Hello all!! Yes, I know that everyone is playing with infants right now and probably doesn't want to see anything else, but I still want to share what I created with you. In the poll I recently made on Patreon, the artist's room concept came first and I can say this set has become as complicated as an artist's mind 𖦹 In order to share this month, I had to cancel some of the big items, make more clutter and use some ea meshes. Now this is done, I'm going to update all my mods/cc so I can play the game and eventually do small cc requests. I haven't even played with infants yet :S I want to make cc for them and the babies so badly, maybe this can be the next concept. Since I was recently tagged on making CC in milkshape, I figured I'd copy and paste what I know from my other blog, rather than just forwarding the page here for ease of viewing. It’s the FAQ page for creating CC under the read more.
What do you use to make mods?
S3PE is used to export snippets of the code to edit to make tuning mods. If you wanna make some yourself, HERE is the tutorial to learn how.
What do you use to make objects/clothing/hair?
This one has a few answers depending on what you mean specifically.
TSRW mainly for cloning and editing objects. It also lets me export the files in simpack and package formats.
If you want the version of TSRW BEFORE the sims 4 versions, you can get that HERE. This is important to note because some other programs used for CC creation aren’t fully compatible with the newer version of the TSRW’s WSO files.
If it’s an object that needs a fourth channel added, but it isn’t supported, Texture tweaker by Ignes Jones is what gives the object that channel to work with.
For meshing I use milkshape, and I’m currently working on learning how to use blender instead, since it’s freeware and has a lot more that can be done with it. However, it seems like the plugins from TSRW no longer work with blender, but there are plugins to have blender import geoms HERE that are best used with blender version 2.8-2.9.
There are some additional plugins for Milkshape that makes working in it much easier. There is an align normals plugin set by Demon 432 HERE, and the Unimesh plugins by Wes Howe found HERE. Lastly, to make UV editing easier in Milkshape there’s the CatofEvilGenius UV plugin HERE. They also have a UV flipper too.
For editing textures I personally use Photoshop and here’s how to add DDS usage to it with a link already there in it to download the necessary files. If you use Gimp instead, you can get the DDS files for it HERE. Installation should be similar to PS’s, just look for the file formats.
HERE is a link to the faces and scalps for when I need to model hair or jewelry, since doing it right on the head is much easier. Teens and elders aren’t in here because they aren’t that much different from the adult head.
Is that everything you use?
No there’s also:
Delphy’s Dashboard – Used to make sure my package files aren’t corrupt and won’t make sims implode. It’s also good for checking if anything you already have may be corrupted (a lot of it out there sadly is through no fault of the creator. It just happens during creation sometimes)
S3OC – Another program that lets you clone files, save unlike TSRW it can clone interaction objects, like toothbrushes, game controllers, bowls, plates, and other things that only appear for certain situations. The downside is everything mostly appears in strings with few images, but most of the names make sense for the items. Just sort by name and get to scrollin.
Compressorizer – This compresses simpack and package files in order to help keep the game running smooth. Due to some of its functions, remember to back up your CC and games before using the program.
MeshToolKit – This one is indispensable for creating custom content if you’re adjusting meshes just a bit, or using it to give completely new weight assignments (what makes it move and work like a sim body part) and morphs (the thin to thick range, pregnancies included). Thornowl also made an updated version that can be downloaded HERE.
Normal/Bump map plugins – They’re necessary for any CC you make, as most art programs don’t natively have the ability to make them. Now there are a couple different sets you can download and use depending on your art program of choice.

The ones for Photoshop can be gotten HERE, and this is a mediafire link because I personally had difficulty using NVIDIA’s newer exporter

Rival Stars Horse Racing
Rival Stars has two versions. Desktop via Steam and Mobile. While the gameplay itself (e.i racing, breeding, etc) are identical there are massive differences in how it functions. Mobile has micro transactions and limits on how much you can do a day without paying money. The desktop version has no micro transactions and no limits on how much you can do at any given time. Desktop, however, does not get updated as often as Mobile. I could go on and on listing various pros and cons between the two versions, but ultimately I personally prefer Desktop due to the lack of micro transactions or wait times and in addition Desktop has the ability to make custom horses, which is quite fun. It's worth checking out the mobile version first, however, so you can see if the game appeals to you as the Mobile version is free to play.
Astride
Astride is in "early access" on Steam, though that can be misleading. What is currently available is little more than a tech demo. You can create a horse and ride around an area on it, utilizing Astride's unique jumping system, and you can given play with friends. However, it is extremely glitchy, the lighting looks awful right now, and overall it just... isn't good. That said, it is still in progress and I personally have hopes that it will become a full fledged game as promised someday. That day is not today and so I personally recommend not purchasing it until it has gotten a few good updates, unless you just really want to financially support the developers.
Horse Isle 3
Oh boy. I'll just point you towards this article about some of the issues with the community management of HI3. Be warned if you intend to play, moderators are inconsistent about the rules they enforce and you can very easily get banned for saying harmless things. Personally, I stay out of the chat and I'm careful with what I name my horses. Horse Isle 3 is a one of a kind game, sadly, that allows for extremely detailed breeding. Realistic genetics combined with the ability to breed for all sorts of shapes makes it a very compelling game, which is why so many people continue to play it despite... the issues. It is free to play, though there are paid aspects to it. However, you can earn the premium currency within the game and utilize paid features without ever paying your own money.
Minecraft
Minecraft can be a fun horse game using mods or server plugins! The mod SWEM adds a lot of content that makes for good realistic horse roleplay, though doesn't fit well in survival style gameplay. The mod Realistic Horse Genetics actually doesn't change much of the horse functionality, making it a really good fit for survival gameplay, but adds lots of realistic genetics and a better system for inheriting stats than vanilla minecraft. The mod Genetic Animals will be adding horses soon.
Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online, and RedM
While it is not intended to be a horse game, RDR2 has horses that feel so very real. They are well animated so they feel alive and they respond to their environment in realistic ways. Many people purchase the game purely because of the horses. There are mods you can use to improve the horses in Single Player, though I've never used any so I can't offer suggestions. Personally, I really like Red Dead Online for the horses because the horses can't die and there are a few more breed options. You also can look into joining a RedM server. There is one called Rift that is specifically meant for horse enthusiasts.
Roblox
I know nothing about Roblox personally, but I know there are several worlds (games? I don't know what they're called) in Roblox that revolve around horses.

MissBee's Child Aspirations Set updated
This is an update of this Child Aspiration by MissBee, who seems to have left modding. I tried to reach out to her on ModTheSims, and I made a post here and on patreon seeking her out, and got no response. It's been over a month, so I'm going to go ahead and release this, but if MissBee comes back at any point and either updates her mods or asks me to remove this, I'll take it down, with no hesitation.
From the original description:
This set contains 4 different aspirations for your child sims: Perfect Angel, Little Einstien, Delinquent, and Child Star. Each aspiration seeks to utilize interactions added by various packs to give you new goals to accomplish with your sims. Fulfilling these aspirations will provide your sim with a custom reward trait that will boost their skill and career gains, among other benefits.

This has always been one of my favourite aspiration sets for kids, who have a very limited selection of in-game aspirations. I love having one sibling a Perfect Angel or Little Einstein and another a Delinquent. They broke, as all child aspirations did, with patch 1.108, and as soon as I had a child in game, I missed them so much.
More details and the download under the cut, mostly so that if MissBee does come back, this post won't be floating around with an old download attached.
They're now updated for recent patches, and the strings have been updated to match the last update made to the mod by MissBee. Some of the requirements were changed, but the strings were not updated to match, and now they do.
In addition to that, my friend who tested for me (thank you so much, meg) found that there were missing tootips in the aspiration, so those have been added. I've been using the aspirations so long that I couldn't say if they were there and got removed at some point or if they were never there and I just didn't notice, but now they're there.
As a result of those changes, old translations WILL NOT WORK. Everything will be in English. See the bottom for any updated translations I know of.
I am not including a merged version.
It's not advised to cheat objectives, it can cause a delay in the thing you cheated marking completed. This is true for many aspirations, but it came up in testing, so I thought I'd mention it. It can happen without cheating too.
There is a slight delay in becoming best friends with a parent/caregiver registering. It WILL register, it just takes a few seconds.

So you want to make a recolor...
I made a quick recolor tutorial for a friend group so I thought I'd go ahead and share here too. This is just a super quick guide for how to recolor an object/cas item.
There are two types of recolors. Standalone and Overrides. Overrides will replace the item/swatches that exist in the game. Standalone recolors create an additional item with it's own swatches. This tutorial works for both kinds, you just pick which one in Step 1, and then the rest is basically the same.
This tutorial also works for pretty much all buy mode items and CAS items. Anything that is tileable...I think maybe that's what you could call it...anything that can be stretched across multiple tiles, for instance, wallpapers, flooring, roofing, fencing...these types of items require a few more steps that I will not be covering here.
Ok so you want to recolor something, you need Sims 4 Studio (S4S) and a photo editing program like photoshop (there are plenty of free alternatives out there too, like Gimp is one I know a lot of people use).
Step 1! Open up S4S and pick either "Standalone" or "Override" depending on what your end goal is. Generally, you'll probably do standalone. I usually reserve overrides for permanent world items I want to change, like changing the images on the billboards in San Myshuno, for instance.
For this, I'm going to make a standalone recolor of an object so you would make sure Standalone Recolor is selected and then click "Object."
Step 2. Find the thing you want to recolor. Across the top there's filters so you can narrow it down by pack or search keywords to help find what you're looking for. Pick your item and click "next" at the bottom. A save window is going to pop up, save your file and make sure to name it something useful that's actually identifying so you can easily find it and remove it/update it/etc in the future. If you just hover your mouse over an item, it will give you the game's name for that item.
Congrats, you've created a Sims 4 package.
Step 3. (Optional) If you want to make changes to the in game display name, description, price, or style tags...you can do that on this first screen and then just hit "Apply To All Swatches." You do not have to make changes here if you don't want to though.
Step 4. This is where the fun begins. Click on the "Texture" tab. This is where you're going to get the file that you actually need to recolor. If there's a plain white swatch, I would pick that one, otherwise, I would go with whatever the lightest and most blank swatch is to make it easier on you to recolor. You just click one of the numbered swatch boxes at the top and then in the lower section make sure you have "Texture" highlighted, in this case it is my only option, and then click "Export." Another save window will pop up, just save that texture file somewhere easy to find, it'll only be there temporarily. (Or, if you want to be really smart and you plan on recoloring many things, you should make a project folder for each thing and save your texture files and things in there so you can always come back to them later.)
Step 5. So the exact tools and steps and such will kinda vary here based on what you want to accomplish and what program you use but, the broader overall process is the same. Open your texture file in an image editing software, change the colors/patterns/etc how you want, and then save that texture file. For instance, on this one I'm just going to change that pink section to a different color by just selecting the pink area with a marquee/quick selection tool and then using the Hue/Saturation tool to change the color.
Another example, this is something James Turner did in a recent video that someone asked about, you could choose some in game frames with images, put your own screenshots onto that image, and then boom you have your screenshots in game as framed photos. You would simply add your screenshot on top of the framed image as a second layer, line it up nice and neat, and you're good to go. Here's an example of what that would look like:
That's also basically how you could quickly add patterns to something. Lay your pattern image over top of the texture, change your layer style to something like "Multiply" or "overlay" depending on the look you're going for. Either way you do these, just remember to save your final product as a .png file.
Step 6. Back to S4S! Same place you were before, except now you need to click "Import" down in that lower texture section, select your texture file you just made. While you're on this screen, you should also update the colors in the "Swatch Thumbnail" section to match your new recolor, and you can also "remove swatch" to get rid of any additional swatches you don't need. Once you're done with all of this, hit save, and then go throw that .package file into your Mods folder.
Step 7. Go in game and check out your items and then pat yourself on the back.
Now you too can be cursed with this knowledge so that every time a new item/clothing is added to the game and you think, "wow I'd really like this if it was in better swatches" you can just...make those swatches.

may i please ask how you keep your game running smoothly on mac? while my game is fine most of time, I experience lag there and there. and if its not too much, how much storage do you have and how big is your mods folder? -fellow mac user!

Keep reading for my computer specs + additional tips to help reduce lag:
My Specs
Processing Chip: I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro, with an Apple M1 processing chip. I think this is important because the Apple "M" processing chips are far better than the Intel chips. I had a MacBook with an Intel chip for years before finally upgrading my laptop... huge difference.
Memory: I currently have 8 GBs of memory.
Storage: In terms of storage, I have 232.87 GB available of 494.38 GB total. Of that, my Mods folder is 54.58 GB.
Sims 4: I own all of the EP's, GP's, SP's, and Kits. My in-game graphics settings are fairly high. Only because I refuse to compromise on my nice screenshots, lol.
I do not merge custom content. I used to - but now I prefer to separate items and delete items that I do not use. Random potted plant that came with some random set that I never use? Delete. Hairstyle that I skip every time? Delete. I have been careful about only keeping items that I actually love.
Recently, I have been experiencing minor lags, but that's only because I have been playing my current save for quite some time.
Tips to Help Reduce lag for Mac Users:
Merge custom content. I know I just said that I no longer do this, but I used to swear by this method. Apparently, the game does not care about the size of the files, only the number of files that it has to read. Having a small amount of really huge files is much better than making the game read hundreds of individual files.
Delete "localthumbcache.package" in your 'The Sims 4' folder. Don't worry, the game will generate a new one. If you have been playing the game for a while (without deleting this) - this file tends to bloat which causes the game to lag.
Use less clutter... especially if you are using custom content. I cannot stress this enough. The more items you have on the lot - the more the game will lag. Your computer is being forced to read all of this visual information - and it's in overload. There's a reason those EA lots are practically empty.

Rather Long Sims 4 Rant
Before I continue with my The Sims 4 stories, it is with sadness that I inform you that the Wilsons recently lost the beautiful celebrity home they had just moved into. I don’t know exactly what happened, what I know is that it happened right after the For Rent EP update (which I didn’t buy or install, but yes, I did update). From that day on, my sims, who were on vacation in Sulani at the time, were unable to get back in the house. Every time they tried to return, the game would get stuck eternally at the loading screen. I tried everything, even evicting them and returning them to the house. Nothing, just the screen kept loading forever.
I also tried to demolish the lot to re-install the house, but every time I did this, (and I tried a lot of times), the game either crashed or kept loading infinitely. After many attempts of a lot of things like repairing the game, resetting it to factory settings, removing my mods folder, restoring saves, and all the solutions I know (I am die hard when it comes to troubleshooting The Sims), I finally decided to leave it alone and accept that my sims would never recover their beloved house and that they had to move.
Now they’re happily living again in Brindleton Bay, in one of the bigger houses there; they are comfortable, and going on with their lives, though I still really miss and long for the other house, which is still sitting there, since I have not been able to demolish it to put a new one. It’s still stuck there, which annoys me to no end cause I like my cities clean and functional, and just knowing that there is an abandoned and inactive house there really upsets me.
I know I could start a new save and install the house in a clean Del Sol Valley, but that would mean Allan and his family would lose all their current social and work relationships, which at this point for me is unthinkable, with all the networking they have established, co-workers, school friends, romances, etc. Plus, what about all the makeovers I did to everyone they knew? I mean, I saved every townie I made over in my library, but would I have to reinstall them one by one? Maybe, but how? I still don’t know much about this game; I know that in The Sims 3 it wouldn’t be a problem for me.
Anyway, the Wilson’s story wasn’t over, it wasn’t difficult to move them, the only thing that hurt me were Allan and Zoe’s awards, trapped in their lost home. But in one of the rare and fortunate times that I was able to enter the bugged house in build mode, I saved the room where the awards were in my library, and then installed it in the Wilson’s new house. That’s how I rescued the awards that now lie on a shelf in Allan and Zoe’s new bedroom. I continued to play and got a lot more photo footage of them, in addition to what I had before the update disaster. By the way, this is the first time I’ve had problems with an update, of any kind. I pride myself in being an expert at troubleshooting The Sims, but I guess I still have a lot to learn regarding The Sims 4, which is a relatively new game for me.
Anyway, I plan to uninstall the entire game soon and reinstall it on my other hard drive cause I’m running out of space and will need more since I plan to get a few other game packs in the future. Once my game is reinstalled, I’d love to be able to demolish the ruined house in Del Sol Valley and, if possible, reinstall it on the cleaned-up lot to give the Wilsons back the home they lost. So, if by any chance someone read this very long post to the end, and has gone through something similar to this, (i.e. not being able to enter a house but also not being able to demolish it in order to reinstall it), please let me know if you were able to solve it and how. Any new ideas, other than everything I already mentioned and all those obvious solutions around on EA’s Q&A, would be welcome.

Hey Tiger! So fan fic has never been my thing, which I know is highly unusual in this fandom, but I have read my fair share!

"It's Not a Choice, but a Calling" is my first blatantly romantic piece, I believe. Usually, the lines between romantic overtures and professional banter in my fics are more blurred than outright crossed; but Mulder and Scully are married, here, so that wouldn't work. William was an addition at someone else's request; but I believe he works-- an outside figure, in a way. Or, more accurately, a figure Mulder and Scully must keep "outside" (for now) to preserve his innocence. I kept the child sexless to fit into anyone's headcanon-- be it their canonical son (like I imagined) or a different, adopted child (like @television-overload's recent series explored.)

Deep Dive Into Sims 3 Trees Conversion

Wonderful @somedaythesun recently made a post about her research on a way of converting Sims 3 Speedtree trees to Sims 2. You know, that impossible thing to do?
Well, I was very curious how she managed to do this and I suggested my help in this project.
We started branstorming ideas and new ways of making these trees work: from her post you’ll learn that the main difficulty is the fact that the leaves part only faces the front of the tree making holes in it if camera is turned, like this:
The picture above is the best we can do so far, with leaves having their undersides but still staying very low poly (this tree above is 1334 polys).
Another not so great part was that extracted textures were very small, we are talking 64x256 for bark and 256x256 (rarely 512x512) for leaves. Any sims creator (or not) will understand that it’s not good for overall look of the object, especially as big as trees. Somedaythesun however found a way to upscale these textures but it didn’t work well for all of them. Some additional color correction was also required because for some reason trunk textures were extremely bright and not like in the original game.
We also had to decide on the trees size, if you played Sims 3 (which I guess most of us here did), you’ll know that the trees in this game are absolutely HUGE! It’s 4 storeys for a bamboo and more than 6 for a spruce.
There were some trees however that were not made the same way, notably the palms:
Palms must have been made in an old school way so their leaves were fine. At least something worked as intended...
We continued searching high and low for a way to “fix” the leaves but eventually we found out that it would not be possible, and @zeussims who was the pioneer of Sims 3 trees conversion (that Glauer tree!), earlier confirmed our fears.
The main point of this technology, the Speedtree, is that the leaves always face the camera. When trees are extracted in other formats, their leaves freeze in one position and nothing can be done about it. So to make it work as intended, the game itself must understand the Speedtree format which is not the case of Sims 2.
So now that you know all of this, we need your help making decisions!
We don’t have polls yet so we’d appreciate if you could leave your comments (don’t be shy!) giving us your opinion on the following:
1. Should we convert these trees despite their look?
2. Should we make them all seasonal (keep in mind that seasonal trees are much bigger in filesize than their non seasonal versions)?
3. Should we keep their original height or adapt it to Sims 2 (make them smaller)?

Hi, I’m sorry if it’s a weird question, if it is please feel free to ignore it!! I play the pirated version of Sims 4 because it’s just kind of unreal to get the game with its current price and currency in my country😓 even though I know piracy is bad but recently I just found this love and inspiration for building and wanted to maybe share screenshots occasionally on tumblr but I’m kind of worried about the reception from the community since we’ll I’m gonna be posting from the pirated version… and I saw that you use the pirated version as well so I wanted to ask how was your experience on tumblr? Did you have any like troubles with the community at all about it? Again sorry if it’s a little weird, I’m just trying to figure out if it would be inappropriate to post about pirated game or okayish, hope you have a great day!✨
heyyy!! If we talk about some problems, what comes to mind is that not everyone is comfortable downloading buildings from Tumblr, and I don’t have a gallery (I know that it is possible to use the gallery even through the pirated version, but I haven’t done it yet😵) It seems to me that now many people are switching to the pirated version of the game because the content in this game doesn't seem to be worth all that money…? every time there are more and more bugs and people are just tired of it and some even regret that they spent money and also someone even with a license switches to pirated ts4 I use the pirated version for the same reason as you, anon. I would never have had the opportunity to share anything with the community if it weren't for the pirated version. many people condemn this and I understand why, it’s actually kind of illegal in some countries lol but let's be honest, this is everyone's business and decision In addition to the Sims, I have more than 50 purchased games on Steam, and even this amount cannot be compared in price to the price of all ts4 addons🥴
so don't worry about it, otherwise the world won't see your beautiful creations 💜

☢️ It's Patch Day and the Happy At Home fiasco is finally resolved, with a catch. - A short rant that I'll expand later if necessary. I need to update my mods.
TL;DR: As expected, EAxis managed to !@#$ up even this and I'm still using my FOMO Unlock mod. You can keep it or remove it, it's up to you. Happy At Home is unlocked, it's just not unlocked properly.
The catch is that instead of removing the lock code to truly unlock the items, the way I did in my FOMO Unlock, they instead... did some other !@#$. I think they added the entitlement data to our account data, the way Reaper's entitlement data is added to our account data.
Why is this an issue? Well, I'ma tell it to ya'!
Happy At Home has always had an additional problem. The reason I made the FOMO Unlock was because the INI modification never worked 100%. Something has always been missing, and that something results in the Happy At Home CAS items constantly regaining the NEW CONTENT gold badge. You just have to switch categories in CAS to see it pop back up again and again and again and again, ad infinitum.
This is a MINOR issue, very, very MINOR, but it's an issue, an unnecessary issue, and whatever neurodivergence I have makes it an irritating issue. It's an irritating issue because I know it's an unnecessary issue. I know that if EAxis did what I did to FOMO Unlock Happy At Home- heavy sigh.
Barring them somehow removing the entitlements from our account data, this is the last time I will rant about Happy At Home.

Is it narcissism?
I know I have narcissistic tendencies - I was "raised by" a toxic narcissist, but I'm not talking about me.
Almost a year after the Always-Online Sim City (2013) scandal of lies and bullshittery, EAxis released an offline patch, framing it as a gift to the community, as though they hadn't pathologically lied up to and after the release of Sim City (2013) about Always-Online being a core concept of the game that the game simply couldn't work without. Always-Online is what killed the Sim City franchise, because EA, despite being an estimated $37.9 BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY, refuses to invest in proper servers. Folks don't really understand or accept that The Sims 4 (2014) suffers from server woes but it does and it's why going offline in App and game is a form of troubleshooting. It's why the idea of a future Sims game having "Online features" terrifies me.
More recently, CD Projekt Red lied about the state and features of Cyberpunk 2077, released it before it was ready, and since then have proceeded to gaslight anyone who criticized the state of the game or them for their pathological lying.
"We changed how Event rewards are stored with our September 18 update. After this change, we learned that some Simmers are missing rewards they earned through the Happy At Home Event we ran earlier this year." - THE BUG REPORT IS THREE MONTHS OLD. I WAS PRESENT AND INVOLVED. WERE THEY NOT INVOLVED? IS ANSWERS HQ JUST A WATERING HOLE THEY STOP BY ONCE EVERY THREE MONTHS?
"The addition of the Happy At Home Event rewards with today’s update are a one-time make good to thank you for your patience as we continue to work on, and improve, Events in The Sims 4." - IT'S ALMOST AS THOUGH EA ISN'T A 42 YEAR-OLD COMPANY SPECIALIZING IN GAME DE- WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, ARE WE PRETENDING WE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE THREE MONTH OLD BUG REPORT OR ARE WE ADMITTING WE KNEW AND JUST DID NOT A FUCK?
Should I explain to the people how easy it is to unlock these FOMO rewards, because it doesn't require entitlement data and it certainly doesn't require THREE MONTHS of "improvements" and- by "patience" do they mean stating the event is over and there's nothing to be done, or removing all actual solutions, temporarily banning simmers for helping other simmers and calling it disruptive spam, telling me they believe "Gaming is for everyone.™" while- y'know, they could've just said, "we're working on improving future events and making them account-bound and we will unlock Happy At Home for everyone in a future patch, please bear with us." It ain't that !@#$in' hard, but it would've required them acknowledging they !@#$ed up.

With the most recent installments to the fnaf franchise, the discussion of Cassie's father has become a main topic. The common theory is that Cassie's father is "the Bonnie bro". I'm personally against this theory and here's why
(Note: please take everything I say with a grain of salt I don't know the lore like the back of my hand and this is all just my opinion)
1. Satisfaction
The main reason I'm against the theory is because it's not narratively satisfying. This franchise is defined by its exclusively when it comes to characters. They always want to recycle the same characters we've always had. "I always come back" is literally one of the most iconic lines from the series. So to me, to have some random, no name, only mentioned once, less than a minute of screen time, ass dude become an important figure? Hell no.
2. Background info
In order to identify Cassie's father, we must use the information that is given by Cassie. Cassie is a racially ambiguous girl with some dark features who is at least a decade old. She says during Ruin that her dad works for fazbear, has had a deep love for the company, and it's also implied that she hasn't seen him in awhile. In help wanted 2, the player is an older ("hey, you look like you got kids") and masculine (listen to the burp sounds when eating food) worker for fazbear. All three of those fit the bill for Cassie's father. So if I don't think it's Bonnie bro, who do I think it is?
3. It's Micheal
In help wanted 2, there's three (maybe even 4) different time periods we play through. We play through sister location, security breach, and ruin (the additional 4th being fnaf 6). Clearly even though help wanted 2 is supposed to a fazbear employee training sim, it's so much more since the games seem to transcend time by going back and forth between past and future. So that means the player has lived through all of those times. We know for a FACT that Micheal is the main character for sister location. In fact, there ARE no other human characters in sister location besides the dead technicians (supporters of the Bonnie bro theory suggest that Cassie's dad still worked at sister location despite this). There are also multiple voice lines in the game that are extremely important! There's the stuff mystic hippo says, there's baby's lines, and "why are you so special".
Baby says "I feel bad for you" , "I like it here. It's safe, safe forever.", "i recognize you", and "you should have known I'd find you". These lines are PERSONAL. This is NOT stuff she's saying to someone she saw years ago at birthday party or to a random worker that was at sister location. This is her BROTHER, whom she has a hard history with. Why is the player so special? Because it's Michael, and he's always been important.
Michael, the first born, the one responsible for the death of CC. Michael, the one who went location to location, trying to undo the sins of his father. It's Michael that's always been the main character.
Michael also fits the bill for Cassie's dad. He's an older, masculine guy who has a history with working for fazbear, and if we're looking at how Michael looks in the bite of 1983, he and Cassie look similar. (Meaning Michael has dark features like tan skin, brown hair, dark eyes. Of course tho, it doesn't really matter what Michael looks like since Cassie could just look a lot like her other parent. Michael is also canonically white so-)
In the pizza Plex, there's a recreation of Michael's room from sister location. It's not the real room, since there's no evidence that Michael's house was built near sister location, or that sister location and fnaf 6 were one in the same. Micheal's room isn't found underneath the pizza Plex where fnaf 6 was, but in the main levels of the building. His room is also altered. The door is smaller, the show on the screen is different, and there's a message on the wall. If Michael isn't an active player at this point, why is his room here. No one else besides him would recognize that room. This also proves that Micheal was somewhat around during security breach, since that is the only time we see this room.
With that being said, let's move on.
4. Counterpoints
It is heavily stressed that Cassie's dad likes Bonnie. Michael is often associated with foxy, since he would attack CC with a foxy mask on. However, he's only associated with foxy in fnaf 4, and that's it. I don't think he would continue to associate with it decades after. Bonnie was always William's favorite and the rabbit is always associated with his evilness and empire. It's unlikely that Micheal would associate with something so connected to his father. There's two things I say to this. 1: it could be that Micheal doesn't like Bonnie/is impartial but says he does to Cassie since she's a kid and he's her dad. If little Cassie asks her dad, who's your favorite animatronic, he's gonna pick one. By choosing to stay so close to fazbear, he has to somewhat open his heart to the company a bit post the defeat of Afton. 2: when you look at the Bonnie mask in the hidden chest of PQ4 and the AR Bonnie mask in Ruin, the masks are red underneath the purple. The foxy mask is red.
At this point in the story, Micheal is "dead". He died in the fnaf 6 fire. However, given that baby, William, and others have clearly come back after the fire, who's to say Micheal can't come back as well?
So is Michael Cassie's dad? Idk, but I think there's some real compelling stuff.

Sims 4 Lovestruck Opinions
Initial Impressions
I've recently watched both of the trailers; the official reveal trailer and the gameplay trailer. Does anyone else feel kind of disappointed by it? It just seems like a glorified Game Pack, but labeled as an Expansion Pack because they can be sold for more money.
I know I'm not the only person who's kind of let down by this pack, as the idea has a lot of potential. Romance is a huge thing with a lot of different aspects they could've dived into more. Even included more things for couples to do like pottery or some other date activities. Who knows; Maybe the developer livestream will reveal more things. For now, though, it feels like it's lacking a lot.
Update After The Livestream
I just finished watching the developer livestream, and here are my thoughts.
So- First of all, we're getting eyelashes and polyamory in the base game! I am so hyped for this, it adds new storytelling elements! I love the CAS and build mode items! They're also adding the ability to set eyelashes, glasses, etc. for all or specific outfits in the base game! I love it!
All the additions to Sims' relationships and romance in general are so amazing. We have the heart bed and the bear rug back too! Overall, I'm pretty excited about the new pack and the new base game additions!
Update After Playing A Day
I've had a day to play the Lovestruck expansion, and I have some additions to add. First, there's a bug when you move in sims Cupid's Corner pulled off the gallery. My sim, Lila, met Ava. Ava asked to move in, so I agreed. She didn't have the job she had originally, which was not a big deal... it can be added back, and the current level of her lifetime aspiration was blank. I had to use a cheat to complete the blank level, changing the aspiration to another one and back didn't fix it.
Even with some small bugs, it's been fun to have more romance options and be able to customize dates. I'd say it's worth getting when it goes on sale eventually, it does expand on romance a decent amount. Though $40 is pricey when it is lacking. I almost feel like I've explored everything the pack has to offer. Other than wishing for a lover or talking to the ring bear, and seeing if I can actually get the ring out of the heart pond. As well as seeing what the ring actually does if I do get it or if it does anything at all.
On another note: There are bus stops in Ciudad Enamorada that you can use to travel! There are no buses, but it's still kind of cool.

Homestuck Daily - Week 4/End of Month 1 - 5/11/2024
Today marks the end of the first month of my real time Homestuck reread. If my math is correct (and that is a big if), I have 83 months of reading Homestuck left. Based on some more math, I first read Homestuck roughly 50 months ago. I don't know what point I am making with this, except for the fact that time is long and strange.
If I am being honest, I am finding it a hard time to write this update, because it feels like basically nothing happened this entire week. It probably doesn't help that I've been playing Hades 2, an extremely fun and good game, all week. So everything I have to say about this week of Homestuck is colored by an implicit "And I read this instead of playing Hades 2 in that exact moment." Hell, I could be playing Hades 2 right now, but I am writing this instead.
In case you haven't noticed, dear reader that definitely exists, I don't exactly know what I'm doing with this one here. I know, after I worked so hard on developing a strict and rewarding format these past few weeks, I'm throwing it all away to ramble here and now. The thing you need to know about me, though, is that I make terrible decisions. Always have, always will. I promise I'll get to a point, but we'll get there on my own time.
Where was I. Oh right. 50 months ago. Valentines Day 2020. That was the day I began my first Homestuck read through. My girlfriend at the time- she would break up with me a few months later for non-Homestuck related reasons- was a Homestuck fan, and had tried and failed to convince me to read the comic before. We even spent a date night playing friend sim, which I tried my best not to be confused by. Well, Valentines day came, and I decided I would finally relent to my girlfriend's recommendation, and I spent the day reading Homestuck in my college dorm room. And when I started, I did not stop. Not for a long time. You see, it was a Friday, a Friday very early in the semester, in fact. I had nothing I needed to do and 3 whole days where I did not need to treat myself as a human being. I denied myself food, water, sleep, and human dignity as I read Homestuck, all the while texting my girlfriend my reactions. I think the only time I took a break that weekend was on Saturday, to play in a Vampire the Requiem game I had recently joined. I don't know exactly how far through Homestuck I had gotten when I attended the game- but it was further than a person should be less than 24 hours after starting the webcomic.
Which brings me to my point. How quickly into my binge did I get to the parts of this comic that has now taken me a month to reach? An hour? Less than that? I don't know and am unwilling to do the work to find that out. I don't think I had gone all-in on Homestuck at this point, but I do remember being entertained by the Sylladex fuckery that was going on. I found it intriguing, this little puzzle of mechanics, the audience and John struggling against an unintuitive game mechanic that refused to make things easy. That was 50 months ago. So far on my read through, all I really feel as I get to each new gag about Sylladexes is "Oh, today is just this, huh." A part of me is sad and disappointed these gags aren't landing for me in the way they once had. A part of me is worried what else in this comic will suffer with the addition of time. But then I got to the last page of this week's updates, page 137, a loading animation for SBURB set to Sburban Jungle by Michael Guy Bowman, and that worry melts away.
Sburban Jungle is a song that lights my imagination ablaze with visions of epic machinations. I am the kind of person who listens to music not just because I like a song, but because that song puts images in my head that I can't tear myself from exploring as fully as I can. Even back when I was a kid in highschool, I would spend my bus rides home listing to my ipod, imagining grand adventures and fantastic scenes set to whatever music I was listening to. Sburban Jungle brings me back to those days, I think. That feeling that I find so hard to describe right now is part of why I love Homestuck, I think. It is a story about 4 kids, friends, playing a game together. A game where anything can be possible. A game where music brings actions scenes of epic and mythical scale- like the kind I would think about on the bus ride home- to life. That game hasn't started yet, we are still playing a game I'd like to call "Inventory Management if the Inventory Management hated you". But we'll get there eventually.
I have read Homestuck in realtime for 1 month. I will continue this for 83 more months. There'll be many months where I read nothing, and I'll need to think up something to post during those weeks. There'll be months where I'll struggle to keep everything I want to discuss in individual coherent posts. Homestuck is a land of contrasts, and I am going to experience those contrasts in the fullness of time's length. This is a terrible idea, but those are my favorite kinds.
Now that this is written and done with, time to play some more Hades 2.

Hello everyone!
There were no posts for a long time, but in honor of the coming new year, I remembered a half-dead franchise that I hadn’t thought about for a long time. SWEET ELITE. This game is like a dead pet that I love too much to bury. I will not go into the history of this franchise, because if you are reading this post, then you probably at least roughly know what kind of drama happened. But from the most recent one: Sweet Elite author Serena sold the idea of a Dulcet game and left the company.
But I wanted to talk about something else. After replaying the first chapters, resurrecting my emotions, foaming how it all began and where it all came to, I need to share my thoughts. I want to say that I love Sweet Elite very much and this post is a cry from the heart of a fan who just wants the game that gave so many wonderful moments not to disappear abandoned and forgotten by everyone.
So here is my list of things to do in Dulcet Game (and I really hope it gets done):
1) Optimize the site. Because from the moment the site became multi-game, its performance has plummeted. I've always had good internet, and the fact that I have to wait more than a few minutes for a chapter to load is not okay. The idea of having a site that will have a lot of games where you can create those games is a great idea. But if this site is not working, then it makes no sense.
2) Revive the main franchise. Although I am biased in this matter, but no one will argue that Sweet Elite is the most famous and beloved story among players. Accordingly, it must be revived so as not to lose the remaining fan base.
For this you need:
• Find a new author who already loves the story and is willing to take on a project already started. Because there will always be those who will say that it used to be better and that since Serena is not writing this, then this is not canon.
• This wish is more of a luxury than a necessity, but still. It is worth changing the main artist. If the Sweet Elite was one of many stories, or not the first, the current style could be the place to be. However, now, in a period of decline, the Sweet Elite needs to be the best version of themselves. More attractive and pleasing to the eye. Yes, these are additional costs. Yes, we will have to wait longer. But we are already waiting for a long time, and the Sweet Elite has already survived 3 redrawing. Will survive another one.
3) Launch at least ONE regularly released game. In fact, users of the Dulcet game platform do not have a single live and working game. This waiting sim game is just wasting people's time that they could have spent on stories. Written stories. Stories that do not postpone the main content for tomorrow.
4) This paragraph follows from the previous ones. The site needs to be updated with the latest information. For example, it is necessary to remove Black Tarot and Kortia from the site, as the authors have stopped working on these projects.
Finally, I want to wish good luck to Serena and at the same time express the hope that this whole story has not completely discouraged her from creating. And also to strongly ask Dulcet Games to do SOMETHING. Because you either move on or disappear into history. And I can only hope that this will not be the second option.
