First proper sketches of my dragonfly dragon, well not really just dragonlfy because she has a velociraptor like head and I also stole some ideas from Haku (in Spirited Away), so she’s more of a mix, but I’m satisfied with the outcome.

Also she is an amphibian soo quite multi functional😅

Keraterpeton galvani here was part of a group of amphibian-like early tetrapods called lepospondyls.

Living in what is now southern Ireland during the Late Carboniferous, about 318-314 million years ago, this 30-40cm long (~1'-1'4") fully aquatic animal was the earliest known member of the diplocaulid lineage (although its skull was much less elaborately modified than its famous boomerang-headed relative Diplocaulus).

It had a broad short-snouted head with eyes set far forward, and a pair of backwards-pointing bony "horns" at the back of its skull. Its forelimbs were smaller than its hindlimbs, and unlike most other diplocaulids it had five fingers on its hands instead of four.

Its vertically flattened paddle-like tail was also around twice as long as the rest of its body, and was probably its main source of propulsion in the water.

Keraterpeton seems to have been quite numerous in the coal swamps it inhabited, representing the most common species preserved in the Irish Jarrow Assemblage site – a location where fossil specimens were uniquely "cooked" and partially replaced with coal during the fossilization process.

After MONTHS of my printer throwing a tantrum, I finally somehow got it working again, and now I have more stickers for you all!!!!!! I also took updated pictures to try and organize my shop better, and I think the bicolor backgrounds are cute!!!

We've got four new faces this time around: cae-SILLY-an, tiny Blossomfall Briarlight and Bumblestripe, tiny Lightleap Pouncestep and Shadowsight, and tiny Mothwing Hawkfrost and Tadpole stickers!!! I think they all turned out super cute-- come check them out!!!! And even if it's not your thing, I appreciate ya reading this far! My shop mainly has Warrior Cats, random animal/zoology, and Wings of Fire stickers, but I'd like to expand more! Either way, thanks for stopping by!!!! <33

Kinda dropped the ball on Botober, so let's see if I can manage Amphibiuary.

In the interests of completing things I am going to keep it simple and sketchy by using only a pencil brush (and sometimes a charcoal brush).

Day 01 is "dragon", so have this toad-dragon thing.

It is Amphibiuary again! Last year, I did only a few prompts because I lacked time. This year, the same might happen. But here you go, several days late: Amphibuary 2024 Day 1: Dragon! I made a little froggo dressed up as a dragon!

I first drew the frog on paper, scanned it, and then coloured it digitally. That is somewhat special because I haven't done any digital art in about 10 years or so, so hooray for that. Also, I do have neither a graphic tablet nor a regular one, so all the colour was done using my mouse, which was a pain in the arse.

I think I like the eyes best, but I am not fully happy with the wings. I am not fully happy with the texture and not at all with the shading. Also, they kinda look more like a weird butterfly than proper dragon wings, but alas. The concept was meant to be goofy anyway and I went far more all in than I had planned.
