Well there are multiple reasons he’s a background character for 3 of the 4 (or us 8 1/2 fans sat 2 of the 3 because we hate season 4) seasons of the show which is not very well know though the people who like it are very active (if you check out the rp blogs of which I have like 20 last I checked) as I said 8 and a half fans he’s also kinda insane as he (spoiler alerts so don’t read past this if you don’t wanna get spoiled) became a master criminal and sabotaged (putting many others and himself in life threatening danger) his way onto the first manned mission to mars so that he could steal a door shaped rock that he believed would open to only him to a door filled utopia which he wanted to bring everyone to he also believes to know everything about everyone (proven to be wrong as he could not predict how Harl would act though everyone else in the city he actually could) he’s very particular about how to open doors and the proper way to do it annoying the doorman (Cortez) who works at the building next to the one he works at by correcting the way he opens doors constantly he also an informant for his stepfather’s criminal enterprise all this is in season one though because he gets degraded to background character with occasional speaking line :(

Adam Schürk:

He is from Tatort, one of the most popular German TV shows, which airs every Sunday to tens of millions of viewers. Yet most people who watch the show are older people who do their laundry or fall asleep to it in the background, and only a tiny amount of people watching it are actually invested. Most casual viewers probably couldn't remember some of the characters names because he and his team only get a single episode every year. It's the most boomer show of all time and every year, when it trends on tumblr, uninitiated Germans who see it are confused why people are invested in Tatort. I love my sad gay German cops but man is it hard to explain to anyone.
