Hiiii it's me again 😌 so I was reading that one fic you did where y/n convinces homie not to kill a rude coworker and was wondering about the whole pacifist. I understand wanting to be a peaceful person completely but as someone with anger issues I also feel like pacifism can only be done to a certain extent. So I was wondering, what would be the thing to make y/n crashout? And how would homie react? Would he be mad that they got into a fight? Would he be proud bc his s/o just beat up someone that is bigger than them? Id love to know your thoughts on this.

If I can give a bit of an explanation here, I'll try not to go on too long lol. I was abused for about 10 years of my childhood, which is why I connect so strongly with Homelander. And it's also why I reflect my own experiences when I write my Homelander x Reader fics.

But for myself in terms of how I deal with stress, I'm the opposite of Homie. He reacts externally and aggressively, his go-to is to threaten and to commit violence. I don't get mad when I'm stressed, I react internally. I go silent, shutting down and dissociating because it's too much for me to handle. I was hurt as a child, and never want to enact that hurt onto others. Meanwhile, Homelander does.

This dichotomy is what I like to reflect with Homelander and the reader. They are not the type of person to get angry and lash out, regardless of what happens in a tense situation. They want to use their logic to avoid aggression at all costs. That's why I label them as more of a pacifist. They're also a mediator, which is why their relationship with Homie involves them being the one to calm him down when he's on the edge. I kinda envision them being two sides of the same coin; they've both gone through trauma in their childhoods, and although they deal with their issues differently, they understand each other all the same.

I apologize if this wasn't really the answer you were looking for, but hopefully this explains my reasonings well enough! I'm also including a little goofy doodle to visualize their dynamic. 😂

The queercoding in Sangcheol's and Jeongwoo's relationship

Let me preface this by saying: everyone is still allowed to see them as whatever they want (a work related relationship, best friends, close friends, soulmates, lovers, and and and) but I think most (if not all at least here on tumblr) can agree it would be ignorant if we completely overshadow just how much queerness there is.

This analysis is brough to you by this thread (why JW is snow white and why SC is the prince) and @thedevildeer latest post. Its not structured and really just a ramble so excuse me if it might sound a little confusing at some points.

Let's start by looking at it through a heteronormative kdrama lense below the cut 

How often do most kdrama fans watch a drama, see the lead man and the lead woman and think "woah, they would look so hot as a couple" even when the drama isn't a romance? Quite often, that's right. That's because most M/F leads are designed to be shipped even outside of the stereotypical romance genre. If it's a crime drama, thriller, mystery etc. Where the focus should solely lie on the plot they will still most likely try to create an M/F duo so most kdrama fans will have something to latch into. It has happened so many times that people dropped a non romance drama because it had no M/F couple, but people apparently want it so badly because how else can they enjoy a non romance drama, right? And kdrama directors/writers know this- they see and read the reviews and work with them; That's why in kdrama land M/F ships are still the norm, still seen as the most canon- even if there is a 2nd ML who has insane chemistry with the 1st ML (perhaps even more than the FL, cuz let's also face it in a lot of kdramas women are written flat)

When the ML is near the FL, everyone immediately interprets all kinds of thoughts into it, even worse when they go as far as to look at each other and hold eye contact, when they worry about each other, support each other, visit each other or are just having a work related conversation. They dont need to confess their love or kiss for the viewer to know they are in love*

Those are all valid points for shipping, that's obivously not the issue- The issue starts when they genuinely can't see the FL as her own character, when they can't seem to understand that men and women can be platonic friends, the issue continues when the 2nd ML appears whos got way more chemistry with the 1st ML or even takes the place of where the FL should be. Its then where the issue peaks- their relationship will automatically treated differently (2nd ML get potentially hated by the M/F shippers even) and it creates rift within the fandom, its shipping and arguments about queerness as a whole (discrediting that queerness is a large spectrum) by cishet fans

Suddenly, if it's M/M those actions I mentioned earlier dont seem romantic anymore, suddenly it's just a simple bromance (and while the term per se isnt homophobic, in these circumstances it sure sounds like it which is why I personally dont like it and rarely use it), best friends caring about each other because homies are homies. ("why can't men stay friends?" we all know that argument) *if they don't confess to each other outright, don't kiss each other, then they aren't i love (last part especially is targeted towards specific BL fans who only think a relationship is valed if they kiss and maje out)

So, this out the way let take a look at SC, JW, HS and BO approach (intentionally or not) on queercoding and the importance of a strong man-woman friendship.

First, let's look at tropes commonly (but not exclusively) found in queer media or media that tries to imply queerness and the similarities they share with SCJW:

Found family (the most common trope in queer media, especially the media that emphasises on realness, as found family serves as a safe space for queer characters when they arent accepted at home)

A strong opposite gender friendship or a friendship that defies traditional views

Color coding (mostly a warm and a cold colour, often times its blue and red)

Language coding (do the characters say they are queer, do they use specific terms, do they confess or declare their love for each other through something deeper; just what are they saying?)

The character design (this is not just about how they look but the desgin as a whole: background story, family, friendships, career, driving force, are they representing something (like a specific color, a flower); what was the creators thought process while creating them)

How do they express love around the person they ador (for example, men express love with touches while women often times use words and actions)

Broken friendships (because old friends dont accept)

Then of course we have common tropes found in all media highlighting love

Clothes sharing

Intense eye contact

Personal space

Lingering

Caring

Hurt/Comfort

Touches

And what do we have here? That's right. Black out s well as SC, JW and HS fit right into the common tropes and the queercoding tropes and yet we see some totally discrediting its validity to exist within the universe because god forbid both JW and SC are queer or viewed as such cuz they both were with women prior and they can't possibly be one of them queers... right?

HS is a really well written female character who's got nuances, a great backstory with a fair share of suffering and the additional nosiness which makes her so special. She is sweet and caring to everyone who seems nice in her eyes. She cares about JW's mother (prior to knowng he's JW's mother so thers no point in saying she does it cuz of JW), cares about Suoh and is genuinely interested in his hobbies. Her character takes care of everyone because she's a med student (you can take a med's job away, but you can never take the job out of a med). This is what her character is about- taking care, worrying. Her purpose in Mucheon was (as we know by ep.13) to find what shes looking for, to find her way back. She is by no means not connected to eithe JW and SC but her story is canonically detached from both JW's and SC's- it takes part in a different pace, in a different setting and through a different lense and most of it happens off screen or throug her observig the people. We rarely get any of her POV's, unless it's either around Suoh or Geonoh. The other times when we do get a POV of her is when SC and JW and in the same frame. Then she is postitioned as the onlooker, the one who observes. When she is alone with JW she gets almost no POV, even less that focuses on her feelings towards him. But the most important thing I said already: her story is detached from SCJW. She grows alone unlike SCJW who grow together. She is that friendship JW needed to show him a part of humanity that got lost with his fake friends. She is to represent and tell that you do not need a large group of friends to feel at home. 

Then there is JW. Beautifully written full of nuances, a tragic yet amazing written backstory- easily to read as a story of someone being queer. A big group of friends, a beautiful home with loving parents and then you got the catalysator which sets the whole plot moving. While for JW it's murder, abuse, gaslighting by friends and people he thought were family, prison and finding new hope in humanity through one person- how can one not look at this and think "yeah it's somewhat reminiscent of someone coming out in a conservative country with traditional family values"? Family and friends ditching before the person can even stand up for themselves, people spreading venomous lies, all the guilt trips, that person shutting themselfs off retreating into their own little world. JW was obviously never meant to be read as such and some even might find this part weird, but it's undeniable he has those classic queercoding tropes. He finds true meaning in humanity again through HS and SC at the same time, yes, but it is SC alone who stands by his side the whole time- every single day. JW feels the safest around SC, falls asleep in his home (therefore also in his presence) and gives in to being taken care of only when SC is around, he also laughs at his dumbs jokes and makes sure to catch his reactions when he is sassy (handing out flyers scene or the scene at the scrapyard). JW is meant to not grow alone but together with someone else- and that someone is SC. who he shares the exact same pain with. He sees the good in people- he sees the good in SC so he keeps on pursuing him even when he would reject him. Because he can see himself in him. Because he feels he's different- just like him. (And isnt it like: Queer people know someone is queer when they see one?). We cannot forget him being a metaphor for Snow White which imo solidifies the queercoding in him even more and how he steps in to save SC and then again to support him by beating up those debt collectors. (Also, just a random little side note: I think it's funny how he's either loved or hated, there was no inbetween. BM and MS hated him, they were eaten up by jealousy; BY, NG, DE and the twins loved him (also again, random side note to me any anyone who cares: it's so easy to read the feelings GO felt towards JW prior and post time skip as more than just friendship tbh which again, adds to the queerness layer))

And then there is SC, just as complex and full of nuances like JW. Having an almost identical tragic backstory to hm even- losing the love of his life. While hes story is way more difficult to decipher as queercoding, his character is most definitely not. He is portrayed as rude and rough towards any criminal and at the beginning of the story we genuienly dont know where we stand with him with this ever fluxuating personality. He is hurt, struggles, doesn't even seem to know himself very well, has seen a lot and he also doesnt trust anyone (as seen when he immediately clocks BM as suspicious when the review the CCTV footage) except JW. How come he trusts him more, even after he had accused him of the hit and run accident, but is side eying everyone the moment the incident with the mother happens? When he should have more trust in his own people then defending and caring for a guy whos accused him of causing the car accident. Even when he finds out JW apparently killed the girls, his actions towards him are differet than the actions we see him taking against the guy he chases after in the beginning. We see him falter and struggle even more in the manhole when he's threatening to shoot JW, we see it again when they are at the shed and JW is reinacting the murder scene- he is reluctant. Even when using violence against JW. Because, just like him, SC feels they are the same. And it doesn't even take much time for him to switch side- we can see him questioning everything onwards from from episode 4 during their first team dinner. And when he switches side he suddenly becomes so soft and caring- completely taking on the role of a possible love interest in both drama, romance and fairytale. Because he has seen the good in JW, saw the same suffering, this unfair treatment. He is a character not meant to grow alone but together and this togethes is only JW. JW still has HS by his side but in SC's world there was only JW who shows him all aspects of what it means to be a good human being. It's through him he grows. 

Their shared journey:

To quote Leo Buscaglia again "Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."

And isn't this what SC's and JW's shared bond is about? How they grow with and around each other- thanks to each other.

The little things SC does to make JW more comfortable, to show him love still exists? He takes him home without thinking twice because he's worried he might get sick when he could've taken him back to his house. He dresses him up in his clothes, let him sleep on his couch, in his blankets, gives him something warm to eat and drink (the glass of milk will never stop making me sob), showers him in touches and shows him warmth through them, always reaching after him because he's afraid something might happen to him, watches out for him, observes his reactions and waits for him. The little things JW does to SC- giving him a reality check that not everything is as it seems, graduately bringing back his old personality, stays by his side.

It's how SC brings JW's smile back and how JW brings SC's smile back. Its how SC not once but twice declares his worries, adoration and love towards JW: once when he's so worried sick JW might get hurt so he installs that app on his phone and the second time when they say their "goodbyes"- those words are so easy to read, so full of love. The "if you move" highlighting just how much he wants and hopes JW to stay in his life a little longer. It's longing and we can clearly hear it in his voice when he says "I'm sure you can" right after the monologue and then tilts his head. It's how JW doesn't know how to approach him after this, contemplating what to do and then goes on for the hug first. This is JW's way of showing his love. 

And yet, despite it all there are still people who only see it as a bromance. Those who think JW and HS will end up together because they are at the same uni, study the same. And are a man and a woman. If either SC or JW would be a woman, no one would even bat an eye to think they aren't in love- no one would even come up with the idea to even ship JW and HS. If one of them was a woman, every little gesture would be seen as romantic, betting on it the drama would perhaps even be a lot more popular as well as the ship. It's so disheartening to see how many deny an obvious queercoding between them just because they are men and for the sake of a straight, not well manouvred, ship because again apparenlty many kdrama fans don't dare to ship queer.

We know Black Out/Snow white must die is a fairytale because it very much is just one of many iterations of a snow white and exactly because is one of many nothing is impossible and queerness is allowed to exist within it.

I have always found it more than a little funny when the fandom props up one of the rats with a seething hatred for the other(s), citing the treatment that sibling gave to the other, when like,,,, they were all terrible to each other???? This is coming from someone who loves and adores all three, but like be so fr

Now I, someone who has three siblings as well, can excuse some of the teasing as sibling stuff. Some of the jabs as well. That's just what we do. Also some of it is just sitcom stuff. But.

We all know the infamous "Adam physically abuses Chase" argument. This is completely true, he does, and it's a problem. However Chase is not at all innocent. He's very much verbally abusive back to Adam, and Bree as well. Bree herself is verbally abusive to them both, and even has encouraged Adam to hit Chase in some episodes. She lashes out at them a lot more than necessary, and Chase belittles them both (Adam particularly). In summary: THEY ALL SUCKED TO EACH OTHER. No one treated one worse, even though Chase's abuse was considered more alarming by the fans because it was so overt, which is why everyone focuses on it.

Also,,, I think the real problem sometimes gets lost. His name is Donald Davenport. These kids were isolated, bionic, and without a parental figure that showed much emotional intelligence until Leo and more relevantly Tasha came around. Without the ability to socialize they didn't grow up understanding what is okay and what isn't, which is why Bree and Adam find Adam bruising Chase to the point of him being unable to wear short sleeves funny, Bree and Chase enjoy sniping at Adam's intelligence together, and the boys go overboard with screwing over Bree's chances at normalcy. This is the way they were raised, and Donald NEVER bothered to correct them, save for a few instances. It's also canon that he intentionally keeps an unbalanced power dynamic with Adam being the strongest overall, which encourages his behavior too. Playing devil's advocate, it was fair of him to keep them somewhat isolated when they were younger and unpredictable, but the extent to which it affected their behavior is not excusable. Basically Donald sucks regardless of opinions on the character, because he canonically doesn't try to fix the issues and will encourage them to treat each other the way they do, directly or indirectly by doing nothing about it when he's the parent and it's his job

So if you hate one of the characters for the way they treated the other, it's a little unfounded

If you guys are out and he notices you getting overwhelmed, he tries to separate you from the situation

And while he loves hang outs, kick backs, nights out ect, he also loves just hanging out with you at home, quietly watching you play games or read together

I will say he does fall into the trap of finding your shyness cute.

Your flustered body language as you try to hide yourself away in social situations, He finds it cute!

And I honestly think he has a little bit of a hard time understanding your discomfort being around friends.

I mean, think about it. He’s a lonely guy with not a lot of friends. Gojo loves to attend social gatherings and hang outs, because they make him less lonely.

Why would anyone want to be lonely?

I also think he would have a pretty hard time giving you space ngl

Like, you just want to read alone but he wants to be right next to you. 

So, you have to be blunt with no room for misinterpretation when you need space. Just like real life!

Then it comes out, that at the hype of the covid pandemic, when the medical testing supplies were in short supply, Americans were unsure, scared, dying by the thousands, and instead of ensuring these supplies went to Americans, he sent large shipments to Putin. Then, after he knew he had lost the election, he took a plethora of classified documents, war plans, state secrets, and tried to hide them at his various residences. Why? I’ll give you 3 guesses. Putin. Russia. Kremlin. A while later Putin’s buddy Orban makes a stop at maralardo, coincidentally directing after meeting up with Putin. A little after that reporting comes out that Trump has had numerous calls with Putin where he had everyone clear the room for him to talk. Recently, All the sudden, out of nowhere, an unlikely oligarch, who Trump has criticized in the past, Trump has nothing but disdain for electric vehicles, or any renewable energy for that matter, a guy who Steve Bannon, trumps lieutenant, despises and ridicules, Elon Musk, becomes homies with Trump. NOW, it turns out Musk and Putin have been in cahoots for years! Let me spell this out for y’all again. TRUMP IS A RUSSIAN ASSET. It’s Plain as day! So stand with your country. Hell yeah, I've got you, homie. This is the roughest of rough drafts right now, so it sounds a little sloppy. But it'll work.

——— He made an effort to see Steve every morning. Which made his uncle suspicious, an understandable circumstance, but Eddie tended to have a good excuse. Even if it was a half-yelled thing out the door. He pulled that this morning on his way to the dock. When he arrived, he found the boat to be rocking as if it was sitting on uneasy waters.

It wasn’t, which in turn made Eddie’s hackles rise. But he feigned ignorance. Steve was waiting for him out there, probably confused as to why he’s running late, wondering where his new friend has gone. Eddie can’t even begin to believe that he’s friends with a mermaid, let alone a merman, let alone a merman that he sorta—kinda—maybe he’s falling ass over heels with. Maybe.

With his back turned to the ocean waves, Eddie can settle all his supplies before undoing the rope tying him to the dock. And when he’s off, he takes grand notice to the fact that the boat feels a bit…heavier. He brushes it off, for now. His uncle probably made a midday trip or maybe there’s some leftover equipment that shouldn’t be there. The covered seating area may have an extra net, but Eddie won’t investigate. All is usual. Or as usual as it should be.

However, when he finally slows in the water, everything seems just a bit more off. The net doesn’t get climbed into. There’s no flickering light of Steve’s beautiful tail. In fact, Eddie’s completely alone. Something in him sours, just a tad.

He gets about his morning fishing. Getting the tackle. Baiting the hook. Tossing it over the side. And then he just sits and waits. His least favorite part about fishing. All the ways in which he has to wait. Maybe he liked having Steve there because he’s a buffer. An odd ball thing that has broken English and moles all over his naked skin, who keeps bringing Eddie copious amounts of pearls even when there’s nothing to give back, a merman who just wants a home with love. To which Eddie wishes he could supply.

After a few minutes more of silence and waiting and no fish, Eddie gets ready to call it a day. Cut his losses. Mourn his tentative friendship. Maybe even wonder if he’d been hallucinating Steve’s existence this entire time. But just as he stands to reel in the line, something big with short claws grips to his ankle viciously.

He yelps, stumbling. Tripping over the little bench he’d been sat on. Landing with a resound thunk against the boat’s floor.

Yeah. A continuation to this series. Oops.

Characters: Gorou, Itto, Kaeya, Lisa, Pantalone, Pierro

Gorou, after a few moments of initial confusion, goes full puppy mode. The pupils dilate and he perks right up and will lean right in to get you back. He LOVES nontraditional displays of affection. His tail starts wagging and he jumps up and down. You've just started something that you may not ever be able to stop.

Itto laughs at first, like full hearty chest laugh as he struggles to wrap his head around what the heck you think you're doing. He finds it really cute and endearing and will probably give you some kind of relevant nickname relating to it - he also probably tries to bait you into biting him every now and then - if anyone understands non-traditional displays of affection, it's Arataki 'kisses his homies goodnight' Itto.

Kaeya immediately takes it as some kind of flirty act. He raises his eyebrows in that suggestive way and purrs out something about how you should've at least bought him dinner first. He'll shrug it off as a one-time thing, but will subtly do things to encourage you to do it again, just so he can tease you about it once more, because he thinks your expressions are cute, and the fact that you do it at all is fascinating to him.

Lisa takes a moment to process what just happened, but very quickly gets over it. Razor and Klee are definitely well-known affectionate biters, and being their tutor she tends to receive a pretty decent amount of said biting. She'll chuckle and say something mildly teasing or offer you a snack, but a little later she may try to politely bring up the idea of a chewy piece of jewelry or something along those lines. Despite her endearment towards it, she does not particularly enjoy being used as a chew toy.

Pantalone will scold you. No hesitation, no processing time, just him sharply drawing away and hissing out an almost scathing "you stop that right now!" he's a huge germophobe and will probably end up swapping out the clothing or glove you bit. It's nothing personal, he's just extremely finicky about personal hygiene.

Pierro is completely and utterly stumped. He has no idea what you just did, or why you did it. He borders on annoyed and will question you about it - if you can't provide an answer, he just storms off in a huff (though in reality, he's going to go consult his 'sources' about what kind of modern trend biting people is).

What are some of your favorite manga of all time?

Oh this will be one of the easiest asks I've ever received! You've got me all hype, anon!

Fruits Basket

Wanna get me to talk for hours? Mention Fruits Basket. This was the first manga I ever read back when I was still in elementary school and I've never grown out of my love for the series. I will always have a spot for this manga but it's honestly perfection to me.

I love the characters, the messages, the themes and the emotional depth this manga has made me feel over the years? I honestly wish I could experience Fruits Basket all over again. This is without a doubt my favorite shoujo manga of all time. I love all the characters, I love all the ships. Some of my favorite characters off rip have to be Tohru, Shigure, Hatsuharu and Arisa and Saki. But make no mistake I adore Yuki and Kyo and so on and so forth.

This series does such a great job in such a complicated subject matter concerning neglect and abuse in a way that humanizes the abuser without using said humanization to justify their shitty actions. You leave those moments understanding how that person became how they are but can still completely acknowledge how terrible they are. How you don't have to forgive that person for what they did. And that, if you do forgive that person, that doesn't mean you're just letting bygones be bygones and being kumbaya with them. You can forgive and forget or you can forgive and never forget and that's okay. Your forgiving and moving forward for yourself, not them. And that's one of the things I really liked in the series.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Another series you can get me talking for hours about. You will catch me watching video essay after video essay analyzing this story. I was so into FMA during middle school, one of my moms even bought me the games and made it habit to occasionally buy me the volumes! This is without a doubt, the best shounen has to offer. Quality female characters? Amazing action scenes? Stunning romance? Banger after banger with so many panels I can still recall perfectly.

My favorite volume is definitely volume 15! Because of the manga, Brotherhood is my preference when it comes to the anime adaptations. It has all the homies in it. Another series I wish I could just start from the beginning again with no memory of the source material. These brothers and their friends have altered the chemistry of my brain.

Still believe that one day Yozawa will grace us with her beautiful art and storytelling all over again. NANA was my first ever jousei read and my dive into jousei as a whole. Until that point all I had consumed were shounen and shoujo so the maturity of the series was one I wasn't expecting. I consumed this series when I was about in early to late middle school and it was so much fun to read.

Now that I'm in my late 20s, holy hell is this hard to binge the way I used to because the themes, the struggles of the character and the realism of those struggles are hitting a little too close to home now. So I can only do NANA in small doses now haha. I even got both of my moms into NANA. Which isn't too impressive when one of my moms has watched the anime of every manga I've mentioned on this ask, but my other mom is NOT an anime fan and she loves NANA so much.

Children of the Sea

Oh my goodness, you definitely oh it to yourself to read this manga. It's not a long a read by any means with only 5 volumes and 43 chapters but it was such a pleasure to read. Maybe this bias comes from someone obsessed with the ocean (which my url definitely implies) and the life teeming underneath the surface but wow this was truly an experience. I watched the movie first and then read the manga, and I'm not sure if that'll shape anyone's viewing experience differently but I do wish I had read the manga first. But both are truly great to check out.

If you want a story about a girl meeting two boys raised by dugongs, this is the story for you. One of my favorite aspects of this read were the side stories labeled Testimony of the Sea. It adds so much to the story without even directly influencing the plot as you see all the strange phenomena that take place in the sea leading up to this mysterious event drawing in our protagonists and what will continue well after its conclusion.

Skip & Loafer

Currently ongoing and a series I was not expecting to like as much as I did. I'm one of the people who got into sukirofa after the anime dropped. 2 episodes in and seeing the absolute beauty and grace of how the staff handled the protagonist's transgender aunt, I had to give this a read and I do not regret in the slightest. This is such a great series and a perfect example how one utilizes 'don't judge a book by its cover'.

Characters you meet at first glance? It only takes a chapter or two before their layers are peeled back and you see how much went in to crafting them and making them more complex than meets the eye. A perfect example of this is the character Mika.

But my favorite chapter has to be ch 29 where you learn what made Nao decide to come out and transition. If you haven't read this series, I won't spoil it, you have to read it for yourself. Prepare for a monthly update schedule, because once that day of the month pops up, it's amazing to see how the sukirofa fandom comes together to scream on twitter and tumblr.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

The series that gave birth to the greatest hater in anime history. Araki truly drinks and leaves no molecules every time a part comes out. Another ongoing series I didn't expect to like as much as I did. But it's become a series close to my heart since diving into it after I got over my initial hesitance with the art style. Honestly JJBA's art style really grows on you, especially as you see Araki's art and writing develop so spectacularly.

You get equal parts continuous story and standalone adventure. You do need other pieces of the pie, but each part still feels so rich and in-depth and bright and colorful. You don't feel like the new JoJo and characters introduced are extensions of previous existing ones or usurpers that have stolen the panels away from other characters. It's like watching a torch be passed down from JoJo to JoJo, generation to generation (which it technically is since this story follows the descendants of the JoJo that started it all, Jonathan Joestar).

Araki's biggest source of writing inspiration came from how he felt watching Prince concerts. How the story of the concert would suddenly flip and give you a whole new experience. I feel he truly has that down with JJBA.

Concubine Walkthrough

Can't believe I even forgot to add Concubine Walkthrough, so take this quick addendum. This is one of the best manhwa I've ever read in my life and not enough people talk about it. I'm working on a post right now all about why I recommend it.

If you're a fan of sci-fi, romance and want to read an otome isekai romp that subverts your expectations? Please read this manhwa. It's The Matrix mixed with historical Korean fiction (and of course, otome isekai at its finest).

I loved loved LOVED the philosophy behind the story, the themes. The discussion of what reality is and choosing what reality means/is to you. Just because your entire life is a simulation, does that make your entire life up until that point irrelevant? Simulated it may be, your joy, your pain, your love, all of that still felt real, right? There were so many things I never considered about that very topic until I read this series and I feel like more people should give it a go. It's not that long a read (only 128 chapters for the main story with some extra bonus content on the side), please please PLEASE read Concubine Walkthrough if you haven't already.

-Now for all Dude's, any sort of pregnancy is completely unexpected, but he's also someone who tends to not do what he's supposed to in order to prevent these sorta things (dumbass). But, I will say that P3 does have a better reaction to it than Alt Dude.

-Would it be wrong to say that I can see P3 being surprisingly great with kids? Would he make an excellent dad? Oh, god no. This is Postal Dude we're talking about. But if you hand him a kid to take care of for a few hours, he fairs well and the kid gets a wild story to tell their friends.

-So for his partner to tell him that they're pregnant would be quite the shock, but he's quick to warm up to it. Quick to adjust to the demands of a pregnancy. Trying his best to be the dutiful boyfriend/husband he can be

-He's someone you can send you to get what your craving, but also the same person to end up eating all of the said thing you're craving. It's that single braincell. He sees the food, he eated the food. Gotta hide the good snacks from him cause they will be gone within five seconds.

-To be honest, Alt Dude would be the type to dip or tell you to get rid of it. He doesn't wanna be responsible for a baby. (He wants to be babied, jkjk) And he's one of the worse options to pick to take care of a kid. He just doesn't understand them nor does he try to.

-But let's say you were able to convince him to keep the baby and that things will work out (or you just want some dad Alt Dude), he'll go along with it begrudgingly but kinda warms up to it as time goes on (but he'll never admit it). He's kinda an ass though, not wanting to run out to get the food your craving when it's the middle of the night and he's trying to sleep. And if you try to get argumentative with him, he's ready to argue back. You'll sometimes get an apology and he'll make up for it.

-I can also see him being rather aggressively overprotective of his partner during the pregnancy. You thought you were gonna be mama bear? Hell no! That's Dude's job. Yeah, somehow that maternal protectiveness you have somehow got transferred to him by accident. He almost won't let you leave the trailer cause he doesn't trust anyone. Man is ready to kill for you and the unborn child

-This poor man doesn't realize what he's getting into. Like, I'm sure he'll grow to love his kid, but he's gonna struggle with the gross aspects of raising a kid. He's a weakling. Also tends to give in easily to the kids demands. He will also try to compete with the kid for your affection

-Alt Dude vs kid. Kid wins every time. Homie never stood a chance

-And as a side note, that man is gonna go crazy for your post-partum body. Like, any pregnancy weight that you still have will be greatly loved and cherished by him. Maybe a little too much…
