Personally i doubt thor knows loki loves him
U know what I'm gonna take the challenge on this one. Now, this post will only discuss their relationship in the movies before Ragnarok, because I don't really like that movie and I think it did a great disservice to both the characters and their relationship; the brightest and best of them comes from Thor, Avengers, and Dark World in my opinion, so I will be talking about what I love rather than what I have at best apathy for. Sticking it under the cut (it got looooong because I love to think about their dynamic), so if you want my opinion, read on, and if you've seen enough opinions for a lifetime and don't want any more, scrumble away and have a lovely day
Okay so let's start with Thor. In the beginning of that movie, there is absolutely no doubt in Thor's heart that Loki loves him, and here's why: Thor is an arrogant man who is largely blind to the things he doesn't agree with or understand. He has this mentality of other people just being made to love and adore him, because he's the future warrior king of Asgard, he's the golden boy, and because Asgard's people really do love and adore him, so his arrogance is only being confirmed by other people's actions. And of course, there's nobody who should love and adore Thor more than his brother, right?
Now, here's where I want to digress for a minute to talk about how incredibly unhealthy their relationship is. Thor kind of has the same outlook that Loki expresses in Avengers, that people are beneath him, and that's why they should all be looking up to him with awe and praise, and that extends even to his own brother. He tells Loki to mind his place and kind of brushes off his advice, because even though they're brothers and that's the closest anyone could get to being his equal, it's still not enough. Thor views Loki as another person who is beneath him, but who ultimately can't do anything but look up to him and love him.
This is an illusion.
Loki does love Thor. Their relationship, with how complicated and messy it is, only works if they truly love each other, and they do. But it's not the blind, adulating love that Thor expects. It's a jealous, aching love. Loki craves being equal to Thor, a problem that's only exacerbated by the way Thor denies him that position. He craves to be loved as he's assumed to love. And the problem with a love like that is how quickly it can turn. If Thor won't give Loki the affection he needs, then Loki isn't going to show Thor affection the way Thor wants him to, either.
That first movie is in multiple ways a brutal awakening for Thor. He's not the man his father wants him to be. His entire life he's been training to be king and then that future seems like it's been ripped away from him. He has his power and then it's all gone. And his brother, this person around whom he's constructed a narrative of almost reverent adoration, suddenly turns against him, tries to keep him in exile and then to kill him, tries to take the life that was promised to Thor. That looks absolutely nothing like the love Thor has believed Loki feels for him.
I would feel some doubt at that point. I think anyone would. My sibling tried to kill me. Does he still love me? Did he ever love me?
And to add to that natural doubt, Thor doesn't understand Loki. He never really has. He doesn't know what it's like to be, as Loki says later, living in the shade of someone else's greatness, the trickster brother who's never really trusted, let alone lauded. And correct me if I'm wrong, but even by the end of Thor, he doesn't know what really tipped Loki off the deep end. He doesn't know that Loki's just found out he's a Jotun in a land of Asgardians, that he's the very thing he's been brought up to hate and fear, so Thor doesn't understand why Loki is acting so erratically, which must compound the doubt for him. From his point of view it's like a light switch flicked and now Loki's trying to kill him, which increases the did he ever? question. Was it always a facade? And I don't think Thor ever quite realizes the illusion he built around Loki, the difference between his expectations and reality to begin with, so he also wouldn't be seeing that it's not quite instantaneous, that there were years of building resentment and longing that contributed to the tipping point of Loki's changed behavior.
So by the end of Thor, yes, he's got to be wondering if Loki loved him.
But when Thor appears in Avengers, do you remember what plea he makes? He says I grieved for you, I want you to come home. That's not the kind of thing you say to someone you think doesn't care about you. That's a plea to the heart. That's Thor trying to get to the love he knows is in there somewhere, behind everything else that's built up around Loki's heart; that's Thor saying I know you still love me, I don't know what changed, but please let our bond be enough to fix it. Whatever he's been thinking about between the events of those two movies, he's moved past that doubt enough to think maybe Loki's love for him will be enough to bring him home, even if some part of him expects Loki to say no anyway. We know that in the interim he learned of Loki's status as a Jotun, so maybe Thor's even begun to try to understand. Maybe he's been thinking about the fact that life got very hard and very confusing for Loki very suddenly, and he wonders if now that some time has passed, there's a chance Loki wants to come back and work through it with him and their parents. When he says "we were raised together, we played together, we fought together," he's not just trying to convince Loki that he's loved, he's trying to remind Loki of his own love.
Again, during the Battle of New York itself, Thor makes a similar plea. He offers that he and Loki stop the fight together, and his eyes are so incredibly soft when he says it, you know he believes it can still work. That belief comes from knowing there's something in Loki that wants to say yes, something that loves Thor enough to give up his dream of kingdom and stop the invasion. His use of together is interesting not just because he's offering Loki a way out, putting it on the table that Loki can exercise his heart and choose a better path, but also because he's finally putting Loki on the same level he is. We can do this, we can return home, you just have to find some part of you that loves me enough to choose equality with me in this fight over equality with me in having thrones. He also holds back when he's dueling Loki, which is a horrible idea if you actually believe a person has the capacity to kill you, but if you don't believe that, it's an ultimate show of trust. Thor kind of puts his life in Loki's hands by not using his full strength, and only after Loki rejects his offer and stabs him does he finally use more brute force, although it's still not enough to kill Loki or even knock him out. Thor really believes, not just wants to believe, that Loki will not kill him given the chance, that there is something in him that wants to go home, and it's all because Thor, after all his shattered illusions, still believes there is love for him in Loki's heart, even if it has been touched and twisted by anger and pain.
In Dark World, Thor is much more pessimistic when he breaks Loki out of jail. He basically says that his brother is no longer in there, that he won't hesitate to kill Loki if he steps out of line. I think this is important to note because Thor isn't saying I don't believe you love me anymore, he's saying the person who loved me is dead and this shell is all that remains. Thor says he no longer has hope, but he's still clinging to that belief that Loki did love him, in his own way, and he would rather view Loki as dead than let go of it.
But beyond that, there's the fact that he not only lets Loki out of the handcuffs, he gives Loki a knife. Once again, you don't give a weapon to someone you wouldn't trust not to kill you, and you don't trust someone you've had so much tension with not to kill you unless you believe they love you. Loki says "trust my rage" re: Frigga being killed, but I would argue that actually wouldn't go in his favor. Thor has seen what Loki resorts to when he's not processing his emotions in any way other than rage: he attacks Thor, he falls into perfidy, he just lashes out at the closest target. And even despite that, despite having fought Loki in Thor and in Avengers, having witnessed firsthand what destruction Loki was willing to either cause or help facilitate, Thor still gives him a weapon and trusts that Loki isn't going to kill him. There is clearly still a part of Thor that is saying he loves me, he's not going to kill me.
Of course, by the end of that movie, Thor is rewarded in his faith. Loki stabs Kurse to save Thor, and it appears to cost him his life, and as he's dying, what does Thor say? Stay with me. In essence, loving me so much you'll die for me isn't enough, love me so much you'll stay alive for me. It's not a rational thing to say to someone who appears to be bleeding out; a person can't generally stave off death on willpower alone when they've been stabbed in the gut. Thor always ends up speaking to Loki's heart, because he knows that heart is bitter and full of rage and grief but also love, even though Loki is absolutely horrible at expressing it most of the time. I want to talk about why Loki might've faked his death and taken Odin's place at the end of that movie in another post, but part of me really thinks he chose that specific way to fake his death because he wanted Thor to see that Loki did love him, and that was the only way he could think of to reach out without actually having to confront his own pain and the enormity of the breach between them. Now, the "I didn't do it for him" could be taken one of two ways: it was actually for Frigga, or it was actually for Thor. I'm very much inclined to believe the latter, as Thor is the one present in the scene. Also, the expression on Thor's face when Loki says that is so frozen, like yes, I wanted more than anything to be told that you still care, but not like this. And it feels like Loki is doing his best to communicate that he does love Thor, but his communication skills, especially with Thor, are severely distorted, partially by that unhealthy relationship they had early on where he most likely never felt entirely welcome to speak his true feelings, and partially by the chasm that opened between them when Loki went into his downward spiral of destruction, both of himself and of others. I genuinely think Loki doesn't know how to just say it. To quote myself from an earlier post I made about Loki, he feels like "there’s no way he can possibly repair the relationships he’s broken," so he doesn't try to apologize and make up for it. Like someone else (I forget who) has already said, sacrifice is the way Loki makes up for things. So he gives Thor this image of a sacrifice, the ultimate expression of love and devotion, because he doesn't know how else to say it.
What's the point of all this? Thor knew Loki loved him. That's the whole point of their story. Their love for each other is the cornerstone on which that immense cosmic narrative is built. Even with doubt, anger, bitterness, frustration, grief, pain all complicating their relationship and getting in the way of actually expressing love to each other, the fundamental truth of Thor and Loki is love. Is faith. Is hope. Is saying maybe you don't know how to say it, maybe you're trying to shut it down, but I know there is something in you that loves me and that's the part I choose to believe in.
Thor knew Loki loved him.
#I'm so sorry to the person who submitted this ask they were probably not looking for a post of this length#but I meditate on thor and Loki's dynamic night and day now apparently so I figured I might as well write it down#also if you've read the whole thing 🌟 here is a gold star for you#you're probably as nutty in the head as I am lol#I just cannot get enough of the way thor believes in loki#it's really quite beautiful#and it's all so sad because Loki just doesn't know how he can possibly get out of the hole he's dug so he digs in further#but thor always gives him another chance#my heart <\3#thor#loki#thor 1#thor the dark world#avengers#avengers 1#character analysis#meta#character meta#marvel#mcu#marvel cinematic universe#emotional analysis#yeehaw#love#martianbugsbunny answers asks#martianbugsbunny opines

anyways was thinking of a thor ragnarok rewrite last night as sleep refused to take me. obviously it can't be exactly like actual ragnarok bc marvel/mcu's norse stuff is..nothing like actual norse lore but i figured it could still have some more similarities than what the actual movie did.
(also if i were to rewrite the movie this isn't actually what id do, this was just. idk. what i was thinkin about as i was desperate to actually falll asleep).
anyways i figured this rewrite would actually work best if it rewrote the end of tdw first- loki gets stabbed by kruse and passes out for a while (rather than being able to pick himself back up in secret like what actually happened) and in that time odin senses that loki isn't dead and sends some guards to collect him. since loki technically broke the law *again* (committed treason, escaped jail, etc), he can enforce even more punishment, especially now that frigga is dead and she can't do anything about it. That, combined with some prophecy from midgard (or maybe asgard, idk) as an excuse added justifying reason, he sentences loki to the worst thing he can think up: to be bound against a rock with a snake dripping venom on him, his lips sewn shut so he can never lie again, forced to be in his jotun form, for all of eternity. In the deepest dungeon.
Thor obviously doesn't know about any of this, because he thinks loki dead.
so loki is taken, bound to a rock (idk if it's really work to have him bound with organs tho, since he doesn't have children in the mcu. maybe it's his..pet's? or maybe just chain. idk.), a snake coiled above him, seiðr bound, lips sewn shut, and his æsir form taken. He is completely alone, save the guards outside the chamber.
i don't really ship logyn in the mcu, (bc she doesn't exist in the mcu and their relationship feels to me like it would span for several centuries prior, so just randomly introducing her in one movie would seem strange to me), but i follow some people who do, so i wondered how i could incorporate that anyways, and make it not seem too strange.
Sigyn is one of the guards who has a shift guarding loki's chambers. She feels awful about it though, and eventually decides she has to do something to help. She ventures into the chamber and decides to catch the dripping venom with her helmet.
She also tries to cut the stitches from lokis lips, but when one string is cut, it doubles and repierces the skin, now twice the strength. She tries again, cutting them all at once this time (rather than individually), and grabs them all at once and pulls them out before they can multiply and repair themselves (luckily this time it works). She almost regrets it, though, as now she has to hear loki scream himself hoarse, and she can't do anything else to ease the pain.
she stays for several weeks/months/idk, holding the helmet above loki, having to empty it every so often. Perhaps she gets to know loki in this time, perhaps she doesn't. Perhaps she notices a certain brand on his shoulder, perhaps she does not. Perhaps she knew loki vaguely before, and now muses to herself what could have possibly changed him. Perhaps she didn't know him before, and doesn't muse. I don't know. But eventually she decides she needs to find and tell thor.
as hard as it is, she leaves loki to suffer alone (she tries to see if she can leave the helmet or fashion some contraption to make sure the poison cannot get in his eyes, but she cannot). After some searching and asking, she finds the mourning sullen prince thor and tells him what has occurred. Thor, now filled with joy, rage, guilt, horror, and sadness, breaks loki out with sigyn.
Loki is a mess. He has gone blind- whether temporarily or permanently is unknown- and has visible burns from the acid venom. His hairs a mess and his skin sweaty and thin. You can see his rib cage with how thin he's become. He wasn't allowed much clothes at the start of his punishment, but what few he had have been burned by the venom as well. He can't walk. He's barely conscious, and what little bit he is is just filled with delirium. They basically have to carry him.
They hide away from asgard (or at least the palace). And then ragnarok gets unleashed and they have to fix it etc and in the end they realize that it wasn't literally loki's being freed that incited ragnarok, but it was necessary for him to be freed so they could help stop/fix it/lessen the damage etc idk i was pretty tired at this point i wasn't thinking of details. anyways
idk if that made any sense lol but i'll tag the logyn people i follow/was thinking of

Punishments with Loki
blue = sad loki; red = toxic loki; green = mischievous god of mischief; orange = absolute filth
Thor 1 Loki
Loki punishes you when you get on his nerves sometimes he doesn't even bother to punish you instead he chooses to ignore you. He doesn't understand why you are with him anyways.
He know (however untrue it is) that one day you are going to leave him. So he doesn't bother.
But when he punishes you, it's more of a punishment for him. Paddles and spankings are his go to. But seeing you hurt hurts him more.
Avengers Loki
When I say Avenger timeline Loki is mean, I mean it (see what I did there?). First he gives you rules to follow and then makes it impossible to follow those rules, so he gets to punish you. Spanking and paddle are his general tools, but he picks up whips when he is in the MOOD.
He doesn't edge you, he couldn't be bothered by wasting his time, trying to get to know you so intimately. He doesn't want to waste his energy by focusing on you.
But he does overstimulate you very often, tying you up with a vibrator or his magic pleasuring you in the most intense and torturous way, leaving you for hours on end, sometimes even forgetting about you in his grand schemes.
Thor: The Dark World Loki
He is in the dungeon, but his princely status gets him access to you once a week. He would wreck havoc on you whenever possible. After all you are his only source of entertainment. Contrary to what some people might assume, he first gets to know you intimately, then uses this knowledge against you. Loves to get you riles up, tease you.
Sometimes not allowing you releases when you visit him, asking you to hold on until your next visit, only to leave you hanging again, or punish you if you fail. But none of his punishments are intense. Funny banter during your meet ups is appreciated, he loves a challenge.
He overstimulates you often, leaving you weak and unable to walk, only to then ask you to lay down with him - this one time.
Thor Ragnarok Loki
More often than not Loki lets your transgression go. He is just happy to have you here with him. You have been the only constant in his life and he just admires you a lot. This is obviously very different from when you started your relationship but you were not complaining.
If you rile him up, or act like a brat, he sometimes fucks you hard, but that's the extent of it. Punishments with him have become rarer and rarer. He is soft for you.
Sometimes when he is angry with you, he becomes really mean.. and withhold kisses from you (how dare he!) but more often that not, he gives in, when you bribe him with a chocolate from Midgard.
TVA Loki
Contrary to what people might think, TVA Loki is not the softest person in the bedroom. Far from it. He has embraced his identity completely. He was and is the god of mischief and anyone close to him knows this. Especially you.
Introducing new toys to the play is a common thing. When you break his rules (which is usually because how difficult they are to follow), he gets to "play with you without any condition". This means that for a day or two he is utterly and completely in control of you, mind and body alike.
The day usually starts with you giving him a bj, followed by a row of meetings while his magic plays with you. He loves the thrill of knowing that you can be caught at any moment, he loves how desperately you try to hide your blushing face from others, acting chaste and pure.
The nights are always the same. Hours and hours of edging for you, followed by either nothing or a ruined orgasm. If anything he is the Devil or Mischief.

Hi!! Is it ok if I order a fluffy to angst?? like, s/o is so fragile that one touch could almost kill him, so the darling tries to spend the last few seconds of his life just trying to make others happy. but the thing is the darling is slowly dying, and just wants the yanderes to be happy-
sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language (if possible use male reader)
Tw: Character death, Stockholm Syndrome, and reader gets sedated on Micheal's part.
(Male Yandere OCs x Male!Reader)
•Henry (Doll Maker) - He fulfills your wish by smiling and telling you, "oh, doll. You're everything I ever wished for." He kisses your forehead and is more gentle with you than usual for your last moments. When you finally lose the breath and slip away from the world, he wants to remember you by making you into the perfect doll.
•Micheal (Scientist) - "You were...an interesting experiment, pet. But unfortunately, your time is up..." That's probably the nicest thing hes ever said to you. He appreciates how you've been an excellent test subject, and how you were with him to the very end. But once he sees how your body is so weak and how you can barley stand someone's touch, he decides to put you to rest by permanently sedating you.
•Miru (Living Doll) - "D-does that mean that you have to go...? I don't want you to go, y/n!" He cries, but the last thing he wants is for you to remember him feeling bad. Instead, he wants you to remember him with a smile on his face for your final moments, which is what you wanted. The two of you do activities together, cuddle, and spend time together before finally slip away from this world.
•Ryan (Test Subject) - He can't protect you from this, and yet he still can't help but blame himself. He kisses your hand and says you always made him happy since day one. He tells you to not push yourself too hard to make him happy because you already do make him happy.
•Loki (Creature) - He can't smile because he doesn't have a mouth, but for your sake, he admits that he's happy with you, even when he doesn't show it. He doesn't feel anything about you dying, though. He knows he will be able to collect your soul and keep it forever after your passing, so you won't ever be apart.
•Aaron (Best Friend) - He would rather die with you than live without you. But he knows that's not what you wanted, so he puts that aside for your sake. You two go to places that you always wanted to go to, and take pictures so he can remember you when you pass away.
•Samuel (Fatherly) - He's beyond sad that you have to go, but he puts his emotions aside for your sake. He doesn't want you to remember him being in grief during your last moments. He puts on a soft smile, and promises that he will be with you for your last momets, how grateful he is to have someone like you. He coos sweet nothings when you would wince in pain, telling you that it will all be over soon, and you will be able to (permanently) rest soon.
•Tyler (Bounty Hunter) - He perfers to just kill you off to end your suffering, and he can't stand to see you like this. All he wants is to put you out of your misery. But he says to you that you always made him happy, and that you don't need to do anything else. He holds you close to his chest for your last moments.

Loki Episode 5 Coherent Thoughts
Spoilers for Episode 5. Once again, I have not rewatched before posting.
Most of this is lokius related because I'm still a damn fool.
I want the twist at the end to be that Loki gives Mobius (and the others) back his memories to give him the choice to go back to his life, and is just really sad about it, because he expects Mobius to want to go back to his kids who don't have a mother. But he gives him his memories of his past and they're... not what he saw when he found him. Like at all. I'm not gonna speculate on specifics (*cough* Theo Bell *cough*) but he doesn't have the responsibilities of being a single parent. And Loki's like 'No, but you had two boys,' and he tells Mobius about them and they both kind of realize at the same moment that they looked like Mobius but acted like Loki. None of that was real. Mobius made all that shit up and it somehow manifested. Because he's got it B-A-D for Loki, like a middle schooler with their first crush imagining an entire life with them.
Alternatively, I saw only one other post about this but maybe it's gotten some traction by now, but maybe Mobius's wife got Blipped four years prior. So the good thing is the boys are gonna have a parent in a year even if Mobius decides to stay with Loki.
Hi hello I'm still disturbed that these very young children have been possibly left home alone for eight hours (he says his shift is 9-5), and Mobius couldn't even answer the phone when they called. We don't see a babysitter. Mobius, this is neglect. For the children's sake, I fucking hope either A. they aren't real, or B. a more responsible parent is about to come back and take care of them in 2023. (Ugh, but Love having cousins who are about her age and just as chaotic as she is would be amazing.)
I've come up with the worst Dad joke and a way for Mobius to get out of his bribery with his kid he for sure cannot deliver on. He brings OB around for dinner. OB's timeline name (if I read the subtitles correctly) is A.D. Doug. ADDOUG=A DOG. And his TVA name is Ouroboros, the SNAKE eating its own tail. (Alternatively, you now know Loki, you can borrow his sons Fenrir and Jormungandr. Blended family.)
I know it hasn't been explicitly stated, but I thought the whole thing with Alioth in season one was meant to imply that Loki now knows how to restore memories. So why the fuck doesn't he try it in this episode? Even if he's pretty sure they're all where they were prior to the formation of the TVA, it's still after for him, so why wouldn't he at least try it? When he kept moving toward Mobius in the garage scene I thought he was gonna grab his head but he doesn't. (Maybe he was interrupted by OB, but he has ample opportunity later.)
It just needs to be said because I love history. I am obsessed with Casey being Frank Morris. Both he and Loki being central to these ongoing (technically) mysteries is amazing. Like unlike Cooper it is generally accepted that Frank and his co-escapees drowned during the attempt, but no bodies identified as the men were ever found (if my shallow dive into the wiki article immediately following the episode is to be believed). OB, your boyfriend's a convict lolololol!
AD Doug is still gender-neutral though. It's 1994 but my boi can still be enby. (I'm aware enby people existed well before this but, and the wiki is not being helpful, I think the specific term was coined in the mid to late 90s or possibly later, so OB may not have been aware of it.)
I don't think Marvel is moving toward Casey/OB (at least not before the end of this season, if we get another season it MIGHT be a different story), but fuck it would be so funny if they met so much later than lokius but were able to get their shit together faster than lokius. I think it'd check out for for everyone involved. Hell, maybe they're already together and it just hasn't come up yet to the group. That'd be funnier (bonus points if B-15 already knows though).
Loki for some fucking reason: Hold on, I gotta look cool and suave for this dork of a single dad who's already informed me at least three times of his own volition that he's single.

"If anyone were to ask, I'm fine, yes, I have some problems, but that's what it comes with." I got up smiling, not excited by the scandal around me, especially since most people didn't even know the truth. I wasn't drunk, I just drank non-alcoholic drinks, so I was there to talk to my friends from Holland that I won't be partying for a long time. I said this, they just pushed the booze into me, but I didn't allow it twenty times, at least I told them that I'm not pregnant, don't leave me alone, no, I'm not asking now. "You really weren't hooked?" "No, I don't even know who the girl is from the pictures, I don't even know her name, I just know that she hangs over me and keeps apologizing for some soccer player I've never heard of, Logan." I looked in front of me and knew that one more fight still awaits me today after Oscar, Loki is the spontaneous house purchase here in Miami, but I didn't know what to do, I couldn't stand Monte-Carlo, everyone was hanging on me, even though there are still nineteen contestants here in the field instead of me, plus Bia, my girl belly I don't understand why I'm the big number, why not Alex? "Lando, are you crying?" I nodded and started hugging Logan. "You know, I'm moving out of there because of the pressure, I hate it, it might be nice and all, but I can't live there."
I sat down next to Lando on a piled-up bench, it's such a stupid thing here that they don't give a normal seat either to seniors or outside the paddock. I always thought this was bullshit, but I never mentioned it. "Dude, yes, it's a cliché, but I know how you feel. I've also had a falling out with my partner, but we've always made up for something. Believe me, you too, maybe he will like the house." "I don't know if it's a typical house in a residential park, but it was at a good price with a garden, and I also looked at whether it was possible to keep a pet, they said it was possible, and I also answered the child's question with a little good-natured lie." He scratched the back of his neck and bit his lip, he leaned against the wall and a faint but tearful smile appeared on his face. "They said yes, all that's left is the paper work, but there are many rules that we will try to follow."
"Oscar?" "Lando?" I stood in front of Lando with my arms crossed and grimaced at him with candy in my mouth. "You know that because of your move, I can't even see you, because you didn't say you were going to leave Monaco just like that, you English bastard." "There you go? You would do the same if you too were picked apart by the Paparazzis every day! Huh?” I slapped him and left them crying, I couldn't stand Oscar's attitude towards my paparazzi photos, he keeps linking to them where he thinks I've lost weight while pregnant, where I've gained weight. "Fuck Oscar, of course I've gained weight, I'm pregnant!!!! Just look at me with your beautiful brown eyes, if you can't see me, go to the doctor, you bastard!!!!" ,,To a doctor????? It's not about the photos here, it's about the fact that you didn't tell me that you moved away." I was standing behind Lando with full eyes, I couldn't believe what he was saying again, he was starting to get hysterical and again publicly. He pulled out the I'm a diva card, he knows that I hate this and I can get really upset about it. "Lando, stop now, especially since Loki is here too!!!!" "There is no lying pig here, we are lost in the house!!!!!"
"Lando, Lando, calm down, remember what DR Yin said." I took off his baseball cap turned inside out and put it in my back pocket, ruffled his messy hair, he was so cute, angry and sad together, yes, his family, especially his mother, said he can't handle his feelings as much as an average boy of his age. He has ASD sometimes. "But, but Oscar is a lying pig." "Baby, he doesn't just want to help you and keep away from you the many evil uncles you are so afraid of." I kissed him forehead, but he turned him head away, I think that's a sign that he doesn't want to interact with me, and he didn't even make eye contact. ,,Oh, my dear, are you scared? it's okay, it's okay." I saw that he couldn't bear to cry all day from behind and I caressed the back of him neck and looked into him beautiful eyes. "Shall we go?" "Yes, I hate this place, I feel bad here and I'm tired and I want to sleep, Loki."
,,Where, where is my avocado cream sandwich? Loki?” I looked at him shocked and tired, then I leaned back on his shoulder and watched the commotion in the paddock, which was sometimes funny to me and sometimes repulsively disgusting. "Here you go, my cute selective eater." I put on my recently purchased sunglasses and bit into the sandwich with good taste and smiled with tearful face at how lamely Charles catches the ball and how lamely he throws it, and this makes him and his girl giggle. ,,I never understood this stupid media day, especially this jokey part, I always had to do this and now finally... Well Charlie!!!! my sandwich!!!!” I threw the ball back to him and it didn't go to him. "Nice throw Lando!" "You're welcome Carlos!" "Well, we're playing here, would you like to throw it back?" "Yes, of course, you'd better please the media again, mate." We'd rather get out of here with Loki before we find ourselves in the middle of a Ferrari dispute again, like after the tennis final because Carlos refused to introduce his girlfriend to Charles, so Carlos and his barmaid asked us for a free ride to the airport because they got caught in a fight. "These are childish." "Don't even tell Loki that I've been with Carlos, but we're breaking up because of a small quarrel." We got in, but my phone rang. "Sorry job, wait here."

What if Sigyn's stories
Part 24
So many different universes, so many different possibilities. And in some loves Sigyn and their different stories. Pictures and brief information have been written about some of these possibilities. But what is her full story, we don't know. But we can spin them further in our thoughts ^^
The whole project here serves to show the possibilities and potential that Sigyn would have had within the Marvel Universe. How she could have been reintroduced, her story made new and more exciting. #JusticeForSigyn stands for creating Sigyn content because Marvel doesn't give us any.
Inspired by @fauna-and-mythos @dailylogyn @dank-art @jonquilclegane @sigynthevictorious @thewitchysystem @shenanigans-and-imagines @sigynoffidelity @timeladyjamie @therese-lokidottir @puckwritesstuff @sigynappreciation @sigyn-obsessed @ellecaterina @roruna @sigyndottir @marvelentertainment @mistress-of-words
Queen of destiny
After the blood magic has destroyed Sigyn's entire life, she too sits on the throne as Queen of Vanaheim while Jotunheim declares war on her. She is determined to save her people and stop Jotunheim from taking the cities of Atlantia and Solis. But the fight against Jotunheim is just the beginning: Ancient powers have awakened in the shadows, bringing with them the horrors of times long past. Now the hour has come when Sigyn must accept her destiny and fulfill the prophecy. And she has to use her blood magic, but with that her secret is no longer safe either.
The witch's curse story by @roruna
Sigyn sat alone in her chambers. She hadn't left in days. At first, she was despondent, racking her brain for a way to get him back. But the sadness gradually reshaped itself into rage. Now she daydreamed of revenge, to get him back.
She arranged candles in a circle on her floor and sat down in the center of the circle. All the candles lit themselves at once by magic. Her heart was pounding hard and her whole body was shaking. Fresh tears grew in her eyes. She wiped them away with her index finger.
"Essence of fire, burn his skin and melt his form. Essence of air, spin him round so he loses his way, abandon him when he needs to breathe. Essence of earth, break his bones, bury him deep. Essence of water, become his tears," she said, writing the name on the floor with her wet finger.
Loki.
It wasn't a proper curse. Freya, the Vanir goddess of magic and Sigyn's mother, had taught her dozens of spells and curses. This wasn't in any of the spell books she'd read. The candles were just ordinary wax things with essential oils added so they'd fill the room with a pleasant fragrance when they burned. The air smelled of roses, vanilla, lavender and honeysuckle.
She didn't draw any runes. She didn't use any of her reserves of magic energy. She didn't even use any seidr to make his name glow dramatically on the floor. But she was crying when she lit the candles. She was crying as she spoke the words. And she was crying as she wrote his name in the circle with her tears. Intent and focus are what's important when casting spells.
Her body felt drained when put the candles out and stepped out of the circle. She wiped her face and she dropped into a dreamless sleep when her head touched the pillow. Just outside her chambers, servants were bustling about preparing Asgard's palace for Thor's coronation.
The child of a thousand wonders
Sigyn returns to Asgard from Nidavellir. She is to study and live in a school for magic until her mother returns from Feuerrisen Krigen and has clarified all matters there. Meanwhile, Sara's father dies under tragic circumstances.
He dies and leaves behind her, her sisters and mother. Sigyn only survives the difficult times because she has so much imagination and imagines what it will be like when her life is back on track. What she doesn't know is that she has an unknown friend who will help her and stand by her to make her happy again.
Sigyn goddess of forbidden love by @jonquilclegane
Once upon a time in the realm of Asgard, Sigyn was not just an ordinary maiden, but a valiant Valkyrie. She possessed grace, strength, and a heart filled with compassion. Sigyn had dedicated her life to the honorable duty of guiding fallen warriors to their rightful place in Valhalla.
However, fate had a different plan for Sigyn. Unbeknownst to her fellow Valkyries, she had fallen deeply in love with Loki, the mischievous god of trickery. Their hearts intertwined in secrecy, for such love was forbidden, as Loki's actions had often caused chaos and strife among the realms.
Sigyn's love for Loki was a bittersweet torment, for she was torn between her devotion to her duty as a Valkyrie and the longing in her heart. She would watch him from a distance, her heart aching, as he played his tricks and schemes, always keeping her true feelings hidden away.
One day, as Sigyn ventured through the realms, she came across a group of fallen warriors who had perished in a battle. Her duty compelled her to gather them and lead them to Valhalla. As she approached the fallen, she noticed among them a wounded warrior, his armor tarnished and his spirit weakened. To her surprise, it was Loki himself, wounded and vulnerable.
The conflict within Sigyn reached its zenith. Her love for Loki and her duty as a Valkyrie clashed with equal force. Her fellow Valkyries watched as she stood there, torn between her heart's desire and her responsibility.
In that moment, Sigyn made a decision that would change her fate and the fate of Loki forever. She dropped her spear, a symbol of her duty, and knelt beside Loki. She cradled his battered form in her arms, ignoring the gasps of her fellow Valkyries. With each touch, her love for him grew stronger, and a wave of compassion washed over her.
Sigyn looked into Loki's weary eyes and spoke words that resonated with love and determination. "No longer will I deny my heart, Loki. I am ready to face the consequences of our forbidden love. For love knows no boundaries and can transform even the most mischievous soul."
As the Valkyries watched in astonishment, Sigyn, the Valkyrie who had forsaken her duty, rose with Loki in her arms and vanished into the unknown. The realm of Asgard fell into a state of bewilderment, for a Valkyrie had chosen love over her sacred oath.
In the realms beyond, Sigyn and Loki created a life of their own, where their love blossomed, unfettered by the laws of the gods. Their journey was not without challenges, but together they faced them with unwavering devotion.
Though Sigyn had forsaken her position as a Valkyrie, her heart remained filled with compassion. She used her newfound freedom to bring solace to those in need, offering aid and redemption to lost souls who had strayed from the path of righteousness.
The gods of Asgard, witnessing the purity and strength of Sigyn's love, reconsidered their judgments. Slowly, they began to understand that love could heal even the most broken of spirits. The forbidden love between Sigyn and Loki became a tale whispered among the gods, a reminder that the power of love could transcend all boundaries.
And so, Sigyn, once a Valkyrie bound by duty, became a symbol of love's triumph over adversity. Her story would echo through the ages, inspiring others to follow their hearts, even in the face of the greatest challenges.
Don't forget love
Young Loki, an adopted son of Odin, of unknown origin and the highest magic in Asgard, receives a dangerous assignment: he and his brother Thor are to free prisoners of war from captivity on Midgard in Garda. While fleeing, he falls in love with the women of Sigyn the freed, but she is already married. Nevertheless, over the years he becomes the confidant of the young woman and wins victories over victories with Tho. And the blemish of his birth is finally revealed. Whereupon Loki leaves Asgard. But Sigyn has to realize with horror that her most dangerous enemy is far from defeated, and when she and her husband leave for Asgard for Thor's coronation, both are attacked and her husband is murdered, but that's not all, this fate will have fruitful consequences...
All good and bad things come in threes
There are days that turn your entire life upside down. Do you know days like that? Even those days when you lose your job in the morning and own a magical bookshop in Ireland at night?
No?
Well, I didn't know that either.
What I learned today:
1. I am not a human, I am a goddess and no one knows what else I am.
2.I have magic, but I have no idea how it works.
3.I'm in danger, have a husband I never knew about and only the bookshop in Ireland can protect me.
This is Rose's (Sigyn) new life and this Odinson who's supposed to be her husband doesn't make it any easier for her either.
TVA File 775
The TVA is in a state of emergency and a group of Agents and Hunters are tasked with reopening an old case, TVA File 775 codenamed "Ferguson". You set to work with mixed feelings and even return to the scene of the action, the island whose rugged beauty still amazes you, but where Hunter S-16 spent a difficult childhood. Which she doesn't remember, she doesn't remember her life before the TVA at all. And the game begins and nobody's life is safe anymore!
The broken promise
Loki: You give every one of your belongings to even the lowest scum or upstart
Sigyn: Everyone should be heard and understood
Loki: Understood, these are Sigyn low beings. They should not be understood but mastered
Sigyn: That's exactly why many fear you, because the way you think about them makes you unpredictable
Loki: You're talking about everyone should have a say
Sigyn: What's so bad about showing them is so bad about showing them respect for your opinions and ideas?
Loki: Enough of this discussion, you are my wife and you have to stand behind me in the first place behind all my decisions!
Sigyn: I stand behind you, but I'm not your puppet
The girl at the end of time by @jonquilclegane
In the wake of Ragnarok, the cataclysmic event that brought an end to the known universe, Sigyn found herself standing alone amidst the vast emptiness of the void. As the girl at the end of time, she witnessed the devastation that had consumed everything she had ever known. Her heart was heavy with grief and the weight of her solitude.
Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and Sigyn wandered through the desolate remains, searching for signs of life. But the universe seemed devoid of hope, with no trace of any other survivors. She felt the weight of the loss, mourning the fallen gods and mortals who had once inhabited the vibrant realms.
As Sigyn reached the point of despair, contemplating her existence as the solitary being at the edge of nothingness, a glimmer of light caught her attention. In the darkest corner of the void, she discovered a group of individuals huddled together, clinging to the remnants of their shattered existence.
Hope ignited within Sigyn's heart as she approached the survivors. They were a diverse group, representing different species and civilizations from across the cosmos. Their eyes held a mix of relief, wonder, and exhaustion as they saw Sigyn, the girl who had emerged unscathed from the ruins of Ragnarok.
Among the survivors, Sigyn discovered a wise elder who held the knowledge of an ancient prophecy—one that spoke of a way to restart the universe, a chance to restore life and begin anew. Though the task seemed daunting, Sigyn knew that she had been chosen for a purpose beyond her comprehension.
Gathering the remaining survivors, Sigyn shared the prophecy with them, filling their hearts with renewed hope. Together, they embarked on a perilous journey, traversing the remnants of the shattered cosmos, seeking the pieces required to restart creation.
Through trials and tribulations, the group faced countless obstacles, but their determination was unwavering. Sigyn's love for the fallen gods and mortals fueled her resolve, and she became a guiding light for the survivors, encouraging them to press onward.
At the culmination of their quest, they assembled the shattered fragments, a mosaic of cosmic energy. Sigyn stepped forward, the catalyst of their endeavor, and with a single touch, she ignited the dormant energy, sending ripples of life through the void.
A burst of vibrant light enveloped the cosmos, spreading like a celestial wave, awakening the slumbering universe from its lifeless state. Stars ignited, galaxies spiraled into motion, and planets began to form. Life bloomed once more, breathing fresh energy into the tapestry of existence.
The survivors, awestruck and filled with gratitude, witnessed the rebirth of a universe they had believed lost forever. They celebrated their triumph, vowing to honor the fallen by cherishing the newfound life granted to them.
Sigyn, once the girl at the end of time, had become the harbinger of renewal. With her unwavering love and the strength of the survivors by her side, she had rewritten destiny, restoring hope and the promise of a brighter future.
Together, they set forth to build a universe where love, compassion, and harmony thrived. And as they shaped their new reality, the echoes of the fallen reverberated within their hearts, a reminder of the resilience of life and the enduring power of unity.
A relative conquest (AU)
The free-spirited Sigyn is on fire. Finally women are admitted to the university, she could study! Her parents, on the other hand, want to marry her off to young Theoric. Theoric loves the world of fragrances. He experiments with flavors and scents. He dreams of making perfumes in his own factory. Sigyn is enthusiastic and supports him against all odds. Energetically and skilfully she drives the founding of the company forward. But what about their own goals? Are her feelings strong enough for marriage? Because there's Loki, Theoric's friend. He threatens to drive a wedge between the couple. And that too, because if there's one thing Loki doesn't need in his life at all, it's a second wife.

Ok, I love reading your asks and your replied to them (never thought of Sylki Darkfic before but you are so right, selflessly possessive Loki being low-key creepy would be fitting). So I want to hear your two cents about this:
Sylvie has no reason to learn how to trust or suddenly be able to trust in S2. As you said, Loki doesn't give her a reason to trust him, it's almost like he just nags her till she gives up. The TVA are still pruning the Timelines (Dox) and they are still indifferent to the Timelines being pruned (Mobius). Sylvie could have seen the chance of the TVA agents redeeming if she had any interactions with B-15, but she doesn't. After trying to hope for the best, they failed at accomplishing whatever they dragged her from her life on the Timeline for.
So, does Sylvie get any development at all, or is she there to be the hysterical anti-cop mouthpiece as the other anon said?
okay first of all my disclaimer on this one is that while i have indeed come to appreciate the male sylvie loki as a character i did first get dragged in by sylvie so i tend to take her side on things because she is the superior blorbo.
(i put this behind a read-more thingy cos it got a bit long)
my feels on sylvie this season are that she's been demoted from 'her quest for revenge is the main driver of the plot' to 'isn't it awful that she makes the man upset by understandably-yet- foolishly disagreeing with him?' she's not had a pivotal moment with B-15 because sylvie in s2 is (so far) primarily there to make loki feel sad. she had that lovely end-credits bit of discovering the McDonalds Burgermatic Universe but then we didn't see that after all, we just skipped to her working on a till apparently established in her new life. there's two episodes left so this could all change but the first half has not been that great on the sylvie front :'(
even the fact that (someone correct me if i'm wrong pls as it is very possible) loki shows up at mcdonalds mostly because he saw her in a lift in the previous episode and assumes this means she will know about... her own future? somehow? or possibly because he knows she's one of the main characters and so she needs to be brought into this new plotline. or for emotional reasons but he obviously can't so much as hint at that to her in case they resolve their relationship issues too early. (how can sylvie expect him to tell her the truth about these things? it was only the second episode and that's far too early! what a daft bint she is!)
people get mad at sylvie for not being nice enough to loki but she's got a normal-seeming life now that she appears to enjoy, and him turning up (in a TVA uniform with his cop buddy AND THEIR PRISONER) demanding answers she doesn't have and telling her to just accept that The Cops Are Good Now Actually, Apart From All The Ones Who Aren't so like... why would she go out of her way to be polite and helpful about keeping the TVA running?
i don't think she's intended to seem like a hysterical rebel, but we're not being shown things from her perspective as much as before and we assume (we could be wrong about this but we do assume) that as the main character loki is going to turn out to be right about most of these things and we don't really get a balanced set of arguments, which seems to be partly because we need to hold off on these characters actually discussing anything so that we can ensure that loki stays sad about her until such time as he can be rewarded for his work on the time loom by the lifting of that sadness (or whatever).
there's still two episodes left though, which is enough time to turn this around a bit, perhaps by showing us a bit of sylvie's new life or by having some proper discussions/arguments about whatever the fuck the TVA are supposed to be doing now. so my feelings are currently mixed. could turn out fine, could end up crap. OH THE TENSION D: D: D:
#replies#loki season 2#i'll tag this with 'loki series critical' but shall remove that tag if it somehow makes people angry at me#i am not even sure if the people making this show realise that the tva are cops so idk what to think really

okay. endgame thoughts. the scene in new asgard...
it's interesting that even when thor is at rock bottom, he doesn't show outward sadness. he's not just drowning his feelings, he's constructed a sort of cocoon - as well as the alcohol and the escapism, he's isolated himself except for friends he knows won't challenge/disrupt his coping mechanisms, he's apparently specifically avoiding asgardians, presumably because it's harder to face the *people* he's failed - and he's actually projecting a mask of happiness.
it's not the most convincing mask, but still - he's smiling, he's laughing, he's warm. he shows affection, he introduces people to one another, and he offers them drinks. he's acting as a host, which is a royal trait, and how he's used to relating to his friends on asgard.
he's trying to create recapture a sense of community, of the kind he feels most secure in - a community that centres around him. (notably: an entourage, not a family. so no-one outranks him, and no-one gets too close.)
and he's trying to earn support and approval via... maybe not admiration, but something like it. love is something thor's always had to win, and he wins it by being giving, and by concealing his own needs. hence: depressed thor is sooo happy and amiable and agreeable, why don't you come in and live in his house forever, he doesn't mind.
and then there's also... anger. or not. he can turn his anger on and off at the drop of a hat; he's lending it to his friends as a tool. you could say he's using it protectively, but it's also without much direction, or any genuine need. and he's angry when hulk/bruce tries to ask for his help, but even then, he's mostly just passive-aggressive.
there's an interesting sort of disconnection going on. anger is the easiest to feel out of his negative emotions, but even that he doesn't really look at face-on... perhaps because so much of thor's anger is aimed at himself. but also perhaps because anger has always been a tool to him, and he doesn't have any direction now, so what's the point?
i think it's also interesting that he's shown arguing with children. what he says to that gamer kid sounds childish, but what he says to korg positions him as authoritative, and could even be interpreted as parental.
i think both of those things were present in how he related to other children (especially loki) when he was a child himself. thor is regressing, but thor is also someone who's had to grow up far too fast. childhood and adulthood were blurred then, and they're blurred now. (which is also just part of how ptsd works. and to be frank - we've seen odin's parenting. whether thor knows it or not, his trauma started a long time before t1.)
anyway. all this is a mask - but it's a weak one and thor knows it. for the most part, he's hiding. he's severely neglecting his physical appearance, not even brushing his hair - i think he might be literally struggling to look at himself in the mirror.
and it's also a mask whose fragility is known. korg and miek know his triggers and there's a formal agreement to avoid them. and it's probably quite hard for thor to have shown even that much vulnerability.
but there's an interesting kind of contrast here - on one hand, thor compulsively covers up vulnerability to avoid provoking his own feelings of grief, guilt, etc. but on the other hand, thor is very obviously not okay and he looks like he's lost his shame.
i think he is ashamed of his drinking, his depression, his weight gain, etc. but... as well as struggling to cope, i think he might be deliberately not hiding these things, because he thinks he deserves the shame. because he thinks others respecting and trusting him is dangerous. if he isn't worthy to protect his people, he can at least make sure no-one mistakes him for someone who is again...
so. thor is trying to escape his own trauma as far as he possibly can, but he's also limiting himself to escapism that mean no-one is relying on him for anything that matters. thor has decided it's better for him and for everyone else if he disappears.

I know you said that there may be cameos of Satchel Steve, so sorry if I sound stupid asking this..but-
Is there going to be another part, maybe the final or the epilogue, of this story? I want more and I'm suffering for my dreams to come true but at the same time I don't want to pressure you ':)
Also, I loved. It.
It was really amazing and I was always attracted to the pair Steve & Loki somehow
Really good work 🙌🏼❤
Hey Anon!
You don't sound stupid at all, I'm delighted you were so invested and I really appreciate it, but also a bit sad I didn't give you the ending you craved.
I'm gonna get a bit navel-gazing writer here so...apologies.
I think you're talking about Loki & Steve getting together and having a proper non-ambiguous sexual encounter? Potentially with real feels involved?
So for context, the Schooling Steve series was meant to be a one shot challenge to myself to write something that was basically totally character and dialogue based.
I knew I wanted a virginal Steve and my typical verbose, sassy avenger loki and wanted to see how ridiculously tense I could make it without actually being sexual between them. And I hoped it would be funny, too.
Something about the ingrained mischievous nature of Loki being unable to resist teasing Steve as he reacted to him (or, his 'teachings' as Loki thought) just kind of grew into this will they/won't they sexual tension.
I don't enjoy straight up 'cheating' storylines, so having Y/N complicit in the ridiculousness was fun. Readers can look into the whole duplicate scenario how they wish, that's open to interpretation 😅
A lot of of Steve and Loki's interactions are seen from Steve's horny POV, so as readers we're skewed. He moves from his initial attentions on Y/N to jointly thinking of Y/N and Loki...then briefly the brunette, and then pretty much full Loki. We're never quite sure exactly what Steve wants. Because he doesn't either.
With Loki's POV, he's almost always internally criticising Steve or enjoying his 'light' sexual torment under the guise of help. Turning Steve on without quite acknowledging its him doing it, rather than the images he's putting in his head.
To me the whole saga is a bit of an escapade in farce and ridiculousness and no ones feelings are really hurt. Basically I couldn't see how Steve and real Loki (a non ambiguous ending) could fit that while keeping true to his feelings for the reader (which is how it was set up before I knew it would be more than one part 😁)
Edit:I totally misread this whole ask I think so here is my second response....ive had a very busy day 😂😂😂
There may be an epilogue, perhaps. If I think of one 😂
There may also be drabbles of stupid stuff that happened in between the 'official 5'parts. Who knows....with Satchel the possibilities are endless.
(sorry that was really long huh😂)
FYI for Satchel posterity @xorpsbane @vbecker10 @ijuststareatstuffhereok89 @lokischambermaid @michelleleewise @mochie85 @lady-rose-moon @animnerd @yelkmelk

Might I ask, how would you have liked Loki or how do you think Loki would have acted in Ep. 3? I feel like his behavior was weird and I feel like maybe he would have done things a little differently. Like the train and the end and everything in-between just felt off. I ask this because this is the most we see him with someone else for the first time (not counting Mobius) and they were already trying to hint at a relationship already it seemed. How do you think he would have actually behaved and how things actually would have happened with him or should have happened? Like with Sylvie and just in general and how events would have happened if he acted like himself (Not sure if any of this makes any sense but i like reading your posts and you ideas)
Thank you dear 😉 (sorry, this got long!)
Personally I find it hard to believe his first instinct would be to team up and be allies with Sylvie, and not because she's a variant of him but because he doesn't know her at all? You think he would team up with a stranger he has no control over when he has not enough information about what she can do, what her powers are? That's a recipe for disaster.
And Loki doesn't trust easily either. At that point he's fresh from Thanos and the NYC invasion, his brother has been fighting against him, Mobius has blamed him for Frigga's murder and Odin is dead (and it's likely he thinks Thor is dead as well after that shot of IW). Loki's state of mind in that moment is fragile as all hell: what does he have left, especially now that he knows his timeline has been pruned and he can't go back? He has absolutely nothing and no one.
[As an aside, if Loki had been acting like himself he would have spent ep1 not answering a damn thing, messing with Mobius and faking sadness to manipulate him, he wouldn't have believed a damn word said to him just like the tape he saw would probably meant very little to him because images can be edited out. He's in a place where infinity stones have no power! Editing videos would be the easiest thing for them. But since he was ooc pretty much from the get-go...]
So I can see him going all in against the TVA. Taking into account his magic and the fact that he's a powerful sorcerer he would get in Sylvie's head and extract as much intel as possible, then depending on the info he'd probably form an allyship with her so they can both destroy the TVA or he'd just grab the Tempad and do it himself.
I think it would have been fun if he went from one agent to another telling them they're variants and getting in their heads like he did with Valkyrie in Ragnarok, form an alliance with them instead of Sylvie and have them fight Ravonna and Mobius while he goes to kill the Time Keepers.
What I know for sure is that he wouldn't waste time with the train and he wouldn't open up to a stranger who could use that info against him. He'd keep the upper hand at all times. At that point once he knows about the golden doors what is stopping him from leaving Lamentis, going straight to the Time Keepers and killing them? He doesn't need Sylvie for that. Just like he wouldn't be so preoccupied with telling Mobius the truth, why would he care after that godawful ep1?
With him being silly in the train... again, that doesn't make any sense either. The situation in Pompeii was different because his life wasn't in danger at all, he was there with Mobius and he knew they would escape before anything bad would happen. Because he can trust Mobius? Hell no, because he knows Mobius needs him. So despite how much I didn't like how exaggerated his behaviour was there, I can understand him letting go and being silly since he knows his life is not in danger. But in Lamentis it's exactly the opposite: there's a high chance he might not make it and the only way to survive it is to keep a low profile (and he has his magic? he can change clothes? he can shape-shift into whatever he wants? the fight makes no sense at all?!!). And what's even worse, he breaks the Tempad after getting drunk? 🙄
The train and wasting time charging the Tempad and all that bullshit could have been easily removed. Sylvie is introduced only to help further the story so that Loki finds out about the golden doors, she's pruned in the meantime and goes to the Void, Loki returns to the TVA, tells the agents they're variants (ensuring they turn against Ravonna et al, an organization that can't control its workers is doomed) and kills the Time Keepers, finds out about the Void, prunes himself, meets with Sylvie again who introduces him to their other variants, they all team up to defeat Alioth, Loki gives his variants the Tempad so they can escape and go back to their timelines meanwhile him and Sylvie head to the Citadel as allies, no need for "superior variant" bullshit. Oh and in ep6 they talk it out, decide not to kill HWR who gets super angry because that's not the script he wanted so he had to kill himself. Suck it up, idiot.

I just read your time travel au, and i gotta say its the most ive enjoyed myself when readjng in awhile!!! Are you considering adding onto it at all or is the fic the last of it? I dont wanna make you feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do but i would love to see more of this au!!!!!!
I'm glad you're having as much fun with that fic as I did! At the moment I don't plan to continue this 'verse beyond what I posted in As Subtle As Cognitive Recalibration on AO3.
But if there was a continuation, it would probably go something like this:
Team Conclusive Evidence That Any Moron Can Time Travel is at a loss.
Oh, sure, the overall plan is obvious: Get Earth ready for Thanos. With a strong focus on Priority 2: Burn HYDRA to the ground. But, well. How exactly are they supposed to do that? After they just gave SHIELD the middle finger and handed the scepter and mind stone to Asgard? How are they supposed to convince Natasha and Tony of the insane truth or — failing that — a credible lie?
Also what the fuck are they supposed to do with Loki— Easy, Thor, no one here has any sort of problem with your baby bro, not even a hint, not a a smidge, nope.
Thor wants to prepare his realm for the invasion of the Dark Elves which, fair enough. No one argues. (The deal is he takes that damn scepter off planet immediately, along with the tesseract and Loki, and comes back as soon as possible to give them an idea how Asgard's gonna handle things this time around.)
(The only one unhappy with that deal is Loki who has taken to staring at Thor with something disturbing like concern. Or wariness.)
In any case, the alien side of things is officially not their biggest immediate problem and how sad is that.
Clint and Steve agree that they need to deal with SHIELDRA ASAP. That doesn't tell them how. Last time they pretty much set SHIELD on fire and watched it burn.
(Steve got so much shit from Tony for that fiasco. So many "there were better ways to handle that"s. Which he used to counter with "there was no time". They both had a point back then — but this time around time is the one resource they don't lack. And Steve knows they need to do a better job. Tony would never stand for anything less and Steve won't let him down.)
There's also the matter of avoiding the entire Winder Soldier and Accords mess if at all possible but one logistic nightmare at a time.
Hulk sulks because no one lets him spend time with Tin Man.
On an unrelated note, Hulk is the worst secret keeper on the entire team and that includes a sleep-deprived, self-medicating Tony running on caffeine and spite.
Steve and Clint start the very complicated process of trying to identify HYDRA agents and missions that they remember, putting together charts and timelines and generally doing a great impression of two increasingly panicked and paranoid conspiracy theorists. If they're gonna do this, they'll do it right and proper this time around, with research, preparation and hopefully limited collateral damage.
So they plan. Natasha would Judge™ them if they didn't. (Right after she'd murder them for keeping this secret from her.)
Maybe they can hunt one or two bases down, infiltrate the network to get their hands on SHIELDRAs data without making it obvious that they're only targeting HYDRA (SHIELD, after all and despite the fact that it kills Clint to face up to it, isn't distinguishable from HYDRA). And hey, Clint thinks he vaguely remembers one or two contacts he could call about some hacking, so there's no need to pull Tony or JARVIS into this mess either. The mere thought that HYDRA might pay him more attention than they already do thanks to his innovations is...
Steve breaks five mugs and the coffee maschine. Clint just breaks his hand.
(They'll both sleep better knowing Tony is far away from any potentially life-threatening situation until they can look their team mate in the eye without seeing his bleeding and broken body on that fucking battle field, thanks.)
Meanwhile, Hulk — still sulking and angry about it — leaves the Tower to go smash any SHIELD agents he encounters. Which, considering the teams Fury has sent to reacquire the tesseract, are quite a lot.
Right in front of Tin Man's entrance door too.

Hello my dear, I hope you're having a good and successful day 🤗
So chapter 37 of TB...the whole chapter has an angsty tension, very angsty tension 🥺. The wedding is right in front of us, disgusting Steve made a very bad threat 'tomorrow I'll get your leash in my hands, you know what that means' and ...will Loki's plan work out?
Loki didn't know anything about Bruce and y/n's mother, and Bruce needed the reassurance that y/n really doesn't want to marry Steve...so they didn't know much about what was going on the whole time?
That means they lived absolutely under the radar and the only connection was Nat. That's how Bruce got to know, Loki is trustworthy and after the phone call that he will help y/n to get out of the mansion and try to avoid the wedding.
There's much more to reveal but I'm sure the letter is the solution to the riddle. Did they offer y/n the chance to live with them? Y/n seemed to had the chance to make her own choice, hadn't she? Oh that's going to be very hard for her; to get to know the truth, to get to know that they're alive, to get to know the letter's content. Who is to blame? Is there someone to blame?
How can a mother leave her child behind? Was she selfish? Was she just concerned about an insecure, maybe bad future in her new life and was sure that Rocky would and could be a good father? A bad husband isn't automatically a bad father. And what else should they've thought when they got absolutely no reaction of y/n? Is it possible they didn't know in details what y/n had to suffer. And how should they've known that y/n never read the letter.
I get y/n's reasons, I said it before but wouldn't it have been better to read it? There are maybe no answers to it, that's how life goes, about the choices we made, and it can hit us very, very hard.
Like fate hit Loki's family. It's such a sad story. They all suffered (and still do) and had lost so much. This can also happen to everybody and we can't change it. When the time has come for y/n to learn the truth, there is a chance that she is able to forgive her mother and Bruce, based on her reaction when Loki told her about Hela and Thor. It will take some time and maybe she won't let Loki in because she needs some time for herself first and because of the fact, that he didn't tell her what he knew...and Loki will stay by her side, he promised it. He's so caring for the people in his life he loves ( I'm sure he's so sweet with his niece...the photo with his niece and domestic Loki in a hoodie awwwwwe😍🥰). And I think Thor does it too. He cared about Loki after Cairo and I think he would do it for Hela too...if she would let him. Also y/n promised to never let Loki alone. I don't want to believe that they break up their precious relationship, their precious love for each other.
You can't change the past, what happend happend. But you can try to make the best now out of your future. It could be a great one, with a big new family, in Indiana maybe? It's my great wish for them. They deserve all the love and happiness 💚❤️💚❤️
For now there's so much angst, for everyone who's involved in the plan and there are so many insecurities what could happen during or after the wedding ceremony.👀🥺😲
A small bag with the most important things, an expensive ring💍 (very smart !) and a working plan...Loki and y/n are so close to freedom ...Eric, Peter, Bruce, Stark...we count on you !
I'm very excited for the next chapter, I hope it's not the penultimate or last one, I don't want to let them go just yet🥲🥰
You increased the tension wonderfully, my Queen 👑 and I try to wait patiently for the next one 😅. I love you 💚💚💚
Steve is disgusting. Period. Like there's no way he can come back from this or redeem himself and even if he does he is not going to be the person she can ever trust.
The letter is the big part of the reveal and why they hid themselves for so long or didn't try to connect with her before this 👀
I don't think her mother was selfish but more like sad and broken and she just wanted to get out of that space and she just wanted to leave Rocky behind because living that life was making her weaker and sadder more and more everyday and she knew that she won't be able to go on like this forever and she loved Bruce and he loved her, there was a hope for loving future and she took it.
I really wanted to get into whole Thor and loki relationship but I didn't want to make him someone who did something horrible to loki but more like an accident, it was a mistake but he is not able to forgive himself for that because it cost his sister's legs, her life changed in a moment and he is not allowing loki to forgive him either because he thinks he don't deserve them, that's the whole reason for the tension amongst them. He needs a hug, they both need to hug each other.
Ahhh I'm sorry I'm not able to write, I don't have much time plus you know thumb is being an asshole but I'm very excited to get on to 😍😍 I love you dear ..my queen 👑

MINOTAUR THOR!
let's just throw canon out the window and combine to different mythologies shall we
Or keep a bit of canon? fanon? Idk and say Loki cursed him to be Minotaur! But unlike in beauty and beast, when you finally get together there is no curse to be broken anymore really. He stays a minotaur, actually really loves being that form now, he can finally pick up Mjollnir again because has accepted himself and is worthy.
Other thoughts about Minotaur!Thor below -
Big big big HIMBO - he drinks his respect women juice at every meal
a sad goofball
I know they aren't technically Norse, but I think he'd have Highland Cow vibes- long shaggy hair, medium-length thick horns, a bit chonky, adorable, and golden.
Is a massive cuddler, let's say apart of the curse is that he trapped in a labyrinth, so he is a bit touch starved. When you stumble upon him, literally because he was taking his mid morning snooze, his first instinct is HUG.
He later apologizes for nearly squishing you because he doesn't know his own strength.
He doesn't try and trap you or manipulate you into staying with him. Thor just overshares, hardcore.
While you try and find away out, he just talks and talks and talks about literally everything under the artificial sun.
"I didn't know I could use my godly powers grow so much fruit. But it's so good, here have this passion fruit."
"Nope, don't go that way, that leads to the toilet. Honestly just never use toilet here."
"The worst vegetable to masturbate with Jackfruit. Sure it doesn't smell as bad as the Durian, but it gets all slimey in the worst way possible. I've had a lot of success with butternut squash."
"Once my brother, who is the reason I'm like this and not my normal godly form, once turned into a snake and stabbed. He's adopted though. All good fun."
Thor, of course, stumbled upon making wine. Hasn't figured out ale yet much to his upset, but damn does he make a fine fruit wine.
Drunk Thor is an absolute riot, even if you are stone cold sober.
He has loads of weapons, which he shows off to you, gives you a couple of his daggers with a wink. You don't know what that means.
There is one weapon he doesn't talk about, the hammer embedded in a rock at the center of everything. You try and pick it up, but can't.
He is moppy for the next two days of wandering through the maze. Not his usual self.
When you have your first heart to heart with Thor, opening up about how you ended up here, is when the first seeds of love being to blossom.
He maybe suggest you staying after that and maybe you spend less time trying to map out the labyrinth and more time skinny dipping and making out with a hot beefy Minotaur!Thor.
If you tell him you miss the rain, that thunderstorms were your favourite, he'd cry because that is something he can give you.
He would be so giddy for that moment. Taking you outside, making you sit on a stump or something. Almost like putting on a show for you, Thor dramatically brings the heavens down. The artificial sun is covered with big, puffy, dark clouds. Fat rain drops slowly fall to the ground. In the distance there is a flash then clap of thunder. Lightening crackles in the space between his horns, his eyes glow blue, he is captivating.
You guys dance in the rain. It's freeing, beautiful, and most fun you've had in ages.
You promise to stay with him then, no matter where he goes, you'll be by his side if he'll have you.
amen.
If you want smut you gotta ask for it 😂😂😂

Loki spin-off ideas
I'm going to preface this by saying, I do not think we will ever get a Loki spin-off. But that doesn't mean I can't think about all the great possibilities there could be. And also I am quickly running out of ideas again.
Spoilers for Loki.
TVA workplace comedy, featuring B-15 Verity, Casey, OB, on occasion Sylvie and Mobius, and introducing new (queer) characters. Casey and OB stumble their way into a relationship, Verity once and for all establishes that she can detect lies, Mobius is sad until in the season finale (with special guest star Tom Hiddleston!) someone figures out how to get him to Loki. And we get Lokius in the last ten seconds, because they pull a Will Shatner and purposely ruin every other take that isn't them making the fuck out.
TVA training shorts, featuring Miss Minutes (ugh), reminiscent of those high school PSAs they made Cap do ("So you got detention," etc.), but animated in the style of the introductory video Loki watched in the first episode. You could also have a second season of them as an updated version following the dissolution of the Sacred Timeline and how the branches are seen as good things now. Maybe the new ones are narrated by members of the Time Revengers, since Miss Minutes is still being rehabilitated. (I'm still deciding if the idea of listening to Mobius tell the story of how the multiversal tree was created would be heartbreaking even if he managed to remain professional and not break down in tears, or if it would be really sweet that he gets assigned that video.)
Lokis in the void, following mainly Kid Loki and (if we retcon it, set this before the show, or he somehow survived) Classic Loki, but also ridiculous schemes of President Loki (yuck, no thank you) that constantly get thwarted. The B-plot is Alligator Loki sneaking off and getting up to some shit in an anti-Perry the Platypus running gag. (Wait, maybe I just want a Phineas and Ferb parody where every character is a Loki and it takes place in the void. That could be so stupid it's hilarious.)
Classic Loki in Valhalla please I need it. Like we start similarly to the events of my fic After, where Classic Loki arrives in Valhalla and reunites at long last with Thor (don't ask me how, I know technically his timeline was reset). Then the show continues with Classic Loki and Thor getting up to hijinks in Valhalla, maybe scheming to break out of Valhalla (a storyline for Loki in various contexts I've played around with a few times). We could have different characters from the Thor movies and comics in Valhalla, but since they're all dead, they're all played by older actors. You could make some easy, low-hanging old jokes (back pain every time they use their weapon, etc.), but they're gods and they're dead, so technically they should be fine. They're just old and dead. (But like, Tony Stark is for sure in Valhalla, too. You could have some frostiron going on. Or Fandral. He's there, too, Ewing.)
Mobius's adventures in the multiverse, just episodes of him traveling through time and experiencing it (I'm realizing now that this is basically just the premise for Doctor Who...). Also going on in this series is obviously Mobius missing Loki and looking for a way to get to him. Of course (because this is my show and I say so), the series would end with them reuniting and confessing and staying together, either in the tree if need be or in the wider multiverse if Loki is able to leave the tree. And there would certainly be episodes throughout the show featuring the other members of our Time Revengers. Maybe the workplace comedy and this show are occurring simultaneously. (Like one episode of TVA someone's like "Where's Verity?" "Oh she's on a mission." And you're like oh the actor has a break or is filming something else, and then later that week the episode of Mobius airs and THERE'S VERITY!)
Sylvie in Broxton. That's it, that's the show. Just Sylvie living her best life in the small town, working at McDonald's, hanging out at Lyle's record store, ignoring 90% of the calls on her TemPad (unless it's Mobius, because in spite of herself, she's a little worried about him).

MADE FOR EACH OTHER (Chapter one)
Cassie Thomas
You look at someone and always think about how good this person's life is. Is that why they have it easier than I do? Why do I have to go through this hell, and they don't? Sitting in the cafeteria all alone, looking at everyone and how easy they had it. I keep telling myself it's only 1 year, and it will be over.
"You know one day you're gonna have to tell me what makes you sad most of the time," Peter said, putting his tray in front of mine.
"I'm not sad. I'm just jealous," I said, shrugging.
"Of what?" he asked.
"Maybe one day you will know," I answer. I can't promise him anything. I would risk a lot for a selfish reason.
The last class bell rang and left the class. I need to go faster so I can come back home fast. I hope Dad isn't in a bad mood today. I had so much fun with peter and ned in the robotics club.
I jog to the abandoned warehouse, where I usually train my powers. I just discovered them a year ago. it's so cool, and the green color of my hands makes it cool.
I'm trying to learn to fly at the moment as I remove my neckless and backpack. I start warming up by throwing some metal through the wall. All I can think now is how fun this is. I wish I could stay here forever, with no pain, just the bliss of me embracing my powers. I start putting force on the ground as much as I can so I can levitate from the ground. I slowly started rising.
The peace at this moment makes me want to stay that way forever. No constant reminder that I'm a killer or a monster. I wish she was alive so I could tell her how sorry I was. I go back to the ground and start walking home. My dad owns a company, so he travels a lot and I'm thankful for that.
Ever since my mom died, he started hitting me for small mistakes, grades, dropping dishes, or saying no. I hate how it is my fault I killed her. I'm a killer, and he doesn't fail to remind me of it every day. Peter and I met in foster care. his aunt was across the world, and he stayed in a foster home for a couple of days ever since he was my bestie. he doesn't know anything; no one does. I can't ruin my father's life any more than I already did. I arrive at the house code and enter a fast walk to the door. I see my dad's car on the lawn. Fuck his back. I enter as quietly as possible, shutting the door. I slowly walk upstairs.
"Where were you?" My dad speaks. "i- I was with peter's robotic project." I stutter.
Not today, please no. "Don't lie to me," he said as he put his bourbon cup down. "I'm not," I lied. "Go upstairs to my bedroom," he says, walking up to me. "No! Please no! I promise I won't do it again please not today I swear I will be good." I protest. "I said go upstairs don't disobey me ." He grabs my arms harshly. Tears shed from my eyes. I can't do this today. "Why me! Many people would do it!" I cried harder. "Because I want you to feel the pain I go through every time I need her!" he yells at me, dragging me to his bedroom. "Please don't."
Chapter 2
he first chapter ik its depressing but it gets better I promise everything will change in the second chapter plus I will go fast a bit with the events since I want her to meet Loki as soon as possible at the same time I want a small love triangle.
