I shared this on the dead on main server, but just for all of your brain itches also:
So there's Danny-suddenly a halfa- by definition both alive and dead. He is two things that are diametrically opposed. They cannot exist at the same time, so they don't.
Every time Danny goes ghost, he dies again. Each time the rings of light engulf him he has a moment again of being electrocuted to death. Phandom greatly enjoys giving Danny Lichtenberg scars, but electric shock has other common symptoms such as hearing loss, tremors, and seizures...
...all things Danny faces every time he comes back to life.
It takes them awhile to put it all together- that transforming and fighting makes it all worse- and by then Danny's been through rounds of medication for his seizures that do nothing and has a permanent level of hearing loss. (And Ancients does the hearing loss explain some of his troubles with school.)
Part of Danny is tempted, each and ever time, to stay a ghost where he doesn't feel the constant ache of pain and trembling muscles and muted world. Part of him is tempted to stay dead.
But he pulls through it. Things settle with the ghosts. Danny is able to hang up Phantom and being a hero and instead focusing on living. The seizures stop, the tremors and pain have good days and bad, Tucker helped him make some amazing hearing aides... he lives.
He gets an internship with the Wayne Foundation and their outreach helping children left permanently injured by the attacks in Gotham- inspired in part by Jason Todd-Wayne's own partial hearing loss from an explosion.
When they meet, neither of them quite know just how deeply the other person can understand what they've been through.

i spent a lot of time when leon was a puppy just counter conditioning him to loud noises and yelling because i live with kinda loud people and didn´t want him to be scared of things like thunder/fireworks
i did actually pull it off and now he thinks yelling and things like banging or clapping are "fun play sounds" and when people try to intimidate him out of being over excited they just get a himbo collie body slamming them

💗🏥 Shuake Week- Day 6 - Wound Tending 🏥💗
I've always really liked the idea of goro waking up after the engine room with a bullet wound in the chest. he miraculously survives, and akira has to take him in and tend to him, while hiding him from shido's men😳💦
(also yes, goro is wearing akira's pj pants😌💞)

How absolutely wild must it have been for Nightmare to have like, minimum-to-no contact with mortals for hundreds of years and then the first two he has any regular close interactions with are Killer and Dust.
Like he must have a book in his castle somewhere of all the observations he kept like he was studying a new species

i hope you're doing well, my dear lettie <3 for the six sentence prompt ask game, might i request silver getting sick at school and lilia dutifully cuts class to take care of him? 🥹
"Oh— oh, watch yourself, love—"
The hand on his arm is sure and steady, and it is the only thing that keeps Silver's knees from buckling away beneath him as if he were wobbling around with transfigured sea legs, jellified and weak.
It's a familiar touch, one that he would know even in the deepest of slumbers. He doesn't need to lift his heavy eyes to know who has seemingly materialized out of thin air to support him, and because Silver is, still among all things, a child, it takes no effort at all to slump his head to the side and rest his forehead against the waiting curve of his father's shoulder.
" . . . now, what am I to do with you?"
Silver was sick.
And not the average, runny-nose and scratchy cough kind, but the roiling shower steam nausea, feverish kind— the kind that felt as if little craft fairies with lead hammers had taken up residence in the hollows of his bones and the aching sinus pockets behind his eyes, and were banging incessantly on his raw nerves with vicious, unmitigated glee.
Morning classes had been an absolute misery of sensory havoc, his mind distracted and his glazed eyes slipping shut with even more forceful vengeance than usual. His pen had scrawled aimless lines across the blank notebook pages, and even Trein had spared him a pitying glance, not that Silver had realized it, for his flushed cheeks and obvious disorientation.
(Neither had he noticed Kalim's repeated concerned glances, nor the way that his friend kept tapping on his cell phone with a worried twist to his perpetually upturned lips.)
It was little wonder then that as the students streamed in eager droves out of their lecture halls for lunch, Silver chose instead to attempt a shuffling escape towards the Mirror Hall, towards Diasomnia and the promise of a timed catnap in the gloomy embrace of its dark, cool corridors before the rigor of his afternoon classes could begin.
He'd been rather foolish to believe he'd make it there unaided with how the stone floor beneath him started to wink closer, the sinking realization tugging at his stomach that he was beginning to plummet down to meet it without resistance, until a presence unannounced had swooped in by his side.
So focused now on attempting to wrangle his breakfast into submission before it inevitably made a second, less pleasant appearance upon his father's uniform, he hardly notices until too late that the ground has disappeared under his very feet with a swiftness that spares him the nauseous threat. Bleary eyes blink past the invisible weight pressing insistent fingers against them, and Silver manages to find a glimmer of incredulity among all of his slippery, pounding thoughts as he stares up at the fae cradling him in his arms as if he were all of five again— and smiling as pleased as punch, in the middle of the grand hallway no less.
". . . Father— !" he doesn't even think to correct himself as he croaks out the beloved title, utterly at a loss as to what the fae could possibly be thinking. "Father, please, put me down! Someone might see—"
"And see what?" His father's eyes sparkle down at him with mischievous delight, but it is not enough to mask the darker currents of worry that linger there, stealing the rest of the sputtering arguments from Silver's mind. "That I'm caring for my adorable junior classmate as a good vice housewarden should?"
His mouth opens and closes more uselessly than a fish as he stares without a rebuttal at the self-satisfied fae, unable to come up with a worthwhile protest in the sluggish cogs of his mind.
The rambunctious cacophony of their fellow classmates echoes from further down the hall, and Lilia's smile creases into something tender and private, an expression reserved for Silver and Silver alone as those clawed fingertips drift soothingly through his sweaty bangs. There's no magic that glitters from his touch, and yet Silver's eyes find themselves drooping instantly just the same, his head tucking forward to rest against his father's chest where that heartbeat reverberates like a lullaby in his ears.
"Come on, dear— let's get you back to bed."

Enough dancing around it.
I need a loverboy. One who is insane though. Plans out in excruciating detail all the firsts (firsts dates first kisses first oral fem receiving), loves to gift roses and champagne, says I love you every ten minutes and always means it sincerely and with his whole heart. Takes everything incredibly seriously, cherishes every moment with his lover, would literally kill someone for hurting his little puppy and probably already has.

To heck with it--FragMem fluff
aka Happy First Anniversary to Fragaria Memories!
Apologies if OOC, this is the gist that I got of their characteristics. I hope you guys enjoy regardless!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was looking to be another late night in the castle's library, but at least you had the quilt Romarriche gifted you to keep the increasing chills away, and small snacks and tea to keep your spirits up.
Actually, you never brought the snacks and tea: they were always there when you came into the library. It started almost a month ago and none of the librarians could tell you who left them there (or so they claimed). You had an idea who the culprit was regardless; you recognized the tea set and plates as the ones he reserved just for special guests. You didn't approach him about them, though, afraid that if you did, your fluttering heart would make it difficult for you to properly thank him.
Besides, you still needed to figure out what to gift him back in return for the quilt. You've considered an embroidery of a bouquet of roses, tea from another kingdom that you think he may enjoy, and a quilt of your own making, to name a few. They were good ideas, but now that he was providing refreshments, you thought the gift should be a little more refined--
You blink, refocusing on the form in front of you. You chide yourself for letting your mind wander back to gift ideas and him. You have forms to finish and a bed to fall into, now isn't the time!
With a huff, you reread the paragraph and adjust the quilt over your shoulders. Your fingers run over the stitching and feel the soft texture of the fabric. Even if it's been months already, you still appreciate the craftsmanship of the quilt and you are thankful for the comfort it brings.
You know what, perhaps you should make a quilt after all; you aren't as skilled as the older needle-workers, but you're pretty good at the craft. You just need to figure out what patterns he likes, maybe you can casually bring it up the next time you two chat. While you're at it, you should thank him for the refreshments. He's so thoughtful, and you really should have told him you appreciate them when they started appearing.
Despite your best efforts to focus on the paperwork, your sleepy mind further wanders to him and plans for the quilt.
It isn't long before you quietly doze off.
You're not sure how long you were asleep, but when you become conscious, you realize a few things:
One, you're being carried by someone.
Two, you're snuggling against this person, who is so warm and whose arms feel safe to be in.
Three, there's a faint perfume of roses, tea, and a certain sweet something that altogether is unique to one person.
Romarriche.
Romarriche is carrying you.
You try to keep calm and be still. If you are still dreaming, you don't want to wake up quite yet.
After a few seconds, he stops to open a door and the familiar scent of the scented candle you burned earlier greets your nose. He's brought you to your room.
You feel yourself being laid on your bed, legs hanging over the edge, and your shoes carefully taken off. He lifts you up and puts you down again so that you're lying completely on the mattress, and your heart flutters at how he does it so effortlessly. The blankets are pulled up to your chin and gentle hands tuck you in. All the while, Romarriche whispers to the supposedly sleeping you.
"I deeply admire you for your dedication to doing excellent work and wanting to help wherever you can. I just wish there was a way where you wouldn't have to push yourself to exhaustion."
You feel strands of your hair being brushed away from your face. His fingers lightly touch your cheek and linger there.
"I feel that every time we meet, the bags under your eyes get deeper, and I cannot help but be more worried. I do remember what you told me that night, but I also remember you nearly falling asleep into your lunch just last week and again three days ago."
He sighs. "I want you to know that your coworkers and I would be more than willing to share your burden. You wouldn't need to stay later than usual that way."
His perfume gradually becomes stronger. "I hope that somehow, my words can reach you in your dreams. I dearly care about you and wish for you better health."
Something soft touches your forehead; it doesn't get past being feather light. It's there for just a second, then it's gone along with his scent.
"No," you hear him whisper to himself, "I mustn't. It would be improper of me to assume they would feel. . ."
Hang on, that tone in his voice. It couldn't be longing, could it?
He sighs again, then says with a smile in his voice, "Have sweet dreams, dearest."
Once he leaves, you open your eyes and think about what just happened. You clench your hands and internally scream.
Romarriche cared about you this much?! Did he know that you appreciate him and that you really like him?!
A realization hits you that makes your face warm up.
That feather-light touch on your forehead. . .
"It would be improper of me to assume they would feel. . ."
". . . dearest. . ."
He was in the process of kissing your forehead and stopped because he didn't know if you felt the same towards him.
Romarriche liked you.
You smack a hand over your now burning hot face. Great Strawberry King, you really need to work on that quilt ASAP!
. . . And tell him that you like him back.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You look forward to harvesting the newest species of apples, so much so that you're sure the horses would roll their eyes if they could whenever you gush about it. You can't help it! You just love seeing how well the apples grew, and tasting one and thinking about the potential dishes you can make.
Stepping outside, you take in a deep breath of the fresh morning air and smile. The sun is just on the verge of peeking over the horizon and the autumn chill lightly bites your cheeks. You notice some farmers climbing into a wagon, likely coming back from the kitchen after delivering vegetables and apples for this morning's breakfast, and you wave to them. They wave back, then head on to their side of the field.
Your fellow harvesters won't arrive until a little later, so you decide to meander around.
You pass rows of various fruits and take a quick look at a patch of ripe pumpkins. Your lips immediately lift into a smile as you remember a certain Fragaria helping the farmers plant the seeds and attentively listening to their talks about pumpkins.
He was cute and had a very bright personality, was proud and had faith in the goodness of everyone he met. You two would have small chats at random times throughout the day, but nothing more beyond that, what with his knightly duties and your tending to the farm and the livestock keeping the two of you busy. You'd really like to get to know him better.
You look up every so often at the sky for incoming warm shades and you rub your hands together or lift the collar of your coat a little higher. You don't mind the autumn weather, but it does get a bit too chilly for your liking. It still doesn't stop you from getting up early and being the first to be ready to harvest.
You suddenly hear your name being called. Startled, you turn around.
Jogging down the dirt path, white and red uniform visible in the early gray morning, is Hallritt. He stops before you, panting, and his cheeks are pink from the autumn chill and the small excursion. "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting you, but I wanted to give you something."
He holds up a red knitted scarf and your eyes widen.
"It's just, I've noticed that you keep hunching into your coat and I get worried that you might catch a cold. So, I learned how to knit a scarf," Hallritt explains bashfully. "I'm sorry if it's a little crooked in some parts. I've never knitted before and practiced before making this, but. . . I hope you still like it."
You're silent as your mind registers his words; he slowly starts to become worried. But before he could say anything, you smile and say, "I haven't seen you a lot as usual and thought it was just my imagination. I appreciate this, Hallritt!"
Your fingers brush against his when you accept the scarf. In that brief moment, you feel a tiny spark that makes your heart skip a beat. You don't notice that Hallritt's eyes had widened a little, feeling the same tiny spark.
You wrap it around your neck and immediately laugh. Hallritt joins with his own. "I didn't realize the scarf would be this long," he says.
"No, it's perfect! Look, I can wrap my hands around the ends!" You proceed to demonstrate this.
"That's a relief!"
Somewhere beyond the rows, you hear horses fussing, and the sky starts to take on a pink tint. "I have to get going soon. Will I see you at the stables later?"
"Yeah! I have to apologize to Blossom for not visiting her for so long. I hope she can forgive me if I bring her treats."
"For someone like you, I'm sure she will."
"Wow, you really love that scarf," your friend observes.
"How could I not? It's so soft and warm!" you say, nuzzling against the yarn.
"You sure it's not just because the knight gave it to you himself?" they tease.
Your cheek warm up and you narrow your eyes at your friend. "No!"
After a beat of silence, you quietly say, "It was nice of him to make this for me, though. I've been racking my brain for the past hours settling on a gift."
You sit back against the barrier of the cart, staring at the clear sky. "I'd like to make him something with apples, but there's just so many things I could do!"
Your friend considers something. "Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen you try the apples we just harvested."
You blink and sit up, knowing your friend is a fellow baker. "Have you?"
They smile. "I think the taste will speak for itself."
Hallritt had been looking forward to chatting with you again, so he was a little disappointed when you weren't around as much as usual. Was this how you felt when he got preoccupied with knitting the scarf? He feels bad now.
"Hallritt!" To his pleasant surprise, it's you. The scarf is wrapped twice around your neck, and the ends flutter a little behind you as you jog towards him.
"Hey!" you greet, stopping before him. "I was hoping you'd be here. Here, I want to give you something."
You hold up a small casserole dish wrapped in cloth.
"Oh, you didn't have to!" he says.
You shake your head, insisting. "It's thanks for the scarf."
When he accepts it, he could feel the warmth of whatever you had made. "I made it with the newest species of apples. It took me a little bit to come up with the recipe, but I did it!" you explain proudly.
"You came up with the dish from scratch? Now I really can't wait to try! At the same time, it makes me relieved. I've been wondering where you've been for the past weeks."
"Sorry about that, Hallritt." You shrug and smile apologetically.
"There's no need!" A thought comes to him. "Why don't we go to the parlor and share this? I've. . . kind of missed talking with you."
Your cheeks heat up. "Honestly, me too. But you don't have to share, though! If anything, I'd like to hear what you think of them."
And so the two of you spent a cozy afternoon in the parlor, catching up and laughing, and unknowingly moving closer together.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You yelp again for what seemed like the umpteenth time and manage to catch yourself against a brick wall. You're usually good at handling icy paths, but you've never gone down this street before and it is ridiculously slippery. You wouldn't be surprised if this street has an associated notoriety.
"Are you all right?" Tuxam asks, just three paces in front of you. You are impressed and envious over how he hasn't slipped even once during the walk. You think his cane might be helping, but it doesn't take away your feeling.
"Yes, just almost slipped again is all," you say, shaking your head and steadying yourself.
". . . Here." You look up from the sidewalk. He's offering his arm to you. "H-hold on to my arm."
He clears his throat, embarrassed by the stutter, and the dust of pink on his cheek darkens. He's still avoiding eye contact as he says, "As a gentleman, it would be unforgivable if I continued to allow the risk of you falling and hurting yourself. It is already improper that I let you slip the past few times already. O-of course, you do not need to accept my help, if you aren't comfortable!"
Like any other citizen of this kingdom, you are aware of Tuxam's fixation of being a proper gentleman. While there are moments where you think he is going overboard, you think it is charming how he insists on holding open the door for the next person or pulling out a chair for you to sit in. Or maybe you just think the Fragaria himself is cute--ahem!
You shake your head and smile. "No, it's fine! I appreciate it."
He's stiff and a little awkward as you both loop arms, but as you two continue down the sidewalk, he relaxes--just a little bit. This is much closer than the two of you have ever been; the other time was when he readjusted your tie and had unknowingly stood very close. You wouldn't forget how embarrassed he got over invading your personal space, but you didn't mind. . . mostly because you yourself were preoccupied by your racing heart.
You spy the two of you in a reflective glass pane. You had a pleased but shy smile on your face while Tuxam had a straight but blushing face. Altogether, you two looked like a couple heading for their first outing.
Whoosh!
"Whoa!"
A gust of cold wind suddenly smacks into you two. Immediately, you duck and huddle closer against Tuxam, your free hand gripping his sleeve. Once it passes, you look to him.
"Sorry about that, I was--Tuxam, are you okay?"
His face is bright red and he seems to be on the verge of exploding. He shakes his head. "Yes, I'm all right. You don't need to trouble yourself over me. Are you all right?"
"Yes, just surprised is all. Oh, your hat's a little crooked. Here, let me fix it."
You unlink your arms and adjust the hat accordingly. You then notice his bow tie is crooked as well and begin to carefully fix it. All the while, Tuxam is quiet. Another wind comes, but it's significantly calmer and causes loose snow from building roofs to fall.
He can't stop staring at you. He thought of you as perfection when the two of you first met, and being able to properly see your face, he was well reminded of it. The backdrop of lightly falling snow makes the scene somehow more beautiful.
You eventually notice his staring and realize how close your faces are. Your cheeks heat up. "I'm sorry, am I standing too close?"
He blinks, cheeks heating up as well. "Ah, no! I was just. . ." He falters for a moment, then collects himself. "Thank you for fixing my appearance. It would have been improper if it continued to appear unruly."
You smile in response. "Of course, Tuxam. Shall we continue walking?"
He agrees. When the two of you link your arms again, he's a little less stiff than before.
A few paces down the sidewalk, he speaks up. "If you need to hold onto me with both hands, you may. Your safety and comfort are important, and it wouldn't do if I ignored those."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You remind him of the poems he read about the the spring and summer breezes. Warm and refreshing, and a singing voice that carries beautifully across the field or a room with an open window. Sometimes, the breeze that is you turns into a dizzying wind full of anxieties. He's more than happy to listen to whatever is on your mind, and for that, you're forever grateful.
You try to repay him for being so patient and willing to listen to your anxious thoughts, but he waves them off. You accompanying him on his traverses into the nearby fields is more than enough.
It's something the two of you do sometimes after all the work is done, if the sun is shining brightly and Puruth is in the mood to look for four leaf clovers. Sometimes you bring your lyre to get his opinion on a work in progress or to have something to fiddle with. There are moments where you even come up with a poem or random composition on the spot.
The latter scenario isn't that rare, not when he looks right at home in a sunny flower field. You'll often see Puruth standing in the middle of ankle-height grass, staring at the distance with a relaxed smile, while the sun casts its golden light on him and turns him into an enchanting prince.
You think Puruth has caught on that some of your sporadic poems and compositions are inspired by him. You also think he's aware that you're aware some of the poems he writes himself are inspired by you.
Neither of you seem to want to point it out, but if the glint in his eyes are anything to go by and if he understands the glint in yours, this arrangement is just fine. It's basically a fun little open secret between the two of you, one that you hope lasts for a long time.
The gentle rustle of leaves. The smell of dirt and a tinge of lavender in the passing breeze. You open your eyes to the sleeping face of Puruth just a small step away from you. He's facing you, and you wonder if he had fallen asleep while watching over you. It wouldn't be the first time.
In the hour before you fell asleep, the two of you climbed up a small hill and sat beneath one of the trees at its top. There, he read poems from a book he borrowed from the town's library and the two of you chatted about them. You vaguely remember a poem about dandelions and thinking how nice it was to listen to his voice and how comfortable the grass felt.
The book now sits between the two of you; a ladybug was making its way across the cover. Surely Puruth wouldn't mind if you looked through to see what other poems were there.
You sit up--and that's when you discover something that makes you chuckle.
Three-leaf clovers have been stuck through the buttonholes of your jacket and the loops of your shoelaces. Puruth must have collected the clovers and stuck them in while you were asleep.
You pick the one at the very top of your shirt and realize it's a four-leaf clover. You huff through your nose, smiling. Carefully, you tuck it in his hair--then stand up and head down the hill to look for a clover patch.
In just a few minutes, his hair is dotted with the little green flora. You didn't have Puruth's luck in finding four-leaf clovers, but at least he had the one he gave to you. You silently laugh at your handiwork and reward yourself with reading the book of poems, eagerly waiting for his reaction when he wakes up.
You hope afternoons like these last for a long time.

What’s the relationship like between Peppino and Fake Pep? I wonder what its like to be friends with a literal clone of yourself…
hoo boy, it's a very interesting thing indeed! (and something i'm WAY too enthusiastic about sharing my ideas about hehehe 👀💧) especially when the clone of yourself is completely different from you in morals, tastes, actions, interactions..... just about the only thing that's similar is looks.
that's not to say that Peppino and his Fake don't get along though! it's gotten... better since Fake Peppino first showed up at Peppino's Pizza and then refused to ever leave. at least Fake Peppino has no desire to kill Peppino any more, he's a fellow Peppino and that would just be rude! not to mention how he regrets trying to kill him before... but it's all fine now!!
Fake treats Peppino with a decent amount of respect, part of it just because he considers Peppino a friend now, and part of it being how badly Peppino kicked his ass for things in the past. there's still an awful lot of things Fake Peppino does that makes most normal people uncomfortable... Peppino included. making inhuman noises, hiding in cramped spots just to jump out and spook you, eating things that definitely aren't meant to be eaten... Fake's fairly comfortable in his new home, and while Peppino feels a lot better about him, there's still times that it makes him feel a bit... anxious.
Tumblr media
seeing something that once tried to kill you and still acts very off sometimes, acting as if you're a dear friend and snuggling up to you like a beloved family dog, that IS a little bit... uncomfortable, to say the least. but at least things could be worse... Fake could still be trying to kill Peppino like he was made to do.
there ARE a lot of things that Fake Peppino does though, in attempts to actually benefit Peppino. whether or not these are ACTUALLY good things is very debatable. clearing out any pest that make their way in is pretty nice at least, but then there's the more... questionable things that Fake does to try and help. for example, Fake doesn't tolerate any kind of rudeness towards Peppino or his restaurant. he still considers himself a Peppino in a sense, and sees the pizzeria as both Peppino's AND his own, so insulting either of those is the last thing you want to do.
Tumblr media
do NOT ever behave in an unruly manner, or say rude things about Peppino in his pizzeria. you never know who might be listening...
Tumblr media
... or that it might be the last mistake you ever make. be wary while making your way home after that... there might just be something that's tagged alongside you.
.... it IS a little worrying to Peppino that most rude customers never seem to show up again... but maybe they just stuck to their word and left? surely that's the explanation for it... Fake Peppino does look rather well-fed today though... but ah well... at least that's less angry customers to deal with?
but see, Fake Peppino DOES genuinely care for Peppino's well-being now! and Peppino, though still fairly wary, is at least thankful that he's not a threat to him. so while it's not exactly the most comfortable life, at least Fake doesn't cause Peppino any trouble... not that he knows much about.
but it WOULD help him feel a bit better, if Fake Peppino's instincts would stop acting up from time to time. there's only so many times that Fake's "kill and/or eat Peppino" brain instincts can kick in before it starts getting real uncomfortable. but at least he's not ACTUALLY trying to kill Peppino... it just tends to be that from time to time, Peppino might find himself getting licked or gently nibbled on. a wee bit unsettling when it's meant to be a clone of yourself doing that.... at least he's not really eating you??
Tumblr media
so... uncomfortable at times, but could be worse! Fake Peppino can be fairly handy to have on hand too, a nice helper for cleaning and keeping watch! just.... don't worry about where some of the ruder customers have been going... i'm sure they're just fine.

Gifted Drabble - NewAgeAU - Blood Contract
Hello! I got a gift! I am not obsessed with your AU of my AU at all :D
Okay so... I may have gone a bit overboard. As always. It is just a gift for my friend. It is theirs to do with whatever they want :D So if you @spotaus like stuff from it be free to see it as canon :D and use however you like <3
I tried not to go too far with world building or lore because, again, it is yours but i always sneak in little things :3 Hope you like it :D
*-----------------*
Nim looks up from her papers as she glances through the window of her carrage.
Ugh. It is always so slow.
Her powers and her magic hums in her. Burning hotter than the sun in the desert. Warming than a burning fire. So ready to do waht is needed. So ready for her to pick what she wants and how.
And this is still the weak version of it all.
She sighs as she leans back. She is getting older. Her weak body isn't able to handle the magic as well as she used to. Good thing that her heir is almost here.
Nim looks to the side and grabs one of her special magical orbs. She had a few made specially for this trip. She activates it with a touch and the orb shows her own personal healer.
The healer bows and waits after a respectful "My king."
Nim hums as she lounges back in her soft seat "How is my heir?"
The healer walks to the side and there is the one carrying her heir. The healer uses magic and speaks to her "Both of the twins are growing well and even. Neither of the souls seems to be progressing quicker than the other and both are almost fully grown. The chances of both twins being born healthy is getting near the 60% now!"
Nim feels herself smile as she purrs softly "Finally."Finally good news. It had taken a long time for her to finally have one of her many mates manage to carry her a heir. The risk of carrying twins rather large and most of the monsters dying before the twins had a chance to be born. taking her possible heir with them to be one with the stars.
One of her many mates looks up at the orb and looks at her "My liege! I am so excited to meet your children! Will you be back soon?" they look at her. hopeful and desperate. Nim knows there is full loyalty.
Nim just gives a smile "I will be back when I get back." This trip is very necessary.
After all. The one carrying the twins won't survive. The soullings will be too big for the carrying soul to handle or deliver safely. meaning the temporary mother will die soon after the twins birth. and Nim will take her rightful place as their mother.
But Nim is a very busy woman. Very busy and very powerful. She does not have the time to raise two children. One of which to the perfect sacrifice and the other as her perfect heir.
Which is why she is looking for the right person to take care of her heir.
She smiles as she remembers herself. the rush of power. the emotions running high. claiming what was rightfully hers and growing so much more powerful. Her first mate. There ready for her to finally claim as hers as they had always been.
Nim sighs wishfully. Such a shame they didn't live long. They had been perfect in every way. So handsome and kind. With her every step of the way. They had even managed to carry twins on the first try!
Only for them to die. Their soul burst when the soullings grew too large.
The soullings had survived.
She had killed them.
And she started over.
Attachments are a weakness waiting to be exploid.
But this time! This time! it will be perfect. her little heir will have the perfect little first mate. She will encourage her heir to have multiple mates. form a harem early on. the first one to start it off and keep track of it and the others to make possible heirs.
It will be perfect. Just like their kingdom.
The carriage stops and Nim leaves it. It is some poor useless town. Just useful to retrieve sacrifices from.
Or... to find someone who seemed promising. This better be worth her trip. the last four options had been lacking.
She walks through the town. Her guards behind her with her few items she picked for this. People see her and look away right away. they bow and do not make eye contact.
Good.
They are all beneath her.
She walks straight to the place she had found. She gets to a small shack of a place. seems like it is a small store for everyday needs. Most likely the only spot for this small town to get things.
She walks in.
There is a skeleton behind the counter who looks shocked before quickly bowing and muttering softly "My king. You honour us." another skeleton walks out of the back but quickly bows at the sight of her.
Fear in the air.
Nim holds up a hand "Rise." both skeletons rise as she looks around. the two adults. where is number three? "I am here for a very special quest. Everyone in the household is to come outside. This plac eis far beneath me." ugh. The very fact she had to step into this raggy run down mess of a store. selling cheap and second hand wares?
disgusting.
She leaves the store and walks out to the street. people are watching through the windows and a few remain by the edges of the road.
It takes only a moment before the first skeleton walks out. He stands before the store and kneels down on the ground and stays kneeled.
A few moments later the skeleton from behind the counter walks out. behind her walks a much smaller and younger skeleton. There he is.
She joins her husband and kneels as well. The younger skeleton moves to join his parents but Nim holds up a hand and snaps her finger.
The young skeleton freezes and stares at her for a moment before looking down adn mtutering "I... I... I will... kneel? sorry?" he keeps looking down adn shaking as fear hangs heavy around him. There is even more fear from the two skeletons already kneeling.
Nim walks over to the child and looks at him "How old are you?"
the child flinches but speaks "I am seven your highness..." and he stays silent.
Nim nods to herself. That is the right age after all! At least this time her sources were useful and correct. It is often a hit and miss if the sources turn out to be either of those.
Nim nods and looks at one of her guards "Bring me the seeing orb."
She ignores the fear around the skeletons. and how more fear joins their feelings from the people around them. They should be afraid. The only thing which lets them live as they are is her mercy. They should be thankful that they are even allowed to stay near her very presence.
The guard walks over and gives her the seeing orb. She aims it at the young skeleton and speaks "Who will he be if I choose him." And she stares into the orb.
It takes a moment. a few quick flashes. She sees her castle. Lessons. training. filling meals and-
oh?
Seems like this child will be an exceptional pretty skeleton.
Good. It would just be poor planning if she gave her heir an ugly first mate. she looks to the guards and nods before looking at the skeleton as she hands the orb back "What are you called?" Hopefully it is a good eough name. otherwise she will have to spend energy on thinking off a better one.
The skeleton shrinks futher in on himself but answers "My name is Ccino mister- i mean... my king..."
nim considers the name. Ccino is not a name you hear often. it is clearly not a royal name but it is rare enough to not be obvious as a commoner name...
Nim nods "You may keep that one." she naps her fingers "To the carriage."
Ccino looks confused but her guards walk over and grab him. He lets out a distressed chirp as he looks back to his parents "mom? Dad?!"
both skeletons had risen to their feet "Ccino?!"
The mother looks at her begging "please... please why are you taking ccino? we... we payedour taxes and gave most of the extra we earned! we swear we have prove and documents to proof this!"
The other skeleton tries to get to ccino but guards blcok him. Ccino is pushed into her carriage and the carriage is locked. Ccino looks through the window clearly panicked and with tears running down his face.
Nim slowly turns to the skeleton daring to speak to her "There is a very important position which he will be filling."
The skeleton trembles as she glares at Nim. Tears running down her face "That is my son!"
nim just watches the other. unimpressed and annoyed "Adn you are being hysterical. Then again." she snaps her fingers and the guards grab both adult skeletons "It is important that new servants know their place."
Nim slowly pulls out a contract she had put together. As long as the child is underaged his parents will be in charge of binding documents concerning him. She uses magic and the contract unrolls. Nim taps it ones and her own signature appears on it before letting a few of her own drops of blood fall on it.
Nim speaks calmly "You will sign this. and Ccino will be property of the royal family." she lets it fly closer to the held skeletons.
the female shakes her skull and struggles "No! Never!" The other skeleton is much the same.
Nim sighs as she raises a hand. She can't believe she has to use some of her actual powers for this. it is as if these idiots don't even see the oppertunity. that a future in the castle will be much brighter and perfect than whatever mess of a life he could have here.
both skeletons shudder as they slowly raise their hands.
"No! No! Please don't! Don't take our son! please!"
The begging is annoying and their desperation is hard to control.
See? This is exactly why she will make sure her heir is much stronger. Much much stronger.
The signatures appear on the paper and the guards raise both the parents hands above the contract. Nim watches as the guards cut both hands and blood drips unto it.
Sealing the deal and contract with magic and blood.
It rolls itself up and nim takes it as the skeletons sob and beg. She waves towards the building the both are moved into it before the door closes.
Nim watches the building for a moment before using a simple fire spell to set it ablaze.
The flames are mesmorising.
The screams and cries are annoying.
She watches until the fire dies down. she watches as the guards search the remains. Only returning with dust mixed with the ashes. No way to even know which is which.
She turns her back on the no longer existing building and walks towards her carriage. she enters it and takes a seat in her usual spot before turning her sight on the shaking ball of bones in the corner. Sobbing and crying loudly.
Nim speaks as they start moving "You will pull yourself together if you wish to be useful. I have no need for useless things."
Once he had the first few classes she will tell him what his role will be.
No need to explain to someone who may not even make it through the first week.
If he does however make it through? He will need lessons on how to care for children and all that comes with it.
But she has people for that. No need to get herself involved more than she needs.
She relaxes as she looks through the window. Enjoying the view.
What a perfect day in the perfect kingdom.

I've got a more wholesome and simple request this time How would the SVE marriagables react to the Farmer telling them that they want to start a family (aka have kids with them)? And how quickly would they wanna "get to work" after the Farmer suggested it?
"Get to work", huh... 🌚
I have to say, I was a little hesitant about whether to make Farmer someone specific here. But in the end I decided to make Farmer as neutral as possible. Thank you so much for your question and enjoy 💕
SVE bachelors/ettes react to the Farmer telling them that they want to start a family (have kids with them):
_________________________________________
Magnus Rasmodius:
Yoba have mercy, Magnus has mixed emotions after Farmer said the word 'children'.... Technically, Magnus already has a daughter, but the wizard never took part in raising her. He blamed himself for the mistakes of his youth and no longer believed he would find happiness. But the beautiful Farmer appeared in his life, love, wedding, and now... This time, Magnus will do the right thing. Wizard finally believe he deserves another chance at a happy life and he'll do everything he can to be a wonderful husband to Farmer and a wonderful father to his and their children. No mistakes, not a step backwards. To his bedroom! Erm, that was too rush, wasn't it?
Victor:
"I've waited a long time for this moment... Honey, we'll get to it right now." *winks* "Wait for me here, dear...." *returns with a pile of books from the bookcase* "So, let's start with the 'everything for expectant parents' book...." If the Farmer was expecting, ahem, 'practice in the bedroom', well... they'll get it, but a little later. Victor decided to familiarise himself with the theory of starting a family first, to get it right, and then move on to the practice. He wants everything to go smoothly and safely for both of them. Such an exciting moment for Victor. Don't worry, Farmer, he will organise everything. I think they'll start in a month.
Lance:
*Chuckle* "What a coincidence, I just wanted to discuss this with you." Lance had been thinking about having a baby for a while now, but first the adventurer wanted to talk about his and Farmer's time management. After all, the baby would need all of parents' attention, and with the adventurer's responsibilities (Farmer + their basic farming duties) that could be problematic. However, when Farmer and Lance have discussed important questions, the pink-haired man will smile genuinely at Farmer and shower them with kisses. And then picks Farmer up in his arms and carries them to the bedroom, "to do his conjugal duty."
Sophia:
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep?! Wait, no- I mean yes! I want kids! I mean... Right now?" Poor Sophia, she's red as a tomato, the question caught her off guard. In fact, she had been thinking about becoming a mum for a long time, but couldn't bring herself to bring it up with Farmer. But her spouse was ahead of the uncertain girl. The preparation itself will not begin immediately - the girl wants to anticipate everything. Special books and courses on what to do during pregnancy/what documents to prepare for adoption, prepare the house, prepare herself... It will take several months for sure, because Sophia takes it very seriously, and even though she is worried, the pink-haired girl knows that with her beloved Farmer they can do anything.
Claire:
"Kids? Oh, I don't even know..." Don't get Claire wrong - she would love to be a mother. It's just that weddings, fitting into a new community, moving to the farm and adapting to a new life - Claire is just getting used to it, and wouldn't want to rush things. And the ballet fan is very grateful that her spouse turned out to be an understanding person. In her spare time, Claire will be watching videos on the internet or reading articles useful for parents. For now, Claire and Farmer will slowly but surely prepare the house for a new family member, and in about six months she is ready to conceive a child/sign all the adoption papers.
Olivia:
Olivia knows exactly what to do when having a baby. After all, she'd already raised one child, her precious son, and she still remembered the right way to start. Only Olivia didn't know if her Farmer would share the idea of having children, but she's happy that Farmer was the first to broach the subject. In the case of pregnancy, they'd get started right away. If the case of adoption, that wise woman would first study what documents are needed to draw up the adoption so that there are no problems later in the process. Olivia won't forget to share funny stories from Victor's childhood, which will have wisdom and advice for Farmer as a future parent. How excited she is, very excited!
