Song is a parody of "every baby needs a da-da-daddy" by marilyn monroe for, as usual, no reason in particular. (Tbh I dont rly recommend this song, has a lot of really dated and weird undertones)

Report #26082020 - Drawing a Blank

Carlos Luna, regarding the development of a webcomic he worked on for a month.

Decided to do another one! This one is a bit longer than the previous one, but I still enjoyed writing it. Let me know what y'all think and I'll try to make more stuff in this universe!

REPORT BEGINS.

I know the pandemic has been pretty tough on all of us, and I know we all deal with it in various ways, hell, I even taught myself how to draw just because I was bored. But whatever he did, I don’t think it was out of boredom.

I should start at the beginning, if I learned anything from him during the time we made the comic, it’s how to properly tell a story. I got laid off of my job when the pandemic first hit, I was a barber, and then I found myself in serious need of one when the days turned into weeks turned into months. I needed something to do with my hands, and I wasn’t much of a baker, nor did I have an amazing oven, so sourdough wasn’t an option. I landed on drawing. I began with some pencils and papers, some basic YouTube videos, and I was off, just drawing like nobody’s business.

I posted it online. It got a nice amount of engagement, so I decided to do more, which got popular, and I just continued. That was when he messaged me. I don’t know his actual name, but his username was MyOwnWorld. Seemed like he wrote short stories and posted them online, I read a couple, and they were admittedly pretty good. He had such a way of describing the views of the characters, almost like he could see through their eyes and into the world he had created. The reason why he had messaged me was because he wanted to work with me. He explained that he was a fan of my work, and the way I drew perfectly matched his characters, and because he apparently couldn’t draw, he wanted me “to bring the characters to life”. I said thank you, but I wasn’t really doing this as a job, more of a hobby, I didn’t even have a drawing tablet. He said it was no problem and that he would send one to me if it meant we could work together.

I’m obviously never going to say no to getting free things, so I agreed. He said great, asked if I had a P.O. box, which I just made, and told me it would be a couple of days. He then gave me a rough outline of the story we were going to work on. It would be about this guy who has always felt alone. One day, he grows wings and discovers that there are hundreds out there just like him, and he tries to learn how to live amongst them. I told him that I liked it, but it felt a little bare bones. He told me not to worry, that soon he “would see the details”. This gave me a little pause, but I assumed he was just kinda playing up the mysterious writer vibe.

The tablet came in, and when I told him, MyOwnWorld gave me a description of what exactly panel should look like, in almost vivid detail. I agreed and began drawing, sending him a sketch to make sure that it was what he wanted, he would make notes, I would fix it until he said it was good, and then I finished the drawing. It probably wasn’t how normal webcomics are made, but it worked for the both of us, so I just kept at our routine. I remember one time I told him I was done and he told me that he “could feel it” and that it “felt just right”. Again I just ignored it and continued. Eventually we got the first couple of instalments done, so we posted them online. The entire internet seemed to love it, as it pretty much blew up. He was really happy that so many people were seeing it, telling me that “it was just how he imagined it”.

A couple days later, as I was working on a sketch for the next volume, I got a message from MyOwnWorld again. I assumed it was just more details for the comic, but when I read it my heart almost sank. He told me I was no longer needed. I didn’t really realize it, but I was actually having fun drawing, making this webcomic and being able to show it to so many. I almost begged him to let me continue, at least let the story end at a satisfying spot and not just in the middle. He told me that I misunderstood. He didn’t need me. Apparently, I had helped him out enough by showing everyone his story. I know he wrote the webcomic, but looking back, I don’t think he meant “his story” as in that he wrote it. I asked him what he meant, and that’s when he sent the picture.

I know what people can do with photoshop these days, but this wasn’t photoshop, I just know it wasn’t. The photo he sent me was of who I could only assume to be himself, standing in the bathroom. The walls behind him were bloody and so was the sink under the mirror. The hands that gripped his phone had blood and other gore all over it, and I could see that on his back, were a pair of wings. Not wings with feathers, fleshy, bloody wings that looked like a bat. Looking at it for too long made me feel sick, but I could see the veins through the parts of the wings where the flesh was thin enough for light to pass through, and despite it being a picture, I could tell they were pumping blood.

I reacted in the way you’d probably expect, in horror and shock, asking him what the hell happened and why the hell he would show me something like that. He never responded. He never even deleted the photo, the messages, or the account. He just left. I tried contacting the police, but they just said it was probably nothing, just a prank that he was pulling on me. I had no one else to really turn to. I didn’t want to expose the fans to all of this, and my own family didn’t really get the whole drawing thing in the first place. I’ve attached screenshots of the messages and the photo itself. Just be warned when you do open it, as I know my description barely covers what it actually looks like. Sometimes I do wish to hear from him again, not even to get answers, just to be sure he’s okay.

Mr. Luna was right. I’m truly glad I’m reading this report early in the day before lunch, as I’m pretty sure I would be seeing my lunch again if I saw it after. While this image was up on the original site, the new one apparently has a “no gore” rule, which if it means that more people don’t have to look at it, then I’m fine with it. I did run it through a photoshop detector however, and worryingly it came back that there were no digital enhancements used at all.

The screenshots that were attached did match what Mr. Luca told us, although it would be possible for those to be faked instead. I do doubt that it was faked, however, considering the evidence of the photo, as well as the abandoned MyOwnWorld account that I was able to find online. The writing that was posted on there is extremely detailed, as well as hauntingly beautiful. What should be of interest is the last post, which was dated the 24th of August 2020. It reads:

“Thank you everyone for your support with the comic. However, some personal events have come to my attention and thus I will need to leave. I hope to be working on something bigger one day, something to really let me be able to spread my wings and fly.”

“Mmhmm…” It came out slow and a little high pitched as you let out the smoke, the hit weaker but still serving to further your buzz. “Aces...” You sighed contently, shifting your hands slightly against his belly just to feel his skin against yours only to also accidentally shift your hips and send another shock through your nerves, which made a sound that could only be described as a whimper slip from your lips.

He hummed happily at the sound as his free hand held your hip and guided it in a slow grind, causing a shiver to rush its way through you as you clenched around him. The only indication that this was affecting him the same it was you was the way his jaw clenched, and his eyelids slipped further down over his bloodshot eyes, well that and the pulse his cock gave that your body responded to by clenching again.

“Unfair.” You admonished through your grin.

His head was tilted back against the couch as he looked down at you, looking all too proud of himself. “All’s fair in love and weed.” He joked, almost sending you both back into giggles.

Rolling your eyes, you brought the joint back to your lips and took another slow drag, letting it settle for a moment, then moved one delicate hand from where it rested against his belly to hold his cheek. His eyes rolled shut as he leaned into your touch, looking like it felt better than the drug coursing through your systems, better than being buried so deep inside you that the head of his cock was brushing your cervix.

He didn’t open his eyes again till you started to lean in, and even then, they were barely open, too busy watching your soft lips get closer, closer than his had been before.

Blowing out gently you watched as the smoke curled out of you and into him, looking like some kind of magic being passed between you, little whisps curling up into his hair, giving him the appearance of something mystical.

Once your lungs were emptied of the smoke you pressed your forehead to his, eyes open just enough to see his face as he held it for a second, then let it curl from his lips, a slow smirk finding his lips, reminding you of a dragon in human form.

With the way your brain was buzzing you hadn’t even really noticed how he was guiding your hips once more into a slow grind, not till the rolling waves of pleasure started to come in, quickly causing the muscles in your lower belly to tighten with an encroaching orgasm.

“God, Princess…So good for me…” He whispered watching you through half lidden eyes as you whimpered and sighed.

Not exactly SNS but I just think it's funny how Naruto liked Sakura for literally his entire life (from the beginning of Naruto to the end of Naruto Shippuden) and they kinda just randomly stuck him with Hinata with no real closure or end to the Naruto liking Sakura thing. Its so wishy washy and sudden that even if you were someone who liked Naruto and Hinata together, you wouldn't be quite satisfied with.

If Kishimoto was gonna make such a bad ending and continued to ruin his legacy with Boruto he should've left the ending of Naruto open ended. OR, hear me out, made SNS canon, 2 middle fingers up to the haters and fall of the face of the earth, just never seen again. Maybe on a private island with the loads of money he made from Naruto.

Since when did this development happen which I failed to watch??? Where are the clues??? I think, Anon, You must start to READ THE MANGA instead of watching filler stuffs. 

Movies, OVAS, Filler Episodes are not canon.... In the movies, SP tried to portray a different Sakura (a pleasant Sakura) from how Kishimoto originally designed her (A total Ass-Hole)... Kishimoto had nothing to do with any of those fillers. 

I’ll tell you one thing..... There are few drawing errors, unresolved plotlines and minor plot holes in this story. Yes, I agree with it. But plot wise.... Kishimoto gave every characters a reason for why they do what they do... It’s not random, it’s not meaningless or anything. NaruSaku bond is one such. 

Naruto never loved her.... Not in the beginning.... DEFINITELY NOT TILL THE ENDING. I think I wrote 2 big posts with all the valid panels to make sure of that. [Post 1] and [Post 2]. In Both of these posts, I focused only on NS but it will blatantly give you SNS vibes throughout.... Because NS bond was built upon the foundation of a 3rd person called Sasuke. Without Sasuke, NS is nothing.

Again I repeat..... NS is a Red Herring Bond in Naruto series to mask Naruto’s feelings for Sasuke. For Example, Say you have a ‘Prophesized Saviour’ thing in a TV series.... All the Prophesies will be fulfilled by Character A which will be blatantly evident to our eyes and will make you believe that Character A was indeed the ‘One’.... But the real ‘Prophesized One’ will be hiding some where else... Only very perceptive readers who picks up the clues and patterns of the author can find the real one.... NS is something very similar to that... 

Even if Naruto superficially "liked" her... It was all over the moment he Kissed Sasuke accidentally. And his crush was definitely over the moment he tried to kiss Sakura in Chapter 3. It's one of the fakest bond in Narutoverse where both the parties involved have no interest in each other.... Not in 'that way'...

Here's the thing, Anime knew about SNS bond because they are the one who converts picture into a visual media, they look for all hints thoroughly and know almost everything... It’s because of this very reason, they desperately add lots of extra scenes between Naruto and Sakura. If Naruto goes totally Lovey Dovey about Sakura in a filler... Then it means Naruto is going to be angsty about Sasuke in the Canon episodes.

Just to make Naruto look like an hetero boy, Anime added tons of extra scenes..... In order to reduce Naruto's obvious Gayness.....

In the Manga, he never once claimed, he loved her. This is all Anime's doing.

They kinda just randomly stuck him with Hinata with no real closure or end to the Naruto liking Sakura thing.

What about that time Naruto blatantly rejected her proposal by recalling the moment she said, “I want your acknowledgement, Sasuke-kun”????.... So, Naruto knew that she loved Sasuke from the day Team 7 was formed and that’s why he rejected her outright. What more closure do you expect????  He was masking his feelings for Sasuke and he was lying to himself by flirting with Sakura because wanted to stay in that Closet forever. You should read those attached posts to understand what I am saying.

As for that SNS becoming Canon.... This world is not ready for it. Expecting such an ending is very futile, imo.

HE ALWAYS INTENDED TO GO FOR AN OPEN ENDING.... 

Especially he knew the Ending while he was drawing the Pain Arc.... And this is 2009 we are talking about.

This is one of the Official Commentary from Kishimoto which he used to mention in every volume of Naruto Manga. This piece is from Volume 47. I mean right after Naruto lands in Konoha (in Pain Arc) to find it has been reduced to a Dry Desert. 

So.... At this point Kishimoto knew whom he was gonna pair Naruto with. And it’s not surprising that he brought Hinata’s confession out of nowhere, in this Arc, only to make her yeeted out in the very same chapter. 

Also, it’s funny that he used the word, “The general script guides are already agreed until the end of the series”..... 

Agreed with whom???? He is the story writer after all.... So, his editors had a say in the script. Even if his Editors did had a say, why couldn’t they make Kishi to develop NH into another MinaKushi instead of making Neji into a Pathetic Love Broker and some disturbing horny reference???? Why couldn’t they stop Kishi to draw Under the Bridge scene in a different way??? Why couldn’t they force Kishi to develop SS in a positive way??? So, Kaguya shit wasn’t planned at this time, eh???? 

Hilariously after this arc, 

Naruto ignored Hinata & her confession (NH is ignored).... 

Sasuke stabbed Karin (SK is crushed here).... 

Naruto blatantly rejected Sakura’s confession... (NS is officially buried here).... 

Sasuke tried to kill Sakura twice as a counter attack (SS became a butt-end of a Joke here).... 

Whereas, Sasuke stopped his rampage and Naruto confessed to Sasuke and also he promised to die with him together (like some star-crossed lovers)....... 

Kishimoto mercilessly destroyed/ignored every other ships after the Pain Arc and kept only the SNS bond intact even though he knew the ending. 

I was like, “Are you guys fucking kidding me??????”

Added to this, Kishimoto always knew the ending he wanted to achieve right after he drew VoTE1. Part 2 of the Manga is all about to reach that ending in a convincing way.  

The following is the interview excerpt from 2006 about the Ending he envisioned.

Again, in 2015, he references the interview he gave back in 2006 and reveals what was the ending he really envisioned....

And his envisioned ending is to make Naruto and Sasuke to reconcile with each other.

Where is Sakura and Hinata in any of this???? 

Now people will pull up the “Kishimoto don’t know how to write Romance” card.... But that’s not true at all.... And I have some Official Receipts here.... LOL...

In Chapter 498, We got this short and cute Love Story...

The following panels are from Chapter 511.... This is almost 80 chapters after Pain Arc. YahiKonan is an unneeded and unnecessary ship, from Narrative POV. It didn’t affect the story in any way. And yet he went onto convey a cute romance in 3 panels.

And he also gave a very good closure to DanTsunade in the War Arc... Just developed a bit about ShikaTema since it was already well-developed....

Don’t you find this weird??? Like, After Pain Arc, he introduced 2 short love stories.... But didn’t give 2 fucks about developing a healthy love story for his own Main Characters????

Instead he found million different ways to mock Hinata and Sakura in an obvious and hilarious ways. I am going to talk only about Hinata mockery here. 

For Example.... 

Mockery No. 1

Hinata is gleefully watching her beloved “Naruto-Kun” getting hugged by another Girl..... Like.... Is this necessary??? When Hinata literally gave her life to protect Naruto (Which she dramatically failed anyway), why make Sakura to hug him??? And make Hinata watch them right under their panel???? Hinata’s smile is so pure and precious.... isn’t it???

This scene is also another way to mock Sakura as well... Which I will explain in some other post...  [[Don’t assume that this is some Romantic NaruS*k* moment...]]

But Hinata was horribly ridiculed here.... 

Mockery No. 2

We already knew Naruto’s impression about Hinata in Part 1. 

Naruto finds her “Weird”....

And In Chapter 504,

Kushina POINTEDLY & SPECIFICALLY asked Naruto to not look for a “Weird One”..... I checked the Japanese Raws and I heard the word pronounced here... Both are same, just in case if you think that it’s a translation error.

Why is Kishi mocking NH again if he knew who Naruto was gonna end up with???? 

So, this Kishimoto don’t know how to write Romance is all some bullshit. If he can develop some unnecessary ship like YahiKonan... He could’ve did a lot better for his Main Characters. 

Now, all that’s left is to say is, “Oh, Kishimoto don’t know how to write Female Characters.... He is a Misogynist”

And I’d suggest you to read Chapter 509, 510, 511 where Konan fought with the main villain of the story and almost killed him using her 600 Billion paper bombs. And then there is Tsunade vs Madara fight.... every Kages were knocked down and she was the only one who desperately tried to save him. And then during chapters 501, 502, 503 we see Kushina’s sacrifice to save Naruto and the Village.

Am not going to say.... All these chapters are some GREATEST FEMINIST LITERATURE or something... But, he did gave some strong, resilient, selfless, have a strong conviction oriented women after the Pain Arc.... Which he intentionally failed to do for Sakura and Hinata.

Anyways... What we can understand so far is that Kishimoto can write good Female Characters, he can write an excellent Romance.... He knew the general script of how it’s going to end and yet he intentionally failed to give any scope for SS or NH or NS or SK..... He never made the boys to reciprocate or to give a damn about any of those girls’ advance while SNS was the only one to remain intact.

So, What was Kishimoto planning anyway???? He can neither put N and S together nor did he attempted to give anything for other ships!!! Where is this Manga going and what was his End Game???

Here comes that shitty Last Movie announcement in December 2012.... [Link]

At this time, Naruto Manga was at Chapter 596 or 597 where Kakashi found out the Man behind that Mask was Obito all along. And four months down the line in April 2013, in Chapter 613 or 614, we get Neji’s death. Still no hint of Kaguya Nonsense. Naruto just held Hinata’s hands with no romantic intention from his side whereas Hinata was getting ready to be hornily pounded in front of Neji’s dead body.

All this means, Boruto shit sequel hasn’t been planned. Otherwise Kishimoto could’ve easily introduced Kaguya plotline at this time.

So, no matter how some Movie announcement was happening from SP’s side, Kishi didn’t bother to develop any of the Hetero couples in this series. He was very content with his envisioned ending all along. Meanwhile he gave a good amount of Fanservice to all other ships. Like letting Karin hug Sasuke, Sasuke holding Sakura, Naruto calling Sakura as his Girl Friend, Sakura giving Lip to Lip CPR to Naruto.... But he never consolidated any ships. 

Mockery No. 3

I mean it’s confusing.... He knew who Naruto was gonna end up with.... He made Naruto “hold” her hands at the expense of Neji’s death and right after that, he did this...

This is another mockery from Kishimoto.... Like Why???? The purpose of this scene is to make Naruto look cool before his Dad.... But he could’ve easily pointed out that Hinata was his Girlfriend. 

Mockery No. 4

As you can see Hinata-Sama was desperately trying to save her Naruto-kun but failing so spectacularly.... What a Fun Stuff!!!

Mockery No. 5

This is just 9 chapters before the Manga was about to be over... That is literally 2 Months before this Saga was going to be completed.... This is the perfect place for Naruto to confess the Girl he found to be similar to Kushina.... NaruS*k*s shamelessly claim Sakura as Kushina Personified.... Then why couldn’t Naruto say it out loud??? If not Sakura, why not Kishi made Naruto to say. “I found Hinata”.... Because at this time, That Abominated Last Movie was already made and was waiting for a release. It doesn’t hurt to consolidate NH here, you see.

The Point is.... Why is he mocking his Titular Character’s ship which was decided from the Pain Arc???? Especially after that, he wrote 2 short and cute Love stories that involved another pair. He could’ve easily made NH into another MinaKushi and be done with it. 

Even till the very end, he deliberately didn’t validate any ships even though he had ample time to do it. Ample time is the understatement to be honest.... Pain Arc happened in 2009.... And the Manga ended in 2014. 

That Guy had 5 whole years to do it.... He could’ve added as little as 6 panels to show Naruto and Hinata have some romantic moments in all those 5 years.. And yet he intentionally didn’t. 

So, Yeah....

Kishimoto had an ending in his mind right after drawing VoTE1.... Part 2 was all about how Naruto reconciling with Sasuke.

And in every Arc, Naruto’s desperation and obsession to save Sasuke was very Obvious.

In the Gaara Retrieval Arc, Naruto and Sakura were literally discussing about “How to save Sasuke?”....

In the Sasuke-Sai Arc, Well... You know what happened....

In the Kakuzu-Hidan Arc, Naruto was developing a new jutsu called Sasuke-Shuriken... Ooops... Sorry.... Rasen-Shuriken.... by constantly thinking about him even under the Shooting stars.

In the Itachi pursuit arc... Well... Again, he brought 2 teams to pursue Sasuke and bring him back to the Village....

In the Pain Arc, Naruto may not have thought about Sasuke... But here’s the plot twist... Kishimoto designed that Entire Arc to make Naruto understand Sasuke’s Pain.... He even killed Jiraiya for that exact same reason. And also to make Naruto into a forgivable person so that in the end, Naruto could easily forgive Sasuke. He even confessed this in an Interview.

“I wanted one of the themes of the end to be Naruto forgiving Sasuke.... I wanted to make sure the intervening story (Pain Arc) lead naturally to that in a realistic way to make it plausible.... Because if one minute they’re fighting and then ‘Oh, I forgive you!’ would be weird.”

And this panel consolidates it...

So, an entire arc was dedicated to the Protagonist in order to understand the feelings of his Deuteragonist.... Only for Naruto to confess these feelings to Sasuke in the very next Arc by ignoring a proposal from the girl and rejecting another proposal... Such a dedication for making N understands S.... Why couldn’t he put 0.5% of this dedication to his Titular Character’s ‘Supposed’ Love Interest???

In the Kage Summit Arc, Naruto declared his feelings in the most dramatic way (with romantic undertones) that he will bear the burdens of Sasuke and die with him together.

In the Final Arc, Naruto reconciled with Sasuke.

All of this clearly shows that he planned to end the Manga open ended and let the Last Movie handle the romance part of Naruto so that he could mockingly call the movie as Canon. Because, in this way, he get the ending he always wanted in his own Manga and the Movie team can have their own ending and call it as Canon. Best of both worlds. Just like how SP made many people believe that Naruto loved Sakura by spamming us with filler bullshit and made a fool out of everyone.

But since, SP decided to go for a Sequel, Kishi had to introduce Kaguya crap out of nowhere at around Chapter 646 and he nerfed Madara like a clown and ended up drawing Chapter 700 as a Prologue for Boruto Manga by making everyone marry and have kids.... Otherwise he would’ve made Chapter 700 as to how Naruto became an Hokage.

Just to finish this off,

Kishimoto had no obligation or necessity to write a story about two boys finding Love in each other. HE ABSOLUTELY DON’T NEED TO. And yet he did.

After the Pain Arc, he could’ve easily wrapped his ‘Boy’s Love’ Element and started to go ‘Dude Bruhhhhh’ and focus only on the story. All the while he could’ve made those boys develop a Nice Relationship with those girls. This would have given a Happy Hetero ending in a traditional sense.

But all he did was to intentionally deride Sakura and Hinata at every given chance especially in the War Arc and made those boys to remain indifferent to their romantic Advances.

I don’t know how much he must have fought with his editors to reach his envisioned ending by not giving any content for SS and NH.... Like, Don’t you think, there wasn’t one person from the Manga editing team would have questioned, “Why do you have to kill Neji to bring Naruto and Hinata together and right after that he forgot about her completely??? You could’ve easily made it so much better!!”.... He himself acknowledged that there is a pressure from the Management regarding Boruto series and we don’t know the extent of the pressure he had faced...

He kept his ending in his heart all throughout these years and he gave all out to reach that destination despite facing lot of pressure from the management. I could see his desperate efforts throughout the Manga and it shows.

He must have planned for the Open Ending for as long as he can... Even after the Last Movie announcement.... But because of the sequel, he must have decided to keep all the 699 chapters for himself and let that 700 as a prologue for Next Generation series. Even in the NextGen series, he never stopped mocking NH and SS.

We can either stop at Chapter 699/698 (Phase 1) or we can go ahead and read Boruto Manga to find that ‘There’s no NH or SS in any of this’ and find some faint happiness (Phase 2). It’s up to us.

I was in Phase 1 for very long and moved onto Phase 2 and I am no longer Bitter. Because I got what I wanted from this SNS bond... that is for them to Be Soulmates.

Point me any other Daring Shounen Mangakas who wrote a bond where 2 Boys find Love in each other and almost kept them as the ‘De Facto’ Couple for 99.9% of the Manga.... Show me and I’ll start to get bitter about Kishimoto... Until then, I have no issues and I understand why he did what he did because of his sincere efforts.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT DAISUGA AND CANON MOMENTS

Let’s appreciate these two for leading the team to the nationals (long post ahead)

1. Their goals and hard work for the team:

They’re always shown together planning for the team. When Asahi stopped playing volleyball, Noya got suspended, former coach Ukai stopped coaching. I felt bad for these two, they went through hard times as their captain and vice captain it’s their obligation to unite and guide the team. During their first year and second year they were used to failure and called flightless crows. Their expectations crumpled but they did not give up. It’s Daichi and Suga’s job to bring back the name of Karasuno to the nationals with the help of coach Ukai and Takeda, finally they made it to nationals, that’s why their former captain was so proud of them because they followed his words. When they didn't have their coach yet, they behaved as Karasuno’s temporary coaches (thank goodness Takeda’s an angel). Daichi was shown coaching the team in the first few episodes and Suga helped Tanaka bond Kageyama and Hinata. Suga questioned Daichi’s plan about the weird duo (Daichi’s a matchmaker) but after what Daichi said he helped the two bond and honed their skills.

In the HQ light novel “Melancholy of the third year student”, Asahi stated “with Sawamura leading the team and Sugawara taking care of the members, what could i possibly do to contribute” he witnessed Daichi and Suga walking together in the hallway; Asahi was impressed because of their dedication to guide the team to the nationals despite they’re in college prep class still they gave their best in guiding the team. Tanaka also acknowledged his senpais hard work that’s why he extremely respects his senpais, he was always there supporting the two. Coach Ukai madly respects Suga because he gave his setter position to Kageyama for the sake of the team and Daichi because he’s the best in motivating the team. 

2. They know each other so well: 

Daichi has this proud mode when he talks about Suga. When he told the team that Suga’s an experienced setter he had this “Yes that’s my amazing setter” face and when Suga did that amazing spike he jumped like a kid. In the HQ light novel “Sugawara’s decision” this happened during the first training camp. Suga was anxious to tell Daichi of his plan to give his setter position to Kageyama. When Suga finally told Ukai about his decision, Daichi and Asahi overheard their conversation and promised to win any match as much as they can. When Suga stated “I think in order to win, the person we need right now is Kageyama” Daichi and Asahi expressed their concern because the three promised to step on the court together (i get so emotional when the 3rd yrs play together). Daichi was worried and he told Suga that they can do something about it. THIS IS ACTUALLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE HQ LNs because of what Suga thought after their discussion “He was glad to have sawamura who accepted him the way he is, as his teammate” AND I FUCKIN LOST IT HQ LN SHOULD BE ANIMATED. Daichi supported Suga’s decision for the team, “Daichi was very certain of Suga who had been with him for the past 3 years”, he even stopped Tanaka from interrupting Suga’s monologue telling him to listen. 

Remember when Ukai announced the first lineup for dateko vs karasuno match and the shot was focused to Suga and back to Daichi; you can see Daichi did this weird eye thing glancing at Suga. Daichi’s proud moments of Suga were “I think you’ve revived too Suga” and “I’m glad you still want to fight” when he told Daichi “I do wish my tosses could’ve played a part in the victory”. When Asahi and Noya stopped coming to the team, the only members left were Suga, Daichi and the 2nd years. Suga also took the blame and Daichi was there for him. He was shown secretly listening to Yamaguchi and Suga’s conversation about the mop (and comforted him that he shouldn't blame himself. I’m kinda disappointed they didn't include this in the anime). These panels show their trust and respect for each other.

He cant even dare to hurt Suga (but lets Suga punch him anytime) and he knows when Suga goes to overthinking mode. Also Suga knows Daichi so well i think i’m gonna cry. Scolding Daichi when he was not vocal during the game; Suga’s known for being the only one who can lecture Daichi. When Daichi told Suga and Asahi that it’s better to hand over the team to the 2nd yrs, Suga knew Daichi didn't mean that; Daichi felt hopeless because they lost again. He knew Daichi wanted to stay and play volleyball and step on the orange court. 

He’s also used to Daichi’s stern mode. Daichi was also shown being the one who can keep Suga in control like “Suga please calm down”. Their relationship isn’t fully conveyed in the anime but i’m thankful that creators created drama cds, light novels, extras, spin-offs and haikyuu stage play to let us know more about the characters.

 3. The team parents: 

They always discuss about their team members like Suga asking Daichi about Kageyama and Hinata (kagehina bond ep) and Tsukishima. In the haikyuu drama cds “what if karasuno’s manager isn’t shimizu kiyoko” and “the reason behind the t-shirts” they were worried about entrusting the manager’s job to Tanaka, Noya and Hinata. When the team was hungry because Kiyoko wasn’t there, Suga told Daichi to take action so he assigned the weird duo to buy foods for the team and they were the ones who planned for the names of the shirts with the help of Noya, Kiyoko was pissed at the two because they were busy thinking of their own shirts. In the haikyuu light novel “the last summer vacation” (Sources: 1|2) Suga watched the team with worry on his face because it was so hot so he approached Daichi and expressed his concern that the team will get sick from the heat. Coach Ukai overheard the discussion and called a meeting. They’re usually seen together in every scene in the anime, stage play, haikyuu light novel, extras, manga, spin-offs and drama cds, scolding Tanaka, Noya, Hinata, Kageyama and Tsukishima; discussing volleyball stuffs; and buying pork buns for the team. In the lets haikyuu and extras (hq spin-off) it’s actually semi-canon they’re karasuno’s team parents. They also have this karasuno christmas bonding tradition.

It was also STATED BY THE DIRECTOR IN THE HQ MAGAZINE AND THE VOICE ACTORS THAT DAICHI AND SUGA ARE THE TEAM PARENTS AND TANAKA’S THE BIG BROTHER (here are the links: 1| 2|3)

 4. Teasing, bickering and just them being dorks: 

Suga teasing daichi is my jam. In the HQ LN “Yachi’s delivery mission” (Sources 1|2), this conversation frickin made me squeal like a mouse with laryngitis. After practice the team was thirsty and wanted something cold to eat. “It’s indeed hot, lets get ice pops before we head home” daichi stated then frickin SLY/LIL SHIT SUGA JUST CASUALLY SAID THIS REMARK “Oh that’s not a bad idea, are you going to treat us Daichi-san” HE FRICKIN ADDED -SAN. So the team didn't let the opportunity go away they screamed with joy and thanked Daichi. After what happened Daichi just glared at Suga who was smiling at him. Daichi’s a softie when Suga’s involved. Suga got Daichi to buy ice cream for the team.  I REPEAT HQ LN SHOULD BE ANIMATED. 

Daichi knows when Suga’s about to do something stupid and his antics. They argued about this. When Suga was mad at Daichi because he was implying that the last year shrine visit was nothing; he was so pissed he started fuming at daichi. Suga also told Daichi that steak just being steak is better over diced steak.  Hyped suga and daichi trying to calm him down is the cutest shit. In the HQ LN “Tokyo Expedition: Captains’ Meeting”(Sources: 1|2), Daichi warned Suga about Kuroo because he knows how to read minds and loves mind games and Suga was like ‘you need to chill Daichi’. When it was Suga’s turn to pick a card from Daichi’s deck he picked the joker and twitched his brows, Daichi whispered at Suga telling him whenever he drew the joker his brows twitch so Suga massaged his brows. I REPEAT AGAIN THIS SHOULD BE ANIMATED. The other captains and vice captains are competing against each other but look at these frickin idiots they are helping each other. DAICHI OBSERVING SUGA THEN WARNED HIM ABOUT HIS TENDENCY OF TWITCHING HIS EYEBROWS. IM GONNA FRICKIN DO A BACKFLIP. Also Daichi and Suga love to make fun of asahi but when you frickin hurt asahi these two will frickin punch you in the face. Frickin daisugasting dorks.

 5. They are always together and in sync:

In the manga, anime, extras, stage play, light novel, drama cds and official art/merchandise they’re usually frickin together and always in sync, same reactions and thoughts. Remember when Daichi looked at Suga (S1 ep24) like he was asking for approval then Suga nodded. That was so cute ugh.

Extras: 

Suga is 6 months older than Daichi. June 13 and December 31. Their birth dates makes me go WAIT WHAT. 

Suga and Daichi’s name meanings are compatible.

During the christmas bonding time, Suga received daichi’s gift, a daruma. Daichi bought it as a gift because it weighs like a volleyball (he’s such a volleyball nerd) and he told Suga that they should draw the eye together. (Source link)

Suga’s first synchronize attack was a success and he tossed it to Daichi. Coach Ukai assigned these two along with Tanaka to learn synchronize attack.(Remember when Daichi told Suga he borrowed coach ukai’s tablet so they can watch the videos together)

The way they look at each other like there’s nothing else to look at. 

What I truly love about these two is their relationship and trust for each other.They complement each other, which makes them a good combination. They went through obstacles and look THEY MADE IT TO THE NATIONALS, kiyoko witnessed their progress and asahi thanked suga and daichi because they welcomed him again in the team, remember when asahi was not sure if they’d accept him to the team but daichi and suga were just laughing and made fun of him. 

Their vice captain and captain interaction isn't fully expressed in the anime and i hope that everyone will appreciate them more! They made it to nationals! And them being proud of Hinata and Kageyama in the hq time skip is one of the best treasures Furudate sensei gave to us. 

Lets talk about these two. Daisugasting volleyball idiots.

Been quite a while since anything new has been available, but I was able to get a new batch of 7 inked Archie Mega Man pages from Gary Martin last week. 

First up, the neat splash page featuring a couple of conniving mad scientists, Dr. Wily and Dr. Robotnik, which appeared at the end of Issue 51, penciled by Edwin Huang. The hand belongs to Xander Payne, who created the portal they walked through with his electronic eye.  Interestingly enough, on the back of this page was what is listed as a patch for the final page of Issue 37, which was the first chapter in the Dawn of X saga. This one was drawn by Jamal Peppers. Just the top panel of that page, not the part with Mega Man’s helmet broken by the spikey foot of the Wily Walker. Still, as always, so fun to see a bonus hiding on the back of one of these official pages!

Next up is page 3 from Issue 31, the 3rd issue of Blackout: The Curse of Ra Moon. This one is a Mike Cavallaro issue. Rock and Gutsy encounter Needle Man for the first time, before he’s brain hijacked by Ra Moon.

Then from Issue 43, the great Powree issues, it’s page 10, where Magnet Man goes down after a flurry of Shadow Blades pierce him. I gave away the page before this in a contest a long time ago, so happy to get a different Shadow Blade Rock page now.

Moving on to Issue 47, pages 2 and 8, drawn by Ryan Odagawa. This issue had that really different coloring style, so it is kinda refreshing to see the inks for these two. Page 2 features blasting and Hard Knuckling through the Yellow Devil, while Page 8 had Doc Robot blasting Mega Man through a wall, which led to a capsule room where the bodies of the 8 Robot Masters from Mega Man 2, whose robotic brains were all intermingled into Doc Robot, were housed in capsules. But wait a minute, isn’t there something odd with this page, compared to the final...? 

That’s right! In this inked page, Ice Man and Shadow Man were originally in the bottom right capsules! Somebody certainly caught the mistake and added Wood Man and Flash Man in. Although to be honest, the top left head silhoutte looks more like Flash to me. And it also looks like Magnet Man’s legs are the visible left pair, which seems to have made it in the final page as well. So this is actually a really fun thing to look at, to see what was mistakenly originally drawn, and how they tried to fix it in the final. Poor Air, Crash, and Heat kinda got screwed in this setup. XD

Second to last, it’s the first page of Issue 49, by Ryan Jampole. This page is from Quick Man’s perspective as he’s booted back up in his own body, after the whole Doc Robot situation and Mega Man 3 story has ended. Because who doesn’t love Rock’s happy face in Jamps’ style?

And finally, another from Jamps, it’s page 4 of Issue 54. This is one of the great easter egg pages in Wily’s lab, where we get a lot of cameos from things in later Mega Man games that we unfortunately never got in the series, before it was cancelled. I won’t list them all, but some things stand out a little better in this inked page, without the speech bubbles hiding them all.

One day maybe I’ll try to scan and stitch some of these pages together, rather than just always taking photos of them with my phone. It’s a lot harder to scan, due to how large these pages are, compared to the size of my scanner. But it is something I want to do one day, for better quality.

Remember That Time... Vol. 01

Remember that time Eobard created giant robot horses from prison in exchange for a pardon, and then released one back into the 20th century in a long con to have an ugly statue stolen for him by Hal while he and Barry vibrated into each other, fusing together to defeat the giant robot horse by stomping it to death, and then Eo accidentally blabbed his whole plan after Hal returned with a dissolved statue and Barry defeated him by stripping his suit off?

This is the cover art to one of Eo’s lengthy Eobarry fanfics, because you know he’s one of those fanfic authors who’s extra like that.

“THAWNYE” sounds like some kind of diminutive if you say it like “Thawn-ya”. Great job keeping track of things, guys. Look at Barry pretending he doesn’t know who Eo is... or maybe it’s just the name thing. I’m not sure how humanity managed to drive horses to extinction, but I’m taking that as an indication that the 25th century is actually a horrid dystopia. I assume Eo does know what horses really look like, and just took some creative license, but it would be funny if he didn’t. I’m also concerned that they gave him a shop to work in, what with him being a mad scientist and all.

LOOK AT THAT OUTFIT. My boy is always out there, bringing the hottest new looks. Since his giant collar is the same color as his pants, and it’s The Future, I’m willing to bet that he wearing a--say it with me--mid-20th century retro-futuristic jumpsuit! And those pirate boots! And that consistently inconsistent hairline!

I kinda can’t help but wonder if Eo has some deep, hidden desire to become a sculptor. And is it the getting of the statues, or the having? Is it the thieving, or the collecting? Eo’s FACE in the 3rd panel is priceless. Is this confirmation that Barry would lead in any hypothetical dances? I’m taking it as that. And they’re doing a great job, considering! Eo seems so excited in the last panel. I want to see these moves at regular speed. They must be... somethin’ else.

They always pop out like they’re one single piece--gloves and boots and all! Do ya gotta slide yourself in through the neck hole? Where is all this excess fabric on Eo’s suit coming from? It sure doesn’t look like Barry’s making any headway in removing it. He’s a 25th century Draupadi over here. And he’s just wearing regular ol’ clothes underneath a skintight suit, a thing that will continue to baffle me about Flash comics for decades to come.

BNHA 304 Spoilers Some Thoughts: Vestiges

This was a meaty chapter with a lot of One For All lore and theories, so I’m going to put in a some thoughts down because I’d be writing an entire essay if I did a deep-dive into this chapter otherwise.  Also, I’m using the ReadHeroAcademia Fan Translations, but I think they were kind of wonky this week for some reason, so apologies if I get some stuff wrong, especially when the official translations come out:

We now see all the OFA users in their real forms except for All Might of course.  The 2nd and 3rd users aren’t in the shadows anymore, but they’re facing the wall because of course they are.  One of them has been speculated by many fans to be Bakugo or one of Bakugo’s decedents mainly because of his hair.  I’m not entirely bought on that yet, but I can see it.  I don’t think it’s Bakugo himself, so I’m leaning more towards the ancestor thing.

The 4th user’s name is Hakage Shinomori.  He lived in the woods (it’s implied that he did it to stay away from society), had OFA for about 18 years, and trained it enough to pass it down to the next user being Banjo.  Oh, and he’s pretty 😳!  And he died of old age at only 40 yrs old 😰

Edit: The official translations say that his first name was Higake.  Also, he didn’t know exactly how he died until All Might dug up his medical records and autopsy from present day.  OFA did cause that crack on his face and Shinormori thought it was a disease that killed him initially, but that was not the case.

I actually did look back at Chapter 257(?) where All Might was talking to Deku and Bakugo about the previous OFA users to make sure Shinomori really did die of old age and looks like he did!  The panel that shows all the previous holder’s deaths shows the 4th user looking old and tired.  I didn’t see any blood or injuries on him.  Good consistency, Horikoshi!

It definitely looks like Banjo (the 5th user) likes messing around with Shinomori as he’s messing with Shinormori with his Black Whip and Shinomori is just avoiding him with his Danger Sense LOL!  I wonder if the two had this dynamic when they were alive since Sinomori would’ve probably trained Banjo at some point being the 4th and 5th users.  

Quick tangent, but I really want to know the 6th user’s deal (the black haired Tobio Kageyama look-alike with the Best Jeanist collar).  He’s been on full display since we’ve first saw the vestiges, but we don’t know his Quirk yet (Is it VOLLEYBALL??) or how he trained Nana Shimura.  I’m thinking his Quirk is next on Deku’s Awakening list.  I want answers, Horikoshi!

Also, Deku can talk in the Vestige World now, but it’s broken speech.  Thankfully, it’s enough for the Vestiges to understand, so they’re able to answer his questions and comments fine.

Now to the big topic at hand: One For All is best possessed by Quirkless people and Deku is most likely the LAST user of OFA.  

Shinomori says that OFA can no longer be held by “Normal People”.  This interested me when he said it because my initial thought was that he was talking about “Quirkless” people.  But, then I remember that it was established in the VERY BEGINNING OF THE SERIES that 80+% of people in the BNHA world have Quirks.  So they are considered “Normal People” in this universe.  

The explanation they gave for why this is is A LOT!  But basically, OFA is just too much for people with Quirks.  Their glasses are full when they get their Quirks.  Adding OFA to that overflows that cup and cracks it (Horikoshi gives us a nice visual, so it’s easier to explain).  Because of that, OFA actually chips off a Quirk user’s life-span by a lot.  IT AGES THEM SIGNIFICANTLY!!!  That’s why 40 was considered “old age” to Shinomori.  That’s why he died so quickly.

Edit: I was worried that the fan translation for this explanation would be wrong when the official translations came out, but thankfully it isn’t that far off.  It’s basically the same explanation just worded differently.  Again, I think the visualization with the cups helps a lot.

But, because All Might was Quirkless, his glass was empty.  It wasn’t until he was given OFA that his glass was full.  All Might, in a way, made OFA is very own Quirk as if he was born with it.  Also, All Might seemingly has the power to summon the Vestiges willingly though he doesn’t know it yet.

Edit: Ok, the part where All Might can summon the Vestiges willingly was not in the official translations, but based on how his hand on Deku’s cast is drawn, I don’t think the fan translations were too far off.  All Might can at least feel them inside Deku at this point.

AND, based on what’s said, All Might’s has had OFA for 40 YEARS!  So, doing the math, if All Might got OFA at 14-15 yrs old + 40 yrs = All Might is at least 54-55 years old at this point.  I thought he’d be around this age, but now it’s pretty much confirmed.

A lot of info is still unknown though such as how and why OFA adapts with the User’s original Quirks.  Though it is clarified that Quirkless people do have the most potential to hold OFA.

The 1st User says that having All Might and Deku inherit OFA was a miracle (or might be fate) and then Horikoshi shows us a panel of Sir Nighteye.  This kinda guts me...  Nighteye was so bent on making sure that Mirio was the perfect candidate for OFA before he accepted Deku’s role.  And Mirio would’ve been a great hero with OFA, but he would not have been a great candidate.  If Mirio inherited OFA, he would’ve died an early age.  I hate to say it, but I’m glad Nighteye was wrong and All Might made the right choice.

Also, thinking about it, Shinormoi died at age 40 with 4 quirks in him (including his own).  So, I’d imagine Mirio with 8 quirks in him would chop off his life span significantly.  I’d say Mirio here wouldn’t have lasted through his 20s at least.  Thank god he didn’t inherit OFA 😨

And finally on this topic, because Quirkless people are becoming more and more scarce, Deku is most likely going to be last holder of OFA.  A lot of people including myself thought this might be the case, but not for this reason.  Thankfully, this means that Deku will (hopefully) live a long life, but he’ll have no successor to pass the Quirk down to.  The only other Qurikless person we know in this world besides Deku and All Might is Melissa Shield, but she want to build support items for heroes instead.  Deku’s kids will most likely have Quirks, so they’re out of the picture.  There aren’t a lot of options left in the BNHA world.  OFA will most likely live and die with Deku.

LASTLY, Nana Shimura speaks up and asks Deku a crucial question: “Are you able to kill Tomura Shigaraki?”  First off, WHAT???  Second off, WHAT?????  Nana is asking Deku if he can KILL her own GRANDSON!!!  I know Shigaraki is evil and killed a shitton of people, but KILL HIM???  Good god, Horikoshi...  Where are you going with this, my dude.  I don’t think Deku can bring it in himself to kill someone even if it is Shigaraki.  I doubt he will.  So I wonder what his response to Nana will be in the next chapter.

There, I did it.  I said my piece.  THIS CHAPTER WAS A LOT THOUGH HOLY SHIT!  I knew we were getting Vestige stuff this week, but goddamn.  I hope I did this chapter enough justice though.  I do recommend reading the chapter for yourself when it comes out though, because I think it explains things better.  I expect a lot from the next chapter too.

do you think kuraneon is gonna be canon in the official hxh universe and what must have happened?

Whether or not they would be canon is up to Sir Togashi himself. While he does have romantic elements in his previous works like Yu Yu Hakusho and Ten de Showaru Cupid, it's not as explicit in HxH (e.g. Meruem/Komugi).

If you asked me this before knowing about the KuraNeon Marriage Theory (will give a link in the reblog later on) and KuraNeon paired up in mobile games, I would have said "0% chance" because we do not see them interact on-screen (even if I had shipped them since I first laid my eyes on Neon).

However, it is kinda sus that Kurapika became a Nostrade Family Young Boss; with Light and Neon nowhere shown. The more "accepted" theory is that Light is unable to continue and Neon is dead (although I do have rebuttals about Neon being dead - that's another conversation). I do wonder why he had to keep their mafia family name - there is no reason to if he truly let them wither. But from Light's last appearance in a manga panel, Kurapika did reassure him that he'll handle everything and you see the Nostrade mafia family organisation doing well under Kurapika. Which is also why my friend went to bring up that plausible KuraNeon Marriage Theory. 

I know that a lot of people think they don’t interact, but that is on-screen. After York New City arc, we don’t see Kurapika until way later, however him being in charge as the Nostrade Boss indicates that he stayed with the Nostrades. God knows what they did while living under one roof. 

Another thing that is major sus is the mobile games. Even non-shippers are baffled why KuraNeon is a thing. Kurapika and Neon are seen dressed as Hikoboshi and Orihime in two sets of the mobage cards; a romantic couple that is known in a Japanese legend and celebrated on 7 July (Tanabata Festival). They are even shown writing on coloured papers in one of the cards + Kurapika holding a bamboo - these coloured papers are used during the Tanabata festival where wishes are written on them and hung on bamboo. It is believed that the reunion between the two lovers Hikoboshi and Orihime are so joyous that they grant the wishes of the people. As far as I know, the only pairing that gets to have a Orihime/Hikoboshi theme in their cards is Machi/Hisoka; and we do see Hisoka/Machi having a soft spot for one another in canon (in the current arc, Machi does patch him up after his defeat and Hisoka spared her).  

Hmmm.. I should make a post about this whole Tanabata thing actually. Asides from that, they are also the v-day banner in 2019 for the games and she gave him a cake during the valentine’s day event, to which showed a scene of him thinking about what to give her back (and low and behold, Kurapika’s White’s Day card featured him with a gift and him wearing the same outfit of the scene where he thought about what to give her). 

In a separate mobile game, they have a special attack together. Their mobage cards have identical backgrounds and themes. Therefore, it isn’t just one mobile game that does this. It makes me wonder why the official team devs do that when this pairing shipping sub-fandom is really small and many even dislike it. 

Even as a shipper, it also baffles me why devs do that when they have little screentime together (gotta be more objective here). If you do consider the KuraNeon Marriage Theory or consider that they might end up together in the manga, it makes sense why the official hxh game devs pair them together. And I am unsure about the source - but I think for Japanese manga production of non-manga material, you need approval from the writer? All the more to be suspicious of the mobile games that contains KuraNeon above every single pairing out there. 

Hence, if you ask me, there is a chance of Kurapika/Neon being canon. How that might happen is a little tricky and depending on the type of portrayal they will be (I have four interpretations of this ship on my pinned post lol). 

I’m not sure if you only define canon as the vanilla/romantic type, or it also includes one that is a little twisted. I've noticed that hxh has friendship and family dynamics that are already complicated and not as wholesome as one would think. I do believe that if KuraNeon were to be canon, it would be the latter interpretation. 

There are actually a few things that are needed to be considered for it to happen: 1) Neon’s fate - she needs to be alive (or maybe not)  Now, a lot of people believe she died because Chrollo’s book speculates that she does. However, we don’t see her dead body. It’s literally just Chrollo’s interpretation. This is contrasted by Kurapika that states that the previous Scarlet Eye owners did not need to be killed (and the “daughter of a mafia leader” is one of them). If the daughter of a mafia leader is truly Neon, then it brings a question of who should you believe more: Chrollo or Kurapika? (Imo it’s super interesting how these two guys who are enemies have different narratives on the same girl). 

Of course, there was this potential discrepancy I found while re-watching this arc. The Scarlet Eyes that Kurapika bidded for 2.9 billion was a fake. They thought it was stolen when Squala took it with him and died - but it was actually that Kortopi’s Gallery Fake copy disappears after 24hour. So technically, the Eyes is with the Troupe. Now, assuming that Togashi has not forgotten this detail (I believe he still remembers), I do think that it is possible that since Chrollo is the type to get bored of the stuff he steals, he will just sell it and it will be obtained by the later owners. As for “the daughter of a mafia leader”, I’m sure it’s Neon that Kurapika is referring to - be it him mentioning her as merely a previous owner despite the set of Scarlet Eyes being “stolen” or she bought another set. (There is a chance that is not Neon, but another daughter of a random mafia leader, but what are the chances of another daughter being like that?) 

I guess I just wanted to point this detail out because many people readily believed Chrollo’s book (it was not even himself). He stated that he did not know when it disappeared. 

As for that “Hisoka killed Neon” theory, while it is believable and interesting, the only thing that is doubtful for that is that a) Hisoka could not have gone off to kill Neon in such a short period of time, b) that would be an insult to Kurapika’s capabilities if she was under his care, c) the fortune-telling ability doesn’t bother Hisoka. Pakunoda and Hisoka had a short conversation about the fortune and both of them acknowledged that the future changed. Hisoka wrote over his fortune despite having a good one to manipulate the events in hopes of fighting Chrollo - that is an indication of his belief that he writes his own future, and therefore which is why I argue that the fortune-telling ability never bothered him.

As for the “Kurapika killed Neon” theory, I think... they all need to get one thing straight about Kurapika: as much as possible, except for the spiders, he doesn’t kill (or at least dislikes to kill). He stated that none of the owners had to die even if two preferred to die. If there’s a way, he will not shed blood. Besides, Kurapika doesn’t actually hate Neon - contrary to popular belief. There wasn’t a single manga panel that indicates his hatred for her; or even annoyance. It was only the time where Mellody mentioned that he will kill her if she stands in the way, but Kurapika, as much as mentioned before, doesn’t kill if there is an alternative way. 

I have yet to fully explore possible reasons why Neon’s ability disappears from Chrollo’s book if she’s still alive (my friend thinks it’s related to Kurapika’s dolphin ability). However, there are many rebuttals to the theories on how she died. 

But yeah, I think for it to be canon, Neon has to be alive. Unless... they were already canon and he sailed to the Dark Continent and she died slightly before that event (tbh I rather not have this).

2) Kurapika’s fate - he needs to live

Number 2 is a condition is if they aren’t canon yet before he sails to the Dark Continent. 

One thing that confuses people is that they think that just because Kurapika is under the Kakin Employment, it means that he is no longer affiliated with the Nostrades. The Kakin Employment contract is temporary - he is still affiliated with the Nostrades (and their business is bodyguarding, take note). As for him being in the Zodiac, he is still the Nostrade Family Young Boss - being part of the Zodiacs is like some political committee. 

I know there are rumours (I say rumours cause I don’t see the interview script by my own eyes) that Togashi once indicated that the Phantom Troupe and Kurapika will all die. I do think that Togashi can kill one of his main characters, but there’s one thing that makes me question whether he changed his mind: Nitro Rice from the Dark Continent. 

The Nitro Rice is a thing in the Dark Continent that prolongs one’s life - a direct solution to Kurapika’s Emperor Time problem. I think if he does last until they reach the Dark Continent, he has a chance to prolong his lifespan that he has lost while using Emperor Time. 

Now, if he indeed gets to survive, manages to complete his mission, there’s another problem he will face: a will to live. Because currently, all he has ever lived for is bringing justice to his clan. Beyond that, what can he live for? Which kind of makes the ending for him to happily live with someone (be it his friends or having a family) a suitable one. 

3) Neon’s development

Neon is seriously misunderstood among the fandom - even her personality. I’ve seen a lot of Kurapika x (other character) ships where Neon is the 3rd party in fanfics; and it is a one-sided love. 

However, Neon is actually an emotionally detached person while Kurapika is the one that gets attached to people, even if he initially avoids them. Neon has what psychologists will call “Avoidant-Dismissive Attachment Style” while Kurapika has “Avoidant-Fearful Attachment Style”. This is rightfully so due to their different backgrounds. I actually believe that between the two of them, Kurapika will be the one who falls first or if this is one-sided, Kurapika is the one that likes her because of their attachment styles. 

Neon has zero friends, is materialistic and lacks sympathy for dead people (the complete opposite of Kurapika). She believes in focusing on the present and the living (it’s actually a pretty good principle to live for). She needs to learn how to be more attached to people and learn compassion - which she actually is seen as being capable of. She was surprised that Eliza broke down and cried, and even forgo bidding physically. I think this is an indication of her starting to feel sympathy for people and perhaps being more mature - cemented by the fact that she lost her powers.

Therefore, I do think she needs to learn how to warm her heart up to people (which she might have already started to after the York New incident) if she were to feel something for Kurapika. 

4) Kurapika’s view of her

Okay, this is one factor that is either you take it the vanilla way or the kinky way lmao. I actually wrote a Cognitive Dissonance Theory for Kurapika on my Tumblr post for this one (will try to link it in the reblog). 

Kurapika’s initial belief is that flesh collectors are scums who should be arrested, yet he is surprised to see that his flesh-collecting employer is a girl of his age. I think there is already dissonance in his mind there once he met her. 

Contrary to popular belief, Kurapika doesn’t hate Neon (there’s no single manga panel that ever once showed he detest her or feel annoyed with her; as compared to other employees of hers). In fact, he does quickly understand that Neon is being exploited by her father - to which he corrects Basho about the situation. In the manga, when he woke up after the fever, he says her name (in the 2011 anime, it was “Boss” but in the manga, it’s “Neon”) and immediately asks about her; which indicates that he is concerned for her. Of course, she is his employer but in that situation where he is bedridden and not working, him asking about her won’t be just due to him working as a bodyguard. 

However, this doesn’t show that he has feelings for her. It only proves that a) he doesn’t hate her, b) he does care about her. He needs to see Neon as more than just a flesh collector for him to like her; on top of spending time with one another. He needs to see (if he hasn’t already) that she is a girl his age that has a different predicament than him. 

This is the vanilla way I guess. 

The darker and more saucy interesting interpretation would be him thinking it’s okay to objectify her just as much as she objectifies his clan’s eyes (that’s another post I gotta do for another day - but hey, this interpretation is paralleled to Tserreidnich/Theta). 

5) Spending Time with one another

I think as mentioned, it is already a given that Kurapika and Neon had spent time together under one roof off-screen while we see Gon and Killua on-screen during the 3 arcs. However, I think Neon cannot suddenly become less detached and Kurapika cannot want something more than his mission at the moment; so I do think that even if they had spent time before Dark Continent Exploration arc, Neon and Kurapika needs to spend time together after he comes back (that’s if they haven’t banged before he sailed to the Dark Continent like they did in my fic lmao). 

So yeah, I think these are generally the five things that I think should happen if they were to be canon. 

I don’t know why I was compelled to do a long-ass post of this, but I hope this answers your question. I can go on and write a report about this but Imma stop here for now.

Things from the DMC3 manga

There's something I noticed some time ago in the Devil May Cry 3 manga and I found something strange about it. It's about Arkham and how he was apparently both Rabbi and the Hatter.

Honestly at first I considered those two characters to have demons that were working with Arkham, given that it could have been possible that he could have made some deals. The plot of the DMC3 manga is barely mentioned on the Japanese wiki and I haven't seen stuff referenced from it in other DMC3 guidebooks either. One thing that I read on the wiki is that Arkham was the rabbit (Rabbi) and perhaps some of you guessed it from the start. We know that Arkham could change into Jester but this is something that apparently happened because of his failed ritual to obtain demonic power, where he sacrificed his wife, which could have been depicted in the 3rd volume of the manga, but it wasn't made.

First, here are some panels that show the rabbit doll. When Dante found the mansion where Alice was (which apparently was Arkham's because he found a picture of Kalina and Lady), notice that when Dante was firing bullets he shot the doll, it's even shown alone in the panel. 

I wanted to point it out like why did Dante shoot a doll from a little girl's arms...? Moving on, later we see Rabbi who is bigger and talks, he was the one who gave Dante the request to find Alice. 

  We have seen Rabbi and the Hatter together and that's why at first I thought they are demons that work with Arkham, but I guess Rabbi was a puppet controlled by Arkham and was able to project his mind onto it? 

The signs that it was Arkham would have been the book Rabbi was carrying which I think it was the same Arkham had (Records of Devil Swords) and also the way he was talking about Vergil and Dante, Arkham knowing things about Sparda and the twins. 

Vergil slashes Rabbi and returns to the doll form and he doesn't show up again after that, most likely that him being Arkham was revealed to Alice, thus knowing who he truly was, there was no need for the rabbit facade. 

Like I mentioned before, Arkham seems like he was capable of other things, I mean, the man experimented with demons, he even had corpses in his study, he could have had some demonic power, not just when he did that failed ritual where he killed his wife. 

Okay, now about the Hatter. It could have been Arkham, hatter being sorta like Jester in a way. If some haven't noticed before, look at Arkham's shadow, it looks like the Hatter. 

 I was like "What?? So they are the same person?" The reason why I didn't think Arkham and Hatter were not the same is because in this page, Vergil and Hatter (the latter stutters when he talks), there is a conversation between them and I was like, what is going on here?   

So, I just wanted to say that the thing about these characters was strange. We had Rabbi and Hatter shown together in same pannels, Rabbi was a doll that could have possibly had Arkham's mind projected onto him (this is just my speculation, nowhere does it say this, like I mentioned not even the wiki says much about it), and Hatter could have been what Arkham could transform into, even before his Jester persona. Another clue would have been that towards the end of the manga he says "Bravo Dante!!", Jester said "bravo!" a few times in DMC3. So yeah, basically, while I think it's easier to assume that he was the Hatter because he is kinda similar to Jester, when it comes to Rabbi which he have seen that it was a doll, Arkham was quite skilled and I also thought that he gained demonic power when he did that ritual, and also created his alter ego-Jester, but looks like it happened before it. Can we like, get a reboot of the DMC3 manga, perhaps by Ogata sensei? That would be awesome. We could get what was supposed to be for the 3rd volume, more stuff about Lady and things that Vergil and Arkham did in preparation for Temen-Ni-Gru.

I wonder why the DMC3 had a different writer instead of Bingo Morihashi who did the scenario for the game? The first volume of this manga was published in Japan a week before the game. Unlike Visions of V, even Itsuno talks about it, but the one for 3? I barely found references for it on other sites and it's not mentioned in the guidebooks that I have for DMC3.

Sydney blocked me so I cant ring his tablet thought I'm sure others in the Hy-technical department are trying to locate it, block or no block. I just KNOW the 'where' he is, then they do. I'm sure if I was still angry at her ditch I'd be glad Lor'Ra is gonna see his demise without warning. But I tried to hurt her though Bane and Kytera and my revenge only hurt myself so much more. I screwed up so bad and I can NEVER make it right. I cant even warn them about it either... not that they would believe me, probably. They we're smart, they'd figure it out.

I get shoved to my knees before Michael, who I really haven't seen in person since... I.

I babble a little bit about how I just wanted a vacation and I was tired, I was NOT running away. Not that he believes that, I failed far to much this year at ..everything. I just want a BREAK.

(Michael): "You would really leave after putting on the table your theory? Do you really care so little for my sister?"

"It was a hunch...I dont know...maybe its nothing..I cant be sure. Now that you are here, you'll do better and find the truth my King." I laugh nervously as he skimmed my notes with disgust. Its not like I SAW Sydney reverse feed on Nala. But when I pressed him, he basically confirmed it with his big lecture on how it was impossible for me to know that. I try to block out the terrible thought he left me in final words cause that will just make Michael so much more..mad. I was mad too but now, I was just sad. I just want this day to end so I can get to the next one and want that to end too. No matter what I try I'll be brought back again for my brain. Even though right now it felt more useless then productive.

"We tried for days to find Sydney he doesn't have long..IF if it happens like it did to....Nala...I have Dathan who I DID see with my eyes eyes him reverse feed AND we have some DNA from a women he fed on ...and ..samples from him but its kinda combined together. ..I..I'm sure someone else is working on separating the samples..I ..just had to...get some air."

(Michael): "If all of this is a waste of my time you will NEVER get any fresh air again, do you here me? I will lock you up back in that white room and nothing you invent will be worth letting you out! EVER again!"

"Im sorry!"

I gag as he squeezes my head while berating me. The pain made everything go white but he finely lets go of his telepathic hold and I sniffle up my bloody nose still staying bowing.

(Michael): "Your apologizes never mean anything Ra. Get up and Let my brothers out, it seems there DNA can provide nothing to the cure.."

He commands setting down the notes and his tone made me wonder if he was disappointed they we're not infected or just disappointed he had to deal with them on some level.

"Wh..at do I..do with them?" I ask awkwardly looking everywhere but him.

(Michael): "They can be excorted back to their rooms, and there will be no leaving for them either. I have already assigned guards to watch them till..dinner is served..."

He leaves me with that and I wonder if he was going to have Soren eat them or something for 'dinner'.

I suck in a breath trying not to hyperventilate from yet another nerves breakdown as I walk over to the back med room where the brothers have been in the medical tubes being studied. They had no trace of the blood poison, I had worries for the younger one since he was...so close to Nala during the bleed out. I do not get close to them but open it from a computer panel by the door. The pods release air. Marcelus NEVER takes the pods well but at least they replaced the bloody contaminated clothes with white medical ones so Marcelus doesn't run around naked in a panic.

"Wakey Wakey, you two are not poisoned and you can go back to your rooms and use Myspace all day."

I speak into the mic with fake chipperness to mask the depression as I open the door too them.

You guys are so nice!! <3 Favorite sim right now would probably be Lavender so I’ll answer these for her! 

1. In my head, I imagine she grew up on a farm with a bunch of animals and plants which is why she’s so interested in studying plant-life. Despite the fact that she was created in CAS, I also imagine she was an only child and her mom’s name was Lu-Anne and she grew up in Veronaville.

2. Besides Case and Luka, she actually had a 3rd boo-thang but he ended up glitching out and she literally forgot him. He just disappeared from the world and her relationship panel. 

3. Jude was originally a girl, my game crashed right after I went into build mode to do “her” room, which was really a corner lmao. When I reloaded, Lavender had to go into birth all over again (poor sim) and she ended up with a boy, Jude, and I just rolled with it. I reused the name I intended intended for Not-Jude when Ivey was born. So, Lavender has technically given birth 4 times and has had 2 Iveys. & Despite being born twice, Ivey still didn’t become heir D:

4. Lavender has only had 3 or 4 non-family friends her entire sim life and her best friend was Angela Pleasant but Angela was only in like 5 photos. I kinda wish I had played up their relationship more because that would have been super fun.

5. I gave her the maker trait because I thought it would be interesting and something I hadn’t done before but I actually hate it. She’s only ever made candles for that reason and it was very early on in my gameplay. Oops? 

Bonus 6: Lavender currently has the fortune aspiration. I figured that would be easy to max out since she was making so much from her job. She’s on the last tier and *still* hasn’t been able to get past the “Earn $200K” requirement.

My very first redraw from my very first edit posted here, so it deserves an honorable mention. Back then I was young and inexperienced, I didn't even apply a gray filter (lmao I was so unskilled I even unintentionally scratched the picture, I hadn't realized until today). I'm actually very happy my first redraw was of Don, boy deserves all the love.

#2: Emma and Ray - Chapter 140: I’m Here!

Back then this looked like so much work to me!!! And to this day, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm particularly proud of how the bow turned out. This is one I was really proud of right after having finished it; it gave me the confidence to try redrawing bigger areas. Also, the edit were I first applied the opacity of layer / opacity of brush for the gray filter that would have stuck with me.

#4: Emma, Norman and Ray - Chapter 153: Coward

Probably the single panel redraw I'm the most proud of. That Norman panel was beautiful and very poignant at the end of a chapter I adored, so I believe it deserved all the time I've spent working on it. It's far from being perfect - the back of his head is too plain, and the difference between my brushes and the original brushes is pretty visible - but I still like it very much and am extremely attached to it. The horn looks kinda big but I honestly believe it to be more of an issue with the original than with what I had redrawn lol. Funny enough, the whole picture didn't make it to the final edit and had to be trimmed.

#3: Emma - Chapter 174: A New World (part 1)

I think the panels that were selected work very well together, especially considering the close-up / full body alternation. I love Emma, and I've always been kinda sad noticing that edits that focus one her take the less notes... She deserves all the love. Also, fun fact: for the last but one panel, I had redrawn Emma's whole left ear before remembering she doesn't have one, so I had to redraw the panel from the start. Besides from the error with the ear, the reason why this (and all the others after) took so long is because official panel take way longer to clean.

#4: Isabella and her children - Chapter 177: Mother

Lmao tbh I can't understand how this has so few notes it's like. Technically speaking, probably the best edit I've ever done. I don't even like Isabella that much, I haven't got the slightlest idea why I decided to spend so many hours on this. Anyway, I find the composition (full body on the left / headshots on the right) really good looking in this as well! And I think the redraws turned out fine, especially Isabella's.

#5: The Promised Neverland manga ending countdown→ 1/7 chapters: chapter 1 - Grace Field House

I like how it turned out and I'm pretty satisfied with the redraws (even though my sister helped me with the lineart of some panels - it was exams time and I really couldn't afford to spend more time on it), too bad we didn't have more chapters that focused on the boys. Ray sweetie one day I'll fix your ear it's just today's not that day.

Btw, I justed realized I have never done an Emma / Norman centered edit? I'll have to make one eventually. I remember considering focusing on them alone for the chapter 154 one, but then I thought "even if the manga is gonna ignore Ray, I will chose to do not" lol.

A Rock War and The Clubhouse

Chapter 7

~ 3rd Person POV, The Losers Club~

The group was walking down the street with their bikes by their sides. Well, all except Richie who was biking in circles around the group. 

"Y'know we love being your personal doormen. Really, could you idiots have taken any longer?" Richie asks.

"Don't bring me into this." Ashton said.

"Alright shut up Richie!" Eddie exclaimed.

"Yeah, shut up Richie!" Stan called out after.

"Oh okay! Trash the trashmouth! I get it! Hey, I wasn't the one who was scrubbing the bathroom floor and imagining that her sink went all Eddie's mom's vagina on Halloween." Richie shouted.

"She didn't imagine it." Bill said, causing the group to stop.

"I s-s-suh-saw something too." Bill told.

"You saw blood too?" Stan asked, his voice cracking.

"Not Blood." Bill muttered.

"He saw Georgie." Ashton responded.

"It seemed so real." Bill finished.

"I mean, it seemed like him, but there was this-" Bill paused , but was cut off.

"A clown." Eddie muttered out, looking at the ground.

Eddie then looked around and continued with, "Yeah, I saw him too." 

Bill then looked at Ben, and the chubby boy nodded. Bill looked over at Stan, and he also nodded and made eye contact with Bill.

"Wait, can only virgins see this stuff? Is that why I'm not seeing this shit?" Richie asked.

"What about Ashton?" Beverly asked.

"No, sorry I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary." Ashton said, with an almost guilty look on her face.

"But didn't you say you saw the clown Bill did?" Stan asked.

"Well, I didn't see it. Bill just told me he saw it." Ashton responded.

"How? We all met up this morning. How'd he tell you without us hearing?" Stan asked, his voice more skeptical.

"I slept over at Bill's yesterday, he told me after it happened." Ashton explained.

The group was silent for a bit before they heard shouting from behind the trees. They looked to where it came from and spotted the car.

"Oh, shit. That's Belch Huggins' car. We sh-should probably get out of here." Eddie said, looking back at the group.

"Wait, isn't that the homeschooled kids bike?" Bill asked, pointing it out in the grass.

"Yeah, that's Mikes." Eddie answered.

"We have to help him." Beverly said.

"We should?" Richie asked.

"Yes." Ashton responded in an obvious tone, before she and Beverly dropped their bikes and rushed towards the shouts, causing the rest of the group to drop their bikes as well, except Stan who put his on it's stand.

Next to a shallow river, The Bowers gang were shoving the homeschooled kid's face, Mike, into a large piece of meat, which Mike hated. The boy tried hard to fight against Bowers, stepping on his head. Eventually, it worked and Mike's face was in the meat while The Bowers gang kept screaming to eat it.

Mike lifted his head up and looked to the side, where across the shallow river, he saw a clown staring at him with blood on its face, eating what seemed to be the arm of a kid. The clown then used the hand to wave at Mike with a smile.

Mike, now terrified, tried getting up to run but Belch kicked his face to the side and Bowers threw him to the ground and pinned him to the rocky ground and growled loudly in his face. Bowers then picked up a rock and lifted it to hit the younger boy. Then, out of nowhere, a rock was launched at Bowers' head, causing him to fall off of Mike.

The Bowers gang and Mike looked over to see who threw it, only to see none other than Beverly Marsh standing on the other side of the river.

"Nice throw, Red." Ashton complimented.

"Thanks." Beverly said, just before Mike dragged himself into the river trying to get to his saviors.

Ashton then picked up a rock and then rushed to help Mike. The small girl grabbed his forearm and pulled him behind the rest of the group.

"You okay, Homeschool?" Ashton asked, eyes not leaving Bowers and his goons.

By the time Ashton did all that, the rest of the Losers all had rocks in their hands.

"Yeah Yeah, Thank you, so much." Mike said, panting.

Before Ashton could say something, Bowers cut her off, "Holy shit. Is that Wenbrooke?"

Ashton then looked up at the comment, confused, before Bowers continued, "Nice to see you learned how to dress, like a good girl."

"Shut up Bowers!" Stan yelled, his cheeks slightly red.

Bowers ignored his comment and said, "You Losers are trying too hard."

"They'll do you. You just gotta ask nicely." Bowers said, referencing Beverly and Ashton.

"Like I did." Bowers continued, grabbing his crotch, and pulling up while smirking.

Ben then screamed, but was meant to be taken as a war cry, before chucking a rock at Bowers' head. Stan then threw a rock at the gang as well, and The Bowers Gang caught on and rushed to pick up rocks too.

"Rock War!" Richie shouted, just before getting hit with a rock directly at his face, causing him to fall over.

The Losers then threw rocks at The Bowers Gang, while they did the same. After a bit it looked like the losers were winning, this gave Eddie and Ashton enough courage to jump into the stream, Eddie chucked a rock at Belch Huggins, hitting him in the head. Ashton threw one at Victor Criss, hitting him in the stomach. By now, Mike had also joined in throwing rocks at the group's tormentors.

Belch then screamed at Beverly, "Fuck you, Bitch!" , which caused her to hit him in the head.

Bowers ended up on the ground, and his friends then ran away. The eight losers then looked over at bowers, catching their breaths. They then decided to leave, so Stan and Eddie helped Mike up and walked away with him and Ben, Bill and Beverly shortly behind.

"Go blow your dad, you mullet wearing asshole!" Richie shouted at Bowers, flipping him off with both hands. Shortly after, Ashton came up behind Richie and pulled him away to the rest of the group, leaving Bowers alone on the ground.

Small A/N: (In It Chapter 2, Ben said they went to the clubhouse after the rock war.)

The Losers walked down a hill in a straight line.

"Thanks guys, but you shouldn't have done that, he'll be after you guys too now." Mike told the group.

"Oh no no no, Bowers, he's always after us." Eddie responded, looking back.

"I guess that's one th-th-thing we all have in common!" Bill mentioned, with a small smile.

"Yeah homeschool, Welcome to the Losers Club!" Richie shouted from the back of the line.

"Hey, guys, I have somewhere we can hide!" Ben mentioned, causing the group to stop.

"Alright new kid, show us the way." Ashton said, patting the boy's shoulder with a small smile.

Ben led the group through the forest and lifted up a wooden hatch, and climbed down.

Then Beverly climbed down as well and looked around. After her was Ashton, who had a bright smile on her face.

After Richie came down he asked, "What the dick is this? How'd you build it?" then began looking around.

Bill then added, "When did you build it?"

"Here and there, I guess. It was already dug out for something, so I just had to reinforce the walls and get some wood for the, the roof door, and that's pretty much it." Ben answered, while all the others kept looking around.

"Pretty good for my first time, huh?" Ben asked, and patted a wooden pillar, causing a wood panel to fall from the roof.

"Now that's a cool feature. What happens when you put your hand on the other pillar professor?

"Now you see, this is exactly why there are safety codes, why we have permits." Eddied ranted, smacking his hands together for emphasis.

"This place is a death trap, you understand that?" Eddie asked Ben, looking him in the eye.

"Well, it's a work in progress, okay Eddie?" Ben mumbled.

"Just so you know, I get hurt, you're liable and also what is this? The switch from Iron Maiden?" Eddie asked, pointing at a flashlight.

"That's a flashlight." Ben answered.

"And what is that, a horse hitch? When do you have horses down-Oh this is cool." Eddie asked, but then cut himself off, and picked up a paddle ball.

"That was like three dollars, so be careful with that please." Ben mumbled.

"I have one of these." Eddie mentioned, before playing with it, and making the ball go in Stan's direction.

"Hey Stan, you see this?" Eddie asked.

"Yeah, can you maybe not." Stan answered, stuttering from trying to avoid the ball.

"Maybe not what? Hold on, maybe not what, maybe not what? Be awesome and have fun and celebrate the magic of the paddle ball!" Eddie teased while making it hit Stan face over and over, before accidentally letting go and breaking the toy.

"Wow. Oh, good going fuck nut you broke his thing." Eddie blamed it on Stan.

"I broke it?!" Stan asked, ticked off.

"Yeah you broke it with your face." Eddie answered.

"Wha-" Stan was about to ask before Asthon cut him off.

"Oh shut it Spaghetti. You kept hitting him, and you broke Ben's paddle ball." Ashton said while grabbing her bag.

"Here, I won it at the arcade." Asthon mentioned, grabbing a paddle ball from her bag and handing it to Ben.

"Thanks!" Ben thanked, smiling brightly.

"Now, Spaghetti. Apologize." Ashton said, standing in between Eddie and Stan.

"What?! He broke it! Not me!" Eddie shouted.

Ashton then crossed her arms, and raised an eyebrow, "Eddie."

"Ugh! Fine! I'm sorry." Eddie said, looking at Stan.

"Thanks," Stan said, mostly to Ashton.

Mike then chuckled a bit, causing Richie, Bill and Bev to as well.

"What?" Ashton asked.

"It's just, you're kinda like the mom of the group. I think you'd be a good one." Mike answered with a smile.

"Ouch, how dare you." Ashton teased with a smile as she leaned against the wall.

"So wh-what do you g-guys think we should c-call this place?" Bill stuttered out.

"Obviously, The Clubhouse." Richie answered.

The group agreed, glad that they had a place to escape their problems and hang out with each other.
