Why is it easier for me, and like every autistic person I've met, to read something when the paragraphs are short?

Short, and filled with rethorical questions. Like, I've tried reading others texts and it just??? Doesn't work??? They're too.. compacted, and there's not enough to think about in it, you know?

Like, there's most certainly things to think about, but I just end up drifting away with one thought it another. Like ??? I need rethoricals to keep me in line, and do do most other autistic people I've met.

But then, of course, grades suffer if I write in the way my brain easiest comprehends stuff. Don't we all just love school?

Ohhhh man, I practically missed it but I haven't fallen asleep yet so - in my head - that means technically it's still Wednesday. Also, yes, I am sorry for getting distracted. Again.

He should’ve clocked it the moment it happened but he was so busy pretending it didn’t mean what he wanted it to that he had no chance of figuring out what it actually did. At least not until his fingers graze the tackiness of his jeans. He wasn’t injured, for once his acrobatics paying off in zero injury but he tries to remember if he’d gotten blood or guts on himself, to inspect it without jostling Stiles too much with his examination.  His head is heavy and warm against Derek’s shoulder, his breaths slow, his heartbeat— Derek freezes, presses his palm into his pants and holds it up in the dark cab of the car.  A passing street light illuminates the very wet, very red shine coating his palm and Derek manhandles Stiles up, who gives a weak groan—weak, so weak—and Derek sees the growing, gummy stain on his side. “Drive faster,” he snarls at Scott, ripping out of his jacket and cursing himself for having such an impractical one.  He yanks off his shirt with so much force he nearly tears it in two, pushes Stiles down as flat as he can, and jams the fabric into his wound. Stiles’ scream is half-strangled and trails off in a whine.  Derek’s stopped seeing him though, stuck on how the hell he could’ve thought Stiles would ever choose to touch him so comfortably. That wasn’t something they did and he’d known that, damn it.  He’d want it to mean something and it did, it meant Stiles was barely fucking conscious and about to bleed out.

Once again tagging anyone who wants to flaunt their progress on the *coughs* one thing they're working on.

I was thinking about how before Security Breach, the animatronics were just robots.

The FNAF Fandom at large has been humanizing the animatronics since the very first 6 AM of FNAF 1 of course, but in the games, the first game where an animatronic was really sapient, sentient was Security Breach. At first, I was thinking Sister Location was the first, with Baby/Ennard (I’m a bit flipsy on my understanding of what really happened with those two). But, Baby was a ghost inhabiting an animatronic. The animatronic before said possession was just that: an animatronic. Memories of before the incident, before the possession, but still locked to pre-determined codes. Singing. Serving ice cream. Watching and counting children until one was alone and then no control over what happened next (”Why did that happen?”) .

The FNAF 1 and 2 animatronics were just straight up robots. They functioned as designed, with their actions, including the murdery habits, being based on codes and systems, something regularly told to you through the game via phone guy. Sure, they had ghosts, but those ghosts were just angry specters. They didn’t speak, they just haunted, they just wanted you dead, and they were locked into going about that by the robotic bodies they had been forced to command. 

Springtrap was like Baby. He was a dude inside, a ghost. A spirit infesting the body he died in. The rabbit he was trapped into was just a robot before he came along.

Security Breach is the first game where the animatronics are ALIVE. They themselves live and think and make choices, no spirits (as far as we know, of course), no manifestations of hell. Just metal. Plastic. And Code.

The one thing I think of all the time is that Freddy LIES for you (or at the very least, he doesn’t tell the truth). When he’s down in parts and services that first time, he lies for Gregory to Vanessa, straight to her face. He CHOOSES to do that. And the other animatronics have to feel to some degree. It can’t just be Freddy who can do things like that. I imagine they’re all the same level of intelligent. The note about Monty. Roxanne’s anger. Sun’s anxious manner. They feel and it’s IN the game.

I don’t know where I was going with this and I lost steam at the end of it. I just wanted to get it out of my head.

Danny after his Parents found out about his phantom identity and didn't take it well used the infinimap to skedaddle and run away, he didn't think it would lead him to another universe causing him to crash land in unknown and odd soils of a new earth.

Danny now turned into homeless teen roams around Gotham and he gets weird looks from all these people everytime he walks by especially worried looks and even muggers don't wanna fucking touch him and only other fellow kids stick to him since he's like a reppelant, soon enough he learns about the world's A/O/B standards and how it's very odd that he's not any of those because he doesn't have a scent.

Danny tries to process this, thinking he might be in Sam's Fanfic Galore AO3 Bookmarks dumped in a collections specifically called "the fantasies that will never come true" and continues to avoid everyone and roam around Gotham, much like a normal homeless kid, they think he's sick cuz of the scent thing and they think he's just also as normal as them cuz the boy bites and has fangs and growls.

The bats find him once he recklessly and without hesitation snag the batmobile's and Red Hood's tires, unlucky for him they have trackers built on that shit and once they found him they're worried that he's ALSO sick because he doesn't have a scent and how he doesn't know about normal A/O/B standards and all that shenanigans, thinking he was an oppressed runaway child from someone in Illinois middle of nowhere somewhere where A/O/B was strictly not talked about or his parents deprived him of that knowledge.

Danny doesn't know how to tell them that he's from another universe because he's an anxious confuzzled teenager who thinks he's just hallucinating or this was Ghost Writer's doing which is impossible because he's said orange and that didn't change shit and then at some point the JL and JLD gets involved and only the JLD clocks the kid as an otherworldly semi-terrestrial child and a denizen of the Infinite realms.

Taylor was still awake. But it wasn't without reasons, as she had emails and work to do before tomorrow arrives, and also a melody stuck in her head too.

She had told you to sleep before her earlier, just because she knows you've had a long, exhausting day as she did. Even though you tried to stay up to accompany her, it was obvious you weren't able to keep your eyes open, so, a few minutes of cuddling had you sleeping within seconds.

The laptop screen made her squint through the dimly lit room, reading the words of a document, or her notes she had to check for anything she's forgotten.

A yawn escapes her mouth, and as her fingers made the keyboard keys clack with her typing, she felt herself getting sleepy.

Her eyes travel to the clock. It was 2 am. The night was still young, really, for any nights she's ever wanted to stay up for. But she wouldn't deny some sleep for now, especially with you already in slumber.

Deciding she needed at least a break, she makes sure everything is saved and mostly done on her laptop before looking to the side to grab her phone.

The screen was unlocked after seeing a picture of you and her, with Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin at the bottom. A smile raises upon her lips, her eyes going to your, thankfully, still sleeping figure.

She closes her laptop and set it aside before scooting closer to you slightly, then returning to her phone. The screen shows instagram loading up, and she uses her index finger to scroll, seeing posts and stories of her friends and other celebrities.

The gentle hum of her voice quietly sounds out, a smile still on her face, which raised up further at the sight of one of your posts; a photo of your hand, intertwined with hers, but a small cat paw joined in, atop the back of your hands.

She remembered when that happened. It was when you were sitting on the living room couch together, watching a movie. Taylor had reached your hand up to leave a soft kiss, and was about to settle it back down comfortably, when Benjamin's fluffy paw had come out of nowhere to touch your intertwined hands.

She scrolls a bit more, seeing Gracie's video of the fire in her kitchen. Again, Benjamin had come into the scene, but he was confuzzled with what he walked into. Taylor didn't even notice he was there when the situation was happening-- especially not when she was cursing at a fire extinguisher hoping her house wasn't going to burn down while Gracie was mindlessly holding up her phone.

She went to type a comment to the video, her thumbs hovering over the digital keyboard, but just as she did, she saw the smallest movement of your stirring in the corner of her vision.

Taylor senses the chance of your awakening, and her eyes lock onto your face with concern. But then, you had jolted out of your sleep with a sharp breath, your eyes snapping open.

Even with her surprise, she catches herself to gently wrap her arm around you, careful not to scare you further as she pulls you closer.

You look around panickly before you felt her hand moving in a soothing rhythm at your back. You find her blue eyes in the darkness, and she could see the vulnerability gleaming in yours.

Her face softens, and her hand moves up so she could gently make you lean against her forehead. "Shhh, it's alright." She whispers, letting go of her phone to wrap both her arms around you, making sure her phone was beside her instead of in between the both of you, just in case she accidentally moves atop it.

With a slow, gentle breath you let out, you snuggle close to her, your nose brushing against her neck, tickling the skin ever so slightly.

Although she was concerned, she could see it in your form; you were calm on the outside, but your rapid heart told otherwise. It was clear. You had a small nightmare, but thankfully not one enough to terrify all your being.

Taylor looks down, tilting her head to take a little peek at you. The tiredness and sleepiness was still in your eyes, the yawn that escapes your mouth told it further.

She smiles softly, turning to lay a soft kiss against the side of your head. Her hand was kept on your back, moving in a soothing motion still.

Minutes passed by, the white noise of the fan and A/C sounding through the room, and her own yawn coming from her mouth.

With a check on you again, she saw your eyes half open, but also not fully closed. The movement of your hand fiddling on her necklace also was a clear sign. You were having difficulty falling back asleep, and she knew you needed a small push.

With a gentle deep intake of breath that she releases slowly, she closes her eyes, leaning into you. A soft hum starts to quietly sound from her, a familiar melody that had your bleary eyes traveling up to her.

"I spy with my little tired eye, tiny as a firefly..."

"A pebble that we picked up..."

"Last july..."

All that filled the space now was her whispered words, starting to lull you to sleep. Her hands lovingly run through your hair, in hopes that it will calm you. With the melting relaxation of your body, it indeed did.

"Down deep inside your pocket,"

She smiles softly, looking at you once more with a warm smile, even while she too, was sleepy, it almost made it even sweeter.

"...We almost forgot it..."

"Does it ever miss wicklow...sometimes?"

Your eyes had grown heavier, and she watches as they finally close. Your breaths dissolve into a steadier, slower rhythm, and her humming matches with the timing.

"Mm, mm..." She hums softly, continuing on with her lullaby, until she too starts to fall asleep herself, joining you in slumber.

They said the end is coming...

Everyone's up to something...

i havent seen many email-format type beat story telling before so this was an absolute joy to explore the story through pearl's detailed emails, grian's panicked typing (how was mans typing and sending so quickly with 365+ lazer eyed chickens chasing him like a mad man + a green gob- i mean goatman), and both bdubs' and cub's concern and nonchalance. not to mention bdubs just nodding along and going "well cub you have proven yourself...and uh- added a totally not a virus to scar's phone- BUT you have proven yourself...." absolute sillies, absolutely iconic
