loves doing it if they're working at something and he's wanting attention

you know that thing dad's do where they pretend to lick their hand and then try to gross you out by putting said hand in your space? well he does that too

his favorite thing to do that always gets his s/o rolling their eyes is when they ask him for help with something such as opening a pickle jar, and he dramatically flexes his muscles while wagging his brow, stating that if they wanted to see him at work, all they had to do was ask

will also purposely man spread where ever they're seated so his s/o is basically forced to sit either between his lap or on it

Raphaels messing around is always in good fun, and he knows when enough is enough, even if your death glare is the cutest thing he's ever seen

Donatello:

his favorite way of annoying his s/o is honestly so adorable that it's hard for his s/o to stay mad about it for very long

his s/o will ask him for something like a snack, and before they can grab it from his hand he quickly holds it up above his head

will wink and state they have to pay the bae toll first, and despite all their groaning, his s/o will tip toe to give him a sweet kiss

will sometimes place things in a high place so his s/o has to ask him to get it, but more often than not they know he purposely placed it there and will try to jungle gym their way up to get it

he'll stand to the side with a smug smirk and ask them if they're sure they don't need his help, finding their determination to get whatever object themselves very adorable

whether or not they say yes, he's always read to catch them if they happen to slip or fall, in which case he'll hold off on putting their stuff high up for a while

Michelangelo:

most the time when he feels like annoying his s/o it's because he's either bored, wants attention, or both

his favorite way of doing so is playing the "gravity game", much to his s/o's dismay

Mikey will locate his s/o to find them keeling over some work that can honestly wait a day or two to be done, and if he can't bribe them to step away for a break with cuddles, he'll let out the biggest sigh, an indication of what he's got planned

his s/o will shoot him a knowing glare and tell him he better not, but it's too late, Mikey has already trudged his way over to where they're seated or standing and groans loudly about how heavy the Earth is, practically leaning all of his weight onto his flustered s/o

won't put his entire weight into it because he obviously doesn't want to crush them, but Mikey also won't let up till his s/o agrees to finally take a break and spend some time with him, to which he will act victorious and act suddenly weightless as he practically floats off with his blushing s/o for some quality time

Raphael

Pros:

Considering the sheer size of this magnificent creature, the hugs and cuddles you get are beyond comparison. There's nothing quite like starting/ending your day by being wrapped up in those glorious green muscles.

Is deliberately gentle due to his immense strength and has a great amount of self-restraint in his physicality when interacting with you, even when he gets wildly excited. Such as any time you visit him in the lair and he barrels towards you. It seems like it'll be a harsh impact and then he stops at the last second to avoid knocking you over. Adorable.

Never have to worry about being in danger with him around. This big lug will make sure you're in safe hands no matter the location, no matter the time of day.

Raph is unabashedly tender and kind. He'll be hesitant to say anything hurtful towards you and as such is careful with his words, especially when it comes to criticisms.

Cons:

May get slightly overbearing with how protective he is. He isn't being inherently controlling and his heart is in the right place but you wish he wouldn't worry so much, as sweet as it is.

Need to be careful leaving him alone for too long given his risk for going into savage mode. Can come across as rather clingy because of this.

Much like certain disagreements he has with his brothers, he sometimes has a hard time admitting when he's wrong. However, it's never usually about anything too serious but it can cause it's strains.

Leonardo

Pros:

Always knows how to make you laugh and tries his best to do such when you're feeling down. Some of his jokes are admittedly pretty terrible but you can't deny the fact that even the bad ones coax a smile out of you.

Enjoys spontaneity. Even if you're the type of person that struggles with getting out there or knowing what to do for the day, Leo always has something under his sleeve. Just call him the master of fun.

Whilst he's a jovial character, that doesn't mean he can't have his more serious moments, nor is he always completely blind-sighted to things if they seem too good to be true. Sure, he gets you two into shenanigans but he'll have your back if things seem awry.

Has also been shown to try to reconcile his mistakes and be sympathetic towards your plights, especially if he ends up being the cause of them. It may take him a moment or two to figure it out but he always finds a way to make right by you for his mistakes.

Cons:

Has an almost incessant need for attention and can come across as quite conceited. You find that he prioritises his own entertainment, so planning dates can often feel one-sided and uneven in mutual enjoyment.

Doesn't always know how to take things seriously, which can lead to your fair share of arguments.

Is known to be a compulsive liar and will engage in frequent fibbing when he worries about getting into trouble with you. With this, Leo can be disingenuous as it is not unusual for his charisma to take the form of false flattery just to get into someone’s good graces. Having become aware of this, it's sometimes difficult to take his compliments towards you as true.

Donatello

Pros:

Treats you like the absolute royalty you are. Being his loved one, he makes a point of giving the treatment he feels that you deserve. Whether that be programming S.H.E.L.D.O.N to give you special attention or hiding the last pizza box for you to share, he always makes you feel like number one.

Is always willing to help you out, no matter the issue. Donnie is a problem solver, at the end of the day, and will work on a solution to aid you. No job is too big or too small.

He is all about gestures of grandiose proportions, loving the dramatics as much as he himself is dramatic. His aptitude for being extravagant means that birthdays, Christmases, and anniversaries are often met with awe-inspiring displays of affection.

While he perceives himself as being emotionless, in reality, he is far from it. It isn't uncommon for him to become irritated, such as when he doesn't feel as though others listen to or appreciate his intelligence. That's why it means the world when he opens up to you about his transgressions.

Cons:

Unintentionally has a habit of being condescending or patronising towards you. You are aware that he is highly intelligent and that you won't always know the answer to something, but he needs to keep in mind that he isn't right about everything.

When he gets absorbed in his work, it's as though the entire world around him ceases to exist. This means that getting his attention can be difficult and often times you are left waiting until he's finished.

Despite his openness with you, your genuine adoration of his abilities isn't always met with gratitude. He longs for such praise but it carries more weight if it comes from respective elders. This unintentionally has you feeling irrelevant or that your opinion doesn't matter.

Michelangelo

Pros:

Makes killer meals for you. There doesn't have to be a special occasion for him to get passionately creative in the kitchen for you. He always goes all out to make sure your pallet is satisfied.

Best believe he encourages you to add some colour to your wardrobe and helps you pick out outfits. He's supportive of your choices and loves any excuse for a good fashion show.

He absolutely hates being dishonest to those he loves most and best believe that includes you. One might view it as a con but the fact that he dislikes lying means you never have to worry about him hiding something from you. It does make surprise birthday parties difficult to hide but you win some, you lose some.

Mikey is an intuitive family man and wants to keep you and everyone on good terms with one another. He acts as a brilliant mediator, keeping things fair and unbiased when assisting in such resolves.

Cons:

Sometimes he's a bit brash with conversations that involve telling you about particular problems. You appreciate the irony of 'Dr. Delicate Touch' but that persona is in dire need of a name change.

Being the youngest of his brothers, he may have certain complexes where doing tasks or upholding responsibilities are concerned. Even if it's obvious that something requires an extra pair of hands, he may refuse your help because of his need to prove himself.

Is easily frightened and often retreats into his shell instead of confronting the threat. This includes any challenges that may come from you, as well. You appreciate his fear of conflicts but he can't always hide away when something important needs to be discussed.

At the end of the day, no one is perfect. Far from it, in fact, but you take each other for what you are. As long as you're both happy and know how to have constructive conversations about glaring issues, there isn't anything to worry about <3

OH. OKAY. I HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS.

I'm still gonna try to keep it brief but woooooooo here I go! Spoilers below!

Okay, so biggest thing I picked up from this lesson was that Solomon's soul is not in his body. Right? Right?? Everybody else got that, too, right!??! Tell me I'm not insane. More on this later.

So we spent the whole lesson in Babel, where apparently you get to have a "moment of bliss" where stuff happens that makes you incredibly happy.

It starts out with everybody telling Asmo how they really feel about him, which is of course that he's beautiful and kind.

Then everybody ends up in TSL cosplay and Levi info dumps for several speech bubbles. (It's pretty adorable aldksjf.)

Then a ton of cats show up and Satan loses his mind. (But the cats also cuddle with everybody else because Satan's happiest when he sees cats cuddling with his family, the two things he loves in one place~)

Then everybody disappears because Mammon's moment of bliss is to be alone with MC (he's so bbg I can't take it). (Oh but I do feel the need to mention that everybody else was still there, they were just invisible which is SUPER CREEPY. Like c'mon MC was having such a cute moment with their first man...)

And THEN a bunch of food shows up and we think it's Beel's moment of bliss, but it's actually Belphie's because the twins are so close that Belphie is happiest when Beel is happy.

And then it like reverses and we have Belphie napping and all the boys in angel outfits, but it's actually Beel's moment. And they talk about this time they remember Raphael unleashing his spears on Mammon in the CR. And like then they feel guilty 'cause Satan doesn't have those memories but then:

Satan saw everything from inside Lucifer? CONFIRMED. And Lucifer was aware of it, too.

And then everybody's like what was Lucifer's moment of bliss? And they're dumb about it, but MC is like Lucifer's moment of bliss was this entire experience because he's happiest when his family is happy. D'AWW very precious but also kinda meh, imo.

Then Raphael comes back, but it's really him this time yay!

And THAT is when we find out that only your SOUL is transported to Babel. Everybody's physical body was left behind.

And I was IMMEDIATELY like oh. So THAT is why Solomon couldn't go inside. His soul is elsewhere. I don't think he's soulless, I think he's immortal because his soul is being stored somewhere that isn't his body. THOUGH it would also be interesting if Nightbringer was like... Solomon's soul gone rogue al;kjdsfjdf. But I don't think that's the case.

I think they're using this as a way to explain why people so often say that Solomon is more like a demon. Even though we also got this:

Hmm. Indeed. Solomon is NOT a demon. They were mad at him for not mentioning the thing about only your soul going into Babel.

Anyway, that's my theory and it's the only thing that makes sense to me though I have no idea what it has to do with anything.

I also thought it was interesting that Raphael is now part of the Brothers No More chat group with Simeon and Lucifer. I hope this means we'll get more of him!

And then this from the hard lesson because wow I hope this isn't just No 2 exaggerating.

Anyway, there were plenty of cute family moments in this lesson, but the potential hint about Solomon was the biggest deal, imo. What does it mean? I could be misinterpreting and maybe that isn't the issue at all? Maybe it's like... there's something wrong with his soul and removing it from his body would either expose something about him that he doesn't want the others to know or would like harm it further and put his life in danger? I dunno. He is still immortal, so.

My first thought was soul is elsewhere, but I do think having it like... reveal something about him unexpectedly would be interesting, too, now that I'm thinking about it.

Due to me having a massive crush on Dia and Beel I slowly had my feelings converted to friends since though I am a slut I am a loyal slut. So I did have romantic feelings/crush beforehand but my feelings became stronger.

Mammon: Ofc the poor boy is smitten but since it's with both me and my sister he has feelings for both. I absolutely adore him and if I didn't want dia and beel so bad he would be next in line. But I do also find him a great friend.

Levi: Lmao okay the little hate is because I cannot stand the way he talks I have stated this before but that's really it. Otherwise I think he'd be a great friend because I do enjoy anime and totally would play video games with 24/7. I do not find myself dating him and view him as only a friend. Though sadly I feel like he'd gain a crush on me with how often I'd be around him.

Satan: Don't get me wrong he is hot and all but not that much my type (doesn't like blondes). We would be great friends I feel like since we have bad anger issues to fix together. Again I feel like he would like me slowly because I love to piss off Lucifer and can relate to him.

Asmos: Now I have like zero romantic interest in him. So I would like being friends since I do enjoy makeup and skincare. Because I enjoy some angst I feel like he would gain a crush on me but I would have to push him away and let him see me actively love after someone else knowing I am not doing it on purpose.

Beel: straight up in love with him. Everything he does makes me smile and make my heart hurt. I feel like even though it's hard for him to speak of his emotions he would be heavily in love with me too. I adore family and would do anything for them along with being strong on my beliefs and opinions. I also often self sacrifice because I care for others too much. (I swear I am not trying to be a pick me I just see qualities the brothers would like about me and they would push feelings too far with them😭)

Belphie: of this little slut has a crush on me he is constantly up my ass and very protective whenever someone else touches me (not beel). I would definitely have a crush since I like protective men. Tho again my feelings for his brother would overpower that. I would absolutely love him as a friend because starting shit is so much fun and I adore sleeping.

Raphael: surprise! I don't fully hate him anymore! He's grown a bit on me since I can see he does care a little but I still get irritated by him. I feel like he wouldn't care much for my existence and tolerate me when I am around but not fully hate me.

Meso: dear God his attitude in the game gets me furious. I will definitely butt heads with him and constantly argue. But I do feel like at a calming point we'd be a little bit of friends in that time.

13: my beloved wife I want to marry her. It'd be the classic wlw troupe of best friends who have secret feelings for each other that everyone can see but them.

Simeon: he's sexy to me and actually very sweet so I would have a tiny crush on him. That would soon turn to friends due to others but it would be like me and him raising luke basically. Which would lead to him liking me since he'd love me as Luke's (mom).

Dia: I am in love need to marry immediately. He is such a sweetheart that if I'd tell him slightly that I like him he would go off the rails and do anything in his power to come after me. (Id love it)

Barb: again belongs to my sister so no romance. We would enjoy tea and peace and quiet. Kinda like two older siblings finally getting a break together 🤣.

Luke: I would treat him like my little brother or son because he's so cute I wouldn't be able to resist. I'd be aiming for an older sister role but he most likely won't see me as that and more motherly.

Please do not take this as me being a pick me this is my take on how things would be like in my world/au of Obey Me and it could end in many different ways that I can write about if you'd like.

Leo ended up with the Daimyo, probably stumbling through a natural portal or something like that. He basically takes one look at this tiny turtle tot and is like "oh sweet, free child."

Ue, his son, was about the same age as Leo so he figured they'd get along great.

Not so much.

Pretty much since day one, Ue sees Leo as a rival to compete against. It didn't matter what it was; tutors, combat training, board games, Ue had to be better at it than Leo.

it was a very onesided rivalry, with Leo not really understanding why and, therefore, trying not to engage whenever he was being particularly combative. His thought process being "if i don't give him the attention when he's bragging, he won't brag anymore." Which...doesn't work.

Leo reunites with Splinter when he's six.

Splinter gets invited to the battle nexus for the first time, and decides to go, maybe asking people there if they had lead on his sons. The Daimyo singles Splinter out b/c he recognized his fighting style from Hamato Yoshi, and wanted to ask him about it. They talk for a while before both Leo and Ue run into the room for some reason.

Leo recognizes him instantly, calling him by the same name he used when he was tiny (I think he might call him Chichi, which is a Japanese term for father. From what i understand, it's not a term usually used directly at one's father, more if you're talking about them to someone, but it's really cute and, honestly, i doubt Splinter had much of a understanding of Japanese anyways. So he very well could have just picked up that term and went "ah yes. my new turtles sons should be able to pronounce that." and just went with it. it also gives me the vibes of like a rodent chittering, which would be another positive in the 'rat dad should be called this' column. lol)

But yeah, he instantly recognizes splinter and before Splinter can comprehend what is going on, he's got his arms full of a bawling turtle tot son.

After everyone's calmed down, it's essentially decided that Leo will stay with the Daimyo because it's safer for him and means Splinter can keep looking for the other three.

Splinter still comes back to visit quite often, which helps Leo hold onto the memories of his brothers while he waits to be reunited with them.

anyways, that's all the boys now lol. so i'm going to go try to calm down about this fic (i predict i will fail epically. I love them all too much!)

Catarina's romantic tastes

Who is most likely to end up with Catarina ?

To me, it's definitely Geordo, he has the most romantic moments and is with Catarina most of the time. We have his POV very often in almost all the volumes, especially where we can see how much he loves her. He is also definitely one of Catarina's closest friend. Now I think that 4 people can possibly be considered as romantic interests by Catarina. These people are Geordo, Keith, Maria and Sora. But they are all missing something very important to be loved romantically by Catarina.

I think that to be loved romantically by Catarina (I also looked at the game for that) you need 4 important things :

Someone very reliable, someone she can rely on, protect her and that she wouldn't have to hide anything from them and of course be able to "scold" her when she is doing reckless things

Someone she can be comfortable with, who doesn't want her to behave in a perticular way

Someone who can makes her feel good, because Catarina seems to have a serious inferiority complex, this person would have to help her having more self-confidence.

Someone who can makes romantic advances (not too much) without being uneasy.

For the time being the only people who have all those qualities (or almost) are Raphael, Sora (Aaqil), (Cezar) and maybe Nicol.

I unfortunately won't put Sophia because she is "best friend" ranked and she is helping Nicol.

Geordo : 1, (2), (4)

Geordo almost have all these qualities but he is missing a very important thing, he is not able to make her having more self confidence and that's one of the reason Catarina can't love him (now) romantically. Honestly I don't particulary like or hate Geordo (though I HATE his version in verge of doom) But one of the reason I can't love him is because it's partly his fault if Catarina lacks so much self confidence. At first I thought he didn't know about her inferiority complex but in LN13 he told her that she is always undervaluing herself so it means he knows. Moreover there is the fact that Catarina is literally harassed by the noble ladies who want to become Geordo's fiancée, he is doing nothing to stop this harassement, even if Catarina has a strong heart it doesn't mean that it can't hurt her, she is still a human. The reason why Catarina doesn't react is because she thinks that they are right, that she is not worthy of being Geordo's fiancée and that she doesn't have any qualities. I mean, Catarina is okay on Geordo CHEATING on her because she is "not good enough for him" and because she is a "villainess". It won't lead them anywhere. I think Geordo is horrible for not trying to put an end to this because I'm sure that if he has done that Catarina wouldn't have so much of an inferiority complex and could more easily love him. After all "To love someone you need to love yourself first" so as long as Catarina doesn't love herself she won't be able to love anyone. To put it simply, the reason why Catarina is so dense is because she lacks too much self confidence.

Keith : 1, (2)

In Keith's case he is lacking the 2,3 and 4. unfortunately for him he is acting too motherly so Catarina can't see him as a man, what's more he is always calling her "big sister" and it won't help him. I won't deny that Keith is a gentle man but it's also mostly his fault if Catarina is always undervaluing herself. I know that people think that he is just scolding her about that not being ladylike but he never tried to praise her even just a little to make her feel better. He didn't even try to stop the harrasement either. And he is too dependent on her to make the progress in their relationship. And honesly I don't understand why people who love Catarina can love her mother. I think she can be very mean and heartless, as good proof of it when Catarina was kidnapped she was sure that her mother would just abandon her if the ransom was too much, I felt very sad for her at that moment. And she also scolds Catarina too much and for almost nothing sometimes. Honestly If I had a mother like that I would be very gloomy all the time. So, If Keith wants Catarina to see him as a man he needs to act more manly and be more sensitive to how she feels.

Mary : 2,4

Mary is very similar to Keith for some things because, like him, she worsens Catarina's complex (though not as much as him) . By always telling Catarina how difficult it is to be a prince's consort she makes Catarina feel very bad about herself. And even if Catarina feels comfortable around Mary she doesn't see her as a reliable figure who can protect her and Mary isn't able to say the right words to make her feel better. Though regarding the romantic advances she would have no problem. But now she is more trying to protect her from her rivals.

Maria : 2 ,(3)

Even though Maria can be reliable she is unable to protect Catarina and Catarina can't see her as someone she can really rely on (since she has to save Maria all the time). Maria can't make romantic advances and is not serious about it and even if Catarina is comfortable with her she can't help but think of Maria as "the heroine" which creates a distance between them. And Maria unfortunately can't help her with her inferiority complex nor make Catarina feel better about it.

Alan : (1),2, (3), (4)

I have mixed feelings for Alan, because he has 1, 2 but he is lacking the others qualities. Unlike Keith and Geordo he doesn't make Catarina's complex worse but he still can't make her feel better about it. Maybe part of it is because they spend little time together and rarely alone. And even if he teases her and can be rude sometimes he is still very honest and gentle (when he wants it) And tsunderes are always very popular ^^ He just needs to learn how to act more manly and learn to be less shy with relationships and it will be perfect. Because if Catarina see Keith as a mother, she see Alan as a child and doesn't take him seriously in romance matters.

Nicol : 1, 2, 3, (4)

About Nicol, I think he has 1,2,3 but is lacking a bit 4. Nicol is a very gentle person and can be very romantic (take the example of LN8 and 11) Since he has a little sister he is used to take care of people and he doesn't want her to behave in a specific way because he likes her the way she is. He also doesn't make Catarina's complex worse and if he could talk more I think he could help her to be more confident. He only has one major problem...You guessed right : His devilish charm but the poor guy can't do anything about it. But with the help of Sophia and his parents who support him, I think that, if he tried he would have almost no problem to win Catarina's heart.

Raphael : 1, 2, 3, (4)

He has all the qualities needed but maybe because he doesn't have much time with Catarina he lacks a bit 4. He just wants to protect her and is okay with anyone she ends up with as long as she is happy. He can give her great advices and praise her with the right words to make her feel better and to him Catarina's opinion matters the most (like Nicol) . He isn't afraid of scolding her if needed out of worry for her and even if he doesn't see her often he is very sensitive to her feelings, sharp, and really trusts her. He just needs to be more serious about his pursue and I'm sure he would have no problem winning Catarina's heart. He is also one of the only one Catarina see as a man.

Sora : 1 ,2, 3, (4)

Sora, too, has almost all the qualities because it's obviously with him that Catarina is the most comfortable around. He is cool and reliable. Even if his ways of showing his worry can be rude or too honest he is still a very caring person and he is ready to protect Catarina as much as necessary, even indirectly. He is also quite smart because he can make subtle romantic advances to make progress. Like the way he chased the guys away at the ocean harbor by pretending it was "his job". Or the way he always takes her to her carriage at the gates of the Ministry even if it means take a detour to go back to the dorms. He doesn't particulary help her with her inferiority complex but he doesn't worsen it either.

Cezar : 1, 2, (3), 4

I don't know much about Cezar since we didn't see him much but he seems to have 1,2 and 4. Unfortunately he doesn't seem that serious about his pursue but, like Sora, he is easygoing and considerate so Catarina is very comfortable with him. But maybe because he doesn't have much time with her we can't really see him trying to win Catarina's heart. He is able to make romantic advances (but doesn't do it) and he is reliable and can protect Catarina . And he is a prince so he can perfectly compete against Geordo and the others. So I think his problem is mainly the motivation and he doesn't have much self- confidence himself and I think that's why he would be a good match for Catarina since he can help her with her complex and Catarina with his.

Aaqil : 1, 2, 4, (3)

I'm not sure about Aaqil but I think he has almost all the qualities. He is reliable and can protect Catarina, and she does see him as a man (at least not as child). He wants her to be herself and prefers when she is acting casually and is okay with her outstanding personnality. I don't know if he can help her with her complex but he can make gentle romantic advances and Catarina is comfortable with him. He has a very gentle personnality and really cares about her. I think he and Catarina just have to interact more with each other and they could end up together. He also needs to help her with her inferiority complex.

EDIT : Geordo and Keith also made an expensive mistake in their confessions. They didn't tell her WHY they love her.

Eventually, he learns to suck it up and gets used to it because, gosh darn, he just loves you that much.

Raphael

Doesn't even bat an eye considering his family has to interrupt him before he speaks crudely. He doesn't get why. They're just words with negative associations, after all. The two of you are a massively bad influence on each other, unintentionally encouraging the other to exercise their foul mouth.

It certainly makes banter very interesting, to which the rest of the Hamato family are made either uncomfortable or concerned. Raph has no idea what the problem is. Minus their father, they all grew up in New York, for crying out loud!

May occasionally flinch with the odd swear here and there but doesn't seem to mind too much overall. Even he has some colourful expressions of his own. Sure, his own versions of obscenities are very much more family-friendly but he kind of gets it. "By Darwin's beard" is a prime example.

Donnie isn't one to frequently budge at your choice of vocabulary but he'd be lying if he said he isn't impressed with your creativity.

He's dead now. You couldn't even take revenge on something tangible, there was nothing to destroy, nothing to murder. Neil is already dead anyway. Everyone's in shock, you've lost Aaron and Vladimir in the same evening. In a rage, you destroyed everything in sight, threw over knick-knacks and pictures, insulted mother and father until you collapsed exhausted in the small living room.

The next morning, you woke up in bed. It was Beliath who put you there. Raphaël fell asleep on a chair next to you because they were too scared to leave you alone.

Vladimir had hoped to free you with his suicide so that you could finally leave and lead the life you'd always dreamed of, but that's not the case. You stay in her room night and day, sitting on her bed, caressing her clothes, trying everything you can to keep her scent on the pillows, in the sheets. You already feel as if you've forgotten her.

Why did he make another decision for you? Who did he think he was? You never asked for this! Everything should have turned out differently, he should have stayed with you, you would have been happy, you would have lived in the manor with the others, you could have fed off his smile and his laughter until you overdosed. You could have kissed his mouth, his cheeks, his face, his body. Covered him with your love, but he's gone. He had the audacity to abandon you, to leave you alone behind.

You feel as if you've lost your only chance of ever being happy, because what do you have left now? A manor house he no longer lives in. A garden he no longer tends. An empty bedroom, a cold side of the bed. What's the point of staying alive if you have to live alone? What's the point of staying alive when your partner committed suicide because of you? Raphaël has told you that this is not the way to think, but coming from him you have the impression that it's the hospital that laughs at charity. Isn't that Raphael, who has been mourning the loss of his partner for centuries, and asking you to move on?

You can't help wondering what if you'd loved him more? What if you'd shown him your love more often? Why didn't you see the signs? If you had woken up, perhaps you could have stopped him? Why didn't you wake up? Why didn't you hear him come out? Maybe you could have persuaded him not to do it, maybe by talking to him.

You think about it sometimes, probably too often. The other members of the manor refuse to leave you alone for more than an hour. They even take it in turns to sleep with you, lest you try to join Vladimir during the day. When you leave the room, you wander the corridors of the manor like a ghost, barely speaking to the other boys.

Vladimir is also stuck, the guilt of seeing you like this eating away at him. He had hoped to be able to leave this world at last, but he's too full of regret to be able to leave. Seeing you so sad breaks his heart, especially as he doesn't know how to console you. If he still could, he would hug you and whisper reassuring words, but you don't feel his caresses or hear his words.

He tried to move a book, to provoke a draught, to make you feel his presence by all the means at his disposal, but nothing seemed to work. He was sure he would never be able to talk to you, and had almost given up the idea of ever doing so, when finally, one night, he managed to move a sheet of paper. It fell to the floor and you took no notice of it, but after that he redoubled his efforts, a book, another sheet, a knick-knack. You didn't seem to mind either. Then one day you saw it.

Vladimir's book of poetry was open on the desk in your bedroom. You had read it the night before, as you had every night since he died, and you could quote each poem by heart. The first time, you simply closed the book after rereading the poem several times; it always brought you some relief, even if it was only momentary.

When you came back the book was open again on the same page. You thought for a moment that it was madness that had finally taken root in your mind, but things went on like that. You would close the book, and sometimes it would open right in front of you, onto a poem. Anyone would have told you to beware, ghosts feed on energy, it's not healthy, you could already hear the criticism, but if poetry allowed you to communicate with Vladimire then you accepted the danger with open arms. You started to take out a piece of paper to write a few words, and Vladimir replied by shining a light on certain words in the book. It wasn't much, but it was enough to put a smile on your face.

Béliath :

His mother killed him… The image of her body seems to have burned itself into your retinas. You see it as soon as you close your eyes. Léandra had to drag you away from her body, away from the fight and away from her mother. You would never have left if she hadn't dragged you back to the manor.

The boys mourn the death of their friends, but you don't have the strength. There are no tears left on your cheeks as you stare into the emptiness in front of you, feeling the hatred and rage take up more space in your stomach and heart every day. It should never have happened this way. You feel as if you've become nothing more than an entity bent on revenge. You dream about it at night and even during the day when you're asleep. It should never have happened like this, you should have lived happily ever after with him.

You tracked Neil down first, you hold him largely responsible for what happened. When you found him, you killed him, after all, if your parents had managed to keep him prisoner, he must not have been such difficult prey. Worst of all, it gave you pleasure, and your happiness at seeing him dead almost frightened you, almost, because you were far too happy with your victory over the former vampire to dwell on the feeling of destructive rage that was swelling inside you.

After that, you chased Asmodeus day and night. It was all you could think about. She thought you were just a little human, easy prey. But that was before you demanded to be turned into a vampire. Your rage and hatred have increased tenfold, fuelling your strength and you've progressed faster than any other young vampire before you. You know you won't rest until you've murdered her too. You want to make her suffer, to hear her scream. It's a need you've never felt before, but it's what keeps you going every night. Whoever hurt your partner has to pay, whatever it takes.

You returned to the manor after several years of tracking, exhausted, but you had defeated this creature. You kept one of its horns as a souvenir of your victory and carried it with you everywhere like a trophy.

But since then, you haven't really had a goal. You stay in the living room, empty of energy. The other boys try to help you, to find activities for you, but you can't think of anything. All you can think about is Beliath, all you can see is Beliath. All those years of hunting down his mother helped you to mute the pain of his loss, but now it's hitting you even harder. You're going to live forever and he's not here to enjoy it with you.

You have no photo to see his smile again and again, and no video to hear his laughter and voice again. Your memories fade little by little, the features of his face are no longer as clear, you can't remember his smell.

The manor seems sad without his presence, no one arguing gently with Vladimir, no one teasing Raphaël or Ivan. His room hasn't moved, and the others are still cleaning it, as if Beliath or Ethan were about to return and breathe a little life back into the dead walls of this old manor.

Beliath sees you. He has seen your murderous rage and now he sees your distress that nothing seems able to soothe. He wishes he could help you and find a way to ease your sadness so that you could be happy again. But there's nothing he can do. You don't hear him trying to whisper soothing words to you as you cry. You don't feel his hand trying to caress your skin to soothe you, you never feel his arms when he tries to hold you close.

He feels like he's going mad with grief too. Seeing you suffer without being able to help you is horrible suffering, and he'd rather suffer any other kind of torture than this. But he doesn't give up, he does everything he can so that you can see and hear him. He talks, he talks, he talks to say nothing in the hope that one day you'll hear him, but it doesn't work, so he plays in mirrors, windows, all reflective surfaces, you'll see him in the end, he won't give up, you have to see him no matter what.

And then, one night, you saw him. He appeared in your bedroom mirror, your heart missing a beat at first before a tear-streaked smile appeared on your face as you recognised him. Anyone would tell you it's dangerous, a demon ghost in a mirror, but it's your ghost and your demon. You could touch it, the surface was cold and flat under your fingers, but it was there, on the other side, very close to you. He writes on the mirror to speak to you, and you respond in kind. It's not enough, of course, you both want each other's arms around you, but this is just the beginning, you won't give up, one day you'll be able to hug again.

Ivan :

You survived Constance but Ivan didn't. Despite their best efforts, the boys couldn't do anything to save him, there was nothing they could do anyway. You didn't think Ethan would be so affected, but after spending so much time harassing Ivan, the doctor seems to feel extremely guilty that he couldn't do anything to save him. Aaron and Vladimir also seem very affected, the former not speaking to Ethan for several weeks and the latter sinking even deeper into melancholy, giving you the impression of having lost a son rather than a friend.

The first few days were difficult, you couldn't really believe that Ivan wasn't coming back. It was a bit strange, you kept expecting to bump into him in a corridor or to see him coming up to you to suggest that we read together or play a video game together. Sometimes you even thought you could hear his voice in the corridors or see his reflection in the windows and mirrors. But he wasn't there, and the joy of seeing him again always turned to sadness when you realised it.

Little by little you realised that he wasn't coming back. That's when things got even more complicated for you. You couldn't be happy any more, it was frightening, the films that made you laugh, the video games you enjoyed, the books you loved, nothing seemed to be able to make you laugh or even smile any more. You just felt empty and sad. The slightest mention of Ivan made you cry, you couldn't sleep without having nightmares and your lack of sleep only made you even more sensitive.

The boys try to support you, but it's not easy even for them. You often come across Aaron or Vladimir at Ivan's grave. You sometimes stand at his grave alone for a long time before Beliath comes to fetch you and encourages you to go home. He makes you something hot to drink and tries to cheer you up, but even he isn't in the mood to be cheerful.

Ivan sees all this, but he's terrified at first - it wasn't easy enough being a vampire, but now this, a ghost! What's more, he no longer has the slightest support or person to rely on. He remains in a state of complete panic for several days, which causes a few light bulbs to burst in the manor house, Vladimir blames the damage on the ageing electrical system.

When Ivan finally manages to calm down, he wants to know how you are. He's a bit clumsy at first, having unintentionally dropped a stack of books in front of you (He cursed himself for frightening you; he only wanted to make you aware of his presence by banging on the wall.) He makes you jump when he passes in a mirror and then he doesn't manage to appear again to show you his presence. He broke a vase by crossing it too roughly when he wanted to come close to you. He really doesn't seem to be a very effective ghost, and yet he'd love to be able to talk to you.

He keeps on insisting though, he won't give up. He sees every day how sad you are and he wants to make you smile again. He tries for a long time to find a way of communicating with you without frightening you. But it's not easy, he's rather clumsy in his approach, but he thinks he must have a way of making you understand that he's there without breaking more objects around him.

He thought he could communicate with you through video games, but you haven't turned on his games console once since he died, so he can't do anything. He can't turn the console on himself and he's too scared to break it if he insists too much. He thinks he's finally found a solution one evening when he sees you watching videos on your phone. After several unsuccessful attempts, including one that turned your phone off and another that played Ivan's rock playlist, he finally manages to send you SMS.

At first you jumped and nearly dropped the phone when you saw Ivan's message appear. Then, for a brief moment, you thought it was a bad joke, but between the fact that no one had your number, Ivan's music playlist playing by itself and all the objects that had been breaking strangely around you since his death.

You smiled, the fear should have overwhelmed you, you should have run away, gone into hiding, but the happiness of finally being able to communicate with him again took over everything else. It didn't matter how Ivan did it, he could talk to you. You reply to the SMS.

Aaron :

You can be sure of one thing: there's nothing worse than not being able to get even. Neil is dead, you finished him off in the library, but that's not enough. You buried his body in the cellar, or what was left of it to bury. After wounding him almost mortally with your chalice powers, you finished him off with Aaron's sword, you struck, struck, struck, again and again with a rage that still burns in your heart. It took the intervention of Beliath and Raphael to stop you from continuing to destroy the corpse. You're sure you could have gone on for hours without exhausting yourself. How could you have calmed down when that thing had just killed your partner!

It's been a month and you still can't grieve. All you feel is hatred and anger for what happened. It burns inside you like an erupting volcano, nothing seems to be able to stop it, the smallest detail is enough to fuel it. The simple fact of uttering Neil's name, of alluding to the cellar and you go into a mad rage destroying everything within your reach.

You were happy! Your life with Aaron seemed wonderful. There was a real connection between the two of you, you had never felt so close to anyone before him and it all disappeared in one night. It's as if something is missing to make you feel complete, you feel broken, and it's even worse when bedtime comes and you find yourself alone in his room.

There are his sheets and his smell disappears, you sometimes wake up with the impression that he's at his desk writing his poetry, but he's never there. He won't write you any more poetry. You feel like you're choking every time you realise it.

Your Aaron, your murdered Aaron. You were sure that constantly protecting others would end up costing him his life. You blame yourself so much, if you'd been able to convince him to stay safe, if you'd been a better fighter, none of this would have happened. You don't listen to your housemates who keep telling you that you couldn't have done anything to protect him. You should have protected him, you're sure of it, it's going round and round in your head. You should have protected him. That's what partners do and you failed.

It hurts Aaron to see you like this, and it hurts him even more not to be able to do anything to help or console you. He's always hated feeling helpless and he couldn't be more so. He'd love to be able to hug you to reassure you that it's not your fault. He blames himself even more when he sees you feeling guilty.

He tries to communicate with you, he has tried several times to take you in his arms and hold you close to him, but you never feel his presence. He drops things but you just pick them up and put them back. Sometimes he sits for hours at the desk in his bedroom trying to write words or a sentence, but despite his best efforts nothing happens.

He feels like he's going mad, everything he does seems to have no consequences. But he's stubborn and he won't give up, especially when he sees that your rage is slowly turning to melancholy. Gradually you stop getting angry, you stop destroying things, you just visit his grave in the garden and stand there doing nothing. He can't leave you like this, so he insists. He drops more objects, he bangs the walls harder, he plays with the shadows, he keeps trying to write.

One day he finally does, and when you go back up to the bedroom to go to bed there's a little note written on a piece of paper. At first you don't believe it, maybe it's a piece of poetry you've pulled out of the desk drawer without remembering. But every day you find a little more.

Then one day the words write themselves on the paper, and you stare at them for several minutes, completely dazed. It could only be Aaron, it's Aaron's handwriting. You feel like you could faint from joy, but you grab a pen to answer.

Some might tell you that it's dangerous, that you shouldn't trust a ghost as it could be hostile or do you harm, but no matter, you take all the risks necessary to chat with Aaron.

Raphaël :

It was a huge shock for Vladimir and Beliath when they returned to the manor house. There you both were, Raphael already dead and you in agony. While Vladimir collapsed in shock, unable to make the slightest gesture or utter the slightest sound, Beliath pounced on you to turn you into a vampire. It wasn't easy, but luckily he acted quickly enough for you not to succumb to your injuries. The boys buried Raphaël in the garden and you didn't learn of his death until several days later, when you finally woke up.

You're not sure you're happy about that, you're alive, but without Raphaël everything seems a lot less sparkling. The world has lost its colour, or it's you who can't see it any more. You spend a lot of time sitting in his room, most of the time doing nothing because you don't have the energy. Sometimes you observe his collections, the luminous reflections of the stones in the sun, other times you listen to the music he used to enjoy, which soothes you at least a little, and when you close your eyes you almost feel as if he could still be there, listening to the music with you.

He's never there, though, and when you open your eyes again you're alone in the room, and there's nothing worse than that loneliness. The bond between you was so strong that you felt as if you were one, more than a separation, you feel as if a part of yourself is missing.

Your housemates often try to cheer you up, as you hardly ever leave the room any more, Beliath brings you food, Vladimir sometimes comes to keep you company, you don't often talk but he's there to help you if you need it, Aaron also comes to keep you company from time to time, he talks more than Vladimir, but he never expects a reply from you, he tells you what he's seen in the forest, the gossip from the manor, he also tries to make you laugh, even if he's not very good at it.

It hurts Raphaël to see you so sad. He'd like to find a way to help you, but at first he's so distressed by the situation that he sits motionless in his room for a long time, unable to do anything. The worst thing for him is that he can't touch you any more, he misses the happy moments when you used to read together in the library and his hand would brush yours, the moments when he could gently kiss your face and feel your bodies against him, now all he hears is you crying and he can't do anything to comfort you, it's worse than anything horrible he's ever experienced, he can't bear it.

It takes a while before he dares to try and get you to notice him. At first, he doesn't really know what to do, he's afraid of scaring you and making you even more unhappy. You're already going through a difficult time after all and he wouldn't want to make things worse by scaring you. So he tries little things, dropping a small object, talking to you softly, touching your hand. It doesn't work though, you don't notice and he doesn't know if he's getting any reaction from you because he can't hear you.

He tries to make heavier objects fall, even dropping one of his rapiers, he doesn't need it after all, you seem to have understood this time because he heard you calling him, but he didn't manage to make you understand that he was there a second time.

After many attempts, he settled on the phonograph. You were startled the first time you heard the music change, but it continued every night, often songs that you and Raphaël liked to listen to together. He continued to use the phonograph for a long time, mainly because it was finally something that seemed to make you react, you were asking him questions and he was trying to make himself understood through the music. You went on like this until it occurred to you to go and find an old radio in the attic.

When you got to your room, you were startled to hear the radio come on without you even having to plug it in. Raphaël was connecting to a different radio wave to talk to you using the voices of the presenters and the music that was playing. It was a bit frightening of course, no doubt if Vladimir had seen what was happening he would have had a heart attack, but you were too happy to be able to talk to Raphaël again to think about it for a second.

Ethan :

You can't tell exactly what happened that night. Ethan and you, you'd bought a nice little flat in town, near the Moondance. You lived there happily and… Neil attacked you. The only thing you know for sure is that Ethan died next to you, but you're not sure about anything else. You must have done something because, after that, Aaron found you in the forest, you were covered in blood from head to toe, not your own. He told you that he smelled the scent all the way to the manor house and that he got there as quickly as he could, but you don't remember that either.

Neil is dead by all accounts. You're not sure if it was you or Ethan who killed him. Aaron thinks it was you, you were covered in his blood after all, right down to your fingernails, but you can't be sure. What happened that night remains a mystery to you - in fact, you don't even really know how you ended up on the path to the mansion in your pyjamas and bare feet, walking like a lost automaton.

Since then, you've returned to live at the manor with the boys. You don't really sleep, night or day. The nightmares assault you as soon as you close your eyes, you see his body again, nothing but his body. Beliath sleeps in the bedroom with you, too afraid that, like Ethan when he was alive, you'll start going outside the manor in a daze.

When you're not lying in Ethan' room, you're wandering the corridors like a ghost, barely speaking to them. The boys try to talk to you, but most of the time you just don't reply. They have the impression that you're there, without really being there. If Beliath didn't try to cook for you every day and didn't insist that you eat, you probably wouldn't eat at all.

You haven't set foot in the city once since he left, and it's been several months since he left. The boys have tried to get you out and about - Aaron has suggested concerts, Ivan video games or manga conventions, Raphaël museum visits, Beliath to accompany you to the Moondance and Vladimir has even suggested go walking in the forest together. But none of these activities could rouse you from your lethargy.

Ethan sees all this. At first he was wandering around your flat in town not understanding where you might be and with the worry that Neil had taken you with him, he couldn't remember anything other than his death and was unable to find out what happened to you afterwards. He went to the manor in the hope of finding help or at least convincing the boys to go looking for you, and that's when he saw you. You were in his room, staring at the ceiling, the various attempts of his former housemates to cheer you up seemingly in vain.

He couldn't leave you like that, it was unthinkable. He tried to talk to you, to communicate with you, but you didn't react. The objects falling, the banging on the walls, the noises in the pipes. Nothing seemed to make you react, you just lay there in bed, or pacing the corridors of the manor house. He couldn't give up, not until he finally found something to communicate with you. He kept going until he finally found something that made you react.

The bedside lamp on his desk never stopped flickering. At first, you simply turned it off, but then it would come back on and start flickering again, so you unplugged it, but even then it kept going at a strange rate, so you stopped trying to turn it off and just stared at it; the annoying flickering had become soothing. You couldn't explain why but you just felt good looking at it.

One evening Aaron joked with you that it might be Morse code. It was a stupid idea, but it never left you. What if Aaron was right, despite his joke? This idea, which you found absurd, gave you renewed energy. The very next day you began your research: if vampires existed, why not ghosts, and why shouldn't this ghost be your Ethan?

You've read dozens and dozens of books on Morse code while learning to decipher it. It was difficult at first, but you slowly managed to understand it. Then you started asking him questions, first to find out if it was really Ethan, questions that only he had the answers to. You remained doubtful even though every answer was right, between doubt and the impression that you could burst with happiness.

You continued to talk to him, feeling more and more confident, and slowly your doubts melted away. It was Ethan and he had found a way to communicate with you.

Ethan's happiness at seeing you understand couldn't be described in words. He knew you could do it; your intelligence has always been a great attraction to him. You spend a lot of time joking together.

You were ready to love a vampire, so why not a ghost after all? Some might say you've lost your mind, but it doesn't matter as long as you can talk to Ethan.

I genuinely think that Lae'zel would be Ulder's biggest hater out of all the companions.

Like, her big thing is that she believes the figures of authority should have faith in and reward those who follow them, otherwise they do no deserve their followers. It's the main reason she breaks with the Vlaakith so readily--the Vlaakith betrayed Lae'zel first by not holding up her end of their relationship as god and devotee so now Lae'zel will join a rebellion to overthrow her with a new, nicer god-king to devote her life and spirit to. She's pretty firmly in the camp of giving your entire self to a person or cause, but only if that person or cause gives something back and respects the sheer entirety of what you're giving.

We also see this with how Lae'zel often comments approvingly of other companions breaking with their own abusive mentors/parents/gods and is often openly critical of those authorities exploiting their underlings. I think her belief in this best exemplified by her dialogue when Gale is asked by Mystra to blow himself up. She essentially says Mystra does not deserve Gale because she lacks faith in him and that Gale deserves better than a god who returns his devotion with the callous dismissal of his life.

(That dialogue is also when I began loving Lae'zel despite her abrasiveness. She respects herself and knows her own worth so well, and thinks others should see it in themselves too, to the point of dismissing the demands of a god because the god clearly doesn't respect the life and worth of their follower. For her, the idea that a mortal life is worth little to a god and can be treated as such is not a given, and in fact is an injustice)

And the problem I'd think she'd have with Ulder isn't anything he did during the game, but prior to it. Because Ulder's reactions are, I hate to say it, reasonable if harsh if one truly believes Wyll is a power-hungry warlock (or perhaps just an idiot) who made a deal with a fiend (though, considering the kinds of people Baldur's Gate welcomes on the regular, what Ulder himself has done in the past, perhaps the exile was a major overreaction). But what it took to reach that conclusion, that's what I think Lae'zel would have a problem with,

Because Ulder has no real evidence either way what motivated Wyll to make this pact and we know that devils often prey on the desperate. Raphael outright states that they often go after people who have no choices left and offer them one. It shows a startling lack of faith in Wyll that Ulder would just assume he had no good reason to make the pact. Because he's just assuming! The only people who knows what happened are Mizora (a devil) and Wyll (who's not talking, who can't talk about it), and his son who so far has been nothing but good and loyal to his father and city shows up with a missing eye, a pact with a devil, and an empty field that is quite frankly suspicious in how Wyll clearly was trying to show him something that's no longer there and he's not explaining despite clearly wanting to--

Lae'zel would be absolutely incensed at the lack of faith Ulder demonstrated in his son in that moment, at how Wyll's love and fidelity was repaid with doubt the moment things got hard. All Ulder had was very suspicious circumstance and the word of a devil and suddenly that's enough to banish his son? No, fuck that. Lae'zel knows Wyll as a good and noble man, knows that even his new devil-like looks were gained through selflessness and nobility, knows that Wyll loves his father even now even if she thinks Ulder lost the right to that love. She would rip Ulder to shreds in her usual blunt and direct way and it would be glorious to witness.

1 - Does Splinter ever get to form such bonds with his sons?

He quite does, it's very hard at the start but he eventually does!

With Mikey he did became more protective and careful, especially that he has now 3 brothers, and he can't give Mikey all the attention like before(even though it was not much), so they end up getting more separated. Since Mikey knows how much their brothers need a loving parent, he has tried to teach his moves with Dr.Feelings to Splinter but it doesn't work out. Mikey feels kind off left out sometimes, especially since Splinter has tried to do more with his other siblings, but he says to himself that they need it too, so he tries to help him.

With Raphael, he absolutely loves Raph, except for the part with Draxum, for Splinter he is amazing at being the leader and very great for things, since Raph is used to rules and being told what to do, he ends up telling Raph what to do most of the time. They are not that close, but still hang out, he tries to learn of Raph and try his best to be caring and great for him.. sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Between this three people, one of the major conflicts of the AU happens, especially for Raph and Mikey.

With Leo, he is not very great with him, since Leo is more.. bratty than his Rise version, he seeks attention and praise, Splinter gives the littlest words of affirmation and Leo is already very happy, Splinter has considered of Leo being the leader? Yes, but he is not fully ready yet. He got along with him a lot like Mikey, and he helps Splinter with Raph, though with Donnie he fights 24/7 and he tries to make Splinter see what Donnie do, but most of the time, he doesn't show up, that is something he questions a lot.

With Donnie, he became one of his favorites, since he makes a lot of gifts for Splinter, and things for him to be more comfortable, and he was also the one he raised for a little bit and got back home, i plan them to have one of the cutest reunions to be honest. Splinter knows how Donnie is.. for the most part, he knows how hard change is for him, so he often asks what things he did in the Foot that they could make here, and some events he enjoys.

Overall, he is very good with them, trying to learn the new things of Donnie, trying to make Raph learn some father love(daddy issues), giving Leo some advice on how to be the leader, but with Mikey, since he is used to him, he kind off lefts him behind sometimes.

2 - Do they change info, to their Canon outfits, or rebrand?

We first see Leo with an little change, not to much, he said quote: "You need clothes Mikey, how will you show your Razzmatazz better if you dont look like me?". So he mostly sticks with the normal clothes he has, he just adds more things and more pouches, cuz he tries to carry things for his brothers. He also adds the TMNT symbol, changing his jewelry for it.

Mikey stays normal, just adding more stickers to his gloves. But more scars.. hehehehe.

Raph had to remove some of his armor, since they didn't let him move to much, he still stays with his scarf ,pants and some armor pieces. But his chest-plate and shoes gets removed. He also gets bigger and sharper with his teeth being more sharp, we see this change in "The Evil League Of Mutants" and then he just stays like that, he just adds to his belt the symbol of the TMNT group.

Now Donnie had the most changes, he went from emo ninja to nerd ninja, aside from that, he changes his Battle Shell for something more useful, and makes one to wear it in the house only, he also gets encouraged by Mikey to make his Tech-Bo.. He absolutely did make it and went insane with it, he gives his gloves a little change, opening the hand part more and getting them painted with the colors of his brothers. I will not talk to much of it, cause for real i will stay here all day talking about it.

Donnie doesn't remember his name, so being called Donatello out of nowhere makes him confused, so Splinter and the brothers call him Purple and slowly change to Donnatello, the one who starts with the nicknames is Leo, he ends up getting used to it eventually, but it was a hard thing for him to do.

From the interaction you see, even after everything, Raph is not used to being called Raphael, Mikey and him fight for it, since Turtle One is not A NAME, but when Draxum gets his redemption arc, Mikey teaches him that that's not a name, he is not just a warrior anymore, he never was just that, he deserves a name, then Mikey tells him that Raphael was the best name. After Draxum starts calling him by that, he gets used to it, and right at the last episodes of season 2, he finally goes just by Raphael, and of course the nicknames.

And to answer your question, I love him a lot! My thoughts on him probably aren't as in-depth as Leo's just bc Leo is my blorbo, but I've noticed a couple of things about him and characterization that I just whole-heartedly love.

Things like how, if they're in a big fight scene, and one of his brothers is about to get attacked from behind and they don't notice, Raph will be the one to jump in and protect them. He is so protective over his brothers, it drives me insane ("you mess with my brother, you mess with me!"). And, like, the fact that he can even do that in the first place probably means he has some pretty good battle awareness. Or at the very least he is crazy aware of where his brothers are and what they're doing. (People say Leo is an overprotective mother hen, but 1) I havent seen THAT much evidence of it since he usually only intervenes when they ARE actually in trouble and 2) i think Raph in this show could give him a run for his money on that front lmao.)

I've also noticed just how often he just. Throws his sai at opponents. To the point I'm actually surprised he hasn't LOST them yet. And, once again, it usually happens when one of his brothers is in trouble and he's too far away to intervene. Which means he'd rather be weaponless but protect his brothers over seeing them get hurt when he could've done SOMETHING. (once again. the protectiveness drives me crazy.)

There's also how the two Raph-centric episodes I've seen so far usually involve him meeting someone going through a similar emotional turmoil he is and it's through trying to help them that he seems to actually process and understand the advice his family gives him. Like, I think he does know that on some level that they're right when they tell him to control himself or calm down or not to rush ahead but it doesn't feel right to him so it's hard for him to take it, until he's on the other side of the equation and he can, like, understand their side better.

Also, I think Raphael is usually talked about being the angry or aggressive turtle but like. Not really? There was that one early episode where losing a sparring a match with Mikey got him so mad he tried to seriously hurt him, but I don't think it's actually cropped up much since then. Like, yes, I guess compared to the other turtles he's more aggressive, but that usually comes from a need to protect or defend or DO SOMETHING when something is wrong, which isn't the same as having a temper imo. He gets annoyed with Mikey a lot, but in fairness, Mikey also deliberately tries to annoy him in the first place so like.

Same thing actually for the impression that Raph and Leo fight a lot. I think in the first two seasons I can think of only 4 moments where they actually seriously disagree? When Raph wanted to get revenge on the Mousers destroying their initial lair in the show, when Raph confronts Leo on meeting with the Shredder and actually getting into an agreement with him at first, when they're staying at April's place bc the sewers have been invaded by Foot ninja and Raph wants to go back to their home and Leo keeps saying it's a bad idea, and the whole City at War arc. And tbh, those middle two barely count imo, Leo needed to get his head knocked straight after meeting with the shredder that first time. And since Splinter also warns Leo against going back to the sewers after the episode with that argument, I think it's safe to say that Leo also kind of agreed with him lol.

Actually, the Raph and Leo relationship seems pretty supportive and understanding to me! In Monster Hunter, when Leo woke up from his coma but is still struggling with what happened to him, Raph is the one to support him as he processes what happened and helps him forge new katana. And when Splinter is missing and Raph is getting increasingly frustrated waiting for news, Don and Mikey are the ones telling him to chill and be patient, but Leo is the one to tell him to go up top and search for Splinter and blow off some steam. (and considering the way the City at War arc starts, they apparently still play Follow the Leader together, which is weirdly adorable to me? and it's so friendly too?)

Dunno, they just feel like they're on the same wavelength most of the time, it's just that since Leo has to consider the safety of everyone first, they have some mild disagreements here and there (which, I think, Raph is aware of and why he does listen even if he doesn't always like it, bc he wants his family safe first and foremost). (City at War is an outlier but like. I have other thoughts on that that's going to be touched upon on a different Leo post.)
