i hate it when ppl act like some of us are crazy for even considering the possibility of tae having ulterior motives for name-dropping jungkook constantly. especially with how frequently he does it and how painfully silent jungkook is in comparison.

they're always like "do you think tae knows how the fandom works and how shippers act?" it's not crazy to assume that he does. we're talking about the same man who sent jimin the fan art that made jimin get that moon phase tattoo on his back. that tweet wasn't even viral on army twt until tae confessed on live that he sent it to jimin. so yeah, the man obviously lurks in army spaces.

all the members do, namjoon just recently referenced army's "bts chapter two might not be so bad after all" in suchwita during a conversation about shirtless jungkook for CK. yoongi mentions jimin all the time. jimin mentions hobi, jin, namjoon and yoongi mostly because he knows that army will love to hear tidbits about the members’ current dynamics and he knows that his relationship with the previously mentioned members won't generate any negative reactions, unlike with taekook, where he doesn't mention them much unless directly asked about them. they know what the fandom's in and outs are. they might not know how bad it sometimes gets with shippers but they're 100% aware that shippers are lunatics who get mad at certain members (jimin) for the sake of ships.

dare i even say that jimin might be keeping his distance from the fandom lately because he knows exactly what type of freaks are out to get him online and in person? they leaked his mail last year ffs, and ever since jimin has built up walls around himself that he will possibly never lower again.

the members talk amongst each other about the fandom, they said it. they said that every conversation about their activities and their future always involves army. they always consider our reactions for anything they do. the company knows exactly which ships are popular and they try to push those (yoonmin, namjin, taekook). there's even a whole running joke in the fandom about bighit always stealing and copying army's ideas, they have staff that lurks and reports back about the inside dynamics and doings of the fandom. it's business 101. studying your audience.

so back to taehyung not knowing how tkkrs act; i firmly disagree. his audience mostly consists of taekookers and he knows it because whenever he comes online they're the ones who hog him the most. and i believe he's definitely aware how far they take the taekook ship, and who's their chosen #1 enemy; but he simply doesn't care. maybe he already discussed it with jimin himself and jimin told him to do whatever he wants and not blame himself for what the shippers say because jimin himself isn't allowing the hate to get to him by blocking them out. out of sight out of mind kind of thing. so maybe taehyung does what he believes is best for him, after making sure both jungkook and jimin are okay with it, and just doesn't wait around to see the chaos that unfolds. the way you choose to interpret his actions all boils down to what type of person you think he is.

my personal impression of taehyung is that he's a troll, he's reckless, impulsive, and he does what he likes/speaks his mind even if others disagree with it or misunderstand it. like him not stopping to greet fans at the airport, which was considered rude, but he did what he saw was best for his safety. or how he sometimes jokes with armys in a way that he be seen as offensive but he does it because he thinks of armys as his best friends. he even admitted to doing fan service before because he knows that armys will like it (when he kissed jin's cheek in run bts), so he's aware of the power of the ships that involve him. if he knows fans will like seeing him kiss jin on the cheek because they ship them, so he knows that fans like seeing taekook interactions as well; that's why he never keeps a taekook irl moment to himself and always comes online—even if for a minute—to let us know. to give the fans what they want (feeding them) and keep himself in the fandom's good graces. he's been doing it so much lately and it's definitely for a reason. jungkook is not the only member he meets, i'm sure of that. but he still only mentions jungkook. he tried giving us a vmin moment recently and we all know how much the fandom has been whining about the lack of vmin lately. i think he knew that, and he tried giving us something. but jimin arrived earlier and didn't wait for him, so.. it makes you wonder why he's targeting those two specific audiences (taekookers + vminers) and why does he so desperately want to be kept in their good graces (especially taekookers)...

he also knows that armys don't like blackpink and are fighting blinks all the time, and thus he's afraid about us knowing that he's dating jennie, so he deflects by mentioning jungkook because that's what his fans want to hear.

the bottom line is, i need people to stop acting like taehyung is some clueless child who doesn't know his audience and what they like to see. cause they're underestimating his intelligence. he's not a maliciously manipulative kind of guy, but he does love to troll. the problem is that his trolling has much bigger consequences than he might possibly comprehend and it's gonna backfire horribly solely on him in the future.

First of all, I want to say that my issues with Tae come from being a fan of Jimin, not a believer of Jikook. To me Tae has never, will never and doesn't pose a threat to Jikook. Even before I loved Jimin, believed in Jikook, and knew all their names, I just didn't vibe with Tae (and a few others). I don't hate them at all, they are just not my type of people.

Also, my views and anon's views are fan's perspectives. We speak of what we see. Like anon said, maybe Tae, Jimin, and Jk are all cool with it and laugh at all this or maybe there is some tension there and hate each other. We don't know because all we have is the fan perspective. What is visible to us.

With that being said, I think the anons perspective is valid. Everything you said is something I agree with, anon.

It would be nice if people could act like adults and treat BTS as adults. BTS calls us out for the immature comments and stuff so I find it fair to call them out too. Besides, they are not infallible...as we have seen.

Tae is aware that his actions rile up his shippers (all his different types) and knows does what he needs to do in order to get his ship trending and therfore keep his supporters. But to be fair, I don't know if he is aware of much hate is created by riling up the delusionals. I don't think Tae is a bad guy. But there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is doing all this thinking from a business perspective and to protect his relationship with Jennie...I mean, what kind of protection is that? but ok.

But here is the thing anon, if we measure Tae's actions with this "ruler", then we have to measure all the members with the same ruler. This includes scrutinizing Jungkook's fanservice with Tae too and how that has contributed to the Jimin hate train. But no one wants to talk about that. I've yet to encounter anyone treating this topic fairly.

And that's why I think most (if not, all?) Jikookers won't openly talk about Tae's way of feeding his ship and his fan service galore or at least in a fair manner.

But yeah. People should stop acting like Tae is a clueless child...and all the members are clueless children.

I see y'all seem to think that for some reason the show runs on the whole "protagonists and antagonists can't be flawed" cause for some reason most character fixated salters get some weird ass hateboner for dragging characters through the dirt with their salt. Like guys, we get it, you don't like characters with flaws or layers and it sure as hell shows through y'all's art, fics and reviews. And the worst part about this is that in the content you create, you constantly either replace their good qualities on a character you want to amplify bc they're your go-to martyr (I.E. alya's good qualities going to chloe (or some occasions lila and to the person who uses this trope constantly You Know Exactly Who You Are.) and making her lila's lackey or taking Adrien's good qualities and implementing them onto luka and then making adrien a harrasser and abusive. Like what are y'all on. You know full well that this isn't true so why do y'all do it. And don't give me the bs about "canon divergence" cause that does not apply in any shape or form to what y'all do. that trope literally means au and what y'all do constantly aren't aus, they're needless character bashing and my god, i have almost a whole list of salters who constantly try and say this bs, like you don't get the gist of it at all. Most of the time all y'all do is cry and whine about how the show isn't going the way y'all want and i'm like, "but that's how a show is supposed to go?" i'm all for making jokes/roasts about my fave character, or villain aus, but the way y'all do it isn't in good fun or lightheartedness it's deadass just malicious intent all the fucking time from the thinly veiled racism to the watering down of abuse, bc when ppl make those fun aus y'all seem to think they're salt because that's all y'all do everytime a new ep comes out, just needless bashing no one except salters partake in unless it's thinly disguised so even unwitting ppl get sucked into it.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Cloud typically puts his pride first, but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to find ways to be affectionate in his own little ways. It can be as simple as complimenting your achievements, how you fight, what you wear. It’s small and usually made from observation, but he can go a little more beyond, thanks to this female friends. That vase of flowers left on the table for you? He won’t mention it if you don’t, but small gestures will be found throughout your house as the seasons go by.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Cloud is the typical introvert being roped in by extroverts. He’s not sure how he becomes friends with them, but it ends up happening one way or another. 

Your friendship isn’t admirable in any way, shape, or form, most likely the type that is long-distance and sparse. But when you come to meet face-to-face again, it’s like time hasn’t left. He’ll continue to be the same person as he’s always been, quiet, a bit cold, but he’s got some kindness hidden in there somewhere. 

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Cloud is so touch starved in his later years he’ll crave it, but he’s not going to ask for it. Again, pride is a big thing for him. But when you’re together for a while, and start to get the little hints he drops in your relationship, you can crawl right underneath his arm late at night and the smallest of smiles will appear. 

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Cloud doesn’t mind the idea of settling down, but his past comes to creep on him in the worst times of his life. He’s on edge constantly, and losing the people he loves made him terrified of moving on in a relationship. There has to be trust, lots of trust.

Cleaning wise, Cloud is a messy person. He’s the type that takes something out and doesn’t put it back. Books, weapons, food. He’ll claim it’s because he’s still using it, but three days later the items will still be in the same place he left them.

With cooking, Cloud has trouble. It’s not something he’s done very well at any time. He dreams of being able to taste his mother’s cooking again, but he can never get the concept of patience and love for the craft. Everything he eats is almost always pre-made or bought in advance. 

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

As disappointing as it sounds, he wouldn’t say anything about it. He’d just plain leave, never call you back, never come see you again. He’s afraid to watch your face break down, the sadness, and it’s better for him to just take off without another word.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

To put it forward, Cloud has commitment issues. Trauma tends to affect people in a lot of different ways, and in Cloud, it has everything to do with becoming close to those he may lose. So when he’s in a relationship it’s always on the rocks for him. When could he possibly lose you too would always come to his mind.

Cloud is also not the type to get married if he has something to say about it. Not for a very long time at least. Again, trust comes into play. How long have you known one another? How long have you been intimate? These questions will certainly rise if either of you ever think of marriage. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Cloud is far more gentle than the others. He tends to get hints on whether you prefer his more delicate nature, and he knows when to be nice and quiet with you, everything soft and fleeting if you give off that energy. Emotionally, he tends to be much more mushy, simply because he’s got a lot of baggage and having someone listen to his problems eases those burdens from his shoulders. But don’t worry, his rough personality is still there. 

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Hugs are odd for him. Physical touch in any form is strange, and if you hug him he’ll jut stand there awkward until you part.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It’s a matter on how well his commitment issues have been talked through. He regrets not saying it more often to those he does care for, but it doesn’t force him to say it to those that are still with him. It’s a constant internal struggle he faces. 

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Cloud’s jealousy is pretty high compared to others. He’s not in any way dominant, but he is protective over what he loves. And sometimes it can go as far as rudely commenting or insulting the people involved. He’s quiet, but not that quiet.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Cloud’s kisses are usually soft, compatible with his softer personality. His favorite spots to be kissed are, funny enough, the more mundane and playful areas. He melts at the idea of you lips coming to give him a kiss upon his cheek while he’s asleep or working, at the most random of times. His favorite spot to kiss you happens to be on your forehead. It’s simple and sweet.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

With his experience with Marlene and Denzel, it’s not all bad. He’s still has a bit or his more rough, awkward personality when he’s around children he doesn’t know to well, but it’s not terrible. He can deal with them, and perhaps even play games with them if it leads there.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Cloud’s morning is all over the place. He doesn’t understand what a routine is and every morning will start differently at all hours of the day. His favorite morning traditions however, is when you catch him peacefully sleeping, and you crawl a little closer to him. It’s always a surprise when he wakes up shortly after.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

When he’s back home, his nights are spent quietly unwinding. Showering, unpacking, cleaning his weaponry as the Midgar news plays in the background.  It’s usually spent alone, but you’re free to come and join him if you wish.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He lives his life as an enigma and won’t admittedly tell you everything in one move. His life will come to you in bits and pieces and personal conversations if he trusts you enough with delicate information. But don’t be alarmed if he keeps them to himself, it’s a lot of baggage to carry, and having your sympathy will do nothing for him.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He has patience, just not a lot. He gets irritated over the conflicts continually arising in Midgar, but you never see him angry simply because he knows anger will feast in him much like it did Sephiroth. 

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers a large chunk of information. Just not everything. Sometimes he drifts in and out of conversation and he won’t remember a thing you said, other times he’s like a hawk. Every detail is stuck in his head. It just depends on what he’s talking about and how invested he’s in.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Cloud tends to like the more domesticated aspects of his life. When he’s home, spending time with those he cares for. It halts the impeding doom resting in his soul for a short period of time.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Cloud is protective. Again, trauma does things to people, and in Cloud’s case it’s the idea he has to protect everyone around him, and sometimes going as far as protecting them from himself. He thinks his existence is what causes these deaths, and he’ll go as far as leaving you, because in his mind, it’s how he’s keeping you safe.

Cloud also wants to be more emotionally protected. It’s not your job, but having you there to talk about those problems will make him more secure.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

His ideas are much more calm and small. It’s never these big events or parties, very secluded and intimate if it’s about an anniversary or a date. Simple is his goal.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Leaving things everywhere. He’s messy. Constantly pulling things out and never putting them back where he found it. Looking for a specific book? Good luck. Cloud could have pulled it out of the bookshelf weeks ago and now forgot where he stuck it. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Cloud’s appearance isn’t important per se, but he cares what he wears when it comes to fighting and being comfortable. He also likes things in patterns or set in a theme. How many people do you know that has wolf themed earrings, phone charms, metal work and clothing that matches? 

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He most definitely would. Anyone he lost would be like another stab in his heart, and every day would be a constant reminder of what happened. Whether it be how you simply left, or died, it’s going to hurt him in more ways then one. 

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Yeah, I totally get the fact that questions about sequel/epilogue mean that people crave more of that what I created. It is a compliment. And some of those requests are actually really heart-gripping.

But it hits a very wrong vein when the only thing you hear from a reviewer after 21 chapters and a year of publishing is ‘I want MOar”. No comments on the previous parts of work, no sharing their impressions, no sense of companionship on that very long road, nothing... Just a demand at the very end. Had those comments come from the people that discussed the fic with me and been around all the time, I would have treated them completely differently.

But more importantly, I’m just sad that people don’t see beauty in the ending I created. Because I created it with full consciousness and purposely just like that. And it is beautiful in my eyes. Pity that it apparently is not in eyes of others.

And: every work needs an ending. Ending makes it whole. I strongly believe that TLOS would have lost on quality if I had some mundane Stone-Age-happy-ever-after mush as chapter 22.

No worries, I 100% understand what you’re saying, anon. I have a bit of a hectic life right now and my updating schedule is very sparse (though I try to stick with the Thursday/Saturday updates). In a way I’m somewhat thankful for complaints because it means that people are still waiting for certain series and it pushes me to work on them but at the same time they can get overbearing (especially ones that are more of demands than complaints). Also that wasn’t an invitation to demand an update to certain series.

But really, thank you, anon! Yeah, I definitely understand the part where I don’t update as frequently as I should, that’s definitely a problem on my part that I have to fix. To date I’ve only finished two series (Zemblanity and 23 Days of NCT and that last one isn’t technically a series). Whereas TSTL is almost done and the others have a ways to go. I’m definitely thankful for those who are patient with me no doubt, I’m really only writing for the fun of it so it’s nice to see people appreciate along the way. But otherwise yes, if you don’t want to wait while I’m writing then wait for it to be finished. All of my series are capped at 10 chapters (if that helps) and I’m tired of seeing rude asks that ask me to update a certain series or to not update another (I got a lot of these in my previous blog and it’s one of the reasons why I moved to this blog). Honestly my problem is that with so many series I’m working on there are times where I draw blanks for one but get bursts of inspiration for another so it’s all muddled (which I know is hardly an excuse). One promise I’ll make is that I won’t start a new series until all of the ones I have right now are finished.

Every time i go on there i see ppl just hating on someone for having an opinion, not listening to a song, or saying that a member is being mistreated. I already said that I am a person who simply writes and writes. The topic of pregnancy is something that really moves me personally. I have already worked with many pregnant women and I have to say honestly, I can't wait to get pregnant myself and have a big family. I also write this story because it's in my head all the time. I might be weird - yes ... but it’s my dream. And as I said, the Jaemin and Miga thing have only been described from one side. We all don't know what Jaemin feels.

I don't think it's a problem of age either, some do, but everyone is individual. I don't see the comments as rude either. None of them. I just feel very uncomfortable when people read my story and feel uncomfortable. That was never my intention.

As I said, sometimes I don't worry about the plot. I write at least an hour of this story every day and there are ideas that come to me, be it when I take the subway, do laundry and so on. Sometimes things come across differently because I only read them once. I just write what I feel and what comes to my mind. So it simply reflects a lot of my experiences, social constructions, and ideas of life. So this story is almost more personal than another FF I've written.

For this reason, I decided to pause it. Simply to ask myself the question if I write it in such a way that I will also be able to cope with the reaction. I didn't have these thoughts before.

Ultimately, I don't want anons to blame each other here. I can see meaning in every message. I'm happy to share this passion with you. I may also take things too much to heart, but that's okay. I had to reckon with that. But I’m also okay if ppl say it’s too much and stop reading it. But we will see anyway how this story will go on.

Part 1 - All about BTS 

Question 1: What is the meaning behind your username?

Well, I’ve been using this username for a long time now on pretty much, everywhere that is the internet if i’m being honest. Don’t know anymore where it came from, kind of already shows my kpop fan self, although I thought of it before even knowing of k-pop at all. So, yes a random asian-ish name, kind of oc character thingy, don’t know. (was kindalinehyorin for a while but a girl couldnt read her handwriting so, it got changed out of nowhere, hyorin is a queen though!)

Question 2: What got you into BTS and why?

 Well, long story short around the time blood sweat & tears came out, somehow the song was everywhere I was, so after ignoring it since I’m the type to ignore popular things. Then after skipping it some more bc of the death of Jonghyun, and the mood it set to the whole k-pop world. I finally got into it one summer and there was no going back.

Question 3: Explain why you like your bias

Oh, geez this will be long af... also ironic how @euphoriajjkook ‘s bias is the same as mine oh well. When I was watching compilations early on, I loved all of the members until I saw the clip of Tae & Jungkook sneeze on each other and I was very done and knew that I just love both of those dorks. But usually I say Jungkook is my bias, love his smile, personality, voice and just whole being. Like don’t you get me started on this human...

Question 4: Who are your bias wreckers? Has any of them come close to becoming your bias?

Now, this is where I could write a whole post... Let’s just say that I can’t possibly choose between Tae and Jungkook, so I would say both biases, but if I can’t then I’ll make Tae a bias wrecker. But in reality my bias wrecker is Min Yoongi himself (it shows on my blog lol) and yes he did come close to becoming my bias not that long ago... Jungkook is my bias he can’t take that place, I mean he shouldn’t but he could.. I’ll just stop!
