The fact that people still get Arya and Gendry's characters wrong to this day gets my blood boiling. I literally saw someone on Reddit say Gendry wouldn't have let Arya be herself?! And it got so many upvotes??? Like what the fuck??!! That person said she also wouldn’t be happy with Gendry and someone responded they wouldn't actually be equals because that's too "unrealistic" and "happy." Um hello? There are multiple women in the GOT universe shown ruling and being independent in spite of societal norms.

I'm getting mad over the final season all over again. I need to calm down. Other (wrong) people might thing Arya is a loner or a nomad or a pirate or an emotionless assassin who doesn't care about anyone, but really, all that is is trauma. Like she started her list and quest for revenge due to the trauma of loosing her family and all that death and violence.

She just needs to heal first. I was mad at the time, but I think a year at sea will be good for her. Give her time to self-reflect. To unpack all her trauma and everything she's done. I have a sinking feeling my girl thinks she isn't worthy of love anymore and that her family and Gendry will think she's a monster. We know that's not true. But does she?

She's not gonna roam the seas forever. She'll go back to her family eventually. And when she does, I think her journey would only last a year, I think she'll reunite with Gendry and settle down with him. She'll be like Lyanna Mormont. Untraditonal. Honest. Independent. Fighter. She can still ride horses and do all things she loves and still want to get married to him eventually and have kids.

I dont see why it has to be one or the other? Lyanna's mom, Maege Mormont, did that. Why can't Arya? That's what pisses me off, that people think just because you're a tomboy doesn't mean you dont want love or romance. And I don't entirely blame these people since the show is bad at portraying different types of women and how, yes, even a tomboy can want those things. It also didn't help that Arya was almost emotionless in seasons 7 and 8.

Anyway, how the fuck can they think that about my boy Gendry?!?!? Justice for him. This post I'm ranting about was from a year ago, but I can't help but be pissed off. He was drunk!!! He got his own last name wrong!!! He didn't know what he was saying!!! The only ladies he met at that point were Arya, Brienne, Sansa, Lyanna Mormont, and Daenerys. All who are independent, strong, respected, intelligent, and who don't dare have a man tell them who to be.

Of course he got confused!!! He already has a complex growing up as a lowborn blacksmith. So, of course, he'll get confused and think "oh Arya can be this type of lady, I've never met one before, but they seem fine. Not like a snob at all. Now Arya and I can be family and I can be worthy of her!"

Also, Maisie and Joe ship Gendrya and Maisie said in an interview she'd like Arya to be at peace with a hunk and all she needs to be convinced to do a sequel show is to have zips instead of laces and Joe said Gendry would die of a broken heart so suck it. Joe also said, "at least now not capable of that love," or something to that affect.

That person is wrong, and I'm mad at D and D all over again for ruining my one OTP who actually had a chance at being canon. So thanks, guys. Anyway, those interviews are on my blog somewhere. I reblogged them from someone if anyone who actually bothered or cared to look at this wants to find them or ask me to find them.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 Pt. 2

WARNINGS: SPOILERS (obvs); not a Khaliiiisi fan; Jonsa shipper so I might talk about it.

4.- Euron Sparrow (I feel like I should add Captain somewhere) makes his heroic entrance in KL, and I find this kinda intresting, Hot Pie told Arya it was Cersei the one who blew the Great Sept of Baelor like it was common knowledge, but like how do people in Westeros know this stuff? news travel by ravens, and merchants and soldiers perharps but common people don’t know the High Lords and Ladies motivations and information has a way to get twisted (the best example I can think of is Season 5’ s troupe from Braavos, they told the story of Joffrey’s ascention and his death in a very pro-Lannister light) so I’m really interested in knowing just what did Cersei said about the whole affair. I mean people’s reaction to Ellaria and co. is pure entreteinment for them, they have no real beef with them but still interested in all this stuff.

We have Cersei herself sitting on the fugliest chair of the 7 realms (aka the IT) while Euron gallops into the throne room (like Euron can you be a lil’ less extra??) and presents her with her gift while shading the fuck outta Jaime, anyway Euron wants to put a date to their wedding but Cersei is having none of that until the war is over.

Euron still is looking for a fight with Jaime, and says he hopes the can have a bro talk about just how kinky is Cersei in bed (LMAO Euron is awful but he makes me laugh a lot).

Now we have Cersei in the dungeons with a very bright pink lipstick on (where do you even get that stuff???) and talks about Oberyn vs. The Mountain, she is just taunting Ellaria and has a very emotional moment while talking about Myrcella (Lena Headley is a hell of an actress, as much as I hate Cersei I don’t want her to die if only to keep enjoying her brilliant performance)

Then she kisses Tyene and reveals Qyburn managed to find out the poison Ellaria used with her daughter and her revenge would be forcing her to see Tyene die, and then wipes away the poison-pink lipstick and drinks the antidote like a total badass (RIP bad pussy).

So getting revenge turns her on and she goes to kiss Jaime and gives him head (like wow there has been a lot of oral this season), they end up on bed, and one of Cersei’s maids knocks, Jaime is like oh no, nobody must know!! And she’s like I’m queen so I can do whatever the fuck I want (no, that’s not how it works, that’s what got your monster of a son killed dumbass) anyway it seems short hair is lit now (cool cuz I got short hair too) and doesn’t say anything about literal incest in front of her (very wise dear).

Now apparently Cersei has a visitor from the Iron Bank (remember they are hella broke thanks to Robert?) and she has to deal with it, to be fair Cersei is a hell of a negociator, she manages to convince the emmisary to give her 15 days to pay her debts and trash talks D once again (the fuck bitch me too).

(round here I get confused about the order of the scenes but I’ll try)

5.- So Theon is found by a surviving ship and the Captain treats him like dirt for not fighting for Yara, and pls leave my son alone.

I have nothing much to add really was a pretty short scene and I hope to see more of Theon next episode.

6.- Back in Dragon Stone we have Jon talking with Tyrion, he says he was wrong to have come and wants to go back home (OMG my poor baby) cuz it’s clear D has no intention to help him, Tyrion tells him to cut her some slack (I mean I kinda agree it’s not easy to believe and fight with a dude you just met but then again she was very rude and antagonistic) and goes around telling him about all the good stuff D has done (k I get his point, but were you there to see the conquest of Meeren and Astapor Tyrion?? No, you got there when shit hit the fan due to Danisss incompetence as a ruler, so I fail to see how someone as clever and analytical would make such blind statements unless that someone is in love) Jon agrees reluctantly.

7.- Winterfell!!! At last!!! So we see Sansa talking with Lord Royce, LF and the Maester about the resources they have for Winter, and she is Walking around the castle looking over the preparations and making questions and very good suggestions every now and then.

Seeing this scene struck me this is the first time we see someone actually ruling, allow me to explain: the first 2 shots we get of D and Cersei are of them sitting on their thrones but doing nothing but serve themselves (D with trying to force Jon to bend the knee and Cersei with her revenge) now of course they’re preparing for war against each other, who gives a fuck about food or warm clothes in winter amirite Ladies? Well, A GOOD RULER that’s who, Sansa is still Lady Sansa she does not parade titles around nor she sits her ass on the court room and calls it a day or calls herself Queen, yet she is the only one who acts like one. If she doesn’t know something she immediatly asks, she seeks solutions and acts quickly, that suggestion about adding leather to the armors was a little detail but so huge because she doesn���t only care about the armor being strong but also that it keeps her people as warm and comfortable as possible, and Imma cry because it’s such a huge difference from other selfish rulers we’ve seen in the series.

Anyway, LF starts by saying ruling suites her well (dammit the first time he and I agree with something) but says she is too focused on the WW thing, she answers that they should (thank god at least someone believes in Jon) he warns about Cersei and honestly is hillarious because she knows bih!!! And she tells him as much, honestly Sansa is getting more savage in her responses to Baeless what a time to be alive!!!! Littlecreeper then proceeds to talk like a fortune-cookie, I tried to make sense of it, but still confused he tells her not to fight battles anywhere but her mind ( k I think he means being analytical and politicaly savvy, not rushing into conflicts everywhere) also that her friends are enemies and enemies are friends (bottomline I think it’s trust no one cuz alliances shift a lot in time of war, or at least that’s what I think it means) and that she will she things she has seen before (ummm so like people are predictable and she only has to observe and she’ll realize she knows what kind of people they are and thus predict/guess what they’ll do because she has already dealt with that, or is he talking about parallels or what??? Idk why is he so cryptic now???) it mattered not cuz Sansa gets called to the gate, and…

Bran!!! He is back!! And Oh my god Sophie Turner’s performance is A+ her expressions are beautiful and really made me cry, Bran is very changed tho, and I see he is getting a lot of hate but why? He is clearly dealing with a lot of difficult stuff, he IS the Three Eyed Raven now, seeing past/present/future must be hard on his psyche and the threat of the WW is overwhealming so stop pls.

They are under the weirdwood tree, Sansa looks adorable sitting in the snow and hugging her knees to her chest, and she just about kills me when she says “I wish Jon was here’ now of course I know she says so because she wishes Jon could share the hapiness and relief of having their little brother back but still (my shipper heart) and immediatly says WF is his (honestly Imma say this now, fuck the people who called her a power hungry bitch, you don’t like her or find her boring? Fine we all are allowed to have characters we like and dislike, but the blantant misogynistic hate Sansa’s been getting since day one has been overwhelming, fans of her get called delusional and anti-feminists for supporting an embodiment of the patriarchy and other willful misinterpretations of her character and I’m glad D&D have shown she is not what the fandom’s been acussing her of) putting the final nail on the Starkbowl coffin. Bran reject his title as Lord because he is the TER, and Sansa, the girl whose only contact with magic/supernatural stuff has been through what Jon told her, immediatly belives what her little brother says and not only that she asks him to explain what does it means because she wants to understand him (and OMG what a concept actually listening to people!!!) now I understand why every actor on the Stark fam wanted Sansa on the IT or Winterfell, she is an amazing ruler.

Bran triggers her ptsd talking about what Ramsey did to her, and she very graciously excuses herself, while Bran stays back to get some work on the NK business. I think this was a way to make her stop asking questions and kind of showing what his powers are about? But I’m not sure.

What I thought about the characters: Game of Thrones season 7. [SPOILERS]

Jon Snow: You have very pure, good eyes. It was delight surprise but also I felt little bit disappointed with that you were the chosen one after all. But you deserve it Jon.

Arya: You are not completely cold blooded. I felt your warmth through the way you look at Hot Pie. That moment was good.

Sansa: Beautiful and strong and rise from filthy hell. But she poisoned by bad people so many times, and now is Baelish. She has a good heart but so easily poisoned. I think so, until I watch the season finale. I’m sorry. The North lives in you.

Bran: You died in that cave.

Okay, my thought is just, I want to Meera and everyone who died for him to know he can helps his siblings and everyone because of you guys.

Meera: Thank you for bringing me home, thank you for helping me all the way. I will save people using this power. I couldn’t do this without you and your brother, and Hodor and Summer. Thank you, Meera.

I like Aidan Gillen from before I start watching GOT, and I like Baelish because of him mostly. But Baelish was interesting and my favorite scumbag. I’m happy he’s dead but I always enjoy watching him.

He had nothing, he loved one lady but she will never be his lover, but he struggle and play his cards well. But you sacrificed too many things. Sacrificed so easily. You poor Littlefinger.

Tormund: I think I am the person he hates most (can’t use the sword or any weapons, can’t knock down people, skinny, short), and he is so scary. But he is hot. What is this feeling? I like the ginger hair by the way.

Hound: Stupid dog…!!! But he was cute through the season. I always remember you killed the innocent boy. But you becoming another person through the whole season. Thank you for saving the wildling who kissed by fire. I wanted him to kill the Mountain but now I wishing his peace life with delicious chicken. But if he want to kill that monster, I won’t stop.

Brienne: I can understand why Tormund like her. Because she is strong without Dragons (no offense Khaleesi, you are perfect), and her toughness is very beautiful. No man and woman doesn’t have the beauty she has.

Podrick: He has ridiculous funny cute smile, but also he has guts, and he is so innocent existence. (I know he has a powerful magic skill what can use to ladies but he is innocent.) I don’t know, who hates him? I love him. So much. I want his face’s wallpaper in my PC and phone.

Sir Davos: He said the best lines in season 7. “Thought you might still be rowing.” I like this old man.

Gendry: Finally he made it to the shore.

And another thing… It’s not my fault. Red witch tied him up to the bed, scary worriers tap him on the head, so… I want to tease him too. They made me think so!!! I’m not pervert! Sorry I lied.

Beric Dondarrion: I like his magic burning sword but his philosophic view is too strong.

Thoros: Funny drunk man. I’ll choose Thoros if I asked Dondarrion or Melisandre or Thoros? (What a horrible question.)

Ellaria Sand: Her fire, her heat for the love is a source of her power and also became a cause for the things what tear her up. Not so many people have such a vehement and self distractive love.

Obara, Nymeria, and Tyene Sand: I like these girls. Passionate, powerful, sometimes very selfish. But they are tough and eager for what they want. Attractive people. Why they(creators) always hurting Dornish people. They hurting everyone I know but I feel very attacked every time they killing Dornish people. I don’t know why but I feel so.

Yara Grayjoy: Her smile when Ellaria stroking her thigh was very charming. What!? These two? Oh yes, do it, DO it. I thought. Then that m**********r coming in.

Euron: Will you please die?

Olenna Tyrell: She wears big strange, hat(?) and very orthodox lady dress always but she is fucking badass. I wonder she will be a good dragon rider if she was young. I wanted her to be a dragon too.

Jaime: Some people like him, some people hates him. Very debatable person I think but I am the second one. I will never forgive him because he kill ed Jory. Thank you for saving Brienne, and I enjoyed what you did in season finale but, never.

I didn’t feel bitter about Hound anymore and I do feel bitter about Jaime. Is that not fair? No I think not. Jory means to me, but I barely know that boy. And I’m cold blooded.

Cersei: I think she is debatable too especially in late season. But I, Never, Liked her. She is interesting than Jaime, but… Number one reason of why I don’t like her is… she killing and hurting everything everyone by never dirtying her hands. Maybe she did it once or twice? One of those was for Myrcella but so small things. I like passionate character, obsessed with very limited love so selfishly. I like a character like that even if they breaking many things. But only, under the condition that they break it by themselves. By their hand.

Cercei is interesting. She is very complicated and well created. I like Lena Headey. But I don’t like Cercei.

Qyburn: Wow, he’s a badass maester. I think so at first. But fuck you. You are not, by all means. He made a dart to pierce through cats. For my eyes.

Bronn: I always want him to be alive and well but I wish his death at the first time when he aimed at something he shouldn’t. But this is him. I know but, yeah… Will you please stop hurting my stupid mind like this way? Please? And tell me why Jaime’s horse was so brave? Arya’s horse was looks like almost died because of heart attack when he/she surrounded by wolves.

Tyrion: Maybe it’s my fault but I can’t understand why he likes Jaime so much even now. It’s not because of Jory thing but I can’t.

Reunion with Jorah, Bronn, Podrick was such a happy moment. I like this strange company of Tyrion.

Varys: You didn’t talk much, right?

Melisandre: Red priestesses are always terrifying Varys.

Jorah: His sad eyes of love for Khaleesi is always hurting my heart. But I think this old man is happy now because he gave a hug from her, he hold her hand, and Tyrion gave him a coin. Hahaha.

Also, there were a sad moment. When he decline to take the Longclaw and said Jon to something like, the sword will serve the owner and protects your children and the after. Is that mean you decide your mind for Khaleesi? Serve her alone until the end of his life? Sad but cool, Jorah.

Daenerys: She is my queen. Emilia Clark became my favorite actress because of her. I love her and always look at her through the TV screen like Jorah.

First encounter of Daenerys and Jon was very tense. I know both of them are good person but they don’t know that, they don’t know each other, and they have different purposes. I felt very complicated when I watch that scene. When it’s normal “protagonist is don’t dead” story, Daenerys or Jon, one of them will be a villain. But it’s not. Many good people’s dead but these two are survived now and finally met. I felt complicated because of that situation I think. And that was enjoying moment.

But, my queen, you need to save one of your children from endless suffer. (I don’t know how wight’s feels but it’s beyond cruel.) Please save him.

Missandei: I always feel like I am a greedy bad soul when I look her pure smile.

Gray Worm: Go Gray Worm! You are the most awesome male in the GOT world! Go! I, like you! I like you! I know it’s the most ridiculous wish when I watching GOT but don’t die please! Ahhhhhhhh

Uncle Benjen: You are always a hero.

I hoping his come back since he were presumed dead early season. I always wait for him, and a wish comes true, then this. He is too perfect good guy and doesn’t fit in this GOT world. I’m angry. I love uncle Benjen.
