Its always been a norm in the past that id get a whole bunch of wishes from random folks in life to "blaze it up" on 420 cause well - its cause many ppl think I smoke weed for whatever reason. Its always for the same reason citing "oh u look too chill all the time. I thought u MUST smoke a lot to be that chill. Dude youre like a walking ambient"

Meh thats up for debate bcause God only knows what sh*tstorm is brewing inside my head in spite of the calm idc facade

Its also coincidentally the same day that theyll find out that I actually dont? I used to not care about correcting ppl much about whichever lifestyle they attribute me to based on their judgement, because I favoured ambiguity

But now, yeah I do care actually to set some records straight.

- not because I owe it to anybody to explain how I live, Shariah compliant or not mind u

- also not because im better than anybody or tht im doling out judgement about anybodys lifestyle. I sincerely dont care about that. Never did. U do u, brah.

- because its 1 of those few things I actually have a control over in terms of lifestyle? N it takes some effort too. Id like to think that I have this tiiiiny bit of control over myself n what I choose to be

N I mean this in the most humbling way possible, its just tht when I look back at my lifestyle since becoming a young adult, n man oh mannn theres a lot that I did not choose. A lot that I couldnt change, but wish I couldve.

Simply said, the lifestyle CHOSE me, not the other way around n regret that as I may, I was beyond powerless for the most part. Which is humbling.

It was frustrating n certainly a cause for great sorrow at times, but yeah humbling nonetheless. In particular, im referencing to a lifestyle thats deeply rooted in sex lah.

Like I have no issue with the act itself, but its been a great struggle trying to draw up boundaries n COMMUNICATE them. Often times, ppl will violate you, disrespect you, have zero regards over your privacy, personal space, everything really. Its this huuuuge thing that ties everything together, but its also a very taboo subject to be open about in society.

Try navigating n balancing all tht while still trying to understand your own identity, the world, n at the same time having this influx of ppl throwing themselves at u almost everywhere u go.

Try not fcking it up.

Y/N DROP THE BET DROP THE BET YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY ME ILL PAY YOU OH MY,” tendou screeched into his microphone. you just explained how you ended up in this situation where you’re going to a wedding as suna’s plus one to shiratorizawa and everyone, more like just tendou was in a sort of panic state.

“tendou-san, sweetie, CHILL IM JUST ACCOMPANYING HIM,” you screech back. you were currently at a hotel near the wedding venue getting ready for the wedding that was sort of last minute having it just 2 days after suna asked. while getting ready you decided to call the shiratorizawa squad but it went downhill quickly with tendou’s undying dislike for suna.

“accompanying him, what does he also need to be accompanied when he goes to the bathroom?” you could feel the aura of tendou rolling his eyes through the phone. despite his saltiness you couldn’t help but laugh a bit.

“tendou-senpai! why are you freaking out so much? it’s not like y/n-senpai ever falls for anyone, nothing will happen right?” goshiki tried to calm down the fuming red head. tendou wasn’t actually angry he just likes to provoke a bit. you on the other hand, would rather die than admit how you feel for suna.

“pft, yea,” you replied.

“oi y/n you didn’t say anything about you and suna sharing a whole ass couple hotel room,” semi said. you and suna were given a hotel room to share, you were sort of shocked but the suna’s seemed to be richer than expected and the wedding must’ve been a big thing.

“hoi there’s two beds it’s just like a sleepover sem-chan.”

“a wedding, y/n are you wearing a wedding gown?” ushijima asked confused on the situation. “BWHAHAHA SHE WOULD THO,” tendou shouted. “y/n would wear the maid outfit tendou got her, she has no morale,” shirabu coldly said.

“when y/n and i were younger she wore crocs to one of the weddings we went to,” semi brought up. “i did and USHIJIMA-SENPAI, I DONT HAVE ANYTHING ON RIGHT NOW, YOU CAN PICK THE COLOUR OF THE DRESS IM GOING TO WEAR” you excitedly spoke.

“y/n are you naked-“ “hey y/n you said suna would provide a dress, don’t forget that,” semi cuts ushijima off but reminded, what would you do without him. and you were actually wearing a temporary dress just waiting for suna to come back with the dress you’re meant to wear.

“put the circumstances aside, i would say you should wear a green dress, the colour of my crops at home.”

you were holding in your laugh as there was silence as ushijima continued “you can camouflage yourself in the crops.”

“ushijima-senpai, i’ll keep that in mind thank you so much.”

after awhile you heard knocks at the door and the familiar voice of suna spoke “y/n, may i come inside?”

“sHIT I THINK SUNA IS HERE.”

“tell him fuck you,” tendou says. “hey this is a no curse convo, goshiki is here.” you spat back. “what did he even do to you,” shirabu asked.

you ended the call and opened the door for suna.

“what’s up,” you smile.

“hey, sorry did i interrupt something?” suna asks.

“nope, no, this is your hotel room anyways, come inside.”

suna handed you your dress and told once you’re done you’ll go to the wedding venue. you followed through and went into the bathroom for privacy. you were already ready from earlier and just had to slip on the dress. you asked suna if you could go out and he gave you the okay.

there you saw him standing there, his body was muscular from volleyball and that showed through the fitted suit. this was the most tidy you’ve ever seen suna, minus the undone tie around his neck, he looked like this could’ve been his wedding.

“don’t know how to tie a tie now do you?” you softly chuckled. he jokingly pouted, “guessing you do?”

you gave the offer to tie it for him and when that was done you made your way to the venue. the venue was near the hotel so it was a small stroll.

the wedding went by quickly, you sat in the row that suna’s family was on. the wedding itself looking beautiful in the theme of light blue. unfortunately you and suna didn’t pay too much attention to what was happening since the two of you honestly just played imessage games the whole time.

towards the end at the reception, the people started the dancing. first came the hip music for the kids where they all just played around. suna’s sister asked you to join her after her brother told her no. you kindly obliged and joined her and just jumped and had fun, you’ve never felt so young. you didn’t see it but suna was covering his smile from how cute the two of you were.

in the end they had the having the typical slow dance for the people with dates to come. suna’s sister suddenly speaking and saying “nii-chan, y/n! please dance?” rintarou rolled his eyes and shook his head, you on the other hand wasn’t able to say no to her, so you pulled rintarou off his seat and and got on the dance floor.

you both didn’t really know what to do except place your arms around his neck. “you really had to pull me into this?” suna said as he placed his hands on your hips. you looked down and bit your lips trying to hold in your laugh since he didn’t seem to hesitant about this. his relatives started to tease and watch as the two of you sort of just awkwardly swayed together. “suna?” “yea?”

you wanted to have this conversation over the phone, it would’ve been less stressful but you couldn’t wait. “suna what do you think of me?” you asked. “eh? did i insult you or something?”

“what? no i just wondered, are you going to leave me once this is done?”

suna was speechless. he didn’t think you’d ask something like that. especially in the moment. “why would you ask something like that?” suna sounded almost offended.

“you said you needed a date for the wedding and that’s it, exams are coming close so our tutoring sessions would end, you don’t really need me anymore right?”

suna at the moment just felt sort of hurt but he gets the idea of you overthinking what your relationship is with him. he pulled you into a hug and spoke “y/n, you’re not this much of a dumbass, wedding, tutoring session or whatever, even if that wasn’t there i want you in my life. i’m into you, you know that?”

rintarou isn’t good with words. if he had to he could reply to anything with one worded answers but he knows what he wants with you. and for you, his say and do anything.

his words fell lightly into your ears, suddenly it felt like your surroundings disappeared and it was just the two of you. you moved a bit to face rintarou’s face, “you’re into me?” you needed to hear it again.

“so into you.”

you leaned your head into his chest and confessed, “me too.”

suna held your chin and made you face him, “putting all of the dumb bets we made aside, will you be my girlfriend?” you giggled and answered “fuck the bets i’m yours.”

funfact(s):

-the wedding was at a resort a bit far from the hyogo mainland which is why suna recommended that y/n stays at the hotel.

-the miya twins kept teasing suna that he purposely asked to share a room with y/n but no it was completed an accident.

-suna planned on asking y/n to be his girlfriend the night they were in the hotel together but already passed out from the fact he had to share a room with y/n.

-the day before, y/n met suna’s family and they all love her, especially suna’s sister.

-they’re official<3

Uhhh vriska rant and semi character analysis

I am by no means a vriska liker but there are some reasons that she acted the way she did. Though i cant explain some actions, i can give reasoning to others! We are all well aware of the.. horrible things shes done in the comic! But the question is why she did those things!

Despite her horrible actions people may simply like her because of how complex she is. Unfortunately for quite a few homestuck characters, they are forced into a 2 dimensional persona, often not changing their motives or bettering themselves. This can be shown with Gamzee whose entire character after Murderstuck was dumbed down into a 420 clown joke. He had a lot to offer and a lot of potential for change, but i’ll talk about that later ;o) hint hint

A lot of her behaviors stems from her place on the hemospectrum. Shes considered a highblood so feels the need to act like it. Being a highblood holds you to some very high standards, especially on such a competitive and unsafe planet like alternia. This may be another reason why people relate to her and sympathize with her character

She also has a super shitty but kinda baddass ancestor that she looks up to heavily, wanting to be just like her and being very interested in her journals and life story. Unfortunately Mindfang’s journals consist of the most brutal and horrible aspects of troll society, including but not limited to; classism, extreme violence, and deception.

Not to mention that she was forced into murdering innocent trolls to feed her lusus. She used Mindfangs journals and her place on the hemospectrum to convince herself that she wasn’t a bad person. I think that her lusus treating her very unfairly and making her do things she doesn’t really want to do is where most people find her relatable. Most Vriska kinnies also happen to kin rose, coincidence?? I think not.

Its shown later on in the comic that she deeply regrets the things shes done. She talks to Egbert about it, tells them how bad she feels and how she literally has nobody by her side. Rightfully so, but i’m sure it hurts even for Vriska. Despite Vriskas manipulative abilities, i dont believe that this conversation they had was fake. She took a liking to Egbert, they really connected and i think she really trusts them. A lot of people can appreciate her regret and desire to better herself.

Keep in mind I didnt finish homestuck and a lot of this is an amalgamation of what I remember and things i have read in the past. And of course there are a handful of actions that cannot be explained away and covered with excuses.

I missed posting this at 420 420, buuuut I wonder how the main 6 would react to MC smoking weed?

Asra has for sure smoked weed with them before. No questions asked. They have a smoke room under the shop. I feel like pot might even be used in some magical spells

Nadia was a heavy smoker in the past and can keep their cool. Like, no one can tell she's stoned. So when you offer her a hit of your blunt, and she politely declines, explaining how buzzed she already is, leaving you in shock.

Lucio ...I dont think weed is his drug of choice tbh. But he doesnt mind it, he actually enjoys the smell. He loves how touchy you become when high.

Muriel probably wouldn't be the biggest fan. He doesn't judge, but definetly won't let you smoke in the house or around the chickens. Which is fair. Maybe he tries it once or twice out of curiosity.

Julian doesnt like the smell, besides, he may be an alcoholic. He happily will stick with his alcohol and let you smoke outside.

Portia is a secret pot head. Her and Nadia lowkey get high together, and when she finds out MC does too, the three of them start seshing together in one of the palaces many sesh rooms.

I have a question, when I'm counting the calories of my rice on My Fitness Pal, do I count it uncooked or cooked?

Left: the amount I ate if I measured it uncooked, and in cups.

Right: the amount I ate if I measure it cooked, in cups.

I know it's the same amount but I dont know if it thinks I'm eating a cup of cooked rice or if it is just measuring the amount uncooked.

1 cup of uncooked rice makes 3 cups of cooked rice.

So I ate about a cup of it cooked, wich would be a third of it measured uncooked.

Lol this was confusing to explain, sorry but I could really use the help because if I just ate 420 calories in rice I will hate myself :)

hi there, ive not long got the bottom power pack, and i think it great, but without being specific, it is certainly worth the money. ive used it in most locations and had good fish on it, the big alli rods are very good and worth getting on their own, for the cats, barbel, and carp. t(the heavier rods that is), the lighter rods are good for pretty much all other fish, i hope that this helps you, as for a rating i would give it 8/10.

hi all, i bought the carp lord gear, and i leveled up from 40 to 42 in 4 days (realtime),in this lake. many thanks to all those who gave me info. Now what i want to do is catch me some BIG carp, so far in game i think my biggest is about 13Kg?, from the lake in a lake, (when you spawn, go just past the end of the island and cast into about 3m of water). had big grass carp, leathers commons and mirrors too. ive got some good gear and bait, etc. but would really love some help with locations and time etc.( you know the sort of thing). There is only one criticism if you can call it that, and that is there are no weed beds, lilly pads or things like that. it just seems like an open bowl of water,. In real life i used to fish some gravel pits near a place called Yately, and others in the area, ands though there werent many, there were places where there were reeds, lillies and trees over and in the water, where i had some monsters, my biggest was a 40lb 9oz mirror and ive had hundreds over 20, in one day i had over 300lb of creucian over 2lb tench to 7 1/2 and commons too. i was knackered i tell you. many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

quite calm about the whole coronavirus

like he knows it is serious and understands how it is spread but he’s still calm about it??

Does homework really well, too. Probably does extra work or more work than needed just because it makes him feel good afterwords.

Honestly i can see him cooking in his free time. If he doesnt feel like reading or scrolling mindlessly through his phone, he gonna cook.

Will make the best cookies in the universe.

is realy involved with his family!! they play a board/card game every friday night and have the best time.

Still! Playing! Volleyball! I mean by now every boy is practicing at least a little bit. He would probably be in his backyard playing volleyball with his family. Theyy’d set up a net and everythin! They’re all rookies at it but he still cherishes the moments with them.

So I'm still pretty new to fr (only found it s couple months ago) and so I dont really know how to tell a dragons worth (is that the right word?). Ive heard some say it has to do with the dragons # but i just dont really understand. Do you think you could explain it? Its alright if you can't im just curious.

I’m by all means no expert, but I’ll explain what I know. (^___^)’

A dragon’s ID can definitely make it valuable. In regards to how many digits long it is, shorter = more valuable. Seven digits aren’t so much so (at least atm), but the older ones can be. Six digits or less, and that alone will make a dragon very valuable for sure!

As for what the numbers are, usually ID’s ending with a bunch of zeros (50000000), that are repeating numbers/patterns/palindromes (11111111/20202020/30044003), or are references to memes (the dragons 420 and 69 are worth loads alone for their low digits, but you just know someone out there will pay top dragon dollar for the references - lol).

Other things that can add value to a dragon:

Being unbred

Being a G1 (particularly if it has nice colours and/or has a double or triple colour pattern)

Having a rare colour combo (that isn’t rancid, ‘cause you know, some combinations are rare for a reason)

The date it’s hatched on (Holidays, current events, celestial events, Leap Year - which is next year, so save some eggs to hatch for then!)

Having a special eye type

Uuuummmmm……… I’m sure there’s more, but my sleep deprived brain isn’t coming up with it. X’)

This is going to be a long one oh boy

How strict is the delineation of creative control vis-a-vis characters/plays between the mods? (@pedanticlecturer)

We generally have the plays split up along lines of “what we know”— we have a list at the very beginning of the blog. Sometimes we’ll draw the others’ characters (mostly me drawing some of Star’s…) but even then the final say on characterization is up to the “main” mod for that play — mod aster

I think my favorite play overall is Macbeth, just because I like the vibes (and the fact that I too could kill Macbeth), the fact that you don’t say it’s name in theatres, and the fact that it’s a play I did a full read through and analysis of in class. uhhhh,, hmm. ive always had a soft spot for midsummer since i saw it with aster esp bc of how fun the costumes were. of the comedies it has the largest potential to be the most visually pleasing bc of the concept of fairies,,,and im gay and dramatic so i love that. id die if i got to costume design for midsummer,,,or be in it,,,yeah. fav character. hmm. probably mercutio?? i recently saw a version of romeo and juliet where mercutio was played by a woman and oh my god it was amazing!!! not to mention mercutio’s portrayal in baz luhrmann's INCREDIBLE version of r n j!!! I did want to make The Tempest more of a central play, but it just didn’t translate well. Similarly, other supernatural elements like the witches in Macbeth. This isn’t so much a constraint mentioned, but my own time/energy means that I want to show the Macbeth backstory, in a specific format, but I can’t right now— mod aster

Is there a hierarchy of import when it comes to each play's individualized impact on shakespeare high's general arc? If so, what plays are crucial to the foundation of the story? Which ones did you do mostly for shits and giggles? (@pedanticlecturer)

This is phrased like an ACT question and i might not answer it right so sorry in advance but: mod aster and i only selected a few plays for each of us to do given we dont know all of shakespeare’s works, but we tend to put more emphasis on the the more well known. But it also comes down to 1. How much we have plotted out for each play and 2. What the followers ask about most. Our two most popular are hamlet and macbeth bc people are familiar w those but around march caesar always becomes relevant again. I didnt even have designs for some of the characters until someone asked about them. -- mod star

I would say the same as star— it generally comes down to what people ask about. I will say that the overall plot is sort of separated into “has happened” and “is happening”. Like, the human potion of Midsummer, Julius Caesar, and Macbeth are all in the “aftermath” portion, while Twelfth Night, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet, among others, are happening. We’re trying to incorporate as much as we can, and I don’t think any of them were really put in without some thought.— mod aster

I go to a theater school rn and so ive dealt w shakespeare (although not all of them) it also helps that i was in loves labours lost last year as moth and that i read hamlet and r n j. Theres also a theater in my state that always does One Big Shakespeare per season and they always do them super well!!! My love for shakespeare probably started w seeing midsummer at that theater w mod aster!!! So. Theater kid rights!! -- mod star

To be honest, I got back into Shakespeare Because of the blog. I’ve been friends with some people that got really Pretentious about Shakespeare, and it kinda put me off of it. I did have a book of abridged plays (the plays’ plots written out in prose, basically) that I read as a kid, which is what got me into not only the plots of a lot of the plays, but also the idea of having them illustrated. And, same as star, the theater in state does the One Big Shakespeare— and they tend to do some really cool things with the costumes, setting them in diff time periods. Oh man. I started drawing when I was about 10, but it was Bad. I don’t think I got much into drawing again until I was about 14? Sometime around the end of middle school/beginning of high school. I would say I started getting into drawing as more than doodling/coloring edits sometime around 2015-16? I would draw on my iPad with my finger, then I got a tablet for my computer, and now I pretty much stick to my iPad with an Apple Pencil. My first Shakespeare play was….. uh…… probably Midsummer???? Met mod aster when i was like 4 and even tho we didnt live close we became like, best friends although the Best part didnt start until we were like 13-ish and eventually we talked like non stop (about anime and homestuck. Yknow. 13 year old kid things) and we didnt see each other a lot bc of Distance and now its even worse bc aster is in colleg.,e but we consider each other siblings regardless of family bc we’re adopted into our own respective families so that bled over into our friendship and it would feel weird calling him anything other than my brother now. It can depend on the piece? I was working on some (unrelated) oc prints that were song-focused, and for those I just listened to said song on loop. Sometimes I have playlists. Sometimes I’ll just be in a Mood and throw a song on loop. But a lot of time for the blog, I’ll listen to The Adventure Zone for the billionth time, because I have Too Much Attention. I’ve also, on request from Star, linked the most recent “loop song”.— mod aster

I tend to obsess over the same like 3 songs every few weeks so those get listened to on repeat but it also depends on the tone of what im drawing or who im drawing i might genre switch bc of that. If im drawing ophelia i stick to lana del rey and if im drawing hamlet its the neighborhood, horatio is sufjan stevens etc. i have categorized,. Most of the characters i draw into different songs/genres/energies of music but not like i ever follow that. Sometimes i just pull up a really long nonsense video and forget to draw. How did you end up deciding the rough timeline of events in canon? (@pedanticlecturer)

It’s mostly determined by like. How we choose per story? If that makes sense. Like, we just take story by story, and decide “is it happening, has it happened, and when?” And then we fit them together in relation to each other just by dint of. All existing at once. Like, I knew I wanted Macbeth to be in aftermath, because like, even though there’s no murder, the way I’ve translated it to the AU is still kinda heavy, and it’s something that I don’t know that I could do properly if it were happening right now. Also, it’s more interesting IMO to have them at different times. Tl;dr we wing it per story and slot them together— mod aster (mod star agrees I just can word better, in theory)

If you could tell the story of shakespeare high in a different format than an ask blog, would you? Obviously y'all are making very good use of the format, but would you want to write this as a animated series or like? a comic book? or is the form inseparable from the story? (@pedanticlecturer)

I kinda wanted to do a webcomic or maybe to plot develop through like, animatics but the element of surprise comes from the asks we get and really makes us think so the blog is a good start. We didnt think we’d get this far -- mod star

Pretty much what Star said— there are certain elements where it’d be neat to do as a comic or as an animatic. Like, the fantasy dream is like, an anthology webcomic of each story, where you can like, see other characters in the background and stuff. But to be honest, we develop a lot by what we’re asked— there was a post about developing worldbuilding by being asked questions and then pretending you’ve thought about the answer, and it’s not far off. Personally, it’s hard to just lay out a story, because I have a whole WORLD and what’s relevant? What are people interested in? It’s by getting questions that I can then focus in on an area to develop. And yeah, we Super didn’t think we’d get this far lmao — mod aster

My commentary on October Daye #10 or "Whodunnit: non-Electric Boogaloo" OR "Golly there sure are a lot of references to book 3 in this one. For some reason. I'm sure it's just a coincidence and theres no reason for that at all".

This is the first one that's just a liveblog, not a reread. And there's 2 more after this one. Which I'm told are just devastating. Woo!

-The Luidaeg just consistently protects and helps children, huh. Here she's super kind and gentle to Karen even though it briefly cracks her badass intimidation facade in front of a bunch of people. She personally carries one of the kidnapped Undersea kids back home. She uhhh literally helps Toby kill her brother Blind Michael, a literal child predator, way back in book 3. And she rescued Toby when she figured out what Amandine was doing to her. I mean. It all makes sense based on her backstory but BOY is that a consistent trait.

-And Antonio's disoriented "where are my girls?" Talking about the Merry Dancers, when he emerges as a night haunt. That's pretty oof. :(

-OK so night haunts keep the form of the person they eat for as long as that person was alive. So imagine if The Luidaeg had perma died in book 8? The lucky sonofabitch night haunt that got to eat her would have a solid form for tens of thousands of years? That's bonkers. That's bananas.

- That's assuming Firstborn even get eaten @ all. I mean, Blind Michael got killed in book 3 and we haven't seen him with the flock.

I LOVE the Luidaeg. Have I mentioned. This bit is even funnier knowing she can't lie. Which means she has an actual hierarchy of how much she wants to stab everyone she knows

BIG LUIDAEG LORE.

This is gonna take some unpacking. Most notable here is IS THIS THE SAME RIDE FROM BOOK 3? You know, Blind Michael's Ride, the Halloween horror show where he kidnaps kids and forcibly turns them into monsters? What is this flashback supposed to imply? The Ride used to be something else? The MONARCHS of ancient Faerie actually did kidnap kids like in the stories and Blind Michael took it over when they disappeared? The Ride maybe CAUSED them to disappear? What the fuck?

(Also my vampire crack theory gains more ground. Just look at that first paragraph. And then a couple pages later Toby sees the room covered in her blood and mentions feeling hungry looking @ it. Come on.)

-Support for my theory that this reminds me of: both the Dochas Sidhe we know of have the smell of blood as a part of their magical signature. Toby is initially "cut grass and copper" but as she gains power it becomes "cut grass and bloody copper". Amandine is "blood and roses" (which, interestingly, is what Toby tastes when she wakes up in this scene?) August and Gillian are the only other two characters we know of that have Dochas Sidhe heritage, and who knows what their magic smells like...

-The Luidaeg calling Shakespeare "a fucking dumbass" in a series full of Shakespeare references and motifs is, in fact, hilarious.

-Tybalt getting (basically) mortally wounded, so Toby tastes some of his blood. And sees herself from his perspective and how much he loves her. BIG OOF.

-Also interesting that the more powerful Toby becomes as the series progresses she's now the one saving Tybalt's ass. Was the polar opposite for the first 6 or so books.

-Colorado rep -- Highmountain are the big bads. Lmfao

-Well Toby is *actually* immortal. Like how else do you explain the shit that happens in this series lmao. (Also, turns out being that hard to kill is the shittiest superpower)

-Aw Toby forgave Sylvester... we will see if he actually redeems himself, I guess.

-You can tell Toby is embracing the "hero" role with that whole rousing and surprisingly coherent speech at the end.

This is just a real good character development vignette. We've come so far ;-;

-And of course the cure gets greenlit cause.. of course. But The Luidaeg's line "none of those assholes wanted to think about how confused they'd be if they missed a hundred years of internet memes" is, shall I say, Iconique

-multiple people have asked toby and tybalt to get married @ their house. And now the high king and queen fucking asked. Lmfao

-So this book was... interesting. I liked the political drama aspect. It was another whodunnit which we pretty much got a fill of with book 2. The conflict seemed to just kinda be.. there? I'd call it a filler book, but a lot of like.. lore got established, and we got some of what I assume are big hints/setups. Guess we'll see.

-to be fair books 1 and 2 also seemed like filler and turned out to be Super Fucking Important actually. So

-also there is just straight up a 70 page novella starring Arden at the end so I'll see if anything major happens in it.

-it's mostly a character study of Arden, turns out. But we DO learn that Cassandra, Karen's sister, is also a Seer, which... could be relevant (also I mean come on of course she is, did you see her name). Also Walther and The Luidaeg show up so thats fun.

-And it's funny to see what other characters think of October. Mostly she's a train wreck/practical joke that's somehow become extremely relevant to the surprise of literally everyone

-me seeing the total page count is 420: nice

-Anyway. The next two books sound like a gut punch conga line so let's get reading them
