Amy and Sheldon in their HP merch through the seasons. Amy is a Hufflepuff (confirmed 2 times) and Sheldon is a Gryffindor (confirmed 3 times). I think it's a nice touch that the writers didn't go "their nerds lol their obvs Ravenclaws".

I think it sort of fits? Amy is very unpretentious and loyal, Sheldon has a kind of bravado about him. Both have, in each their own way, a strong sense of fairness. It's a small detail, but I like that they don't get reduced to their intellect.

Proposing that Amy is better off as the Mum Friend is just as worse as accusing of her as a yandere stalker or even being called useless because you’re not creating an Amy that is fun and entertaining nor adding things that makes me want to look forward to the direction her character is being taken to.

You’re just creating an Amy that is insufferable to watch at best and making me turn away from this version of Amy at worst.

It’s absolutely wild to me that authors I respect and whose work I love consider me a friend?

If the sonic cast played amogus

Sonic- talks over everyone every meeting and never listens unless he already agreed. Gets way too excited to kill as imposter and always gets caught

Tails- watched Way Too Much among us youtube content and has memorized optimal paths and strategies, but it all flies over everyone’s head but Eggman. Never loses as imposter unless someone notices he isn’t talking in meetings

Knuckles- greatly enjoys doing tasks, but always gives away to the group when he dies because he yells in VC. Doesn’t know what’s happening in meetings but if someone accuses him they better not

Amy- ultimate marinating machine, somehow can convince everyone she’s everywhere all at once. Always gets voted by sonic for “sus”

Shadow- if he joins, he tries to find as many ways to frame sonic as possible so he gets votes every round. If he gets imposter he just hides in vents until people walk past, and doesn’t move much otherwise

Rouge- very good until she starts talking. Shadow recognizes her “I’m lying to get my way” voice immediately and will call her out of sonic is already ejected.

Eggman- tries to convince them to play with mods, succeeded once but it was too complicated for knuckles so they just went back to normal. Usually dies first

Sage- understands the entirety of possibilities for every round, but still somehow can’t figure out when any of them are imposter somehow?? She blames Sonic’s existence

Cream- doesn’t fully grasp the concept but loves dressing up the little beans and walking around. Shadow puppy guards her and never kills her if he’s imposter

Cheese- gamer extraordinaire, literally a god at amogus. Plays with eggman’s modded among us server (it’s just Eggman, cheese, Sage, metal, orbot, cubot, and whichever various badniks eggman drags into the VC)

Surge- chaos agent, but plays by the rules. has broken phones over being voted out.

Kit- just watches surge play silently

Oh my gosh, the episode where Sheldon spends quality time with Bernadette was SO CUTE - and I don't even really like Bernadette as a character! He was so sweet and tender with her, and he designed a whole D&D campaign so that she could role play herself enjoying things she couldn't because of being pregnant. I feel like my heart was just bursting with how sweet and utterly thoughtful that was. Sheldon is absolutely pure in every way. 🥰 Which makes me want to talk about how this show treats Sheldon. It is like they kind of go back and forth between him being an actual complex character vs the weird man-child who everyone shits on. (By the way, Sheldon isn't a man-child, Leonard, Howard, and Raj ARE man-children...*ahem!*) After Sheldon and Amy have gotten back together, I feel like they've kind of reverted him back to the latter, although not every episode, thankfully. I absolutely LOVED the Sheldon birthday episode where Amy tries to celebrate him, and it causes him to have a trauma response from his childhood. Beautiful - as in beautiful character work from all involved! I don't like that they've kind of looped Amy in on the "let's shit on Sheldon" campaign at times. Like, of course I love that Amy is his foil - constantly challenging him, taking the time to explain situations to him to let him know when he is being inconsiderate and rude, and not giving into all of his unreasonable demands (which everyone else does WAY too often! Grow a backbone, guys!). That's all good! Yet, I feel like they've made Amy a little too mean to him at times. It is feeling out of character to me how much Amy is exhausted and annoyed at Sheldon. Sometimes I'm like, she does enjoy spending time with him right?? RIGHT??? I mean, I get it. Sheldon is A LOT, but it is SO obvious - to me any way - when Sheldon is being genuinely himself vs just being a jackass. I know Amy's love language is very different from Sheldon's, but I think Amy would be understanding and acknowledging Sheldon's love language, because she's incredibly smart, a neuroscientist, and is head over heels in love with Sheldon! Also, that there is nothing wrong with how passionate Sheldon is about things: contracts, trains, fun facts - I think he's so adorable. I kind of miss weird little Amy who could match Sheldon in his idiosyncrasies. She does still manifest, but not as much as she did earlier on. I feel like the writers believe that in order for Amy and Sheldon to work, one of them had to be the "normal one". I absolutely disagree with that.
