In 2010 there was a pokewalker in the game packets of HeartGold and SoulSilver.
You could transfer your pokemon from HG/SS to the pokewalker, and then interact with it. When you walked around with it, the pokemon inside also gained EXP.
There might also have been a street pass feature or something.
It was really weird how they completely abandoned the concept.
What if there were more Pokémon in the form of virtual pets like Tamagotchi or Digimon?

Yall really be fighting AI art, when what you need to do is use it as much as possible. To show big companies how much it infringes on THEIR copyright!
How do you think Nintendo’s legal department is going to react once they become aware that the prompt “video game plumper” is creating exclusively Mario content?
Do you really think that they will allow that? Nintendo?!!
The company which through lawsuits and DMCAs:
- Tried to eliminate physical game rentals
- Takes down all fan-games
- Takes down Streamers’ and YouTubers’ content for seconds of gameplay
Do you really think a company like Nintendo want to allow a single AI game with Mario in it? Have their IP conflated with scams and awful quality?
Here’s the game-plan
Step 1 ) make AI art with generic prompts, the less detail the better
Step 2) AI can only replicate, so it will replicate someone’s intellectual property
Step 3) if the IP owner is a big company, contact them
Step 4) wait for big companies to send AI bros to the litigation castratration chamber

Even if that was true, why would it matter?
“Cause I’m the land of Israel,
The least evil country in history,
And if you you do not believe me
I totally won’t settle in your territory ;)
Because that’d be evil
And that’s so not me!
Not evil, not evil. No!
I’m the least evil person, I know”

An important note to this is that Biden was about 45 in 1987, when Hamas was founded.
To refer to something in your mid-40s as ‘ancient’ makes no sense.
Gosh, even his attempts at dog whistling are awful.
At this point, the only difference between Biden and Trump is that Trump stopped giving a shit about not saying the quiet racist part out loud.

the playbook for Israel have always been to keep the conflict going. Because each time there is a flare up, they will make an excuse to kill natives and steal more of their land. If the conflict had ended 50 years ago, Israel's borders would not be as wide as they are today.

A big problem with movies today is that they force themselves is that they force a 90 minute story to be 150 minutes long.
Suits demand content based on minutes because they are too soulless to comprehend quality.
Just look at the movie Frozen. The rock gnomes could be completely written out of the story and nothing would be lost. Replace them with a rhyme or legend of a child born with power that was written in a fairytale book. Not only would the movie save time a bunch of time and it would also become better.
Kristoff would not be special because of his upbringing anymore, which emphasizes his role as a commoner and his role as Hans’s opposite.
Elsa’s parents would actually have a reason to hide her powers. They would have no one to ask for help, and they could fear the people interpreting the legend of ice powers wrong. Or make the original ice witch story a myth in their world. The gnomes involvement only made this part of the story worse.
Having Hans be evil wasted time too. Simply making him want to kill Elsa to cure Anna would be better. He should kissed Anna and she should have remained cursed, because he doesn’t love her, he barely knows her. So he would say he had to slay Elsa, and then Anna would protest. That would have shown that he doesn’t care about her, he is just infatuated by her and the idea of true love. This would also make Anna an actual actor in her own life, since she would decide to not just “follow the script” of a normal princess story. Instead of the story just forcing her not to.

Something native English/Spanish/German/French speakers don’t understand is that not every country have their media localized. There is a huge barrier to international entertainment, but if you are a kid, you just power through anyway.
You think playing pokemon as a 10 year old is hard, try not knowing the language.
Me and my brothers went around and talked to every single NPC to proceed in the game, there was no other way to play.
We had to memorize every single attacks effect.
Imagine sitting through an entire pokemon text cutscene written in a made up language.
And no we couldn’t ask our parents, since mine are working class and too old to have gotten secondary language education.
We didn’t have a mew behind the truck rumor because we were too busy deciphering what [go back to town] means.

I stil remember going into a shop in Paris as a teenager. I don’t remember what kind of shop because it was like a decade ago.
I look around and before I get to take a second step, an employee behind the counter rushes towards me from the furthest end.
I ask “Do you- -“
She interrupts me “English?”
“Yeah, do- -“
“NO!”
So I left the store. I learned English to communicate internationally, why must the French be difficult :(
#french#I spent years learning another language why don’t everyone#ok maybe a prime motivator was to learn what was happening in video games

The reason why this is mainly happening at US universities is also important. The US is the one country that has shielded Israel’s war crimes.
The saddest truth is that US students aren’t protesting to end the genocide, they are protesting because they want to end the contribution and financial/political support of the genocide. The students’ goal is that their tuition dollars isn’t used to exterminate native populations. The reason why this is a sad truth, is that the bar is as low as it can be. Massive media coverage is determined to call them terrorist sympathizers and antisemitic, for the sole reason that they don’t want, the money earned from taking advantage of them financially to be used for genocide.

He wants to lose so bad dude. Just an unhinged cynical denial and deflection of what the protest is about and portraying peaceful protestors as terrorists and also a casual denial of the literal tens of thousands of people dead after october 7th? Joe Biden values zionism more than his election chances.

The weirdest thing about Harry Potter is how it can be used as a case study of how awful the world building of a show can be, but it’s never talked about because the story focuses on the characters instead.
Some examples:
- wizards can instantly teleport items and people, even automate the process through port keys. Yet still use owls and trains?
- the stairs randomly would never be useful, especially since new students come every year, who would likely have at least one classmate fall to their death.
- Hogwarts just straight up tries to kill its students. Sending them out into a forest full of student eating monsters like werewolves. Why isn’t there at least a fence between the forest and the school?!
- not one muggleborn wizard has introduced the concept of a Word document. “But writing with ink and quill is fun!” NO! It’s awful! You make a mistake? Well now you gotta restart that 1000 word essay!
- not a single class at hogwarts focuses on math or literature.
- some muggle things are better than magic, and the fact that no wizards have adopted those tools is stupid. Cast a silence spell on a gun! Now you can anything without sound or a giant glowing blast!
- wizards can do complicated spells innately as children; teleport, inflation and straight up erasing stuff like glass from existence. But the moment you put a wand in a hand, now they have to say specific words and movements?
- spells make no sense! Why would chanting Latin cause magic to happen? Words having meaning implies that someone is hearing them! Are all wizards envoking the power of some powerful entity every time they cast a spell? Is it demons, elder gods? What is it? Latin certainly implies a connection to the Catholic Church!
- the ministry of magic creates a worldwide ban on the word Voldemort, and get instantly location and identity info on people saying it… if that’s possible, then how the fuck isn’t this method used in other circumstances?
- the killing curse is unnecessary and stupid. If there is a spell to blow up a wall, a spell to turn someone into an animal and a spell to create fire. Then why develop a killing spell at all? Just blow them up! Turn them into a mayfly or a fish (on land)! Create fire in their lungs! A simple blender spell used for food preparation could be a murder curse, so why even have a spell that can only kill? From a story telling perspective, it’s also stupid. If wizards used signature spells to kill people, they would be much more iconic. But no! Every evil wizard just use Evil-Spell-That-Have-No-Personality-or-other-purpose.
- muggleborn wizards read and write at a 4th grade level, and since there’s no other education system in wizard society than hogwarts, that means that most pure blood wizard students can barely read or write. This also implies that Hermione was a know-it-all or smart, she was just one of the only 2 kids in her class that could actually read the book assignments. The only reason why Voldemort was a threat was probably because he grew up in muggle society and learned to read and do basic math.
- there’s constant mentions of things that fundamentally change the entire world, but that just never happens. There’s monsters like werewolves, vampires, centaurs, dragons and mermaids. Sure you can hide the existence of wizards, but why would any of the monsters, especially the feral, evil or non-thinking ones never reveal magic to be real?!
- there’s no good distinction why some creatures are kept secret/are magical and others aren’t. If dragons were real, what exactly prevent muggles from just classifying it as a highly dangerous animal like the real-life Komodo dragon? Why wouldn’t Rhinoceros, Red-pandas and Swans be considered magical? Gorillas used to be myths, are we to believe wizards used to house all gorillas in the world, in their basement?
There’s so much more, like how the existence of house-elves implies the existence of other elves. Harry Potter just uses every trope and myth, almost as if to copyright and trademark our cultural heritages.

Chemistry facts:
For something to burn it must be in the gass state.
Since Charmander’s body isn’t breaking down, it must mean that that it channels some gass out its tail.
An obvious way to produce gass is through fermentation, meaning Charmander’s flame is likely a biogas resulting from its digestion. AKA farts.
So if a Charmander starved to death the fermentation and thereby the flame would end.
This corresponds to the Pokédex saying that its flame is a sign of its life force.
This would also explain why Charizard has a big round belly.
