You know what, to start the year off, Imma make this lil appreciation post.

Now it's only been like, less than a year since I joined Tumblr about, I've been writing and drawing for years before this point, but the community here, especially the CoD community which I am mainly apart of just made me feel amazing. Everyone I've met here are some of the nicest people.

I have gotten my old hobbies back, giving me reason to write and draw again which have majorly helped with my own mental health, and now I just wanted to give the amazing people a shout out to start the year off, to hopefully make peoples days, and to just let them know that I appreciate yall!

You inspired me to write my first ever fic on here, actually, where I made my first CoD oc ship with Soap, your art and what you do honestly helped me feel comfortable making something like that for myself, cause some of the toxic people on Tik Tok made me uneasy and unsure about that lol- And now, I finally have an OC I'm working in depth on, and you're my biggest reason to thank for that.

**context. i go to an all girls school and theres a lot of people so its not like everyone knows everyone, even in my year(theres approx. 174 in my year alone, and theres 6 year groups at my school cos high school is 7-12 where i live) but some people know me ig cos i know a few girl who are more notable, im in the top class and i recdntly started sitting with a group that the popular girls call furries.

(theyre a pretty big group and popular girls hate them cos one or two of them are trans - ftm, ftnb etc, no mtf cos my lovely/s catholic school wouldnt let trans girls in- several of them are gay, a few of them are emo, most of them are poc's and a few of them dont have english as their first language. overall they are seen as the "weird kids" in my year)

so this rumour apparently is going around that i like a girl in my class(i absolutely do but if you havent noticed my school is hella hoomophobic and i could very well get beat) which js isnt ideal and is gonna lead to a lot of issues, especially if a lot of people start believing it so if you guys have any advice pls lmk. and its not like i can js get a fake bf and show him off cos its a GIRLS SCHOOL. if i reconnect with a friend from primary school tho we could pretend to be dating and like make a post on social media. but then kids at his school would find out and hed either have to tell them its fake(which would eventually find its way back to my school, and when i say eventually i mean immediately) or he couldnt get a girlfriend so that probs wouldnt work.

& the fifth season had me all over a roller coaster the whole damn time- kept feeling like i was tryna walk down this hallway illusion in shot in the dark- thinking i'm boutta reach the damn door and suddenly the fckin thing looks far away as hell

thank gob all that shit did turn out to be an illusion. cause i was feelin as scared as this lil kitty - such fear, gonna cry -

but never had to cry. except maybe tears of joy- and maybe a few tears so stoked that it even did happen- but also a lil more of em tho, cause not till like the last 10 mins of the whole series.

regardless tho - like, 20 seconds of the show that made the entire thing 10000x dumb stupid awesome- so worth it. it was all great, but got that instant infinite enhancement to all great gay. win.

ive already gone on about his sacrifice and whatnot.. ok . ok. what to talk about. im gonna repeat hella stuff prob.

jack nyras .. mid-late 20s... human sacrificed to a demonic deity. . cute guy overall.

as i mentioned, similar to the proxies, he has a rando cabin in the woods. slenderman actually sees him as a good utility, so while he's not a proxy, he's kept around and allowed freely in the forest without any uhh... chaperone, i guess.

his cabin is even smaller, 1 bedroom 1 bathroom, small kitchenette, small living room, etc. there's a bit of an underground bunker, sort of like a tornado bunker. he keeps 2 freezers down there. u can imagine whats in them.

the main sort of ummm... like, driving issue and character 'arc' for jack is his guilt and battles w his own humanity. he was technically possessed by a demon/deity for a year straight, and while the demon is now 'resting', he still committed the atrocities he did, and he still relies on humans. for a while after he regains consciousness, he's really skinny bc its really hard on him emotionally to eat. eventually he just gets sort of numb to it (with the help of the other creeps.. not intentional help moreso 'dont be a pussy do what u gotta do man') . jeff is especially the one telling him to 'man up and do it' so he lives. toby and ben are more understanding of why its so hard for jack.

again jacks the eldest of many siblings. i'm thinking perhaps it goes.. jack>daughter>daughter>son>son>daughter. 3 sisters, 2 brothers. he was driving and working by time he was 16, his parents had too much pride to let him help with bills but he was getting groceries and cooking a lot of food for the house.

family meals were kind of a thing in the nyras household. jack was a good cook, lots of traditional meals, etc. he's been cooking dinner for his siblings since he was like 11. his dad always thought it was odd that jack took that on, esp since he had a sister a few years younger than him, but he legit just liked it.

there was a good bit of parental pressure to be a doctor, but if that weren't the case, he'd love to go into culinary. you know. before he had to cook human meat.

he can digest raw meat, and he has a theory that he goes longer between meals if he eats raw meat, BUT he often still cooks it and tries to make it just. more normal for him.

also he can and does still eat normal food, but it lost a ton of its taste for him. he relies still on human meat, but he can go like a 1-2 weeks between meals before he starts getting violent and dealing with severe pain. sort of like tokyo ghoul style ?

mmm.. he still has a missing persons case file open. his mother still tries to get the police to keep looking, and his brothers have even tried doing crazy shit like going into creepy parts of the city alone to figure shit out, but his sisters and dad eventually gave up and assumed he was dead. his mom still believes he's alive fully. none of them know what really happened to him

he works as human remains disposal for some rando guys that ben helped him find off the dark web. thats how he pays for the cabin, but the cabin is under brian's name since...... well. um. lol. jacks missing and presumed dead and he sure as hell isnt human enough to have a house.

For those of you who don't know what FL Studio is, it's a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) where you can make music or covers! In my case, I'm gonna use it for covers hehe

So here's the plan:

I'm gonna take 3-4 song requests from you guys (because I'm indecisive lolol)

I make karaoke tracks of those songs for myself

Wait until I can upgrade my FL Studios from the free trial

Wait some more so I can get my mic and audio interface (something that converts sound waves from mics to computers so it can process the sound waves) I'm prob gonna get this for Christmas btw so the process is gonna go into 2025 FOR SURE

Im a minor that lives in a super tight night, close minded community. Super religious, super homophobic transphobic ect. Seeing as im a teenage girl whose questioning their gender and is definitely attracted to women thats kinda problematic lols. Honestly idek how to explain the situation without a bunch of details, but basically, theres a fifty-fifty chance of me being sent to conversion therapy or just cut off from any internet access (and i mean ANY. i have a flip phone for fucks sake.)if my fam finds out im queer, i have no support system outside of some internet friends who know nothing about my situation, and within the next few years(so like once i turn 20ish, thats in like 4 years but whatever) my family is going to expect me to get married to a man and start popping out babies asap. Btw thats whats expected of me in this community, marriage under the age of 25, have like as many kids as physically possible and god forbid higher education. And im not okay with that . Ffs i want to go to college, major in fine arts, meet a person i like and fall desperately in love or maybe not just have a bunch of close platonic relationships i want cats and a dog and a cute studio in a big city where i can dye my hair whatever color i want aand get an obsene amount of piercings, i want to wear pants!! I just want to live. Without expectations or limits or people who love me hating everything they dont know about me. Is that truly so much to ask for?

And im incredibly dramatic cuz i literally have the dream life. My family loves me, my parents are upper middle class, theyve never hurt me before(besides for all the anti everything rants haha) i literally have a full sized bed, which for some reason i see as the peak of being spoiled idk why. I go to school, not even public, a private religious school that prob costs thousands of dollars, i have friends(who are all part of this community btw and id bet my entire savings that most of them think gay is only a word that ppl use to mean happy lol) close ones even!! I have adorable neices and nephews(my 3 sisters all were married by the age of 20, so i have 11 niecesand nephews while my oldest sister is 31) im living the dream life. But i hate it and i have no way out. No hope of college to get on my feet and find someway out, no people that'll help me fucking run away or some bullshit like that, hell ive considered it and then felt like shit, cuz what am i even running from? Im probably attracted to men it wont kill me to marry one. And i like kids, i wouldnt mind having any either. But.... i dont want to be trapped anymore. Cuz ill be honest thats what i am.if some one asked me to run away with them rn i would, no hesitation.

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Most likely Darkness Into Light. It's never been released but it's a multi-chapter Kylo x reader fic where reader is also an apprentice of Snoke's and Rey tempting Kylo back to the light causes all these problems. I've had the story planned out and semi-written for years now. I love my ideas for it but I don't think I'll ever have the time or energy to finish it/put it out there to the world.

16. What are your writing strengths? I feel like I'm mostly known for my smut writing abilities because I not only write smutty fics but also write smutty audios. Most of my followers call me "smut goblin" lol But I have been told that I'm good at writing about powerful emotions connected with SA. And that I'm good at the characterization of various characters.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I'm too hard on myself and I think I suck. I also think I'm awful at writing descriptors. Like describing what clothing looks like or a place or things like that.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I've done it a little bit in A Place To Escape. I wanted Evangeline to have a native language that she used once or twice that Kylo wouldn't understand. But I ended up just using Italian words because.....reasons lol

19. First fandom you wrote for? Oh god....I'm not even sure now because I've been writing for so long. But when it comes to my Ao3 it would be Once Upon A Time (Rumbelle for life!)

20. Favourite fic you've ever written? Gonna have to say A Place To Escape because I put my heart and soul into that fic. And it's also the first ever multi-chapter thing I EVER finished.

Hantengu and his clones in Encanto hcs

spoilers for Encanto and Demon Slayer season 3 for those who hasnt watched it

So hear me out, (said that like two times idk)

AGE AND GIFT

Hantengu will still be 87 (it was said he was described to look 87 years old)

Sekido (20), Karaku (19), Aizetsu (18), Urogi (17), Zohakuten (12), and Urami (50) all live near the Madrigal's house and got the same condition as Alma Madrigal did with the candle, except this time it was more like they got some of the magic into themselves (with Hantengu being 60 that time ig, Urami prob 30, Sekido was prob 10, Karaku-9, Aizetsu-8, Urogi-7, and Zohakuten being 2)

So Hantengu isn't much special, I don't think he'd have any gift, but I think like living long until he's ready is like his gift, so immortality. Urami is like changing his size, and that if he becomes big he's much stronger, but if he's small, he's slightly weaker.

Sekido's gift is summoning lightning/thunder with his staff (something he made himself).

Karaku's gift is.. generating large amounts of wind with his maple-shaped leaf, so like Wind Manipulation?

Aizetsu hasn't really shown much but spear fighting, and he does have a BDA of just throwing a lot of spears, so I guess spear creation?

Urogi is so obvious, he's gonna have a harpy gift, all harpy traits, abilities, through and through. Also maybe adding a sonic scream <3 (he is so cute omg)

Zohakuten's gonna be a tough one, but he's also an easy one. Since he can make dragons made of wood, and hid Hantengu's small form into a wood ball, his gift is def Wood Manipulation/Creation.

So,

Hantengu = Immortality, now 87

Urami = Size Change, now 50

Sekido = Thunder/Lightning Manipulation, now 20

Karaku = Wind Manipulation, now 19

Aizetsu = Spear Creation/Manipulation (i might add him having powers kinda like Blue Diamond's sad aura thing), now 18

Urogi = Harpy (+ sonic scream), now 17

So maybe the villagers are like "omg did u hear theres like weird stuff happening over there in the woods?" and the rumor reaches to the Madrigals and are like "huuuuuuuuuuuh?" and decide to check it out.

By the way Hollywood is i would just b content with Kaia being in her late 20s n Austin in his late 30s bt 20 (wen they met) is just so.. young. I actually enjoy Kaias book club n she said in the last one that was told a lot that she was very "mature" n a "old soul" when she was young n i definetly get that vibe from her, i feel like she thinks shes more mature bt by her interviews she sounds like her age to me tbh (nt a bad thing though shes still seems more stable than a lot of other nepo baby models).

I did think her n JE were going to last longer, they give off the same kinda vibe imo. I've always liked the fact that Kaia had her book club, and it's smthg she's done for years. She's a VERY avid reader, so I'm not even surprised that Austin was attracted to her, coz he loves to read also! 😊 Like, I can totally understand why they clicked, cuz they actually have quite a bit in common.

While I do think that Kaia has been forced to grow up VERY quickly in the modeling world, and probably isn't a "regular person's" 21 year old, she's STILL very young (imo), and pretty naïve and out of touch.... You can tell by her interviews. The funny thing is, she doesn't even realize it yet, which is why it's so ironic.

I'm not sure of the context of what she meant by "making art", so I won't comment on that, but part of me almost feels like she's just repeating buzz words lol. At least with JE, I feel like that's who he truly is, and what he truly wants. Although they sometimes looked miserable together lol, I actually think they were better matched? They were closer in age, and seemed to have similar backgrounds.

ALL of us were more naïve at that age though, so it's not a slight towards her, it's just a reminder that she doesn't have much life experience yet. 🤷🏾‍♀️ According to Psychologists, your brain isn't even FULLY developed until your mid-late 20s!

JE grew up pretty privileged, and so did Kaia. When you've been raised around wealth your entire life like Kaia has, it's hard to know how to relate to "common folk".

First off, I'll just say, I think Austin is actually a very nice guy, and definitely seems way more humble and in touch with reality due to his background.

But boy does he have a bad woman picker lol 😂 Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the women he's been with have been "bad women" at all (I actually didn't mind Vanessa back when they were dating pre-covid 🥴), I just think that his personality doesn't always align with who he's dating. So his choices are sometimes like, "seriously?" to me lol. Almost like, he doesn't realize that he could do better. 👀

Tbh, I've often wondered if maybe he got with Kaia because after the lengthy Vanessa rlshp and breakup, maybe he just wanted smthg more low-key, easy maintenance, a pretty girl on your arm for movie premieres and press tours so you're not asked about your ex all the time 🙄, and just someone who can be private, and not rustle feathers too much, or be overly obnoxious on social media. 👀

I could be dead wrong, but I kinda get the impression that he's more so focused on his career right now. Yes, he's been in the business for almost 20 years, but he's JUST now getting his big break, so he's a bit behind than some others who got their big breaks in their early 20s or younger. He could def date an older woman again in the future, but I don't think at this moment in his life that he's really looking for an older woman who might be wanting or pressuring marriage right now.... hence, KAIA. 👀 🤷🏾‍♀️

i'm just gonna post these bc it's driving me crazy seeing ppl call arven 14 when he says he's about to graduate or acting like there's a 5 year gap b/w him and nemona (???) and i need to put them somewhere

protag/juliana/florian: approx u.s. high school freshman age, so i think 14-15. arven calls them little buddy and then also refers to himself as their older brother in jp so i think they're definitely the youngest of the group, and treated as such (also the shortest. lol. tiny ass)

penny: approx u.s. high school sophomore age, so 15-16. she's in the same grade as the protagonist as stated at the beginning, but in jp it implied she's doing over a year + she took a gap year in galar, so it just makes sense she'd be a year older than them

nemona: now her, could be anywhere from 16-18, i think, personally i see her as being in high school junior year, so 16-17, but i don't think she's any younger than arven than 2 years at the most (given the fact he mostly treats her like an equal, while treating mc as like a kid), so i adjust her age accordingly. yes she's in the same class as the protag, however these classes are interspersed with obviously kids of all ages, and it doesn't say she's ever in your grade also she's student council president and highly involved in extracurricular activities (and already received a starter from clavell + did the gym circuit apparently the year before) so she has to be somewhat established at this school

arven: anywhere from 17-19. i believe he's senior age given the fact he states he should be graduating soon if not for the fact he's missing a lot of credits. which, speaking of which, i believe it's highly likely that he also flunked a year like penny, so it's likely he's probably more towards 18-19, having missed a year of school (and with what clavell said. he's probably gonna miss another! this bitch is not graduating until he is 20. rip.)

and onto the star bosses, according to indigo disk they haven't flunked a year (yet, APPARENTLY) so:

giacomo: i believe he is a year younger than nemona so anywhere from 15-17

ortega: real gifted child ass energy who's had everything handed to him on a silver platter, BUT he says he's a second year (hilarious) so i guess he's 16. short ass LMAOOOO

eri: the oldest of the star crew based on how she talks to them all in a sort of Mom Voice, she's probably arven's age if not slightly younger, but about the same age as arven, probs 18

mela: i think anywhere from high school sophomore to junior so 15-17

atticus: same as mela and giacomo, anywhere from 15-17

onto blueberry now:

kieran: according to french translation he's 14, so yeah he's 14-15 around the same age as the protagonist

carmine: given her dialogue about "teenage angst" irt kieran and implying multiple times she's past puberty + acts like she isn't a teenager, i assume she's probably 20 or like at minimum 18+

drayton: like 20, he's a super super senior (kind of. flunked second year like 3 times? they never mention any years beyond second so i have no idea how this school system works)

lacey: second-year, so...? i assume 17 probably? 16?

crispin: i assume a bit younger based on his appearance and how he acts, probably 16

amarys: given that it seems most of them are upperclassmen, i'd wager she's also 17 or maybe 18/around the same age as lacey
