I'm just about finished rereading Hotline, my multi-chapter Stanman fic, so it's about time to recommend it again. I can't believe it's been almost a year since I updated this (🫣), but I plan to start a new chapter as soon as I finish rereading because I've always wanted this fic to have the ending it deserves. The new season has revitalized my love for South Park, and there is still a bit more to go in this fic!

Summary:

After Kyle rejects him, Eric believes his life is no longer worth living. He turns to a suicide hotline, and his connection to the crisis worker he's paired with becomes more powerful than he could have imagined.

(This is an AU in which Eric, Kyle, and Kenny grew up as friends, but they did not know Stan. All the characters are in their twenties. This fic contains explicit themes, so it is for 18+ audience ONLY).

South Park belongs to Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Aw, at some point I convinced myself Hotline wasn’t all that special and became so discouraged from finishing it even though it always bothered me it was unfinished. I don’t get writer envy for other fics or anything like that. I genuinely love to support other writers. I just lose faith in myself. Rereading it now . . . as much as I dislike and avoid rereading my own stuff, this fic was and is special for a lot of people, including me ❤️ revisiting chapters I haven’t read since I wrote them is oddly sweet.

I was a better writer before I destroyed my brain 😫 It’s legitimately so hard to focus on anything sometimes now, or to construct the sentences. I have ideas, but my brain just goes 😵‍💫 but I have to keep trying!! I have new ideas!!
