Cam and Piper come back to their rental lot and are met by Piper’s auntie Juliet. She’s married to Piper’s auntie Rowan and is best friends with Piper’s mom Luna and Piper isn’t as close with her as she is with her other aunties Tess and Megan but still likes auntie Julie. Piper hugs her auntie and ushers her inside. “Did my mom send you to check up on me?” She asks as the group sits down on the kotatsu and Juliet nods, smiling. “Yup, plus I wanted to check in on you too.” She adds, before greeting Cam, Amir, and Lily. The five of them have a hotpot meal before Juliet leaves and Lily and Amir head to their respective rooms while Cam and Piper head into theirs.

Cam smiles at Piper as she slides in next to her in bed. They flirt a bit, and Cam asks if Piper isn’t too tired to woohoo. “I’m down for it.” Piper says, smiling at Cam. “It’s just that you looked so sexy in that jacket you were wearing earlier that it put me in a woohoo mood.” Cam says, grinning, and Piper swats her arm lightly but smiles too. Piper smiles as Cam pulls her close and kisses her neck, and she thinks back on the first time she met Cam, four years ago when they were 16. She’d definitely been physically attracted to Cam, but it had grown from just lust and crushes into love. Now, they’re going into their second to last year of college together, and are making plans for their future such as marriage, kids, where to live and work and so on. Their relationship hasn’t been perfect and romantic 24/7 but they try to make time for each other and Piper considers Cam as a friend a romantic partner.

God I love this scene. The way Sidney gently challenges Juliet and supports her. What a beautiful friendship. And Matthew lends Sidney so much humanity. What a lovely, special portrayal he gives us 💝
