Btw the reason everything is "washed out" in the screenshot below is the hard to miss portal emitting cold light behind the characters.

The feel here is that what people mean by "washed out" is actually "cool toned". Which tends to be a thing when there is a huge light source emitting white/blue light in the scene. It’s done on purpose. As you can see clearly from the screenshot of Flora in a more neutral/warm light such as daylight, the jacket doesn’t have spots that tend to light blue and the dress doesn’t have spots that tend to off-white.

Have a one minute edit where I simply dragged the "temperature" setting about 40% towards the warm side.

#sketch #my art #shigaraki tomura #flowey #wanderer #scaramouche #otto apocalypse #I won't tag fandoms themselves since this is a mess #but this mess really describes what is going on in my head for past couple of months #this is hyperfixation pile #I can talk without rest about those four or at least could when it comes to wanderer #there's simply not enough stuff to talk about #Otto or Luocha too #Flowey and Tomura on the other hand somehow make the simplest stuff seem interesting #like... idk how many times I've talked about ch 235-237 they're just...#anyway it's a month old sketch that I finished just now #and I actually revisited all of those stories at least a little #forgot to color the phone in Tomura's hands but it actually looks better uncolored #fanart #in my head if you try to mix Wanderer with Tomura the latter will just do the same thing he did with Overhaul #which is showing that he is way stronger still #or something like that #Flowey is just chilling and so does Otto #as long as one does't annoy the other they're all chilling #but running is still the best option since all of them are highly dangerous #and would probably make an awful team since 3 out of 4 think that they are the important one of the team #while Otto is the one doing all the stuff while watching them fight #he's literally the voice of reason here and it's REALLY bad if that's the case #he's a great teacher and mentor but his life choices are still questionable #still better than afo for Tomura but eerily similar

I'm feeling so positive about how my relationship with g-d has been developing - they say that many religious people are happy specifically because of religion, and I think I get where they're coming from. I've been able to seek out gratitude much more than I have before, and while I'm still profoundly mentally ill (lol), having a relationship with g-d has been much better for me than something like a gratitude journal, which never works for me. It's amazing just how much judaism fulfills and enriches my life, and I just want to share that joy with as many people as possible

Some people do kinda suck but I find a lot of joy in giving people really specifics compliments at my job and it makes their whole day sometimes c: 💛

#I had a very enthusiastic conversation about a lady’s hair and the way it was cut #she cut it herself!#I often like to tell some women that their purse is very nice and they’re usually very proud of their purses I’ve found #I will tell some people sometimes that the color of their shirt is so fitting for their skin tone and was a great choice that day #I expressed once to a customer that I loved the prints of his shirts and he came by one day in this one particular shirt #hoping I’d be there apparently because he wanted me to see the shirt because I love his style!#it’s so nice #I had a lady blushing once from head to toe because I said she looks like the perfect example of a woman #that face every artist draws for that reference #she was so beautiful #haha I like compliments on men’s facial hair too!#they’re proud of their facial hair a lot of the time #even soemthing as simple as they look amazing for their age which I’ve said many many times #like I said some people suck and I have yet to truly meet the bad eggs but man I just really like seeing them light up #when you compliment the littlest things they put hardly any effort into and think maybe nobody will even notice #I like pointing out those things

#A great episode tbh especially given the low budget. I feel like they really did their very best #And even though what I'm going to say next is probably going to be all critic - because I nitpick things and that's what I always end up–#talking about - I still want to underline that it was a very solid and enjoyable episode!!!#Alright the ss/kk was so 💞💞💞 every scene I had to rewatch twice or thrice akhscbashfb they're so cute!!!#Except for the riding scene tho. That scene gives me massive second hand embarrassment every time I just wish it will end as fast as–#possible pffttt. Mmmmhhh... The drawings weren't even too bad all accounted. My main complain is about the quicksand scene...#I feel like that one should be a slow quiet emotional scene. I never licked the choice of using the song as background soundtrack :/#I feel like it ruins the mood of the scene (it was still good though)#I also... Generally don't like the direction they seem to go for with Akutagawa's character in the anime‚ he seems quite a bit flatter–#compared to how he is in the manga. He can't be angry and evil ALL the time you need to show that softness get through from time to time.#If not what even is the point of his character. Yet in the anime he's angry (and not distraught) when he loses the mine craft and he's–#angry when he's questioning Atsushi about his motifs and he's angry when he's bragging about Atsushi's abilities to Goncharov and he's–#angry when he makes the promise with Atsushi at the end of the episode and eventually he'll be just as angry even when telling Atsushi–#to run away as he's sacrificing his life for him. It is pretty flat at the end of the day.#If I can say something about K/ensho Ono without being killed I think they do contribute to making him feel angry all the time.#But that said it's all probably poor directing choices (or simply choices I don't agree with).#Also‚ about cuts. Usually I try to be lenient about it– I understand it's hard to fit in everything and b/sd already does a very–#good job by adapting the manga almost panel-by panel. It's just that... You skip Akutagawa showing compassion for Atsushi after the–#orphanage director died. You skip Atsushi sharing the same compassion when Akutagawa loses his targed in the mines chase. You skip the–#“Nothing special about that. // I suppose he's far crueler than my own mentor.” line. And sure each of them may be negligible by their own #But together they wave a consistent web of relationship between the two characters you know? And it's a loss to omit them all #Well no mind. Again it was still a great episode overall!!!!#I think the colors in the mines could have been prettier in the mines but we can't have it all #Off to season 4!!! Omg I can't believe we got this far :DDD #random rambles #FINALLY was able to catch up in time for the season 3 finale!!!!!!

#like arrfgggdiakaktmcksmsama this was literally all for me like they knew what they were doing #i love character design i love pokemon i love miku. and then you put ALL THREE TOGETHER....#i will explain some of my choices here #poison miku is just too good but also i am a big sucker for freaky scientists with constant “worry” eyebrows #her design is just so out there and crazy (this is about the shoes. some understand the greatness of the shoes and some dont. and thats ok.)#every other miku in peak i think establishes their theme exeptionally well especially ghost bug and fighting #for ghost i already love spooky and gloomy looking characters and that miku delivers tenfold (of course shes designed by the GOAT take)#esp with the mix of ghostly and electronic/digital regarding the glitchy parts n the 01 hologram #she looks like shell invade my computer and give it a virus if i dont send the chainmail about her tragic file corruption to 10 friends #(in the best way possible)#for bug miku the big dress is a huge plus but also i just think shes adorable nuff said #for fighting - i love a delinquent character and she fits that really well. the half coat thing is a big highlight for me #also the leek theme is absolutely iconic #for the ones i didnt like as much - i honestly just think the koraidon one is a leeeeetle bit boring #dont get me wrong. it has really cool aspects like the hair and the koraidon like cape but idk #it feels like theres a lot going on but not that much at the same time? its still a really nice design tho esp the hair color #for the ones in yellow tier - i just dont like the color palletes very much . theyre still really nice designs esp fire miku #but all in all these are genuinely all amazing designs and i dont want to be too critical or mean to any of them esp seeing im not a pro #but this was really fun to see unfold!!! cant wait until the songs start dropping #in the topic of miku as well - hey muse dash where's my miku on the switch version....#please dont make us wait too long ��🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

the only 'negative opinion' i have abt dunmeshi anime so far is abt like color choices/palettes just not being the bestest but thats something i actually think is also not a strong suite of dungeon meshi The Manga, its always been something ive been disappointed by when i see something colored and im like damn thats kinda basic to me sorry :( but color choices in stories dont need to speak to me personally i dont care. i can go watch promare. i do expect the color usage might become a little better as the story progresses in the anime but again like i dont know if ppl have just .. not noticed that this criticism of the anime also applies to the source material

#im ngl i was disappointed when i saw like falins dragon form colors lol #ryoko kuis character design and worldbuilding is sharp and great enough to stand on its own #but it does look better without colors to me #bcuz a lot of her color choices just dont do a lot for me personally and thats like. fine. its whatever #trigger might actually be able to fill in where theres a lack here in the future. the colors arent bad in the anime #but theyre about consistent with the manga. which isnt my favorite #dungeon meshi

#in this drawing i wanted to use the song ‘Square’ by Mitski #personally i feel like this song is about being in love and trying far too hard to be the perfect lover that you are incapable of being #to me it’s like trying to see where you fit in that person’s life and not knowing where you belong in it #but then you’re still longing for that feeling of belonging there with them #so you self-destructively go to great lengths to ‘earn’ your place with them #i feel that the self-destructive behavior of trying to be that perfect lover just to ‘earn’ their love #is exactly the ‘burning’ that Mitski describes #it hurts trying to fit in but not quite succeeding again and again and again...#this is something that i think i relate to #trying far too hard to belong with someone who is 'only sometimes madly in love with me'#and says that i 'wouldn't be their first choice'#-that person kept switching between wanting me as a friend and a lover and now i am neither #and yet therein lies the problem: if i cared less and gave less effort #perhaps we could’ve worked things out without me trying too hard to “earn” their love #but why would i ever try to care less?#the situation was doomed from the start and i lost a friend in the process #i made this illustration to reflect that the best i could. I think the square motif was particularly obvious—#the canvas itself is a square and the illustration itself has to fit in a square box #everything else i drew would have to fit within this box to maintain the “order”#the colors are all some type of blue with not too much contrast except for the text eyes and teardrop on the figure #i wanted to keep contrast low within this illustration— everything should be “fitting in" after all #for the figure itself i wanted it to be clear that the figure is being forced into that square #its body’s being forced into that half of the box and even then its head is forced downwards #it’s clearly not fitting comfortably but it’s sure trying its hardest to #also also also!!! i wanted to do more angular shapes with this drawing because square and whatever lol :P #i don’t think i was particularly obvious in communicating that in the drawing though #but anyways i just wanted to draw to help process something that happened to me a while back :0 #i still think i love that person but just like how i don’t have a place in their life #i don’t think they have a place in mine and i think i’m starting to make peace with that :D #jaevyart
