first off: her name is Hazel 👍🏻 ik that’s a common one but it’s literally perfect… canon info to me

her favorite thing to do, besides making experimental food, is actually exercising! she’s an incredibly skilled acrobat and stunt artist, so she needs to be fit for that, but she also just enjoys letting the excess energy out bc she gets really cranky otherwise. she’s toned af and could wipe the floor with you - she doesn’t go around picking fights for no good reason, but if she did… heehee

she has such an unending well of passion for all of her interests that some find her to be too much but she dgaf… she’s unabashedly autistic and does NOT care if you don’t want to hear her infodump about obscure cheeseslime genetics, she will do it anyways

i like to think that, although she is very bubbly, she has an insane morbid streak that catches people off guard. she loves talking about anatomy and gross-out subjects to anyone who can stomach it, and cracks the most fucked up jokes - it’s one of the reasons her and noise get along so well. she is thinking about blood and guts because she thinks it’s interesting!!!! she will give you hyperspecific graphic threats of violence if you make her mad!!! teehee!!

i would put her at like… chaotic neutral but leaning towards good. she has an almost scientific fascination with violence and seeing what kinds of stress a body can take, and doesn’t mind watching shit unfold instead of helping… unless something actually super fucked up is going on (like way past canon typical pizza tower violence), she’s not going to bat for you lol she’s gonna grab a camera and clipboard

her interest in anatomy branches out into a love for biology, medicine and health in general - as much as she loves watching her boyfriend beat the shit out of some chump on live tv, she also loves studying how different creatures work and how to treat injuries. she almost became a doctor! but she didn’t like the rigid schedule and pressure, so she fostered her interest in dance and gymnastics, and went into television as a stunt double instead. that’s actually how she met noise! that’s why they look so much alike - she was told to inquire NTV for a job because of the resemblance. noise thought she was so cool she was asked to be his co-star instead, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

sometimes she gets tired of the noisette persona, but she does genuinely like theo, so it’s hard. she’s been more busy with this NTV gig (that’s looking more like a full blown career) than she would like, so that’s why she opened her cafe - to do something else for once dammit!! she likes weird shit, food included!!!

i have two shipping scenarios i like, so consider these parallel universes - hazel x vigi, and hazel x vigi x noise

if you don’t like negative takes on the noise relationship i’d recommend skipping to 2 ^_^

1. her relationship with noise deteriorates bc noise can’t accept the fact that hazel doesn’t wanna be noisette all the time! they’re so busy, he barely even makes time for her anymore - he barely even tolerates her! it’s not until vigi comes into the picture that she realizes she doesn’t have to deal w that mess. but it sucks cuz noise isn’t just her bf, but also like!!! a big part of her career!!! and she does genuinely love him but he’s just!!! an uncommunicative ass!!! it culminates in hazel leaving him and crashing at vigi’s farm because fuck it, it’s her life she does what she wants. she will kiss the cheese AND rebuild her tv career, on her own terms this time baybee

2. noise and hazel still have that issue but they actually communicate like adults and fix their relationship problems, so none of that shit happens! happy ending! hazel has her own life and theo actually lets his gf know he loves her! woah! enter vigi, in: “we saw you across the bar and we really dig your vibe…” imagining vigi as a third to hazel and theo, completely out of his depth but too bisexual to care, is SO funny to me lol… like hazel and him are probably the only two together at first but over time he and theo warm up to each other more (gay intent) and it’s perfect

I truly believe that somewhere in the multiverse of cartoons that deserved more seasons, Bill Cipher and Commander Peepers are mean gay best friends who meet up for the catiest fucking brunches. Eventually Peepers starts inviting Sylvia too and Bill gets pissed that she's a "good guy" at their evil gay hangs. Peepers defends her being there by saying that when they're not at work opposing each others plans they actually get along really well. Sylvia spends most of her life with the Nicest Guy Ever, so she REALLY appreciates getting to hang out and drink mimosas and be a mean lesbian with the guys lol.

A very interesting AU concept would be swapping Sanji and Pudding, hear me out:

It starts with 9 year old Sanji at G€rma. In one way or another, his modifications partially activate. He is still weaker than his siblings, but its enough for J@dge to not imprison him even after Sora's death. (He still gets berated tho) Living like this slowly makes Sanji lose his emotions. He doesn't have a will to to live, yet he can't die.

Meanwhile, at Tottoland Big Mom is furios at a 6 year old Pudding because she just can't awaje her 3rd eye. She calls her a failure, punishes her for nothing, and tells her that she isn't her favourite daughter anymore. Hearthbroken, Pudding decides to run away like her big sister Lola did by hiding in the hold of a ship. She ends up in the east blue and after the ship wrecks, she meets Zeff. They are both stuck on an island fir 80 days, but he sacrifised his leg because he could never let a lady go hungry, its just wrong. Later they are saved and end up opening the Baratie.

Zeff raises Pudding as his precious daughter. She is already great at baking, but he teacges her how to make other dishes and cuisine. Everybody loves her, and anyone who even lays a finger on her will die.

Then Luffy arrives. While Pudding's real dream is to learn about the 3 eye tribe, she tells everybody that is to find the All Blue for her old man (she still covers her eye, Zeff is the only person who has seen it). After the events of the Baratie arc, she joins the crew as the cook.

The rest of the story would be similar. Pudding is now a pirate who uses her leg fighting skills and smarts to get by. (As well as an idden power thats connected to her 3rd eye) The marines gave her the epithet "chocolate leg Pudding". Im not sure if she already has the memo-memo no mi... I'm gonna assume she does and its very useful for her.

The first change in the plot is at Thriller Brak. Pudding notices her sister, but she is scared to face her at first, since that woukd mean telling her friends about her true lineage. For most if the arc, she deribetaly tries to hide herself and even wears a disguise. In a final moment in the arc, she asks Lola to talk to her privately. We don't see what happens yet, but we will one day.

The rest of the story is the same, until Whole Cake Island. When she is kidnapped by the Big Mom pirates. When her bounty poster is changed to "only alive". When the invitation to the wedfing of the 3rd son of the V!nsm@ke family and the 35th daughter of the Charlotte family are handed out. When Big Mom decides to claim her disowned child to give her up in an arranged marriage as part of a coup. Threattening to hurt Zeff and her friends if she doesn't comply.

I love this so damn much you don't even know-- I've always been saying that Pudding's story is basically Sanji's but like, with the bad ending because she never got to escape when she was little but Sanji did. And now that you mention this AU, it's just perfect to show their similarities but also to turn the stories around and,,, It's amazing.

Starting with Sanji, I adore that the approach here is that he's emotionless. I don't think he'd be like his brothers in a narcissistic, egocentric way. I think that after being abused constantly he just loses all will to leave and shuts down completely even if there is still empathy within him. The whole thing with the Vinsmokes is that they were all raised to be powerful killing machines and that's why they act like this, not because they actually are emotionless. And Sanji in this context isn't either, he just seems like he is because he just... Gives up. So I imagine a black-haired Sanji with some blond, completely shut down and just taking the abuse and living with it and serving the family without anything else.

But there is still some type of connection in him to like, animals and women, I think. It's small but it's there. He's not our sweetest boy but he won't harm women the way Niji does and he will help and feed animals because he is strangely attached to them and cooking. But Judge doesn't really say anything about it anymore because at least the kid gets the job done and doesn't seem like he's going to rebel or anything. He's kind of like in a Reiju position? Where he understands their situation and has his own emotions but just shuts down? Except that he's well, extremely depressed and mean and she's concerned for him. I think she still protects him though, she's the only one Sanji doesn't push away. Typical "they sit in silence and she hugs him and even though he stays expressionless it's obvious that he likes it with her".

And Pudding... I love that she gets her happy ending here. I've been saying Zeff has girldad energy and it just makes sense that he'd be extremely protective of her while teaching her to cook and fight on her own!! He raised the most gorgeous, sweetest, and yet ruthless cook of all seas! I think he'd be such a great dad for her because he would help her stand up for herself and also take care of her in their early years together when she is still having trouble adapting to a new, healthy environment. Of course, she still has nightmares and trauma responses when she grows up, and he helps her anyway, but she gets better at some point.

I love that he's the only one who sees her third eye!!! That'd be like, such a good plot point too for her to join the strawhats... Also, her dynamic with Luffy would be hilarious because despite being sweet, I wanna desperately keep her mean personality and she would be SOOO done with Luffy. Their relationship would kind of resemble Lusan's a lot, imo. And Nami would be sooo happy to have another girl in the crew so early!!! I also think she'd hate Zoro but not because of like, parallels with Zosan or anything, I just think their personalities clash too much-- And she'd have a soft spot for Usopp but that's because, you know, everyone does. Also, I like having a girl in the crew that isn't part of the coward trio. She actively fights and I love it. Then Vivi and Robin join them and y'know, I am starting to think another girl in the crew would be literally amazing hahahaha (I've been saying this for so long). So I am guessing everything stays the same except that during Thriller Bark she reunites with Lola but yeah, she doesn't tell the others about it. Because that's what WCI is for!

Then WCI happens... And I am losing it because I really, really, really want her to have the biggest breakdown about it and sacrifice herself Sanji-style (don't you just love how you don't even have to change the plot because they're literally parallels??? I will never understand how some people can hate Pudding lmfao she's literally Sanji). So she's forced to do the exact same thing she does in canon if she wants to save the ones she loves, but she doesn't want to kill Sanji?? Like at all?? And then you have Sanji who literally gives zero fucks about what's going on. I think he'd be forced to act politely and like a gentleman when he literally doesn't care about all of this-- And probably Pudding finds out and he's mean to her, yadda yadda yadda.

And y'know I would absolutely love if Sanji knew they're going to kill him but couldn't care less about it because perhaps dying is better than whatever life he's living, and when Pudding realizes what's going on she makes him want to live just... A little bit. Something awakens inside Sanji and suddenly he's scared and he doesn't want to do this. Sanji sees Pudding's third eye... Pudding finds out about Sanji's mother... They actually won't stop arguing at first, Pride & Prejudice style, and then Sanji sees her with a different perspective and all of a sudden he starts acting more protectively and sweet to her? So she's confused as hell and still tries to argue but uhhhh complicated relationship they've got there, but at least they help each other out.

And idk perhaps we have the Viinsmoke sibs having the same scene they have in canon and helping Sanji out but the crucial part is Reiju paralleling the original scene in which she helps Sanji escape. And he finally does and he leaves with the strawhats because I need them to have a happy ending. So he's still dealing with, you know, trying to express his emotions and wanting to live but he'll get there someday because at least now he's safe. Nobody kisses and forgets anybody because I will not allow a sad ending here, thank you.

I can only picture transfem usopp x nami and a semi modern au. I say semi-modern because it's based in the early '90s Early 200s.

They live in the suburbs and go to high school together. Usopp moved into her neighborhood after her mom died and her dad got an office job.

nami lives with her older sister and their mom passed away as well so they're financially struggling.

Usopp is all ready out to her family and is in the middle of her transition. She meets nami when they're moving and they hit it off fast nami takes her around the town. She's introduced to some of her friends Luffy, Zoro and sanji they like her and she makes friends.

Sanji of course falls for her drowning her in affections and flirtations before being backhanded by nami.

All in all usopp is adjusting well to her new environment and she already has friends. Nami and her start to get really close and start having slumber parties and hanging out on weekends they even made friends with the foreign exchange student Vivi all three of them got close.

Vivi starts to notice the chemistry between the two girls and teases them about it (Vivi had a very short lived secret fling with nami but all good things come to an end after she had to move back home) they both brush it off as being a joke trying to hide their blush.

But they do like each other they actually really really like each other. Nami talks endlessly about usopp to her sister. How pretty her hair is She braids it herself, she always has the nicest outfits She always wears the different color bandana like how many colors does she have?? She's just so pretty She's an amazing painter and really good at photography she carries a camera her dad bought her on her 15th birthday and- She can go on and on and on until her sister interrupts her and tells her to just kiss her already.

Usopp starts hanging out with Sanji a lot more and she confesses her feelings about nami to him. (Their heart is shattered but listens anyway) she wants to be with her I mean she's so kind and funny and tough. She's so headstrong she knows a lot about money but also the weather! she wants to be a meteorologist she's just amazing, everything about her is amazing. But she feels that she can't be with her because she's trans and she's not sure if nami actually would accept her

Sanji at this point is not paying attention to what she saying, after finding out what transgender is. So you know usopp is talking about her first love while sanji is having a gender crisis in the background so she didn't really get that much advice.

During one of their slumber parties the vibe was tense and they actually did confess their view

Usopp:......... (Getting hair brushed)

Nami:............ (Brushing hair)

Usopp:............... Can I ask you something? Uhhmm

Nami:............ Yeah I noticed the bottles, it's fine My sister used to drink a lot after our mom died too.

This is so cute,,, I can imagine it perfectly, honestly. The vibes are immaculate. Usopp and Nami pining over each other and,,, Nami isn't really worried about being a lesbian because the friend group already knows this, but Usopp is completely insecure about telling her she's trans because if she stops liking her for this it might hurt her so much she might not even recover. But they're so comfortable around each other,, They go to school together. They walk home together. They won't stop calling each other every day. Most of the time Usopp says the others didn't want to hang out only because she wanted to hang out with Nami just the two of them. Nami kicking her feet and blushing in her bed late at night trying to sleep thinking about Usopp when she has never done that before. Recess and lunch? They spend it with the group but everybody knows they're in their own little world.

Also, Sanji having a whole gender crisis while this happens (because... She can be a girl... If she wants... She had never thought about that....) and also having another crisis because she has this huge crush on both Usopp and Nami (I am spreading the Sanusona agenda) and they're both... Going to end up dating each other... Ouch. But as long as they're happy, Sanji is happy too!

When Nami and Usopp start dating it's just so sweet. They're so happy all the time around each other. The fuzzy feeling won't go away and yet they're still comfortable doing all those things together because they were friends beforehand,,, And they cherish stuff like holding hands and kissing when their friends are with them because they aren't that comfortable doing it in public yet, although Nami has little to no shame with these things so they always end up making out somewhere public.

Long story short, the three of them end up dating at some point because I say so and my heart is begging for it. So when Sanji has the need to come out to somebody, she does it only with Nami and Usopp at first because she knows they will understand her better than anybody else. It's not like she's in a good household right now to actually socially come out entirely and her environment isn't at all healthy. But Nami and Usopp are there to help her out.

I can't stop thinking about them offering their houses most days so Sanji can sleep somewhere else that isn't her house. They let her borrow clothes and make-up and they do all the stuff Sanji can't do with other people. Since they hang out together a lot, these two end up developing feelings for her at some point and... It's time to also learn what being polyamorous is because they're gonna need to know soon.

Also, the whole 90s aesthetic is SO them. You've chosen the best time for this to happen because I swear I can imagine them like that perfectly <33
