hiii outer banks anon back- storyline wise I was thinking maybe sarah’s struggling with how things ended on the boat (she’s legit on bad terms with her whole family post s2 which must suck) and she regresses early in the day while she’s supposed to be doing [insert task] with jj and he ends up taking care of her til the others show up and ask what’s going on but jj is in full caregiver mode™️ and sarahs still regressed so they get little to no answers and just go along with it

- also if you could add in jj calling sarah princess but ofc no pressure, just a hc of mine that he would - also no pressure if this is too specific of a storyline for you to write

Plot: Sarah regresses and JJ takes care of her

Sarah and JJ are the only people on the beach. 2 specks in a mile of white sand and blue ocean.

The rest of the pouges are back at the hut. John B's fast asleep because he had night shift, Kie is cooking the fish that John B caught, Pope is making a rain capturer and Cloe is making a spear to make fishing easier. JJ and Sarah are trying to forage for some food to add to the store. JJ is knee deep in the water trying (and failing) to catch a fish with his hands. Sarah is supposed to be collecting some edible berries and leaves.

Currently, Sarah is sitting in front of the bush, twirling a berry in her hand as she looks out the horizon, completely lost in thought.

She stares out into the ocean as images of her father and rafe's betrayal occupy her mind.

"Sarah! I got one!" JJ shouts, holding up a fish which promptly squirms out of his hands and swims off. "Sarah?" JJ calls again, abandoning his bid to catch a fish when she doesn't respond. "Yo Sarah? You alright?"

"Hey, Sar" JJ says softly, kneeling beside her. He gently places a hand on her shoulder, finally grabbing her attention. "What's wrong?" He asks gently, sympathy and worry etched over his features.

Sarah just looks at him with wide, scared eyes. She opens her mouth to tell him but all that comes out is a sob. She launches into him. JJ catches her with one hand and steadies them both with the other.

"Whoa Sarah? What's going on?"

Sarah just hiccups and buries her head into his chest. She whines when no words come out of her mouth. This isn't the first time that she's had one of these days where her words don't work and her movements aren't quiet right and she kinda just wants to curl up in a ball with one of her childhood stuffies. But it is the first time that it's ever happened in front of other people.

The two sit like that for a while, sarah sobbing loudly into JJ's chest and JJ trying to sort out what is going on. They don't move until Sarah's sobs have slowed to the occasional sniffle and JJ has worked out the questions he wants to ask.

The way that Sarah is snuggled up to him and her soft mumbles remind him oddly of himself. As far as he's aware, noone else on the pouges regress. But noone is aware that he regresses.

"Sarah? Can you look at me?" He asks, not unkindly. When Sarah doesn't move from her position, he tilts her head up so her watery eyes meets his concerned ones.

"Feel funny..." She murmers, burying her head into his chest.

"Awe that's alright princess, have you felt like this before?" He asks smoothly, careful to keep his face neutral to not freak her out any more. She just nods against him, sniffling as she works herself up again into tears.

"Oh please don't cry! It's ok!" JJ is quick to console, rubbing her back soothingly. "I have days where I feel funny too."

The two lapse back into silence, Sarah quickly calming down in JJ's arms.

"Do you wanna help me try to catch a fish?" JJ asks when he's confident that she's calmed down. He offers up the fish as a way to distract her until its time to head back to the hut.

Sarah grins and nods her head enthusiastically. JJ takes her hand and pulls her into the water, showing her how to herd the fish towards him so he can grab them.

With her help, JJ starts to grab more fish. The two work together for hours. They probably would have caught more fish if Sarah didn't keep tripping over and scaring the fish away but JJ wasn't about to say that. They already had enough fish for the next day so he was mostly just trying to entertain her.

The two were so preoccupied with their efforts, giggling amongst each other and splashing one another, that they didn't even notice when John B and Cleo stood at the beach, watching with fond smiles.

They came to come find Sarah and JJ when they didn't come back when they were meant too. They didn't disturb the pair though, instead choosing to leave and come back with Pope and Kie.

By the time they come back, JJ and Sarah have dragged themselves out of the water and onto the beach where they were counting the fish (well, JJ was counting. Sarah was off to the side making a sandcastle).

"9, 10, 11. We caught 11 fish princess" JJ says, mostly to fill the silence. Since Sarah slipped, she's mostly been quiet so JJ has just been talking to her. He's not even sure if she's comprehending what he's saying but he doesn't want to make her feel like he's ignoring her so he's been chatting away.

"JJ? What's going on man?" John B asks, confusion clear in his face. Sarah looks up and whimpers his look, tears quickly brewing.

"Oh don't cry Sar. Look, here's a seashell. Why don't you put that on your sandcastle?" JJ jumps to distract Sarah before she dissolves into tears again.

John B just looks back at the other 3 and shrugs, confusion still clear on his face.

"Sarah? What are you doing?" Kiera tries, confusion evident in her voice. Sarah whimpers at her tone but doesn't even turn around, choosing to dump sand onto her 'sandcastle' (pile of sand).

"Quit freaking her out" JJ lectures them, not turning around either. He guts the fish while Sarah is busy with the sandcastle. The 4 just stand there, oogling the site before them.

JJ lets out a heavy sigh. "I can't explain what's going on right now but you can't just stand there looking like fools. Either help Sarah with her sandcastle, help me gut these fish or go back to doing your jobs at the hut"

This jumps the 4 back into action. Cleo and Pope head back to the cabin to finish their projects. John B sits down next to JJ and starts silently gutting the fish with him. Kie sits down next to Sarah and starts chatting to her while shaping the sandcastle.

Sarah starts babbling to Kie while dumping more sand on. JJ glances back every so often but doesn't step in. He keeps an eye on the situation but lets kiara watch Sarah.

John B, Kie, Sarah and JJ don't head back to the hut until the sun starts setting. JJ is carrying Sarah because she refused to walk.

In the morning, Sarah is sure to be embarrassed and the group will have to have a long talk but for now they're happy to just support one another without question.

I actually think Rabbit both regresses and is a cg!!

Very fussy during regression, but not in the sense that he wants to be babied as much as he wants things kept how he left them when he was big. He's very particular about his home, and he will NOT abide by any messes just because he's small!!

If he had a tv he'd be one of those toddlers who screams at the tv like NOOO ELMO THE HAT DOES NOT GO ON YOUR FOOT!!!!

But on that note, he can be very very silly. It's a lot like when he's big - he'll pout and glare about it at first but with the right tricks you can have him giggling and happy

When he starts to have fun, he gets REALLY into it. Think of that episode in New Adventures where he dresses up as a wizard - if he gets too wrapped up in a game he has to be redirected eventually or he'll never get any rest (and neither will his cgs)

Loves picking flowers with his cg and bringing a plushie out to his garden to show off his plants - as long as they bring a blanket so nothing gets dirty 🙃

Gets worked up really easily, especially if he thinks he's made a mistake and starts beating himself up, or if he's especially overwhelmed

Sometimes he just seems especially anxious or grumpy, but you can usually tell he's getting small when he starts stumbling over his words really badly, going quiet, fidgeting a lot, gnawing on his thumb or getting clingy, etc

Sometimes tries to force himself to be big when he really needs to regress - he has to be reminded its okay to be small because he puts to much pressure on himself to keep things in order

(🥦) → Izuku: 3-5 regression range

(💥) → They stick to each other like glue when they’re regressed. It’s basically impossible to separate them from each other. They go and do everything together.

(🥦) → Since Izuku tends to slip younger, Bakugou has taken on the role of being his big brother and is always looking out for him. Bandaging his scars, help refilling sippys, finding the crayon he was missing, everything!

(💥) → When they first started regressing around each other it was a lot of parallel play. Izuku coloring while Bakugou played with his dinosaurs and hero figures. The first time they actually played together was when Izuku got board of doing whatever he was doing and asked Bakugou if he could play with his figures.

(🥦) → Izuku loves hugs, Bakugou isn’t all that physically affectionate. But when Izuku wants a hug he’ll let him, that’s his little brother after all. But, he is very bitey, which led to Izuku developing the same habit. Much to his CG’s dismay.

(💥) → They own so many matching onesies and outfits it’s crazy. The both of them wear their matching All Might onesies every sleepover. They’re both adorable nonetheless though.

(🥦) → Talking about sleepovers, they have one almost every 2 week. Though they wish they could have them more often. Most sleepovers consist of all might movies, video games, karaoke, playing pretend, and trying to pull an all nighter (which they always end up falling).

(💥) → Bakugou and once suggested going camping and Izuku agreed. Their CG’s helped them pack for the trip and drove them out. Bakugou insisted that they could put the tent up themselves. Only a few minutes later both CG’s heard Izuku’s crys from getting caught in the tarp.

❀ I think Tachihara is a pretty all over the place baby! I think at the beginning, like before he had his mission working undercover with the mafia, he’d have more energy! A happy bouncy excited baby! But after he grows close to the mafia I think he’d grow quieter, more closed off to them. He struggles being close to both groups, he feels like he’s betraying his family no matter where he is

❀ For the most part we’ll focus on before his undercover mafia mission! I think he’d regress to more of a toddler headspace, 3-5. Very energetic! He loves getting to play with his caregivers! Sometimes he’ll get sad and mopey, remembering his lost brother or how little his parents cared about him… Sad baby means clingy baby! He just needs hugs and soon enough he’ll be a giggling baby once again!

❀ Onto individual interactions! Teruko can act really immature sometimes, so she’s like babies best friend! Teruko is the one to go to when Tachihara wants to play! They definitely have a sibling type bond! Teruko can use her ability to turn Tachihara into a literal baby too! Very helpful! Stops the little one’s mind from worrying about why his body is so big even though he feels so small… Teruko to the rescue of course!

❀ Teruko will also use her ability on herself to make the baby laugh! She’ll do funny voices and change her age to match! It’s perfect for story time. But she’ll also use it to tease the other members! She’ll turn super old and mimic Fukuchi for example! (He’s always very heavily offended) Nicknames I think Teruko would use! “Tachi” “Little Guy” or just “Baby” Tachihara usually calls her “Sis” or “Sissy”!

❀ Tetchō is very much so a quiet caregiver! He very compliant, willing to give little Tachihara just about whatever he wants! Tetchō is very easy to convince of things. For example bedtime may be at 10 PM, however if Tachihara explains a super important reason he needs to stay up Tetchō will totally let him! And just saying he needs to watch a specific show for example is a plenty good reason! The other Hunting Dogs aren’t very pleased

❀ Tetchō is banned from snack duty. One time he put cheese in Tachihara’s applesauce… Poor little guy was disgusted. He didn’t want to be mean of course though! Luckily Jōno was watching and quickly solved the problem! Tetchō would use nicknames like “Little One” or “Baby” but for the most part he honestly just uses Tachihara’s name

❀ Jōno can be a strict caregiver! He always knows what Tachihara is up to! Even if the little one is being super duper sneaky he can’t even make it out of the room before Jōno is calling out “Back here, now” But it’s not like Jōno is being mean! He lets little Tachihara do things of course, Tachihara just needs to ask first. Otherwise the little guy will end up doing things he shouldn’t

❀ Jōno doesn’t really like watching cartoons or listening to music in the background, the noise just clogs up his senses that he’s trying to focus on the little one, and he can’t actually see the TV. I think he’d really like playing with cars or trains! Toys that run along the ground a lot. Makes it easy for him to keep up and focus more of his attention on the baby! Jōno would use pet names such as “Brat” (Said with love of course!) “Tachi” or “Pip-Squeak”! He teases a lot hehe

❀ Fukuchi is such a silly caregiver! He acts all noble and dignified… But he doesn’t really know what he’s doing. Age regression is a very foreign concept to him, but he’s more than happy to comply for little Tachihara! He’s told to treat Tachihara like a baby. He can do that! In his eyes Tachihara is literally a baby now. He’ll always carry Tachihara around, always cooing at him and doing everything the baby might need!

❀ Fukuchi would love to watch cartoons! He’s very fascinated by them and always laughs way more than he’s expecting to (Jōno calls it obnoxious, but no one seriously complains as long as little Tachihara is happy!) Fukuchi would use nicknames like “Buddy” “Little Guy” and “Son” (I don’t necessarily see them as a father son relationship? I just think Fukuchi calls everyone younger than him Son. Yes this includes Teruko, no she is not pleased)

❀ After he starts with the Mafia Tachihara grows more reliant on the Hunting Dogs! He can’t regress around the Mafia, can’t get close to them. But over time as he’s able to rely more on the Mafia he sorta drifts away from the Hunting Dogs. He relies on them less, they agree on less. No huge changes! Just a little gap that everyone seems to notice

I don’t know if this was a request or not but I’m taking this time to give you my regressor Donnie headcanons bc he’s ABSOLUTELY my favourite turtle and I need to talk abt him or I’ll explode (I have brought my ‘87 Donnie figure with me to Holland, he’s my emotional support turtle)

Regressor!Donatello Headcanons!!

👾I think Donnie would either slip for one of two reasons, Stress- from working so hard on all his inventions and tech or two Leo was bored and needed a playmate

👾In my head Donnie’s regression range is on the older end of the spectrum but if something goes particularly bad in an experiment or an invention he goes deep into regression

👾His usual regression range I’d say is maybe 6-8 making him more of a kid regressor but if something goes wrong and he’s deep into it I’d say 0-3.

👾Donnie doesn’t take very good care of himself while he’s big so he is absolutely not allowed to be left unattended while small, even if he’s at his oldest age

👾This frustrates the little tot. A lot.

👾But he’s easy to calm down, put him in front of the projector and stick Little Einsteins or Sid the Science Kid on and he’ll stop his whining

👾And I mean stop, that boy shuts up immediately. He could be in the middle of talking and if you turn those on he just stops and stares

👾On this topic science museums. (I could do a whole set of hc’s based off this) he loves them

👾He’s not allowed in his lab when regressed, that was a rule set by big Donnie out of pure fear that he’s gonna break something he worked very hard on

👾When Donnie first regressed he was scared. He got so scared, that he slipped further into his regression going from a solid 6-4 within seconds

👾He cried, then toddled into Leo’s room and cried more because he trusted his twin more than anyone else with this new strange feeling

👾After Donnie fully grasps what is going on he tells Raph and Mikey, Leo becomes his primary cg because he was the first to know and Leo is his twin, so if Donnie goes non verbal they can use their “twin telepathy”

👾Donnie swears the twin telepathy thing is fake but somehow Leo always knows what little Donnie needs

👾Donnie doesn’t bite very often (Little fun fact here, softhells are very possessive of their things and very often bite and don’t let go for awhile) but when he’s little, those chompers get put to use

👾Leo once took a crayon off Donnie once so he could colour in with his Hermano pequeño. Donnie bit. And Donnie bit hard

👾Leo didn’t bleed but he screamed, Raph came over and had to physically pry Donatello off his brother who was inspecting his new bite wound. It scarred over

👾After that they bought Donnie a paci- for Leo’s safety. It’s purple (obvie) but that’s it’s only distinguishing feature. Donnie doesn’t like the ones that are covered in gems and beads, they distract him too much

👾If both of that disaster twins have slipped it results in both Raph and Mikey taking care of them because, while Leo is a handful by himself and Donnie is relatively easy putting them together causes chaos

👾Donnie typically regresses to be the older twin in this situation so he’s easier to calm down and stop him being a little shit, then once he’s been told he’ll immediately tell Leo to stop

👾Don would be such a little cutie to take care of, an absolute angel for you as he politely awaits his praise and for you to tell him how good he’s behaving

5th Review - Ohsama Sentai Kingohger

I have watched 14 seasons of Power Rangers, and 18 seasons of Super Sentai, aaaaand…this is the best. Like, I don’t even know if anyone else even competes. It’s that good. Which is weird, right? This is the CG-heavy bug season, and yet it stands above all the others? It’s truly a marvel of Tokusatsu that they can take these bizarre, wacky concepts and forge something fantastic out of them. But we’re not here for my platitudes, we’re here for me to give my thoughts on a show.

The Good: Something I really like about the characters in general is they all embody a negative characteristic of leadership, but turn it on its head, allowing them to display both the the negatives aspects on occasion, but also how you can spin those impulses for the betterment of yourself and the people around you.

Gira is Power. It’s not uncommon for stories to portray a character as seeking power for the purposes of protecting others. In fact, it’s very common. But Gira portraying himself as the villain, acting as the tyrant, added a nice flavor to it that made it stand on its own. Gira does fill the role of the red chosen one in many ways, but because of the show’s focus on unity and teamwork, he always feels more like a perspective character, which I think is a positive. On top of that, he’s very kind, earnest, and the most down-to-earth of the kings, adding to that perspective character role. His kingdom of Shuggodom also had a lot of side characters, such as the orphans, his brother and attendants, and the angry yelling guy. “He’s louder! He’s the real one!” was such a great payoff to that character’s existence. Also, any Sentai character that can unironically say “I will hear you scream,” is pretty cool.

Yanma is Pride. He rarely backs down or bows to anyone else. And while this can sometimes get him in trouble, the people he stands up to are always more powerful than he is. It’s often more determination than anything, and that determination gets the team through many tough situations. As for characterization, Yamna is a genius, but also very childish and a bit petty. The pranks he pulls are always very silly. His aide, Shiokara, was also a nice foil; childish in nature, but serious in role. And it was nice how he and Gira really did end up being good friends by the end.

Ran is Selfishness. Unsurprisingly; she says it all the time. But while she occasionally displays true selfishness, it is often used as a mask for selflessness. She selfishly wants to help people, but is portrayed as selfishness, which is funny in many situations. She was a majoritively serious character, which made the moments she leaned into humor all the funnier. I also liked that she was part of two goes-nowhere romances with both Yanma and Rita. She’s the beautiful one, so it makes sense romance would be part of her themes, even if underplayed. And Sebastian was one of the sillier aides, with a ridiculous backstory to match that silly nature.

Kaguragi is Deceit. We all expect those in power to lie, and Kaguragi does frequently, constantly switching sides and misinforming his allies to get his way. But at the end of the day, everything he does is for the sake of his people. And because of the scope of his deception, he is privy to more information than the rest of the cast, being aware of both the teams’ and Racles’ plans. Speaking of Racles, his sister was also a surprisingly big player at times, getting more attention than his personal aide, even if not seen as often. And his aide, Kuroda, being a Kuroko, filled his role as more of a background character, though did have a distinct personality that worked with his faceless appearance.

Rita is Authority. Not only is she a king, but also the world’s judge, holding power over even the other kings, making her the absolute authority on Terra. But she never abuses her power; always seeking to be a neutral party in all goings-on. Also, this series got pretty sapphic at times, and Rita was always at the center of it. Good to know the writers are back at it again after all the mandates they suffered through with 40-42. And while there were some off-and-on moments with Ran, most of the time it was with Morphonia, who was, again, a nice foil, being much less motivated and more prone to her own desires. Though, of all the aides, she probably grows the most, eventually accepting her role as the next king of Gokkan, which she was less interested in accepting compared to everyone else.

Even our main villains follow these trends to some degree. Deathnarok shows the negative aspects of all these traits, but is later shown to be doing so begrudgingly, while Dugded also does, but in a very childish way. Which is almost worse than just being a normal bad king, because it’s weirdly more sincere?

And Jeramie is Eccentricity. He is aloof and wordy and doesn’t act like a good king would, playing a role more similar to one of a king content with his power, but his attitude and ability are separate things, as he is shown to have great battle prowess and leadership abilities. Jeramie has his own things going on with being half Bugnarok, so it was really just flair given to his character, and to add a bit of confusion to his introduction. And while Gerojim wasn’t as present a character as the other aides, he did provide a very distinct visual compared to everyone else, especially after all the Bugnarok were relegated to just the foot soldiers. I’ll also add, having Jeramie be the narrator, even before his introduction, really helped everything feel cohesive and intentional.

Speaking of that cohesion, that’s part of what makes the story so great. Every episode contributes to the ongoing story. Even those episodes that seem like filler have at least a small addition to it. Especially after the last few years, where episodic has been the priority, this drastic shift is very welcome. And there are tiny hints at the bigger picture even in the early episodes, like Racles missing all of Gira’s vitals for instance. I may go through the show a second time to see how many instances of foreshadowing I can find at a later date.

And while the finale was good, the penultimate episode was amazing, calling back to almost every character we met over the course of the entire show, including ones only seen in the movies and Racles’ mini-series. It was a great way to cap off this already good show.

And lastly,  I love the presentation of this season. So much of this season is filmed on green screen to both amazing and hilarious effect. It’s honestly very impressive some of the stuff they managed to accomplish. BoonBoomger seems a lot more grounded, so it’s unlikely this trend will be further polished in the next season, but they did very well in the time they had.

The Bad: While the effects and sets are a lot of fun, they aren’t always great. They sometimes have difficulty tracking walking or running while moving the camera. Some other effects, such as wide shots, or fire tend to not look good, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

Also, more than any season in recent memory, the action was occasionally hard to follow. All the effects, plus the CG backgrounds, plus the constantly more ridiculous and interesting camera angles Sentai likes to use add up to some very messy scenes on occasion.

I’m also a little sad we dropped the gear gimmicks. While I’m not upset to see them go, I was kinda hoping we’d continue with it until the 50th anniversary where we’d have a big payoff. It may have originally been in the cards, but I only say that because of the rustic machine nature of the Shugods and the general design work or Shuggodam. Remember, toy development takes a while, and while I don’t know the over-under on BanNam’s cycle, I know Hasbro has gone on record that if they rush a product they can get it done in 9 months. Kingohger was probably in the concepting phase during early Donbrothers at the latest, so it wouldn’t be surprising if a few small references to the idea were still there if it was the original intention. And out next season is a vehicle season, which is perfect for mechanics and gears.

Though I’d say the biggest issue is it’s just Super Sentai. For all my praise and bravado about it at the start, it’s not like Shin Godzilla, where I can show it to someone who normally wouldn’t be into Tokusatsu and have them walk away enjoying it; if you don’t like Sentai, this season isn’t going to convince you otherwise. For example, I tried showing it to @jaybuilds, and he just wasn’t into it. It’s fine, it happens, but don’t expect that one person you’ve always been trying to convince to watch the show to see it and have it convert them, is all.

The BoonBoomening: I actually haven’t seen anything for BoonBoomger yet. Just the costumes and toy listings. And as someone who focuses on the toys, I’ve seen quite a few gripes that BoonBoom Robo isn’t articulated. But, like, it’s a heavily gimmicky toy, so I get it. If you’re not going to do a gimmick, articulation is fine, but I can understand getting rid of some articulation for a fun play pattern. These are for kids, remember?

Overall, this was a great season. While I enjoy most seasons of Super Sentai, this one in particular had everything I tend to love and want out of a season. Makes me slightly less upset at myself for buying every Megazord associated with this season. Slightly.

As for my usual Megazord recommendations, this is a real all of nothing series. Either go for King-Ohger alone, or everyone for God King-Ohger. You only really need one of each, so you can skip all the premium versions, unless the colors do it for you. And the new Kyoryujin and the upcoming remolds are their own beast to consider separately to the rest of the line.

Hiii can I ask what ur Hermitcraft headcannons areee

This ended up wayyyy longer than anticipated so here we go

This is a pretty open request so I’m just gonna list random headcanons. I’m also assuming you meant agere so thats what I’m going to do here.

Who I headcanon as a regressor kinda changes depending on what I’m writing, for example in my short fic Hanging Stars, Zed doesn’t know Tango regresses until s9, but I typically imagine they both regress and have known for a while.

I think Tango regresses from 3-5 normally, and at that age is quite active and excitable, he can’t sit still and prefers to run around rather than sit. The one exception is watching cartoons, he will be glued to the screen and can easily watch for hours, so he needs someone around to keep him from wasting the whole day staring at a screen. Occasionally though he will regress younger, more like 1-2, typically when he is tired. in that case he is more nervous and would rather sleep cuddled up with his caregivers than go on adventures.

As I covered in a different post (Here) Zed is a baby regressor, I already talked about it in that post.

In the context where most of the server is open about their regression I think Grian always builds a huge room in his base as a play room for the littles! It has tons of toys, a cozy blanket nest for naps, and a little kitchen always stocked with easy snacks!

In s7 Joe’s dog catcher business actually involved him putting a bunch of dog stuffies around the shopping district, after all of that he gave one to every hermit, little or not.

Grian has the biggest collection of stuffed animals ever seen. Most are birds, but he has many others including a toy sheriff from empires, a cod, several cats including a Jellie from Scar, a stuffed corgi from Joe, and a llama (Scar has a matching one) 

Keralis is a flip I haven’t really thought about how he’d be when little, he is the best babysitter when hes big

He would always use cute nicknames with whoever hes caring for eg: baby, little one, some cute play on their name

Always making sure that his little is safe, constantly telling them to be careful so they don’t get hurt

Loves making his littles laugh, he makes lots of silly jokes, his favorite being to pretend he doesn’t know something suuuper obvious, so the little can tell him the answer while giggling at how silly he is

Grian loves trains when hes little, he has a play mat with super detailed roads and houses on it that he likes to play trains on.

Pearl’s favorite thing to do when little is play pretend, she isn’t super used to having a cg I think so she probably prefers to go on adventures and get into trouble with her stuffed animals! 

I think Impulse is a cg for both Team ZITS and the Soup Group, Zed and Tango care for each other if they aren’t little themselves, as do Gem and Pearl

When Tango and Zed are both little Tango loves to be Zed’s big brother, but he’s frequently too loud for Zed and accidentally scares him, so Impulse always has to keep a close eye on him.

I think Joe and Etho both regress but its not super obvious when they do, as they are both older regressors (Joe 8-9, Etho 12-13). The main signs that Joe is little is that he doesn’t use as complex of vocabulary, and he is more energetic. Etho spends most of his time alone when he’s regressed, typically either drawing or watching anime and reading manga or comics.

Title: Domino Effect

Little: Bob, Rooster, Phoenix, Hangman, Payback, Fanboy, Coyote

Cg! Maverick, Iceman, Penny, Slider

Warnings: involuntary regression, obligatory military warnings

Plot: Bob regresses during a meeting and sets off a domino effect, leaving Mav, Ice, slider, and Penny to watch 7 little ones

"Bob! Jesus christ, talk to me!" Phoenix screeches as the plane rolls to the side, Mavericks plane barely missing them as it zips past.

"Sorry! He's already coming around 'Nix, you gotta go up" Bob replies, snapping out of the daze he was in and trying so hard to focus on the enemy plane that he doesn't realise he used his nickname for Phoenix.

Phoenix just frowns softly and files that bit of information away for later, focusing on pulling the plane up and into the sky in an effort to escape Maverick.

It doesn't work of course, and Maverick ends up shooting them down only 2 minutes later.

"Copy kill" Phoenix sighs, pulling the plane down to land.

They land the plane quickly and the next team goes up. Bob starts to walk back to the lecture room but Phoenix places a hand on his shoulder, gently stopping him.

"Bobby... what's going on?" She asks softly, her eyes full of concern for her WSO

"I'm fine Phoenix. I'm just a bit spacey today that's all" He reassures her. He shrugs off her hand and starts walking towards the lecture room.

She frowns but follows him silently. She can't force him to admit what's wrong, so she settles for staying close to him so she can catch him when he does inevitably end up slipping.

The pair walk into the lecture room. Bob sits down and pulls out his lunch box, nibbling on a sandwich he packed. Phoenix walks over to Rooster, gently pulling him over to a corner where no one can hear them.

"Roo. I'm worried about Bob. He's on the verge of slipping and to be honest, so am I. I don't know what to do."

"Oh. Uhhh... how close is he to slipping? How close are you to slipping?" Rooster stammers.

"I don't know. He's spacey and he called me 'Nix and he just seems out of it" Phoenix sighs, her eyes darting over to Bob, whos still sitting in his seat and eating a sandwich while staring at the wall.

"OK, well Maverick only had 2 more flights left. One with Hangman and the other with Coyote. We can watch him until Mav gets back." Roosters says, injecting some confidence into his words.

Together the two walk up to the boy. "Bob? It's Roo, you ok?" Rooster asks softly, squatting down to his level.

Bob's eyes move from the wall to Rooster slowly and he gives Rooster an absent smile. "Hi Roo," he says in that certain soft voice.

"Hi Buddy. Are you feeling small?" Phoenix asks Bob, smiling at him gently. Bob pauses for a moment, his brows furrowing as he thinks but he nods, his cheeks turning a soft pink.

"Awe it's alright Bubba. Big brother Roo's got ya" Rooster coos. He sits down next to Bob and pulls out his own lunch. The two eat together while Rooster talks and asks Bob yes or no questions that he can nod or shake his head to.

Phoenix wanders off, finding herself sitting next to Payback and Fanboy as they heatedly debate some topic that's far too big for her to comprehend at that moment.

She must have spaced out because next thing she knows, there's a soft tap on her arm to get her attention.

She turns around, eyes focusing from where she had been just staring at the wall. She has to hold back a groan though when she sees Bob standing next to her, holding Roosters hand while Rooster is looking down at the floor, tears in his eyes.

"Hi 'Nix. Roo slipped and he's littler then me." Bob says, his eyes wide as he gazes up at Phoenix.

Phoenix opens her mouth to say something but to her surprise (and everyone else's), a loud sob bursts out of her mouth.

As soon as she's started, she can't stop. She sinks off the bar stool and onto the floor, sobbing into her hands as her hold on her headspace breaks and all of a sudden she's just a little kid expected to watch two other babies.

The whole bar just watches in shock for a moment, and it's Coyote moving that snaps everyone out of their daze.

Coyote immediately moves to her side and crouches down next to her in an effort to both comfort her and shield her from the rest of the bargoers. In the same movement, Fanboy and Payback launch forward and gather up Rooster and Bob, herding the two littles into the booth that they had grabbed in the hopes of keeping them from crying too. Penny busies herself with ringing the bell to grab everyone's attention.

"Anyone that isn't a part of the current Top Gun class needs to get out of my bar right now" She shouts, ushering everyone out in a matter of minutes.

That's the sight that Maverick and Hangman walk into. A rapidly slipping Coyote trying to comfort a distraught Phoenix who is sobbing on the floor, Fanboy doing his best to entertain a regressed Rooster (who is pouting and trying to eat floor chips), Payback (who is playing with Bob's glasses) and Bob (whos fast asleep on the table) and Penny trying to get everyone else out of the bar.

The pair just kinda stand in the entryway for a second, then Hangman scurries away from Maverick's side and joins the littles in the booth, also having slipped the second he walked into the bar.

Maverick lets out a long-suffering sigh, then whistles to get everyone's attention. The entire bar instantly goes silent as everyone freezes and looks up at him.

"Who here can honestly say that they are fully big right now?" He asks, his head sweeping the group of 8. Penny hesitantly raises her hand and everyone else stares at the floor.

"Seriously? 7 flips and every single one of you slipped?" Maverick groans, already pulling his phone out to call for backup. He speaks quietly into the phone before quickly hanging up.

"Alright, us adults are outnumbered so headcount Kiddos" Mav says not unkindly. The 7 littles immediately number off with Rooster being number 1 and Phoenix being number 7.

"Cool, we've got everyone here. Ok, how little are we talking?" Maverick asks, moving to join Penny while his mind is racing and planning.

Fanboy is the first to speak up after a few moments of unsure silence. "I'm around 10". Phoenix is next, Coyote having carried her over to the booth after she'd calmed down a little. "I'm 5!" she giggles. "I'm 2" Payback whispers, hiding his face in her neck. Bob pipes up with "I'm 4ish?" Coyote hesitates a second, not wanting to butt out before muttering, "I'm 8". Hangman immediately hi-fives him, saying, "Same bro". Rooster doesn't say anything, just staring around with wide eyes, clearly far too little for words at the moment.

Maverick sighs for what feels like the millionth time, turning to Penny when he realises almost everyone is on the lower edge of their age ranges. "Can you make up 4 bottles for me?" He asks her quietly. When she nods, he turns back to the pack of littles slotted into the booth. "Fanboy, Coyote and Hangman, you feel up for some fries and water?"

The three oldest kids nod, chambering out of the booth and jostling to the counter where Penny has already put a basket of chips and 3 (plastic) glasses of water.

Penny and Mav walk over to the booth with 2 bottles each and a calm settles over the group as everyone eats and the older kids and caregivers chatter quietly.

After 5 minutes, Ice and Slider walk in. Slider walks right in and takes a seat next to the 3 unattended boys, stealing a chip and chattering quietly to them.

Ice walks quietly over to Maverick and Penny, taking note of the fact that Bob is fast asleep against Penny and Rooster is asleep in Mavericks arms. "What happened?" Ice asks, amusement clear in his face.

"Bob regressed and set off a domino effect. Unfortunately, they all regressed and they all regressed to the younger end of their age ranges." Maverick sighs, careful to keep his voice low and not wake the baby in his arms.

"Can you help us get the kids back to our house? We can have a sleepover sort of situation. Penny already agreed to help watch them and I think you'd have to fight slider to get him to miss you" He adds.

Ice agrees and takes Phoenix and Packback in his arms, the 2 toddlers blinking slowly and sucking on their thumbs as they fight sleep. He places the 2 in his car and drives them to his and Mavericks house. Penny takes Bob because he's already asleep on her. He wakes up in the car but falls asleep again quickly. Maverick takes Rooster and Fanboy (he tried to take Coyote but he threw a fit at being separated from Hangman). Slider takes Hangman and Coyote, the two aging up slightly on the ride to around 12.

The 4 adults load the 7 kids out together and herd them into the house.

Hangman, Coyote, and Fanboy all start building a pillowfort for the sleep over immediately with Iceman supervising them. Bob and Rooster are laid down for a nap by Slider. Maverick and Penny make dinner with some help from Payback and Phoenix.

Within a half hour, everyone is fed and bundled up in the living room. Ice puts on Tangled and by the end of the movie, everyone is asleep in a tangle of limbs and blankets.

It might be the most chaotic babysitting he's ever had to do but looking down at his best friends, husband and adopted kids, comfortably asleep in his loving room, Maverick can't imagine a better way to spend a Saturday night

👑 ; baby spoiler without knowing it. Want cookies? He will get you them. Want to stay up later than normal? He will let you. Want a stuffie from the store? He will get it for you. Just do the baby eyes and you get what you want. Sometimes just a "please" will win him over

-Little age is 3-5. She sometimes regresses older to maybe 6-8 as well!

-Her main caregiver is Enid (I headcanon Enid as a flip, because I definitely think she would regress too!) but sometimes Xavier and Eugene will act as a caregiver for her too!

-Also Ajax! If he’s ever hanging out with Enid he will definitely act like a cool older brother type of caregiver if Wednesday is regressed around them

-It’s difficult to tell when she’s regressed because she doesn’t act much different from when she’s big.

-The biggest tell that she’s regressing is that she gets SUPER sleepy!

-When she starts yawning and rubbing her eyes, Enid immediately knows that Wednesday is starting to regress

-Wednesday normally naps a lot when she’s little

-She chews on her sleeves instead of sucking on her thumb.

-Enid was super excited to find out that Wednesday is a regressor because Enid always wanted to try out being a caregiver

-That’s how Enid figured out that she was a flip!

-Enid makes Wednesday a deco paci that’s covered in black jewels and says “Spooky” on it. It even has a bell attached to it!

-Wednesday has many nicknames, but some of the more popular ones are “Little bat,” “Baby spider,” and “Spooks”

-Wednesday whispers very quietly when regressed

-Normally, she doesn’t like physical affection, but when she’s regressed and trusts someone a lot, (like Enid) she will allow cuddles

-But only for a little bit! She gets squirmy after awhile

-She has an agere journal!

-She mainly writes in it (lists, about her day, facts, feelings, etc.) but sometimes she doodles if she’s in the mood

-When regressed, she allows herself a teensy tiny bit more feelings than usual

-She still never cries, but she gets a little mischievous and playful, wanting to play tricks and pranks on her friends

-Enid, absolutely loves being her caregiver!

-She’s the type of caregiver to ask a lot of questions

-“How many are there? Do you want this or that? Do you want to stay inside or outside?” Stuff like that. Enid likes to give Wednesday options!

-She definitely prints out worksheets too! They do them together if they’re both regressed

-Xavier has zero idea what’s he’s doing as a caregiver, but they draw together sometimes and he brings her drawings to life

-Eugene will talk about his bees and give her random facts about them. She listens intently, even if she’s heard them a million times

-Ajax plays fun games with her on the rarer occasions when she’s in a mischievous mood.

-He gives her piggy back rides, chases her around, and they play this game where she tries to snatch his beanie away. Luckily, she’s too short to reach!

-Enid likes to brush and braid Wednesday’s hair

-She will tie black ribbons on the ends of her braids to give them a more childish look

-Enid plays with her hair too whenever Wednesday will let her

-Wednesday likes curling up under lots of blankets

-She mostly regresses in the evening or before bed

-Likes star gazing

-Will walk outside in the dark with Enid and friends to “play”

-She pretty much just collects sticks, rocks, leaves, and various types of bugs

-She records them in her journal

-Almost completely nonverbal

-She will say one word to explain what she means or needs

-“Look,” “Mine,” “Want,” Etc.

-Enid gifts her a few plushies that are more up Wednesday’s alley, like a black cat and bat. She got her a wolf plush too.

-Wednesday keeps them hidden under her blankets and pillows until just before bed

-She brings them out to cuddle with as she’s dosing off

-Likes to watch Tim Burton movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride when regressed. They’re still “scary” enough to keep her entertained

-Enid will play simpler games like peekaboo with her, which manages to get a tiny little smile from Wednesday from time to time

-Also, I headcanon that Wednesday’s family knows about her regression and are extremely supportive, but she barely brings it up around them. They respect her privacy

-But sometimes she will receive a gift sent by them that’s related to her regression, like “Baby’s book of ghost stories,” or a rattle that looks like it’s made out of bones

-They don’t ever mention it to each other, but there’s a mutual understanding between them, and Wednesday secretly appreciates it

anyway mobs and ritsu are baby brothers i have to say it

(also sorry its been a bit, ive been very unmotivated)

-mobs and ritsu are definitely two low energy littles for different reasons;

mob is just a little whos just naturally quiet and low energy. when hes little, its quite hard to tell because of how similar he acts when hes big to when hes little. but! the boy has tells! definitely when hes little he will subconsciously start floating things around.

ritsu. oh boy ritsu. when this boy is little hes DONE. his regression time is his resting time. regressing is his one, ONE, healthy coping mechanism let him have it dammnit!!!

-i cant tell what ages the two of them would regress too, but definitely young. mob would probably still have that “big brother energy” though. ritsu would still carry that deep protectiveness over his brother too, even if hes to young to do more than cling to mob and make baby noises.

-REIGEN AND DIMPLE ARE THEIR CGS LET ME COOK!!!!

reigen takes up the job with the idea that, hes known the boys since they were 11 and 10 alike. so this cant he THAT hard.. what he didnt think about, was two unstable espers that are, when regressed, more prone to stronger emotions, which leads to a lot of broken mugs and vases in the office much to his dismay. but aside from that, reigens actually a pretty good caregiver. after the first time mob actually regressed in front of reigen, he made sure that his little emotional unstable child had everything he needed when he was in baby mode. (honestly you can probably give mob a pacifier and figet toy and he’d be content. very easy baby to please)

like usopp, i feel like reigen would be actually decent at story telling and during the times both ritsu and mob are regressed at the office, reigen could be .. persuaded to tell them one.. or two.. ah maybe three if their not busy..

^ritsu still TOTALLY has it out for reigen when hes little. youve never seen a kid with a more dangerous death stare ESPECIALLY to their caregiver. reigen.. reigens had to grab and hold up both the boys by the back of their shirts like kittens more than once.. uhh.. for why you can make that up.

when it comes to dimple, he takes care of them if reigens not around, like if one or both of them are little at home, thats when its dimples job. (both the boys are flips too and will take care of the other if their little.) like reigen, hes not that bad at it, but i feel like hes way more worried about their safety considering he cant directly stop them since hes a spirit.

~Ritsu would be the type of kiddo who’s caregiver tells him no “because I said so.” And he will now make it his sole mission to do whatever it is he was told not to do. But only with Reigen. Dimple tells him no and he’s a bit more cooperative.

Regressor Bi-Han Hcs

❄️ Regresses to about 2-3, sometimes older though

❄️ Involuntarily regressed for the longest time and it terrified him, started regressing when he was about 13

❄️ Did not do CGs for the longest time

❄️ It wasn't until Kuai Liang and Tomas began regressing with or around him that he even thought about

❄️ And even then, you gotta be really, really close to him

❄️ Grew up with a constant fear in mind that someone will walk in, some one will catch him, someone will hurt him while he's vulnerable

❄️ Personal Headcanon that'll effect the rest of my requests: I don't think Bi-Han is a horrible brother. Not a good one, he definitely doesn't like Tomas. But Tomas will glare back at him and mouths him back, things people don't do to abusers.

❄️ ^ I think in the scene where we saw them fight that Bi-Han took it a bit too hard, because yes, Tomas did look genuinely hurt. But I've said things that hurt my own brother before and didn't apologize until later.

❄️ ^ Unfortunately they with both children forced into a terrible situation with no say of their own

❄️ Tomas was the first one who found him regressed and it was one of the few times Tomas had ever seen Bi-Han cry

❄️ They were angry tears, and he didn't speak to Tomas for days later, but eventually Tomas sat them both down and they ‘spoke’ (Bi-Han didn't say much, but Tomas found some fruit on his bedside table the next day with a note that only said Bi-Han's name)

* It didnt take long for Keito to trust him, though, as they were already pretty close friends from the start. Baby Keito was more open with Nazuna about when he wants to eat, nap ect. but he still has a hard time admitting hes regressed at all ( ・∇・)

* Nazuna tries his best to be patient with Keito, and a lot of his solutions he turns into a game! Cleaning up toys is somehow so fun he becomes a giggling mess by the end (￣^￣)ゞ

* Their favorite activity is storytime! Nazuna will read to him as he falls asleep, holding him snug in his arms the whole time (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Okay, I don't know if I'm alone with it, but I can't stop thinking about Saltburn characters as age regressors & CGs, especially Felix..

I'm sorry, but this man boy had a broken bike, and instead of just.. pushing it to the destination that wasn't too far, (especially not with this long legs!!?!) all he did was sulk and sigh in the hopes somebody would take pity? He definitely belongs in the baby pile!!

Same with Annabel.. You can't tell me she doesn't use regression to cope with her messed up family life, and the fact that she had to survive in the shadow of her golden child brother..

Anyways, here are Saltburn AgeRe head canons:

Felix mainly regresses for fun and to give his true emotions an outlet.

His regression also helps to heal his inner child from the emotional neglect he had to experience throughout his childhood, but he hasn't quite figured that out yet.

He keeps it "secret" from his parents, cuz they wouldn't understand..

Elsbeth knows technically, but she thinks it's a k1nk thing & she doesn't care.

James also knows.. He doesn't understand it, but he places some baby stuff in Felix's room as a surprise every once in a while.. Felix doesn't know they're from his dad.

Duncan has become some sort of primary caregiver for Felix.

He takes credit for the gifts, because he really enjoys the happy dances, thank you hugs and pictures he gets from little Felix. Ducan thinks "if the gift giver didn't put their name on it, they probably didn't want Felix to know anyways, so there's no harm in taking the credit."

He really enjoys how loving, cuddly and vulnerable little Felix can get.

Duncan feels like he can finally raise a child of his own. (He never had time for even a relationship, bc of his job.)

Felix is still a little brat when tiny, he was raised to be one, so it's hard to shake off.

He throws fits, cries, yells or even throws physical things, when something is not going his way.

Annabel knows about his regression and is not sure how to bring up that she also is part of the baby pile.

She found it helps her cope with her mental health issues, she mainly regresses involuntarily, after bad episodes.

Felix ends up finding out and they have playdates sometimes, but they often end up fighting.

Big Felix also judges/ makes fun of her for "not being able to control her regression". He doesn't understand the concept of involuntary regressing.

He has a really hard time realizing that not everyone is exactly like him, that's just a result of being the golden child.

Annabel is often sad/ upset when tiny.

She also gets jealous when she sees how loving Duncan is to Felix.

But she also really wants Felix to like and play with her, she's desperate for his approval and a sibling connection.

At one point James finds his daughter crying, that's nothing unusual, but this time he could tell it was different.. she seemt so incredibly small and fragile.

He becomes her primary cg after that night, and their relationship immensely improves.

Felix gets upset because he doesn't get as many gifts anymore though and gives Deacon he'll for it, still thinking they where from him lol

He's happy to see Annabel and James creating such a loving relationship, but he'd never say that out loud.. he's a little jealous at the same time aswell tho.

Farleigh also finds out about their regression, but is not sure what to make of it.

He kind of wants to take care of the little ones sometimes, and that scares him.

Little Felix giggles a lot, he likes running around and playing outside & in the water.

He's also an absolute cuddle bug, but only with Ducan. He follows him around like a lost puppy and constantly seeks physical touch. (Grabbing his hand/ arm, hugging him, etc.)

Felix also really enjoys showing off his skills, to get praise from his cg.

Ducan has a whole chest full of pictures, crafts and learning pages little Felix did.

Annabel is more of the quiet type, she likes coloring and just snuggling with her Papa or a plushie.

James really values this second chance at being a good dad to his daughter, he felt a lot of remorse for always prioritizing Felix.

Annabel and Felix's relationship also ends up improving.

The fighting will probably never fully stop, that's just sibling things.

Farleigh also finds himself filling a "big sibling" role over time and he likes being the one in charge every once in a while.

He's is stricter than Ducan and James, but he's not unfair.

With Farleigh he kiddos have set bedtimes, a limit to how many sugary stuff they're allowed to consume and get scolded for fighting/ causing trouble.

The most dreaded punishment of Felix is sitting on the stairs for 5 to 10 minutes, kid hates being bored.

Unfortunately he often has to sit on the stairs, he's quite the trouble maker.

Annabel hates getting her plushie taken away, the plushie is still in the same room, but up on a shelf, she just can't cuddle it for 5 to 10 minutes.

Luckily she very rarely has to be punished, she's a very well behaved kid!

All in all, regression brings most of the family closer together! <3

That's all I can think of right now, I might add more later.

I left out Oliver on purpose, cuz he's a creepy little freak and we don't stand him in this household hehe
