TYPE: Headcannons, Rainy days: It's a rainy day! what do you do to pass the time?

CHARACTERS (separate): Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Denki Kaminari, Eijiro Kirishima, Izuku Midoriya, Hitoshi Shinso, Ochako Uraraka, Tsuyu Asui, Kiyoka Jiro

Can be red as platonic or romantic

SHOTO TODOROKI: Eating favourite food or snacks together

Very chill guy and would sit down with you to enjoy your favourite food together :D

Either you’ll sit in silence or work together on some homework: a good homework helper

No matter what it’d end up pretty quiet because I don’t think he’s very good with small conversations

Once a conversation does get going though he’ll engage and listen very well all you’d have to do is start it

If you end up finishing your food Shoto would end up offering to go get you some more while making himself some more soba

by the end he’s probably smiling a bit while listening to you and nodding along to what your saying

I think Shoto loves hearing stories about you too so if he got you to share some he’d love it

Will tell you a bit about his training since that’s the only thing he’d really know to talk about

KATSUKI BAKUGO: Baking

I know he can cook well but to me it would be the absolute funniest thing if he couldn’t bake if his life depended on it

no matter what this will end up in absolute chaos with a messy kitchen and constant banter and yelling

definitely a time to remember! You would probably be the one to bring up the idea and have to convince him

in the end though you would probably end up with some delicious 5 star deserts

He probably refuses to anything besides cupcakes or chocolate chip cookies though

Will laugh at you if you make a mess and force you to clean it up

Goodluck if you start a flour fight though! :) that’s the start of war and Katsuki won’t stop until he’s won

Took at least half an hour to clean the kitchen though

DENKI KAMINARI: Video games

Firm believer he likes video games and probably anime

Will play any game genre with you however has a preference towards horror or adventure games

If you play dress to impress though he will somehow absolutely destroy you and end up on the podium almost every time

some sort of music or TV show would be playing in the background if you aren’t playing a horror game though

Will scream like a little girl if you play horror games so you gotta prepare for that

Ends in a noise complaint 100%

would willingly try out a bunch of free games with you and rate them together with you

overall it’s an amazing time and I think even if you don’t play he’d still like for you to sit around and watch!

EIJIRO KIRISHIMA: Workout/Training

He likes working out and stuff lots so would invite for you to join him!

Won’t care if you do or don’t participate just enjoys the company and tells some of the best stories

Imagine he’s doing some sort of push ups or sit ups telling you about homework with Katsuki and you’re just sat listening and helping him out

if you do participate though he’ll be your personal cheerleader and always be so helpful and outgoing telling you good job on a constant

Might make a small competition to see who can do more push ups or lift more

Would be open to sparring too for more practice!

Another thing he might do with you on a rainy day is re-dye his hair which would likely end up in chaos and calling Mina in for help

IZUKU MIDORIYA: Movies

Like I’ve said before he probably really likes documentary movies and would invite you to watch one!

Wont mind if you end up choosing a different type of movie though as long as the two of you get to watch something together it makes him happy

Additionally won’t care if you’re doing work or scrolling through social media while watching I think he just likes having your company

If you are watching a documentary movie though be prepared for him to pause and rant about how a fact isn’t correct

So if you don’t like that he might not be the best person to watch a movie with!

If you end up falling asleep at any point though he’d cover you with a blanket or something along the lines of that and turn the volume down slightly so you won’t end up woken up

Will bring out an all might blanket to have whilst watching the movie too as well as some snacks! :D

Likely makes mental note of your favourites and buys some or at the very least grabs whatever you’d like from the dorm kitchen!

HITOSHI SHINSO: Naptime

He’s so sleep deprived and without a doubt takes naps

And when it starts raining? I mean come on we all know that’s perfect napping time

It would take awhile before he invites you to be his napping buddy but once you are it’s the absolute best

He probably has some of the comfiest pillows and blankets and the two of you bring out a small mat he has in his closet for sleepovers and just nap in the same room

Might also put on some sort of show as background noise if you need it or if you just don’t feel like napping

Adding onto that if you don’t wanna take a nap or just don’t feel tired he’d probably just leave you to your own devices and let you do whatever you’d like as long as you’re quiet

Won’t pressure you to nap with him would more like casually offer it on a rainy day to see if you’d like to join

OCHAKO URARAKA: Arts + crafts

Like I’ve said in a previous headcannon I think Uraraka enjoys doing little crafts like making bracelets together or painting stuff like that!

if you aren’t doing a messy craft you’d end up in a pile of pillows and blankets on the floor I think

if you end up making bracelets together I think she’d absolutely adore making matching ones together :))

Or something like switching canvases or papers every couple of minutes!!

I am a firm believer she listens to lofi beats so that would be playing in the background

warm lighting, silly banter and crafts, rain, and calming music, the vibes would be immaculate

After the stuff you two made is either hanging up somewhere in her dorm or she’s proudly wearing it around! :)

if you make little charms or something along those lines she would keep it in her costume for keepsakes much like the all might gift she received around the holidays episode

TSUYU ASUI: Playing in the rain

I know it’s a bit cliché, but from what we know about Tsu liking water I’m a firm believer that she likes the rain

Jumping, dancing, running around anything is on the table

She wouldn’t pressure you into playing with her, she would definitely enjoy it if you did however she’d be fine if you watched from inside or just on some steps under a roof

Building on that she probably is a very flexible person and wouldn’t mind just watching the rain with you if you don’t wanna get wet but still wanna spend time together :))

If you do end up playing in the rain together you’d probably both come back in with soaked clothes and muddy pants!

definitely calls it one of her favourite memories with you and probably asked to take a couple of photos together to remember the occasion

KIYOKA JIRO: Learning instruments + listening to music

Jiro loves music we know that from the UA carnival concert ordeal thingy (idk what it’s called man)

I think it’s sorta like a love language of hers to teach music to the people around her

So if you’re open to it and willing to try she’d love to take advantage of the bad weather and teach you how to play an instrument

I’d say she’s pretty understanding if you have noise sensitivities or just aren’t willing to learn anything though

So if you aren’t too keen on it though or maybe you just don’t like loud noises she’s also spend time sharing her music with you :)

You’d be in her room just exchanging songs and such, she wouldn’t pressure to share songs either but would absolutely adore it if you did

After awhile if she ended up with a good knowledge of your music taste she would make a playlist and that’s the one she’d play every rainy day or in general time she spends with you!

Would be willing to paint nails or work on homework whilst listening

He'll cook for you.

No one argues with this; he's literally your personal chef.

He'll always make sure you eat well, whether you're a big eater or not.

This damn guy will literally stuff your stomach and cook for you anytime.

You can wake him up even at 2 a.m., and he won't mind, like:

"Hey, Katsu... I'm feeling kinda hungry... so-"

"Shut up, I already know."

And boom, he'll get up to cook a delicious meal for you and make sure you go to sleep feeling full.

He also loves styling your hair, no matter the type.

Straight, wavy, curly, it doesn't matter.

Just tell him how you want your hair, and he'll do it professionally.

He does most of the chores for you, like cooking, washing dishes, doing laundry, etc.

He absolutely hates seeing you tired or exhausted; he sees himself strong enough to do everything.

"You weren't created for exhaustion, not even your beautiful ass deserves to be tired from sitting."

Another reason he always holds you in his arms when you're alone together.

He always brings snacks for you at school.

At the end of each class, he turns around to give you candy or chocolate to keep you energized.

(He completely refuses to admit he brought them for you, always saying he got them by chance.)

When you're sitting in the dorm with others, he lets you rest your head on his shoulder if you're tired.

He absolutely doesn't let you go downstairs; he always carries you bridal style while going down while you're in his arms.

His excuse is that you're too foolish and will definitely trip and fall and hurt yourself.

Wherever you are, he walks behind you and gives death glares to anyone who dares to stare at you.

He also makes sure every day that he's the first person to say good morning or goodnight to you, whether in person or through messages.

He's not a big person with words, but he makes sure to say "I love you" enough times because he knows it makes you happy.

Believe me, he's just there for your happiness (I would die for this man).

This boy is the epitome of sweetness.

He's not just a green flag, he's the whole forest.

One thing I'm sure of is that he'll take notes for you during classes.

Even if you've already taken your own notes, he doesn't mind.

He has a sixth sense about you, so for example, whenever something bad happens to you, he's already there to fix it.

He's 100% ready to defend you against anyone and doesn't feel embarrassed to stand up to them either.

He carries your bag for you on the way to school and back to the dorm, insisting on it even when you say it's okay.

He loves sharing his food with you; he always does.

No matter what it is, he always makes sure you take at least a bite of it.

"I don't taste the food's flavor until I share it with you."

He always keeps your hands intertwined and makes sure you're close to him, especially in crowds.

Every day, he makes sure to kiss you on the cheek and tell you how perfect you are, how lucky he is to have you, and how much he loves you.

This guy is literally like a character from books.

He has a top-notch degree in princess treatment.

He buys you anything you want, no matter what.

Even if it's a car plated with gold, he'll always fulfill your desires.

He flirts with you, but in poetic ways.

For example, he reads a love quote or a poem and makes sure to dedicate it to you.

Either he writes it for you on a paper and places it on your desk in your room before you wake up, or he whispers it in your ear just to drive you crazy.

He loves seeing you shy and flustered.

He also buys you books, a lot of them.

The reason for that is your talk about a story or a novel.

Be sure that by tomorrow he'll present you with the entire book series along with a red rose.

"Shoto! You didn't have to do that!"

He lets you do anything to him literally.

Braiding his hair, putting makeup on him, dressing him up as you wish... etc.

This man is literally carrying your bags when he takes you shopping.

And he doesn't complain; it gives him a sense that he's your strong man.

He also allows you to try makeup on the back of his hand.

He carries you on his back if you feel tired from walking.

Or in other words, if he feels it, which means he always carries you on his back.

So you won't tire from something as silly as walking.

He knows that everyone is looking at both of you, but does he care? Of course not.

(I feel like he's read "The Art of Indifference" at least 100 times.)

He's the kind of guy who allows you to wear anything you want.

You might come to him not sure about your clothes, and he simply shrugs in indifference.

"Wear whatever you want; I can fight."

(But not too revealing because you won't get away with it.)

One of his greatest features is that he uses his quirk to either warm you up or cool you down according to the weather.

He always gives you his jacket even without you asking because he knows that his scent calms you down and also ensures that you're warm.

Like the others, he makes sure you eat well and goes crazy if he knows you haven't.

(I think this is an Asian thing...)

This might seem gross, but on the contrary, it's not the case for him, but he allows you to spit out the food you didn't like on his hand.

He tells you to do it in the most poetic expression ever.

He hugs you a lot, first because he loves being close to you and secondly to stick his scent to you, so people can smell you and know that you're his

hehe imagine if Deku had a twin sibling who was a big Hawks fan (but is more low-key about it) and coincidentally had a recessive quirk that gave them 2 pairs of retractable wings

AHH i LOVE these platonic au's!

we're going bullet point form!

• izuku has a twin sister? 🤨 her name? isaki!!

• isaki, just like her brother, doesn't hold much height! she's around 5 feet tall, very defensive about it! she's got the same green curly hair but longer! she has freakles and glasses (courtesy of her reading late at night in the dark and unlucky genetics.)

• anyway, contrary to her brother, she has a quirk. she got it when she was five and absolutely went batshit crazy when feathers sprouted out of her back a random saturday morning. she ran straight to izuku and he was no help whatsoever. he screamed louder than her!

• over the years her quirk has grown and developed! for a bit she ended up randomly floating causing a massive panic to her mother and amusement from her brother. her wings had grown into large black wings that resembles a crows.

• she's gained many nicknames from people. from her mother, dove. from her brother, saki and raven! katsuki however calls her shadow for an array of unfortunate reasons but at least she doesn't get the same treatment as her brother!!

• when the midoriya twins turned 12 a new hero made his way onto the scene! an 18 year old with his own company??!?!? suddenly in the top 10 in only 6 months???? WHAT?!?

• hawks having an amazing reputation like this immediately after debuting had him have eyes on him constantly! and isaki wasn't any different!

• while her brother was OBSESSED with all might since they were kids, she had only idolised him a bit. he was 100% her biggest inspiration and thought only the most highly of him but she never wanted to be a hero until she saw hawks! I mean she practically bounced off the walls when she saw someone with a similar quirk!

• over the next 2 years she had slowly built a merch a collection, a pathetic one really because she mostly used her pocket money for food and books while her brother never really used his money for anything but all might!

•her merch collection includes a few posters, 3 hoodies, an action figure and a bobble head as well as some limited edition sneakers that she'll NEVER admit she qued overnight for.

• similar to her twin brother, she also keeps a little notebooks. she however keeps about 4? 2 for hawks and 2 for everyone else. after deciding she'd like to follow her quirkless brother and his deranged frenemy to ua, she starts assessing some of her favourite heroes, namely hawks and his techniques and how to utilise them.

• so from ages 13-15 you'll just see an isaki midoriya flying around in her backyard practicing moves she learnt from hawks via the internet.

• when izuku had started his 10 month intense training with a mystery man izuku hadn't told her about, she decided to start her own 10 month training. hers however contained a gym and her doing combat training with whoever was training there too and up for it! there she met tenya iida! story for another time.

• however, about 5 months into her training, she had particularly drained herself that day. because of this she was barely paying attention to her surroundings. it was quite a shock to her when she had been suddenly grabbed from the ground and sped off about a block away when where she once was!

• who was it? pro hero hawks of course! naturally, isaki was completely star struck. she could not BELIEVE who was standing in front of her right now!!! she was barely listening to him warning her to watch where she's walking so she doesn't get run over by a car (she walked into traffic, whoops!) she snapped out of trance when she heard him say, "nice wings, kid" before he was gone.

•isaki flew home and screamed into her pillow!!! she couldn't believe that happened! HE COMPLIMENTED HER WINGS!!!!!! she was so close to him! practically hugging him! (delusion)

• upon her screaming her mother and brother enter her room, curious, afraid and wanting answers.

• she looks up from her pillow, pink faced and hyperventilating, "HE SAID I HAVE NICE WINGS!!" her wings start fluttering creating a small breeze. it's a small habit she picked up from when she was little. her little family chuckled at her words. "Who??" "That guy from the gym??" "NO HAWKS. I CAN DIE HAPPY."

• isaki is now laying on the ground while her brothers jaw is slack and her mother leaves, giggling to herself.

• "YOU MET NUMBER 3 HERO HAWKS??!!" "YEAH WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY ALMOST WALKED INTO TRAFFIC!!!!" "WHAT?!"

• needless to say, she wore her hoodie and limited edition sneakers to bed that night.

Child's Favorite Hero - BNHA Boys Preference

Anime: Boku no Hero Academia

Gender Neutral! Can be biological or adopted child, it matters not! no names or gender for the child either.

Ask for anyone else, boys or girls if you'd like! I just thought of this at like 3am and went with it.

Bakugo Katsuki:

If your child says he's their favorite hero:,, he is so preening. Of course he's their favorite, he's the best of the best. His kid of all would know that too.

If your child says some other extra hero is their favorite: ?? Bakugo is furious. Ready to throw hands. 100% has gone toe to toe with some of his old classmates friends for being their favorite. You try reminding him they change their mind every week but he's already challenging Tokoyami to a death match.

Midoriya Izuku:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: He will cry. Even if they've been saying it for years, every time they tell him he's their favorite hero he WILL burst into tears. Over time it will be watery eyes instead of break-the-concrete-waterworks, but he will always be emotional and so happy they he can make them proud.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: Absolutely agrees with them! He's supportive of all hero and his friends and has appreciated every kind of hero! He's not jealous at all and loves helping them collect merch and ask for autographs for their 'best little fan' (alongside one for him too) and they bond over it.

Shouto Todoroki:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: He will be very surprised, though he's a strong and popular hero, he never really thought of what his child might think of him. He loved All Might at their age and never put too much thought into who they might admire, but when he finds out it's him, that he makes them happy, he becomes so very soft and hugs them. Shows up every time they ask after bragging that Pro Hero Shouto (The Best Hero!) is their dad.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: Diligently listens to all their rants about their favorite hero! He's happy to encourage their love of heroes like he was never allowed, and will ask Midoriya for recommendations on merch his child might like. Bluntly asks the hero (even if their favorite frequently changes) for an autograph and tells them their his child's favorite hero, becomes very worried that he just made this up and coming sidekick hero turn to a literal puddle of tears.

Kirishima Eijirou:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Manly tears, Deku challenging tears, he is so emotional. Kirishima always worried that he wouldn't measure up to other heroes, he's not the flashiest, not the strongest on the field, he's happy and comfortable with what he's achieved! But to hear he's their favorite? He loves your kid with all his heart already but now he's about to burst. You find him on his knees crying while they pat his back. Proudly brags he's their favorite.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: He takes them to meet their hero! Eiji loves listening to them go on about why they like them and tells them how manly their hero is from experience. Will definitely get them merch like posters and hoodies, especially if they're not as popular a hero! He worked so hard for his Crimson Riot merch.

Kaminari Denki:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Oh man he is so stoked, listen he is a popular hero, fun and flashy, a Present Mic protege, but the fact this HIS KID thinks he's the greatest? Now that's something to be proud of. He brags about it in groupchat immediately. Hugs them as soon as they say it. If he didn't have such a good handle on his quirk, he would have fried himself from happiness.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: He doesn't really notice how that mean's He's Not the best to them, Kami joins in on their praising of them! He is all for lifting up his fellow heroes and will tell them his greatest stories involving them, even if they're not close or really the nicest hero, he wont dampen your kid's view of them. Definitely takes them along to a function they'll be at without telling his kid.

Tokoyami Fumikage:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: He is very flattered at the praise of his young one, even for his little ray of light in the darkness of his world he did not expect to be seen in such a way. He tells them stories of his heroics (greatly embellished by Dark Shadow) and is very happy each time he hears your child say something about it.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: His child, biological or not, who follows him like another little shadow, standing beside him with a schooled expression and invites Dark Shadow to all their tea parties, speaks in the same dramatic dark prose as their father, favors the retired washing machine. Tokoyami isn't really sure what to make of that. He's not really a jealous guy but that stung a little. You remind him that they're only three. But they keep talking about how 'cool 'dark and mysterious' the appliance is.

Shinsou Hitoshi:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Shinsou has never been open or good with his own emotions, but he needs to go take a moment to himself after he hears this. After so much of his life being told he'd be a villain, working so hard to become a hero, Shinsou never thought he'd be someone's favorite hero. Even to his own child. They're often around flashier popular heroes, friends and old classmates he will never shake, with a collection of action figures and hero toys, but somehow HE'S the best in their eyes. Tells Aizawa about it immediately even though he really isn't saying much in shock.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: He's very interested in who their favorite is and in their reasoning, part of his reason for adoring Eraserhead was what they had in common, curious if your child is the same in choosing. Not as outgoing with Hero Connections as some of the others but Midoriya will not let him down when he asks for your kid to get to meet them, even if Shinsou himself is very stressed about the meeting.

Mirio Togata:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Proud Dad Moment. You and your kid(s) are always his top priority and he wants to make you both proud, as person and as a hero. But to be told he's their FAVORITE? Wraps them in a big hug and says they're his favorite too. You bring it up later to tease him about their gushing about "The best hero Lemillion" and he gets so flustered.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: Loves asking why that's their favorite and encourages them to talk about it! If he's met or worked with the hero he tells them all about it! Buys them a nice merch hoodie of theirs right after, he's so proud if it's one of his friends too (if it's Tamaki he will never hear the end of it). He likes telling them about his favorites too (but has them pinky promise not to tell.)

Tamaki Amajiki:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Please give him a minute, he is babie. Even after he's gained a lot of confidence overtime he still gets overwhelmed and never stops being shocked at his own popularity. But when his child? his greatest joy? says he's "The coolest and bestes hero there is!"?? He can't take it and wants to hide in your arms like old times. Mirio got the whole thing on video and he listens to it again at times.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: He may be surprised by their choice but definitely listens! There's so many neat and strong heroes and wondered who they might like. If they ask him to let them meet their hero,, he asks Mirio to do it. Unless it's one of the handful of heroes that show up at his house already (Fatgum, Kirishima, Mirio, Midoriya), that's just. A lot.

Toshinori Yagi:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: He may be one of the most loved and popular heroes in the world but he is so surprised and happy hearing them say he's their favorite! You're a little confused he's so affected but Toshinori is a soft man who loves your child and hearing he makes them proud has made him so happy. "I AM HERE!" (said in All Might form, with many tears, before coughing blood.) Also breaks down when they still say he's the best hero even though he can no longer be All Might.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: A little sad but not butthurt. You will find him moping around the corner after hearing them. He loves his fellow heroes and supports their decision and takes them to meet them! But also tries to "subtly" buy them extra All Might merch too... It's okay Toshinori. Midoriya still loves you.

Aizawa Shouta:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Somehow this man who has never cared about popularity, is a pretty unknown underground hero with a 'dull' quirk, eyebags for days, and doesn't even like children (lies), has become the favorite hero of his own three kids. He understood Shinsou's admiration from similarities, and Eri has other heroes she loves, but your kid thinks he's the best too? Honestly he's very shocked but adorably flattered by it. Let's Mic talk him into one (1) small merch deal because they wanted something of their #1 Dad and #1 Hero.

If your child says a different hero is their favorite: He's not surprised but will 100% critique their favorites and possibly chastise why, he will give them his personal accounts of the hero and grumble his own opinions while they gush over their favorite, but wont discourage them. Is frankly concerned if it's Dynamight though.

Yamada Hizashi:

If your child says he's their favorite hero: Pray that Shouta is around when they tell him this or you'll all have hearing loss. He is happy, he is SO happy that his favorite little listener thinks he's the greatest hero!! If your child says a different hero is their favorite: He droops, pouts, whines to you, Shouta, the entire teacher staff. He's not mad but definitely tries to suggest mention that he's a pretty cool hero too... He is wounded for life and needs kisses. Your child even slightly mentions that he's 'kinda cool too' and he takes that as a WIN, he is kinda cool. The coolest.

I thought everyone was exaggerating when people kept bringing up the whole “bakugou says he’s Kacchan bc of kaminari” thing, but they actually believe that… what?

Literally how do you guys function

It’s such a stretch too. Like “oh yeah he said Kacchan no Bakugou in this movie” ITS NOT EVEN IN THE MANGA HELLO???

The whole reason Kaminari calls Katsuki Kacchan is because he’s making fun of him. It’s poking fun at the fact that Katsuki can’t say anything or get mad at Kaminari because then it would raise the question, “Well why can Midoriya say it?”

He literally side eyes him every time he does it but ultimately doesn’t react because he can’t. He can’t if he wants to keep up the act that he is uninterested in what Izuku represents, who he is.

SO WHY, IN THE EVER LOVING FUCK, WOULD IT BE KAMINARI?

WHO is present in this battle?

WHO is the person that made eye contact with him the second he woke up?

WHO is the one that grabbed his hand immediately upon Katsuki flinging himself towards them??

I don’t think THEY even believe it either, I think it’s just some way to cope and explain away the fact that this moment is inherently romantic.

Because I don’t think he’s making fun of the name Kacchan, I think he’s wearing it proudly. I don’t think it’s a joke at all. It’s a joke in the disbelieving way—the way you act when you’ve made an enormous accomplishment or won some prize, and you just can’t help but act absolutely insane at the fact. Because it’s funny that you’re here, in this situation. It’s hilarious in that disbelieving way.

Because he’s laughing at the truth, he’s been laughing at nothing this ENTIRE CHAPTER.

“Ouch! Haha! I’m so fast!”

“I can’t even stop! Ha! Ouch!”

Note: (I’m not using the official translations because for some reason they lack the maniacal crazed laughter and I’m confused as to why?? I even checked with pikahlua and they specified that there was laughing so…. I’m confused.)

What’s even weirder about this is the fact that afo also says (in pikahlua’s translations) “just who is this brat?!” Instead of “what is wrong with him” which implies less crazed bakugou ness imo. Confused as to why, again.

Because this can’t be happening.

Now, I know it could very well be him teasing afo and calling him dumb, saying basically “you’re too young/old to even know how to pronounce my name, use Kacchan instead like the child you are.” Especially since in the context of names like Katsuki’s, he has that tsu sound that can be hard for children to pronounce. (I’m not 100% on this but I’m pretty sure that the u sound is also meant to be silent since it’s a double consonant. So Katsuki’s name is technically pronounced “Ka-ts-ki”)

BUT IDK I THINK HES JUST FUCKED AND A LITTLE CRAZY RN!

That maniacal laughter at the fact that he’s in pain, the disbelief that he may even surpass Izuku, to me it’s holding a double meaning. The meaning that afo is dumb and needs to be treated like the child he is, and the meaning behind the fact that it’s a name Izuku owns for him. That’s his.

It can be both.

It’s not fucking Kaminari. It was never Kaminari. Even if you don’t read it as the second definition it’s still not about Kaminari.

But it’s also undeniable that it has to do with Izuku some way some how.

I also believe that the western side of the fandom is making an extra big deal out of this because, to us, we don’t really have a proper understanding of what a nickname like Kacchan means in its cultural context.

We can TRY to understand, comparing it to endings with ie or y given to children, and then sometimes going with that nickname into adulthood, but it still has its own distinct cultural context. Because a name like “Gracie” over “Grace” does to an extent sound childish, but I have a feeling that -chan has its own childish feeling. There’s a reason none of Katsuki’s other friends in middle school call him Kacchan, and there’s a reason Kaminari decides to make fun of him for the name in the first place.

I just think it’s important to use our thinking brains before we start yapping about things we don’t quite understand yet :)

Like it’s so unbelievably important to understand that horikoshi won’t tell you what’s happening in his story and why, he’ll show you instead BECAUSE HES A GOOD FUCKING WRITER

If it was about Kaminari, he would have specified, but he didn’t. He showed you that Kacchan is Izuku’s nickname for Katsuki, and he showed you that Katsuki cared more about Izuku than he let on for a long time. Just like he showed you that Izuku pushes down his emotions, showed you that Izuku struggles with projection and anger, showed you that Ochako was the one with this crush and not Izuku, and showed you that the feelings he had about Katsuki were deeper than anyone had realized.

He showed you parallels, he specified the important parallels that you absolutely had to see as a viewer (ex toga and ochako), just as he showed you the ones that were more subtle but still there (ex toga and deku). He showed you the pieces, and that doesn’t make his character’s underdeveloped or unspecified, that’s just how writing fucking works. “Good writing” DOESNT MEAN that you have to be pulled along through your baby steps with your hand held, the fact that you don’t get it is on you. Reading comprehension is a learned skill that has to be practiced over and over again, and that is not the writers job. The writer is only supposed to deliver you their story, and however you decide to misconstrue that story is, and hear me out friends, on you.

So I’m sorry if I’m tired of hearing arguments like “toga is a predator and Horikoshi wrote her to be horny”… she’s supposed to represent love. I’m sorry if the representation he made of love was uncomfortable for you, but maybe that’s the point? Because she’s an outcast? Because she’s supposed to be hard to empathize with, but that we have to empathize in the first place?

Arguments like “Katsuki was referencing a joke about Kaminari bc Kaminari said this in this movie” is just about the largest fucking reach I’ve ever seen. And I know, I know that when bkdk eventually get their implied or canonical ending that people are going to be mad. They’ll blame shippers for pressuring him, or they’ll say he’s a bad writer, or they’ll send him homophobic slurs because “how dare the character I see myself in be gay”. And I’m done with the stupidity and lack of common god damn sense.

So if you are going to be upset by the fact that you’re going to be proven wrong, then I again say, it’s on you.

🍵Momo Yaoyorozu🍵

- If you hugged Momo she wouldn’t mind at all she would softly hug you back. If she enjoys your company then she certainly wouldn’t mind your hugs.

- If you hug her tightly then she would be surprised at how tight you can hug, I feel like she would rather a soft hug.

- Momo would find it adorable if you hugged her softly.

🍡Ochako Uraraka 🍡

- She would be shocked and flustered at first because she wasn’t expecting it but after her shock she would be really happy but still kinda flustered.

- Uraraka absolutely loves really tight hugs it will improve her mood a lot if you gave her a really tight hug.

- She sometimes gets embarrassed if you hug her around others, she sometimes finds it overwhelming.

👽Mina Ashido👽

- This girl gets so excited as soon as she feels your arms wrap around her. Like Ochako, Mina gets really happy but ten times more happy.

- Mina like the wild hugs.

- For example, she would run up to you and hug you extremely tightly even lifting you up in the air or rocking you both side to side very fast. Sometimes you two fall onto the ground.

🔥Shoto Todoroki🧊

- He would be confused at first, out of everyone why would you choose him to hug he thinks to himself.

- Shoto would be a little bit tense, due to him not receiving much good physical contact.

- He doesn’t prefer a specific hug, if you give him any type of hug then he’ll appreciate it.

- He would probably think that something is wrong. He would ask if you are okay or if you need anything.

- Now Shoto is tense but Iida, Iida is TWENTY TIMES more tense it’s cannon. If you have seen the anime then you would agree.

- He wouldn’t mind hugs, he will hug you back but he will always ask if you are okay first.

🥦Izuku Midoriya🥦

- He will definitely freeze up the first time you hug him, after that he would get more flustered than Ochako would.

- Once he gets used to you hugging him then he will start getting more and more comfortable and won’t freeze up as much.

- Midoriya will take note of your favorite types of hugs in his notebook.

🦅Fumikage Tokoyami 🦅

- He would have no reaction, he would just look at you and ask if you’re alright.

- I feel like Tokoyami would like the arm type of hugs or whatever it’s called. The type of hugs that you wrap your arms around his arm.

- He probably wouldn’t hug back, in a very very rare occasion he would hug you back. (It’s cannon that dark shadow would join in with you guys)

💥Katsuki Bakugo💥

- He would be shocked and then he would act like he’s pissed off. If you hug him around other people then he will yell and say the usual “GET OFF ME YOU DAMN EXTRA!!”

- If you hug him and there is no one around then he won’t yell as much, he would just say “WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING!!” But he would let you hug him, he will just act like it pisses him off.

for a long time he'd just use whatever momo or his mom recommended to him

when he started dating you and you asked about his skincare routine, he was the definition of confused

he was like

"i wash it??"

"no, but like with what product, sweetheart?"

despite not having much of a routine for himself, he will buy you WHATEVER you want

does not matter if the product costs more than the fucking moon

he'll have at least two bottles of it in your house at all times so you never run out

whenever he visits the store or has an assistant out shopping for him, he'll ask if you need anything (applies to basically everything but especially selfcare items)

when you do a facemask with him your favorite part is tying back his hair and giving him a tiny little sprout on the top of his head

also melts when you massage hair oil into his scalp

but he likes to give you massages more

could be with lotion or body wash, doesn't matter

will heat and/or cool his body depending on what you need

he likes running his hands over your skin until you're on the verge of falling asleep

and then he'll just lie down next to you and press his body against yours

Midoriya Izuku

doesn't really know much about skincare but is very eager to learn!!

sometimes uses toner if you remind him but he doesn't really need it since his skin doesn't get super oily

because of his quirk, they can get really, really rough and dry

Comforting Their SO - BNHA

PART 1

Bakugou Katsuki

I feel like Katsuki would be the type to be openly worried about you, one of the only times he'd show an emotion other than anger in public. He would know exactly what to do simply from observing what previously cheered you up in the past!

~ Katsuki returns home to the apartment you share, only to see you sat cuddled up on the couch crying. ~ Immediately worried something bad had happened, Katsuki begins looking around your home for intruders or something that was out of place. ~ When he finds nothing, he races over to you. ~ "Teddy Bear," He whispered, kneeling on the floor in front of you, "What happened, are you okay?" He was racing through his words, worried you were hurt. ~ Since UA, Katsuki had to get used to the idea of being more quiet around you, sometimes being too quiet so he doesn't upset you further. It was a difficult change, but one he was willing to make. ~ Still weeping, you held up your favourite book, mumbling through your words, something about a character dying, or was it about a couple finally being canon, or maybe just a character you thought was cute? ~ Sighing to himself, Katsuki made himself comfortable in the blankets next to you, holding you close as you cried, knowing to just let you do your own thing whilst cuddling you. ~ "This happens too often dumbass." He tells you fondly, as he picks up the phone to order food in, knowing you won't let him leave you for any reason.

Izuku Midoriya

If you were upset, Izuku would 100% go into overdrive, first, completely wracked with worry, but then his hero brain would take over, he would calm down, assess the situation and make sure that you're okay!

~ Snuggled up on the couch with Izuku was one of the greatest gifts that you had been given. ~ Even though he got flustered relatively easily, there was one thing he was perfectly comfortable with, something he had sought out since high school, even now that he was a pro hero. ~ Cuddles. ~ Whether he was the big spoon or the little spoon, you know just how much he loves cuddling with you, he tells you so as he whines as you stand up to cook the two of you dinner. ~ Smiling and humming to yourself as you cook, you hardly notice just how hot the stove was getting until you grabbed the metal handle of the pan and flinched, pulling away and letting out a small yelp of pain. ~ Izuku, hearing your voice, shot from his seat on the couch and into the kitchen faster than a freight train. ~ Seeing you holding your hand to your chest, small tears in the corners of your eyes, he began running the cold water, gently grabbing your wrist. ~ After keeping your hand under the water for ten minutes or so and noticing there was no redness or blisters, he held your hand in both of his larger ones, kissing each of your fingers. ~ "You need to be more careful Puppy."

Shoto Todoroki

Shoto was always stoic, but I feel like when you're upset or need the comfort, he'd be even more so. He knows you need a rock, someone to lean on, he could absolutely be that person, even if he wasn't all that good at noticing social cues, he knew when his partner was upset.

~ When it came to you, Shoto was more serious than ever. ~ Especially when you were hurt or upset. ~ It just so happens, that today was one of those days, you had gotten a call from the hospital that a close relative of yours had been in an accident. ~ When you had called Shoto in tears, he knew something was wrong and was already leaving his agency when you told him what had happened. ~ Whilst he was thankful that you weren't the one that was hurt or in any danger, he knew you weren't okay and rushed home to take care of you. ~ Shoto wasn't much for PDA, but when the two of you were behind closed doors, he usually couldn't get enough, loving your fingers running through his bi-coloured hair, or resting his head on your chest and listening to your heartbeat. ~ But he knew that you needed to be loved more than himself right now, he held you close, stroking your hair and keeping your head close to his chest as he tried to calm you down. ~ "It's alright my love, I'll always be here."

Eijiro Kirishima

I feel like depending on the situation, Eiji would have to choose between being there for you and just joining in the sob fest! He's an emotional baby and sometimes, the best comfort is knowing that you're not going through it alone!

~ We all know that Eijiro is just the most cheerful and sweetest shark boy that has ever lived. ~ Which means that when you're upset, he'll probably get upset too. ~ When he came home and saw you watching one of your favourite shows (a show that you had watched to completion a dozen times) and eating ice cream from the carton, he knew what he was in for. ~ Even though he may not know the show, or might not be into it, he will still grab a spoon from the kitchen and join you on the couch. ~ When Katsuki called him an hour later, asking where he had gotten to, all he heard was the muffled tears of Eijiro and his partner. ~ "That was so manly!" He cried, watching the main character save his lover. ~ "I promise you Gumdrop, I will save you like that someday." ~ Realising that that would make you in danger, he quickly revoked that sentence and came up with something to cheer you up. ~ "From the dreaded housework that you hate so much!" He cheered, wiping his tears, picking you up bridal style and dancing around the room.

Denki Kaminari

Denki was an absolute mess when you were upset, he had no idea what he was doing! But usually you found it cute! He would definitely try the things that would make him cheer up before asking Mina what to do...

~ Denki would have worked quickly in the relationship, you were no longer just a couple living together, you were engaged. ~ And Denki STILL didn't know how to comfort you without making it worse. ~ Whether you hurt yourself, were too worried about him or just upset for the sake of being upset, (many people are, it's okay!) Denki would tip-toe around you, trying to make it better. ~ Eventually he would make it up to you, but until then, just picture the blonde dunce trying to hug you or stroke your hair, only to back down when you moved slightly or sniffed. [Bonus: I can also see him accidentally hurting you trying to fix something. Like, he tries to dry your tears, only to poke you in the eye.] ~ You think it's adorable that he is trying not to make it worse but is failing spectacularly, this usually cheers you up. ~ And when he finally gets the dumb idea to buy you the biggest teddy bear he could find, a grin lifts onto your face and in turn, his as well. ~ The amount of stuffed animals you now have in your shared apartment is ridiculous, as every time you get upset, he dances on eggshells around you until he caves and buys you a giant cuddly toy. ~ "Sorry I'm a bit bad at this darlin', I'm sure I'll get better… Eventually!"

Hitoshi Shinso

Primarily, the only things that Hitoshi would have to comfort you for, are things that he's done... Something that he knew you'd get mad at him for, but would do anyway...

~ You and Hitoshi are the perfect couple in everyone's eyes. ~ But it isn't always easy. ~ Whether its a stupid argument about who left the the lights on, or maybe you're worried about him and his job and when you shout about it he rolls his eyes at your 'needless worry'. ~ If you're wondering why that second example was so specific, it's because that's exactly what happened. ~ Hitoshi had gotten himself hurt whilst he was out fighting a villain on patrol, he didn't have any back up but went ahead with the fight anyway. ~ When he came home, he knew there would be a fight from you. And he was right. ~ You were furious that he had intentionally put himself in harm's way. Even if he was a hero, there was a difference between being a hero and being an idiot, even if he didn't see it. ~ After the shouting would stop, you would stop talking to him entirely, realising it was all going over his head and he wasn't listening. You stormed off to the bedroom to lie down and cry. ~ Hitoshi would give you some time to calm down, which killed him. ~ Knowing you were upset and that he had caused it hurt him deeply and as much as he wanted to run to you, he knew there was no point until you had calmed down. ~ After ten minutes or so, he couldn't stand it anymore and jogged to the bedroom, he lay down behind you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his chest and squeezing slightly. ~ "I'm so sorry Kitten, I promise I won't do it again."

@greenhappyseed​ and I were having a lovely discussion over internet tea until we accidentally on purpose stumbled upon the MHA ending hahahahaha SIT DOWN, KIDS.

I’ll tell you how it’s gonna go. I’m gonna tell you everything important that you need to know. (With...one exception, which is the HOW EXACTLY??? But fear not because I’m sure Horikoshi will fill in the blanks to make this happen. It’s gonna fucking happen. Certainly. Probably. I’m maybe 100% sure.)

I’m gonna try not to be super wordy. I’ll just explain the dots we have connected with pictures. And I’m gonna laugh my ass off the whole way through it.

(Little did I realize how hilariously, literally correct I was.)

Oh, uh, probable spoilers warning? Like really, you should be absolutely sure you wanna read this before you do. Because, you know, it might just spoil everything. At least everything to do with Izuku, Katsuki, and Tomura.

Okay, let’s start with the big one.

What the fuck is going on in this picture? That’s the big question everyone’s been asking for months now. What the hell? Where is this? What is happening? By what means would Katsuki suddenly be able to see All Might’s vestige in some nebulous space not of the real world probably? What the hell????????

No, seriously, what happened? Is this how Katsuki died? This is all super ambiguous! Did his heart explode? Did Tomura destroy Katsuki’s heart when he struck him in the chest? DID he strike him in the chest?? What the hell am I looking at???

These are the questions I plan to answer with the following points, and it will consequently lead us directly to the ending.

Stay with me on this one.

When this chapter came out, a lot of people speculated that somehow Katsuki entered Izuku’s vestige world, which is why All Might’s vestige is there. In fact, Katsuki may have made it to Izuku’s world BECAUSE of something to do with All Might’s vestige. Additionally, many people thought Katsuki’s heart exploded on its own, and that’s probably a deliberately ambiguous mystery. Horikoshi went to great lengths to HIDE the correct angle that would show us what exactly is happening in the final image above.

But consider this hypothesis:

Katsuki didn’t enter Izuku’s vestige world--he entered Tomura’s.

Tomura’s vestige world has a white background too. It’s just All For One’s corruption that produces the slowly encroaching black background.

And I mean, think about it. Whatever happened to Katsuki happened as a consequence of his and TomurAFO’s clash. Izuku isn’t anywhere close to them yet. It makes far more sense for Katsuki to have entered Tomura’s vestige world rather than anyone else’s.

So how did Katsuki get in there? Well, this is where I think Horikoshi is gonna fill in the blanks for us. I don’t know which specific mechanics Katsuki employed in their clash to accomplish this feat. All I’ve got is: I think All Might’s vestige brought Katsuki there somehow. Perhaps it was done consciously, or perhaps Katsuki found a way to connect with the vestige to get to Tomura’s heart.

But then...what about All Might? Why is his vestige there? Inside Tomura’s vestige world? How?

One way might be how OFA and AFO connected at the end of the Paranormal Liberation War.

The other OFA vestiges appeared during this fight, which means for a brief time All Might’s vestige was connected with AFO. He could have left a piece of his vestige behind somehow.

Or it’s possibly thanks to Star.

Before we move on from this picture, let me point out that AFO’s corruption is highlighted by the black background that grows from his center. Additionally, this glimpse into Tomura’s vestige world shows us AFO and Tomura merged together--but are these merely quirk vestiges, or do they encompass something more? Remember, Izuku has a vestige in this world, and he has no quirk. What is the nature of this merged vestige? I’ll come back to this question soon.

For now, remember that All For One called Star’s vestige a “specter of All Might.”

Wouldn’t All Might’s vestige count as such a “specter?”

The characters in this final arc have hammered home the image of a chain connecting everyone, and Star’s actions preceding her death must be part of that chain. Her interference in AFO’s possession of Tomura may have left the All Might vestige behind inside Tomura’s body. It would work very well with the blatant imagery we see in chapter 364 of All Might reaching out to Star, who then reaches out...and on the next page we see Katsuki’s body and Edgeshot.

Perhaps this page is symbolizing the connection between Star and her vestige of All Might born from her admiration. Because Katsuki shares the same admiration (and parallels like hell with Star all over the place), he was able to connect to the All Might vestige inside of Tomura, and that’s how he gets to Tomura’s vestige world.

Or something something. Some anime bullshit, you know the drill.

But how did Katsuki know how to do all this? Man, idk. This is the part I’m expecting Horikoshi to fill in for me later. I just really think Katsuki did seek this outcome because of moments like these:

In what way was he chasing after Izuku here? Because we just saw his battle ability skyrocket only to end in his own apparent death. Well, the way Katsuki has been chasing after Izuku this entire manga, it’s pretty much gotta come down to Katsuki acknowledging Izuku’s strength in saving people. He’s been learning from Izuku’s example how to become a hero who saves. So it’s most likely that Katsuki’s final plan has something to do with rescuing Tomura, not merely fighting him.

But isn’t the vestige world merely comprised of quirks? How does this make any sense knowing that? Well now, let’s get back to that question of what is the AFO-Tomura vestige’s nature.

These vestiges in play cannot be merely quirks.

1. Izuku has a vestige when he is quirkless. 2. All Might’s vestige itself is a piece of his own consciousness. 3. The AFO-Tomura vestige has some weird, telling pieces to it.

When Star tears apart the AFO-Tomura vestige, the side that represents Tomura withers away, but we get a zoom in of the AFO vestige’s core where Tenko lies waiting.

And then when faced with the prospect of the heroes reviving Katsuki, Tenko panics and remembers his family.

...whom then spawn as figures on Tomura’s body.

We even saw Tomura’s family back when Tomura accepted AFO during the Paranormal Liberation War.

And finally, in chapter 379, Tomura explains the nature of the Tenko vestige we keep seeing.

In Japanese, Tomura calls this vestige his “origin” that he hid inside his heart.

These vestiges are more than just quirks. There is some woo-woo “the world within one’s heart” anime bullshit going on here.

And so, I shall leave you with my ultimate prediction.

Let’s use one part vestige rebellion against AFO:

One part One For All is resonating with All For One such that the vestiges can see each other:

And one part massive childhood hand-holding complex:

Katsuki becomes some sort of vestige inside Tomura so that at some point, when Izuku's and Tomura's vestige worlds once again merge (or just resonate hard enough), Izuku will reach out and Katsuki will grab his hand, thus creating a link for Izuku to pull something out, be it the AFO quirk and its stolen vestiges, or Tenko, and perhaps Katsuki himself.

Thus, ironically, Katsuki’s resurrection is literally tied to Tomura’s rescue, so he ain’t waking up before then.

(But this is just a theory. A game theory! Will it actually happen this way? Definitely. Maybe. Probably. I don’t know. But damn it sure seems like it could.)

Look, I love All Might to death and will rise up to defend him from unfair criticism, but Bakugou has not once offered ANY useful advice during those OFA meetings. All he has done is put Izuku down, put the other users of OFA down (including All Might's mother figure), get onto Izuku and All Might for wasting HIS time... in what way, shape, or form is this helping Izuku? In what way, shape, or form does this make Bakugou a "good friend" to Izuku.

100%. Katsuki was absolutely useless during those meetings. He just inserted himself into conversations, mocked the dead users of OFA, praised himself, and then put down both Izuku and All Might. He gave absolutely no good advice nor did he even try offering suggestions. Having Katsuki learn about OFA did absolutely nothing for the plot, and yet you’ll have Stans who claim that Katsuki’s essential to Izuku’s growth and that he needs him.

Kacchan: told Kiri about the evening with your quirk analysis books. Got some of him? And his quirk? Deku: I have the whole class. Kacchan: Course you do.. One book each? Deku: At the moment, yes. I reserved a book for each of our classmates, but not all of them are full.  So you wish for me to analyze Kirishima's quirk? Kacchan: Yes. He'll freak out when he finds out, trust me Deku: Okay. Shall I invite him to my place? Or do you want to get the book? Kacchan: Hm  The wish doesn't have a limit per se, right? Deku: ...I guess not, no. Why? Kacchan: And you have notes on the rest of the gang? Denks and Ashido? Even Hanta? Deku: I have the whole class. Kacchan: Ok listen I wish for you to grab your notebooks on my friends and come over at my place later. I still have the Gamecube since half of these guys are going home tomorrow night. We gonna play. Deku: Ok Kacchan: You cool with that? Deku: What time? Kacchan: 17:00? Deku: ok

He didn't know what it was, but it was probably approaching Christmas. Kacchan had made his wish. 

For his friends. 

Izuku wanted to cry.  

If only he wasn't bursting with anticipation at the thought that he would be an invited and accepted part of the Bakusquad tonight. He loved his friends to pieces. But something about the others was ... badass. Cool. He squeaked into his hands - then his phone rang. Really. A real call. 

"K-kacchan?"

"You okay?"

Irritated, he checked once more that he hadn't made a mistake and that it was really Katsuki, then he said, "Um, yeah? Yeah, why?"

"Cause you wrote as if you had... dunno. Like you weren't up for it?"

"I am up for it!"

"Even to bring your notes?"

"...Well. You know how embarrassed I am when people realize how carefully I pay attention," he thought aloud, and a low hum came from the other end of the line. "But if it makes them happy, then of course I'm happy to make them happy. And to help."

The line was quiet for a moment.

"100% sure?" Kacchan asked and Izuku sat down on his bed with a small smile as he continued to listen, "You've the absolute freedom to tell me if you don't wanna."

Wow. Who was this considerate gentleman on the phone? And what had he done to Kacchan?

"Wow. Kacchan sugoi," he cooed into the phone and started to grin, "it's okay, really. Sweet of you to ask, though."

"Shut up."

It sounded more offended than insulting. 

"I'll be at your place at 5:00, Kacchan. With the books. To kick your ass on the Gamecube while the others read."

The microphone buzzed, the only hint of Kacchan's snort, "Fuck you, Deku. I'm being considerate for once and -"

"Thanks for your consideration," he gushed, beaming at his shelf of notebooks, "see you later!"

After hanging up, he glanced at his cell phone. 

Wow. They had never talked on the phone before. His eyes scanned his apps, then were caught on the screen by his mother's wave. A picture of the two of them, splattered in dirt, digging up the garden. He could call her... distract himself, plan their Christmas Eve. 

Or... he could go through his entire closet, hoping to find something that would make him look more like a cool guy than a dorky nerd.

He opened the little app with the notes for the calendar.

Advice, Victory, A Hug, An Ear, JOKER, Hot Chocolate

Two of them were already gone, but still unused.

"The hot chocolate is still in there, guaranteed."

And the rest ... Izuku placed the cell phone on his chest and looked at the ceiling. Was it enough? Had they created a foundation on which they could build more than just friendship?

He had held Kacchan's hand. For those ten minutes, on the way back to the dorm. Their interaction had been different, no question. But was it enough for what he wanted to do? Now he knew what kind of chocolate Kacchan ate on Valentine's Day - and according to him, no one else beside him ever did. 

But couldn't all that …still count as friendship? Sure, not as a normal one .... but then he thought of Ochako and Shouto. He knew what kind of chocolate they liked best. And he had already held their hands, hugged them plenty and even dried their tears.

He and Kacchan still had a long way to go to be more than just friends. Did they have to be best friends to become more? Was it enough to be regular friends before they could become...more?

Today's “wish” was originally meant for both of them. The whole calendar was.

But they wouldn't meet like this today, not when the room was filled with Katsuki's friends. He liked them, all of them, but he noticed the small disappointment that Kacchan hadn't taken the chance to wish for something else. Another hand massage. Another fight. In short, time for two. 

Advice, victory and an ear, he thought.

Kacchan doesn't take advice. And even if he did, it wouldn't change their current relationship. The same applied to victory. And even more so for the moment when he lent him an ear. However and whenever that would ever be realized to open the 24. 

The hug. 

Everything would be built up to the day he gave the hug. That was the only and last day Izuku could show that the calendar had a purpose other than just being nice. 

But how? 

The hug would have to be longer, tighter, more intimate than any of his hugs before. He would have to do something he hadn't done with Shouto or Ochako. He could put his hands under Kacchan's sweater. 

"Nonsense."

He could let his hands sink lower. To his ... butt.

"Oh my God."

He could reach up and grab his face and pull it down and see what happened. Maybe ... they would ...?

"OH GOD." His face flushed at the image, he rolled over onto his side and screamed into his pillow. 

Now, with only 4 chances left, the pressure to get it right increased tenfold. 

Crap.

my friend convinced me to watch the ultimatum: queer love and now I can’t stop imagining a bkdk au. where izuku shows up with todoroki who gave an ultimatum because he proposed months ago and has patiently been waiting for izuku to decide so he can Cherish him. katsuki of course is there with kirishima who also thinks its time for them to get married, he like, wants kids and all that shit with his main man, which katsuki also technically wants but isn’t sure he deserves kirishima.

but now low and behold bkdk both show up to this weird ass reality thing and see each other after like ten years (which the producers totally knew and of course wanted to start drama).

and izuku’s just Shook(tm) and katsuki’s just high key stressed that fucking deku is here. kirishima was amused until he realizes this is the so-called nerd that was bakugo’s gay awakening tween childhood friend/victim and then he stays amused while also trying to be supportive like “maybe apologizing is what you need to make peace with yourself and feel ready for marriage”

and then after their ‘break-ups’ they end up on dates. obviously bakugo’s dates are with icy hot (who is perfectly pleasant but bakugo decides he hates him anyway) and deku. and with deku it starts off awkward and then turns into arguing w ust and then their last date together melts into a heavy apology where bakugo’s explaining “I realized I’d rather be reading all might comics with you than talking about girls or to girls and it was harder to accept than I realized” and “we knew each other for so long I figured you already knew and I was paranoid you were going to say something or do something and that you were looking down on me, pitying me because of it”

to which of course izuku’s like “no I was just kind of oblivious to my own feelings I’m sorry you felt that” and “I forgave you a long time ago but honestly not sure I ever felt there was something to forgive cause I could tell you were going through something”

and suddenly they both feels so much lighter but at the same time its HEAVY between them like What Could Have Been and there’s Something There

but the date wraps up and before ya know its its the time to choose who they are going to “marry” for a week.

Bakugo chooses Deku.

and he reasons fuck, no one knows him like this nerd even if it’s been a decade since they talked. if anyone is going to help him figure his shit out its going to be this man.

Izuku of course accepts. absolutely reverential about being chosen. after all he and todoroki talked it out and both agreed they were going to fully commit to this, so its totally okay he’s 100% invested in being kaachan’s husband for a week.

cut to bkdk having an absolutely xander/yoli of a lovefest week x1000. just meshing perfectly together, and after their first kiss all bets are off and they absolutely sleep together (bakugo definitely gets off on being better in bed than todoroki) (who is absolutely adequate izuku just has a higher libido and more kinks ok) (this definitely came up on their date together much to izuku’s mortification of saying so on camera and bakugo has been thinking about it since) and bakugo is like…all in. he loves kirishima but they’ve been growing apart and he’s all in with deku like fuck. meanwhile deka is also head over heels but having the occasional existential crisis about todoroki. who is perfect and deserves all the love.

and so bkdk end up married and grossly in love; todoroki decides nothing will piss off his dad more than getting engaged to a guy he hasn’t known for more than a week and ends up engaged inasa; kirishima either gets with kaminari or back with mina idk

thinking about the katsuki office kiss scene (feat izuku) and the potential unwritten freak it holds is absolutely driving me insane and i have to voice my thoughts before they brain rot me like termites eating the foundations of a house. (also quick disclaimer that I’m sosososos understanding of why this more horny aspect was not explored in fic [goes against like the whole message, and how the harem is handled in fic is one of my favourite aspects of the whole thing] i just thought itd would be fun to explore as it’s own seperate thing)

so. ofc we don't see izuku's reaction bc reader is panicking. but like??? he's right there??? on the other side of the desk?? and he could OFA zip over there and tear them apart, but since it's a choice reader's decided to make, he's going to let her, and izuku knows she's worried about all her potential soulmates, so he just can't bring himself to stop her. which must hurt him so badly.

so holy FUCK the idea of bakugou staring izuku down while he's kissing her. oh my god. that brings izuku into the potential romantic dynamic, so instead of bakugou/reader like reader thinks, it's a fucked-up bakugou/reader/izuku. oh fuck. and i mean this in a sexy, jarring way: what you said reminded me of these CGs in jumin han's route in mystic messenger:

The Critical Issue of People not Understanding Bakugou’s Sacrifice and why this Fandom is Doomed

The other day, I was reading an article all about “why Bakugou’s death [chp 362] adds no real point to the story” and was absolutely blown away by this take right here:

and although I am a certified BkDk shipper, I feel a strong need to defend and explain exactly why this Article and the majority of the fandom is dead wrong about Bakugou’s character and his place in the story. Take my words with a grain of salt, however, as of course my opinion isn’t gospel. This is just my analyzation of the story of MHA and my take on the character of Bakugou Katsuki.

Let’s start from the core of all this commotion— the hate around Bakugou’s character.

i. Bakugou Katsuki

We know him, we either love him or hate him, and we’re all aware of his importance to the story. Or…are we?

It’s been pretty obvious from the very first chapter that Bakugou was gonna be some sort of important figure in the overall story. From his introduction, to his body language, and even his speech— he was a shithead AND unavoidable.

His presence is obliviously the first obstacle to our protagonist, Izuku, as both a bully and a source of insecurity (both to Izuku and Himself)

Believe it or not, this immediately sets the bar for what we’re to expect from Bakugou throughout the entirety of the story. This is His character, and this is his story line.

Proving himself, and being a source of importance to Izuku. First as a bully, then a rival, and finally… 

“The most important figure to Midoriya Izuku”— someone who matters so much to Izuku, he has to die.

And guys, I REALLY need to stress how much his death matters. BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL BEEN BUILDING TOWARDS. From the very first moment he was introduced, to his supposedly final words. Bakugou has always been intertwined with Izuku.

And THAT is where all the animosity and confusion lies.

ii. The red string of fate

Now, this is somewhat the part I get a bit preachy. Only because I view these two as having a connection SO powerful, it’s beyond any sort of friendship imaginable. However, if you view their relationship as more platonic, you’re 100% justified in thinking as such.

Like I mentioned earlier, Bakugou’s death has been the main point all along, because he matters so much to Izuku.

I have a very strong theory as to why people refuse to see it as such.

You see, not everybody likes to dig below the surface. Sometimes, the average viewer just wants to enjoy some sappy romance, or quick punches thrown back and forth, or even some quick and painless jokes to make you chuckle softly. Basically, people don’t like having to think while enjoying visual entertainment. I know this because rarely I actually pay attention to media I’m watching, too busy working on something else to use it as anything more than white-noise.

Bakugou and Izuku have a relationship that requires deeper thinking. It’s not like any other relationship in MHA, where you see two cute characters and harmlessly ship them together. They have history, and a dark one at that. 

The average viewer ALSO rarely views the world as anything more than Black and White at first. Which is normal, we always assume a side before learning about all the nitty gritty details in a situation.

Bakugou has a character that isn’t Black or White. He’s the deuteragonist. Not quite the protagonist, and not quite the antagonist.

He’s a troubled kid, with a troubled past. And guess who has ALWAYS been with him through his darkest moments? Izuku.

People see this as something bad, when it’s the entire point of BOTH their character arks.

To Izuku, Bakugou is his symbol of Victory. To Bakugou, Izuku is a constant and possibly his symbol of hope. Their relationship is so complex, so deep, and filled with many, many layers. It’s vital to both of them, as we see most prominently through Izuku’s reaction to Bakugou’s death.

Their loses hurt. Because they’re so intertwined.

Like losing your other half, literally. Save to win, win to save.

Bakugou was more than just cannon fodder to get Izuku Angry. His death took a piece of Izuku away. His sense of self and his vision of Victory. There’s a reason we haven’t cut back to the Shigaraki vs Izuku battle. He’s not truly ready, not without his sense of victory with him.

But people can’t accept this. People instead take it an entirely different way.

iii. Once a bad guy, always a bad guy

This is my biggest problem with the MHA fandom. I don’t actually consider myself a part of it. I’m a little too embarrassed about my so called peers that believe they understand or appreciate the story. I mean, you’re allowed to dislike whoever you want or like whatever you want, but the hate around Bakugou makes no sense to me. 

You guys… realize people can change, right? There is no such thing as a purely good/ evil character or person. We can try and pretend there are, but there aren’t.

There’s something called character growth, too. Not sure if you’ve heard about it, but Bakugou has gone through it a lot. So has Izuku. Because THAT’S WHAT THEIR RELAITONSHIP ABOUT. FUCK IT, THAT’S WHAT THE DAMN STORY IS ABOUT.

Izuku’s a quirkless kid who wants to be a hero? Fuck it! He gets a super powerful power and is said to become “the greatest hero ever”. Good for him!

Villains want change to the hero system because it’s not fit for everyone? They’re right! Let’s allow them a revolution and give the story more perspective and depth as more than just a hero story. Good for them!

Bakugou, god forbid, wants to reimagine himself as someone more than their past mistakes and turn a new leaf alongside his childhood friend/ most important figure? …Let’s make fun of his death instead.

I GENUINELY DONT UNDERSTAND. YES, SOMETIMES HE SAYS MEAN WORDS. WHAT ELSE?

MHA is so much more that the silly shipping, memes, or backlash it gets. Is it perfect? Of course not! Is it detailed and complex? Absolutely!

Yes, people are allowed to not like a character. I’m not trying to force anyone to love Bakugou. He’s certainly not my favorite, but I at least understand his importance. Yes, not everybody has to grasp the deeper meaning behind a story and simply enjoy it for being a cool anime with memorable character. The problem arises when there is literally NO critical thinking and everyone just agrees with what is at the surface level.

(let it also be known that I feel most of the hate stems from people watching the DAMN ANIME. No offense if you like it, but I can’t stand to watch it. It’s lazy, frankly kind of ugly, and butchers almost every character SO BADLY (*cough, Bakugou, *cough) people are apparently pretty adamant to be anime watchers only, so this could be another reason they dislike Bakugou, because the anime is GOD AWFUL. Again, no offense :))
