i was REALLY surprised i hadnt seen anyone animate over anything from the prevenge script reading yet, so i took matters into my own hands. i thought this bit was hilarious

#transformers #maccadam #tailgate #ultra magnus #mtmte #lip syncing is actually a lot more fun than i expected #but tailgate's mask probably saved me like eight hours lmao #speaking of him i'm REALLY happy with how expressive he ended up being #i really didn't expect that kind of deformation to mesh well with the... uh... mesh.#so i was pleasantly surprised when it turned out as great as it did #mags' model was hard to figure out because he is SO FREAKING INCONSISTENT IN THE COMICS #but that also meant i got to cherry pick the features i liked best/that were simplest to model so... still a win #tailgate's blissfully consistent tho. his hood thing gave me a lot of trouble but i managed #this is my first time working with a lot of geometric shapes so i ran into a lot of road blocks but i did it!! yay!!

#my art #furry #anthro #monster #dragon #oc #not my own but nevertheless #these characters are all lots of fun....thank you everyone for giving me cool guys to draw #also BIG things coming (said for the sixth time over the course of the year)#anyway i went apple picking for the last time this year recently which pretty much brings scrumping season to an end #here's a review: blackberries EARLY. annoyingly early but they were okay. greengages amazing. brings a tear to my eye #cherries SUCKED. cherries do better next year. grapes i'm still harvesting actually but doing well. sweet #and apples kind of popped off!!! year of the ugly apple this year - the beautiful red ones were worse than the scabruous pimply brown ones #which were crisp and had thin skin and a beautiful sweet-mellow-nutty taste...wonderful

#for context uhmm how do i explain this #so around a few weeks after Jd arrives Bruce is like “Hey... where are the others?”#and Jd is like “ooooh 🤪🤪 he doesnt know...”#Since at this time JD believes that the entire tribe is dead. including his brothers and grandma #so Jd has to take Bruce to the now abandoned troll tree and give him the bad news #Bruce doesnt believe it at first. even if the tree is abandoned they cant be dead? right?? they cant be #so he rushes over to their grandma's pod. thinking that theyre just in hiding and waiting for them to return #and all Bruce is able to find in the empty pod is Branch's old stuffed toy Croco #which solidifies to Bruce that everyone is dead. their friends their family. everyone #Bruce is obviously devastated by the news. he doesnt show it a lot but he doesnt take it too well #he ends up bringing Croco with him back to Vacay Island and patches Croco up #since Croco is a bit worn out due to being left in the pod for years #and since then Bruce always keeps Croco hidden in his hair. both as a memoir of his baby brother #and also a reminder of how he failed as an older brother... ouch #ofc the others arent dead. its just that now both Jd AND Bruce believe that the rest of the trolls are dead #also King Trollex is there bc i wanted to put him there. realised yesterday just how often hozier actually used to sing about being not quite alive, not feeling like a person, about loving someone in a way that defies death and made him more alive, about suffering death for love. it's like he was constantly being buried underground and unearthed by love, over and over, which, while romantic in a way, is also incredibly sad. but i think it's interesting how his latest album (literally called 'unreal unearth') takes this idea and makes it its central theme. that's what this album is, one man's descent into the underworld. except, crucially, he makes it to the other side, and ends the album saying the darkness will come again, but this time he is "never going back [to hell] again." it feels like such a full-circle moment considering the rest of his discography and i'm so very excited to see what comes after this

#idk he might go back to being buried and unalive but maybe this is really the end of that...#when he was singing his most popular non album songs during the concert yesterday i was like huh he really does #sing about death a lot. interesting #hozier #it was great btw! he sang abstract and francesca AND jackie and wilson and cherry wine and movement #so all my favourites basically #and hearing take me to church live was actually such a slay which i was not expecting #and he talked abt gaza which i was so happy abt and was very grateful towards his band and crew #just a great night all around #jasmine has thoughts #i knew it was a lot bc that's kind of his reputation (boo) but i didnt realise how much it actually is

More ability forms, this time for Banette! (ft phantump)

@n0rtist started this amazing challenge! Please go check out the plethora of amazing art for these forms!

Some banettes are formed from dolls that have music boxes inside of them. Their pull string is damaged, and can never retract fully, causing the music box to play discordant music forever. These banettes can never rest properly and are constantly exhausted, sitting slumped in corners with limp arms. They are also the most aggressive due to their lack of sleep, willing to lash out viciously at the slightest misstep. Forever plagued by insomnia, these banettes have deep purple eye bags.

Since many banettes are found in long-forgotten places, they must be able to hunt for berries and items to survive. These banettes grow long fingers to search in every crevice they come across, and have a zippered pouch on their stomach for storing their finds. In battle, these banettes are particularly adept at frisking their opponents to find items that they have hidden.

Very rarely, a banette with the "cursed body" ability can be found. During their time as a doll, these banettes were the sworn protectors of the child that owned them. Having failed in their duty, they were filled with enough rage to come to life as a pokemon. Forever the loyal guardian, this banette will stay by the side of its child, even when they too become a pokemon, having met an unfortunate end deep within the woods. It will not fail again.

Phantumps change abilities with the seasons. In winter, they lose their leaves and gain "frisk" to help them find food. In spring, they grow flowers and gain "natural cure". In summer and fall, they grow leaves and berries, gaining the "harvest" ability.

Most phantumps have white flower petals in the spring. However, there is an old story about cherry blossoms, about how the petals turn pink after absorbing blood...
