OooHOOOHOO
Man
Copy pasting my thoughts from my ramble at the friend who showed this post to me because I'm satisfied with the way I put them. Spoiler warning for wof arc 1 below
How does this work? Does she know the prophecy is fake from the moment Morrowseer visits the cave to observe the dragonets? Maybe he wasn’t thinking about it well enough for her to realize he doesn’t believe the prophecy - “hmmm…. This one isn’t good enough. This one will work better. This one will accomplish the need very effectively-” could all be interpreted as someone who doesn’t trust in fate to do it’s own work. Maybe this annoys her, but the truth doesn’t register.
Or does she deny obvious “lol this thing isn’t real” thoughts with the certainty that he’s wrong. And maybe she hates him because of it right off the bat - though she might not tell the others exactly why beyond a potential cryptic “he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about!” To which she gets the average response of “lol alright Sunny. Anyway I want to punt him into the sky because he hates Glory” - !!! Right - iirc, Morrowseer tells the guardians to kill her, but to the side where the dod don’t hear him. (Can’t check atm cause cat on lap). Maybe Sunny gets all bolt-upright-shock at a certain point and starts frantically trying to convince everyone that Glory is in danger the second he leaves, before anything is overheard. They maybe think she’s overreacting, that of course he hates me Sunny I’m a rainwing and yeah but they wouldn’t go that far haha - but eventually the conversation is overheard and they all realize the truth and the escape kicks off (with the difference of Sunny being in on it this time - unless they maybe still think she might accidentally let something slip).
Also - the moment in the tunnel with Morrowseer fits a little too well to change at all. He opens his mouth to gloat, to tell them all the truth, and no, no, no! She’s pleading for him to stop before he speaks a word because she knows, she knows, and maybe she always has, maybe she should have seen it sooner but it’s the only hope the others have, the only reason they’re still trying and she can’t let them lose it. She can’t lose it. She can’t lose them.
Oh! Also - does she tell the rest of the dod? Probably not, I’d guess. Starflight would be crushed. As far as they all know till the last book, she’s just a weird SandWing. Not only did Starflight fail to have any powers, but she got both. Maybe she tried to tell them before it occurred to her that it might hurt him, but no one believed her. She’s just supposedly really good at picking up on stuff. Can’t hide anything from her.
Also - mindreading and foresight would only feed into the hyper-empathy. She’s so worried about everyone all the time because she can hear their pain, she knows what they’re worried about, she can hear their hopes and dreams and she can see the fates everyone tumbles through. When the dod eventually find out about her powers, I can see Tsunami probably saying something along the lines of “hey, if you can see in everyone’s heads, why did you still trust the guardians so much? Why do you still care about them? Why do you still want to help everyone when everyone is trying to KILL US!??” To which she simply responds that that is the reason.
thrice-moonborn sunny :)

bestowing my highest honor as an artist to ffxv (drawing the characters in fun outfits)
thoughts under the cut
RREAAAGHHHH SO EXCITED TO BE DONE WITH THIS!!!!! it took me forevarrrr but i soldiered through as an act of love. now excuse me. yap time
OKAY SO the concept behind this was originally specific fashion subcultures for everyone!l ike noct emo ignis dark academia etc. but then decided i didnt want to pigeonhole it all and just freestyled outfits i thought would look nice on everyone
noct - i do think noct would still be emo-ish but also opt for comfy baggy stuff a lot. something you could just fall asleep in on the spot. note the details of bass pro shop shirt (of course) XV necklace, little moon + stars accents, carbuncle + fish keychains. i also wanted his metal band logo shirt to spell LUCIS but i forgor some letters but its not very readable anyways
ignis - ignit ooohghh ignos ignaurs. sorry i made him serve so much cunt it will happen again. i drew him first cause that kind of inspired this whole thing i love him so bad if i didnt draw it id explode. not much detail to note except his collar pins are like his double blade thingies
luna - lunaaa the concept was “clean girl aesthetic” idk if that happened but im actually really happy with how it came out! might be my favorite of the bunch just because she looks so pretty and happy. your honor she should have been able to just be a normal girl and just. chill
prompto - prompotoooo i had trouble picking his vibe!!! my first thought was techwear?? because weeheeeehee he loves tech and well... you know... but then i realized i didnt really like the look of anything i saw + it was so bulky and dark and serious for him! ending up going with some more youthful and baggy. i was considering something more loud and colorful but ended up not going with it. i feel like in canon he'd be too nervous to have such a flashy fit and would want to just look "cool" to fit in with the boys lol. itty bitty details here - chocobo keychain, pompompurin and bi miku buttons, and his lanyard is kings knight themed! i also thought it was funny to write LUCIS on his shirt like you know those shirts that just say BROOKLYN or TOKYO or SAN FRANCISCO and thats it. thats what its like
gladio - okay i know this is going to sound like a lie but im not horny for gladio like at all, hes my least favorite, i think he's just alright. but also i KNOW in my heart of hearts that he would LOVE being a leather daddy and so i had to make it happen. main detail to note here is that his tank top has the motifs of a cup noodle! i didnt know what else to add cause you know.. hes the cup noodle guy.. but also i didnt want it to be so in your face about it with a big as logo so kept it subtle!
(side note the leather daddy gave me an idea for a post where its like noct and prom go to a gay bar all nervous but then they run into gladio and its like "p: GLADIO YOURE GAY?" "n: nevermind that PLEASE dont tell ignis we snuck out" and then ignis walks up and theyre all like WHAT THE FUCK!!!! caption would be "the gang finds out theyre all bisexual." probably wont draw it but i think its very funny lol)
iris - iris my sweetheart.... definitely leaned into the scene vibes here and also that one image of the blonde emo anime girl. details here - of course the moogle big ass backpack and keychain (can you tell i love keychains), but also her buttons are an iris (the flower) and also a crown with hearts (haha symbolism)
anyways oh god i didnt mean to write an essay down here. usually i keep this in the tags but this time i just had Too Much To Say. can you tell i put a lot of thought and love into this . anwyays. *walks off into the sunset and fuckig dies*

Sol x GN!MC
No real proof read lol
Warnings: It's mainly fluff but with subtle suggestive and implied non-consensual stuff. (If you played the nsfw version of the game. You'd get what I mean.)
"I know this is a weird request but...I really like listening to you read poetry...So I was wondering if you could...uh...If it's alright. Could you record yourself reading some one day? So I can listen back to it whenever I want, maybe whenever I am about to go to sleep too? To...help me sleep?"
Sol was speechless after hearing you say what you did. He already knew what he wanted to say. A thousand times yes! But his heart was racing and pounding so hard, he feared it would burst out of his chest at any moment now.
"...Sol?"
Hearing you say his name, only made his breathing hitch but he tried to compose himself. Though the clear blush on his face gave away his real nervousness and shyness in the moment.
"I...I--" He struggled to speak, he felt like screaming from joy but also running away too.
"This was too much to ask. I'm sorry I--"
"WAIT! I--" You were startled by his outburst but tried to let him speak. "I'll do it! I just--Is there anything you have in mind for me to read for you exactly or...?"
"Anything is fine, if its from you."
He was thanking any gods right now for this moment, for bringing you back into his life. Oh if he could, he would pull you in and kiss you now but he refrained himself.
Not yet...Just wait...The right time will come again, after all...
"Alright...I...I'll get something recorded for you then."
"Great! Thank you so much, Sol! I appreciate this so much!!" You didn't think twice when you rushed in to hug him, pulling him close. Which he stiffed at the hug at first, then quickly melted into it as he hugged you back. Pulling you in closer, burying his face into the crook of your neck and inhaling your scent...He felt like dancing with joy right now.
Though he felt himself getting too excited from this alone, feared you'd find out. But you let go just on time before anything were to be noticed.
"I better get going, since class is going to start. Talk to you later alright?"
Sol nodded, giving a small "Yeah" with a smile, love struck over what just happened. Then said his goodbye, but was okay with parting ways with you for now, since you'd be talking again later with certainty.
"Talk to you again soon, pumpkin~."
As requested Sol did as you asked, but he didn't record a few lines. He recorded hours of reading poetry for you...As well snuck in some of his own made for you.
Though he felt that alone wasn't enough...He was nervous about it, but even offered to call to read some to you live, to help coax you to sleep. Which did its charm...But those sleeping pills did the real trick on helping you sleep as well.
You'd think that would be it, but like most nights now. He'd sneak into your room, sit by your bed side, or slip into your bed if brave enough to risk it, and cuddle with you. To then whisper more poems of love into your ear as you sleep, as he shows just how much more he loves you...

I'm noticing an uptick in comments complaining that most of the current WIR fandom content is Turbo instead of the other characters and, like... you guys know you can search other characters by their specific tags, right??? Or exclude Turbo from search results by temporarily blacklisting him in your filtered tags?
Idk, it's just weird to me to be discouraging towards people making fandom content just because it's not the specific content you want to see, like, it's ok to want to see other content, but complaining about how other people aren't catering to your tastes enough instead of just making the content you want to see yourself is kinda bad vibes, y'know?? (And that's not to say that I think those comments are intended out of malice of course, I really don't think they are, I just wanted to point out that it can come off as a little entitled, as well as discouraging towards people who just want to draw Turbo, which is something that should be fine if that's what they want to do. Fandom should be fun for everybody, and there's lots of tools available to curate your experience with it!)
#Wreck It Ralph#It also doesn't help that there was a solo Fix-It Felix drawing literally right there only a few posts down from one of these posts and-#-it went ignored?? Like people are going to draw more of the characters you want if you actually show appreciation towards those posts guys#Also this isn't towards any one specific person it's a complaint I've seen like four times in the past few days and I'm like ???guys???#Like heck the entire reason I started writing a Candybug fic was because I couldn't find any SFW fics with him as a Cy-bug#So I was like “Oh ok then I guess I'll just do it myself” lol#And then there's that person who was like “I want more Ralph+Vanny content” and then drew an AWESOME VANELLOPE LIKE??#This is something I also noticed a while back with people making passive-aggressive posts about artists that don't draw Turbo chubby#Like it's ok to not vibe with that but what do you gain from making people feel bad about how they do things y'know?#Be the change you want to see in the world!! Create art for the other characters you like!!!#The one thing we all have in common is our ability to create! So if you can't find the kind of things you want to see from others then-#-try making it yourself! It's lots of fun and then you can also provide more art for other people who might be looking for what you were!#Idk maybe I'm just overthinking things I have no idea lol#I just feel like risking discouraging or making people feel bad about just creating Turbo stuff isn't the way to go about it

Freshman year Fabian loves his friends dearly but he still feels pressure to conform to what he’s been taught is perceived as cool and awesome and like, doesn’t openly want to be best friends with Riz because he’s a loser nerd. Which is mostly canon right? But then he grows into doing whatever the fuck he wants and making it cool because it’s him doing it later. I think that he also gets much more open in his affection towards his friends that aren’t rockstars (and at the time on the Owlbears), especially Riz, who is his best friend amongst best friends (or potentially more if you like Fabriz, but this isn’t a ship thing).
This is awesome for Fabian, but I like to think about how it feels from Riz‘s perspective? It happens suddenly. I mean it took a few sessions, and a few in game days, but he did drastically change over spring break. Which means the last day of school was "Fabian pretends not to be close to me in front of cool people. Which I get haha, that’s fine." and then the next school day afterwards was,,,,not that anymore. I think at parties and stuff Fabian would actively seek out Riz (if he’s there at all lol) after mingling with cool kids because he’s like wow that was fun I’m gonna talk to a person I like more than these guys now and Riz is just? Confused? Yes he understands what changed and this is awesome but it probably takes a while to get used to.
Fabian isn’t the biggest on self reflection, but after abandoning his macho champion persona I do think he would realise that he’s been a little shitty, sometimes. Which doesn’t really speak to what kind of person he is in my opinion, because there’s no one who acts shittier in interpersonal relationships than dumb insecure teenagers, and he fixes it! And I don’t know if he’d verbally apologise but he’d at least get his friends (again, especially Riz) a bunch of stuff and they could probably all tell what’s going on (except Gorgug who has a track record of shitty insight despite decent wisdom in theory). But also maybe he would say sorry, both being a bard and getting in touch with his elven roots would make him more, like, emotionally available I think. (Side note, I do believe most high elves are kinda stiff and suppressed etc. Look at the Abernants and associates. But Telemaine is all about poetry and really living life and self expression through dance. So I think that would positively influence Fabian.)
Oughhh Also Fabian wears the best friends forever necklace btw. It‘d probably still be mostly under his shirts or something but I swear to you he doesn’t take it off. They’re best friends forever fr (and he wore it before his no good very bad day and class change and stuff. He’s always liked it he just wouldn’t have admitted it before lol).
Oh speaking of post toxic masculinity Fabian, he should paint his nails. This is not related to anything I just like to think he would. Clear polish at least, nice and shiny :)
#rambling into the void#dimension 20#fantasy high#headcanons#fabian aramais seacaster#riz gukgak#maybe fabriz? idk

Man even without all the bts interviews or promo stuff I got how much Tim and all were so happy to be back in that world by watching the movie itself. The actual sets. That long stretch of relishing being back in the town with Astrid riding her bike through it. There is SO much love that created this movie its wild to me that anyone could miss it or cynically write it off.
they see all those things as cheap nostalgia bait, instead of, yknow, the source material referencing itself. you can't win with these people
as soon as they heard that tim "didn't watch the original movie in preparation for the sequel" they dismissed EVERYTHING he did saying stuff like "oh he doesn't remember his own movie, he got influenced by pop culture" and shit like that and i was like????? hello????? he didn't say he hasn't watched it in 36 years. what he did say is that he didn't need to rewatch it, because he knows the feeling of it and that's all he needs.
i just want to know how people come to the conclusion that he wouldn't remember his own movie, especially when it was his first hit. i don't know about other people but as a creator myself, you never forget these things unless you were phoning it in, and tim did NOT do that with the original beetlejuice come on lol. i remember the smallest details and personalities of characters i created in elementary school. surely tim burton knows exactly what beetlejuice is about. these characters are so sacred to him he didn't even want to make a sequel until the time was right, he's VERY picky. so what we got is exactly what it's meant to be, because that's what he wanted it to be.

YIIIIPPPPEEEEE!!! I love getting tagged in these things!!! Thanks buddy :)
Favorite Color: Purple. But also red. And blue LOOK IT’S HARD. Purple will always be my number one but red and blue BATTLE to try and overtake it sometimes. Oh shit wait my favorite colors are the bisexual lighting haha that’s hilarious
Last Song: Ok so idk what all this last.fm stuff is about???? But the last song I listened to on Spotify was What’s Up Danger. Yes it’s because of the Spiderverse movie, shush. Before that it was Perfect System by Oingo Boingo and I find that hilarious
Currently Reading: Do AO3 fics count for this? Because I’m not currently reading an actual book lol. If so, the one I will nominate for this is an Inanimate Insanity fic I’m not even close to finishing (BECAUSE 71 CHAPTERS?? HELLO???) called The Neighbor Next Door! It’s pretty well written and I love the way the author characterizes everyone
Currently Watching: Uhhhhhhhh not really anything particularly in the moment I’d say. I did recently watch an object show called ONE though so that was cool. Had to cope with the ending even though I watched it all in one day LMAO. Oh. And I’ve been invested in all the new Inanimate Insanity episodes. Eagerly awaiting episode 18
Currently Craving: Mmmm ice cream. Not even any in particular I just.. Ice creamm. I’m a basic bitch though, just give me a bowl of vanilla ice cream and I will be vvery happy. I also very much like sherbert. I also wish I could have honey pecan ice cream without the pecans..
Coffee or Tea?: Coffee I guess because I’ve drank more of it tbh. I love drinking flavored iced coffees dude. Caffeine doesn’t really have an effect on me from what I’ve seen though, so I’m kinda just drinking for the sweet flavor at that point lol. It’s just that the only tea I’ve ever drank was like.. once when I was sick, so it was disgusting but I powered through, and one that tasted like chapstick. So.
Hobby to Try: I don’t think I’ll ever get around to actually ever doing it but I’ve always thought it’d be cool to learn how to sew stuff. Idk I just think it’d be pretty rad to be able to fix things up, and make your own clothes should you have the fabric, pattern, and time on your hands. But idk. I already do my drawing and singing and acting and writing and baking soooo
Current AU: I don’t have an AU that I personally have made really currently, but I do have a couple that I spin around in my head like a microwave. So for ONE, or HFJONE as the fandom calls it for tagging purposes, I love the “Everyone gets sent back, but now Liam has to bring and keep Airy with him on earth to stop him from making another season of 1” sort of AU. For Inanimate Insanity, I’m a big fan of @bear-boi-5 ‘s Demented Mephone AU!!! It’s very interesting, and I just love to look at how a character and the trauma they go through can change them as a person, and that’s what it’s full of!! For Gravity Falls, Feral Ford AU is a guilty pleasure of mine. I also love the (very small) Time Dilation AU too though.
Tagging: I’m just gonna tag whoever!! Feel free to not do it!! @themathwhizard @thatofabeavers @adams3rdwifeee @slightlybritish @ho-ho-homosxual
Get to Know Me (tagged by @slingbees)
-------------------------------------------------
rules: tag 9 people you want to get to know better and catch up with
-------------------------------------------------
Favorite Color(s): ORANGE!!!!! but also yellow!
Last Song:
youtube
Currently Reading: them Guardians of Ga'hoole books because when I was in the hospital I read one of them.
Currently Watching: I'm going through Red Vs Blue with some friends.
Currently Craving: this peach monster right beside me. don't tempt me.
Coffee or Tea: I haven't been drinking much of either recently, but coffee.
Hobby to Try: Start animating at home.
Current AU: I guess I've been thinking about that Simpsons comic where Smithers gets cloned, fucking hilarious they just start killing each other. Other than that, I don't know.
TAGGING:@sleepypuddding @funkyjunkyfangz @beeframennoodles100 @danklemckspankle @potatoqueensays @notevenhodgepodge @butchbarneygumble @lorogy662 @calpalsworld anyone else too!

it's a Wheeler!
for literally no goddamn reason, have an assortment of Wheelers from various adaptations and depictions ...that aren't John R. Neill's art or Return to Oz stuff, everyone already knows those, haha.
...well ok except this one from the endpaper of Ozma of Oz because it's new to me, at least, and the gutenberg.org copy doesn't have it.
what a dang dork, bless. glad he and Tik-Tok set aside their differences to watch the race.
Illustration
from 1976 Polish edition of Ozma of Oz with art by Zbigniew Rychlicki, via Reddit:
these lads are so stylish and their oversized heads are pretty freaky, dang.
a very 17th century Wheeler from 1970 Japanese edition of Ozma of Oz, art by Sonoko Arai, via Hungry Tiger Talk:
a dang goofy Wheeler by Vlada Stolikovich, 1976. also via Hungry Tiger Talk:
anyway, fuck, um, everything else is under a cut because this post ended up a bit too long oops.
something I have a hard time finding information on beyond that what I assume to be a Korean translation (?) of an Indonesian edition (???) of Ozma of Oz with 3D CGI illustrations. would be fun to see if there's more images within. not a damn clue who made these illustrations, either.
gosh those Wheelers. dunno what the artist was going for but there's a bit of a renaissance vibe. what if this was an animated thing? on that note...
Animated adaptations
the 1987 direct-to-video short Dorothy Meets Ozma of Oz has uh. these fuckers. seemingly there's only two. probably because of low animation budget, lol.
well, I say there's two, but it's just one design with a palette swap one has blonde hair and pink coat, the other has black hair and orange coat or something. also it's not evident from the screenshots but these dorks have long, pretty eyelashes and GAWD the voice acting is. well. hear for yourselves.
one of my favourite moments is Ozma turning up, saying "Enough." and bonking a Wheeler on the head with her scepter. here's the time stamp.
oh yeah I'm sure a bunch of folks have seen the Wheelers as seen in Oz Kids courtesy of this post. they appear in the episode Who Stole Santa. (and no it wasn't the Wheelers, obviously, they're just here to be annoying and trying to prevent the characters from taking a specific path.)
the guy in purple, who I'm calling Squeky Wheel, looks a lot like the Wheeler in this Ozma of Oz chapter art by John R. Neill. poor guy got walloped pretty hard.
anyway only Squeaky talks while his two buddies remain silent. these guys are such pushovers and the kids aren't scared of them at all.
Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz (2017-2020) has these little bobble-headed goobers.
can't say I'm crazy about how they look but their characterization as reckless speedsters is a fun one. in one episode they even make friends with Tin Man after he replaces a busted wheel.
Ozu no Mahotsukai (オズの魔法使い, 1986-1987) has a... very strange interpretation of the Wheelers, but then, the series does play fast and loose with the source material as it is, which I don't mind! an adaptation doing something fun with the source material adds an element of unpredictability which I like... so, I'm not terribly surprised by how much they deviate from the book descriptions.
they wouldn't look too out of place in the B.C. comic strip.
and this segues perfectly to...
Comics
the Marvel comic adaptation of Ozma of Oz by Eric Shanower (writer) and Skottie Young (artist) probably has some of my fav depictions of the Wheelers, and I really like this variant cover (I believe it's by Eric Shanower?)
these guys are utterly freaky but also dang silly. watching these fucked up abominations bumble around defuses the terror.
there he go
so, there's the ones I've seen so far. if there's more that you know of, SEND THEM TO ME I NEED THEM SO BAD HELP
#wheelers#wizard of oz#ozma of oz#soz my inbox is closed but feel free to send a reply and I'll open it

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 1 part 3
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4])
so babe, hear me out. we could adopt him. just spitballing here (agatha, probably)
bwahhaha fantasy!billy and his death stare, meanwhile real billy is such a polite baby
if you look closely you can tell Joe Locke is fighting for his life holding down laughter in a lot of his scenes with Katrhyn. he has nerves of steel, couldn't be me
(also, billy telling her she has neither the respect of her peers NOR a fulfilling home life? harsh, but fair.) (at least her wife is trying to fix the home life part)
honey, don't go around kicking grumpy little twinks now! perfectly in character. despite her chaotic exterior, rio is a very lawful person. she is literally the laws of nature!
the Ballad plays faintly in the background when Billy mentions the Road
I love when good actors have to pretend to be bad actors. and I also find it interesting that Agatha cast herself as a good guy. does it make her feel better about herself? is she telling herself that all the atrocities were justified, that it was only survival instinct? (like rio said, she's only lying to herself)
I had to look up the painting, it's Macbeth meeting the three witches (thank you Reddit!) So Macbeth (Agatha) and Banquo (Billy) meeting Lilia, Jen and Alice?
how did I miss Billy sitting on the chair Rio was just on?! amazing lens choices here too
Wanda's death makes her cry again. I honestly, honestly believe she feels awful about what she did to her. but guilt will never be enough to redeem her - especially because she tends to run away from it.
Wanda's magic was so strong that it took at least four things to undo the spell: Wanda dying, Rio's intervention, Billy's counterspell, and Agatha's willpower. It was a group effort, Agatha could have never done it alone. And despite her scorched earth tactics, there are still two people in her life, rio and billy, willing to help out in her hour of need
it's naughty tiiiime
I still really love the curls
can I say iconique?
it's like someone's about to die at the end of this
bwahahahahaah and oh my GAWD all the case files and boxes, where did she GET that stuff, did she rob a precint, did she make them with the power of arts and crafts
you know what I think? being naked here is a power move. she is being very over the top because she's really uncomfortable, she just woke up and she's in those moments when you stop dreaming and have to relearn what's real and what isn't. she is someone used to calculate and scheme and micromanage every aspect of her life and she is not in control right now. what does Agatha do to reclaim control? she puts on a show. to her, being under the spell was way more like being naked, her insecurities and emotions and past were out in the open for everyone to see. being physically naked could never be nearly as distressing, and this is a nakedness she chose, because it tells people nothing about herself, nothing of what she wants to keep secret and protected. she's got the upper hand, not the other way round
you are all cowards and sheep for not saying Wanda's name, says the lady who would rather hide under a dozen magic layers than face her problems
that is so nice that they brought her groceries actually??? and lol those are the flowers in Agatha's crime scene pictures
that little girl is having a great time
FUCK CLOTHES BUT FUCK THESE CLOTHES SPECIFICALLY!!!!
(wait am I allowed to post butt cheeks? what are the rules right now?)
she turns quiet and emo as soon as she's alone
why doesn't she just - kiss the wiwwle bunny. bury her nose in that big fluffly head. even villains need a cuddle sometimes.
sure, bring señor scratchy. so menacing. that'll show them.
poor boy. trapped in a closet with ralph's bluray collection
aaand I really want to get to the next scene so I'll start on it right away, hopefully it'll be ready later tonight
go to part 4

It's bugging me...
The inconsistencies and a lack of detail and continuity in S2. S1 was all about the tiniest details.
Don't get me wrong, the animation is gorgeous, BUT --
The underwater scene is where Jinx lets Silco go.
He was RIDDLED with bullets. Yet, not a mark on him?
Why is his damaged eye closed? I thought he didn't have an eyelid. Artistically, I think having his lifeless eyes glazed over would have been more dramatic, considering it's Silco. Nah, he just sinks like Jack to the depths of the Titanic.
How deep IS the Pilt River?? I'm assuming that's where she 'buried' him.
The whole first act is so damn rushed.
No one seems to wonder what happened to Silco? He was only the main person holding the Underground together by the strands of his pomade hair. His death is a BIG deal, yet it's glossed over. No one questioned any of it???
Sevika is just, okay, let's move on like it's another day (granted, Zaunites are probably predisposed to be like that, but that doesn't make for good storytelling if you're not letting the audience in on anything), and chatting it up with Jinx as if they just bonded. I didn't feel that happen. I like that they low-key ripped into him post mortem, because that feels natural but what got them in that room together DOESN'T.
I want to know how these characters FEEL. You got that in spades during S1. But S2 is just expecting you to assume or they would attempt to take the time to use what would be great writing and evolving these characters.
Caitlin is hurting, I get it. But she went full Commando Psycho mode. Girl, everyone has lost parents, siblings, etc... She doesn't even flinch when Vi tells her Enforcers killed BOTH her parents. She's lost a beloved sister... but Cait is affronted when Vi shirks from becoming an Enforcer. Let's just forget what PIltover did to Zaun for generations and to LOADS of people.
Vi? Oh girl. What happened to you?
Jinx is a bit better but not much. I don't buy Silco's death was a zap to the brain to chill her out a bit. She's still my Chaos Queen but unless there is something to explain some shit in the following episodes, I'm going to be really ticked at the lack of care in characterizations with who are the supposed leads in this story.
Jesus Viktor. That's it. That's all I got.
Well, I did LOL when he woke up and gave Jayce the "bye Felicia" in 2.2 seconds.
We don't get to know what Ekko is thinking since all this shit went down? As far as he knows, Jinx is dead and to learn to she bombed Piltover?
The music videos substituting for the plot are REALLY bugging me. It's lazy writing. The music was used well in S1 to ENHANCE the scene (well, except for giving Imagine Dragons an animated cameo). Here, it's used as exposition, but it's not nearly good enough.
Useless characters and side-characters. Poorly executed plot devices. Uninteresting plot devices and trying to use the S1 parallels for characterizations.
S1 took time to introduce and flesh out these characters, even the side-characters.
We only had Vander for 3 episodes but he was a HUGE character. Marcus, Mylo, Claggor, Benzo, Grayson, Finn.... all were interesting and played an important part.
Jayce continues to be blah. So I'm not bothered.
Ambessa looks to be the new villain but it's not hitting with me. Plus, there's zero foreshadowing on some stuff in her arc that would have been useful last season.
I like Mel but I'm waiting to see what happens with her.
Hermydingding going all Mission Impossible. Just stop. Does he not give two furry fucks about what happened to his fellow councilmembers and Piltover?
I feel like RIot is trying to shove way too much into one season and sacrificing good story-telling to do it.
I miss the details.
So far, I'm really underwhelmed with this season.

this time i do have horny stuff for you. bad month to have the idea in but oh well. I have this strange HC that Cybertronians are really sensitive in certain parts, for example, a Seeker's wing tips, or just any Cybertronian's spark chamber.
So I had this idea. A human builds a device, basically a fucking rose toy but more hidden. Calls the poor test subject Transformer over and asks them to open their chassis, put the device on their spark chamber, and fucking turns it on. Basically its like putting a vibrator on their clit....
Listen Ghosty we don't worry too much about no-nut-november around here. We're around for a good time not a long time. Heads up, this one got away from me.
Sex toys, spark chamber stimulation, and orgasm denial under the cut! Also a little KOBD with Knocks being a menace. Do I also tag pet humans? It's mentioned once. Eh not gonna tag it, it's not worth hunting for if you're into it lol
Now the *spark chamber* being sensitive? Oh that's a fun one. I thought about the spark because duh, spark merging. But the chamber? Kinda makes sense when you think about it because you gotta know when your important internals are being harmed.
The idea of sticking a rose vibrator on one of them though is hilarious lmao imagine if it's someone like Prowl or Shockwave with a huge chassis so they *can't reach it to take it off.*
What are some other Cybertronians with big chassis that wouldn't be able to reach it? Breakdown probably. TFP Predaking? Predaking is hilarious too because he's so HUGE can you imagine him trying to scrape his huge servos over his chamber to knock it off and he keeps missing it?
There's a size element here too because this could be good on *anyone* huge. TFP Megatron with a mischievous pet human that stuck it on him when he was recharging and it's not strong enough to get him off but it is strong enough for him to notice it.
All the time.
For hours on end.
And he's got big servos, he probably can't even pinpoint exactly where it is! Even worse if it's someone who just keeps turning it off and on periodically.
On the note with Breakdown I feel like-- if you follow me for kobd reasons-- Knocks would love torturing poor BD with it. He already thinks the humans have good tastes in horror movies and cars, he can probably appreciate their ingenuity when it comes to sex too. Plus, he seems like the type to think a rose vibrator would be cute. He'd display his sex toys as little art pieces around his room.
So Breakdown definitely gets one stuck on his spark chamber where he can't reach it. Maybe this is Knock Out's way of revving his conjunx up for some rough interfacing that night? On the occasion Knocks does want to get knocked around by BD, he's gotta properly wind him up first so Breaks can just ENTIRELY ruin him.
Or accidentally make BD overload like six times throughout the day. Knocks is having fun anyway.
#transformers#valveplug#maccadam#request fill#tfp kobd#kobd#megatron#tfp breakdown#breakdown#tfp megatron#tfp knock out#knockout/breakdown#knockout#tfp knockout#i hate having to tag ALL OF THE NAME VARIATIONS#tf prowl#tf shockwave#hm i think thats all of them#fuck#tfp predaking#there we go

So a while ago Jorge talked about scrapped ideas for epic and one of them was Telemachus and Athena going to the lotus eater Island and um! Oops AU spawned!
Basically after killing Pallas, Athena runs away and stumbles upon the lotus eater island, unaware of what the fruit does, she eats some out of curiosity and well, the lotus fruit does what it does and Athena stays there for centuries and the world slowly forgets about the goddess of wisdom and none of the other gods really bothered looking for her after she killed Pallas
Que many years later, Odysseus and Polites finding her when they visit the island and upon seeing a human there (as I’m going off of Epic’s depictions of the lotus eaters being little creatures) polites is like, “hm no we can’t leave her here!” And so they take her with them and it takes a while (not as long as it would for humans bc god powers) she sobers up from the lotus fruit! Yippee! Probably is….who was she again? She spent so long on that island with the lotus eaters she….doesn’t quite remember anything about her time before the island she can’t even remember her name….she thinks it was Pallas though…she does remember that name as it felt important to her! So she dubs herself with the name Pallas! She also can’t remember that she’s a goddess, she had no need to use her god powers well on the island so….she just forgot about it like she did her name
Also in this AU Ares is ody’s mentor instead of Athena :D
Guys wake up we've got a new AU!!!
I love the drama this is certain to bring when it comes out who she is. Like, Ares has a sister? Another one? He'll be so protective of her idndbdjdb
Ahhh I love this sm
Also imagine how high tech the lotus eater island is and Athena doesn't remember she just casually did this stuff (the lotus eaters are very well-dressed too) bc the lotus just messes with her brain in strange ways.
Oh also imagine she remembers her Mom first but doesn't remember she's dead 😭 Or she ends up being convinced her father must have been connected to water, so when the god thing comes out she guesses it's Poseidon and Ares is like fuck bc he took on the family drama with Poseidon (he won the fight on Sparta but Poseidon has Athens)
The drama
Oh and with the cyclops imagine she has a spear close by she could save herself with but she freezes up and doesn't take it cos trauma
But as soon as she has a sword in her hand she's a great fighter purely on instinct. (She can save Polites if we wanna be wholesome about it)
Ok lol that's my contribution hehe

ok sardines headcanons & character thoughts let's go
(aka cos i've been writing a carl x stu fic i've ofc been thinking about them constantly so i have thoughts and i'm making them in a post lol)
carl:
so in the ep they mention he has 2 sisters, rebecca the youngest, and caroline who isn't there but i headcanon as being the middle child, which ofc makes carl the oldest which SO fits with his whole vibe imo!
& i also think because rebecca is younger it maybe explains why she's less affected by the whole thing w/ their father (and why she still calls him daddy, like look, i'm a youngest child, i know we have the reputation of being the spoilt favourites lol) & also why caroline wasn't there! (also the subtle hint as to why, when the nanny mentions how it's been a while since she saw 'the boys'... as in caroline literally moved to another country with her sons to stop her father's abuse Yikes...)
(also i LOVED the sibling moment where pip calls rebecca a bitch and they both turn and glare at him lol... )
also r&s always have amazing costumes in their stuff that speak SO much to the characters and carl's is no different!! that he's wearing a 3 piece suit to a party, keeping as much of himself covered up as possible!
even the way he shoves himself further into the corner of the wardrobe as more people come in... it all speaks to his struggles with intimacy brought on by that childhood trauma...
stu:
i love that on the surface stu doesn't feel overly complex: he's camp he's gay he makes jokes he drinks, that's about it BUT the closer you look at him and esp his relationship to carl it reveals there's so much more to his character than just that!
for me he totally has youngest sibling energy tbh! (not just saying this cos i love oldest sibling/youngest sibling relationship dynamics lol) he maybe didn't get said no to often as a kid, but at the same time is aware of how often he plays mediator between his parents and his older siblings (no i'm not projecting shut UP), so when he lashes out at carl and makes the intimacy issue remark it felt just like that: that he was lashing out trying to get a reaction (cos stu is crass but i don't see him as cruel, and 100% he would have understood why carl has those issues even if carl hadn't properly told him everything about it yet...)
+ all the times he made his innuendos and jokes and carl shut him down, he's fully aware of what he's doing and obviously enjoys pushing his buttons lol (see the 'you're pretty when you're angry' remark he makes about rebecca and carl lol) and i love that we get a glimpse of carl doing the same when he makes the roommate remark lol
there is obviously still turbulence there (mostly brought on by the fact carl is back in the place he was abused so it's like... understandable he would be on edge and snapping at stu), and with every rewatch i am constantly desperate for them to make actual amends before the final reveal, but what gets me is how much love you can still feel between them despite all the animosity :')
oh also stu is a hairdresser i decided lol it just fits perfectly lol (how beautifully styled his hair is in the episode, him loving to gossip and chat and make jokes, i can literally HEAR him say 'you doing anything nice on your holidays?' lol)
#didnt sleep well last night so i had a lot of these thoughts spinning in my head all night lol#inside no 9#carl x stu#sardines#what do i even tag this as lol help#headcanons#character analysis#also (didnt wanna include this actually in the post cos it felt kinda weird alongside my character ramblings)#it was sad having watched this the other day and then hear about timothy west passing (who played their father) :(#like it was a v small role but he was able to bring so much gravitas to it!#anyway as always would LOVE to hear other people's thoughts on these characters in the replies/tags/etc lol#sharing brainworms is what life is about <3

seeing you mention mangahood purists liking manga/broho bc it's "pure" got me thinking: whenever i see someone shit on 03, they'll say "oh it's too 'dark', scary, depressing" (sorry having to confront/acknowledge imperialism is "dark and scary" lmao) and yet, in the same breath, i've seen several turn around and praise mangahood/broho for its "mature themes" and its handling of "dark topics" and it's like... are the mature themes in the room with us?? this is pure speculation and i'm sure i'm not saying anything new here, but i think a large part of why mangahood purists hate 03 is bc it makes them uncomfortable. 03 does not give the viewer the luxury of turning away from the atrocities amestris commits to liore/ishval; they're forced to confront it head-on throughout the show (see: ed standing among a graveyard of liorians, ishvalans getting targeted no matter where they go, etc) and there's no "the military was controlled by supernatural monsters all along!!!" to conveniently pin the blame on either. it's the military itself that's the problem and needs to be taken down. and mangahood/broho purists just don't like that i think.
The critical eye towards the military absolutely makes them uncomfortable and you're right to say it. In fact, it's 03's focus on the suffering begotten by the military and the relative centering of its racialized victims that spoils the fun for a lot of people.
[Because I have a pathological need to ramble for eternity, here's a readmore:]
Without fail most fans who hold Brotherhood and/or the fma manga up to be this dark, mature, incisive piece of entertainment will then levy the weight and severity of the topics they think mangahood adeptly tackles (lol) as a strike against the first anime adaptation. It's practically rote at this point.
They love dark stuff! Except when it's actually dark. Which is therefore too dark. And fma 2003 commits the sin of being dark in ways that the manga isn't, so it's obviously edgy fanfiction for immature sickos who rage against happiness and friendship. It's immature to like adaptations that depicts difficult topics, and genocide as a topic should be an inspiring romp with quirky pals! 😒
It's very telling too. Because the way homunculi are created and societally and personally (mis)function in this version of the world is a mixture of horror storytelling and allegory (for the most hidden and reviled classes of people). It's dark! Certainly I've seen some people complain about the gore and blood associated with the homunculi, their appearances, and their actions. But that's not the truly petrifying darkness that 03 haters gripe the most about. Sometimes they even celebrate that specific element of the 2003 adaptation! No, it's as you said: the highlighted hideousness of the military and its imperialism is what makes them balk in revulsion.
How dare a show about real topics like genocide and fascism not bury the travesties under a thick layer of positive gusto! It should be dripping in sludgey shonen bravado, perhaps even carry the cutesy-kid friendly veneer akin to an 80s GI Joe cartoon instead. Make soldiers fun again! What's with all of this death and misery? Why are people being shown as rightfully disgusted by and against the State?! How come these characters can't overcome their idiosyncrasies, ideologies, and traumas to win the day?? Wait, our military guys aren't even being lauded for feeling sad and get everything they want as a reward??? Scar is willing to sacrifice himself for liberation and we're not fed some pap that helps us despise him and feel suitably smug and comfortable in our own privileged lives while he condemns our propensity for siding with soldiers? That's not right, Scar's a villain! Soldiers are honest good guys! Hold up, there's RAPE?! In my silly anime about imperialism?!!? UM?!
Time and again I find posts ranting about how the 03 writers "had no idea what to do with Scar, so they waste his entire character". Once I get over the initial offense that this causes me (lol), I'm left sitting here wondering what the fuck they're talking about. Did they even watch this show? How can anyone even so much as think this, when he's a pivotal character? And increasingly I have come to realize it's because he doesn't have that fuck-awful ~redemption arc~ (excuse me while I throw up) that everyone looooooooves in mangahood. It's because he would sooner obliterate every single Amestrian soldier across the land than renounce liberation and buddy up to the pigs. He dies accomplishing his greatest act of love for the survivors of genocide, but since these people turned their brains off as soon as "03 diverged from the manga" (which the show does from episode 01 but don't let that get in the way of their manga-purity) they think the Liore arc is random happenstance, with no rhyme or reason, and Scar is still a """""""villain""""""" AND he dies (character deaths always means you wasted a character btw), so therefore fma 2003 is pointless darkness that spits on Arakawa personally.
Never gonna forget the posts that gripe about Scar being "disrespected" in 03 because he... dies on the ground. Guess we're throwing context and analysis to the wind and just misrepresenting scenes for cheap points. Better to make Scar feel like human garbage because he killed genociders! Now THAT'S respectful!
People don't like it when a character dies for their principles and is lauded by the narrative for it too. All of this is too much for the enlightened mangahood purist! It paints such a dire image of what the colonized have to do to push back against their colonizers! Can't we all just get along (and both-sides the invasion of Ishbal)?
Guess there aren't enough tone-annihilating chibi gags interspersed between every other shot of Ishbalans being rounded up into prison vehicles by Mustang and Riza to assuage viewers that all is well, actually. Concentration camps are total bummers. Aren't the Ishbalans supposed to be living tranquil, idyllic lives in the slums ala mangahood?
That's the other piece of the hate against 03: that it doesn't mercilessly break the melancholic, tragic, violent, and ethical/philosophical tones and quandaries with incessant jokes. The majority of the time, you are meant to stew in it, ask yourself hard questions too, while peeling away some of the mysteries presented and seeing how multiple factors play into the actions and circumstances of these characters. None of these factors absolve anything, they are merely another string in the show's web. Levity is mostly sparing. It does exist! Mostly in the earlier eps, with the odd palette cleanser in the middle of the show. But it's hardly as over the top as your average Brotherhood episode, which is incessantly brimming with jokes, gags, chibi/cartoon style shifts, quips, and buddy-buddy comradery, over and over forever. Are we even beginning to feel the tendril of despair from something that happened in Broho? Nope no worries, here's a goofy-whatever suddenly thrown at the viewer 3 seconds into any emotional state that is less than hopeful and cheery.
are the mature themes in the room with us??
The mature themes are dressed like low rent clowns who forgot their props, but I'm meant to play along like it's a mastercraft of artistic expression.
We could contrast 03's depictions of imperialism vs mangahood's, but I want to highlight a different, prime example of how paperthin Brotherhood's darkness is:
Ed and Al's human transmutation.
This moment in 03 has long lasting effects beyond what it did to the Elric brothers' bodies, with this act having created a tortured and exploited entity who can only envision escaping the pain by obtaining retribution against them. Ed lives in denial for as long as he can, until he's run up against a wall and has to dig up Trisha's grave. He has to kill his creation using a stolen piece of his mother's remains. Is this doppleganger truly his mother? Can she ever forgive him? Does he have the right to take an unlife just because he forced her into being, and abandoned her? He will grapple with that for the rest of his life, while having nearly torn his relationship to Al apart in the process. And for his own sake, he will dehumanize homunculi in order to survive his ever growing pain.
Meanwhile, in mangahood? Well, here's this heavy moment where Ed tells Pinako that he's going to face what he did and dig up the body he transmuted buried under the burned house. Things are tense. The mood is almost suffocating, the sky dark, the sound of dirt being shovelled almost sickening. Ed throws up, Pinako trying to help him persevere. He hits something. There's hair. He holds up these spare strands, looking shaken. This isn't his mother's hair? Oh thank goodness, he never harmed mom. In fact, what he transmuted was an empty fucked-up vessel that Al's soul briefly wiggled around in. Phew! Alright awesome, we're all good and all doubts have been wiped away. Mommy wasn't desecrated after all! Here's Trisha's soul later on being so super proud of her boys. Yippee!
So dark mangahood! What the hell was 03's problem tho? /s
Anti-03 posts can sometimes be fun if you're a jackass like me, because I can't help but feel like a smug dirtbag when someone admits to how hard they cried after watching the show- someone even admitted that's why they hate 03! It hurt too much. So odd to see this framed as a negative. I love the hurt. I love when a story challenges you, doesn't make it go down easy, when it has the guts to admit to the hideousness of what was intended to be taken for granted in other contemporaneous media.
I understand that having such emotional overflow and the weight of sadness can be very difficult for some folks. Sometimes you might not even be in the mood for it. But you would think that a show producing feelings of sorrow was a grand affront according to these more aggrieved critics. It's practically an insult to them! Yet when Brotherhood (somehow) renders people to tears, it's a plus. Guess Broho over-plays its saccharine assurances, so that the tears feel cathartic rather than challenging.
Although I have my opinions on the wealth of coddling stories, toothless entertainment, and all the propaganda barely hidden within so much of it; I don't necessarily look down on some people wanting more gentle or alleviating stories. Positivity is not a grievous need, nor am I immune from generally needing some form of it too. However I do think it ridiculous how desperately people in relatively powerful nations want stories about genocide that make them both feel as though they are baring witness to the darkness of the world (a reassuring pantomime to turn your brain off to), while still so sanitized and airy that it soothes their anxieties and ensures them that they shouldn't have to look in the mirror even once. If people simply liked Brotherhood because they like shonen battles or teenagers being friends or some shit, then at least it would be a more honest appraisal of what Brotherhood adequately offers.
However the repeated assertions that it's a mature story or has any aplomb to its surface-level use of challenging themes is comical. Alongside hailing Brotherhood as an anti-racist, anti-military story, but I've harped on about that hypocrisy more than enough times. We know the drill.
I just can't take this specific criticism against 03 seriously. Not because 03 is beyond critique, or that people can't be indifferent to it or dislike it, but it's a hell of a farce to boo it for the same reasons they claim to adore mangahood. They want a "brave noble soldier who solves everything" story. A fluffy copaganda battle anime with none of the ugliness of militarism from the viewpoint of its victims. That's it.
#though both shows are targetted at teens only one of them wears the kiddy gloves for the entirety of its duration#and that's the one that everyone swears is so heartrending and tragic#03 is just mean 🥴#militaries should be fun and wholesome! genocide victims should be placid benefactors for the goals of the military dudes!#ask#vent#meta#(kinda)#fma 03#fmab#quality ask btw i agree with everything

i think that there was a fanwriter named Nemis that wrote a lot of fics about E/C? i liked those fics!
My memory has never been good and after 20 years away it's completely unreliable, but still, that name rings a bell. I vaguely remember her being a nice person that I was aware of but never really interacted with because our areas of interest didn't quite intersect.
i hoped the show would give some spot to Celebrian … and instead. lol.
Indeed! I can just picture the show writers turning their noses up at the thought of writing Galadriel as a mother. She can't be a mother! Whoever heard of a mother being interesting? No one would think it was cool for Galadriel to be an actual queen and seasoned diplomat and seer, with a husband and a child.
Not to mention that Celebrian can't be interesting at all because she dies as a damsel in distress, so she must be a wimp all her life (ignoring the fact that everybody dies in distress.) People can't imagine that her life could have been interesting before that :( Sexism and failure of imagination again.
it would be interesting to see if anyone else had my idea … of course i have not read all the Galadriel/Celeborn fics out there so if someone has those, feel free to drop!
LOL! I'm sorry to end up dropping my own fics on you, but it sounds like you might enjoy my Oak and Willow
(Ignore all the tags, they were auto-imported from Henneth Annun when that archive backed up all its stories on Ao3 and then shut down.) And you can probably ignore chapters 1-4 if you're just in it for the C/G romance. They are world building for Doriath and setting up Celeborn's position in his home, with Thingol, Melian, Luthien and Daeron.
I originally started out intending this one to be a Sindarin history of the world, from the rising of the sun and the moon. But it rapidly became the story of C&G in the First Age. If I had known it was just going to be their love story against a backdrop of the events of the First Age, I might have left off chapter 1 at least, as that was setting up something I didn't actually write in the end.
But it is more or less what you're talking about. So if you're interested, you might like it :)
oh that's interesting, may i ask if it's still online? my beef with peter jackson started muuuuch later with the hobbit movies, but i like to see how other people reacted to the LOTR trilogy when it comes out
Yes, Battle of the Golden Wood is on Ao3 too - also imported from HASA (Henneth Annun Story Archive, which was the place to post elf fanfic back in the day.)
I agree with you about the Hobbit movies! Way too much bloat. There was the occasional nice thing in them - I enjoyed seeing Beorn's house and his bees, for example - but almost everything that PJ put in was grotesque and unfunny and unnecessary. The Hobbit would have made one great film, but there just isn't enough story in it to stretch to three.
as for what you say … i think that that's the current approach of Warner Bros, with its War of the Rohirrim stuff or whatever. i'm not enthusiast about it at all and i would probably complain about it too,
I know what you mean. I'm not enthusiastic either about a Rohirrim spin-off because it seems like they've picked the most low-effort story imaginable. Yes, you can use props from The Vikings and Game of Thrones. You can probably crib story lines from Bernard Cornwell's Anglo-Saxon stories. Have we not seen enough pseudo-early-medieval stories already?
I would have liked to see something we haven't seen before! (Which doesn't mean I won't at least check out the first season. But my hopes are not high.)
i do not want to be mean but btw i do have the feeling that a lot of rop fans are mostly migratory dark romance fans
Oh, the Reylo folks from Star Wars? That would actually make an awful lot of sense. They certainly behave like them. I managed to avoid them by being in the Kylux fandom at the time, and the Kylux fandom was numerous enough to just block them all and carry on doing our own thing regardless. Also a good time :)
it's lowkey … limitating? flattening? because neither galadriel nor sauron fit into this archetype and i do think that forcing them in this dynamic … just doesn't make them sauron and galadriel anymore? but i digress
I know exactly what you mean. I've mostly spent my fandom life in slash (m/m) fandom and there is a migratory slash fandom which is the same. If a pairing gets big enough then the msf will arrive and reduce it to a set of tropes and stereotypes, and then move on to the next big thing as soon as it arrives. In that case, you just have to wait for the next big thing and hope there is someone left still writing to pick up the fandom once they've gone.
Yeah at this point i do honestly wish that everyone can write its own retelling of lotr and publish it.
At least there is the opportunity for us to do it in Ao3, even if we're not allowed to make money on it. We can do it for love :)
Hoo, boy. I am definitely going to unfollow the Celeborn tag again, since it's full of Haladriel shippers arguing that Celeborn stans are harassing them.
I'm not getting into whether that's true. I have no interest in Rings of Power, and as far as I am concerned, Halbrand does not exist in Tolkien's world. I can't be somewhere where people mix Amazon's fanfiction with actual lore.
Also ship wars are not for me. I was a massive Celeborn defender during the release of the movies, and I wrote several novels worth of fanfic then. I think I'm spent.
Still, as a Celeborn fan I thought the Celeborn tag would be a great place to go to find stuff about Celeborn. How could I have been so foolish!
My poor lad! Not even his own tag is about him. Which is exactly what I should have expected, now I come to think about it.
