hi! is it ok to req a lyney, gaming, and/or bennett scenario where reader likes to kiss key areas on their body? e.i. lyney's teardrop makeup, the x scar on bennett's shoulder, gaming's little neck mole, etc.
it doesn't have to be all of them btw! just ideas stemmed from my brainrot
— 🧷anon
multiple characters headcannons!
kissing key areas on their bodies... how do they react?
characters: bennett, gaming, lyney x gn!reader
author's note: HELP I LOVE THIS REQUEST TOO MUCH I SHOULD BE CONCERNED IT'S SUCH A CUTE IDEAAA i tried my best please i'll be obsessed with this one i just know it
Tumblr media
๑ Bennett
-he would be a bit surprised bffr
-you would kiss his scar while telling him that it's okay to be clumsy that it's no big deal etc that you'll love him nonetheless
-he would be blushing and just thanking you a billion times(he still hasn't said it enough)
-and you'd just kiss him which would only make him blush more
-he's a blushing mess
-he doesn't know how to return the favor
-so yk
-he returns the favor by giving you a little kiss on your lips
-hoping that it was enough(for him it wasn't)
-but if he didn't accept it, you would continue kissing the scar and even tickling him until he accepted it and thought he had thanked you enough.
-in reality, he just doesn't want you to leave him because of his unluckiness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
✷ Gaming
-he's a total sweetheart help
-you'd kiss that mole on his neck and he would be a tomato already there
-off topic for a second but i love that he has a mole because i have moles all over my body and just one on him means sm to me for some reason(i'm not okay) so idk wether to feel proud or not about them
-anyways back to gaming
-he would blush and after you looked back up at him he would hide his face in your neck
-hiding that adorable blushing face of his
-you just tell him that it's cute and continue doing it until he's more than just a blushing mess.
-he wants to return the favor so he showers you with kisses.
-be ready for him being extra cure for the nextt few days.
-and if course, clingy as fuck.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
✯ Lyney
-bro will be flabbergasted.
-he's the flitry one, he's the rizzler, he's the more dominant one!
-so when you catch him off guard like that after a show as a sign of praise...
-he is as red as his pyro vision.
-he's so embarrassed that he doesn't even hide his face, just stand there frozen(even tho he's tehnically burning on the unside)
-he doesn't understand how you make him feel so hot, but loves it so much despite not telling you so
-and when you'd pull back from his cheek, where his signature teardrop makeup mark is...
-he's looking at you. just looking.
-red as fuck.
-he's adorable.
-so in order to get at least a bit of lyney back, you'll have to drag him with you.
-for the rest of the day, he'll be completely flabbergasted. and tonight, he'll keep his hand on where the mark is, not daring to wipe it off.
-(he was looking at himself in the mirror and just graced his fingers over the mark gently, admiring it.)
-for the next few days, he's more than clingy.
-and for the rest of your guys' lives, he'll never miss a day when he doesn't draw that mark on his cheek.
-and if you kiss it ever again, the cycle restarts itself...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i have an obsession okay
LYNEY'S PART IS LONGER I'M SORRY BUT I'M LITERALLY OMW TO WRITE THAT BRAINROT OR WHATEVER
but the others were precious i swear i love them all(favorite vision is anemo why tf do i like short pyro men)
'Samu thoughts you say? (๑˘︶˘๑)
Bf! Osamu is the type of man that arrives home and searches for you just to kiss your forehead and ask about your day
The type to ask everytime you come back home from anywhere if you're hungry so you both can buy or make something
Bf! Osamu who has a stubble after a rough week in the restaurant and asks you to help him shave it since you didn't have time to share at all
Osamu who has a picture of you in his wallet AND his office at Onigiri Miya, maybe even one in the kitchen
The type to be subtle with the PDA but when you're both alone he's the biggest cat you've ever seen, noms on your cheeks or shoulders for no reason
Finally the type that knows you're the one when you spend the whole night with him with preparations for a big event on the restaurant
(I'm an avid Tsumu lover, but Osamu is just so boyfriend and husband material I can't ignore it)
OSAMU GOING OUT OF HIS WAY TO FIND YOU AND KISS YOU IS SO GOOD IM GONNA DIE
Bc he’s been so excited to kiss you all day, since this morning when he kissed you last, he just wants to run and pick you up and spin you around and pull you into this insane kiss because you make him feel on top of the world. He settles for an excited flurry of kisses from both of you, giggles and smiles and happy, easy breaths.
OSAMU WHO ASKS IF YOURE HUNGRY BECAUSE HE GETS TO DO HIS FAVORITE ACTIVITY FOR HIS FAVORITE PERSON AND WHO WOULDN'T LOVE DOING THAT???
who jumps up onto his feet and takes your jacket and kisses you with a quick flurry of "you hungry?" "did you eat?" "want to have a snack with me?"
OSAMU!!!!! WITH STUBBLE!!!! IM GONNA CHOKE-
who loves the way you shrink up your shoulders from the tickly feeling of him kissing your cheeks and neck, but loves the way you focus on shaving him even more, the tip of your tongue poking out as you draw the razor over his cheeks and jawline- you nicked him once on the neck, so now you force him to do it himself; but he still trusts you implicitly.
OSAMU WHO KEEPS PICTURES OF YOU EVERYWHERE IM-
he's got you in his wallet, his phone screen, there's one of you in his office and one of you in the inside of his onigiri miya cap. there's one of you in the restaurant, one facing out to the people, and one resting on the register. when someone asks who you are, he gets this wide, proud smile and confidently gives them an excited "my fiancé!"
OSAMU MIYA IS A BITER AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL
hes the clingy one, the one who dangles off of you, the one who leaves playful bites and curls on your lap and falls asleep with your hand in his fluffy hair.
AND HIM SETTING UP THE RESTURANT FOR A JACKALS AFTER PARTY OR SOMETHING, KNOWING YOURE RIGHT THERE WITH HIM TO SUPPORT HIS DREAMS AND GIVE HIM A PROUD LOOK AT THE BEGINNING AND END OF EVERY DAY 🥺❤️❤️
I guess I can call myself a returner of interest in Fyuuture kid au to the masses, and I'm proud of it🏅 the part with other four dorms was absolutely amazing! Thank you! And your reply to my previous message was so heartwarming. My baby boy🥹 Yuu really should beat the magical marshall with a slipper when they meet again, no one touches THE bestest boy😤
It seems like I'll have to write down my questions, cause I tend to forget them in two minutes 😔 but there's the one I remember:
It was discussed in one of the posts (Riddle!Yutu), how does Yutu look like?🤔 I thought he would bear more resemblance with Yuu, so everyone wouldn't quickly (or immediately with some fathers) make conclusions. Does he have beastmen characteristics if his dad's from Savannaclaw? Does he inherit Idia's hair? Can he transform into octopus/eel/dragon form? (In twisted wonderland, I mean, not in Yuu's homeworld. I've read that post💅🏻) Is he as tall as the twins? 🤔 imagine 190 sm or 6ft 3, duckling following you
Have a nice day/evening, take care of yourself!
You should be very proud of yourself annon I am having a lot of fun with this! The Magical Marshall's are a government organization so the image of Yuu charging a fed with a slipper gave me a laugh, but yes they should. How dare they hurt Yutu ୧(๑•̀ᗝ•́)૭
imagine 190 sm or 6ft 3, duckling following you
Tumblr media
Hand slipped. Anyway Yutu wears a pretty big sweatshirt sweater dress type thing that obscures a lot of his facial features though I did briefly play with the idea of him wearing a sort of mask similar to an FFXIV ash mask:
Tumblr media
The justification was that the air in the future timeline! Twisted Wonderland was so polluted by blot and Yutu was so used to breathing it he needed some magical assistance... I think I also wrote some bullshit about the mask applying a glamour to Yutu so he didn't need to wear the big sweatshirt, but I feel like the mask would be more suspicious than just some guy who wants to keep his hood up.
As for those unique features, yes. With the exception of Malleus! Yutu, all of the non human Yutus found themselves transforming into an entirely different species when they came through the mirror into Twisted Wonderland. It was an extremely painful experience, imagine having your parent basically die in your arms and the next thing you know you are turning into a giant pacific octopus on the floor of a castle in front of a bunch of people. Yutu should be rewarded for not losing his shit then and there. The beastmen Yutus needed some time to adjust to having stronger hearing and senses of smell, the merfolk Yutus basically missed the first few months of magic education getting used to their merfolk forms, and Yutu Shroud had his hair instantly set itself on fire and had a massive panic attack. The beastmen Yutus have to keep their extra features tucked underneath their hoodie, which is very frustrating for Jack! Yutu who has a lot of floof that suddenly has nowhere to go. Lilia! and Sebek! Yutu don't have any noticeable appearance differences (unless you like the thought of him having Sebek's hair color), but I do like the idea of their teeth getting sharper. I prefer to leave a lot of Yutu's appearance up to the reader, but I had a super clear picture of Riddle! and Epel! Yutu as being short, and the more I think about the merfolk... I see Floyd! Yutu as being a sort of middle ground between his parents's height and Jade! Yutu as being about as tall as his dad. Oh and Azul! Yutu is taller than his dad, he is a bulky boy.
Now. Malleus! Yutu. So dragon fae hatch from eggs that can only be created out of love and constantly need to receive magic from their loving parent. That clearly didn't happen with Yutu, so I don't think he can transform into a dragon. He is still clearly inhuman, he has Malleus's eyes and ages much more slowly than other humans, even in your world he looked really young for his age. Think of Malleus! Yutu as sort of playing by half-elf rules, he's going to be living for hundreds of years and as he gets older he will grow tiny horns and some scales around them. He is also the strongest of the Yutus magically speaking, he did get some love from his father after all.
I did have a thought of sorts about the whole egg thing... I mentioned before that I had played with the idea of giving certain Yutu's siblings, and while I am still uncertain of the others I can see Malleus! Yutu having a twin of sorts who did hatch out of an egg, who can transform into a dragon, and who would have been left behind in Twisted Wonderland. I have so many ideas I wrote a lot of them down but this au is already so complicated I don't know if I want to add her. I do really like it though...
Summary: The band Tokio Hotel is hosting a meet and greet , but Gustav was just in the corner with no one to take pictures with ,but then he met his super fan.
Gustav shäfer x reader imagines
(This was in my draft for a long time and i love Gustav so much he's so adorable so i decided to publish it because i can't seem to find Gustav fanfics sadly)
"Are you ready Gustav?"  The manager asked , his voice sounds like he's in a hurry.
The short haired boy could only nod his head softly , before he grabbed a hat on the table infront of him , putting it on his head as he looked in the mirror , checking if he looked good before he greets some fans.
The manager asked the rest of the boys if they were also ready to go , all of them agreed , and then the manager told them too follow him into the room where the fans are.
The four boys followed obediently , Tom shoving Georg playfully as Bill laughed at Georg almost falling onto the ground , Bill's laughter filled the  silent room.
After a few minutes of walking , the manager turned at the four boys , and pointed at the door infront of him , signalling them to head out .
The four boys understood the managers signal as they opened the doors , Fan girls screamed and yelled once they got out of the door.
Gustav smiled to himself , after seeing such supporting fans , Bill then waved  at the crowd , Georg also waved a smile on his face , Tom smiled at the sight of a group of girls screaming his name loudly.
The meet and greet started , girls and boys formed a line ,  excitedly waiting to get a picture from the four boys .
A girl stepped forward , her face plastered on a smile , her hands shook in excitement , Gustav couldn't help but feel his lips curl upward at the sight of the girl so excited to just take a picture with them.
But once the girl stepped forward , she immediately went and ran towards the arms of the dreadlocked boy , hugging him tightly her smile widened once she hugged him.
After the picture with the girl was taken another girl stepped forward her skirt flowed as she walked but just like the other girls she went towards the twins arms holding their waist tightly with a smile on her face , once the picture was taken he saw the girl give Tom and Bill a gift which looked like fresh roses.
Once the girl gave them the roses , The twins thanked the girls kindness and gave her one last hug before she left .
Another pretty woman stepped out of the line , Just by looking at her you could tell the girl was excited and happy to be here , but once she stepped out the line she immediately leaped herself onto Bill's arms and hugged him tightly , Bill smiled uncomfortably at the girls touchy behavior but kept his thought to himself and hugged the woman back.
Once the picture was taken the girl stepped out and gave Bill once last smile before she got pulled out of the boys way .
Such a thing kept on going till the line was shortened , The twins only got the attention , he wasn't angry or jealous or anything he just wanted to experience it too , he was also part of the band but why is it he doesn't get the same special treatment as the others? He couldn't help but wonder to himself .
Gustav was lost in his thought before he suddenly felt a warm embrace hold him , He felt surprise at the sudden hug but accepted anyways , .
Gustav scanned the girl fully , She was pretty , cute even , the girl looked at him with admiration , with one look he felt weak at his knees , and the pretty woman whispered "I'm your biggest fan" excitedly in his ears while still holding him in her arms .
Gustav face flushed at the girls compliment towards him , he felt his lips curl into a proud smile until the photographer slightly yelled "One Two Three" as the camera flickered with a bright light , and the photo came out of the camera , the photographer held the photo in his hands while shaking it lightly for the photo to appear .
Once the photo fully appeared , the phtographer handed the photo to the girl , the girl took her arms off the blushing boys figure , and reached her hands at the photo being handed towards her.
The girl took the photo off of the photographers hands and scanned it , she looked at it intently , a present smile never left her face .
Gustav looked at the girls smiling figure again , he couldn't help but smile again , at seeing the girls happy look .
The girl turned to the drummer again and hugged him once more before she was escorted out of the line by the bodyguards .
Gustav's stare never once left the girls leaving figure , the boy felt happy that he met his super fan.
Goon Central: College Basketball AU
Warnings: goon central alternate universe, fighting, RAHHHHHHH
Word Count: 10k
A/n: I was forced to do this by the GC they volunteered me as tribute 😞✊
✦•┈๑⋅⋯ ⋯⋅๑┈•✦
Hearts were pounding in everyone’s ears. This practice session was more brutal than ever. The cheerleaders were pushing themselves to the limit, striving to perfect every jump and stunt. They knew there was no room for error. Across the gym, the basketball players were practicing with a fierce intensity, each movement sharper and more precise than before. The final game was just around the corner, and it meant everything to them.
For the cheerleaders, every flip, twist, and cheer was a testament to months of dedication. Mimi, the team captain, felt the pressure more than anyone. She knew that their routine needed to be flawless to inspire the crowd and boost the team’s morale. "Okay! Let's try that again! Remember, girls, we are trying to get scouted," she called out, her voice steady despite the nerves. Her heart raced as she executed a perfect back handspring, landing with a solid thud that resonated through the gym. The team mirrored her determination, their synchronized movements a blend of grace and power.
On the basketball court, the players were relentless. Sweat dripped from their brows as they ran drill after drill. Coach’s voice boomed through the gym, urging them to dig deeper, push harder. Every pass, every shot, every defensive stance was a step toward victory. "If you guys want to make it into the WNBA, you need to work harder!" Coach shouted.
Sienna, the star player, wiped her forehead with the back of her hand, her eyes never leaving the hoop. She knew the weight of her team’s expectations rested on her shoulders. Her jump shot was a thing of beauty, arching perfectly before swishing through the net.
The stakes were high. The final game was more than just a match; it was the culmination of their efforts, a chance to prove themselves. The cheerleaders and basketball players alike knew that this was their moment. The energy in the gym was electric, a mix of anxiety and excitement.
"Okay, girls, let's take a break!" Mimi called out, noticing that the players were getting ready to take a break too.
The gym fell into a quiet lull as both the cheerleaders and basketball players took a break. Mimi handed out water bottles to her team, her mind still running through their routine. She glanced over at the basketball court where the players were sprawled on the benches, catching their breath.
Sienna, the star player, leaned back and took a long drink from her water bottle. She noticed Mimi gazing over and gave her a tired smile. She walked over, wiping the sweat from her forehead with a towel.
“Hey, how’s practice going?” she asked, her voice hoarse from shouting plays.
Mimi returned her smile. “Brutal, but we’re getting there. You guys look like you’re working hard too.”
Sienna nodded. “Coach is really pushing us. This game is everything. We’ve got scouts coming, and the whole school is counting on us.”
Mimi nodded, understanding the weight of her words. “Same here. We’re aiming to get scouted too. It’s like everything we’ve worked for comes down to this one moment.”
They stood in companionable silence for a moment, the sounds of their teammates’ chatter filling the gym. The shared pressure and determination seemed to bridge the gap between them.
“You know,” Sienna said, breaking the silence, “no matter what happens, we’ve already made it this far. That’s something to be proud of, and just so you know, I'm proud of you.”
Mimi smiled and blushed, feeling a surge of confidence. “I'm proud of you too, Sienna. And you're right. We’ve got this.”
“Mimi, look!” Sol shouted, gaining her attention. She stood in the middle of the court, holding a basketball in her hand, preparing to throw it backwards. “This one’s for you!” Sol called out, pointing toward Mimi before tossing the ball over her shoulder. The ball soared through the air, bouncing off the rim of the hoop.
The gym erupted in laughter and cheers as the ball spun around the rim before finally falling to the floor. Mimi laughed and clapped her hands. “Nice try, Sol!”
Sol grinned, jogging over to retrieve the ball. “I’ll get it next time, I swear!”
“Wait! I wanna try!” Jade said, rushing over and getting into the same position Sol was in before.
Sol tossed the ball to Jade with a playful smile. “Alright, show us what you’ve got!”
Jade, despite being shorter than most of her teammates on the basketball court, stood in the middle, holding the basketball with determination. She took a deep breath, glancing at Mimi, who stood among the cheerleaders, cheering them on. “This one’s for you, Mimi!” she declared, mimicking Sol’s earlier gesture.
With a determined flick of her wrist, Jade threw the ball backwards over her shoulder. Everyone watched in anticipation as the ball flew through the air, heading straight for the hoop. It hit the backboard, spun around the rim, and, to everyone’s surprise, dropped through the net.
The gym exploded with cheers and laughter, everyone clapping and shouting in excitement. Mimi's face lit up with surprise and joy as she realized the shot was dedicated to her.
Mimi laughed and clapped her hands. “That was amazing, Jade!” She ran over and gave Jade a hug, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "That was for me, guys!" Mimi exclaimed, her laughter echoing through the gym.
Jade returned the hug, grinning from ear to ear. “Of course, Mimi! Anything for you!”
"You should dedicate one to Kaye, once they come to one of your practices," Mimi said, wiggling her eyebrows mischievously, causing Jade to blush.
"You're so right. Do you think they'd be impressed?" Jade questioned, feeling a hint of nervousness creeping in.
"Jade," Mimi said, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder, "You're amazing just the way you are. I'm sure Kaye would be thrilled to see you in action."
Jade smiled gratefully at Mimi's words, feeling a surge of confidence. "Thanks, Mimi. I'll definitely give it a shot."
"Waitttt, I want to dedicate a shot for you too, Mimi," Sienna whined playfully as she got into the same position as Jade. "I'm a star player and captain for a reason. Just watch me. This one's for you, Mimi," Sienna declared with a wink, tossing the ball behind her.
The gym fell into a momentary silence as everyone watched with bated breath. The ball sailed through the air, but instead of hitting the rim or the hoop, it missed entirely, airballing.
Sienna's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she turned to face Mimi, who was trying to suppress a giggle. "Well, I guess that one didn't quite go as planned," Sienna admitted sheepishly.
Mimi stepped forward, wrapping Sienna in a supportive hug. "It's okay, Sienna. The sentiment was there, and that's what counts."
Sienna smiled gratefully, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. "Thanks, Mimi. I'll stick to making shots during the game."
Mimi returned Sienna's smile before her eyes drifted to the side, catching sight of Keer downing a Monster Energy drink. "Sorry Sienna be right back…KEER!" Mimi shouted, rushing over to her.
Keer jumped at the sound of her name but continued to chug the drink faster, knowing there was no turning back once it was already in her system. Keer was notorious for drinking Monster Energy all the time, despite Mimi's and Lila’s frequent scoldings and threats.
Mimi reached Keer just as she finished the last drop of the energy drink. "Keer, how many times have Lila I told you to stop drinking those? They're not good for you!" Mimi scolded, her tone firm.
Keer shrugged nonchalantly, unfazed by Mimi's reprimand. "Relax, Mimi. It's just one drink. It gives me the energy boost I need."
Mimi sighed, her frustration evident. "One drink too many, Keer. You need to start taking better care of yourself. Your health is important, you know."
Keer rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of guilt in her expression. "Fine, fine. I'll try to cut back (Lies)," she relented, knowing that Mimi wouldn't let up until she promised.
Mimi gave her a stern look. "Good. I mean it, Keer. No more energy drinks, or else there will be consequences."
Keer nodded, knowing better than to argue further with Mimi. Despite their occasional clashes over Keer's unhealthy habits, it was clear that Mimi cared deeply about her well-being.
"She's right, Keer. You've been downing Monster Energy drinks a lot," Sugar said, joining the conversation as she overheard Mimi's scolding.
Keer sighed, "I know, Sugar. I just can't seem to kick the habit. It's just so yummy," she admitted reluctantly, her voice tinged with regret.
Sugar placed a comforting hand on Keer's shoulder. "I understand, but your health is more important than a temporary burst of energy. Maybe we can find healthier alternatives together?"
Keer nodded, grateful for Sugar's support. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Thanks, Sugar. And thanks for looking out for me, Mimi," she added, directing a grateful smile towards Mimi, who was watching them.
Mimi smiled back, relieved to see Keer taking her concerns seriously. "Anytime, Keer. We're all here to support each other, no matter what," she said, her voice filled with sincerity.
“But seriously though, stop it, or else I'm gonna smack you and get Lila to read you all the ingredients and cons of energy drinks,” Mimi warned, her tone firm but laced with a hint of playful threat.
Keer chuckled nervously, knowing that Mimi was serious about that. "Alright, alright, I promise I'll cut back," she replied, raising her hands in surrender.
Mimi narrowed her eyes playfully. "Good. And if you don't, you'll have to deal with all of us," she added, nodding towards Sugar, who grinned mischievously in agreement.
Keer rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile at her friends' antics. "Got it, no more energy drinks," she promised, grateful for their concern and support.
"Speaking of Lila, where is she?" Sugar questioned. "Wasn't she supposed to watch us practice today?"
Mimi glanced around the gym, furrowing her brow in confusion. "You're right, I haven't seen her. She said she was going to be here to support us."
Just then, the gym doors swung open, and Lila burst through, looking slightly flustered. "Sorry I'm late, guys!" she exclaimed, hurrying over to join them and pulling the three of you into a tight hug.
Returning her hug, Mimi raised an eyebrow, teasingly. "Fashionably late, as always, Lila, but still gorgeous as ever," she remarked with a playful wink, her eyes lingering on Lila's face a moment longer than necessary.
Lila grinned sheepishly, feeling a rush of warmth at Mimi's compliment. "Says you! But you know me. I wouldn't miss practice for anything!" she replied, with a tinge of flirtation in her voice.
As they broke apart, Lila couldn't help but notice the way Mimi's gaze lingered on her, the air between them charged with a subtle tension. It was a feeling she was all too familiar with, the unspoken attraction that simmered beneath the surface of their friendship.
With a playful twinkle in her eye, Lila flashed Mimi a teasing grin, a silent invitation for whatever might come next.
Keer noticed the tired look in Lila's eyes and asked, "Hey, everything okay? You seem a bit tired"
Lila sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Ugh, you wouldn't believe it. My professor decided to be a complete ass today. As if being a med student isn't stressful enough already."
Sugar frowned sympathetically. "That sounds rough. What happened?"
Lila shook her head, frustration evident in her voice. "He just kept piling on the assignments and deadlines, like he doesn't care that we have other classes and responsibilities too."
Mimi hugged Lila warmly. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that. But hey, you made it. Now you can relax and take a nap if needed, and we'll deal with that jerk of a professor later."
Lila smiled gratefully at her friends, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. "Thanks, guys. You're the best."
"Lila! You're finally here!" Sol, Sienna, and Jade exclaimed as they rushed over to her, pulling her into a hug.
"Practice started an hour ago. Where have you been, girlie?" Sol questioned, her tone teasing but with a hint of concern.
Lila laughed sheepishly, feeling slightly guilty for being late. "Sorry, sorry! I got held up with a stubborn professor. But I'm here now, ready to support you guys," she replied, her smile brightening as she felt the warmth of her friends' embrace.
Sol grinned, squeezing her shoulder affectionately. "Well, better late than never. Let's get you situated!"
Sol and Jade helped Lila to her seat, ensuring she was comfortable. But before she could settle in, Sugar interrupted her.
“Oh my god, Lila, guess what!” Sugar started, glancing at Keer.
“What?” Lila questioned, intrigued by Sugar's tone.
“Keer’s drinking Monster again,” Sugar said quickly before darting away.
Lila's head snapped towards Keer, her eyes widening in disbelief. “KEER!”
“NUH UH,” Keer protested as she ran towards the other side of the court, trying to evade Lila's impending lecture.
“We are SO talking about this after practice!” Lila shouted across the court, determination clear in her voice.
Mimi, standing on the side, shook her head and chuckled. "I told her," she remarked with a knowing smile. She clapped her hands to get the cheerleaders’ attention. “Alright, girls, break is over! let’s get back to it! We’ve got a routine to nail!”
Sienna turned back to her team, her voice rising above the noise. “Come on, guys, back on the court! Let’s give it everything we’ve got!”
As the practice continued, Lila's presence served as a source of encouragement for her friends, their spirits lifted by her unwavering support. Though she wasn't on the court with them, her mere presence made a difference. Lila took advantage of this time to study for her upcoming quiz, determined to balance her responsibilities as a student with her commitment to supporting her friends.
With her textbooks spread out before her, Lila delved into her studies, occasionally glancing up to cheer for her friends as they practiced tirelessly. Despite the distractions of the gymnasium, she remained focused, her determination to succeed mirrored in the dedication of her friends on the court.
Practice had finally ended, and everyone felt a mixture of hunger and exhaustion. With a collective sigh of relief, they made their way to the locker room to freshen up before heading out for dinner together.
The locker room buzzed with chatter and laughter as they stripped off their sweaty clothes and washed away the grime of practice. "Man, I'm starving!" exclaimed Sol, her stomach growling audibly.
Jade chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Same here. I can't wait to devour a burger!"
Mimi grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I heard this diner has the best milkshakes in town. I'm definitely getting one!"
As they emerged from the locker room, dressed in fresh clothes and with renewed energy, Lila joined them, a bright smile on her face. Together, they made their way to their favorite diner, their laughter and chatter filling the air as they walked.
Around the table, laughter and conversation flowed freely as they recounted the highlights of the day and teased each other affectionately. "Remember that time when Sienna attempted that backflip and almost landed on her face?" joked Keer, earning a round of laughter from the group.
Sienna playfully rolled her eyes. "Hey, I nailed it eventually! Practice makes perfect, right?"
The group erupted into laughter, their spirits buoyed by the easy camaraderie that defined their friendship. As they continued to enjoy their meal, their conversation drifted from playful banter to more heartfelt topics.
"So, Keer, what was Sugar saying about the Monster Energy drink?" Lila asked, arching an eyebrow curiously.
Keer chuckled, shaking her head. "I know, I know. Mimi already gave me an earful about it," she admitted, a sheepish grin tugging at her lips. "But old habits die hard, I guess."
Lila nodded sympathetically, her expression softening with concern. "Just be careful, okay? Those drinks can be really bad for you," she cautioned, her voice gentle but firm.
Keer sighed, nodding in acknowledgment. "Yeah, I know," she admitted reluctantly. "But sometimes, I just need that extra boost to get through the day."
Mimi, who had been listening in on their conversation, nodded in agreement. "I understand, but it's important to be mindful of what you're putting into your body," she chimed in, her tone serious.
Lila smiled gratefully at Mimi's support before turning back to Keer. "Seriously, though, you should try to cut back. Your health is important, and those drinks are doing more harm than good."
Keer nodded, a hint of sheepishness in her expression. "Thanks, Lila. I'll try to do better(LIES)," she promised, her voice sincere.
With a supportive nod, Lila returned her attention to the group, the conversation shifting back to lighter topics.
"So, what are we going to do after dinner?" asked Jade, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Mimi glanced around the table, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. "How about a movie night? We can pick up some snacks and binge-watch our favorite films."
Keer nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds like a plan! I'm down for some popcorn and a good movie."
Lila, smiled warmly at the suggestion. "That sounds perfect. I've been meaning to catch up on some movies."
Excitement bubbled among the group as they discussed which movies to watch and who would be in charge of bringing the snacks. Mimi volunteered to pick up the popcorn, while Sugar insisted on bringing a selection of candies.
As they waited for their food to arrive, their conversation drifted to lighter topics, and laughter filled the air. They reminisced about their favorite movie nights in the past, sharing fond memories of cozying up on the couch with blankets and pillows, surrounded by good company.
When their meals arrived, they dug in eagerly, savoring each bite and enjoying the delicious flavors of their favorite diner dishes. The atmosphere was lively and full of warmth, the bond between them growing stronger with every shared moment.
As the evening wore on and their plates were cleared, they made plans to head back to Mimi's place for the movie marathon. With anticipation building, they settled the bill and made their way out of the diner, their excitement palpable.
Outside, the night air was crisp and cool, a perfect backdrop for their movie night adventure. With laughter and chatter echoing through the streets, they walked arm in arm, eager to continue their evening of fun and friendship. And as they reached their destination, they knew that the night ahead would be filled with laughter, memories, and the joy of being together.
"So, scary movie everyone?" Mimi suggested with a mischievous smirk on her face, knowing full well that her friends disliked scary movies.
Jade's eyes widened in mock horror. "Oh no, not again! You know I can't handle scary movies."
Sienna laughed, shaking her head. "Count me out too. I'd rather not have nightmares for a week."
Keer nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's stick to something lighthearted. I'm not in the mood to be scared out of my wits."
Lila chuckled, siding with her friends. "I'm with them. How about we go for a comedy instead? Something that will make us laugh until our sides hurt."
Mimi feigned disappointment, but her eyes twinkled with amusement. "Fine, fine. We'll save the horror movies for another time. Comedy it is!"
Sol and Sugar, who had been listening to the conversation from across the room, chimed in with their agreement. "Yeah, let's keep it light and funny," Sol suggested, flashing a grin at the group.
Sugar nodded enthusiastically. "I'm with you guys. Comedy sounds like the perfect choice."
With everyone in agreement, they settled in for their movie marathon, surrounded by snacks and blankets.
As the movie started playing, they all settled in for what they hoped would be a night of laughter and fun. However, things took an unexpected turn when the DVD player decided to rebel against their plans.
Just as the opening credits began to roll, the screen flickered and went blank. "What's going on?" exclaimed Mimi, furrowing her brows in confusion.
Keer leaned forward to inspect the DVD player, but before she could figure out the problem, the screen suddenly burst back to life. Instead of the comedy they were expecting, they were greeted with the sight of a cartoon llama dancing across the screen.
The room erupted into laughter as they realized they had accidentally switched to a children's movie instead. "How did that even happen?" exclaimed Sienna, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.
"It must be possessed by the ghost of a kid who wants to watch cartoons," joked Jade, earning a round of chuckles from the group.
Undeterred by the unexpected turn of events, they decided to roll with it and enjoy the silliness of the cartoon llama.
As the cartoon llama continued its absurd dance on the screen, the group couldn't contain their laughter. They leaned back on the couch, clutching their stomachs and wiping away tears of mirth.
But just as they were getting into the groove of the unexpected entertainment, there was a sudden power outage. The room plunged into darkness, leaving them all startled and disoriented.
"Did someone forget to pay the electricity bill?" joked Sugar, her voice tinged with amusement.
Sol fumbled for her phone, using its flashlight to illuminate the room. "I think we just got pranked by the universe," she quipped, earning a round of chuckles from the group.
Undeterred by the sudden setback, Mimi sprang into action. "Who's up for a game of flashlight tag?" she suggested, a mischievous glint in her eye.
Before anyone could protest, she darted off into the darkness, her laughter echoing through the room. The others quickly followed suit, their shrieks and giggles filling the air as they chased each other around the room with their makeshift flashlights.
For the next hour, they forgot all about the movie and the power outage, lost in the simple joy of playing like kids again. And as the lights flickered back on and they collapsed onto the couch, breathless and laughing, they knew that sometimes, the best memories were made when things didn't go according to plan.
As they caught their breath from the impromptu game of flashlight tag, they noticed a faint glow emanating from the window. Curious, they peered outside to see the stars twinkling in the night sky, casting a magical glow over the neighborhood.
"Hey, why don't we go stargazing?" suggested Lila, her eyes bright with excitement.
The idea was met with unanimous enthusiasm, and they quickly gathered blankets and pillows before heading out to the backyard. They lay on the grass, gazing up at the heavens above, their laughter fading into contented silence as they marveled at the beauty of the night sky.
"Look, a shooting star!" exclaimed Sienna, pointing excitedly at a streak of light blazing across the sky.
They all made wishes, their voices hushed with awe and wonder, as they watched the stars twinkle and dance above them. In that moment, surrounded by the warmth of friendship and the vastness of the universe, they felt a profound sense of peace and connection.
They all made wishes, their voices hushed with awe and wonder, as they watched the stars twinkle and dance above them. In that moment, surrounded by the warmth of friendship and the vastness of the universe, they felt a profound sense of peace and connection.
"Do you think we'd be friends in every universe?" Sienna pondered aloud, breaking the tranquil silence that enveloped them.
Jade chuckled softly, her gaze fixed on the stars above. "Definitely. We're stuck with each other for eternity, whether we like it or not."
Keer grinned, nudging Jade playfully. "Speak for yourself. You may annoy me, but I wouldn't have it any other way."
Sugar smiled, her heart swelling with affection for her friends. "Agreed. No matter where life takes us, we'll always find our way back to each other."
Mimi nodded in agreement, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "I couldn't imagine my life without you guys. You're my family."
Lila wrapped her arms around Mimi, pulling her into a tight hug. "And you're stuck with us, whether you like it or not."
Sol, who had been silently observing the conversation, spoke up with a grin. "Well, if we're stuck together for eternity, we might as well make the best of it. Here's to friendship, in this universe and every other."
As the time passed, it was time for everyone to head home, but not before a final exchange of encouragement and excitement.
"Everyone ready for the finals tomorrow?" Jade asked, breaking the silence that had settled over the group.
"Of course, I'm anxious but ready," Sienna replied, her determination shining through her nerves.
"Same here," Sol chimed in, her confidence unwavering as she prepared mentally for the challenge ahead.
"Me too," Sugar added, her voice tinged with excitement and a hint of nervousness.
"I agree," Keer affirmed, her competitive spirit burning brightly as she anticipated the upcoming competition.
"How about you, Mimi? Aren't scouts going to be there?" Sol inquired, curiosity dancing in her eyes.
"Yeah, they are, and I'm ready to amaze them with my flips," Mimi declared confidently, a smirk playing on her lips as she flicked her hair with flair, eliciting laughter from her friends.
"Lila, you're going to be there as a medic assistant, right?" Keer questioned, turning her attention to Lila.
"I am, actually! I'll take care of your guys' injuries and be there to support you. It's a win-win!" Lila replied with a grin, her eagerness to help evident in her voice.
"Ena and Kaye are gonna be there tomorrow too!" Sugar exclaimed, her excitement palpable. "They literally went on a trip without us. Rude!" Sugar scoffed, her playful annoyance evident.
"I can't wait to see Kaye," Jade sighed lovingly, a dreamy look in her eyes as she thought about her “friend”.
"Gay," Keer interjected with a teasing grin, eliciting chuckles from the group at her playful teasing.
With their plans set and their excitement palpable, they said their goodbyes and headed home. As they dispersed, Mimi called out, "Get home safe, everyone!" her voice filled with warmth and genuine concern, their hearts filled with anticipation for the finals tomorrow.
The next morning, everyone woke up with their hearts racing, their minds filled with anticipation and excitement. Today was the day they had been practicing for, for months. It was game day.
As the tension mounted in the locker room before the game, Sienna paced back and forth, her nerves getting the best of her. "God, guys, I'm so nervous all of a sudden," she admitted, her voice tinged with anxiety.
Mimi noticed her friend's distress and stepped forward, determination shining in her eyes. She gently grabbed Sienna's face, ensuring they were eye to eye. "Sienna, listen to me," she said firmly. "You are going to do so well, I promise you. You are an amazing player, and you have an amazing team by your side. I believe in you."
Sienna's gaze softened as she absorbed Mimi's words of encouragement. With a deep breath, she nodded, feeling a surge of confidence wash over her. "Thanks, Mimi. I needed that," she said gratefully.
Sienna's announcement hung heavy in the air, her words echoing with a mixture of solemnity and regret. "But I have a speech," she continued, her voice steady but tinged with emotion. "I know we've had a rough time lately, and we've been through so much together. But I have news... and I'm sorry that I kept it from all of you. This will be my last game."
Mimi's eyes widened in disbelief, her heart sinking at the revelation. "Your last game?" she echoed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sienna nodded, her expression somber. "I know it's sudden, and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "But I've made a decision that I can't back down from. This game... it's my farewell."
Jade's eyes welled with tears, her voice trembling as she spoke. "But why now, Sienna? Why leave us?"
Sienna's bittersweet smile touched her lips as she met Jade's gaze, her eyes reflecting a mixture of sadness and determination. "I've made a decision, one that I know in my heart is the right one," she explained, her tone resolute. "And as much as it pains me to leave, I want to focus on school and my classes."
Keer's eyes widened, a mixture of surprise and concern flickering across her features. "Wow, Sienna, I didn't see this coming," she admitted, her voice filled with genuine concern. "But if this is what you feel is best for you, then I support you one hundred percent."
Sienna nodded gratefully, her smile softening. "Thank you, Keer," she said sincerely, appreciating her friend's understanding.
Sol's expression softened, her eyes reflecting a sense of understanding. "We'll miss you, Sienna," she said quietly, her voice tinged with sadness.
Sugar's shoulders slumped, her expression a mixture of sadness and acceptance. "I guess this is goodbye, then," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
As Sienna's words sank in, the locker room fell into a somber silence, each of her teammates grappling with the weight of her announcement.
"It's not a goodbye," Mimi said firmly, her voice cutting through the silence. "It's just a 'see you later.' Sienna may be leaving the team, but she'll always be our friend and a part of our family."
Jade nodded in agreement, her eyes bright with determination. "That's right. No matter where life takes us, we'll always be there for each other."
Sol and Keer exchanged a glance, their expressions reflecting a shared understanding. "We'll miss you, Sienna," Sol said softly, her voice filled with sincerity.
Sienna smiled gratefully at her friends, her heart warmed by their unwavering support. "Thank you, everyone," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "For everything. But enough sadness for now. We've got a game to play, and you best believe we are gonna win. So let me give us a pep talk."
With renewed determination shining in her eyes, Sienna took a step forward, her teammates gathering around her, their spirits uplifted by her words. "Listen up, team," she began, her voice ringing with confidence. "We've worked too hard, fought too long, to let anything stand in our way. We are strong, we are capable, and we are ready to show the world what we're made of."
Mimi nodded in agreement, a fire burning in her eyes. "That's right. We may face challenges, but we face them together. And together, there's nothing we can't overcome."
Jade grinned, her determination matching that of her teammates. "Let's show them what we're made of," she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.
As they walked out of the locker room, the team's anticipation for the game ahead grew palpable. With each step towards the court, their excitement mounted, their minds focused on the challenge that lay ahead.
Suddenly, Ena and Kaye rushed towards them, their faces lit up with excitement. They enveloped the team in a warm embrace, their words of encouragement echoing in the air. "Good luck, everyone!" they exclaimed, their voices filled with genuine enthusiasm.
Sienna smiled gratefully at her friends, feeling a surge of confidence wash over her. "Thanks, Ena, Kaye," she said, her voice filled with appreciation. "We'll give it our all."
As Ena and Kaye made their way to their seats, the team's spirits soared, their bond strengthened by the support of their friends. With their words of encouragement echoing in their hearts, they stepped onto the court, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them. And as the game began, they knew that no matter what, they would face it together, united by friendship and a shared determination to succeed.
Jade nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with intensity. "We've come too far to back down now. Let's finish this strong!"
Sol pounded her fist into her palm, a fierce glint in her eyes. "They're not going to know what hit them. Let's go out there and show them what we're made of!"
Keer and Sugar exchanged a glance, their determination mirrored in each other's eyes. "We've got this, guys," Keer said, her voice steady. "Let's go out there and give it everything we've got."
With a final rallying cry, the team broke their huddle and returned to the court, their determination renewed and their focus laser-sharp. As the third quarter began, they were ready to take on whatever challenges came their way, united in their quest for victory.
As the teams returned to the court for the third quarter, the tension in the gymnasium reached a fever pitch. The air was thick with anticipation, and every breath felt like a struggle as the players battled fatigue and exhaustion.
Sienna's team dug deep, their chests heaving with exertion as they fought to maintain their lead. Beads of sweat dripped down their faces, their jerseys clinging to their bodies as they pushed themselves to the limit.
The scoreboard above the court displayed the current score: 42-40, with Sienna's team still clinging to a narrow lead. Every point mattered now, and the pressure was on as they fought to extend their advantage.
On the sidelines, Mimi and her cheerleaders rallied the crowd, their voices ringing out with encouragement as they urged their team to victory. The cheers and applause were deafening, the energy palpable as the fans roared their support.
But amidst the chaos and intensity of the game, one thing was clear: Sienna and her teammates were determined to emerge victorious, no matter what obstacles stood in their way. With every possession, every rebound, and every shot, they gave it their all, knowing that the outcome of the game hung in the balance.
s the third quarter intensified, Sienna found herself momentarily distracted by Mimi's spirited cheering and the thunderous applause from the crowd. It was in that split second of diversion that an opposing player seized the opportunity, delivering a vicious foul that sent Sienna crashing to the floor.
A collective gasp echoed through the gymnasium as Sienna writhed in pain, clutching her injured leg. The sudden turn of events left everyone stunned, their shouts of encouragement replaced by cries of alarm.
"Whoa, whoa, what the FUCK?!" Ena exclaimed from the sidelines, her voice laced with disbelief as she watched the scene unfold.
Sol, Jade, Keer, and Sugar rushed to Sienna's side, their faces etched with concern as they assessed the extent of her injuries. "Where's the doctor? Where's Lila?!" they shouted, their voices frantic as they searched for assistance.
Mimi, her heart pounding with fear, joined the frantic search, scanning the sidelines for any sign of Lila. "She's over there!" Mimi exclaimed, her voice trembling as she pointed towards Lila, who was making her way through the crowd towards Sienna.
With Lila's arrival, the team breathed a collective sigh of relief, knowing that their friend was in good hands. As Lila assessed Sienna's injuries and sprang into action, the rest of the team stood by anxiously, their hearts heavy with worry but their determination unwavering.
However, Lila's confident demeanor quickly escalated into a standoff with the doctor as she questioned his methods.
"You sure you're doing it right, doc? Maybe you should let a pro handle it," Lila quipped, her tone laced with sarcasm as she nudged the doctor aside.
The doctor raised an eyebrow, unamused by Lila's boldness. "And who might you be?" he asked, his tone dripping with skepticism.
Lila squared her shoulders, refusing to be intimidated. "I'm Lila, the team's medical assistant," she retorted, her voice tinged with defiance. "I've got this under control."
The doctor chuckled patronizingly. "Ah, a student trying to play doctor. How quaint," he remarked, his tone condescending.
But Lila wasn't about to back down. "Better than a doctor who's lost his touch," she shot back, her words sharp as she took charge of the situation.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to take care of my friend."
With that, Lila returned her attention to Sienna, her focus laser-sharp as she continued to assess her injuries and provide the necessary care. And as the rest of the team looked on, they couldn't help but admire Lila's determination and resilience in the face of adversity.
As Lila continued to attend to Sienna, the rest of the team's frustration boiled over into a torrent of colorful language directed at the opposing team.
Sol, her voice dripping with anger, let loose a string of expletives that would make a sailor blush. "Those dirty, no-good sons of—"
"Sol, language!" Keer interrupted, though her own vocabulary wasn't much better as she joined in with her own tirade.
Sugar's face flushed with rage as she clenched her fists, her voice trembling with emotion. "I can't believe those assholes would pull a stunt like that!"
Jade, her usually calm demeanor shattered by the events on the court, added her own choice words to the mix. "They're a bunch of cheating bastards, plain and simple!"
As the team vented their frustrations, their words echoed, a symphony of anger and indignation that reverberated around the room. And though their language may have been colorful, their loyalty to each other burned bright, a beacon of solidarity in the face of hardship.
As the tension reached its peak, Sugar's frustration and anger boiled over, driving her to lunge towards one of the opposing players. With a sudden burst of energy, she surged forward, her eyes flashing with a mix of determination and fury.
"Sugar, stop!" Keer yelled, reaching out to grab her teammate before she could make contact.
But Sugar's momentum carried her forward, her arms outstretched as she aimed for her target. The opposing player recoiled in surprise, instinctively bracing for impact as Sugar closed the distance between them.
The gymnasium fell silent as everyone watched the scene unfold, the air thick with anticipation. It was a tense moment, fraught with the possibility of violence, as Sugar's lunge threatened to escalate into something more.
But just as it seemed that the situation might spiral out of control, the referees intervened, stepping in to separate the two players before any further escalation could occur.
As the tension dissipated and the game resumed, Sienna's team breathed a collective sigh of relief, grateful that disaster had been averted. It was a stark reminder of the intense emotions that could surface in the heat of competition, and the importance of keeping a cool head in the face of adversity.
The game entered its final moments, the score stood at a razor-thin margin of 65-64, with Sienna's team trailing by just one point. The tension in the gymnasium was palpable as the clock ticked down, every second feeling like an eternity.
With the ball in their possession, Sienna's team knew they had one final chance to turn the game around. And as the ball was passed to Keer, who was already fueled by anger from earlier events, she saw her opportunity to make a statement.
With a thunderous roar, Keer charged towards the opposing team's defense, her determination written across her face. In a breathtaking display of athleticism, she soared through the air, defying gravity as she went up for the dunk.
The gymnasium erupted into chaos as Keer slammed the ball through the hoop, scoring the winning basket in dramatic fashion. Sol, feeling the rush of victory, pointed her finger mockingly at the opposing team, a smirk playing on her lips as she taunted them with a silent challenge.
Jade, caught up in the moment, joined in with her own taunts, her voice ringing out across the court. "You saw that, hoes?! You saw that?!"
The opposing team, their tempers already frayed, erupted into a frenzy of anger and frustration, their shouts and curses filling the air. Before anyone could react, punches were thrown, and the gymnasium devolved into chaos.
Ena, watching from the sidelines, could hardly believe her eyes. "What the fuck?!" she exclaimed, leaping down from her seat to join the fight.
In the midst of the chaos, Sienna, Sol, Jade, Keer, and Sugar stood their ground, refusing to back down in the face of adversity. With fists flying and adrenaline pumping, they fought back against their opponents, their determination unyielding.
After the chaos on the court subsided and order was restored, Sienna's team found themselves in the locker room, still buzzing with adrenaline from their thrilling victory. Despite the lingering tension from the altercation, there was an undeniable sense of camaraderie among them, a shared bond forged in the heat of battle.
As they caught their breath and tended to any minor injuries sustained during the scuffle, the team reflected on the events of the game, laughing and joking as they relived their triumphs and near-misses on the court.
"We really pulled through in the end, didn't we?" Sienna remarked, a proud smile on her face as she looked around at her teammates.
Sol nodded enthusiastically, her eyes shining with excitement. "Hell yeah, we did! And did you see that dunk from Keer? Absolute legend!"
Keer grinned modestly, her cheeks flushing with pride at the praise. "Thanks, guys. But we couldn't have done it without everyone giving it their all out there."
Sugar, still buzzing with adrenaline, punched the air triumphantly. "That's right! And did you see the look on their faces when we won? Priceless!"
Jade chuckled, shaking her head in amusement. "I swear, I thought they were gonna explode with anger. But hey, that's what they get for messing with us!"
Mimi and Lila joined them, their presence adding an extra layer of support and camaraderie to the group.
Mimi beamed with pride as she looked around at her teammates, her cheerleading uniform slightly rumpled but her spirit undimmed. "You guys were incredible out there," she exclaimed, her voice filled with admiration. "I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you."
Lila nodded in agreement, her expression one of genuine warmth and affection. "Seriously, you guys showed incredible resilience and teamwork. And Sienna, I'm so glad you're okay," she added, giving her friend a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder.
Sienna smiled gratefully at Mimi and Lila, feeling a surge of gratitude for their unwavering support. "Thanks, guys. I couldn't have done it without you," she said, her voice tinged with emotion.
Sol, ever the optimist, grinned mischievously as she looked around at her teammates. "Well, you know what they say: 'Victory tastes sweeter after a good fight!'"
As the team celebrated their victory in the locker room, Kaye and Ena arrived, their faces alight with excitement and pride.
Kaye's eyes immediately sought out Jade, a playful grin spreading across her face as she made her way over to her girlfriend. "Hey, you," she said, pulling Jade into a tight hug. "You were amazing out there."
Jade returned the hug with equal fervor, her heart swelling with affection for Kaye. "Thanks, Kaye," she said, planting a kiss on Kaye's cheek. "I couldn't have done it without you cheering me on."
Ena, meanwhile, greeted the rest of the team with high-fives and congratulatory hugs, her enthusiasm infectious. "You guys crushed it out there!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with admiration. "I've never seen a game like that before."
As the celebration in the locker room continued, the team decided to head out for a well-deserved meal together. They piled into cars, still buzzing with excitement and adrenaline from the game, and made their way to their favorite diner.
The atmosphere at the diner was lively, with laughter and chatter filling the air as they settled into their seats. They ordered their favorite dishes and shared stories from the game, reliving their favorite moments and teasing each other about the more humorous ones.
After their meal at the diner, the team decided to continue their celebration at the beach. With the sound of waves crashing in the background and the salty sea air filling their lungs, they kicked off their shoes and ran towards the water, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the ocean.
The sound of waves crashing against the shore greeted them as they arrived, the salty air filling their lungs and invigorating their spirits. They spread out blankets and set up a makeshift bonfire, the crackling flames casting a warm glow over their faces as they settled in for the evening.
As Jade and Kaye sat side by side, their fingers intertwined like two pieces of a puzzle, they couldn't help but feel a sense of serenity wash over them. Their quiet moments together were filled with shared glances and knowing smiles, their bond growing stronger with each passing moment.
Meanwhile, Keer and Sol found themselves in the midst of one of their trademark banter sessions, their playful jabs and sarcastic remarks laced with an underlying tension. Despite their differences, there was a mutual respect between them, a recognition of each other's quirks and strengths that kept their dynamic intriguing.
Lila, seeking solace by the water's edge, found herself lost in thought as she watched the waves crash against the shore. Her stolen glances at Mimi betrayed the turmoil of her emotions, torn between longing and uncertainty.
Caught in the middle of a silent tug-of-war between Lila and Sienna, Mimi struggled to maintain her composure amidst the palpable tension. Despite her best efforts to focus on the laughter and camaraderie of her friends, the storm brewing beneath the surface threatened to engulf her.
Sienna, ever the peacemaker, attempted to diffuse the tension with her trademark optimism and charm. Her rallying cry for a game of beach volleyball was met with enthusiastic cheers, her infectious energy uplifting the spirits of the group.
And amidst the chaos, Ena and Sugar found themselves embroiled in a heated debate over the merits of various beach snacks. Their exaggerated gestures and comically exaggerated expressions drew laughter from the group, their playful banter a welcome distraction from the tension that hung in the air.
As the night wore on, the team found solace in each other's company, their shared laughter and shared experiences forging bonds that would withstand the test of time. And as they gazed out at the vast expanse of the ocean before them, they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, united as a team in victory and in friendship.
Everyone gathered around a blazing bonfire after a game of beach volleyball, the warmth of the flames throwing a comfortable glow over their faces. They took a seat in their homemade seats, ready to relax and tell stories long into the night, beverages in hand and laughter in their hearts.
As they gathered around the bonfire, Mimi raised her drink in a toast. "To unforgettable moments and lasting friendships," she declared, a warm smile gracing her lips.
"To unforgettable moments and lasting friendships!" the team echoed, clinking their glasses together in celebration.
Jade, her eyes twinkling mischievously, nudged Kaye playfully. "Remember that time we got lost on that hiking trail?" she teased, eliciting laughter from the group.
Kaye chuckled, shaking her head. "How could I forget? We ended up miles off course, but at least we had each other for company," she replied, squeezing Jade's hand affectionately.
Sol, taking a sip of her drink, grinned at Keer. "You were unstoppable on the court today, Keer. I swear, you were like a force of nature out there," she praised, raising her glass in salute.
Keer grinned back, a hint of pride in her eyes. "Thanks, Sol. Couldn't have done it without your passes," she replied, giving Sol a playful wink.
Ena and Sugar, sharing a knowing glance, burst into laughter as they recalled a particularly embarrassing moment from their past. "I still can't believe we did that!" Ena exclaimed between giggles, wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.
Sugar nodded, her cheeks flushed with mirth. "I know, right? But hey, it makes for a great story now," she replied, clinking her glass with Ena's in a silent toast to their friendship.
Lila, her gaze soft as she looked around at her friends, felt a surge of gratitude wash over her. "I'm so glad we're all here together," she said, her voice filled with sincerity. "Cheers to nights like these."
"Cheers!" the team chorused, raising their glasses in unison as the crackling of the fire and the sound of their laughter filled the night air.
As the flames danced in the firelight and laughter echoed into the night, Mimi raised her glass once more, her heart overflowing with gratitude. "To us," she said, her voice soft but resolute, "and to us being friends in every universe."
The sentiment hung in the air like a promise, binding them together in a bond that transcended time and space. In that moment, surrounded by the warmth of the fire and the love of their friends, they knew that no matter where life took them, they would always have each other.
When we’re old and people ask us about our 20s we’ll show them all of us and tell them
'we were fangirls together'
The End.
The conjunx enduras (๑°ㅁ°๑)
Just a little note that I drew this all by memory so they don't look very accurate especially Knockout's first pic. It's actually my first time drawing them :) ! I'm not particularly proud of this piece but I still wanted to post this!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I drew all these during my biology class since no teachers were present at the time. I've been absolutely sucked into the transformers fandom for a month or 2 , I used to watch them as kids but never really got very into it until now!
a little MW x mignon AU
Found this year-old AU collecting dust at the bottom of my drafts and decided to send it out into the world! I must have started it immediately after I finished Mignon. I just can't resist the pull of eager puppy x aloof cat combo ¯\_(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)_/¯ I remember falling in love with the atmosphere, that gritty city bathed in red light, and wanting to explore the dynamic of Youngwon and Mignon's early relationship. You can find 1.3k of an opening scene below ^^
Mingyu's teeth are sharper than Wonwoo's own.
It's hard to ignore them when he's always flashing that huge grin of his as he pokes his head through the infirmary door. As if there's anything to smile about in this hellhole. But here he is again, smiling like a fool while Wonwoo patches up a cut on his forehead. It's not an injury from a fight, but the result of his clumsy nature. Smacked his head on the garage door at the mechanic's, supposedly, and he was a bit careless and reopened the wound.
The points of Mingyu's canines dig into his plush lower lip ever so slightly. Wonwoo's eyes flicker downwards, and he forces them back up. Mingyu's grin grows just a touch wider.
Try as he might, Wonwoo can't bring himself to hate the sight. It's what a kid like Mingyu should be doing, going to university and charming countless new friends into his pocket with his good looks. He shouldn't be stuck here getting roughed up on the regular just for some cash that'll be burned up by the weekend. Especially not when the majority of his modest earnings goes straight into the wallet of that piss-poor excuse for a man Mingyu calls his coach.
There's an earnestness in his deep brown eyes that the ring hasn't beaten out of him yet. Truth be told, Wonwoo doesn't want to see the day when Mingyu's toothy grin vanishes for good, which is why he tells Mingyu the same thing night after night:
"When are you going to find yourself a proper job and get the hell out of here?"
And flippant as ever, Mingyu will shoot back his usual response, "This is all I'm good for, ssaem."
The worst part is that he says it like he believes it. Heavens, would Wonwoo love to track down the bastard who taught him such complete bullshit.
Mingyu's a smart boy. Probably had a promising future before he got tangled up in all of this, though he's somewhat notorious for being tight-lipped about his past. He'd dropped by the infirmary one night just to quietly pore over a book in the corner. When Wonwoo succumbed to his curiosity and asked what he was reading, Mingyu showed him the cover of a second-hand anatomy textbook.
"I have a lot to catch up on," he'd said with a shy smile, "y'know, since I never finished high school and all. I was thinking it would be nice to go to university someday... ah, but that'll probably never happen."
If Wonwoo actually had some semblance of a spine, he would have agreed and told Mingyu to abandon that fruitless dream. But he couldn't bear to be so cruel as to rub salt into the wound when Mingyu already thought so lowly of his future, nor could he lie and offer up some nice words of empty optimism. In the end, all he did was ruffle Mingyu's hair in a rare gesture of affection.
The sound of Mingyu's voice calling for him drags Wonwoo away from his musings and back into the moment.
"Ssaem," Mingyu says lowly, breathlessly. His canines are still out on proud display, and Wonwoo can see the mole on the tip of his nose. How did Wonwoo fail to notice him getting this close? "Your eyes are so pretty. Have I ever told you that?"
Damn it all, Wonwoo thinks as he feels his ears growing warm.
"You must have hit your head too hard," he dismisses with a scoff, rolling his chair backwards and standing up to go to the sink. "You're all done. Now get out already."
Mingyu makes a noise of protest, most likely pouting, but there's a yell of his name from outside. It's that loud-mouthed coach of his, screaming at him to hurry up and get ready. Wonwoo really wishes the man would shut the fuck up for just one night.
Left with no choice, Mingyu bids Wonwoo goodbye in a rather dejected tone and slips out of the infirmary. He's one of the few people at the club who have the courtesy to close the door gently on his way out. He didn't get a chance to wish him good luck, Wonwoo realises with a sigh. Not that Mingyu will need it with the state of his current performance.
As Wonwoo reaches to turn the tap on, he catches sight of Mingyu's blood streaked against the side of his index finger. It's already tacky, half-dried and flaking on his skin. He inspects it idly while the water runs on and on, splattering against the basin.
Against his better judgement, Wonwoo brings his hand to his mouth and licks it clean. The rich taste of metal coats his tongue.
Mingyu loses the fight.
Wonwoo knows this not because he saw the match, nor did he hear the gossip circulating amongst the club's patrons. No, he knows because Mingyu flinches hard when Wonwoo places a light hand on his shoulder the next day.
Mingyu tries to put on a brave face, but he falters almost immediately beneath Wonwoo's gaze. Without a single word, he grabs the back of his collar and pulls his shirt over his head, then turns around. Even though Wonwoo knows what's coming, the sight still fills him with silent rage.
Bruises lash across Mingyu's back in long, red-purple stripes. It's a miracle the blows hadn't broken through skin. Wonwoo brushes his fingertips ever so slightly against one of the mottled bruises, and even that barely-there touch makes Mingyu's muscles tense up. It can't possibly be that he can no longer distinguish between a hand that holds no ill intent and one that means to hurt him.
"Why do you stay?" Wonwoo asks, no louder than a whisper.
"Coach didn't really hit me that hard. It looks worse than it is," Mingyu jumps to the defensive far too quickly for Wonwoo's liking. "I mean, he still gives me a roof over my head and he feeds me plenty, so... it's fine. It's 'cause I lost, anyway."
"Mingyu."
At the sound of his name, Mingyu peers over his shoulder. The corner of his mouth twitches up into a grin. He says, teasing, "Aw, you worried about me, ssaem?"
Yes. I am. I'm worried that living like this is going to tear you apart limb from limb. I'm worried that no matter how much I tend to your wounds, I won't be able to mend your broken spirit. I'm worried that someday, they'll push you beyond your limits and you'll just burn yourself and everything around you up like a supernova.
Wonwoo doesn't say any of these things. He stares at the tiles and forces himself to take a deep breath through his nose. Exhale. Once more.
"I'm going to have a word with your coach. How does he expect you to perform when he's already beaten you half to death?"
Mingyu snorts as he tugs his shirt back on, "I don't think Coach was worried about that at the time. Don't trouble yourself, ssaem. I can handle it."
Then, in a move so bold it shocks Wonwoo into total silence, Mingyu reaches out to trace a knuckle down Wonwoo's cheek and tips his chin up so their gazes catch and hold. Mingyu's eyes are gentle, and his smile has lost its sly edge. He looks so heartachingly young.
"Thanks for caring about me," he says softly before stepping back and leaving the infirmary just like that.
Late into the night, Mingyu's touch lingers like a phantom. The mere thought brings warmth to Wonwoo's cheeks as he prepares to lock up before sunrise, stopping at the spot where Mingyu had stood in front of him hours earlier. Not even a chilled bag of blood can quell the heat.
Wonwoo can feel his affection for Mingyu growing teeth and eyes and limbs, morphing into a creature of his own making and feeding upon the tender parts of his heart.
He would do well to kill it now before it has a chance to fester within him.
Do you have any tips for beginner artists?
Hmmmmm... Tips... (Personal advice incoming so take it with a grain of salt!)
- Honestly, just like other artists may have already said, look for inspiration :D!! A lot of artists like me start off with passion, but when that wavers cuz of whatever life circumstance has troubled us, it's in inspiration that reawakens that passion to keep us going forward! There's a lot out there and it varies in each artist which makes them feel inspired (๑˘︶˘๑)💖
- Another is to NOT stress about quality, especially reaching the point of comparing your art with others. Keep it casual, keep it as a hobby! Unless you take the business route, take it easy and it's best to enjoy the process of making your creations without pressure and time-constraints, aye? You can mix both but ya must keep it balanced! Don't let stress burn your passion out (;﹏;) ,,cuz time will eventually take its turn and whatever your goal may be.. mayhaps you wouldn't have even realized that you got your own brand/art style with your own audience that loves whatever you make! Or maybe just being proud to have accomplished maintaining your nice gallery of masterpieces once you go so far~ ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~✨
°° Sorry for the long essay, I wish to make it an answer worth reflecting on! I'm in the middle of trying to apply this advice in my own life, so I'm speaking from experience ^^;; I've gotten so many burnouts over the years, and still am trying to pick myself back up from one, which has led me to be so outdated and left behind with the ongoing trends or events of the media (╥_╥)... Either way, the nostalgic roadtrip I'm currently on is my current inspiration to draw and entertain those with similar interests!! I believe in you, Anon!! Just keep going and don't forget to take breaks too C: °°
-‘๑’- A Kitsune Appears -‘๑’-
This is my Otherkin Introduction post and will contain all/any info about me as an Otherkin. To learn more, continue reading below!
Tumblr media
☽ 彡 Hi! I'm Acchan and I am a Kitsune Otherkin. 彡 ☾
I've been awakened to my otherkin identity for roughly 15 years now. if you count the moment I came to know of 'otherkin'. Before that, I just knew I was different from other people and didn't have a way to explain it.
As for being a kitsune, though, that wasn't always the case. I actually went through years of different identities, none lasting more than a year and always switching/cycling through. There was wolf, mountain lion, bear, otter, lemur, red panda, tiger, leopard, coyote, fox - and quite a few more. I even had shifts/identities were I thought I was a dragon and a fae. Yet, like I said, none of them last and I was confused for a long time. It was when fox kept coming back and sticking, kind of like a base form, that I looked further into the reasonings of why I kept shifting identities/forms. Why I kept so easily being able to feel phantom limbs and mental shifts of other animals/creatures when I wasn't them. Then it hit me - kitsune. Kitsune are shapeshifters and can take the form of pretty much whatever they want or feel the mood to be in. I wasn't entirely sure I was a kitsune, but fox certainly felt like the right start, so I studied myself more. I analyzed a lot of what I did, how my shifts were, jotting down every little detail I could until I had enough put together that I was positive in being a kitsune.
And that's where I'm at today! A proud kitsune living her life day by day.
Tumblr media
ꕥ ⌗ Some Cool Facts ⌗ ꕥ
My kitsune identity lines up with the kitsune from Japanese mythology. It is also spiritual, meaning I feel as if I - the soul - reincarnated as a human to just chill and experience what humans experience. In all aspects of this life, I am human, but the real me, the soul driving this body around, is a kitsune.
As a kitsune, I am nogitsune, which just means I don't align with god Inari. Outside of all that, I still experience the typical animal instincts and urges of a normal fox, which is what I like to be known as in terms of simplicity. Just a fox who happens to have some extra tails.
▓ No, I'm not going to purposely trick you. ▓ No, I'm not evil.
... though I do love a good prank here and there. Hehe.
ꕥ ⌗ Shapeshifting ⌗ ꕥ
As a kitsune, I still experience shifts of animals/creatures. Some of these are involuntary as they switch with my emotions or in certain situations. Yet, my base is always Kitsune and that is my identity.
That said, here are the main forms I tend to shift into: - wolf (usually comes when I'm extremely angry) - leopard (not as common, but comes once in a while) - otter (only appears when I'm swimming or in/around water)
Some other forms that are rare but I still note down are: - red panda, husky, black bear.
I also will experience some extra limbs such as wings, but they are extremely rare for me to feel and only come from external stimuli (usually really windy days or if I'm on top of high spots).
Well, that about covers most of it. I think. I've never really done a 'otherkin' intro before, haha. Anyways, if you read this and got questions, feel free to ask me. Or, if you read this and now wanna be friends, then let's be friends!
stew and camping. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ oc x male reader
this is purely self-indulgent as well. this is purely just fluff, but I still don't want minors to interact.
purposely written in lowercase.
Tumblr media
kaisen is @kuroismss oc.
warnings: blood.
it was dark outside, and you were in your tent as you waited for aithen to return. he went to hunt for at least half an hour now.
after some time passed, you heard a familiar footstep, which indicates that aithen had finally come back from hunting.
you went outside your tent, immediately greeted with aithen. his shirt was unbuttoned, and of course, it was slightly bloody because of the fact he carried a whole deer back to the tent that you two were staying in for a bit.
"little crow, did you miss me?" aithen asks you, his voice was husky and deep, it was calming whenever you hear him talk to you.
"hmm, yeah, i missed you, aithen." you admit, even though aithen left for only half an hour to hunt cause he knew you were hungry.
"i'm sorry, i took so long, little crow. it was pretty difficult for me to hunt because i came across some thugs on the way." he apologized as he preps his axe to butcher the deer meat.
"it's okay, you don't need to apologize, aithen. can i go grab a few mushrooms and herbs? i saw a few of them when we were on our way here. besides, i also want to kill some time as you butcher the deer meat." you say, as you grabbed your usual herb basket that you always bring whenever you're out walking with aithen.
"can i go with you, yn?" a familiar child-like voice said, it was kaisen, aithen's little brother, he followed the two of you without the two of you knowing.
"kaisen, what are you doing here?!" you and aithen said in unison, confused as to how the hell kaisen got here.
"i might've.. i followed the two of you, and it was because i'm bored of staying in the castle! there isn't much to do whenever you both aren't at the  castle!" kaisen explained his reason, which was understandable and also reasonable he was still a kid after all, and he was really curious too.
"kaisen, i would rather you stay here with me and help me butcher the deer. it would take a lot longer if i'm the only one who is doing the work." aithen commanded, which surprisingly made kaisen stay with him to finish cutting up a few of the deer meat.
(๑-﹏-๑)
after twenty minutes, you finally came back with the herbs and mushrooms. it was an array of mushrooms, there were oyster mushrooms, chicken of the woods, and maitake mushrooms, which were the mushrooms that aithen or even you usually use when you both make stew.
kaisen helped make the bonfire, stacking stick by stick carefully. he also used some pine cones to easily light up the fire.
aithen was chopping the meat into bite size pieces, you didn't doubt it, he was really skilled with his axe and he is also a fantastic cook in the castle.
you were cutting the herbs and mushrooms, the mushrooms were cut into small pieces and you were sure that this could feed more than three people, as you finish cutting up the herbs and mushrooms you then went to the bonfire and then you put a dutch oven over the fire. you then put a slice of butter inside. after the butter melts, you then put the mushrooms inside of the dutch oven sautéing the mushrooms in progress.
as the mushrooms let out of its excess water, you then put the meat inside of the dutch oven as you seer it slightly. before you immediately poured the left-over beef broth that you brought from the castle.
finally, the stew had finished cooking. so you, kaisen, and aithen then sat next to the bonfire. of course, the three of you were excited to taste the stew.
author's note: Honestly, I felt like i rushed myself when I wrote this... probably not one of my best works, but I'm a little proud of how this turned out!
Cannibal Kratos???
I have another draft!!!!
ofc it’s GoW and it’s abt Kratos struggling with, uh, uhm, cannibalism. Anyway!! it’s only like 2k and again a DRAFT so when I eventually post it it may look different(⺣◡⺣)♡
Anyway I'm proud of myself for writing this much cuz I went from 2-3 oneshots a month to 2-3 sentences...
Still thinking of a name! Either The Spartan General's homecooked meals OR The Bite Of '83 bc haha funny FNAF reference
Tell me how to improve if u read! (๑˘ ₃˘๑)
It has been a rough winter. The farmers were even beginning to struggle to feed their own households last Kratos checked. That does not make him feel better.
He attempts foraging, but the ever-falling snow does a good job of hiding what the god desperately tries to find, and for once, the rage heating his body does nothing to melt everything around him.
Faye pretends their bare cupboards do not fill her with worry or bitterness. (Kratos would not blame her for those feelings, as he feels them himself.) She feigns contentment, not showing her hunger.
“We’ll be okay, Kratos,” she mocks, voice too cheery for the somber occasion. “I’ve improved the snares,” The snares that Kratos himself had made. Had his been inadequate? “any rabbit or fox near won’t be able to resist!”
“They’re likely gone, Faye. It’s been weeks without any roaming game,”
“That’s why they’ll be out looking, you big grump,” she attempts to tease. Kratos does not answer her. It takes energy to keep himself calm, and he cannot afford to waste so much when he has so little. The god glues his gaze to his hands as if they hold the answers to his problems. It takes effort to not bury his head in them.
To think something as straightforward as hunger would be one of Kratos’s problems makes his palms itch. He does not take pleasure in what he is capable of, but he has long stopped trying to deny its benefits. One of the old, then new, benefits had been the ability to provide for his family. Whether he fought thieves in his mother’s home during the night, or fought to keep his wife out of lepers’ dirtied hands. When he slaughtered a mortal woman for attempting to run with Faye’s ill son (He has not yet told Faye of that incident, too ashamed of his frantic fear for the panting boy). Or even something as simple as being able to feed them.
He is proud of his ability to keep them safe from beings other than himself, but he cannot claim to be proud now, not when he can hear the boy’s hushed voice asking about the contents of their larders.
His mother responds in an equally quiet voice, offering exactly what her impotent husband begged her to. “Of course there’s enough, silly boy,” she ruffles his strip of hair as he giggles, vainly attempting to keep his voice down still. Maybe, in fear of what an angry Kratos might do.
“Though,” she continues, and this surprises Kratos. He lifts his head and finds himself staring into his wife’s eyes. He does not know what she will say and Kratos worries. “It’s just a snack. The rest will be saved for tomorrow, got it?” she whispers. Her son whines, as all kids do. But not all kids have suffered through the hunger pains he has, and is currently suffering through. Ultimately, the boy agrees.
Faye gives him their last strips of cooked venison and promises a more fulfilling meal later, “Perhaps tomorrow?” she smiles, conspiratorially. Kratos tries not to wilt into himself like a wildflower subjected to the strong winds of the north. His wife not only knew how incompetent he was, not being able to provide for his home, but so did her son. She even went so far as to set a deadline for the god. Has he been inadequate for so long?
Unable to appear completely unaffected, he winces, knowing he’s more behind than he’s ever been concerning food. If the gods here were anything like the ones in Greece, then they were laughing their asses off, surrounded by rich meats and cakes and drink. They’d laugh, while wiping the crumbs off their faces and onto the floor. He’d witnessed it many times during his stay with the pantheon.
Kratos loosens his fists and focuses on the fire’s embers. He should not bother them with his anger, not now. Not when he’s the cause for their own intense anger. Kratos drowns them out with thoughts and plans of how to keep his home alive. Plan after plan, all seem lacking when he considers what is at risk.
What will happen when his time is up? Will Faye leave? Oh, he hopes not; not into the biting winds. Atreus would not make the trip. So he thinks more, and more. He shakes, and shakes his head.
Wasn’t he clever, so long ago? Where is that general and his strategic plans? Then, Kratos remembers.
That man is long dead, perishing along with Sparta.
In his place is Kratos of Midgard. The god mourning the wife that will surely disappear into the night once she catches a stronger whiff of his limitations, and the boy so hungry he’d consider eating his own flesh if Faye would let him.
Kratos hears the snores of the boy. He relaxes, not feeling as watched.
Now that his body is slack, exhaustion slips through the cracks of the shield he had maintained throughout the day. Kratos looks away from the fire, only to see sunlight peeking through the hastily repaired roof. Kratos frowns at the beam and looks up further, meeting his wife’s eyes.
He wishes he didn’t. He wishes he’d kept his eyes where they were, but now it’s too late and his wife no longer has that smile on her face. Instead, it’s replaced with a nasty frown so deep it must hurt. “My love, do you feel alright? You have not eaten,”
“How could I?” he retorts, ignoring the snoring boy in her arms. He had to sleep on an empty stomach again.
“Kratos,” she continues, voice soft. “Do not push yourself,” she requests with a smile. Kratos has a feeling that if her arms were empty, she would’ve gathered him in them. It confuses him, but he does not dwell.
“I will check the snares”
Faye frowns once again. She seems to be doing it more often than not. “What? I only just set them out! You’ll mess with the scents I attached,”
“Then, I will hunt,” Kratos compromises. He cannot stay here, in this house. Not when he has a child to feed and a wife to please. Not when his wife cuts him deep with nasty looks veiled behind sweet buoying words.
She wishes to argue, he can tell. Kratos grabs a hatchet and one of the warmer furs they had (but still leaving the warmest) and leaves before Faye remembers how light her boy is.
As he leaves, he can hear his wife’s low and warm “Be safe, Kratos.”
He doesn’t know how long it’s been. In fact, he’s tried his hardest to lose track of where and when and why.
Kratos knows he is hungry. And he knows that in front of him is a rat feeding on a long-dead corpse. The rat is so plump Kratos can almost see it pop when it takes another bite of bruised flesh and chews slow. It seems to savor the taste; the flavor that, no doubt, is better than any scraps it’s had the fortune of ingesting.
It isn’t the first, and far from the last, time Kratos has seen flesh being gorged on. It also wouldn't be the first time he’d had the urge himself. Just seeing the rat have the privilege of such big bites has the god squeezing his fists and breathing heavier.
The noise is hard to miss, though the rat does not scurry back to its home. No, it cannot even risk it. It continues to eat, albeit faster; almost frantically so, as Kratos gets closer, like it knows this is the last time it’ll be granted such a delicacy. Soon, it is under his boot. It doesn’t squeak as it finally pops. Kratos briefly wonders if it had wanted to stop, but couldn’t find the strength. Had Kratos shown the rodent mercy by ending its life?
When he lifts his foot, it’s to a stain so large, made of only rat innards and bits of browned flesh. Kratos moves on but the image imprints itself in his mind.
As Kratos roams the ruins that make up the Wild Woods, he does not find any animals worth eating. Not even those unworthy of being consumed.
He does not find anything except rotting corpses turned dark from the chill. And draugr, who’ve long blackened and been reduced to almost completely soulless beings.
Kratos does not know much of Midgard’s gods, but to feed his son something so impure it oozes black blood should be a sin worthy of a fate worse than death.
----------------
When overworked soldiers were finally given reprieve, they would gather round a small campfire. Not that the warmth was needed, the sandy shores were not known for being cold, they would gather to tell sweet tales or eat or sleep. Though, it was quite unusual to do anything but sit there.
If they told stories, they were distracted; if they slept, they could wake up as a lost soul. If they ate, the others would get nervous. They would start to count the heads present. But that was a dangerous game, especially during a war.
Some of the soldiers were innocent, the only thing filling their stomachs being stale bread. Unfortunately, not all were merciful.
It was common knowledge to not sleep next to a starving man.
When overworked soldiers were given reprieve, they would gather round a small campfire. They would gather to tell sweet tales or eat or sleep. They would sit tightly together to stop hungry claws from stripping their throats of meat, stopping them from screaming out as blunt nails stabbed and clawed into their still warm flesh.
------------------------------
Kratos is covered in it. From his hands to under his fingernails, from the edges of his lips to between his teeth. It was everywhere. It stained him. If his poor boy ever found him like this, he wished he could say it was a mistake. He was out of his mind with hunger, he had no choice!
But he did, he realizes as he melts a hole through the thin layer of ice frozen over a winding stream. He slams his fists against the ice. Lightly at first, the thin morsels not enough to reawaken his strength. Then, angry, he cracks the ice to make a hole big enough for his head.
And he submerges his mouth and nose and ears into the hypothermic water. He forces himself to stay, even when, no, especially when his lungs start to burn.
In the end, he pulls his body up and out of the water. He cannot afford to lose his life, not yet.
The god can’t help but shiver at the gusts of chilling wind, the soaked fur doing nothing but aid the gods in punishing him. He staggers to his feet and continues his trek, not accomplishing what he wanted with the stream.
The yearning will continue because of his mistake. Kratos’s stomach rolls as he looks back to the desimates corpse stinking of burnt flesh. How much would it take? To make it stop.
His stomach is still full. His mind is clear, yet his conscience cannot say the same. But, it is too late to worry about that. Kratos must put his guilt behind him if he wants to focus, if he wants to sate his wife. If he wants to catch his prey.
Kratos waits, patient, on the balls of his feet, crouched behind vegetation to hide his figure. The animal senses his gaze, nostrils flared and braying, its ears pinned back.
The god tenses his thighs, ready to give chase. The animal rears high and makes enough noise to garner his prey’s attention. His prey lays a heavy hand on the donkey’s neck, trying its best to soothe the animal. It whispers words of encouragement, distracting itself from the rustling undergrowth.
The animal steps back, bringing his prey to full attention. “Who is there?” it shouts. Kratos readies his hatchet.
“I have nothing! Spare me!” it yelps into the trees. Kratos does not, in the moment, recognize the difference between the desperate Spartan soldier he once was and Kratos of Midgard.
The donkey’s incessant noise rises in volume as fresh gore splatters near its front legs. Kratos rises to his feet and steps over the shrubbery. The animal pulls and pulls at the rope attaching it to Kratos’s prey. Thankfully, the limp fingers do not give. He does not yet have the energy to chase after such an animal.
Its meat shall be a gift. It will provide Faye and her son the strength they need to make an escape from their disappointment and hunger.
The animal quiets down, but will not let Kratos approach it. The god pays it no mind, his attention instead focused on the steadily growing pond of red soaking into the dirt he stands on. He tries to hold himself back. He tries to stay on his feet, not letting his knees burrow into the dirt as his weight becomes too much. Instead of rushing forward, digging his claws into the dampness, he takes slow and steady steps toward the man. He doesn’t mean to lower himself as fast and desperate as he does, but it happens anyway. Kratos will realize this later and shame will overcome his body and mind, but now, nothing has ever mattered less.
He drags his heavy body toward the still warm man. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. The tang in the air makes his stomach churn and his palms sweat. Kratos digs his fingers into the dirt to stop them from doing the inevitable.
It is inescapable, this hunger. Kratos thinks, somberly. He is reverting.
His stomach is full and his mind fog is gone. The trek back takes less time than it has in many moons. The god was no longer forced to take breaks from the extra weight of game, or his own insolence, mounted on his back. Now, the only weight comes from the meaty animal draped over his shoulder.
Faye will be pleased and the boy will be fed. He could not ask for more.
Ever since the flood, Faye has been acting strange– twitchy. Though, when it is mentioned, his sweet wife will do all she can to avoid it. ‘I’m tired, Kratos,’ she will say. ‘You’re still thinking of that?’ She’ll question with a curl of her lip. Kratos does not like to bother his wife, but this seems important.
She lays down the fabrics she was attempting, and failing, to mend. “You’re like a kit, Kratos. Hell, If a vixen heard your yapping, I'm sure she’d swoop in and rescue you from my depraved clutches!” Kratos ignores the jabs.
“Kratos,” Faye lays a light hand on his shoulder, “Are you alright? You’re- you look exhausted.” Kratos wants to lay a hand atop hers; he wants to savor the affection and burn the touch into his skin, but he cannot. He cannot touch her with his sullied hands.
He twists his body out of her hold. “I have brought meat. Enough to keep us fed,”
Faye pulls her hand away but keeps it suspended in the air. The shock is evident on her face. Kratos does not look into her eyes. He can practically hear Faye holding her words back. So she does not worry the boy, Kratos reasons to himself.
hello I’ve returned thusly to gush in your asks once more (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)╯♡
These past two weeks have been kicking my butt (college applications aaah) but reading the latest chapter of Lost In Paradise really brightened my day—made it a lot more durable hah!
I’m shaking in my boots knowing that we’re approaching the end of the story soon which makes me curious: are you going to leave an epilogue at the end for how the future is impacted by what has happened so far? :o
As always love your writing and it always gives me inspiration to write for my own JJK fic—although your update time + high word count combined with that is really impressive, how do you do that??? XD
Much kudos (╹◡╹)♡
Ah, hello again!
Applications are definitely a pain, but I hope you get into the college you're after! Super happy my fic could make your days just a little better after all that stress! It makes me so happy to know <3
I'm also shaking in my boots! It feels like I just started the fic but it's getting to be so big! A proud fic parent!
I do have ideas for an epilogue, but I also hope most plot holes will be filled and answered by the time we get there!
But, most importantly, I'm in no way ready to let them go yet!
I've got loads of other ideas I want to write for their little family, so I'm definitely planning on making another fic with all the little scenes, fluff, angst, domesticity and other ideas that don't quite fit with the plot, but I love nonetheless! (Also open to requests people want to see, because I love bringing people's ideas to life!!)
And, I'm still working on that Christmas oneshot of SatoSugu visiting Suguru's family over the holidays! Still seems like the best way to introduce and write a bunch of the oc family members since I know a lot of folks don't typically like ocs (especially in the sense of major characters), so I'll give people the chance to choose to read it!
I'm so very glad you and so many other people like my work! I've always loved writing, but I've definitely gotten a lot better over the years! It's just so much fun giving people things they don't get from the OG content (like characters being alive -_-). I like to think of fandoms like a hivemind; what I want to see, a lot of other people want to see too! It's very easy to be self-indulgent! The only secret I have is a bad case of hyper-fixation, a love for a good long chapter to cozy up with and an adoration for SatoSugu! I love them <3
Thanks again for the support, and I appreciate all your asks! They've been a highlight of posting the chapters, so thank you!
don't worry, doll, i'm waiting for the day i play with you too~ however, i must profess that i'm not the best at Minecraft. the few times i try a survival world i always end up switching to creative or having cheats on. my favourite thing to do in minecraft is really just to use an elytra and fireworks and fly around looking for cool biomes. i've never been quite the builder- unlike you, i trust.
i'm sorry to hear your base isn't going well- i hope you're able to salvage it into something you like more and then show it to me~ but i'd be proud of my doll either way.
i do apologise for not responding earlier, but i can assure you that i was watching you. do you ever get the feeling where you want to respond to something but you just keep putting it off but then it becomes too late and you feel that if you respond now you'll feel like an asshole for making the other party wait? that does happen to me a lot. but regardless, i do sincerely hope that your mouth is feeling better now a few days after your dental appointment.
how are you today?
-👤
HI!! HELLO!!!! It’s totally okay if you’re not the best at minecraft, it’s just a game and you’re meant to have fun with it!! If playing with cheats or creative is how you enjoy it, then why not play with those things? I also play on creative or use cheats from time to time, I always play with keep inventory. (๑>؂•̀๑)
There are super cool biomes in minecraft, the world generation update really changed so much. The big mountains are always so amazing to see, I’d say my favorite biome is probably the taiga. The new-ish cherry blossom and mangrove biomes are super pretty too though… love the stuff they brought to the game. I do enjoy building, I should make us a super cute house!! When we play, I will slay the dragon get you that elytra ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
I appreciate your support!! I’ll try my best to salvage the base… no guarantees though. I totally messed up the outline and now it looks all wonky. </3
No need to apologize, you haven’t done anything wrong!!! I’m just glad to know that you’re watching. I do get and understand that feeling, that doesn’t make you an asshole. Do things when you can, I’m sure the other party would rather wait for a well thought out response than a rushed one! Never too late either to say something ♡⸜(˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
My mouth is a-okay now!! All better, yippee!! Thank you for the kind wishes. As for how I’ve been today, I’ve been good. A lil bit busy though… which is why it took so long to get to your ask, I’m so so so sorry!!! I went grocery shopping today which is what I do every weekend but I still enjoy it. I also made plans for next weekend to go out to lunch with family so that’s exciting! Once I got home from grocery shopping, I decided to play Fortnite for a lil bit… I’m not very good at it though. I haven’t played since 2018… all the new stuff is confusing. My friend asked me to play and so I decided to redownload it, I’m super happy I joined in time to get the MHA skins!! I got the Class 1-A and LOV bundle today. Didn’t play for very long though as family came over and I hung out with them, I watched some gravity falls with them since we started talking about the book of bill and they’ve never seen gravity falls before!!
I hope that you’ve been well and I really do appreciate any asks that you send, if it takes you a lil bit to send a reply then that’s totally okay. Better late than never!! If you have anything you’d like to tell me about yourself, your interests, or how you’ve been lately, then please do send me another ask. You don’t have to, of course, but I figured I’d offer. I’m here to listen and you have my full attention for whatever you have 2 say to me!! Also… if you have discord and would like to play minecraft sometime soon, feel free to DM me or send an ask with your tag if you’re uncomfy with messaging me. I won’t post the ask if you go that route but don’t feel pressured to send anything either, I’m just putting the offer out there since we’ve been talking about playing ^^
While the big sister of the family might be strict when it comes to keeping her phone by the dinner table, Guinaifen took the opportunity of a hectic dinner accident to pull it out to send a few pictures of the feast on the table. A wide array of various dishes could be seen, arms and hands stretched over the entire table as each sibling would fend for themselves. Her own? Striking a small peace pose in front of some of the buns she was about to devour (some she'd have to fight over brother over).
[i made the ugly one to the left ... i can't roll them properly (*/ω\*) would you eat my ugly bugs? ? (●'◡'●) *buns , omgg dont quote me on that]
What's not seen on the other side of the text messages is how one hand occupies itself on the screen soon to be chased, the other smacking the hand of an older brother who is attempting to steal the buns she helped making. It wasn't that she was completely useless in the kitchen, she just didn't... have it in her to take her time with things like that, rolling and kneading. It was too slow ! She liked to sear and spice things ! Make spicy sauces and watch her brothers cry ! ... Though, the latter part might not be related to food, merely revenge and payback.
Quick on her hand, she'd hook onto one of the strangely shaped buns, switching the camera over to the front. Biting into it, she'd snap a quick picture of herself, sending it to Caelus just as quickly.
Displayed would be her, eagerly biting into the bun, eyes joyous from the concept of finally being able to dig in ( ... thankfully Caelus couldn't hear the scolding from across the table, her sister ordering her to put the darn phone away ).
[they don't taste bat at all !! they just look a little weird !! BAD, i meant BAD!! i can't type lololol blame my evil sisterrrrrr (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ i want to show you a new dance routine after dinner !! i'm sending you vids !!! the dragon is cominggg !!!]
A final pic is sent, a more surprised Guinaifen as she turns to take a picture of the table at the table, once more striking a pose (bun still in mouth, she has no manners at home). Pictured are the siblings mid-conversation as well as a sister looking very miffed...
Light years away, across beautiful celestial sightings woven with vast and proud planets, that very signal about a universe holding this wholesome meal would be received within the crux of a moment filled with excitable strife. As the scenery sweeps from the clouded atmosphere down to the ground below, once more did the Pathstriders find themselves in a natural showdown with an encroaching essence of the Fragmentum. A focused gaze, one filled with bubbly mirth, and an all too sharp but prepared stance unveiled the golden three of the Astral Express in action.
May the Remembrance carve this moment with frosty vigilance, just as the Hunt decisively punctures with it's fang made spear, and for the ever turbulent Destruction thriving in the loss of life to fuel his very own. Explosions ripped across the surrounding area sectioned off by realms of Fragmented statis, giving them full clearance to go as wild as they please.
"HELLLL YEAHHHHHHH!!" Caelus's voice would ignite with an infectious vigor, that untamed Fighting Spirit flourishing a lethal aura as he charged up the arm of an icy behemoth, vaulting forth to deliver a lethal, neck snapping kick in tune with a back flip, the focused force made it a live boulder launching into the air. A content smile situated on his face, only for his attention to get immediately caught as a looming, threatening shadow began to rise, covering the skyline with its magnanimity.
Except, that's not what he paid attention to at all. For upon these grounds did a certain ringtone was plucked at that time, catching Dan Heng's and March's immediate attention. A tug of amused disbelief rising from the latter, as one quick glare towards her immediately compelled her to be responsible.
"Caelus! I SWEAR you better--"
"Sorry, hold on! Once in a lifetime call here!" Was his immediately call out upon landing.
That phone found itself open, seamlessly set off the lock screen as the familiar view of (*/ω\*) (God she picked the cutest emojis.) reflected upon the screen. The tremor crafting roar of the distorted Void Trampler going entirely ignored as those excitable golden eyes focused on the screen.
As a quick sprint meshed with sharp instincts made him jolt past a volley of fireballs, miraculously holding his balance while working on a return text at the same time, the view on screen only charged the energy within his heart. The sight of those buns and Guinaifen's star igniting smile made him nearly want to curl up on the ground in a fit of pure emotion. Seeing his lady make the most of this peaceful day while those curious questions drew forth made it impossible not to responsd.
Text: UGLLL MY LEFT FOOT
Text: I LOVE BUGS GIVE ALL TO ME.
Caelus wasn't sure why she'd compare her culinary effort to bugs (the correction text edged in late), but who was he to say anything?
With the momentary pause, a call for action proudly taken as swift thinking allowed him to duck to dodge a steel melting fireball. Immediately jolting off the ground like a spring unleashed, within his opposing hand would his sacred lance of Belobog come forth, skewering a total of three foes in one as dark, data like viscera spilled from those foes. As a wolfish grin dawned upon those lips, that vibrant power of the path only glimmering with his potential, his sights were immediately poised upon the Void beast as a volley of airs sniped those pesky airborne elements.
Just as he prepared to launch, frothing flame lapping hungrily from the exhaust ends of the lance, once again did that familiar text jingle go and snipe his attention. With an ungodly measure of tonal whiplash does he focus on the phone again, that touch screen note from Guinaifen immediately being pressed as it pops back up. This time, more pictures of that lively family unveiled as she makes out like a victorious pirate.
Heavens above, help his heart because it was going to melt. This is the sun, an adventurous heart like his eagerly awaits each new day.
Tumblr media
Once again he's irresponsibly texting while calamity itself began draw antimatter and infuse it within those hooves, wholly prepared to atomize him on the spot. Dan Heng in an abrupt change of character, internally curses before yelling out towards him.
"AT YOUR SIX CAELUS! You'll..!" When it looks like it's too late-
The game changer arrives. For within that moment, once more, a pristine picture of that shimmering Firekiss fleeing from the table had charged the emotional values into overdrive. Not to mention.. The idea of wanting to let her graceful frame bless him by breathing her ideas to life? A dance no less?
ENERGY MAX.
PRESERVATION!
Qlipoth's divine realm of Imaginary would be instinctively grasped and harnessed, swaths of miraculous, foundational might roaring with the surrounding flames as an Amber blessed forced field surrounded his body, allowing for a single hand to draw upward, causing March's and Dan Heng's mouths to drop as incoming attack was caught by the hand once wielding the lance. Irregardless if the ground split akin to an earthquake's rage, or if the volley of pure destructive might sung to the heavens in a vicious beam. Any risk of damage found itself unable to breach this height of resolve.
Caleus was going to make sure she got those replies at the utmost haste. Within this moment of astute and empowered clarity, typing up the following messages somehow felt slow
Text: If they got your golden ideas of spice. BELIEVEEEEE ME when I say you should whip me up some sometime!
Text: Also I see you're doing a big showdown yourself. Show the fam what my lady can do!
Text: And me too! I'm lookin' forward to what you're cooking up as the big routine!
Tumblr media
....
Whoops. That picture was not meant to be sent. In the midst of that explosion, he looks as if sun in this distant world just left him looking like a shadow!
