I might lose mutuals and other followers for this, but look, if you're going to act all "Woe is me my life sucks and I'm so lonely and sad and I have no friends or people who care about me and love me uwu boo hoo", I'm sorry, but if you're going to continue to act like that, no one is going to want to be around you.
You need to grow up and learn how to help yourself and move on. If you're going to therapy, that's good. But also know that even therapy can only do so much and in the end it's entirely up to what you wanna do for yourself for the better.
I understand everybody goes through a rough time. Hell my grandpa passed away not too long ago, and it's not only me who's still grieving. But we're not going to just sit and mope around going "woe is me" and try to have people feel sorry for us, or we feel sorry for ourselves. I also understand everyone grieves in their own way and all that, but if we keep being sorry for ourselves, we're just going to lose more and more people dear to us in life.
TL;DR
If you can't take care of yourself then you can't exactly take care of others.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
Stand up for yourself.
Better yourself.
Grow up.

I need you to understand that the very straight and immediate line from someone's very confident "I don't like mice/I've handled mice before so I know what they're like" to joyous wonder as they hold the first calm, friendly mouse they've ever held and murmur "they're so soft/sweet/warm/gentle" practically to themselves is basically a drug
"I work at a petstore," says the young man with much disdain, "so I don't really need to hold another one. I know what they're like."
"These aren't petstore mice," I say, as I turn my hand over and the mouse holds on tighter. "They're not like any mouse you've ever held," I say, as I close my hand gently around the mouse and flip her onto her back for a second so I can touch her mouth and demonstrate how difficult it would be to get one of my mice to bite.
"I'm sure you've handled them extensively from a very young age, though."
"They haven't been handled before today, except to be moved into clean cages." She arranges herself in my hand and cleans her face. "Are you sure you don't want to hold one?"
He opens his hands, and she pours from my hand into his like a viscous liquid. She is soft and warm and sweet, and his entire face lights up when she hunkers down onto his warm hand and closes her eyes.
"....She's changing my mind."
"They tend to do that when you leave it open."
He took her and two companions home.

Man I just love dressing crazy. Star-shaped eyeliner, jacket covered in bottle caps with smiley faces, bright pink glasses, piercings in my face. I thrive in the weird looks from strangers. I love being that person little kids think is a fairy and remember for years. I love giggling at myself while I make faces in the mirror.
To me, this is what it is to be punk. To make weird, messy art. To sing your crooked voice as loud as you can. To be the most beautiful ugly. To be that creature 8 year old you wrote stories about in their school notebooks. To be the greatest you you can be.
There is nobody on this Earth who can do you like you. So why not go out and be the best you the world's ever seen?

Necromancer cultivator Shen Yuan decides that since he transmigrated to PIDW and with those very particular skills, he can bring his favorite supporting characters back to life to talk to them and solve the mysterious plot holes of the shitty novel.
One thing leads to another, one person asks for a favor, and soon 90% of the Cang Qiong Sect has returned from the dead. Which is... fine. Somehow. Shen Yuan wanders around reviving people and making sure to revive them a couple more times if necessary.
Eventually, he revives Tianlang-jun and Su Xiyan. They have their difficulties at first, but nothing that some necessary and uncomfortable talks can't resolve. Shen Yuan is glad to finally know that part of the plot and see the happy couple re-emerge.
What he doesn't expect is that, well, these two parents of the protagonist adopt him. Something like that. They are responsible for him, they teach him, they help him, they educate him with demonic customs and martial skills, they take care of him. Shen Yuan also has to put up with their cloying public displays of affection or Su Xiyan dragging Tianlang-jun by the ears when he gets into trouble. It's fun and Shen Yuan finds himself enjoying his new life a little more.
So, obviously, Emperor Luo Binghe finds out.
A strange dark cultivator with an ability to bring the dead back to life. If that wasn't enough, that cultivator is living with a revived Heavenly Demon and a former Huan Hua cultivator, according to the rumours. He has almost completely revived the entire Cang Qiong Sect, who have scattered and hidden to avoid another death, disciples included. And Luo Binghe can't tolerate it.
So, he goes in search of that cultivator... Coming face to face with a woman whose face he knows well. Because for years, he has seen it in the mirror.
“Oh, so it’s you,” she says, her sharp gaze softening. “Yuan-er told us about you and said you would definitely come when you found out. You have grown so much.”
... This cultivator... had he revived his biological mother?
Luo Binghe doesn't understand anything, but he is led to an awkward and strange family dinner, meeting the young, bespectacled, dark-aura cultivator his parents have adopted as a puppy. He acts awkward and juvenile, nothing like the expectations Luo Binghe had placed on him. But oh well. His powers are impressive. He hides things behind hysterical laughter and apparently an impressive knowledge of the world around him, the history of Binghe and his past.
And Luo Binghe is going to discover everything.

the whole "if i had been with my friends, it would've been better, but they don't live in monaco" thing just makes me think of that clip of him and max f on stream discussing max moving to monaco, like lando making sure that max at least would still be around his friends and family and life and things. but then it's like. lando.. you're going to be alone. and this is worst case scenario for that!!

what kind/style of endbands do you usually do? they look so good 👀
hi!! sorry for taking a while to answer, I wanted to make sure I could give you my best answer.
I usually do what's called a "double core" endband. I use double core endbands over the "bead on front" method because bead on front style is not great for uneven distributions of color, irregular patterns, or using more than three colors. Functionally it works by having your extra threads wrapped up inside the thread that is showing, forming the smaller secondary core. Ultimately you are doing figure 8s around the main core & then your secondary core of thread. This keeps things pretty neat & tidy. The tutorial I first used was this one by DAS Bookbinding, though I don't think his endband tutorials are his best ones. Another binder I've spoken with endbands about a lot is maleeka, who recently did an endband tutorial herself.
maybe I should do one... but it takes a lot for me to get enough motivation to make videos. I'll take this opportunity to write up some tips I've shared when people ask instead:
1. Endband core material is the MOST IMPORTANT component. You need a core that is stiff but flexible - it should NOT be floppy because it wiggles everywhere under the tension of the thread, but still needs to flex with the opening & closing of the book. You want something that doesn't compress, to reduce tension shifts in thread creating a lumpy endband. Have a smooth core is less critical but helps to avoid snagging threads & allows you some leeway on sliding threads around for adjustments. My personal choice is smooth leather jewelers cord (link is just an example, I get mine from a local craft store).
2. Thread size. All your threads need to be the same size; it will be visible if you are using two different sizes, and mess with your front core. Additionally, I know lots of people will use larger twists of multiple strands of embroidery thread, which can work, but is more likely to compress & alter its size in unexpected ways. A single strand is preferable. If you want something thicker you can find some thread weights that are heavier twists intended to be used in a single strand, not pulled apart. I prefer smaller sizes because it works better for the gradient designs I like.
3. Silk thread is your friend (if you can spend the money on it). It reduces fuzz (no fuzz like you get with cotton/DMC embroidery thread), it's usually easier to manage, has a more compact twist, and a higher shine. I use Japanese silk hand sewing thread in size #9 (9号). There's multiple brands (Tire, Daruma, KNK/kanagawa, etc). Here's a wholesale listing (minimum 20,000¥ for international). A non-Japanese brand is Guterman silk (German brand). Both the Japanese & German threads come in a heavier weight (Japanese is #16, Guterman is buttonhole).
4. Thread tension is the most important part of the actual technique. You need to ensure the threads currently wrapped in the secondary core keep tension when you are working the thread around them.
5. Working on a curve. This is only really relevant if you're doing an endband on a rounded book, but the circumference of the curve means there's more real estate on the outside vs inside of the curve. Sometimes this can cause bunching on the secondary core. My own solution to this is that sometimes I wrap the primary core but drop a wrap here or there around the secondary core (only between two wraps of the same color I'm dropping). I uh... don't know of anyone currently recommending this besides myself so I can't point to any pro endorsement for this method, it's just what works for me. Forgive my terrible writing:

6. Pattern management. I... don't really plan much how my patterns sit on the spine, which is not very helpful. HOWEVER you can do some pattern management on the fly, if you really want your pattern to end at a certain place. Thread can be packed more or less densely on the core, resulting in some pattern compression; you could also strategically drop wraps in less noticeable locations. An unintended example: I was replicating the pattern on this endband (left) when I realize I wasn't packing the thread as densely as I had the first time around (right), which resulted in the overall pattern taking up more space. You can do this on purpose, if you need to.

this was way more than you asked but it gave me a chance to put all this in one spot. Best of luck in vanquishing the dreaded EndWyrms.

I have thoughts!
I doubt Izuku went eight years being Quirkless.
For one thing, after the Final War, he still had two years of high school left. I doubt all that time he used One For All continously when he have to focus on schoolwork and had more time to actually wind down since the major villains of the story have been dealt with. So there would be times he wouldn't have to use OFA like that.
Last chapter, we can see he still has OFA.
Tumblr media
I would say it would be more recently that he lost OFA.
Tumblr media
Note that here, Izuku says "recent times". This is just happening now that his class has reached their goals of what they wanted to accomplished. From Ochako and the others creating a program to help people to Mezo getting an award.
When this came...
Tumblr media
I figure this can interpreted as Aizawa asking about his Quirk and being a Hero on the field or just his time in school when everything was happening.
Tumblr media
Why some of the fandom took this as abandonment is beyond me. "We started working..."
Folks, Class A would be 24 - 25 years old... they would have just started to be Pro Heroes probably three years or later if you consider their "college years" would be the time they would be sidekicks and working to having their own agencies. Probably some of then even living together to save money and whatnot.
A teacher is fitting for Izuku as he is still encouraging others and it reflects even how All Might, his mentor, was one. He knows he'll be Quirkless again, a job as a teacher is ideal for him.
You need a bachelor's degree to be a teacher, which takes four years. So from probably age 18 to 22, Izuku worked for that degree to be a teacher. Meaning that time, he necessarily didn't have to use OFA, if he still had it. And he could have also been doing the sidekick thing on the side.
Present Mic is an example of a character who has multiple occupations, so I don't doubt that Izuku couldn't have done sidekick work and studies at the same time.
Therefore, he would have been a teacher for 3 years at the moment at this point.
Now, given that a school like UA exists, where they taught Heroics, business, engineering, etc. There could have been colleges like that. So class A could have went to the same college and still hung out, including Izuku.
Point is what I'm saying is, because of what Izuku's schedule may have looked like, I doubt he lost the embers of OFA that fast. Yes, he most definitely lost them, but like overnight? Yeah, no.
And him being abandoned? Some of you took a hold of the steering wheel and whipped it way too hard to the left. They definitely still talked. They just got busy with their jobs and hectic schedules.
"How dare they not tell Izuku about the project?!"
... IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE, HELLO?! Have none of you gotten something nice as a surprise before???

@hajunzi has stolen and plagiarized my original work for my playboy geto x reader series which was originally posted in 2022.
I don’t appreciate you stealing my work word for word and claiming it as your own, nor do I appreciate you lying by saying that it’s based on a true story of you and your ex boyfriend. It’s laughable, honestly and deeply sad that you would do this to another creator. I ask that you delete this piece as it is not your original work.
