My brain is going "Commander Cody Groundhogs day AU" so let's see what the Ole Brain Box has in there.

So, Cody goes to sleep at the end of the day (maybe it's the same day the order went out, you know, for funsies) conflicted about the day.

And he wakes up the following morning (what should have been the following morning) back on the Negotiator with General Kenobi talking about the plan to take down the giant fake sith insect.

And Cody's just like, nodding along, because this is clearly some force osik and he's not paid enough for this.

(The joke being that he's not paid at all, of course)

And everything happens like he remembers, and the chip activates for everyone except Cody, who's chip activated the day before.

And Cody watches. Absolutely bewildered, as his reasonable, friendly brothers suddenly become hostile towards General Kenobi and shoot him.

And the next day it happens again.

And again

And on the sixth day he wakes up and the first thing he does is comm Fox and Wolffe (they sometimes have a brain cell and his head hurts and he's tired and he died two times in the last 5 days-)

And he tells them everything.

And they don't believe him

And the next day he does it all over again, only this time he has proof because he can tell them what they're going to say before they say it.

And slowly, somehow, these three men manage to find a way to save the jedi over the course of 12 hours.

therapy homework this week is to try things that will make me present in my body. we're trying to get through that. problem is i have NO IDEA WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE PRESENT so i have NO IDEA IF IM DOING IT RIGHT

#any time i try and do grounding exercises i feel like it does the opposite of ground. it makes me feel like im floating away #so. ??? grimaces #im gonna try and go do stuff this weekend. maybe. just me. go to a park or smth. idk #monster decrees #like we talked abt it. and i dont think ive ever felt 100% present. i cant remember when that started.#its just... my normal to float through the day and then get to the end of the week and realize a year has passed #and i dont remember any of it #thats relatable right guys

after jasons death bruce "accidentally" slips harvey a crowbar while hes in arkham and kisses his cheek and says, voice soft and colder than ice, "make him hurt for me honey"

it takes 6 guards to sedate and drag two face off the joker the next time two face sees him and for the rest of their lives as soon as harvey sees the joker he goes after him like a rabid dog.

#harvey voice: you know why im not killing you jokes? cause you can only die once and i want to hurt you so much more than i want to kill you #jason was harveys baby too after all #spent my entire boring work meeting thinking about how robin!jason bruharvey would end in the joker dying no matter what bc of two face #this is all bruciemilfs fault btw. theyve been making me insane about bruharvey #bruce wayne #harvey dent #two face #also bruce doesnt tell harvey to kill or not kill the joker bc he cant request someones death #but he also cant make himself ask for his sons murderer to be spared #i dont think any version of bruce would be comfortable with openly planning someones death let alone actually doing it #but after jasons death he gets so cold and numb to everything that he just turns away from it #he knows hes being too violent.knows hes hurting people too much but the only time hes not remembering how small jasons body was in his arms #is when his blood is roaring in his ears during a fight. maybe if he becomes the worst monster in gothams shadows #no more little boys will go cold and silent. no more fathers will stand in the doorway of rooms that will never be full again

danyal al ghul memes because i don't think i've done those yet for this au.

(the jason one is in reference to the fanon headcanon/au that Jason and Damian potentially knew each other and interacted while jason was in the league. I've thought about it before in context of this au, but haven't thought about it enough to feel inspired or motivated to make a post exploring the idea)

(diablito means, as you can guess, 'little devil'. while i'm neutral to latino jason, i think the nickname is cute as fuck and was danny's main nickname from Jason. i don't wanna touch that timeline so im not gonna decide how old they were when Jason was there.)

Skulker: i am the ghost zone's greatest hunter! i capture and hunt creatures both rare and dangerous. Danyal: a poacher?? you're a poacher?? you poach animals??Skulker:...i sense i've made a mistake of some kind.

anyways that was the day that Skulker cemented himself as Danny's no.1 opp, and still remains there to this day even if he and Vlad are both viciously fighting for second. Out of everyone in the the AP rogues gallery, Skulker will be the first to be thrown under the bus in terms of 'o shit here comes phantom fucking RUN'.
