I'm a non book reader only watched the show when does Jelly happen and when does she describe her love for him? I've heard the third book is a fanfic a bad one at that so if I do read it I'll consider book 2 the ending hope it's a happy one for my ships I love them both. I get why people are annoyed with Belly constantly going from one to the other but that's not in the books right? I wish she would only choose and love Jeremiah I'm getting stick of Conrad's shit since season 1 he reminds me of those toxic male leads from movies like After not that extreme of course but similar.

I just finished book 2 and loved the ending because Belly finally lets go her obsession and love for conrad. Here's the quote I've loved about it:

She literally says that she's not gonna be the only one who says sorry and runs after the person. She finally realizes her worth.

And her description for boys is very different. Ij case of conrad, it is read as some kind of obsession and idolization of the person. And she excuses him always. Like he literally went to his ex in 2nd book, but suddenly this is not considered cheating, but when Jeremiah did the same, he's some kind of villain... Belly is literally the only one who puts on effort and conrad acts only when Belly is with someone else. I know he's been going through a lot, but if he's not ready for a relationship, just don't start it.

And then after realizing what kind of shitty person he is, she realized that she made a mistake for taking him, that she idolized about her and conrad too much, when in reality it wasn't what she has imagined. She came to the conclusion that she should have brought Jermeiah cause he would never do that to her:

She never felt that she was loved fully by conrad. She says this in book 2, I think. He's been crazy about her, but with her, it was usual, nothing exciting for him. Also, it felt like that cknrad just lived that belly liked him. I just feel like it.

And in book2, Jeremiah kisses her and she literally says that the kiss was something she has never experienced cause it was so damn PASSIONATE LIKE HE WAS DROWNING AND SHE WAS AIR, WHILE SHE NEVER FELT LIKE THAT WITH CONRAD!!!!

Also this is the end of book2. Look how she says that Jeremiah is her past, present and future. She says it's true love. While her love for conrad is described as something childish, she says that it's not good love and it's just one time thing cause this type of love will only hurt you!!!

Let me say...his body language screams he didn't want to do the Timmy Turner kiss too. He's uncomfortable af. If you remove your "OMG OS is amazing" glasses off & view it as a critic, you'll get it in a second. He just seems to be in it because, again, his character is getting importance.

Among the 911 cast, there's no one MORE concerned about THEIR position, THEIR role, THEIR screen time etc as much as OS does. He'd promote the hell out of the lamest things if it meant he'll get attention . That's what happened in s6. Taking unethical advantage of the fandom's couch theory & promoting the mortalia track like a giddy kid & being over enthusiastic about "in another life"....all were the cry for attention. And the fandom fell for it.

THAT is what's happening now too. Plus he's copying words from other actors to make his "story" more interesting lol.

My Unpopular(ish) opinions/takes on Legacy of the Gods series by Rina Kent

Contains spoilers ⚠️

Starting off strong, let me just get this off my chest, I really dislike God of Malice. This is mainly due to the insufferable MCs; Killian & Glyndon.

First of all, I found Killian really difficult to empathize with. Sure, what his dad said about regretting having him sucks but that's no excuse to be an a$$hole. I'm sure that if a mid/ugly guy with no money & prestige did the same things he'd done when first meeting Glyndon (iykyk) they'd be mercilessly ripped apart by the fandom. Also that one line in his POV when he said that the main reason why he chose to be a med student was because that gave him a free pass to poke & prod into people's innards & watch them squirm in agony 🤢

Coming to the 2nd part, Glyndon. As a protagonist she was such a blank slate. Killian at least had personality! (A bad one but he had one nonetheless). Same can't be said about Glyndon with her wimpiness coupled with an absurd inferiority complex (despite being talented & surrounded by a powerful & loving family & friends) as well as her lack of a deep connection with her friend group. On a more serious note, I despise the absolute double standards with which she views Killian & her brother Landon. Both are clinically diagnosed psychopaths but she has none of the grace & understanding for her own brother but readily excuses her boyfriend's behavior even though both of them are the same person, different font. 🙄

Moving on to the 2nd book, God of Pain is one of my favorites in the series but not without its fair share of drawbacks. Even though Annika appeared to be a manic pixie dream girl at the beginning she grew on me as chapter by chapter, her POVs revealed her to be more complex & headstrong, contrasting the whimsical image she's perceived as (both by her love interest, the MMC Creighton as well as the other characters like her friends & family). She's a sweet, soft girl with a dormant badass side that can get dangerous when provoked & that's precisely what Creighton had to learn through the hard way.

Getting to the gist of my main problem, I really hated the way everyone treated Annika after the you-know-what. I mean, what else was she supposed to do, watch her beloved brother get murdered by the love of her life? Everyone cut her off 'cause 'she hurt Cray-Cray who's like our brother'. Well, SHE HAD TO DO THAT TO SAVE HER OWN BROTHER, YOU ABSOLUTE DUMBASSES!!!! Y'all brains weren't braining here. Also, that scene near the end where there's this huge confrontation Creighton has with Adrian Volkov & Annika with her quick thinking just snatches a guard's gun, negotiates & diffuses the situation without bloodshed was just chef's kiss. 😌

Also, everyone gushes over Lia & Yan's friendship but Yan's bond with Annika, how he plays the role of the fun uncle while Adrian glares & has to rein them in as the level-headed dad. 🥺

That brings me to this sidenote: Glyndon could take a page out of Annika's book & learn a lesson: How to Love Your Brother & Stand Up for Yourself.

Regarding Jeremy & Cecily, I don't have any major complaints. I like how Cecily put Jeremy in his place & made him grovel for disrespecting her with his trust issues. Putting his mommy issues aside, Jeremy was overall a good character for a dark romance. He's got the hot biker thing going.

Moving on to Landon & Mia. I have nothing against Mia per se. She's pretty cool. I only hated how the author ruined her bond with her twin Maya. Also, I'm kind of ashamed to say that I wasn't the biggest fan of Landon at first but then going through his POVs made me realize that I'd been bought into the anti-Lan propaganda by Glyndon. He actually cares for his siblings, unlike Killian. He just has an unconventional way of showing it. Plus there wasn't a huge power-gap/imbalance between him & Mia so that's another point in his favour.

Last but not the least, God of Fury featuring Nikolai & Brandon has got to be among my top favorites. I only dislike the unnecessary mud-slinging with the irrelevant ex Clara. Everything else was perfection. I never expected Nikolai to be such an adorable & funny character. Also something I find really funny was that both in this book as well as in her POV, Glyndon claimed to be the one closest to Brandon. The way she described her dynamic with her brothers was, "Bran & I are a team against Lan." And not only did Brandon shut her down in a gentle yet firm tone, also her dense arse never noticed anything wrong with Brandon like!?!?! Landon was the one who'd picked on Brandon's tendency to hide & repress his emotions & stuff, and he was the one who'd tried to help Brandon open up, even if his attempt was unsuccessful. So much for her being the one on the same team lol.

Mori is an interesting character if you ignore his pedophilia and the fact that he altered Elise to more closely resemble the 11 year old Yosano and teenaged Dazai. Being an abuser is one thing, Dazai was an abuser too (still kinda is, his interactions with Akutagawa piss me off) and he is beloved by most of the fandom.

It is irritating because the tension and dynamic between him and Fukuzawa is so good and his respect for Natsume and twisted desire for balance is amazing. I wish his ability was something else or maybe, instead of him being (in Elise's words) a lolicon pervert, his desire was to just be a father. To have a child of his own and that could've been the reason he was so fixated on Yosano and Dazai.

It's such a small change but it does wonders for his character, in my opinion at least. No perversion and creepiness towards children just general child abuse and homosexual tension between him and Fukuzawa.

Random Realization and thought...

So, I've been rewatching the X-Men 97 series(felt like it😆), and I realized a few things now that I'm older...

Wolverine is awesome! - he's got lots of issues to work through but he cares for the X-Men, and not just himself. (Several episodes can attest to that. And here's to hoping they won't change that when the series revival comes🥂)

Cyclops and Jean are goals - come on! Are y'all gonna dispute that? And I honestly cannot imagine Emma being the side-chic, to that power couple (y'all can explain to me how that happened 😅)

By Season 2, there is a slight change in art style, but the stories are just as awesome

Jubilee is definitely a kid with a big heart - girl wants to be included, do some action, fix broken relationships... I can go on🥹

Gambit and Rogue are also one of the best pairings - she loves him but hates him, he loves her, and that's why he riles her up on purpose, and enjoys it like the little shit he is. Why didn't I notice that when I was younger?!😅 (And she takes his name in an episode in Season 5 when undercover to protect a young mutant in a small town🫶)

Beast deserves to be with his family, and Carly😭😭😭😭😭 'nough said...

Storm = Arkon (right now, he's definitely a red flag when he first meets Storm. And his overly dramatic way of speaking makes me go🤢)

I need to see Storm meet T'Challa and rule Wakanda, even for a few episodes 🥺- I've wanted to know since I found out she married and divorced our King, plus being queen suits Storm

So I was thinking about something. One of the things that made me realize that I am aroace is that there's no general types of favourite characters I have. Some are the youngest sibling that become the younger sibling of every other older kid they meet, others are older siblings that will take younger siblings among the rest of the cast, some are dads who adopt other cast members, others are complete loners. So if they all made a town together, it'll be this huge mess of different personalities clashing together. They all look extremely different so I have no "type" that I especially like, be it with design or personality really (making myself-sim in sims 2 a pain), just a bunch of weirdos showing the different ways of life.

Even so, despite not liking his dirty jokes, is Gintoki Sakata from Gintama among my favorites despite being extremely different from myself in many aspects (I don't drink, gamble, dirty jokes annoy me but I can ignore them, and I hate attention) is he also one to take others under his wings, knows when to be serious, is creative, and judged for being different. But ever since I started reading it, Irma Lair in W.i.t.c.h. has gone on my nerves. Thinking about it, she's in some ways a young girl version of Gintoki. So why do I adore one but despite the other?

I know Irma is popular especially early on does she bring in some much needed comic relief, she's my favourite author's favourite character, so why... Does she piss me off? Only thing I can think of... Is how boy crazy she is. I'm not saying it's wrong to be, feel free to to be crazy about your crushes, it's just not for me. But... It was expected of me. From a cousin's uncle harassing me at dinner parties coming with names had possibly could belong to my supposed "secret boyfriend", how an aunt shipped me with her neighbours (both the same age and much older 🤢), how nearly every adult (people who have been adults my entire life) expect me find one. Irma represents everything I hate about this feminine body (I think I'm agender as I don't feel strongly towards gender at all and would be happier without any of the "characteristics"), excepted to wanting guys to give me attention, be funny when it's expected of me, offer my body to the world (she went to parties in her guardian form for attention), spending hours in the bathroom and telephone like a stereotype from the 90s, always joking about anything and everything, lusting after older guys even much older so I thought it was the norm... While I still do not like her.. Do I feel a little bad about disliking her over people's expectations of me...

If you wonder, although probably not, my favorite W.i.t.c.h. character is Will, but her boy Matt-troubles were always the sides of her i liked the least..! After will there's Taranee, Orube, Hay Lin, Elyon, and Cornelia, in that order.

Harley Quinn & the Legion of Bats #6 concluded the series last week. What did Cass do in the issue and what becomes of her? How is Cass's overall appearance in the comic?   Questions. So many questions.  Time for answers.

Naturally, every plot thread in the comic is wrapped up this issue by writer Tee Franklin with a nice tidy bow. No loose plot threads. Everything is contained and ended that the story created.

Harley and Ivy are the centers of the story, with each doing their thing well. I found the ending quite cute. That and it's not nice to mess with Mother Nature.

So what about Cass? What did I think about this issue aka the million-dollar question probably on many's minds? It didn't bother me at all.

Already at the core, Harley Quinn: TAS is flawed by having Babs as a college kid and Batgirl. So anything done with Cass is burdened with a lot of rules from the get-go.

#1 She has to be younger than Babs. 

 #2 She can't be Batgirl. 

 #3 She can't fully be with the Bat-Family. 

#4 She has to be written out to "preserve" continuity.

Course the question becomes will Harley Season 4 even acknowledge this mini? I hope it does, but odds are likely it won't.

Which odds are even more likely there will be 0 Cass in Season 4. 😖

So with ALL these rules, Franklin does a very admirable job with Cass. You can tell she likes the character (along with Tiffany Fox). Still surprised this series had 0 Stephanie Brown. Figured Franklin would go full League of Batgirls homage with three out of the four.

Now I want to reread the comic as a whole to see if she fully slipped it in there. I'm a bit surprised Tiffany or Cass didn't have a line like, "WE WANT TO BE BATGIRLS!" But I digress, we did get a few nods of other things with Cass.

So let's talk about the “bat in the room” first aka the thing many fans freaked out about.  Cass pecks Damian on the cheek.

I get the "why" fans are ticked. It's a common Batgirl trope outside media (mainly Babs) where the Batgirl is used as nothing more than a love interest for a Robin or even Batman himself.  The idea itself is 🤢🤢🤢 HOWEVER--

I took this kiss on the cheek as a nod to the past.  Namely showing kindness as best she can to kind people. Nothing romantic per se, just Cass expressing thankfulness for the kindness.

See for this ENTIRE series Damian's been there for her.  Not Babs. Not Dick. Damian. I know Franklin couldn't fully showcase "the why", but given the two's similar origin paths. It’s more of showing then telling.

I think Damian realized after last issue's Cass owning of Babs and putting together the facts that she and Vixen's case involved children used as weapons. I think it's a rare case of Damian showing some humanity. Something he's barely shown in the HQ series.

The other is well-- someone to bond with. Damian has teenagers and adults he deals with constantly. No one HIS AGE. Cass and Tiffany are the first kids he's met and is vigilanting with. It reminds me of Steph coming to this realization in Batgirl Vol 3. That deep down thru all the ice Damian gives us, he’s a lonely kid who was denied this. So he’s giving Cass something he never got. 

This was one of the few times he let the walls fade and we saw him for who he truly was: lonely. Even the panel prior gives it away. Cass can see it in his body language.

That he's not a punk kid and is adept enough to recognize things and showed Cass something she hasn't ever seen-- kindness.

So I feel the kiss on the cheek was Cass thanking Damian in her own way along with it being the only dialogue she had in the series.

I don't take it anything romantic at all between the two for the scene. Just Cass being Cass and Damian showing deep down he's kind of a softie and her being eternally grateful for that.

I really don't think Franklin was going with this trope AT ALL.  I found this mini to be a small love letter to the character, and Franklin doing the best she had with the limitations she's got.

Speaking of which, given that this was the end of the series what becomes of Cass? That was the question I was asking myself. Could she end up with the Bat-Family?

Doubtful, again given the "rules".

A happy ending with an adoptive family was what I thought was going to occur. Nope, and the twist Franklin gave us surprised me...

Cass is going to Themyscira and being adopted by the Amazons with Diana as her "big sis".

For years Cass fans wanted this to a degree and well ironically we got this from TWO separate writers who decided, "WISH GRANTED!"

Now writer Tom Taylor's Cass from Dark Knights of Steel was more a sleeper agent of Bruce's who bonded with the Amazon ways.

I think it's quite nice to have two writers reach this conclusion with Cassandra on their own and weave this take.

By doing this, Franklin takes the restraints and leaves it open for the possibility of this Cass coming back (if she's given another series).  But if not? We got a firm seed that she can return.

That is if the actual cartoon will ever acknowledge this (it probably won't).  Though I think it should.

Cause Franklin took the stuff that Season 3 left and did an excellent job doing her own thing with these characters.

Like a sweet dessert after a hearty main course.

I'm not going to begrudge Franklin for not fully defining Cass here. She had six issues with MULTIPLE characters (and Cass wasn't a main). This was just a nice nod to the character.

Something at the very least the main series SHOULD have given us. I'm thankful for this gift. Because anything Cass should be cherished.

But that's just me. I'm just this way after this long road I've been on with the character.  I'm more open to new paths for the character and ones that open new readers to them.

I'll take this a hundred times over than what we got in Gotham Knights which was the same old same old. So yeah I want to thank the creators for this series for this fun story. I had a kick and I want more.

I really want to thank Tee Franklin for doing this. She didn't have to include Tiffany or Cass in this series, but she did. And they both stole it for me.  I mean obviously Cass for me because...

🚨Spoiler-filled thoughts on the new Total Drama Island from someone who just bingewatched it (me)

I went into this season with zero expectations so I wouldn't be upset when my favorites left, and I'm kinda glad I did because it was kinda mid tbh

Ripper should've been out first. He should've been the filler character designed to go early that everyone immediately turned against.

That WAS too early for a merge WTH

When they got down to the last marshmallow in each episode, I predicted the character I liked more would get eliminated and, not counting Zee, I was right 5 out of 10 times

Chase and Emma 2 were about as interesting to me as Devin and Carrie were (i.e., not)

Imagine making a whole episode about farts 🙄

It was around episode 12 when I realized "damn this show's really still going isn't it"

The use of CGI was interesting! On a related note, this season has a lot more cinematic shots in general - I like it!

If Camp Wawanakwa's back, does that mean its sinking has been retconned? (Can we retcon the rest of All Stars too while we're at it? 😆)

The only characters I really enjoyed watching were Scary Girl, Damien, Bowie, Zee and MK

Scary Girl is fun to have around, but her only purpose is to be creepy and funny, and she has no business outlasting better characters. A hypothetical compromise could be her getting booted earlier next season then staying as an intern!

If I had hopes for the next season, I would hope that Zee and MK make it to the finals!

the whole david exploring max scene was so cautious and soft, it feels like when you come home after a long time of being away and just feeling that immediate sense of comfort

“Max wanted to help and when he realized his way of helping didn’t help, he got frustrated.” honestly i’m on david’s side with this one. as mature as max has become, it’s hard to accept that his way of helping david won’t work any longer. david needs to be in complete control of his healing, he has had his autonomy taken away too much for anything else. luckily for us, max is very much a “tell me what you need and i’ll do it”

david finally writing again! and writing about other max!! 

talking about games throughout the this chapter and even in the white house party scene was just so neat to me. for me, it kinda represents david purposefully lying to himself, or feeling like he needs to lie to himself, so he can heal. in some ways, he was playing the game for the entire 13 years he was divorced and making max hate him. but he doesn’t need to play any game anymore. know he just needs to be david.

oh the character development of these two 🥰 i really feel like a mom watching my kids grow into the best versions of theirselves.

i was JUST thinkin abt some pov tenko fics i wanna write this came at the perfect time!!

Sexuality Headcanon: tenko's sexuality isn't really something you Can headcanon imo. i just made a post about this but tenko is canonically a lesbian, and she is also canonically attracted to men, because the authors of v3 are lesbophobes. her FTEs and love hotel are all about how she needs a good man to “fix” her. which is so fucking disappointing considering ch2 of thh had the Exact Same Problem - chihiro is textually a man, but only because the authors think trans women are men who are “too weak” to live as their AGAB. sigh.

Gender Headcanon: cis lady i think...although the transfem tenko headcanon is extremely funny 2 me considering she keeps asking every man she meets to transition. infecting them....

A ship I have with said character: i really really like tenmiko!! obv there’s some poorly-written aspects to their relationship but a lot of it is better than people give it credit for. p much every romance in dr is a tragedy and tenmiko definitely lives up to that. himiko being frankly pretty shitty to tenko and only realizing how much she needed her after it’s too late is GOOD ANGST and i wish there was more fandom content for it...most tenmiko stuff tends to rewrite them to be totally healthy from the beginning and!! no!!!! give me my messy gays or give me death. they can go to therapy postgame.

A BROTP I have with said character: she has appealing relationships with most of the cast...i love her and kiibo both being idol fans, they should go to a miku concert together. her and kaede are adorable from minute one. i love her and kaito being siblings. her and angie butting heads is great, angie is so deep into unhealthy coping mechanisms and it makes tenko So Mad. honestly she’s pretty healthy emotionally compared to the rest of the v3 cast, so most of her interactions with these freaks are inherently funny.

A NOTP I have with said character: a...amacha 🤢. i shan’t say anymore, my feeble heart cannot take the strain.

A random headcanon: i think she has shit parents...between them sending her to a temple instead of therapy for her anger issues and some uncomfortable stuff she says abt alcohol, i don’t think it’s hard to extrapolate that they Weren’t The Best. i feel like she probably knows this and has zero intention of going back to them, ever.

General Opinion over said character: agonizingly poorly written except for a few good moments (like her i’m-obviously-about-to-die speech to himiko, which is poorly placed and timed but still good). despite this i love the version of her in my head very very much and i would like her to bridal carry me into the sunset please.

2023: A Mixed Bag

Due to the mental health struggles of the past year, there's a part of me that's tempted to say that 2023 can go kick rocks.

Honestly, though? Despite my mentallth issues, the year wasn't all that bad. Ups and downs with the new house—thankfully nothing we couldn't solve.

I think what made 2023 unbearable is that we didn't do a short-range road-trip like we've been doing every year since 2020. A lot of the issue was the cost of gas, plus having to deal with vehicle issues—not ours, thankfully but the bf made the mistake of volunteering to fix the transmission of an '07 Nissan Altima when in reality, what that PoS needed was to be hauled out to a field, filled full of tannerite and hillbilly nuked out of existence.

I never ever want to smell burnt transmission fluid ever again 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Apparently, the '07 and '08 Altima model years are known to have garbage transmissions. Of course, actually taking care of the vehicle plays a huge part—which in this instance, lack of proper maintenance was definitely an issue.

Fate Grand Order Thoughts

I wasn't impressed with the past year. Little Big Tengu, Grail Live, and GUDAGUDA 6 were the only events that were actually fun. Summer 6 dragged on longer than a power-up in Dragonball Z, and the Halloween event was a snoozer—unless you happened to be a Liz fan, that is.

My gacha luck was almost on fire until Summer 6—somehow, I used up my luck while rolling on the Lostbelt 6 banners for Percival and ended up with Morgan, Barghest, and Baoban Sith.

Really, when you get right down to it, Lostbelt 6 was the only chapter that had a worthwhile story this year. Tunguska was very anti-climatic—in fact, to me it felt rushed. The revelation about Koyanskaya not being a Tamamo wasn't surprising and I'm not sure why.

I know what we're seeing in NA is the combined effect of the pandemic, and DelightWorks being sold to Lasengle, has had on production quality.

Honestly, other than Traum, I find that I can't get hyped up for 2024 at all.

Okay, maybe I can get hyped for 2026 because that's when Takeru Yamato will be released on the NA server. Oooooh, and he's an Arts Saber too 🤩🤩🤩

On that note, I still need to return to Samurai Remnant. Holding off until I upgrade the thermal paste on my CPU. I should've known better than to use the paste that came with the AIO cooler.

Creative Streak and the Return of Silent Shadow

I think the biggest positive is the possibility of bringing back Silent Shadow, and realizing that I should have fought harder thirteen years ago to keep the project going.

Sometimes, it takes that long to rediscover yourself. I lost parts of myself during that first two years working as a software engineer, which contributed to me deciding to axe Silent Shadow all together.

In all honesty, the possibility of a revival has always been there since I finished Hawk & Wolf in short-story format back in 2017. What has taken so long since then is basically a rehash of what happened after graduation—life interrupted (family separation, bankruptcy, house-fire, etc.) Not blaming 2020 because despite the clusterfuck of that particular year, for me personally, it was actually a good year.

Come to think of it, it was towards the end of 2020 that I seriously started outlining the Silent Shadow prequels and filling out character profiles to get to know the characters better. *I realized that outlining the prequels also became a means of coming to terms with the shit that warped my childhood. It's why I've said in the past that art is often a vehicle for the artist to heal themselves of past trauma, and sharing that art with the wider world is an act of bravery.

I noticed as far back as 2013 that there were similarities between my life and Syleth's: absent father (in my case, emotionally absent), and an abusive mother. One thing Sy has going for her that I didn't was the positive influence of extended family, plus friends and sibs that actually cared about her.

Been pushing my Blender skills with rigging, shader nodes, and now geometry nodes. I think one of my goals for next year is going to be improving my sculpting abilities.

The Sun Leads Back To You

This is my main project at the moment, and has been my source of therapy for a year now. I restarted the current version in April 2022 when I began getting really bad anxiety attacks again and my mental health was ✨on the ground✨ because how else would I cope lol. I hereby present you with a synopsis 🫶🏼

When on vacation with her family in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Sofía Barrera finds her almost-boyfriend kissing another girl. In an attempt to make him jealous, she asks a random stranger to kiss her. Eager to make her ex even more crazy, she enlists the help of British tourist Thomas Woods to fake date her.

Thomas Woods doesn’t know what he hates more - the brain melting heat of the Costarrican beach or being forced to spend two weeks with his mother’s fiancé and his brand new step siblings. Desperate to get away from them, he accepts an offer to fake date Sofía in exchange for one thing: she gets him away from his new family as much as possible.

I’m on it’s 3rd Draft, about to start the 4th and final once my beta readers finish reading it sometime this month. My current plan is to start querying it on June 1 as a birthday present to myself :) This book has meant the world to me and has helped me move on from so many things that it only feels appropriate to begin its new chapter as I leave my final days of teenage writerdom and entire my 🤢 20s. Sofia and Thomas are the products of my greatest flaws and pride, and yet I hope they will eventually find home in readers’ hearts like they’ve done in mine.

The Wrath of Chaos [working title]

Now that I’ve gotten the super gross part of the way, I am pleased to announce that once I send out TSLBTY into the query trenches, I plan to reimagine one of my favorite worlds I’ve ever written! I tried querying this book before and it went terribly, BUT the other day I got an idea on how to make this book better and I CANT WAIT to put it to paper. While I have loved having my dearest, slightly depressed Marty on the spotlight, I’ve decided to shine a little bit of light on my favorite character of all time: Chaos. In this new version, he will be aged down and gain his own POV chapters in the book so that finally, he and Marty can be direct mirrors of each other like they were always meant to be.

The Time Travel Wip

Working Title: The Time Keepers or Daughter of Time

One of the darkest concepts I have ever come up with, the time travel wip is a sci-fi/romance/thriller about a girl so desperate to return home, she accidentally destroys time😃 In the unfortunate experience of outlining, I realized that the plot was WAY too flat and so I need to rethink a lot of the aspects, which is why it’s so down the line of priorities right now. But I’m fine with that! Good books take time, and I’m excited to see what this wip will end up in once I’m a little less tired to think it through again lol

My plan for this one is to restart the outline eventually lol as soon as I can figure out how to up the stakes. Usually I have no issue with high stakes, but the entire concept of my characters being lost through time made it really hard to keep up with what they have to lose since it’s so difficult to remember the order of events even though it’s written down haha. Definitely my most ambitious project so far, which is why I have no issue taking my time with it. I’ve rushed through these wips in the past, and I’ve come to learn that a quick project will never be worth more than a well done one.
