Im taking this as a chance to finally ramble abt her anyways so Janet's core inspo when designing her was to avoid 2 key things. Don't make her like Immortal & Th Restless's Clara (due to clara representing michael, not mrs afton, so i wanted to avoid that), and don't base her too heavily off of Ballora. I still have ties to Ballora's character (a music-based theme, blue-centric colour palette, im sure there were more basic ideas but everything else is more hc than themes to keep up) due to my hc thingy of each Funtime having ties to William's wife + kids, but yknow.

But yeah. Funky lady who played bass guitar + did backup vocals in a band during her high school and college years. Literally her and William dating can be summed up by "Seriously, what do you see in that guy?!" "He makes me laugh." bc she was and is WAY out of his goddamn league. Not just bc of the whole serial killer thing he was just an even bigger loser in college. Normal people dont develop a crush on a woman after she nearly breaks your nose and makes you bleed, William /j

But yeah uhh. I also dont like the idea of her being absent or neglectful purely because I got way too attached to her (i was originally gonna do that just to make things easy for myself but. Pretty lady,,, I am a very simple lesbian what can i say) so like. She obviously wasnt the greatest, most fantastic mom to ever exist given she was kinda maybe sorta well aware William was making some weird fucking clowns, but like. Hey. She tried. Also side note my reasoning for her being absent during the whole. Yknow. '83 event (and just evan's bday in general) is bc Evan + Elizabeth are twins and Elizabeth demanded a girls-only trip for her bday, and Janet promised Evan she'd do something just as special for him when she got back. That never happened bc he died lmao loser /j

But yeah uhh. Shes got a lot of regrets. Wishes she coulda done a lot of things better. Kinda dies with those regrets. Ive seen people say that one of fnaf's charms is that no character is 100% good and i LOVE that, and wanted to keep it up with Janet. Good mom and overall a good person, however made some bad decisions along the way and whatnot.

Im still working out specifics (ive been slowly working on a lil private fic abt her and william meeting + their early relationship) but uhhh. Minor notes that dont get their own paragraphs is that William sampled her voice for Ballora so yay easy voice claim, she had an on and off relationship with her band's lead singer (her name's Bev), her birth name is actually Janice Schmidt but if you call her Janice she'll knock at least 2 of ur teeth out, she's a runaway teen and got adopted by this older couple bc her home life kinda sucked (idk specifics yet), and also girlie has an extensive criminal record of minor angsty teen type charges. Also teen Mike dying his hair and then 2020's Michael's hairstyle are both kinda references to Janet's hair because he wnated to look less like his father. Thats all ty. No read more bc you WILL look at my mrs afton post, boy /j

Actually no theres more that im remembering as i write the tags and edit a few details. Back to her and William because god im insane about them. So for starters it. Well i was gonna say Janet was def the first to flirt but i think William definitely developed a crush first and they only kept talking bc of said crush so its kinda up for debate. Anyways yeah at first it was a HUGE sorta like "Well he's funny especially when I fluster him so this can be just a fun lil thing" but because they chatted more they def kinda like. Clicked more. William was a huge fan of listening to her music (from. a distance. he looked kinda like a creep but at least janet only misinterpreted it once) but like *specifically* janet he didnt give a fucking shit abt the rest of the band. Uhh. They had their first run-in and janet kinda. Well. Punched him in the nose before he cleared up that he is NOT a pervert or anything weird like that (bc a guy that looks older than he is staring from a distance when there is a clear crowd he could join kinda gave janet the Wrong idea), then they later bumped into each other in the hall and chatted for a bit, then they kinda just kept "accidentally" running into one another. Uhhh. Some cigaerette-themed flirting and a house party later, yay dating :] can you tell where the current cut-off of the fic is /j Also idk how to put this down properly but they are both runaways and can kinda. Get that vibe from one another. Literally Michael is like some fucked up abomination of the both of them between the troubled past + weird situationship thing + runaway stuff + a lot of minor details that arent important rn. I just. Yeah Janet means the world to me go thru her tag on my blog for some art. Not all of my janet art is posted but the non-posted stuff is all concept work/doodles or just. HOW SOTM EXPLAINED SOME OF THE FNAF LORE HOLES (major spoilers)

I feel like we need to talk about how much info on the lore and world building of FNAF in general Secret Of The Mimic has explained. Obv there is so much stuff in there that I won't be covering it all but I have a few things I would like to talk about.

1 - William Afton having a vent to Sister Loction's bunker IN HIS HOUSE (EXPLAINED)

This was probably one of craziest info back in the old FNAF days that didn't make much sense to regular person in the fandom. Because let's be real it sounded unreal, because it would mean that William's house was build next to Sister Location. But now with SOTM out, we actually have an reasonable explanation for this within the mails you can find in game.

First of all William and Henry (Fazbear Entertaiment) were one of the clients for MCM (which was Edwin's Company who made and sold designs to other companies like we see below):

Which means they knew each other pretty well, they were close bussiness partners. Now, neither William nor Henry had their home anywhere close to their creations (like the whole idea of William living next to SL) but do you know who does? EDWIN. In the game we literally enter his house that is part of MCM whole property! Now you may be thinking, okay but how does this connect the whole vent to SL thing? Well let's look at some mails:

From this mail we get info that in act of desperation since MCM was going bankrupt with Edwin not being able to hold it together, he has sold the property to Fazbear Entertaiment (William Afton and Henry). And since Edwin's house is connected to the company's land/property William (WA) send him the email where he assured the deal was fair and square and that Fazbear Ent. would not touch his family house. Okay but, if William said the house was still Edwin's, how does it contribute to the explanation?

Well...There are two more mails regarding this matter:

And surprise, surprise...Fazbear Ent. LIED! Who would have thought that William Afton the fair and amazing bussness man had lied? Now you might be thinking, okay but first of all who the hell send this email? And why would William even want Edwin's house in the first place, the guy surely could afford better house for his family to settle in nearby!

Well this person is no one another than FIONA, or rather M1, the A.I. version of FIONA. The binary code translates to "SAD".

Now okay, but that still doesn't explain why would Fazbear Ent. want Edwin's house in the first place nor if William really did end up living there with his family...Well it actually does!

Take a look at this:

Yet again this email was also sent by FIONA (M1). Notice how she says "MY HOME". Because ladies and gentelmen the first created Mimic that was FIONA was placed in no other place than EDWIN'S HOUSE. William wanted the house for himself or rather for Fazbear Ent. because the A.I. WAS THERE!

Also the binary translates to "HOME".

FIONA is found by Arnold near Edwin's house!

Not only that, since M1 emotionally manipulated Edwin into creating M2 ("David") it meant THE SECOND Mimic who was extremly helpful for costumes (which would come in handy for Fazbear Ent.) was also in THE SAME HOUSE. And how do we know that? Well just look at this:

2- William having cameras in Crying Child's bedroom from FNAF 4 (EXPLAINED)

Yes, yes this is what you think. This is a bedroom from FNAF 4.

And this confirms the fact that William moved into Edwin's house with his family, because this used to be David's (M2) bedroom before it became Crying Child's in FNAF 4 (which would also explain the cameras in C.C.'s room, they were there to monitor M2 by Edwin and possibly by FIONA).

So to sum it up, yes William did have vents to SL in his house, because it used to be Edwin's house that was next to MCM factory that was lately probably rebuild by William and probably Henry to become Pizzerias from other games. And it also explains why the heck there were cameras in the child's bedroom.

Thus, when a celestial dragon attacked the sunny and remembered you, the entire crew was taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.

⭑Luffy would be SHOOK amid the battle and pause for a bit.

⭑He'd turn and look for you, looking for an affirmation.

⭑Would shout your name a million times until you say something.

⭑When you said yes he'd have mixed feelings (sad and mad generally). Questions would start popping up, leaving him wondering why you hadn't said anything from the beginning.

⭑After he's done with the celestial dragon, he'll drag you and push you to talk.

⭑After your explanation, becoming the pirate king and destroying all the celestial dragons would give him more reasons to do so.

⭑Zoro wouldn't hear about you being a slave. He's either lost or focused on eliminating the marines guarding the boat.

⭑So when he returned to the ship and noticed the uncomfortable atmosphere, he would be perplexed and ask what had happened.

⭑He's not good with words and comforting so he'll just shrug about it.

⭑But he'd still be worried of course. He'd mutter "You can talk to me when you need someone, you know?"

⭑You turned around, making sure that he said it. But he'd turn and walk away.

⭑He's blushing inside and out so I hope you'll take his words seriously!

⭑Unlike Zoro, Nami would be mad AFFF.

⭑She's not just mad at the celestial dragon but also you! The Straw Hats are a family, and there should be no secrets.

⭑Big sister mode activated: When you need to open up, she will be there to provide comfort and gently guide you through the process. She will support you by holding your hand and ensuring that you feel safe and supported every step of the way.

⭑After you're done explaining, she'd try to distract you about the past and would do shopping with you and Robin.

⭑Would def give weird stares to the celestial dragons the crew would meet.

⭑She's now your therapist so congratulations!

⭑Poor Ussop. Boy was already pissing then he found out about your situation.

⭑He'd feel sad after the argument. He never realized something major had happened to you before! I mean, you know how to hide it…

⭑Tried to assist you by offering you coffee and gave some words of encouragement.

⭑For example: "At least you're with us now..." or "That's alright, it was all in the past now."

⭑At one point, he was so worried that he accidentally splashed Zoro's shirt with the coffee he was supposed to give you, causing them to bicker.

⭑It earned you a little laugh, and with that, Ussop was already happy.

⭑Sanji, on the other hand, would pause on what the celestial dragon said.

⭑Whether it was true or not, he directly attacked the celestial dragon.

⭑No female should ever go through that pain. Even if he hadn't experienced it, he knows how hard it would've been.

⭑He'd shower you with praises and affection. "You did so good holding it all up..." or "You're here with us now. You can always rely on us..."

⭑He was also the one who filled Zoro up on what was happening.

⭑Would look at you from time to time to see how you're doing.

⭑ Chopper would be SHOCKED and worried.

⭑He starts thinking about the pain and wounds that you’ve gotten. It clicked to him and finally realized why you used to have a lot of scars on your back + arms.

⭑While you’re explaining to the crew your experience, Chopper went to his office and made some anti-anxiety pills ‘cause he doesn’t want you to suffer anymore. (Robin had to kick him out).

⭑Would look at you endearingly and hold your hand around the ship. He just wants to make sure nothing bad will happen to you!

⭑Other than that, Chopper would still act normal and do some silly stuff with Luffy and Ussop.

⭑Robin is Robin. She already had some suspicions about your past, but she wants to hear the truth directly from your mouth.

⭑When she heard what the celestial dragon said she was a bit shocked. Yes, she had thought about it, but another person who suffered from the world government?

⭑She wanted to hold you right then and there.

⭑If Nami’s sitting on your left then she’d be on your right. She’d pat your back and make you some tea. (Ussop’s coffee did not make it😔)

⭑After the talk, she became your therapist (w/h Nami. 2 heads are better than one they say.

⭑Will try to keep an ear out for you when you disappear on her POV and in an unknown place. (Yes an EAR)

⭑Franky was SUPERRRR shocked. Like Robin, he knew you were hiding something either. But he didn’t push through. Your business is your business.

⭑Would be the one bombing the celestial dragon’s ship.

⭑While you were explaining your past, Franky was crying loudly and was playing sad music in the corner. (He had to get moved since his crying ws louder than ur voice)

⭑After the incident, nothing major really changed your dynamic.

⭑You both were still goofy and you’d still do the “SUPERRR” pose with him.

⭑But even so, Franky is still glad that your past didn’t affect the present negatively; instead, it made you stronger.

⭑Brook is another person who'll be shocked.

⭑He didn't think much about everyone's past. He likes to mind his own business and when someone opens up to him, he'll listen wholeheartedly and give some advice.

⭑So when you open up to the whole crew he'll just listen. He'd give some side comments here and there but that's that.

⭑Like Franky, nothing would change with your dynamic. He might be a little protective but he knows that you could handle yourself.

⭑The moral of the story is to find someone like Brook.

⭑Jimbei would be mad mad AF

⭑He's Luffy but 10x worse when it comes to the celestial dragon topic.

⭑He was never captured as a slave, but as a member of the Fishman species, he understands the immense hardships that must have been inflicted upon them. Being subjected to torture at the hands of one's kind was an even more maddening experience.

⭑But even so, Jimbei would be happy that you're finally free and is with the crew.

⭑After your discussion with the group, he would politely excuse himself and usher you into a private conversation. His demeanor would resemble that of an older brother, emanating a deep sense of care and understanding, while also imparting his valuable knowledge.

⭑Safe to say you have another buddy to talk with.

Here's a post describing how the Afton and Emily family generally are around 1985 (before Charlie dies), in an ask I answered.

The general story beats in terms of who dies first: Evan dies in 1983, then Charlie dies in 1985. Both Elizabeth and MCI kids die in 1987.

That's all I can say for the major story beats! I don't wanna share/spoil too much here, since it'll all be explored in the fic anyway.

i know we all love michael afton, and like i get it, i love him too, but sometimes it really feels like the fnaf fandom cares sooo much about sadboy michael being the saddest boy of all time that they pretend other characters had better lives just so michael seems sadder by comparison

objectively i think elizabeth and the crying child get the worst of this, but especially elizabeth. theres this persistent idea that elizabeth was williams favorite and beautiful angel and he loved and doted on her so much while poor poor mike got nothing. so often i see the dynamic put forward that william was physically abusive but only towards michael. which is ridiculous for a lot of reasons, but especially because we only see william get physical with any of his kids once, and its when he hits elizabeth in the silver eyes.

obviously, the silver eyes is a different continuity. whatever. its still canon, so the things it tells us about the general world and characters still applies. and it outright shows william as an abusive and neglectful father to His Daughter. and EVEN if you want to completely disregard the books, william obviously didnt “love” elizabeth enough in the games to not want to electrocute and experiment on her when he 100% knew she was possessing circus baby. elizabeth was a means to an end to him the same way michael was. he didnt even love her enough to properly keep an eye on her even though he knew she wanted to see a robot that would kill her. if william cared about elizabeth half as much as people pretend he does she would still be alive, because he wouldve put half a mind towards keeping her safe

+ cc is in a similar boat. william had a million chances to be a decent father and try to step in between cc and michael before things went too far. the bite happened at ccs birthday party, literally all william had to do was show up to his own sons birthday and he could have stepped in but he didnt. like, we all know william was using the fredbear plush to keep an eye on cc, so theres no doubt he knew the kid was being bullied. and not only does he do nothing about it, he also 1) actively feeds into ccs fears about the animatronics 2) still makes him go to the establishment housing the animatronics hes terrified of

and the way william talks about them. “you are broken” “i will put you back together” like william views his kids as objects. broken things he can fix. these are not words said by a loving parent

and its not even just the aftons! henry is no where near as horrible as william is—i Am Not suggesting henry was abusive—but he also wasnt a great dad! building a robot to watch your daughter instead of watching your daughter yourself does not make you a good parent! henry loves charlotte, but the emilys were not some perfect family with no issues.

obviouslyyy michael suffered a ton and was a victim no one is saying he wasnt but i promiseee that does not have to come at the cost of pretending no one else was a victim too. things are just as if not more interesting if you acknowlede other characters guys i promise i promise

You had been glad to get the job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza when it had first opened, you remembered when Fredbear's Family Diner had opened in your small town, how there had been some push back on a children's restaurant that focused on animatronic entertainment. There was something charming about the yellow, velveteen furred animatronics however, and it had quickly developed into needing a secondary establishment and including more characters to keep the kids entertained. There were even new uniforms made out, since the staff expanded beyond the two original owners of Fredbear's Family Diner.

You wore your confetti blouse and red vest with pride, and a little yellow bunny clip to tie up your curls that you had made in honour of your favourite animatronic from the establishments, you were proud that you had been there since the very beginning and wore your uniform with a sense of joy that seemed to permeate through the staff generally. Freddy's was a magical place after all, where fantasy and fun came to life!

But as autumn set in, the fast pace of the summer seemed like a hazy memory that you had all but forgotten and woken from. Taking a deep breath as you pushed open the back fire-exit and breathed in the crisp air, eyes closed and drinking in the coolness against your flushed skin as you heard the door click shut behind you. Even on the slower days, Freddy's could be a little manic, and you were feeling a little burnt out of constantly being told the next job that needed doing or spill that needed cleaning without so much as a whisper of praise for all the times that you stayed late or started early , without clocking in you hastened to add mentally.

"You're looking rather flushed there, you all good?"

The voice made you jump as your eyes snapped open, struggling to take in the cool light for a second before drifting over to where the voice had come from. A guy that didn't look that much older than yourself, chestnut brown hair swept back as he peered at you through dark brown rimmed aviator glasses. A lit cigarette hung from his lips, a full brush moustache making him seem a little older as you briefly glanced over him. Black, bulky trench coat, a purpleish-grey sweater over what appeared to be a white turtleneck and khaki pants. Shoes and belt both a dark brown, you had to admit, the tall stranger had impeccable dress sense.

"Yeah, it's just warm inside is all. We seem to keep the heating on super high. Could just be the pizza ovens though." Laughing softly as the man's eyes crinkled slightly as he gave you a smile in return.

"Damn AC must be out again." He tutted, taking out the cigarette from between his lips and flicking the ash away as the smoke curled into the autumnal sky. "I'll get on that after I've finished my break."

"You work here?"

"You've not seen me working here?"

"Admittedly not, and you're not exactly dressed like an employee." The man rolled his eyes and scoffed, taking another drag before leaning back against the brick wall of the building, running his free hand through his hair.

"Henry wanted me to wear a uniform," He sighed, nose twitching as he ran his hand over his lower face. "I told him to fuck off. Everybody knew who we were, guess I just lost that bet."

Your brow furrowed slightly, before raising into a curious expression and looking up at him. Arms crossing across your chest and head tipped slightly to one side.

"How do you know Mr. Emily?" The stranger looked at you with his own furrowed expression, seemingly lost in his thought for a moment before sighing and tossing his mostly burnt out cigarette, stepping on it and crushing it beneath the toe of his shoe as his large hands shoved themselves into the pockets of his khakis.

"How do you think I know one of the owners of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria by first name basis? Do the curls take up space inside that pretty head of yours too?" You blushed at the backhanded compliment, arms tightening against your chest as you scowled slightly at him and one hand automatically moved to your head, touching your hair protectively like it had personally been insulted. As he pushed off of the wall, the man pulled out one of his large hands and offered it to you. Encouraging you to shake it and feel the rough callouses against your softer hand. "Afton, William. Not William Senior, not William Junior, Just William."

Your grip on his hand involuntarily tightened as he introduced himself, your breath hitching in your throat and eyes widening as you looked up at him. William Afton. The man was somewhat of a cryptid amongst the staff, if something was to go wrong, it was joked that Afton was to blame for it. Delivery didn't arrive on time? Afton clearly had it hidden in some back room. Couldn't find your car keys? Afton had taken your car and moved it two spaces over. It was all in good fun, but even when it was only Fredbear's Family Diner, he wasn't often seen.

"I feel like there's a story behind that introduction." 'At least you didn't say something really weird', you thought to yourself as he pulled back his hand and huffed a small laugh. Shaking his head slightly as the warmth of his hand returned to his pockets.

"Small town, people assume you're your father's son kinda thing. Nobody talks about the fact that I might not be from here, and that even if my father was named William, he's not exactly here to differentiate from." Rolling his eyes and you couldn't help but laugh at the explanation. Something about it amused you, and you watched Afton's eyebrows shoot up in surprise, giving him an almost comical expression. "Something funny, curly-locks?"

"Sorry it just caught me a little off guard. Well, 'Just' William, it was nice to meet you out here, slumming it with the rest of us on break." A broad smile on your face was mirrored by a small quirk of his lips and his eyes crinkling again, shrugging his shoulders nochelantly.

"Ah, I'm certainly not slumming it. Slumming it is using the employee break-room."

"Ouch, and might I remind you that you helped to build that break-room?"

"That's all Henry, I like machines over people."

"Great! Maybe you can convince the vending machine not to eat our quarters for once!" William chuckled at the thought and shrugged again. Reaching past you and for the door, opening it up and half-standing between the warm interior and cold outside of the building. Feeling the change in temperature and frowning as he thought about the fact that there would be a lot of sudden, unexpected strain on his precious animatronics due to the changing temperature.

"We'll see. Out of sight, out of mind, little rabbit."

"Rabbit?" You repeated, curious as he gestured to your hair and gave you a bit of a lopsided smile.

"Your Spring-Bonnie clip. Even though it's kinda broken."

"Oh shit, did the ear fall off again?" Hand reaching up and feeling for it through your curls and groaning as you realised the little clay ear had snapped off again, giving it a very lopsided appearance. You weren't sure where your art supplies were back at your home, and you weren't even sure that at that point, it was worth repairing due to the slight discolouration of the original clay thanks to the constant wear and use you put it through.

"I think it's cute. You should keep it like that. Sometimes, things are just meant to be."

He smiled as he closed the door behind him, leaving you outside on your break. Wondering how you had never met him before, and why you were getting a small fluttering tightness in your chest when you thought about his warm smile.

It was a few days before you saw William again, not in a large overcoat this time, but rather a purple button up and brown slacks. He had oil over his forearms and fingers as he tried to adjust his watch on his wrist, the scowl on his face suggesting that perhaps it wasn't going so well. You'd just clocked off, but you figured it wouldn't be such a bad thing to talk to the co-owner again. "Need a hand with that, 'Just-William'?" You asked him, making him look up and smile after a moment as he noticed who it was. His eyes crinkling slightly with his smile as he chuckled and shook his head, turning his attention back to the strap of his watch. "Good to see you too, curly-locks. I'm just trying to get this thing back on after working on the animatronics. Bonnie fritzed out again, which honestly wouldn't be noticeable if he didn't keep playing the same chord for three hours straight." Sighing as he gave up on trying to reattach his watch, running an oily hand through his hair and leaving little black streaks through it. "Really? I hadn't noticed! It's not like I've spent eight hours listening to the same chord over and over again or anything." William paused and chuckled at your sarcasm, shaking his head and holding the watch limply by the strap as he shrugged, putting his hands on his hips and shifting the weight to one leg. "Okay, okay I get it."

"Do you? 'Cause I can try and hide a tape-recorder in your office with the most annoying music I could possibly find on repeat until the batteries run out." "Only if you want to find out what it's like to have all your door hinges slightly undone so they squeak horribly." "Mr. Afton! Bursting into laughter as he smiled and started chuckling too, shaking his head and rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, his cheeks a little flushed. "Yeah, I took that a bit far didn't I?" Looking a little flustered with himself as you shook your head, still bursting into the occasional giggles as your fingers quickly took hold of the watch from his hand, seeing him open his mouth in protest before you took ahold of his wrist and got him to hold it out. Quickly strapping it back onto his wrist, trying to find the most worn out notch in the strap to figure which was the best tightness for him. "There, all done. And maybe, but you have been undergoing torture listening to Bonnie all day." William smiled as he rubbed his wrist where you'd attached the watch, deftly adjusting it to sit right against his skin. Glancing over you and noticing you had the same Spring-Bonnie clip in your hair as always, although it was slightly crooked, something in him wanted to reach out and adjust it to sit straight, although he chalked that up to personal pride in his own personal animatronic. "Thanks, rabbit. I would shake your hand but uh...Guessing you don't fancy scrubbing shit out of them for a few hours?" Helplessly shrugging his hands and looking at the black oil and hydraulic fluid that coated his rough skin. Watching as your nose scrunched up and you held your hands up in surrender. "No thank you, I already have to wash my hair when I get back. Pretty sure some kid spilt soda in it when I was bent down to pick something up." "Does it take you long to make it curly?" He asked, curious as he eyed your hair, feeling the gears of his mind turning over an idea, wondering if he could possibly pull off a harmless little gift for you.

You were the first employee to really talk to him since Fredbear's Family Diner had opened a few years before. Of course, he had interviewed people to work in maintenance for him, but it was always very stiff and formal. Henry had told him countless times that he was too picky about the people he wanted to hire, but William always called it due caution. The animatronics were their whole livelihood, if something were to happen to them, it would all come down on their heads. Literally and figuratively. But something about how you talked and joked with him made him feel at ease, enjoying how you joked with him and didn't treat him differently just because he was one of the owners. He had a feeling he was growing to like you. "It's my natural hair texture?" A little confused by the question as William blinked and raised his eyebrows in surprise, running his fingers over his moustache and spreading more oil everywhere, making you internally cringe at the fact he was really going to have to work at getting it out again. "Really? Huh. It looks pretty, rabbit." He complimented you, giving you another crinkle eyed smile before walking off through the dining hall and towards the back, leaving you blushing, cheeks flushed as you wondered what on earth just happened. And why you couldn't wait to see him again.

Michael Afton Headcanons (General + Romantic)

Warning: Childhood abuse

Mrs Afton will be called Clara and Crying Child will be called Evan. 

General

Life in the Afton family was never perfect. William often neglected his family in favor of working on his animatronics and Clara was always fighting with him because of it. This was the norm for Michael and his siblings, unfortunately, so they were used to it. (Not like watching their parents fight and being neglected didn't hurt any less, but...)

Michael was never as obedient as his younger siblings, even when he was a little kid. It was easy to tell that neither of his parents appreciated that very much and favored the others over him. At least Clara made attempts to hide it. With William, it was ridiculously obvious that he didn't feel unconditional love towards his kids, and that he only cared for them when they followed all his directions. So Michael got the worst treatment in terms of neglect. 

Eventually, the fighting got to be too much for Clara. She divorced William and left the kids with him, moving far away so she wouldn't be associated as an Afton anymore. This decision had a horrible effect on each of the Afton kids- Elizabeth became unhealthily attached to her father, Evan lost his only source of comfort (that wasn't a stuffed animal) and it made Michael's approaching teenage angst worse. Meanwhile William's only thought was "Hmm maybe I can design my new balleria animatronic after my ex-wife now... That way I can have another excuse not to take care of my kids 😻"

Being left unsupervised was the worst thing that could've happened to Michael. It gave him a sort of power he shouldn't have had, being that he was frustrated at his entire family and too immature to know how to deal with anger correctly. He vented his anger by becoming a destructive bully. 

At first he just bullied Evan because he was an easy target. Not Elizabeth though, she... Mysteriously disappeared before he could do anything too bad to her. But her disappearence only left Michael more pissed off at the world. He started bullying kids at school with his group of friends. They quickly became the tormentors of the neighborhood. 

Teenage Michael was a total shitbag, really. He hurt others because it made him feel powerful in a situation he was powerless in. Fun Fact: William hurts others to feel powerful too. Like father, like son. 

However, Michael's tormenting wasn't 100% just for a power trip. It was partly to get attention from his father too. He got into all kinds of trouble looking for attention. He got into fights at school, purposely flunked all his classes, made his abuse against Evan abundantly clear, etc. Nothing worked. So then he decided to involve one of his father's own creations in his next scheme... And that one definitely worked. But not in the way he wanted it to.

So Evan was dead. William wasn't pleased, to say the least. It wasn't the fact that his son was dead that got him, it was the fact that Fredbear's had to be shut down. His first passion project was ruined by his own son.

William started giving Michael attention, but not the kind that he needed. He began taking his anger out on him. Screaming, hitting, locking him in his room for hours on end... The list went on. Now Michael knew what it felt like to be in Evan's spot. 

But unlike William, Michael felt geniune sorrow from his brother's death. He never wanted him dead, he just went too far. If the guilt of that wasn't enough, nobody was understanding of him either. His "friends" ditched him and the entire town shunned him. Nobody wanted to be around him anymore. Not many people did to begin with, but now everybody acted like he was an apathetic murderer. (Everybody acted like he was his father...)

He was forced to spend the rest of childhood in isolation. When he wasn't isolated, he was with his father, only piling the mental and physical scars on top of each other. He transitioned from bitter and angry to terrified and ridden with guilt.

He learned his lesson about being an asshole, but he's been beat down so many times that he's afraid to get back up. He just took all the negativity that was thrown at him. He believed that he fully deserved it and that he didn't deserve a happy life. (Because he knew his father sure didn't...)

His only source of comfort at this time was watching TV. The TV raised him when his parents didn't, so... Basically always. One of the reasons he kept going was so he could catch the new Immortal and The Restless episodes. 

Okay this is really stupid and out of place but I like to think this is what it looked like when Michael first discovered Immortal and The Restless:

Once Michael finally became an adult, he was ready to run away from it all. He knew that he didn't deserve to be happy, that he was a monster just as horrible as his father was, but he couldn't take it anymore. He wasn't strong enough. 

So he took a page out of his mother's book and moved away. He didn't have enough money to move too far away, sadly, but he got far enough that nobody in town could recognize him. That's exactly what he was searching for. He desired a chance to start anew.

He didn't want to be Michael Afton anymore. Michael Afton was a murderer, a tormenter, a coward. He wanted to be a better person now, but he was convinced Michael Afton could never be better. Leading him to change his identity once he finished moving.

Michael Afton was dead. He was Mike Schmidt now, and Mike Schmidt was an incredible man. He was friends with all his neighbors, he was hard working, he never caused a bit of trouble. And he always smiled. Never a creepy and unnerving smile, but a warm and pleasant one. 

This change did help him a bit. He was being treated like a person again instead of a monster, so that was appreciated. But it did a lot of harm too. He was pushing down all of his feelings and ignoring his problems. They were Michael Afton's problems, not Mike Schmidt's, after all. He was masking his true self and hiding it all with a grin. (He's like his father no matter what he does...)

However, this new life didn't last long. Everything stopped when he got a phone call from William. It was a sickeningly polite request, asking him to go down to Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental, only for a simple week long shift. 

Naturally, Michael was furious. He didn't want to accept a single request from that asshole, especially not now! He was still reinventing himself! He was ready to decline until William brought up the true reason why he wanted Mike down there- To free his little sister. 

Mike was in awe. This was a chance to fix his past mistakes. Not all of them, of course, but he could make up for at least one part of the past. Though he was reluctant to have anything left to do with those bastardly animatronics, he felt like he had to do this. He gathered his courage and accepted, not knowing what was ahead of him. 

The universe must have decided that he hadn't paid enough for his mistakes, because he ended up literally dying and then having his corpse used as a disguise for murderous animatronics. Not fun. Even when Ennard finally left, he just felt... Empty. Both physically and mentally. He wasn't even sad about it. He was accepting.

This was a natural punishment for trying to run away from his past, he assumed. Mike always thinks he deserves the bad things that happen to him. But, he also realized... When did his father ever get punished for something?

It just wasn't fair. William got away with everything while Mike was the one who had to pay for it. He did some terrible shit when he was younger, he knows, but wasn't this enough? When was William going to pay for slaughtering children for his selfish experiments and power trip? 

In that moment, he knew what he needed to do. He had to kill his father and get revenge. He needed to free the rest of the souls like he did with his sister. That way, he could finally be at peace. 

From then on, Mike was the best version of himself. He still made an effort to keep up his new identity, but he wasn't trying to run away anymore. He was scared and he was battling mental health issues everyday, but he was determined now. And nobody could stop him. 

Romantic

Let's say you fell in love after he moved and changed his name, so you didn't know about his past. He wouldn't tell you the truth for the longest time. Mike sees you in an extremely high light. You've got so many good qualities about you, and he's... Just some cowardly asshole who lives a lie. But you don't know that. You think he's great too. And fuck, he loves that, he wants it to stay that way so badly. He really does want to be with you. 

So he stays as Mike Schmidt. He wouldn't mention a word about Michael Afton, his family, or anything to do with Freddy Fazbear's. Forget Fredbear's. He refuses to be a part of that. Most of the time he just dances around the subject when it's brought up, but he's willing to flat out lie if he has to. He doesn't understand that having a relationship built on lies isn't the best idea. 

Besides that stuff about lying to you, I don't think he'd be too bad of a partner. He loves you so much and wants the best for you. He'd work hard so you could have everything you need/want. But since he works so much, it's hard to find time to spend together. Especially whenever he's working the night shift.

When you do find time, you probably won't be going out on dates. He's paranoid and avoids going out when he can. So you'll likely be at home, whether you're resting in bed or watching Immortal and The Restless together. 

While he was working at Circus's Baby, he always made it a point to call you after 6AM and let you know he was on his way home. You didn't know that, truthfully, it was just his way of letting you know he was still alive. 

He's also a protective boyfriend. Though he doesn't like going out, he would force himself to get past his fear and go out with you when you have to leave. He'll accompany you on trips to the grocery store or other errands. He makes sure to write down your work phone number somewhere safe, so he can call you during your breaks and make sure you're okay. 

And in a way, him lying about his past is a way of protecting you, too. You could get hurt if you get involved. So he buries all the pain and wears a smile, no matter how much it hurts. When he has sudden flashbacks to his father's abuse or the death of his brother, his grin only falters for a second. He considers this his way of being strong. 

Mike can't hide it forever, though. He'll be forced to confess after he gets scooped, because... Well, imagine trying to hide purple skin from somebody you see every day. You'll have to talk some sense into him though- He needs to be convinced that he can't handle everything on his own and that this isn't some punishment for his sins. So weirdly enough, him getting scooped wasn't entirely bad? Because it made your relationship stronger and he's better off, now that he has a goal and somebody to support him along the way. 

But that didn't mean everything was sunshine and rainbows now. For one thing, his appearance is pretty fucked up, and not in the hot way. It's just another thing to add to the list of insecurites. He worries that you'll leave him for somebody better. He avoids physical affection as well, because he's sure you wouldn't want to touch him. 

You can help by giving him lots of reassurance, though. He likes being called handsome even if he doesn't believe it, and it feels good knowing you're always there for him. 

This might be an unpopular headcanon, but I honestly think Michael would want to get married. Probably not when he was younger and the wounds from his trauma were fresh, but once he's older and more healed. Just because his parents' marriage didn't turn out well doesn't mean that yours won't. There probably won't be an official ceremony, there might not even be any official documents saying you got married, but he would buy a pair of rings so you could say you were anyway. It's still marriage to him. 

No kids though. He's still intensely afraid of having one of his own to take care of. The next best thing is Helpy 💀 But speaking of Helpy, the only Fazbear restaurant he'll let you go to is the one from Pizzeria Simulator. It's the only place he has any control over things, so he wouldn't be on the verge of having a panic attack everytime you got near an animatronic... But maybe you still don't need to be around those high risk ones...

Oh, and don't worry, he won't stick around in the fire like he did at the end of the game. I believe the only reason he did that was because he didn't have anything else. This family drama was his whole life, his whole purpose. So he thought it was only right to pass on with everybody else then. 

But with you here now, he can't just leave you like that. Not as a single parent caring for Helpy! So you three can finally live that happily ever after without having to worry about any murderous animatronics or people in bunny suits again.

Anyways, Eclipse’s breakdown episode. I have so many thoughts and feelings. There were a lot of minor but important details given about him and how he thinks of himself.

I can’t help but compare him to Epic’s Odysseus, specifically the song Monster at the end of the Underworld Saga. Eclipse is very much still in the belief that he is the original Eclipse (whether that is the truth or not). He still very much sees himself as that ruthless and evil killer we met at the beginning of the show. He’s also been told several times recently that he has gone soft, by the Mimic, Eklipse, and now Afton. They’re all pushing him to go back to his old ways and become that Monster he sees himself as. I wouldn’t be surprised if this breakdown led him to believe they’re right, and he must return to his old self to return his family to him. Becoming the Monster to save his family and ensure they don’t have to.

I also would love to get a deep dive into how much base DCA programming he has. Stuff Ruin would know. He clearly has it in his system, he talks about its influence on him like with knowing how to sew. We also see how much care he has for taking care of kids through his dream episode, and just his interactions with his kids in general. I would love to know if that’s effecting him as a person. This might just be me, but it almost feels like he had his base personality with the base DCA coding added on. Ruin did mention using Solar’s code to remake Eclipse. The caring side of the DCA coding is clashing with his much ruder personality and is confusing even him. He doesn’t know why he cares so much, just that he does. Those are his kids, as much as he feels he’s not fit for them to be.

He wants to be more than just that monster that everyone sees. He wants to grow out of his past and take care of his kids and his friends, but it is so deeply a part of who he is that he can’t seem to get away from it.

I’m so grateful that Roxy was able to look past the hurtful things Eclipse said and help him. She was definitely a huge help in making sure he didn’t spiral farther. He was already closing in on his wits end, and that two week deadline did not help a bit. Part of what he said to her was definitely just him projecting. I do think they’ll need to talk about it though. The part that wasn’t him projecting needs to be addressed. That sounded like something he’d been holding onto. (Eclipse you need to actually talk to people when you have a problem with them buddy.)

I can’t wait to see how the next two weeks play out. We’ve got a lot to look forward to.

I've thought about this for a long time.

I've always had thoughts about it, on and off, yet I never had the guts to actually do it. I know I could. However I've always hesitated thinking about what I'd leave behind.

What about mom? What about dad and his heart disease? My pet cat? What about my favourite books? Hobbies? Series? Will I ever finish them before my time runs out? Will I ever know their ending? What about my money I still haven't received from my friend, will she still give it back when I died?

Do I need to make an email for all my friends and family and have it sent days after I die? What should I say to them? I wanted to confess all my sins— my shortcomings, to my parents. Finally, I can let them down one last time by unleashing all these kept secrets and disappointments. By then, will they pity me for enduring this life for too long or will they resent me for tainting our family name and being a disgrace?

I sat in front of my computer, alone in my room with no other noise but the fan and dogs barking outside. It feels like time stopped at this moment. Like I could continue with my life without any consequences. However I knew time won't stop for anyone... and so does my thoughts.

Instinctively, like a flash if light, I typed in words I never expect to see appear on my computer history.

I did it... I entered the dark web.

I laughed to myself, almost insanely. This is getting too ridiculous, even for myself. Am I really not going to turn back now? Perhaps I could still close my computer and forget about this.

My body moved on its own, ignoring the warnings running inside my head. It felt like a dozen of red lights flashing inside my head signaling me to stop but I was blind and floored the gas pedal.

I searched desperately for something as if running out of time was part of the risk in doing what I needed to to; it was. I needed to finish this as soon without having anyone know or see it.

I needed it to be done quickly before I crumble down to myself once again and break down.

I managed to keep my mind shut from overthinking and stressing over the fact that this was too much for me. I couldn't afford distractions.

I've accumulated enough money to buy myself a hitman, set aside enough money for my funeral expenses, and enough money to support my family just in case they broke down once I'm gone; I hoped that they won't.

It's been months since I ventured in the dark web. Weeks have passed since I finished writing all the emails to be sent to my family and a few of my friends. Weeks have passed since I acquired a few more money to add to what I'll leave for my parents. And days have passed since I tried to finish everything in my bucket list except for two things.

During those days, I lived my life normallyas I did before. I spent time with my family, bonded with my friends, and caught up with my favourite series to whatever I can catch up to with my limited time. It was as if what happened a few months ago didn't happen.

It felt like a fever dream... but I knew it was real.

This was all a facade. A play to perform until it was the end of the show.

Today's the day, I guess. Or maybe not. I had completely forgotten. How could I ever forget about it? Nevermind, at least I finished what I needed to do.

I had planned to go out today and luckily I didn't have any errands to run. I had made sure to clean the house before I left and gave my mom a goodbye and an 'I love you', a habit I developed these past few months. At first it felt weird but it gave off some sort of relief and goodness in me. I smiled when I heard my mom say it back before I left.

At this point, I can feel myself close to crying... even when I've done this multiple times, gaslighted myself it was for the better, I still felt unsure and scared as I walk along my chosen path.

Maybe I wasn't meant to do this....

It had gotten very late and I still wasn't at home. I've destroyed my phone completely and disposed it somewhere. I assumed that my parents are now looking for me... desperately.

I had went inside the location an unknown messenger had sent me a few days ago. Room 44 of a motel miles away from home.

Perhaps the further I go from home would be better.

I've arrived at the designated room and no one was inside. The room was dimly lit with red highlights, flower petals and scented candles lit everywhere. It awfully gave a romantic vibe for a crime scene that was about to happen.

No one was present in the room but me so I closed the door and inhaled the scent coming from the candles. I wandered around the room and looked at the details further.

I inspected the bed a little closer and saw various sex toys displayed. Some were ropes, whips, paddle, and lots more. I even saw a spreader bar at the bottom of the bed, as well as a few more dildos and extra condoms in the box and other more stuff I don't recognize.

I don't really expect to use all of these in one night... I might not even last an hour.

Hi Everyone!

now THIS is what I was excited about, Hurricane kids from early 2000's (SPECIFICALLY late 2003) will remember this almost IMMEDIATELY! These are restored framed from the original Fredbear and friends ad campaign! I was SO SO excited when i recovered these, I swear they were like MY FAVORITE back in the day!

This ad ran from around 7/10/2003 to about 8/15/2003 being pulled after the Fredbear and Friends project was canceled by the subsequent disappearance of Henry Emily in October. [Specifically around 10/13/2003 - 10/16/2003, There are several dates here, but I personally couldn't find one that was not immediately disproven by another.] The ad featured the character designs from the 2007 Freddy Fazbears location, alongside Spring-Bonnie and Fredbear himself!

The ad's purpose was to announce new animatronic characters alongside an animated series in a more simplistic art style, a general expansion of the Fredbear family name, and for a while after the bite of '03 it was a hopeful statement that despite the tragedy, founders William Afton and Henry Emily would keep Fredbears Family Diner open!

Which, as you know, Didn't happen.

With Fredbear's officially shut down in November of 2003, William Afton would later reopen the business under another name in 2007! Putting these designs to good use in the infamous Freddy Fazbears Pizza!

By the way, sorry about the censorship and the semi-smear frame of chica, ALL the frames I could find with Fredbear or Springbonnie were blotted out, I believe this is because of the mass rebranding when the franchise was bought out and as for Chica? That was the clearest I could get, most of her frames are of her twirling!

Rest assured, this happens all the time! It just means I need to do a little more digging to find the uncensored version! I'll update this post when I find them!

But Into the Pit kind of makes me think about William and Michael. I won't be able to articulate it properly/put fancy evidence like other people so sorry about that. It's just a random thought that popped into my brain watching GTLive ItP gameplay.

Because, in my head, Michael sees his dad how he really is - much like how Oz knows that Pit Bonnie replaced (still questioning this) his own.

Based on what I know, William was a shit dad. Obviously. Midnight Motorist proved that with his drunken rage, and what kid would break open their window at night?

(I doubt the window could be opened if breaking it was the only way to get it open, which leads to the whole: what parent installs a window to their kid's bedroom that is a fucking safety hazard.)

To everyone around Oz, Pit Bonnie is his dad/they see his dad when looking at Pit Bonnie. They don't know that they're interacting with a being made of agony (haven't finished the books, but I've heard this being thrown around, but it's not that important to this so if it's wrong ignore it), whose killed six children. Very much NOT Oz's dad. Lol. But, again, Oz is the only one who can see underneath the illusion/mirage (? in the game he kinda like... phases...).

How did I connect this to William and Michael?

Well - Michael doesn't seem all that surprised with what his dad has done. I'd argue that he's pretty nonchalant about the whole dead children, haunted animatronics thing. Especially with the Afton family poster with the clowns in FNAF 6 and just how his voice line in the GF Very Hard Mode cutscene sounds. He does what his father says, and throughout the timeline goes through his little redemption arc (if you see it that way through burning Frights and trapping everyone in FNAF 6 to unknowingly or knowingly help Henry) without any reaction like how Vanessa was in the movie (I think Scott would've conveyed this in the game's universe/the logbook but we didn't see any of that).

Thus, he knows what his father is/was. A monster.

To everyone else, William was a father who co-owned Freddy's, a man who happily donned the Spring Bonnie suit to help make children smile and laugh. But to his family (again, he wasn't the best father and not the best husband either ((speculation some1 let me know if I'm wrong), he was someone to be wary around. You didn't know what move garnered what reaction, so you had to walk around on eggshells in your own home. When he turned to alcohol it only made things worse. He was a monster hidden in human flesh.

I like seeing the Fazbear Frights books as something Fazbear Entertainment created in the Freddy's universe as opposed to Tales of the Pizzaplex (I've heard that those are more close to canon don't kill me plz). So, things aren't 1-1. But I do see them as having truths in them, like Fazbear Entertainment slipping in stuff that happened in the past, bits of canonicity that help explain certain aspects of the games itself much like how the trilogy and movie do if that makes sense. Parallels that help explain each other.

So yeah, through that lens I saw William and Michael. A boy that knew what his father was when the general public didn't.

N°1 and the winner by a large lead, Jelsa from ROTBTD fandom:

This ship is like Willam Afton, it always comes back one way or another. This ship falls into the category of "dorky man-child with a great heart" and "serious and composed woman who loves dorkiness". Shipping these two was what basiclly shaped what was to be a kid in the early 2010s, so if you go to any social media and type in Jelsa, be sure that thousands of edits, fanarts and fanfic will flood your feed.

N°2 and the first canon ship of many people, we have Hiccstrid:

How can you not love these two? Nerdy man and Buff woman might just be the best description for these two (of course their characters are way more deep than that but you get the point). This was the first ship that we as a generation, at least for me and my inner circle, saw their begginning, their middle and their end (kinda because they are still together). This is the kind of relationship that many want, a healthy and understanding one. And it wasn't in first position because me and my team of researchers (aka my dipshit friends) decided that Jelsa had a more cultural impact.

N°3 and the ship that made many rage recently, CaitVi or Piltover's Finest as it was originally presented:

Now this was kinda hard to place because CaitVi was tied with the fourth place, but it got the advantage for one simple factor: they had a sex scene which was very passionate and very funny for the context. Originally, this ship was first presented in LoL as a "will or won't" situation but then Arcane happened and confirmed everything the community was suspecting, they are indeed lesbians. Now, this might be the most important ship of the last five years if it wasn't for the runner-up for third place...

Which lead us to N°4, TimeBomb aka Ekko/Jinx:

It's crazy how popular this ship got in such a short amount of time. Don't get me wrong, before Arcane, this ship was popular in the LoL community but only as non-canon and then Riot said "actually..." It's tragic to think that these two will never be happy together, but it is what it is.

N°5 and to be honest a more tragic ship than TimeBomb, Pricefield from Life is Strange:

Oh man, what can I even say? These two are the perfect exemple of "meant to be but destiny is a bitch". I don't talk about it often but I'm a huge fan of LIS and it made me realize "wait, am I really straight?", turns out I wasn't (i'm bi). This is the most tragic ship in history because no matter how much Max tries, Chloe always dies and that breaks my heart.

N°6 and I'm honestly surprised this is even on here, Shinobu/Giyuu from Demon Slayer aka Kimetsu no Yaiba:

I'm not going to sugar-coated but I hate Shinobu. But I gotta admit this ship is pretty cute, despite my hatred for the weakest hashira in history (she had one good fight and her death was fucking stupid). But again, I can see why people ship this so much, the opposites attract each other or something like that.

N°7 and probably the one people are going to hate me for it, Catradora from She-Ra:

Why is it so low on the list? Because as quickly as people were happy to see this ship actually sailing, it was much quicker that people forgot about it.

Now, are there still on the internet that are still obsessed with this ship? Yes.

Did I screamed like a maniac, waking up my whole family when they kissed? Absolutely.

But did I forgot this show as soon as it ended? For sure. That's why is so low.

N°8, Raven and Beast-Boy from Teen Titans:

These two had to be here. Simple as that.

N°9 and we don't fully know if it's canon or not but... Miles Morales/Gwen Stacy, Into the Spider-Verse and its sequels:

It's one of those ships that had a great peak and recently it reached it's bottom with what happened in the Across the Spider-Verse. But we know that these two are going to end together or not. Marvel surprise me.

For last but not least, we have kinda of a wildcard because this ship is part of a goddamn love square but it's my favorite from it, Marichat from Miraculous.

This love square is a mess but this was surprinsly the most "acceptable" ship from it. Because Marinette was literally the only one that could see through Chat Noir's facade. Plus that scene where they kiss is so cute that I had my feet in the air for it.

ONE MORE NIGHT FNAF AU CHARACTERS - THE SUIT - Part 1

Above is the SpringBonnie suit from my FNAF AU/rewrite called "ONE MORE NIGHT".

This is the first of many posts showing off some of the characters designs. I will talk more about the AU itself in other posts, however since this is the first I might as well give a basic rundown, it will be at the bottom of this post. William Afton himself will get his own post but this is just about his suit.

Anyway. This is the SpringBonnie suit from my FNAF rewrite!

I never really liked the completely butt naked suits, it always looked really weird to me. Generally when i draw the other animatronics I stick to the basic canon design (without the clothes), but with Springbonnie I realllyyyy prefer the design with some clothing over the top. idk why, it just makes him look siller.

Also if those things are being worn, I can imagine they're stinking hot during the summer, and I know the three piece suit is probably no better for keeping cool but at least he looks cool while dying of heatstroke. :)

There is also an animatronic version version of the suit of course!

The suit (SpringBonnie) was made as a suprise gift for William for the opening (By Henry Emily).

The suit has two varients. The summer varient, and the other one. Specifically in the hotter seasons, the suit is only worn with the head, paws and feet + usually a purple suit.

The other version, is the full suit, which covers the full body (is featured in the small doodle to the left). The full suit sometimes features a bowtie, or an undercoat (just to decorate it a little). And you'd be suprised by how quickly it can be put on. William got springlocked in this version specifically.

When specifically William wears the suit, his hair being too long, pokes out from underneath the head of the suit. It sometimes gets tangled in the springlocks! This makes it difficult to take off, ESPECIALLY if the springlocks are released.

The rewrite, which will be uploaded to Ao3, is split into 4 to 5 parts (it will be put into an folder on Ao3 to make it more organized). The timeline follows off canon for the most part, however most of the events have been organized into a specific timeline. The order of the games specifically that I am following is below.

(if the text is unreadable: FNAF 4 → FNAF 2 + Sister Location → FNAF 1 → FNAF 3 → FNAF 6)

PART ONE is centred before the main six games, and overlaps FNAF 4. It is centred around Henry Emily and William Afton (and their families) during the early stages of their animatronic making endeavours.

The other 3-4 parts have been planned out but I won't talk about them that much right now.

The AU leans a lot more on the characters, their motivations, and their relationships with other characters. It focuses more on telling the story in full than in hints, like the games do.

It is likely not going to be completely accurate to canon, so if the timeline changes with new FNAF releases then big whomp I've already made a timeline and I'm not touching that thing again.
