I know that realistically you can only fit so many movies into a list of approximately 100, but I cannot take that "How many of tumblr's favorite movies have you seen?" list that's been going around seriously because there are some truly egregious omissions.

Some of it is very clearly recency bias, which makes me wonder if the op truly wasn't on here in 2013 or so, but you're telling me you made a list of "tumblr's favorite movies" that doesn't include Pacific Rim or Mad Max: Fury Road? Because, like, I was there, Gandalf.

what nobody tells you about working secretary/admin jobs is since you have to be the one to tell others "someone on the phone wants to talk to you" "someone is here for an appointment" etc all your coworkers just slowly begin to associate seeing you with having to do the annoying parts of their job so they just gradually learn to hate you a little bit. not their fault

if you work at a bookstore or similar place and someone buys something even slightly out of the ordinary i need you to make a fun little comment about it for me because i go to the used bookstore to buy dvds like once a month and i usually end up buying a lot of one type of thing and i feel a lot better when the cashier is like "haha you like star trek huh?" than today when i bought like 7 dc hero animated films and the cashier just looked at me strangely.

theres a request that someone sent me like 3 months ago and its so impossible to draw in a coherent way but its so fucking funny to me that i cant bring myself to delete it. like im compelled to draw it one day its just so intimidating. i would say you know who you are but i dont even know if the person who sent this thought it was as funny as i do.
