It being Elon's favorite game (or at least one so important to him that his biographer dedicates a lot of time to it) is.....really really funny.

Basically, imagine Civilization, but as a mobile game. So like if Civilization Revolution was even more dumbed down (that's a Civilization insult. That's devastating. It's devastated right now). For what it's worth, it's not a bad game. On the contrary, from what I could tell in the little bit of time I played it, it's a perfectly competent game with good design. But it's not a deep game by any means. I played through it once, won easily on my first go, then saw that the other playable characters had barely any differences between them.

You can also freeze cheese! We tend to buy the blocks and then immediately grate it and throw it in the freezer! If you use it pretty often and don’t want to wait for it to melt on your pasta or put it in the microwave with nachos or something— have a small container with unfrozen cheese in the fridge! You can transfer some of frozen cheese over whenever it gets low! Honestly I just grab from the frozen containers tho.

If you’re freezing bread and worried about separating it, pre-cut loaves pretty easily come apart. And bagels just require ten to twenty seconds in the microwave!

You can bulk boil pasta whenever you want it and put the extra in containers in the fridge and freezer for when you need it next!

You can also freeze things like pancake mix in ice cube trays to take out and use immediately!

Bought some sweet frozen treat you’re worried you’ll eat ALL of before the week is done? Put it behind a ton of prep, bread etc.

The freezer is your friend :)

Here’s my take on the whole audio books vs. reading:

Oral tradition of storytelling predates written ones by millennias, and honestly, which one you like is just a personal preference.

The actual difference is

when listening, you have no idea how to write characters’ names

when reading, you have no idea how to pronounce characters’ names

It's honestly crazy that discussion around testosterone HRT skews so much towards the beginning stages of it (to the point that you have dozens of guys thinking their transition is "failed" if they don't pass by like a year in lol) and what the initial changes of the first couple of months to years look like, like the classic laundry list of those early basic changes like bottom growth, voice drop, etc, when IMO literally none of that compares remotely to the depth and intensity of the long term total masculinization you start to experience like 3-5+ years in.
