Jungle May 2

Here is some more of May as a Jungle Girl, just like her manga counterpart; Sapphire Birch. Sometimes, she appears like this in @grantgfan’s Godzilla series; Godzilla The Kaiju King. As for how she ended up this way, she was captured and experimented on by scientists of an evil organization called the Backdraft Group. She managed to escape alive but her mental health was severely deteriorated due to the constant experimentations and torture she was subjected to. However, she was under threat of being captured again until Amanda and (Kiryu-Goji) Godzilla found and saved her. After that, Max, Norman and Caroline (grateful that May was found) had a very very hard time with getting the feral May under control. But that changed when Ash showed and gave True Love’s Kiss to May. That did the trick as it brought May’s mind and mental state back to normal she became her normal self again.

Despite her mind and mental state were reverted to normal thanks to True Love’s Kiss from Ash, May sometimes shows up as a jungle girl whenever Seto Kaiba is around, as she’s fully aware of the Backdraft Group organization and she appears as a jungle girl to remain in cover and not attract unwanted attention to avoid being captured. As a jungle girl (like her manga counterpart), May is agile, swift, savage and energetic like a leopard or cheeta. Her fingernails and toenails are shaped like claws and can be used as claws. As well as offense and speed, Jungle May is also excellent in camouflage, using the same camouflage technique that her manga counterpart used… when Sapphire saved Ruby and when he mistook her for a talking Pokémon.

yet again so pretty but so difficult! I think it’s because of the jackets collar getting in the way of her hair that makes it so hard for me :/

ya girl now has a full time job that’s been taking up a lot of time :0 my hyper focus of Pokémon and twst dwindled during this time as I found my long hours was making me more tired and generally upset (seeing as I now work an average of about 8-12 hours every day)

but after some yapping with my coworkers, one of which is also into Pokémon like me, the Pokémon fixation is back in business! tomorrow is another day off for me, so I hope to crank out a few chapters of The Very Best as an apology for being absent here, as I have a few chapters pre-written they just need to be fixed up a bit

I apologize for being so absent but hopefully I can make it up to you guys!

For the record, this is only openings that I watched as the episodes were airing, and thus, the songs that I have the most connection to. I started watching subs around Be An Arrow, so from there, it's exclusively the Japanese themes while before then is exclusively English. (I like a lot of the older Japanese themes like Mezase Pokemon Master, Advance Adventure, and Together, but I only listened to them long after their series had completed. Most of the English themes today are too short/bland imo, and it would be unfair to compare them to their Japanese counterparts.)

I thought they'd never surpass the old, iconic English OP as my #1, but then we got XYZ and that usurped it and surely nothing could be better, and then we got the beauty of an opening that was Halo.

I can't help but sing along with the Getta Ban Ban 😂😅 Same with Mirai Connection.

AG has very good dub themes, I just wish we had gotten a long version of This Dream (there's an old fan one I like) and I Wanna Be a Hero.

Despite being one of my favorite series, DP has generally mid dub opening themes. I actually like BW's English OPs more, especially the full version of its first OP.

I like 1-2-3, but despite it getting several remixes, I was pretty bored of it by the end of Journeys. I'm glad we moved onto getting a new OP per season with HZ. Still a great song tho.
