Sometimes I forget that I make my own little stories and endings and like families I made up in my head for c!beeduo and I forget everyone else does not know what I’m talking abt. Anyways. c!Ranboo was revived c!Beeduo decided to divorce but in the “we need time to grow up and work on ourselves but we’ll get married again once we’re ready” way. They still give each other heart eyes 24/7 and are disgustingly in love and spend time with michael. c!Tubbo starts his own business as a contractor and he builds houses. That makes him very happy because he loves building and building connections with people. and He lives in a small countryside town with SBI and mikey bikey. c!Ranboo returns to the end #ENDPRINCEPERIODT and rules there. He decides that’s not his life anymore. Returns to the overworld or earth or whatever. c!Beeduo get remarried. Have an actual cute little wedding. Move into a nice little cottage. And adopt like 4 more kids. And get old and wrinkly. MY HAPPILY EVER AFTER FOR THEM

decided for giggles to see what dsmp has been up to in the. Two and a half years since I last looked

Anyways so canon is trashfire but the part of me that started sunbringer in dsmp is now stirring to make More stuff. Like a "the universe reset thing but dream is still in prison so it doesn't reach him" thing that I'm trying to remove from brain bc I actually didn't do the catching up via vods and instead looked at fandom reaction for instructions and uhm.

Yeah no I genuinely want to write this it's gonna be so interesting but also who even does dsmp anymore like is there an audience

what it is is like, on a meta level there were characters in the dream smp who were played by ccs who didn't have a large enough fanbase or "lore importance" to impact the writers room. like there were characters with specific written roles and there were characters whose arcs and internal conflict weren’t even being considered right. people's inability to separate cc from c also contributed, with cgnfs lore importance correlating w the ccs large audience (and ties to the main antagonist), he never would've been relevant otherwise. cniki was lightning in a bottle bcs she had just enough involvement with the guy's involved in the "main plot" to get eyes on her and what she did with that stage and focus was so captivating her character was able to stand alone with a fanbase of her own

however because of the nature of the dsmp, being able to see every characters individual perspective, the idea of 'side characters' only exists on a kinda narrative level, like for all intents and purposes ctommy was the main character (ignoring that old ass debate), the story was being sort of written with him at the center so thats how he was treated narratively but also on a meta level, many characters arcs were weighted based on how ctommy interacted with them. there were no side characters in the dsmp bcs of the nature of streaming as a medium but in the like, overarching story, ctommy is the mc

ALL OF THIS TO SAY ctubbo exists paradoxically. like technically he's one of the 'main guys' the fandom would focus on and was close enough to garner his own dedicated fanbase but [the thoughtstream that would spur this post] in modern discussions about dsmp nostalgia and character quotes and stuff I've never once seen ctubbos name.

So but but butttttttt on a meta level, narrative level, and TEXTUALLY LIKE IN THE ACTUAL TEXT he is regarded as a side character. like cctubbo gained a large enough fanbase to stand on his own but despite his proximity to the writers room he wasn't very involved in the writing of the "script" however the importance of his character to ctommy made it so that his character was always considered in the script (well characterized or not). with ctommy as the mc and ctubbo as his best friend, in the story of the overall dsmp ctubbo is the sidekick to main main character. now that's all well and good if it was only on a meta/textual level but this dynamic is actually crucial to his arc like actually IN THE TEXT

like in season 2 cdream is the main antagonist with making ctommys life a living hell being his main goal. he meticulously separates them and incites a canyon sized rift in their relationship. then while tubbo is holding up the sky and being [new] lmanburgs youngest acting president. cdream fully befriend him at his lowest with the intention of using him against ctommy. ctubbo was never a person in cdream's eyes. he, like many other characters, goes out of his way to dehumanize ctubbo, viewing him as an extension of ctommy the same way the discs are, something to taunt him with or destroy for a reaction. we see this in the white house fight and disc saga finale. despite going out of his way to gain ctubbos trust and play chess with him everyday, cdream never even saw him as a person (how fucked is that)

Anyway where was I goibg with this..ctubbo had enough ties to the 'main characters' to be tied to the 'main narrative' of the dsmp (in quotes bcs there's nuances to those phrases) but not enough to be allowed to stand alone on a meta level, narrative level, and in the text when regarded by other characters. it isn't until later in the story [thru streamer and tubbling efforts that he kinda gets his own legs? until the story requires otherwise from him and he's dragged along to whatever role the main story needs him to play (which in retrospect led to a lott of mischaraterization huh who knew

I don't care how wishfulfilment-y and ooc it is but I like to think that after C! Wilbur moved to Utah, he kind of healed a bit and reflected on a lot of his actions and he's in some community service job because he feels like he's making amends for what he's done by doing it (and also he likes feeling important and like he's helping people). And maybe he's taken up a writing hobby, and he has a book in the works and he keeps rewriting his drafts but he is genuinely having fun for what feels like the first time in a long time. He still occasionally goes back to his old bad habits but he's in a better place now and he's made some new friends and connections. He still tries to keep contact with some of the people he knew though.

He's trying to give Tommy some space but also trying to keep in touch and he's been semi successful with it. He's given Fundy complete space and tries to respect his decision that he doesn't want him in his life anymore but he does try to leave the door open for if Fundy ever changes his mind even if he doesn't count on it. He's sent Tubbo a letter but hasn't gotten a response and doesn't think he will. He's tried getting closer to Niki and it hasn't exactly worked out but they're still in contact and send eachother letters at least once every 5 months (the letters take a while though because they both live far away). He did see her when he visited Philza once though. And even if they're not as close as they used to be, he's glad they're able to keep in touch after everything.

Him and Quackity surprisingly exchange letters quite oftenly. It started out with Wilbur sending him one to properly apologise since he never got the chance to and it had been on his mind and to his surprise, Quackity actually replied (with a snarky response but a response nonetheless). And then it kind of became a pattern for them to send eachother letters quite regularly since Utah and Las Nevadas aren't that far apart so it travels faster. Their letters range from playful stupid banter to insights about eachothers weeks to snarky remarks laced with genuine advice to occasional glimpses of sincerity and care. Despite everything they're actually on pretty decent terms and Quackity's actually visiting him in a week. Wilbur's quite excited and giddy about it even if he won't admit it

Overall he's in a better place now even if there's a still lot of things to work on and even if what he's done still haunts him some days, he's coming to terms with it. He hasn't healed completely nor is he really truly happy but he's getting there and maybe it will be okay

I would love to hear your thoughts on C!Tommy characterization! Like how do you depict him or aspects you like as I like hearing thoughts on him, along with how his trauma and experience ended up with mellowing a boy who enjoy being brash, loud and childish only to be tormented because of these traits, go to war because of his attachments and ended up in codependency and desperate to not let such attachment fade.

this is a bit of a loaded ask so bear with me for a minute.

i disagree with the bit that implies ctommy mellowed out particularly, but till address it below.

i believe ctommys core traits to be his rebelliousness, his need for guidance, a desire to be understood and his longing for happiness above all.

1) his rebelliousness Is to me the most apparent trait of his. the main one that sticks out. his "annoying at first" motto to me stems from his rebelliousness.

a sorta "get used to me cus Im not changing" attitude.

and of course his role during most of lmanburgs history (aka s1-2) is that of the rebel. either against dream (fighting for independence), jschaltt (fighting to take back lmanburg) or dream again (on exile, where he was sent for 'breaking the rules'.

2)ctommy as a follower/ needing guidance.

during the lmanburg independence war it's clear that Tommy's closely following Wilbur, that's not really debatable.

but this aspect of his character to me gets more interesting as his relationship with Wilbur evolves. a specific showcase of this that always gets me Is during one of the final crimeboys streams where cWill pretends to burn the discs to "free tommy from dream" he does this with good intentions, but tommy feels like his trust has been betrayed nonetheless. still he follows Wilbur through the nether even while complaining, and right after implying he wants him out of his sight and Wilbur wanders off he asks "where did you go" immediately and follows Wilbur anyways.

however this isn't limited to his relationship with Wilbur. personally I believe this extends to dream on the exile arc to some extent.

tommy was practically isolated, with the only person he could rely on being dream. he convinced himself that somehow if he did what dream told him to everything would eventually be fine, because dream was his friend. of course he gets rid of this thoughts on the tower ("he wasnt my friend, he was only here to watch me") as his view of dream reverts back to "oppressive authority to fight".

3) ctommys desire to be understood to me is presented the best with his relationship with both Technoblade and quackity, both standing on opposite ends of the spectrum.

ctommy fought about ideals with Technoblade on and off during the entire bedrock bros arc. though he mostly let it go each time (afraid to piss off the guy that was actively protecting him) he still never stopped trying to make techno understand his position regarding lmanburg, the discs, and tubbo. this conflict was never resolved. on ctechnos final letter he wishes that tommy "finds what he's looking for" letting us know that even after everything that happened he never fully understood his ideals.

on the contrary quackity Is someone who can very easily switch to Tommy's wavelength. ctommy trusts him to understand him too, shown specially on the stream where tommy (using an invis pos and wearing only pants) introduced himself as trousers and opened up to quackity on the pretense of being "friends with a guy who has this issues and seeking advice". and quackity gives it to him! he never questions trousers because he understands that this is how tommy feels more comfortable talking about himself, and that's ultimately what matters to him.

4) his longing for happiness or the past

I believe the disc war is by design the perfect representation of this trait.

the disc war remained relevant throughout the entire plot of the dsmp because the discs themselves served to represent both Tommy's relationship with tubbo and an idealized past he wished he could go back to. it was the catalyst for the initial conflict between tommy and dream that escalated as time went on and it effectively stablished the emotional core of the story from s1 to the disc finale being clingy duo (fight me on this one) with dream as the main antagonist.

the discs, ctommys main attachment, where ultimately not that materially important. however they where the physical presentation for both his relationship with tubbo and the past. two things that bring him happiness and that he wishes he could turn back time on.

to address what I pointed out now. I do not believe ctommy mellowed out. he matured, and his outlook on things changed, but he said it himself in the crimeboys finale with the "I didn't use to be this angry" quote. ctommy didn't mellow out, he got angrier, more prone to lash out, more paranoid.

his codependency as well was not something he "ended up with" its a trait of his that he carried since the very beginning, though you could argue it started to go wrong for him towards the end.

this was based on a misreading of a different post so now im rating how lesbian dsmp characters are. no real criteria just going off of vibes from a lesbian. based vaguely on how lesbian they are and how much they might identify as lesbian

DSMP LORE STREAM IN 2024???If you werent aware, recently Jackmanifold lost a net to Tubbo and had to log on to the Dream SMP. It was meant to be a simple stream, wandering through Jack's memories. However, he came accross Tommy.

C!Tommy.

(All names c!) Tommy began to speak as though the time that has passed in our world was passing in his as well, and Jack caught on and spoke that way as well. They were speaking in the Chat on the server, rather than VC.

Its revealed that the only survivors of the nuke that ended the server were Jack, Tommy, and Tubbo.

After the nuke fell, not many survived. For those who did, the memories of this place were far too much to stick around.

Jack has spent the years in the casinos of Las Nevadas, gambling his memories away. Theres no one left to stop him, so he gambles money from the safe. He hasnt emerged since the blast. He speaks about winning big, and how hes not quiting until he does. Jack will return to the casinos again and again, and this time theres no reason to leave.

Tommy moved far away. He has a little cottage, and a sheep named Mareep. He returns to his old home time and again, staying as long as he needs. Theres no one left to hurt him anymore. Then again, theres no one left to love him either. His friends look at him and see too many memories, too many reminders of that forgotten time. Tommy is alone again, but this time he's at peace.

Tubbo is alive, though we're not quite sure where. Tommy sees him from time to time, but their meetings are short and professional. They still care for eachother, as any brothers would, but they need time. Speaking about the past is far too painful, and theres not much else to speak of. Tubbo has his bees, and he'll sell honey to broken markets until theres no money left. Tubbo is no ones sidekick, but hes no ones friend either.

Technoblade is gone, but more than the others. They can tell. The revival book is still around, the others could come back, but not Techno. Techno died before the nuke, and though they might not understand it, the survivors know he is much farther away than anyone else.

The Dream SMP is over, but i hope we can all remember what it was. What it gave to kids like us, the community it fostered. I hope there will be something like this again. I really, really do. We had a helluva run, peace out.

exploding into a thousand tiny little bits actually the red team is soooo pack bonded right now. they r blood brothers they did not commit ritualistic sacrafices just to not latch onto each other for life and become soulmates forever. i can only imagine. like.

phil, baghera, and jaiden give the rest of the team (that are present and willing; mainly charlie, cellbit, and foolish) a crash course on how to preen wings in case another bird isn't there to help. phil gets real sad sometimes when helping jaiden or baghera so they help 'preen' in other ways (pulling chunks of dirt/blood out of his hair and ear feathers when they see them, insisting on including him (and cellbit) in a """manicure night""" (they are just scraping the dirt from under their fingernails with their other fingernails/sticks and using rocks to file).

charlie takes requests on which team to hack into (because his code nonsense lets him switch frequencies and infiltrate the other teams' calls very easily) so people can spy on their other people. phil often asks to know what missa is up to. cellbit obviously asks about roier, and sometimes uses charlie as a middleman to pass messages to his guapito. baghera asks him to check on the other frenchies and often shouts at them through his mic when they're getting on her nerves. if anyone dares bring up her friendship with bbh and why she never asks of him she gives them a facefull of BOLAS??!? bbh slander.

carre is (jokingly) borderline worshipped whenever he wakes up. it becomes an instant confidence boost and is oftentimes the only time you see the entire team trying to gain percentages or kill other teams.

they spill entirely too many secrets to each other too casually. they are going to end the two weeks and some of them will know more about some of them than their spouses do. day one cellbit was admitting to murder and basically admitted to being a cannibal. it only gets worse.

they mostly take getting killed in stride unless it's by a) tubbo b) bbh or c) if someone decides to do it over and over again. BOLAS??!? hatred is unlike normal hatred. if they hate you you will feel unsafe going into the wilderness because They Will Just Lurk There in a group and jump you for no reason other than pettiness. charlie slimecicle literally ran across an entire island to chase bbh with no food no water and Mid tools and armour. for like five minutes. out of blind rage and spite.

can you tell i love red team im obsessed with them they are going to know each other on such a deep and intrinsic level in two weeks their romantic partners are literally going to get jealous. like. Nobody Will Have With Them What They Have With Each Other. its all completely platonic but they are soul bound. theyre gonna look at their hands irl and see like 5 pink strings of fate like bruh

lets have a quick examination of c!allium off the top of my head

1: ranboo joins the server and is immediately heckled by dream

2: that same day he meets tommy and they have the famous exchange where tommy asks ranboo if he likes flowers (to rib him) and ranboo accidentally punches him trying to give it to him. this is cute on its own, but of course we Know that tommy loves flowers, that he covered his house in them, that he sung to the plants in l'manberg

3: and importantly, that he took the flower

4: tommy immediately taking ranboo under his wing and running off to Do A Prank with him. this is really important because this is tommy trying to go back to the way that things were Before. the way that he'd had fun with his family and what he did when he felt safe and secure. this is tommy being silly with a new person he might consider a friend, but it's Also him trying to reconnect with that happy Free feeling he'd had before

5: they'd made a bunker specifically to plan out their prank, and he'd put the allium that ranboo gave him into a chest hidden for safe keeping. And That Allium Survived. he kept it and it survived

6: when they're caught not because what they did was Actually out of line (griefing was an every day occurrence, even and Especially between l'manberg and dream's territory), tommy Deliberately Did Not Throw Ranboo Under The Bus.

he didn't take it seriously, he made fun of everyone because the situation was ridiculous, but he Never implicated ranboo. and in fact, he only started Admitting to the crime When Ranboo Was Being Implicated. he Deliberately Took The Fall For Him.

(and it's worth noting that the evidence that was used to tie to tommy to the crime in the first place were signs that Ranboo wrote).

7: and in return Ranboo Stood Up For Tommy. ranboo is a character defined by his conflict avoidance and lack of spine, But He Stood Up For Him. he admitted to being a part of it, and he pointed Out that tommy was taking the fall to try to protect him, and he did so Specifically to counter tommy being called selfish.

8: then in between the trial and exile day tommy opened up to ranboo, both about being afraid of his relationship with tubbo falling apart AND with his relationship with wilbur. admitting to having nightmares and admitting that this fear of losing tubbo is tied to having lost wilbur. this is something he'd never said out loud to anybody at this point, and it'd be Many Many more months until he'd open up about it to anybody else.

9: while there Were people who visited tommy in exile multiple times, ranboo was undeniably the most consistent (outside of ghostbur, until well. dream tried to kill him)

he visited him in person And he wrote to him regularly. dream saw this as a threat so explicitly that he tried to sabotage their writing, to which ranboo circumvented it.

he'd regularly talk to tommy and try to help him while he was breaking down. he's one of the only people on the entire server to have a full picture of what happened and it ate at him.

10: he was Also the first person after techno to find out that tommy was still Alive.

11: ranboo's "dream is the reason" being intrinsically tied to how he's Seen dream hurt tommy and rip him apart from his friends.

12: His Speech At The Green Festival. "why can't you guys just choose PEOPLE" not directed at tommy but to Defend Him. why didn't they defend him because he was their Friend? why did the politics Matter when they all knew what was happening was wrong? (of course, we know the answer to that. but ranboo wasn't there to see it. he didn't know)

13: ranboo being there at doomsday, despite everything he was there. I Think About It

14: Ranboo Being There At The Disc War Finale, Finally Putting Himself Between Tommy And Dream. Dream Specifically Looking At Him In A Crowd Of People. I Think About It I Think About It.

15: Tommy's Death, My Fucking God Tommy's Death. him finding the allium and realizing that tommy had kept it. him openly furious at the way the server treated him, how nobody saved him and how all of this could've been prevented if people had just Acted, if they'd Cared. everyone including himself.

chewing out sam for leaving him, sam talking to him bluntly about exile, I Think About It I Think About It I Think About It

16: ranboo and tubbo shadowing tommy after his revival. killing mobs for him, putting blocks under him while he's walking, watching to make sure that he's okay. Trying To Help Him Be Okay. doing therapy with him, talking with him. so afraid that he'll just disappear. "does he make you happy?" I think about it

17: tommy having a place in the mansion, even if he'd never moved in, he was supposed to be there

18: a major part of ranboo's struggle with his enderwalking not Just being about the fear of it happening at all, But The Realization That He Might've Hurt Tommy and how it absolutely Ate Him Up Inside

In Conclusion: if beeduo marriage hadn't happened I fully believe people would've started shipping c!ranboo and c!tommy and all of the discourse about rpf would've happened about them instead, and then years later tommy would've dropped his own actual rpf featuring his real self. this alternate timeline is way funnier

one of the wildest things ever in the dsmp fandom was how many people insisted that the syndicate were horrible, violent villains for asking c!tubbo to show them around snowchester because they had heard about the nukes and wanted to make sure that he wasn't going to use them for, in c!techno's words 'imperialism'.

like, we were supposed to believe that they were in the wrong for wanting to check out this weapon that could possibly destroy the world?? and so many people did think that!! what!!

I think especially when rewatching their argument during doomsday you really hear both of their sides and realize: “oh, oh if only” tommy is just kinda bad at articulating his point while techno literally refuses to even try and listen to it because as far as he sees it, it doesn’t matter.

in c!techno’s mind, c!tommy’s point doesn’t matter because it sympathizes with the people who have hurt him and gone against him multiple times. which is a valid stance. it just sucks that he refuses to really think about why tommy would want to be with L’manburg.

now, i shall now comment on c!tommy. he was in a position where really his only option had been to work with c!techno. but as soon as he was presented with another option he took it, why? because he realized he isn’t happy. do i think that he made a good decision? no, but i understand it. he didn’t want to betray techno, he just wasn’t happy. now, granted, we know as an audience that this decision won’t make him happy either, but he doesn’t. and as such he picks what is familiar and what has only failed to make him feel worthy once.

i also really love that there is this moment between them where tommy is unsure about destroying l’manburg and so techno says “you don’t have to help me” (not a direct quote but basically he says that). and when the betrayal happens in the community house he brings it up saying that perhaps he didn’t make himself clear, “when i said you don’t have to help me, i meant you could sit it out! not switch sides!” but here’s the thing. hadn’t, by that point, tommy already helped? like short of spawning the withers and attacking his former countrymen, he basically helped techno prepare for this attack. (of course help is a strong word but they did do most of it together) they got techno’s weapons and armor terrorizing the country along the way, they found and bred the dogs that would later make up the hound army, they did all sorts of things to prepare to attack l’manburg. tommy had already helped! so really what good does it mean if he were to “sit it out” he already helped you do most of the damage!

“i’m worst than everyone i didn’t want to be.” now THAT is a statement. a statement no one really talks about. when he was exiled he was compared to the country’s og founder turned terrorist and was upset by this, we can assume he definitely doesn’t want to be dream after everything and yet he says he’s worst than at least both of those people. you know i would love to ask him “how?” because how does he see himself as worst than an actual traitor terrorist that blew up the entire country and his own fucking abuser. makes you think

he even apologizes for betraying techno after admitting that he knows what he’s done and he hates himself for all that he’s done.

now, back to c!techno, before tumblr silences me, immediately following tommy’s betrayal c!dream (who we know had orchestrated this entire thing by blowing up the ch then blaming it on c!tommy) starts berating c!tubbo. and c!techno? who could use this distraction to escape? stays and even joins in. as much as i love c!bedrock bros, this why i loathe the c! part of it. because c!techno’s biggest flaw in this relationship is that he doesn’t see c!tommy or c!tubbo as kids. he sees them as adults or at least the equivalent of adults, which means he treats them the same way and he holds them to the same standards. he in a different stream comments that tommy had to have deserved exile because that is the consequences of his actions. that of course he deserves it after all the problems he’s caused. (unfortunately with the way this conversation is worded it’s hard to tell if the in character or ooc but still) which admittedly is both deserved also a flaw of every adult character on this server.

you know, actually, the more i watch the beginning of the bedrock bros arc- techno really lays it on heavy on them teaming up. like tommy is straight up walking away saying “no i’ll get my discs back myself” and techno keeps convincing him until it works. even saying they don’t need to be friends that it isn’t an option. “you’ll help me destroy the government” “i won’t help you destroy the government but you’ll- you’ll let me-“ “tell you what we’ll do some terrorism from where the government- you know what tommy we’ll work out the details on the way.” this was never going to work. tommy definitely didn’t want to go as far as techno wanted to go and that alone destined this friendship for failure.

to conclude, c!tommy is a traumatized character who absolutely refuses to deal with his issues until the worst possible time and then makes it everyone else’s problem. while c!techno struggles to see any pov outside of his own and presents their alliance under false pretenses and with soured feelings towards tommy. their friendship is one of tragedy as it was never going to work, but they do care about each other. and they will continue to until the server’s end.

Hi,

do you think that c!Tommy threatened Dream with Sprit's remains because he values his discs more than anything else (to the point where he hesitated when he had to choose between two inanimate objects and his best friend) and he assumed that Dream would have the same values or something along those lines?

Cuz like if Tommy would just give up the discs then a lot of stuff would not even need to happen but unlike Dream (who gave up Spirit's leather) Tommy was unable to do that for the longest time.

I mean yes? Kinda. But also attachments and blackmail are very effective on the server and whole reason Tommy traded for Spirit in the first place. Though there is probably an element of parallelism or copying Dream with threatening to burn Spirit. What’s interesting is I think he would have actually given in and not rebelled against the black mail, except he realized it would never stop. Tommy isn’t going to use an attachment like he is, he’d use that blackmail to make Dream his personal slave (it’s not like he hasn’t don’t that before) so Dream likely realized either he can give up now and potentially lose Spirit or somewhere down the line after doing many things be forced by Tommy to do something that goes too far and he gives up Spirit anyways. At which point it’d be the same result either way, one just saving him much more humiliation amongst other things. Additionally, with George recently being griefed and repeatedly tried to be murdered it highlights his weakness. He can have all the armor and skill in the game but he’d still be vulnerable because of his attachments and that’s dangerous. Not just for him but anyone that he could be forced to turn against as well.

In fact, I think Dream understands attachments and what people would be willing to do for them and that’s why he took the discs, knowing that it would work…

Anyways, there is likely the thought in Tommy’s mind that other people would also do just about anything for their attachments and had that expectation going into his blackmailing of Dream. That short of getting him to murder George, Dream is his bitch. So I can imagine his shock at how Dream just suddenly denies it and says he only cares about the discs. Because just barely short on letting Tubbo die he’d do anything including die for his discs.

Now what’s funny or interesting that I just thought about, is obviously by denying he has any attachments he is protecting his attachments from being used against him. But he also says he only cares about the discs which if we consider Tommy the biggest threat to using oh I don’t know Spirit against him, then having the discs aka leverage over Tommy to stop that is really the only way. So in a backwards kinda way he actually is showing just how much he cares by having an obsession with the discs. By saying ‘burn Spirit I don’t care I’m going after you discs.’ He swapped the focus but is actually protecting Spirit more than if he gave in, because with the discs he can get Spirit. Once again highlighting the irony of that speech, because the only one who’s gonna yell passionately about having no attachments is a man with lots of attachments. The kid saying “sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me” is hurt by those words but trying not to be. Someone actually not hurt would just ignore them…. Maybe that makes sense… I’m sleepy so I feel like this is just rambling but, yea I like where your heads at, pretty on the mark I’d say…

Headcannon that C!Tommy learned to knit and / or crochet from both Phil and Techno when they would take time to sit down and make little silly things like scarves and stuff. Tommy then went on to use this as a coping mechanism, so now whenever he is stressed, he makes something and then tosses it into a closet chalked full of a bunch of other things he's knitted.

Also, he's made everyone in the server (which he trusts or thinks is cool) something to wear.

Wilbur has only a small friendship bracelet from Tommy because knowing Wilbur, he wouldn't take the sentiment seriously and would just brush it off- that and Tommy doesn't fully trust Wilbur

Tubbo has a yellow cardigan that took Tommy a total of two days full of nonstop knitting.

Phil has a bucket hat (which took Tommy a while to figure out because of how its structured.)

Techno has a crochet apple.

And so on.

Tips For Writing C!TommyInnit, From A Loser With Brainrot

Tommy is LOUD. Whether he's angry or excited or playing around, he's usually yelling. He is not aware of how loud he is unless he's specifically raising his voice to overpower the conversation (which he usually only does when he's angry at someone/thing, or to make a point). He's only quieter when he's serious, at peace, or very very sad

TOMMY IS SMART!!! He thinks things through when he has time to do so. He is strategic and considers other people's behaviors when he plans something out (ex building the tower overlooking the prison slowly, so Sam didn't get as suspicious, and making a point to only inhabit it when it was dark to be less noticed). Tommy knows how people act/think if he's familiar with them, and he uses that to his advantage.

However, Tommy's very impulsive, and his emotions overrun his brains very often. This happens the most when he's angry or scared.

Tommy lets people take pity on him 80% of the time. Unless it's a serious situation and he's trying to prove himself, (ex Logstedshire) he LOVES free shit and he very easily falls into the "oh poor little TommyInnit, he has no family to his name and is dirty and cold, won't you spare some netherite for his poor soul?" narrative.

Tommy is childish. He bickers over things that don't really matter and is the epitome of "he started it!!" when he gets in trouble. He also constantly nags at people until they cave to get what he wants. I have no idea how CC!Tommy plays being a youngest sibling SO WELL since he's an only child but that is exactly who C!Tommy is

Tommy is not brave. He hides behind people to avoid danger and he runs away from conflict if he can. The times where this didn't happen (Exile, Final Disc Confrontation, November 16th) were because he was backed into a corner, literally or figuratively, and was forced to fight back.

Tommy is not very private UNLESS it concerns his past trauma. He will talk about what he's doing, every thought in his head, and what he thinks of everything he sees, UNLESS it's recounting what happened to him. Getting information like that from the source is like pulling teeth, even for people he trusts completely. The reasoning for this (best as I can tell anyway) is that he simply just doesn't want to relive it.

Tommy has a very black and white way of thinking about his allies. If someone helps his enemy, they are his enemy too. He doesn't really care about personal motivations or reasonings unless they're close to him (Tubbo) and he does not forgive easily.

However, he also recognizes power. When Tommy ran from Logstedshire, he ran to the person who killed his best friend because he knew Technoblade was very powerful against Dream. Another example is when he ran to Phil when Dream escaped prison and went after him, even though Phil destroyed L'manburg WITH Dream AND killed Wilbur, two things that Tommy vehemently hates him for. Tommy seemed to not be thinking very clearly when either of these events happened, so this may have been a purely impulsive decision made out of fear.

Tommy squirrels away his riches. He only breaks into his ender chest when he really needs the resources, ie diamond armor and weapons for a showdown. He actually has quite a lot of diamonds and gold if I recall correctly, but he still resorts to stone/iron tools and no armor in his day to day.

Kind of related to above, Tommy keeps momentos of people he cares about in his ender chest, where no one can reach them but him. He is terrified of losing these things because they remind him of when times were good, and he had people he loved. (This was actually said by him, I just don't remember the stream sorry ;;w;;)

Tommy is very stubborn. He doesn't cooperate very often and views the way he does things as the best way. The only time to my memory that he defaulted to someone else was when Wilbur was alive (L'manburg, Pogtopia)

Tommy likes maintaining his surroundings. This includes harvesting crops and replacing them, patching up creeper holes, and replacing missing blocks from his house or the Prime Path. He does these things without anyone telling him to, on his "down time" if you will, and doesn't really call attention to it

TOMMY LOVES ANIMALS. He doesn't like killing them and tries to eat carrots instead of killing for meat (although he doesn't seem to have qualms with eating meat that other people give him)

Tommy has a soft spot for kids/small creatures. He tried very hard to hate Michael because he was bitter about Ranboo and Tubbo's friendship but he broke almost instantly if I remember correctly. He fawns over "cute" things and gets thoroughly distracted from whatever he was doing if he notices a baby chicken or something

Tommy is rarely still. He almost always is doing something with his hands (ie building, chopping trees, etc) if he's in conversation with someone. The only times where he actually sits down and stops is when he's watching the sunset on his bench, or having a self reflection moment/processing heavy information.

Got punched in the face by sapnap during the war and it knocked out a tooth, so he has a very slight lisp. He also likes to whistle through it

His boots are scuffed in the front, so his toes stick out a little.

Wilbur taught Tubbo how to shave, but he still does it really poorly because he wasn’t paying attention. The whole time he was freaking out because he didn’t know how to act around Wilbur yet, especially in a one on one scenario

He likes to do shadow puppets and things. They also help him fall asleep, so Tommy will (very badly) put shows on for him, and vice versa.

Since he’s the main material gatherer for L’manburg, he has to go mining a lot. He’s constantly covered in grime from it.

Plays the banjo sometimes!

He’s really proud of the L’manburg space program, and is constantly thinking up new ideas. That’s where he gets his first redstone/engineering experience!

One time he was helping prepare the soup at a campfire, and burnt 2 of his fingers really bad. Most of the L’manburg war they’re bandaged up, so he has trouble using bows.

Whenever Tommy would wanna do stupid stuff, he was always on lookout duty. He liked to pretend he was a spy on a mission. Was never the same in Manburg.

He’s still a little salty about Tommy stealing his blaze rods to start a drug empire
