#bringing back one of my best pieces of the year which is also one of the first pieces of this year lmao#few comments on this i dont think i ever mentioned: the choice of drawing before scenarios kdj in all black and all covered up was#obviously on purpose. i didnt want to give him any white#to separate him from his during orv version but also to make him more similar to yjh#which worked cos a lot of ppl thought it was him#so thats a point for me!#this was inspired by saint michael vanquishing satan by raphael#no particular reason for why saint michael not this time#also he doesnt have any horns despite having his wings because they just didnt look right in the compo with the wing placement#so i just didnt put them <3 become ungovernable#the wings arent as big as id like them to be but bigger ruined compo so!#thats all........i think

kim dokja is the patron saint of the shitty job. any job youve ever had that you hated he was right there with you. hate your bad customer service job? kim dokja is rolling his eyes at annoying customers with you. hate your shitty warehouse job? kim dokja is next to you and his back hurts just as bad dont worry. hate your torturous office job? well that one goes without saying. at any point you can envision kim dokja next to you, glancing longingly at the clock and encouraging you to take a 20 minute shit so you can read webnovels on the toilet. and i think thats beautiful.

this is a controversial opinion and I’m not a gamer but I don’t need my graphics to be that good. I don’t need to see every individual feather on a bird. my poor computer doesn’t deserve to carry that weight either.
#it also makes games incredibly heavy for no reason because lets be real all that is giving nothing to ur game#is the incredible realism in your models making it so the game is more enjoyable? does it Add anyhting to your game?#it doesnt for most games#the impressiveness of it is only going to work on poeple for the first 2 minutes#if your game sucks it will still suck even if your character model has 300k polys#maybe have some real art direction going on#i refuse to learn how to model realistically id rather not have a job#hand painted textures are my world. whatever . fuck ur pores.
