Man I hate to say it but, you definitely do not fit his ideal type. You were not what he wrote down in his book of ideals. And he couldn’t have asked for anything better. It took him a bit to warm up to the idea of dating you, but once he realized how much he’d fallen for you, and how well you two pair together, he decided to screw the damn book and officially ask you out.

To be honest, he spoils you rotten. As I said in my cuddling headcanon post, if he’s in a relationship with you it’s serious. In my opinion, you ground him. Your happiness is his happiness. He wants you loved and cared for. So, even if physical affection is not his thing (it’s not) he’ll do it for you, he’d do anything for you simp.

When it comes to affection, it goes from quality time, acts of service, gift giving, words of affirmation, and then physical affection. Listen, I know words of affirmation is ranked lowly, but I’m sorry this man with his words sometimes is a mess. He’s not the best at verbally comforting someone.

Now what exactly is it like being a cuddle bug in a relationship with an idealist? Let me bullet that for you.

Cuddles are always initiated by you. Even if you’re not feeling well, you always stretch your arms out for him before he can even blink.

On the off chance it’s initiated by him, it comes out of no where.

I mentioned this in the headcanon but I’ll say it again, after a rough day or mission he craves your touch and comfort. I’m going to assume physical affection is your main love language, so it becomes second nature to him to seek out your touch for affection. He’s the type to bury himself into your arms in that case. He’s vulnerable and sensitive, and while I see him as being only dominant in a relationship, sometimes he just needs to be held and cared for.

Sometimes though he will insist on holding you, and that’s a key indicator that something happened where he felt threatened losing you. If that’s the case, let him holding you and baby you for a bit, he needs to reassurance you’re safe in his arms and not going anywhere.

He does sometimes get jealous of your plushies though. There’s been a few times he’s come home to you asleep with your favorite plush in your arms, when it should be him. Eh, it’s his fault for being gone late at work no?

It takes a while for him to let you move in, but he doesn’t stop you from taking over his apartment. There’s always special plushies that stay there. Gifts from him and ones you think resemble him. Whether that’s physical appearance or personality. He found himself comforted by their presence when you aren’t there. The fact they smell like you being a bonus. He will never tell you this though. He will die before admitting it.

The most common cuddle positions involve spooning or laying against his chest. If it’s sitting, then you’re somehow in his lap, or laying your head in it if possible.

It’s become a ritual for you to lay on top of him and tell him all about your day, while he plays with your hair and listens intently. It’s fun listening to his heartbeat pick up as he tells you about the stupid thing Dazai had done today.

It’s also the most convenient if either of you feel like reading a book. He does it a lot, he reads through his book or writes in them to prepare for things.

He’s not the best with you being cuddly and affectionate at work, not at first. It didn’t help that a certain suicidal maniac was his partner and would never leave him alone about it. But after rejecting your affections and see how sad it made you, he learned his lesson and will always allow you to be affectionate with him in public. Not too much though.

Actually now that I think about it Dazai has probably playfully flirted with you (in the dumbest ways) as you sit in Kunikidas lap, asking you to commit double suicide with him, etc. Just to drive his partner insane. You both know that, Kunikida still tries to kill him though. Dazai waits for you to be in his lap since he knows you don’t like to be disturbed and Kunikida can’t get up to hit him.

Funnily enough Ranpo helps ease Kunikidas mind about the affection in the office. You two are great friends by the way. He helped you bully Kunikida into being affectionate with you in the office once. It was great.

I’m sorry though, it doesn’t happen much that you’re affectionate in the office. Cuddles are one thing, which is stretching him enough, but kisses are another. And that’s usually a no. It’s not appropriate in the work place. Sometimes some pecks here and there are okay, but he wouldn’t make out with you.

Your eyes met Mark's for a split second before he broke eye contact. Mark and you go way back, but shit happened and…and you remember him telling you that you were dead to him. As the queue shortened, one of Mark's friends practically bounced up and down when she got to the counter. Mark lingered behind his friend group, doing his obvious best to ignore your presence and make it seem like you were never really there in front of him.

“Oh my god, AERI! I've always wanted to meet you! I'm Ningning, and I'm from the MPA Faculty.”

You watched as she and the girl go over to the back for a quick photo session.

Everyone can hear your conversation from across the room, and his laughter becomes borderline obnoxious as it overpowers any other sound.

✾ He is such a tease and a suggestive one at that. Considering he has no problem revealing intimate, not suitable to be aired on national TV, details about the members' bodies, he won't have any trouble suggestively flirting with you. Where Xiumin's pick-up lines are cute, Baekhyun's are far from it. Give this man some holy water, Jesus.

✾ He is so intense with his flirting that it sometimes crosses the line of sexy to parody, coming off as a joke. Baekyhyun has a very flirty personality and isn't above flirting with his friends. Even though he isn't subtle about his crush, he can accidentally fall into the "he flirts with everyone" category, making you question whether he genuinely likes you or is just being friendly.

✾ He really enjoys the chase when it comes to relationships. Thus, it will take him quite some time before he asks you out, simply because he likes the push-and-pull game.

Chanyeol

✾ There is nothing subtle about Mr. Park Chanyeol. The moment he sees someone he wants to date, he is going for it full steam ahead. Puppy Chanyeol is momentarily retired as he makes his way over to you; Chanyeol knows that he is handsome and sexy, and he is ready to show it to you. I hope you weren't interested in anyone else because the moment you return any of his interest, he will be flirting with you like there is no tomorrow.

✾ Internally, he is so excited to be talking to you, and sometimes, you will see glimpses of his cute puppy-like persona, especially once he feels like you are just as interested. Still, the words coming out of this man's mouth, Jesus part two. Please go and ask Baekyhun to pass the holy water.

✾ That being said, he will get embarrassed when the other members are around or slightly bashful when you return his flirting at full force. It isn't that he doesn't want to talk to you; he simply isn't the type of person to initiate contact with his crush and tends to stay back when he can tell that someone else is interested, too. 

✾ Even if he finds himself near you, don't expect him to have a full-blown conversation with you. He already tends to be a man of little words, but when it comes to you, he is a man of not a single word. Being around you is enough to make him happy; he doesn't really need to have a deep conversation. 

✾ Nevertheless, his actions make more than up for it. He is such a gentleman, being the definition of preferential treatment. You don't have a chair to sit on? He will quietly offer you his. ✾ If you think Xiumin or Kyungsoo are shy, you have not yet met Kai with a crush. He turns into absolute mush the moment he sees you, giggling and blushing whenever you do as much as breathing. You can't even see him because he has resorted to hiding behind the other members, preferably Sehun or Chanyeol, as they are tall enough to obscure him completely.

✾ If he somehow musters up the courage to talk to you, good luck having it go anywhere because he can barely make it through a sentence without giggling. It is obvious to everyone around him that he is smitten with you; his laughs are awkwardly loud, and his eyes are literally shooting hearts.

✾ He has one of two ways of acting around his crush: either he acts super bratty or becomes painfully shy. It depends on whether he has met and talked to you before. But, if you are complete strangers, he would be so quiet, hiding in the furthest corner he can find.

✾ He will pester the members to go over and collect as much information as they can about you. They will do it because he will whine the entire night about it if they don't and, repeat with me, what Sehun wants, Sehun gets. The members try to convince Sehun to go talk to you himself, but Sehun stubbornly refuses. Bro will be playing the Maknae card harder than he ever has in his entire life.

✾ In the end, he will drag Suho with him, trying to 'casually' strike up a conversation with you. The small talk is painful, and in all honesty, Suho, with his dad jokes, isn't helping in the slightest. At the very least, it provides the two of you with a new conversational topic: the teasing of Suho.

Bucky loves the fall, it's his favorite season. He's not too hot, or too cold, and he finds he enjoys seeing how beautiful change can be. But most of all he loves all the activities the two of you can do together.

Most activities are ones done outside, and he is aware that you react to the cold different than him. Sure this is his perfect weather type, but you don't have the same super soldier blood he does.

So he keeps an extra jacket and sweater in his truck for you in case you're in need of an extra layer. He's also got a flannel blanket at the ready for long drives, and when buying the truck he made sure to buy one with heated seats. He never uses them, but with how often you turn yours on, he knows it was a worthy purchase.

He loves the pumpkin patch to an annoying extent. He could truly spend days there, especially with you by his side.

He has a whole seasons pass that allows unlimited corn maze trips, as many hay rides as he wants, and a total of 10 professional photos at those cute little stands where you stick your head through and end up being a pumpkin person. Trust, he has every photo framed around the house.

He also loves picking pumpkins with you, you'll give them all names and he'll do his best to remember which one was named Frank and which one was named Jeff. And he can't say no to you, he really can't, so the front porch of his house is home to 20 pumpkins by the end of fall.

He only lets you carve three, because he know you'll get bored if he tried to get you to do more. You tell him what you want them to look like and he'll do his best to sketch and carve the pumpkin the way you like.

You'd never tell him but he's actually not very good at art things like pumpkin carving, and you think you could do a better job, but he won't let you touch the sharp carving tools so your kitty cat pumpkin is lopsided, the flower looks more like an explosion, and the classic pumpkin face carving has two very different shaped eyes.

Bucky has a Pinterest account, he does, and he always is looking for new things to do to entertain you and him. Which is how you end up in the middle of a forest collecting all types of different leaves, putting them in a small book to press and dry.

You love all the colours, and Bucky takes a bunch of photos of you playing in the leaf piles, or just photos of you walking through the pretty forest, and his favorite photo is the one of you holding two leaves up proudly with a big smile on your face. (They were the biggest leaves the two of you found that day.)

Bucky always makes you wear mittens even if you don't think you need them. You argue that they're winter accessories but Bucky won't have it. He buys you mittens with pumpkins on them, or little leaves, so they look cute. He secretly has a deal with the grandma two doors down, she knits him your mittens and he buys her copious amounts of yarn.

Also fall baking? Bucky isn't a baker, but he does his best when you suggest you two make cupcakes that look like pumpkins. They actually turn out well, but the kitchen ends up a mess! And Bucky vows to never bake again ... Which was a short lived vow because two days later you two are back at it again making chocolate chip cookies with orange coloured chocolate chips.

All in all fall goes well every year. And it's the only season Bucky actively records. You don't know this for a few years but he actually scrapbooks every fall. The books are in his office and he pulls them out when he needs to remember something good.

Pictures of you in the forest line a bunch of pages, some selfies of the two of you are tucked in there, and every picture taken at the pumpkin patch has a spot. Leaves that you two pressed are glued to the pages with care, and he makes sure to photograph what your carved pumpkins look like each year.

He finds he likes making scrapbooks. Once in his life he forgot everything important to him. And sometimes he wonders what he still doesn't remember because there's nothing to remind him. So he keeps these tucked away in case he ever forgets, he keeps them so no matter what happens he'll always have proof that he loved you, that you loved him, and that beauty can exist during change.

around 15 minutes in or so, you're too engrossed in the movie to hear rin's quiet shuffling, and how he's now crossed the distance to sit next to you. his hand comes up to your shoulder to get your attention and when he has it, rin's quick to manoeuvre you so that you were now lying down on the couch.

he then plops down, wrapping his arms around you and resting his head on your chest.

"i'm sorry," whispers the striker. such simple words with such heavy meaning, especially coming from him.

Reo did what Nagi had said, holding his hand in front of your face.

To answer your question, the dividers and headers are actually very easy to make. The animated dividers I make aren’t difficult per se, they just involve a few more steps than making a normal divider does. As for my animated headers that I use for my fics or masterlists and what not those are also pretty easy. I’ll try to explain a little more about what I use in depth below. I never just buy a divider pack and claim it as my own on Tumblr, I always edit them in some way that fits more to what I want. It’s just a good starting point in my opinion. Of course, you can probably find simple dividers online, only you know what’s best for you. Very easy to use and so much fun to make your own boards and stuff. I spend hours organizing my pins, I need to get back into it tbh 😿

You also can’t crop the image and unless you pay for no watermark it gives you one. It saves animated dividers / gifs as videos, so I go to Ezgif to make it into a gif and crop the image to remove the watermark. Again, this one is a little hard to explain.

I use it on mobile only because I know which buttons I need to press so it’s not a problem.

Once you open up the site it can be very overwhelming and confusing with all the buttons and drop downs and yada yada. Photopea is like an animations version of photoshop. If your background is white it will have a hard time differentiating the gif from the white background and will clip out parts of the gif and make it choppy. I recommend having a plain black background as that works best for me. Also it just recently had an update where you need to wait 10 seconds before you can download the finished product. It also claims you can only use it a certain amount of times a day but tbh I’ve used it a bunch in one day and never seem to have a limit. So idk. Like I said this update is recent. I guess a lot more people started using it and now they want to charge people.

Firstly I would like to apologise to my followers! I'm really sorry you all had to see me lash out and use such vulgar language, that was really embarrassing to be honest, which is why I edited my posts lol! I genuinely believe I only reacted like that because I was scared of losing this blog and I was really offended by that one ARMY, so I decided to just cuss her out because I could not imagine losing my one and only blog over a tarot post. Now back to why I have written this post, we all are aware of the BTS Sajaegi issue all over social media right now and from my tarot reading you can tell that it was in fact true. To be honest, I really do not understand K-Pop stan's obsession with Payola/Sajaegi, saying who paved/paid the way and all that ruckus. I need K-Pop stans to understand that ALL these companies pay for streams, sales, youtube views and etc. They need to understand that this K-Pop industry is hella competitive as hell, I mean we literally saw BSH wanting to step on AESPA, SM buying people to study NEWJEANS concept, SM staff listening to popular K-Pop songs to study the popular songs and see how they can replicate them, BSH debuting Sakura and Chaewon to compete with IVE and soooo many more instances. ARMY are all over social media posting concert photos of BTS tours, trying to prove that they did not use sajaegi does not make any sense to me?!

I really do not know how to explain this in words but different K-Pop groups have luck in being the "it" factor making it easy for them to pull fully dedicated fans this does not mean other groups that do not have that factor or fewer streams are not as talented compared to the groups at the top. I mean look at BTS, BLACKPINK, LE SSERAFIM, NEWJEANS & TWICE, they have that "it" factor to pull crowds both domestically and internationally, and I am certain they use sajaegi but does this sajaegi thing affect their quality of music, talents, etc?! NO! So why on earth are people taking this to heart specifically ARMY? I am currently listening to BTS as I am typing this and I will repeat this once again! The sajaegi thing really does not affect their talent and producing abilities, all of their discographies are honestly the best... so why would you cry and whine about how BTS paid for streams and awards. That is NOT what you guys should be looking at, the boy's music and talent because that is what matters the most. If newjeans were to come out and say they use sajaegi for streams, I would not be crying because why should I? I love new jeans but them buying streams will not affect my school fees payments and stationery money so... why are I-ARMY having a full-blown meltdown over things that will not affect them in their everyday lives?! THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO DETACH! PLEASE I BEG! So I need ARMY to stop attacking people for sharing their opinions and thoughts on this situation ANDD stop attacking other groups for the same thing right after this drama dies down soon! I had a very successful and entertaining day today, as you guys can probably tell from the posts I made. There's a few more queued posts of stuff I didn't get to post in-situ, so enjoy that!

Some anecdotes I did not post about from today:

-- I can't remember the last time I queued for a museum. Mostly because if it's not one of "my" museums, like the Field or the Art Institute where I know the best ways in, I'm attending on a weekday deliberately so that I am not amongst the crowds. The line to get into the British Museum was a full block long, but to be fair it only took me ten minutes from opening to get inside. I was mostly amused by the people who a) didn't understand how museum entry works or b) didn't understand how to stand in a line without also blocking foot traffic on the rest of the sidewalk.

-- Almost got in a fight with someone, a definite first for me in a museum. I got salty with a guy who touched a sculpture when he knew he shouldn't, and he got up in my face, and I think genuinely the fact that I knew what the sculpture was called and he didn't confused him so badly he backed down. So if you're looking to defuse a situation via confusion, the phrase "Hey, don't fucking touch the Lamassu and we won't have a problem" worked for me.

-- The British Museum is great but among other issues (looted objects, weird relics of museum-specific imperialism, etc) it does suffer from poor display design in places. I'm okay with that, I kind of like old museums that are a little fucked up, even as I acknowledge that old fucked-up museums also have old fucked-up messaging. They appear to be trying on that front, but they could use a display placard overhaul. At one point I found an object in a case that appeared to be a carved human leg bone, and while I'm not a Bone Specialist there was also absolutely no placard about the bone at all. (I looked it up in the collection later using other objects in the case as reference, and it's just noted as "bone".)

-- I did have a great time overall; I saw most of the museum and then had a fancy meal, as documented. I was especially pleased to get to sample their coronation chicken since I collect tastings of coronation chicken, and I think they either used molasses in it or the bread had some, and either way it's grist for my mill as I start to develop The Chicken Salad War. After lunch I went on the hunt for a few last things, but I could feel myself getting tired and Becoming Unmedicated so I decided to leave a little early, which was the right choice, and gave me a little time to do some exploring.

-- @neil-gaiman did a post a while ago about stuff to see in London which I saved, and while I mostly planned my own journey, I did stop at Atlantis Books on his recommendation, which was well worth it. The woman working the till left me alone until I was ready to buy my book, then praised my choice (always a good move) and made a few minutes' small talk about my visit from America while she was ringing me up. Also I have never seen such a variety of Tarot decks for sale in my life. It was extremely impressive given the entire shop is roughly the size of my bedroom in Chicago.

All in all an excellent day out in London. Tomorrow I'm traveling to meet up with a friend, so probably fewer photos, but day after tomorrow I'm bound for Amsterdam so expect Rijksmuseum photos! I did not get into the Vermeer exhibit sadly, but I still want to see the museum and I'm on a quest for freshly made stroopwaffels and authentic gjetost, so I'm excited for the journey. I thought this trip might be one small anxiety after another -- would I be okay on the plane, would I get on the right trains, etc -- but I'm feeling more confident now, and I think between my early-bird tendencies and the ADHD meds I kicked the jet lag pretty quickly. I'm off to bed in a few, because tomorrow is an early day, so I guess we'll find out then how much I really kicked it....

You run into the tallest man you’ve ever seen in your life at your favorite local coffee shop.

Literally, while moving to your usual seat this giant of a man, not paying attention on his phone, smacks right into you spilling both his and your hot drinks all over you.

It burns, thankfully not that much. Mainly embarrassment and annoyance burn you more. Frustratingly you try to dab away the mess with the pathetic wad of napkins the guy shoves at you.

“Look! Please let me pay for another drink and anything else you want!” Your mystery man

“No it’s fine.” You seethe trying to gather your dignity.

“Aw come on! Those pumpkin cheesecake muffins look pretty good! Don’t you want one?!” He cries almost desperate.

Turning up you’re about to snap at him when you finally get a very good look at your current enemy.

He’s tall with striking cloud white hair. Sleek modern sunglasses slide down his nose as azure pool eyes stay focused on you. And of course he’s absolutely gorgeous.

To save your sanity your eyes dart to the bakery display and spot those muffins he mentioned.

“…okay fine. But I also want a croissant.” You mutter.

He buys you two of each.

You’re also surprised at how adamantly he drags you to sit down at a table.

“We can break bread together over our temporary peace treaty.” He beams.

The man is annoying charming, like a song you find annoying but can’t help but still bop your head to.

He’s new in town, actually moved here all the way from Japan.

“That’s a long way from home.” You admire genuinely. “What brought you out here?”

“Work.” He says simply and with a shrug.

Your mystery man rapidly and eagerly jumps to ask about you, where you work, what you do.

It feels…like a pity conversation. As easy as it is talking to him, you know this is unfolding simply because he ran into you and is trying to just smooth things over.

“Look,” you sigh picking at your croissant. “We don’t have to do this.” You wearily wave your hand between the you and him. “The pathetic small talk and all that. I get it, accidents happen and I appreciate the apology muffin. But you can head out.”

“Don’t forget the ‘I’m a clumsy and unaware idiot’ croissant I got you.” He adds and your lips twitch.

“And come on. I’m not that boring to talk to am I?”

He isn’t and it annoys you even more.

“Besides, who says I maybe just wanna chat with the cute stranger I accidentally spilled various drinks on?” He smile wide at you and it’s dangerous.

He’s dangerous.

Mystery man vows to run into you again same time next week and he is true to his words. In his hands are more pastry treats and your drink order, because of course he remembered.

It’s then that you finally learn his name.

“Gojo, Satoru Gojo.” He introduces himself. “Though you can call me cute coffee guy.” He smoothly adds.

You refuse to call him that and he playfully cries.

Again, it shocks you how just easy it is talking to him. Conversation is casual and so effortless. Gojo eagerly listens to your recommendations about places to visit, restaurants to try out.

“As long as you go with me! I need my own cute tour guide unless I’ll get lost.” Gojo pleads.

You roll your eyes and hate how fast your heart beats at his words.

Then his phone goes off. Sighing Gojo answers it. You give him privacy by looking at your own phone. However, you can’t help but catch bits of the conversation. He talks about a photo shoot scheduled for the end of the week and how his agent will be making any adjustments to the time slot.

And it clicks. He’s a model. He’s definitely a model.

“Sorry, work being dumb.” Gojo apologizes as he hangs up.

“No worries.” You reassure him casually. You realize you never fully asked about his job last time.

“So, what do you do?” This time you make sure to.

Gojo’s wide sky eyes flicker to you as he takes a sip of his tea.

“Oh I’m a professional baseball player.”

He answers so casually while setting his drink down, like he just told you about the weather. For some reason you can’t help but laugh. Because model made sense, but a baseball player?

“What?!” Gojo cries playfully. “I’m serious look!”

Suddenly he grabs his phone again. He quickly types something on it and turns it to you.

What he did was Google himself. Because of course he did. Low and behold, you discover he is indeed not a model.

Instead, you see his broad shoulders, his tall frame, looking infuriatingly gorgeous in a uniform -

And you learn that your mystery coffee man, Satoru Gojo, is in fact a very real and actually very famous professional baseball player.

A total people-pleaser. You have to have multiple stern talks with him about doing whatever his frat brothers ask him to do. He just wants to fit in, but you see their tendency to walk all over him and take advantage of his kindness.

That being said, he is totally cool with making a fool of himself in public. He laughs at himself a lot.

He's really book-smart, but not always street-smart. Common sense sometimes evades him. He'll tutor you in biology but then forget to use oven mitts when pulling something hot out of the oven.

Very intimate in more ways than sex. It isn't a top priority for him. He is very touch-oriented. Every part of him wants to be touching you at all times. He would live him your clothes if he could.

When you got to Mat’s apartment from an early morning photo shoot, you were quick to strip out of your clothes. You’d been feeling a little more warm than usual, so if you could wear less clothing, you would definitely indulge in that option. Mat loved it, too, seeing you walk around in panties and an islanders shirt of his that you had cropped.

“Come here and cuddle me,” you whined from your spot on the couch when he came out of his bedroom.

Mat chuckled and slowly lowered himself so that he was tucked into your side. He has his head resting on your chest and a hand resting on your growing baby bump.

“You’re home late,” he says, knowing that you were supposed to be home 2 hours ago.

“I know. I went to eat lunch because I was starving, and then I might’ve stopped by a little boutique that had a bunch of cute baby things,” you sigh, finally feeling relaxed with your man pressed to you, letting his warmth radiate through your body and even though you were feeling hot earlier, you didn’t mind the heat from your guy.

He looks up at you and frowns; it’s quick but you didn’t miss it.

“You went without me?”

He seems genuinely sad and you try not to let your emotions get the best of you. You didn’t think he’d care to go baby shopping. You were obviously wrong.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t think you’d want to go with me,” you apologize, your palm resting on his cheek, so that you make sure his eyes stay locked with yours.

“Did you buy anything?” He asks through a murmur, seemingly downtrodden at the thought of you shopping for your baby without him.

“No. I didn’t stay there long. Barzy, I’m sorry I didn’t ask you to go with me,” you apologize again.

He just shrugs with a forced smile.

“Ask me next time, please. I would like to pick our baby’s first outfit together,” he whispers into the skin of your collarbone.

Your body warmth is no match for his words, you melt instantly. Most people didn’t see his vulnerable side, but he never had any problems with letting you see it. He was upset that he wasn’t there with you and he wasn’t afraid to let you know.

“Of course. I was actually wanting to go back soon, so maybe we can go tomorrow after your morning skate. If that’s okay with you?”

“I’m down,” he agrees.

You both lay in a comfortable silence for a while. You twist some of his long hair around your finger, and your free hand softly massages wherever you can reach on his back. You’re not completely sure if he’s asleep, his breathing is even, but the subtle movements of his hand on your stomach let you know he’s still awake.

“Next week we get to find out what we’re having,” you break the silence.

“I know. I’m excited. We need to start narrowing down the name list,” Mat replies.

“I can’t believe we’re having a baby. A human that we get to name and raise,” you speak your thoughts.

“It’s crazy, but if anyone can do it, it’s us,” he reassures you.

“True. We need to start setting up the nursery. We also need to do a lot of shopping,” you remind him of the list of things that need to be done.

“I will work it into my schedule, promise.”

“I love you. Thank you for actually wanting to be present,” you whisper, signaling him to come closer so that you can kiss him.

Your lips slot together in a soft, loving kiss. His hand comes up to hold onto the back of your neck, and you turn just a little so that you can attempt to bring your leg to rest on his waist. You fail, but Mat distracts you by deepening the kiss.

“You never have to thank me. I will always be here for the both of you, always willingly,” he speaks into the kiss, making you smile and rub your nose against his.

This man was going to be the best father.
