Dude I need claws SO bad. Except I need prosthetics to be really sturdy, so I can actually like. Use them for shit. Like I wanna be able to wear them to help me climb or claw at stuff or whatever I need them for. But people only make like plastic or foam or resin claws. It's not STRONG enough. I need like. IRON claws. STEEL claws. Claws I can climb trees and rock faces with. Claws that could kill a man if I wanted them to. It's a fucking TRAGEDY these aren't a thing, and I swear to God I'm about to learn metalworking just so I can make myself a suitable set.

Can I just say I fucking love how One Piece has revealed one of it's core messages to be "those in power have an obligation to recognize when it is time for them to step down and allow the next generation to carry on in their place, even if that next generation does things differently, bcs nothing stifles freedom and progress like a stagnant society so obsessed with it's past rulers and their legacy that it can't see the cracks forming until it's too late" like that's not just correct, it's straight up CATHARTIC!! Like yeah, Oda, you're right!! Hyrule and Pocahontas!! Merry Christmas Eve!!🎄✨

I absolutely LOVE this pairing; Hyrule would find such comfort in Pocahontas and in the wisdom she has to share, especially in regard to how his Hyrule (the place, not his name lol) is usually portrayed as barren and destroyed, while Pocahontas' lands are bountiful and peaceful. Additionally, Hyrule is very connected to nature, and Pocahontas is as well. They are also both very curious and love to explore! I think Hyrule would also be great friends with Grandmother Willow 😁

I had so much fun with the background, and I hope that I met everyone's expectations for this one! I can definitely see Pocahontas taking an older sisterly role to help encourage and guide Hyrule. I hc that Hyrule kinda grew up alone and as a wanderer, so Pocahontas' kindness, compassion, calming presence, and hospitality would be deeply healing to him.
