The fact that people still get Arya and Gendry's characters wrong to this day gets my blood boiling. I literally saw someone on Reddit say Gendry wouldn't have let Arya be herself?! And it got so many upvotes??? Like what the fuck??!! That person said she also wouldn’t be happy with Gendry and someone responded they wouldn't actually be equals because that's too "unrealistic" and "happy." Um hello? There are multiple women in the GOT universe shown ruling and being independent in spite of societal norms.

I'm getting mad over the final season all over again. I need to calm down. Other (wrong) people might thing Arya is a loner or a nomad or a pirate or an emotionless assassin who doesn't care about anyone, but really, all that is is trauma. Like she started her list and quest for revenge due to the trauma of loosing her family and all that death and violence.

She just needs to heal first. I was mad at the time, but I think a year at sea will be good for her. Give her time to self-reflect. To unpack all her trauma and everything she's done. I have a sinking feeling my girl thinks she isn't worthy of love anymore and that her family and Gendry will think she's a monster. We know that's not true. But does she?

She's not gonna roam the seas forever. She'll go back to her family eventually. And when she does, I think her journey would only last a year, I think she'll reunite with Gendry and settle down with him. She'll be like Lyanna Mormont. Untraditonal. Honest. Independent. Fighter. She can still ride horses and do all things she loves and still want to get married to him eventually and have kids.

I dont see why it has to be one or the other? Lyanna's mom, Maege Mormont, did that. Why can't Arya? That's what pisses me off, that people think just because you're a tomboy doesn't mean you dont want love or romance. And I don't entirely blame these people since the show is bad at portraying different types of women and how, yes, even a tomboy can want those things. It also didn't help that Arya was almost emotionless in seasons 7 and 8.

Anyway, how the fuck can they think that about my boy Gendry?!?!? Justice for him. This post I'm ranting about was from a year ago, but I can't help but be pissed off. He was drunk!!! He got his own last name wrong!!! He didn't know what he was saying!!! The only ladies he met at that point were Arya, Brienne, Sansa, Lyanna Mormont, and Daenerys. All who are independent, strong, respected, intelligent, and who don't dare have a man tell them who to be.

Of course he got confused!!! He already has a complex growing up as a lowborn blacksmith. So, of course, he'll get confused and think "oh Arya can be this type of lady, I've never met one before, but they seem fine. Not like a snob at all. Now Arya and I can be family and I can be worthy of her!"

Also, Maisie and Joe ship Gendrya and Maisie said in an interview she'd like Arya to be at peace with a hunk and all she needs to be convinced to do a sequel show is to have zips instead of laces and Joe said Gendry would die of a broken heart so suck it. Joe also said, "at least now not capable of that love," or something to that affect.

That person is wrong, and I'm mad at D and D all over again for ruining my one OTP who actually had a chance at being canon. So thanks, guys. Anyway, those interviews are on my blog somewhere. And Suguru would be oh so up close and intimate. If you comply he would over do it with the cooing and he slowly talks through it thinking he’s taking such great care of you. Firm but gentle thumb on the cotton ball pressed into the crook of your elbow. Slowly placing the bandaid with a deliberate touch across your smooth skin. And if you writhe and resist, even better he’s now trying to ease your “phobia” with his syrupy words saying it’s perfectly normal to feel afraid right now. Though ah ah ah can’t have you moving around like that don’t wanna bruise your delicate skin. Best to call Satoru in to hold you in his lap don’t worry they’re happy to do this for you. It’s for your health after all.

Was this planned between satosugu? - yes and no...Suguru was probably devastated when he got the divorce papers. Not going to lie he deeply loves reader, put them on a pedestal as his angel. So, Satoru being the friend...and well lover to them both...wanted to bring them back together. Kind of like a child with divorced parents. Was he thinking about dragging reader into the mental hospital? No! He was mainly just constantly suggesting she work there a few times, he can be kind of pushy saying things like "it's not as busy as the ER" or "You don't have to worry about getting micromanaged by doctors" definitely in the epilogue, I really want to showcase satoru and readers friendship because he's also madly in love with her but also loves his bestfriend...it's complicated. So he would never steal her away.

Hospital lore, It's really common for hospitals to be privately owned, so the gojo clan does own the hospital (amongst other things) Satoru met Suguru in med school and offered him a job. So they're like at the tippy top of their doctor team. Which is why they were able to clear out the common room and blank out the cameras for medical malpractice.

Satoru defect from Suguru - it'd be messy, I think it'd be one of the sheer moments that the reader actually sees suguru as aggressive. Like Suguru has never once shown anger to the reader, but the reader witnesses him slap Satoru across the face. Satoru would probably just get a small beating, and Suguru would use Satoru's love against him to continue. That this is for the best. Though suguru is struggling the whole time. Internally battling because he doesn't want to hurt his baby, his love, so he just pictures this as "it's okay, we can go home and you'll be safe" kind of scenario.

Its why I didn't go the lobotomy route because Satoru would've tapped out and I think it would actually destroy suguru in a sense and he'd blame himself if reader died from that. ECT has a low death rate and while can cause amnesia and lower cognitive function he would just SAVOR that. You mean you have to rely on him?? For the rest of your life?? Beautiful.

So basically after pyrrha dies to cinder it's not ruby who sees Pyrrha's death but it's actually jaune, and jaune unknowingly unlocked his semblance due to this and, well I have a little theory about semblances or at least I would like them to be handled, semblances manifest when a person has reached the peak of a desire, that semblance thus grants that desire. So basically once Pyrrha's dead jaune's semblance is released and it's a little different, I dub his new semblance, "spectral", basically how it works is he can imbue his aura into a anything and forces it to live, or if someone dies he could force their souls into his service. Anyway that's the idea now for some skits.

my hot take is that everyone's opinion on bruce as a parent is wrong. people fight about whether bruce is a good dad or if hes abusive and personally i believe there is nuance.. i dont think that any watsonian interpretations of bruce as a father are worth talking about. bc yes he is abusive because he does hit his kids often HOWEVER its always like. making a point within the story. to say "bruce is a terrible father because he slit jason's neck to stop him from killing joker" is true but most of what that scene was doing was making a point about the downfalls of bruce's moral code but also how bruce sticks to it. it feels kinda ridiculous to me to talk about any scene where bruce is hurting his kids without talking about what the writer was trying to do and what purpose it was playing in the story. especially because pretty much every scene where he beats his kids is being used to show that bruce has gone off the deep end. thats not to say hes secretly a good father or that him beating his kids is fine actually, but im just saying that it feels wrong to point to a scene where bruce is hurting his kid and say "look! its proof that hes abusive!" without also acknowledging the doylist analysis of the scene. BUT on the other hand i think a watsonian analysis is fine when youre talking about being emotionally abusive, because he is very clearly manipulating and/or neglecting his kids and its usually the author's intention to show exactly that

“This isn’t fucking working, they’re dodging all the questions!”

“Well just hit them harder!”

I piped up, “I have an incredible pain tolerance, your best bet would be injury to the point of delirium and HAH-” I laughed “-you’re have better fucking luck convincing a certain few people that my quirks can be blocked.” I side-eyed All Might.

He knew damn well what I meant.

The villains sighed, “alright, just put them back in the fucking cell, we’ll deal with this tomorrow.”

I let them drag me from the chair in the center of the room of cells and throw me in my own little private space, free of idiots and barred off from everything else. I situated myself as best I could given my restraints and leaned up against a wall. I could break out of them if I wanted, but that wouldn’t be as fun as watching them try to extort information out of me, plus all the explaining that would come with.

“You just had to say that didnt you…”

I turned to the only other person locked up in here. Of course it had to be him. “Yes, actually, I like pissing you off. Actually, if you think about it, had you not done any of that shit, we wouldnt be here in the first place,” I growled out the last part.

"Maybe if you’d stayed in line, we wouldn’t be here.”

“Maybe we wouldnt fucking be here if you learned how humans are meant to be treated.”

“Oh so now I’m not human?”

“SPOILER ALERT! You never fucking were. You’re a monster. You did all that shit to me, and Rullo, and Max, and Sayovai, and-”

“Good gods you even memorized their names…” he cut me off.

“FUCKER THEY WERE MY FAMILY! DONT YOU DARE IMPLY THAT NONE OF US MEANT ANYTHING TO EACHOTHER!!!” I screamed at him.

“Puh-lease, family? You wouldnt be able to answer shit about their past lives if you tried!”

“Yes the fuck I could! Because unlike SOMEONE, I would actually know what questions to ask! You couldn’t even list the proper allergies on people’s files.”

“Oh and you knowing everyone’s allergies makes you sooo much better than me?” he mocked.

I tilted my head. “Are you being serious right now?” The anger underneath my sin was making my blood boil. I grabbed at the bars of the cell, snapping my restraints in the process, I didnt even fucking care about that now. “I AM BETTER THAN YOU! And it’s not because I know people’s allergies, or know their names and can speak their languages, I’m better than you because I DONT EXPERIMENT ON PEOPLE!”

“IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOUR TIME AT THE LAB YOU WOULDNT BE CAPABLE OF HALF THE THINGS YOU CAN DO NOW!” he shot back.

“WE WOULDN’T BE IN THIS SITUATION TO BEGIN WITH IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU AND THAT FUCKING LAB YOU ASSHOLE!!”

“MEQAT3, dont you-”

“OH I THINK I WILL START WITH THIS AGAIN! How many times will I have to remind you, that you are the reason for my powers, you are the reason I was able to escape in the first place, you are the person that kidnapped me when I was nine, gave me quirks that NO reasonable person would give to someone of my age, used me in experiments, once put me in a shock collar for the god’s sakes, you are the person behind all of this! Do I need to bring up the genetic experiments? All the children at the lab? How about all the people that died by your hands, huh? How about I bring up Lian and Adonia, huh?”

“THAT’S ENOUGH MEQAT3-”

My quirk burst out around us, threatening in every manner. “You have no right to call me that.”

“You wouldnt even be this strong if it weren’t for me!”

“I wouldn’t need to be this strong if it weren’t for you.”

“Oh really? You weren’t gonna be a hero back home? Let me tell you something, no matter what fucking path you took in this world you would’ve needed that strength-”

“NONE OF THE PATHS ANY PERSON TAKES IN THIS WORLD WOULD REQUIRE THE STRENGTH THAT BRINGS LITERAL GODS TO THEIR KNEES. YOU BETTER SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH ABOUT BEING ‘THE CAUSE OF MY STRENGTH’ BEFORE I GET A NEEDLE AND THREAD AND DO IT FOR YOU.”

“You wouldn’t dare!”

“You think your hero status matters to someone that you’ve wounded this bad?”

“What are you, a villain now? Why dont you break out of that cell and just walk over there and join these ones huh? I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re the traitor! Maybe I should report you-”

“You think I need the backing of the League of Villains to have enough power to take you down? You think I would need the power of All For One in order to revoke your quirk from you? You think someone who has met literal gods is scared by your empty fucking threat?” I phased through the bars to lean as close as I could despite the gap between our cells, “I am not fucking scared of you. I might have been, back when I was nine and you put the shock collar on me, back when I was 11 and you removed all food access for a week to everyone but the still-developing genetic experiments, back when I was 12 and Aidonia died because of the experiments, when I was 13 and finally escaped but guess what? I’m seven-fucking-teen now. And you sir are one anonymous tip away from being thrown in maximum security prison.”

I phased back into my own cell and detected a slight shuffling from the door way. I looked over.

4 pro-heros, 2 sidekicks, 2 amused villains, 8 shocked faces.
