Something about Yuta being one of the strongest not because he has some fancy technique like gojo and yuki or because he is a literal walking army like geto or not even because he’s just so masterful of everything jujutsu like sukuna.

No he’s one of the strongest simply because he has the power to overwhelm. He has nearly bottomless pits of cursed energy, throw anything you want at him and he will simply outlast and overwhelm.

It really tickles my brain.

I think of any jjk character in terms of the way their power works Yuta is the most comparable to a natural disaster. No finesse, little skill, just the overwhelming destructive power of pure nature/curse energy

i had a question about your latest kenjaku art! did geto have the piercings and they kept them, or did kenjaku get the piercings after taking geto's body? either way i wish the facial piercings were canon they look sooo good🥰🥰🥰

sorry for the late reply oops. this ask and the recent conversation of kenjaku altering the bodies they inhabit after there's no longer any need for pretenses just really got me thinking since it's an idea i never considered before. before i always imagined they just keep the looks of the body as is because it's easier due to the habits ingrained to the muscles of the body. but kenjaku is a silly guy who likes to have fun, i should've thought this sooner

anyway a quick redesign and a not-so quick rant

they'd swap out the ear gauges for ear tunnels, and get a custom centipede ear cuff that goes through the hole. in contrast to tengen i always imagine their OG body to have a more elaborate hairstyle. something in my brain decided kenjaku really likes braids when i designed the eraswap au, so that stuck. they're particularly fond of side-braids; they work as some sort of continuation to the stitches, i don't see why kenjaku wouldn't play more into that trait of theirs

they're a busy brain though, so they can't really do fun hairstyles everyday with their packed schedule. but that's no longer a problem now that they have curses to help them out with. after acquiring tengen they make her help them do their hair. they're normal and well-adjusted like that

i've seen some ppl say they should swap out the buddhist robes, and while i agree it'd be good to distance kenjaku even more from geto i think it'd be thematic if they keep it to spite tengen and her teachings (it also makes a nice pair with uraume's robes). and in relation to that, they also wear beads around their wrist to have a more physical connection with her

I'm gonna be honest I never expected pokemon horizons to be up there as one of my favorite shows currently when I was first intrigued by it last april, but it keeps surpassing my expectations. I'm emotional.

#vi rambling #pokemon #its just. such a joy. i read the interviews with the voice actors last night and it filled me with so many emotions because like...#these voice actors Get their characters. and all the careful details i pick up are very much intentional on the writers and performers part #and its!! SUCH A TREAT!!! to see that the people working on it are just as enthusiastic about it as me.#the mystery being so well set up and the character arcs being so cathartic to watch i feel like im Rewarded for my analysis and noticing #all these details. its just so lovely.#also the fact that this series knows how to prioritize it's cast members so well? our trio is so so great. and i cant believe im saying thi #*this. but there isnt a single character in this series so far that i blatantly dislike. despite the cast being as large as it is.#hell it made me love characters i felt nothing for or straight up disliked in the games. the writing and characterization are that good.#because theyre all quintessential to the main cast's character arcs. idk i just. love this series a lot and im in disbelief it keeps #its level of writing just as high even now. even in this arc that lowered my expectations.#the interviews... bits that stood out to me were definitely ms terasaki noting that amethio looks miserable in the explorers (something tha #is only implied but is conveyed well enough because this series is great at nuanced storytelling)#and ms suzuki saying seeing rika animated made her really excited. me too. i get you. i still freak out whenever shes on screen #and of course their lovely analysis of the characters... mitsuki saiga's portion about liko especially. also anything by yoppi my goat <3 #its just so great to see them appreciate everything and put so much thought into it. man im emotional.#and i say this carefully because admittedly im not huge on the dlc characters coming next chapter. but I'll put my trust in them.#dai sato having worked on bebop and samurai champloo definitely reflects in the writing quality.#anipoke

yk i was working on a post where i tried to guess the next relations event after the kurumi and miiko relations but ig i was gonna be wrong either way bc there wasnt going to be any relations after that lmfao 🥲
