sometimes i remember that gojo wanted to tell geto “we’ll meet again, right?” just before he died but forced himself not to knowing it would have cursed him and then i start thinking about how kind and thoughtful gojo is as a character and how he hasn’t been able to lean on another human being since geto defected and then i want to . Scream

oh yeah, i think it's important to differentiate between the ideas of a "jewish ethnostate" and a "jewish homeland", as a jew myself especially --

of course we deserve a place where we feel safe, a place that puts emphasis on caring for us and not treating us like dirt. but that is not the same as a place that allows ONLY us to be there. (and we are talking about a mass of land, not an affinity club or anything -- we're talking about somewhere people live. who gets to be a part of it is not something you should be policing on lines of race or religion.) we have no right to lay claim to land and force other people out of it. we have no right to a jewish ethnostate.

"oh but if there are any non-jews in our land they'll treat us badly like they always have!!!" no, that's just cynical nonsense. if anything, you're letting the antisemites win by agreeing with the omnipresence of their bigotry. yes, tons of people have been horrible to us. that won't get better by running away from them and hurting other people in the process.

also, it is very worthy of note that jews and their ancestors have lived in palestine, for a great portion of history in fact, but were conquered multiple times by multiple empires and expelled to the diaspora. of course jews want to live in palestine! of course! but palestinians are just as indigenous to the land as we are -- we have absolutely NO right to kill them and kick them out and say it isn't their home (which is exactly what so many empires did to us, in the same land no less).

endorsing zionism and anti-palestinian rhetoric, as a jew, is hypocritical, cruel, and wrong. let palestine be free, as they (and we) deserve to be. they are facing the same terrors we have; let us stand with them.

Sat down whilst cleaning the house and now I can’t get up :(

#I mean I can but I’m tired #also ugh the washing machine has chosen today to get mold over everything #which is problematic because I need to clean bedsheets and then dry them for tomorrow #but now they are covered in mold #but thankfully I have a spare set I can use and my SIL has taken the now moldy sheets to her house to wash them there #so no huge crisis but I do have other stuff to wash #cleaning it for like the third time today #also I need to hoover but I’ll wait til everyone else has left so that they don’t dirty my floors #and I need to shower but that might have to wait til tomorrow #but I’m very sticky from sunscreen and also sweaty from work

my classmates will go thru 6 hours of class the day after a long excursion through the countryside and then just get up and go run around in town for hours going to movies and shopping and whatever and I'm just sitting here like Aren't you all exhausted . Aren't you all sore and pained. Where are you getting this energy. Can we calm down

#if nothing else this trip has really opened my eyes to how much chronic pain/fatigue does impact my life compared to others #i dunno I guess I just never really noticed. but I just don't have the energy other people do. Not even close. Not even a little bit #I go through a day of class and relish in the thought of spending the rest of my day resting because the agony in my legs #and the unbearable tiredness I feel just beckons me to collapse into bed #but everyone else is just so . energized. and ready to explore. and wanting to run all over the place and do 1 million things all the time #and this is normal? this is how normal people are? Because I'm the only one out of my entire class who seems to be the opposite #everyone just has so much energy. and I Do Not have that energy. thinking abt how much of my life i’ve lost to depression and i truly want to throw up

#day to day doesn’t feel like much but. oh no it’s been like fully a decade #i wish therapy wasn’t so expensive #bc for a while i was on meds (that. didn’t do much tbh.) but that made me feel like i was Treating It so i was making progress #spoiler alert it did not. and now the fact that i’ve wasted so much of my life is making it worse #bc everyone else i know has like. lives and people in them #and i pretty much just have my parents. and my mom is also going through it #i have relied SO much on them and that also feels bad!!! feels like i’ve taken advantage of them!!!!!#i know people talk about how much it messes w your memory but i figured it was short term bc the days all blend together #i literally had a moment yesterday where i forgot i went to college at all #the whole thing feels like a missed opportunity bc i didn’t do anything i wanted to really #i was too afraid to go to clubs that looked interesting. i didn’t think practically abt what i was studying #i mostly didn’t have roommates but when i did i was Bad At It #i managed to go through the whole time only speaking to like. three people #so you can see how it’s kind of. completely forgettable #i have worked jobs bc it’s a paycheck. never really enjoyed them never really made friends (even tho now i’m kicking myself for not keeping #in touch with some people) but i have always kept a very strong work/life division even in school #because i was there to do a Specific Thing so that’s all that matters yknow #anyway. sometimes i DO wish i could go back to high school bc even tho it sucked. it was structured #and i had resources and more time to try things and like. a life outside of my computer. a little bit #yknow. i feel like people have more sympathy if you’re anxious abt everything and never gone outside #when you’re 16 as opposed to 25

Shoutout to me and the one other person who actually adores Willow's breakdown in ftf but isn't a huntlow fan

#like everyone ik hates that scene or doesnt like it #and to that I say fair enough but you don't know them like I do dont let the straight bait aspect get to you this is actually so much for #Willow's character arc #the reason it had to be hunter is because he is the only person who has never seen her at a weak point #hunters serious treatment of her as his iron willed captain is huge for her #she's gotten what she's wanted she's been taken seriously and she earned Hunter’s respect fully on her own #when he had no qualms against being brutally honest with her #were it anyone else telling her she can let out her emotions just by themselves it wouldn't be enough #because to willow that sounds like you go back to the way things were before #also its like one of the few disabled hunter moments we get #Luz is the only other person besides the two of them who experienced this particular form of ableism #and Luz has a wholly different experience with it as a human #and a lot more going on rn #Willow getting that validation from the one source she wouldn't expect it and desperately needs it isnt about shipping to me #the shippers cant have this one #random rambles bc i refuse to argue with haters on discord they have the right to be haters i love u haters

i would love to know how much furina actually knows/finds out about focalors' grand plan post-archon quest. i would love to know what hers and neuvillette's first conversation is when she decides to leave the palais mermonia, not knowing that he had this whole conversation with focalors about her and then came into his true power. i would love to know if furina is actually aware that her hydro vision came from neuvillette himself
