Some fun little doodles about baby Tommy & wilbur for my Desert Duo (eventual Scarian) superheroes comic. These kids are weirdly centric to the main plot.

So here's the situation; Grian and Phil are brothers, Pearl & Jimmy are their cousins, Phil & Kristen are married, and their two sons are Wilbur and Tommy. Techno and Phil have become very close, but Techno is in denial and still refers to himself as "Phil's coworker."

All that being said,, try not to get too attached to Phil & Wilbur because they don't exactly stick around rip

Nothing Satisfies Me But Your Soul

Her heels echoed throughout the halls, the only sound in the entire building that was too silent for way too long. She didn't hurry down the halls, no, she took her time as she approached her destination.

Where her visitor was waiting for her.

She crouched down to their level and smiled through the veil of her hat. "It seems like you took my words for granted. Look at what happened to you, if only you had seen past your hubris things would be different."

With a flick of her fingers, an object appeared from thin air in her hands. "You notice this? This will be the deciding factor for the trajectory of your life. Now all I need is...." She grabbed the crown from their head and slowly took it off, putting it on the scale and began to speak:

"Scales decide based on their life, if they were a person who did wrong or did right. The blood on their hands the good things they have done, show me what they did under the moon and sun. Depending on what they've done or seen; heaven or hell is where they will be,"

The woman watched the scales as the instrument seemed to hover in the middle for a few seconds before tipping to one side; the woman listened as the sound of a bell echoed through the cell and a red light glowed from the scale.

The woman smiled sinisterly before turning back to look at her guest, who was pale, quiet, and immobile. "The scales have shown that you committed bad things, and it's been decided that I should take you to hell to live out the punishment decided for you."

"Doesn't that sound wonderful, Mister Sam?" ***

I was inspired after watching an explanation video of the miniseries of The Fall of the House of Usher and Verna is a character that immediately intrigued me. I love stories where they take the concept of death and create a character that interprets death to a certain degree. So I decided to write about Lady Death aka Kristen.

Why is Sam dead? In this story Dream never shows up to Pandora's Vault and Sam and loses all three of his canon lives to suicide attempts and starvation.

for all his life, phil has been followed by crows, the murder growing every year. at the age of about twenty five, he has quite the following of crows, cawing away. as annoying as they can be, he's grown to recognise them and care about them.

until there's a new one.

these crows have always been carrions - the same type of crow hybrid he is. but, in a rather unexpected twist of fate, there's a rook constantly trailing behind him.

kristin, however, has always had rooks, corresponding with her own hybrid traits. recently, she's noticed that she's missing a crow. that is, until a carrion makes its way into the murder.

phil and kristin have known of each other for years, but have never properly met. their crows have, and are certain that it's a match made in heaven and are trying their very hardest to set the two up.
