I've been reading the translated novel version of S-Classes That I Raised, and I remember when I was first reading the webcomic version I was curious about why the ship with Yoojin and Hyunjae was so much more popular than any other ship, since I hadn't gotten very far in yet. I mean, I've been saying that since Season one, but some people want to argue that Jayce was not forced into anything (As if that's not how manipulation works.) Sure doesn't help that she's older.

Okay, hold it right there. 😌 I didn't fight this hard to prove Jayce's innocence so that you guys can demonise Mel. She's a product of her upbringing, okay? Her mother, bless her heart, sucks with love. Controlling Jayce was what Mel thought would keep him safe from harm, and it did help his business flourish...at the cost of his morals.

And the scene where Jayce argues with her in Season 2, everyone keeps misinterpreting what was happening there.

He's not upset cause he got manipulated (okay he's partly upset about that) but he's more upset that she saved him. So he's trying to figure out.....why? Why him? If he was truly nothing more than a tool, then why had she saved him? What was he to her? What more did she want from him?

"You used me AND Viktor." Is not him saying she doesn't care, but he's asking why he was prioritsed over Viktor, when he cannot function without his partner. If she really wanted to keep using them, then why had she not saved Viktor? Or had she thought he was the only one worth keeping?

As much as I love the scene that came right after that, I really wished they'd finished their conversation. Cause Jayce just pushed it aside and focused on what he had to do to save Viktor now, and it was like they just let the entire conversation drop.

He felt so confused and unsure and traumatised. And I feel sorry for him.

2024 Winter TCA Portraits

it's been so long since i did a sith obi-wan au so like - how about an au where the sith are almost as established as the jedi (a temple, an order, followers numbering in the hundreds/thousands) but things are a bit more diplomatic in the galaxy (it's definitely tense but not all out war just yet)

so both the sith and jedi orders are alerted to a new rising power in the outer rim.....on tatooine of all places. a slave rebellion, led by shmi skywalker, has toppled the hutts. it's said that this new leader, queen of tatooine, has the Force's favor....but more importantly than that, shmi skywalker is a new galactic player, with a lot of money and a lot of support.....and a son of marriageable age.

cue both the jedi and the sith sending a delegation to tatooine - ostensibly to nurture galactic relations between their orders and the new power, but also to lowkey seduce shmi skywalker's son into marriage/a relationship because everyone knows that a parent's heart follows their children's happiness.

sith!obi-wan aka darth solence is selected to lead the sith seduction attempt. he's pretty confident - after all, he's led hundreds of seduction missions at this point, and he'd suffer a thousand different humiliations for the sake of the order of the sith who took him in after the jedi sent him to the agricorps.

the only problem is that he arrives on tatooine and shmi skywalker's son, anakin, is the most bland, boring, two-dimensional boy to ever breathe. he's completely uninterested in politics, in history, in the Force---he'd rather talk about pod-racing and--and Coruscanti daytime holo shows than anything of actual interest!

good thing the prince's manservant, kitster, is almost always hanging around. he's wrong about many things, obi-wan finds, but he's passionate. passionate and beautiful. oh, he loves pod-racing just as much as the prince, but he's fascinated by the Force and ready to tear obi-wan's eyes out over a passing negative observation on a droid. and did obi-wan mention that he's beautiful? with his golden curls and sky blue eyes and fierce scowl and broad shoulders and prominent eyebrows and even more prominent lips? the sith, as a general rule, appreciate passion, anger. beauty. obi-wan adores them as well.

but kitster the man servant isn't the person obi-wan has been flown to tatooine to seduce--he's duty-bound to seduce prince anakin. even if being around him feels like pulling his teeth out with rusty pliers.

if only obi-wan knew that shmi skywalker is more suspicious about the galaxy than she lets on. more protective of her son, too. if only he knew that her son, anakin, had a best friend growing up named kitster, who owed them both just enough life-debts to convince him to trade places with shmi's son for the length of the delegations' visit.

it's an easy sell after all -- who doesn't want to be a prince for a few weeks, no harm done?

Reader being so excited to go on a lil Date with Alastor, having learned little tidbits in French to woo him... But there are tricky things called double entendre!

(went with 'cher' when referring to one another... Is there a gender neutral alternative to cher/chérie? Asking for an Enby ;;-;;) Short snack below!

On your little walk together, you couldn't help yourself. As you head towards a little diner, you grasp Alastor's arm tightly, saying,"Je suis excité, cher!" in the sweetest, most bubbly tone. Only now, Alastor's face was painted a deep, beet red. When you pester him, he keeps brushing you off, trying not to laugh.

When the both of you finally settle in a booth inside, with your respective drinks, you feel giddy all over again. Quickly, you say that you're excited again (you think) in French. Alastor just grabs your hand, trying not to stare too intently. And teasingly, he drawls out, eyelids lowered," Ouiii~?"

You happily agree, just as food arrives. As your date at the diner goes off without a hitch, you still have NO idea why Alastor seems to be holding back laughs. Was it your accent? Was it the way you spoke? Surely, you practiced your French well enough to get it right!

But regardless of your racing thoughts, you both have a great time, not a care in the world! Maybe your French practice seemed to pay off after all...

On the way to the next location, you feel a little warm, shuddering beside Alastor. You start to take off your jacket, sighing in relief. While giving him a casual side glance, you say," Ugggh, Alastor, je suis chaud! Aren't you?"

And then, not a moment later, the two of you are teleported via shadows into an alleyway. Alastor simply clicks his tongue at you, hands on his hips. You're left very confused when Alastor pins you against the wall, gently pressing you against the cool brick building.

"You have no idea what you're saying to me, do you?" Alastor teases, his eyes never once leaving yours.

Still oblivious, you repeat yourself," Je suis chaud! Chaud!! I'm hot, Alastor!"

A kiss to your cheek, before a nip is placed at your jawline," Dear, that would be J'ai chaud... You said that you were... 'hot'; bothered..."

Alastor can only grin as he keeps kissing down your neck, reveling in your squirming," That's not what I meant! Honestly-- Ahh! Alastor--!!!"

Alastor places a deep kiss to the junction of your neck and shoulder, suckling to elicit a moan. When he's successful, he pulls off of you with a wet 'pop'. He glances over your pestering, continuing his exploits.

"Je suis excité... That would mean I'm horny, cher..."

Alastor levels you with a look that could make any person cave in. A taloned hand comes to your jaw, cradling your face as you're forced to look up to him.

"So what is it then... Are you 'excited' now?" Alastor purrs, leaving your mind blank and throat dry. You sputter for a moment, unsure if an alleyway is a great place for a romp. But, it was quite rare to see Alastor worked up like this... Inadvertantly, your French did have an affect on him.

You bite your lip regardless of your thoughts, nodding feverishly,"...O...Oui..." When Alastor brings you closer, your body flush against his, his intentions are made crystal clear.

"Alors ferme tes yeux et laisse-moi t'embrasser, cher~"

Did you know what that meant? No.

Did you hope it was permission to fuck you? He didn't need it, it was already granted.

You decided to not pester him about the phrase for now, opting to use your mouth to woo Alastor in a different way...
