It's so terrifying to know about the genocide taking place in Palestine, but everyone's courage and unyielding bravery gives me hope that things can be changed for the better.

And by everyone I mean the people Palestinian, they have faced so much cruelty and apathy from the world but they are still fighting for their home and human rights with courage and bravery. You are amazing.

By everyone I mean the reporters in Gaza who are risking their lives to keep everyone well informed and get the word out about what is happening and not letting the people's stories go unspoken. You are amazing.

By everyone I mean the protesters who go out and are unrelenting in their support of Palestine. You are amazing.

By everyone I mean the people who donate to the right organisations, such as ones that will bring SIM cards to people in Gaza so they won't be cut off from the world. You are amazing.

By everyone I mean the people who spread real information and inform people of ways they can help and support Palestine. You are amazing.

By everyone I mean everyone who has joined the global strike. You are amazing.

By everyone, I also mean people who are helping in anyway they can, if you aren't able to do the most, do what you can, it's okay. You are amazing.

This world is scary and dark sometimes but every time I start losing hope for the future, I think about how many amazing people there are that are willing to do something about all the scariness and darkness. You're all amazing and you give me hope that things can be changed! I'm sending you all love and well wishes, you guys are all beautiful people and I'm thankful for your bravery everyday.

I dunno, and I haven't read the Ascendency novels to be clear, so I can’t speak of who he was before his exile - but maybe Thrawn accepting Grand Admiral for that shitshow on Batonn sealed his fate. Maybe he wasn't the one to pull the trigger, maybe he was appalled by the needless death - he still took the promotion, even if he didn't want it. The moment he took the rank plate was the moment the blood on his hands became insignificant in the grand scheme of things. The moment where all his intentions begin to be buried by his actions.

Everyone is all about how Thrawn isn't that bad of a guy - and honestly I do agree that his character is misunderstood more often than not - but he still did terrible things with the Empire. Turned a blind eye and condoned much more with silence.

Because the fall of Nightswan and Batonn may not have been his fault - but he accepted the stain when he took his promotion.

For all you try to keep things fair, it doesn't matter if you're working in a system that is instituted to be cruel. And while Thrawn had never claimed to be a good man, and had only joined ultimately for the protection of his own people, there's something to be said of this deterioration of morality. How he doesn't understand politics, but is still shaped by the dangerous and vindictive workings of Imperial political scene, forgoing honesty for station.

Pirates and smugglers turn to insurgents and rebels. Capture turns to execute. He kills to prove a point.

He develops for the worse. For all he shapes the Imperial Navy, it shapes him all the same. I dunno. Complex character and all o that. He’s no scum of the earth true evil, but he’s no shining star either.

Just saw a post that said "not fair that the cuntiest woman in this world is a muppet (ms. piggy)"...I have actually spoken extensively on this topic and it is my belief that to regard Miss Piggy as anything other than a stunning woman on the same level as any other beautiful woman is disrespectful to the Muppet artform and the suspension of disbelief that we as a society join in when we think of the Muppets and Miss Piggy as a pig and a woman. Feeling absolutely awful and stressed out recently, since my tiny pea-brain hates me and I never get enough sleep. Solution? Write/draw/imagine a ton of agere stuff. Probably going to work on a thing where Hercules (the Disney version of him) is a cg to my self-insert character. I still headcanon him as regressor leaning, but I think it would also be cute to see him figure out what being a cg is like. He's also one of my comfort characters, besides Raine Whispers, Eda the Owl Lady, and many others.

I feel like he's the kind of guy who would cheer you on, no matter how much you hate yourself, and regardless of your past mistakes. He's a big ol' sweetie and I wish he was real because I want to hug him.

Honestly it’s no wonder my chemical romance broke up when they did. Making the Black Parade was a traumatic experience for everyone involved, as they recorded in a haunted studio and had mental breakdown after mental breakdown; they then proceeded to tour nonstop in heavy, disgustingly sweaty uniforms; they were accused of starting a suicide cult by the daily mail and blamed for a teen’s death; they then wrote an entire new album and scrapped it because it wasn’t good enough and the members couldn’t decide on a direction (those songs would later be released as Conventional Weapons); put out danger days and toured again nonstop, all while the members had various other side projects; like, if they didn’t break up, they would have beaten each other unconscious in the back of a van at that point.

What IS surprising to me is that they not only did they reunite, but that they put out a song quietly, with no fanfare, that somehow managed to be one of their best tracks yet, becoming one of the only (if not the only; that’s subjective for sure) reformed ‘00’s ‘emo’ bands that actually stands a chance of crafting albums just as good as their first ones.
