Hiiiii, I really love your Yan! Sentinel x Prime!Reader, also your SentinelxReaderxStarscream are the best as well! I am a huge fan of both works and both characters, your writings are so *chef kiss* Can I request a somewhat mix of both please? Maybe the Prime!Reader are close with Starscream and it makes Sentinel angry/jealous? Obviously you don't have to, but if you do write for it please take your time :3
Prime!Reader/Starscream/Sentinel
tw: jealousy, rivalry (between Starscream&Sentinel), gender neutral reader. word count: ~1270 a/n: good to know you enjoyed my other fics~ sorry for making you wait too long! the last weeks are exhausting ~_~
Being one of the 13 Primes is no simple task when you have to stand between two fires.
The incoming attack from the Quintessons didn't give you a single cycle of peace either. Over and over again, you've had to brainstorm a new plan with your brothers and sisters on how to push the enemy away from Cybertron. It's exhausting.
At times, you long to lock yourself away in your own chambers, switch off your audio receptors to finally get a break from it all. But luck never seems to be on your side. Every new day started with a new problem, and for some reason, you only had to hear about it from two bots you knew.
Starscream and Sentinel.
Your day could start with an early call from Starscream, where your subordinate, though not literally, hinted at having him accompany you at all times. His presence is absolutely required!
Well that's just Prime.
But when you hear a knock on your door, you don't have to guess twice to find out who it could be. When you finally open the door, standing before you is none other than your faithful servant, Sentinel.
âYou look as beautiful as ever,â Sentinel smiles as he looks in your optics. âAnd your armour is so wonderfully polished, as I can see.â
Starting your afternoon meeting with compliments was something he was used to, even if his attempts to charm you with his speeches never worked. You are many cycles older than him, Sentinel's behaviour only amuses you at best.
âZeta Prime would like to discuss something with you, let me escort you to him,â he holds his servos behind his back, taking a couple of steps back from the doorway.
âZeta wants to see me?â you have a momentary thought. In the current time, that means another long meeting, hours of planning and working out...You nod.
âAfter you,â he humbly motions for you to go through first, his bright blue optics just drilling your own.
As you walk through the long corridors of the tower, the loud clacking of heels comes from somewhere behind you.
âThere you are! I've been waiting for you for like practically half an hour now! Where were you all the time...â Starscream says in annoyance, his wings twitching faintly as the high guard notices...him.
For a moment, a spark of competition runs between your two subjects. Fortunately, or not for them, it never caught your attention, though perhaps you simply preferred to turn a blind eye to it. You have too many responsibilities right now to waste time on those two.
Sentinel still holds that casual pose, helmet tilted slightly, as if the mere sight of the enraged flyer gives him some kind of enjoyment. It doesn't even help that he's standing behind you, you can't even see that nasty grin on Sentinel's face! Oh, how that slimy, hypocritical glitch is annoying-.
âNot now, Starscream. I'll deal with this later. Wait for me here,â you calmly respond, then turn around and disappear behind the doors of the hall, where the rest of the Primes are already waiting.
The door slams shut, leaving the high guard and the advisor alone. Starscream frowns, his red optics aimed at Sentinel, who looks equally displeased.
Even though Sentinel was lucky enough to see you first today, the advisor had to come up with all sorts of excuses for you to pay the slightest bit of attention to him. He's occasionally lucky because you prefer Starscream's company to his own! Or so he thinks at first. As one of the Primes, you spend a lot of time on the battlefield, which makes you more often accompanied by Starscream.
Sentinel hates that. Most of the Primes, even Zeta himself calls on him far more often than you do! He's YOUR advisor, how can you care more about some guard?
Knowing Sentinel, if you were even with him for almost all of your time, any side glance would make him extremely jealous.
âYou're doing this on purpose. Wasting their time on something that isn't helpful in the war,â Starscream crosses his arms over his chassis, not even hiding his displeasure.
âMe? I would never ,â the Sentinel makes an indignant look that is painfully unserious. âI'm just a mere asvisor to them, helping out with a word here and there. Are you afraid of getting screwed, perhaps?â
âTo whom, you? Don't be ridiculous,â Starscream rolls his optics, then steps closer to the Sentinel. âThey hardly notice you.â
âYou want to bet, Screamer?â
âBet.â
You don't know how long it's been since you left them alone, but by the time you arrive, Starscream and Sentinel are there, waiting for you. Not a hint of hostility between them, which is surprising. Whatever had happened there during your absence, they had found another target.
After that day, you completely forgot about such a concept as âpeacefulnessâ. Every day, personal space was violated by one of them. If Starscream insisted on accompanying your every move, Sentinel would surely find another reason to distract and then steal you away from poor jet.
It went on like this time after time until you decided to end this madness once and for all.
When Sentinel unexpectedly received your message, he was hardly strong enough not to give the slightest sign of how extremely pleased he was. You, waiting for HIM, in your chambers? Oh, how much that could mean....
How surprised he was to see none other than Starscream at the door- Oh, lovely. Just when he's fantasising about nice things, you find a chance to ruin his dreams.
Had you left them alone for a split second, another fight would surely have broken out, but luckily neither of them have time to utter a word before you suddenly open the door.
âCome in.â
Starscream and Sentinel throw each other a quick fleeting glance, but not another word and they enter your room. It's large, rich, in your style. They've rarely had the chance to be here, even for a moment.
You stand beside your desk, seated in the centre of the room. You can recall many nights spent at it, searching for solutions to Cybertron's problems. Your gaze is neutral, though inside you are far from calm.
âMay I ask the reason why you decided to call me and...ââ Sentinel pauses briefly before looking at his colleague again. Starscream gives him the same look, as if daring him to make yet another annoying comment.
âYour behaviour,â you begin first again, closing your optics for a moment, trying to remain calm.
âIt's all Sentinel's fault,â Starscream blurts out sharply, pointing at the blue-and-gold fur.
âOf courseâ stop. What?!â Sentinel exclaims, now it's his turn to be outraged.
âIncompetent, arrogant toady, he should have been removed from his position a long time ago, â Starscream continues to recount, which can't help but cause Sentinel's optic to twitch.
âI'm talking about the both of you.â
Well, that certainly got their attention. And thankfully, so did shutting up.
No matter how tempting the idea of removing the two of them from their positions and sending them away, you can't raise your hand and dismiss them. How lucky you are that one of your brothers, while drinking high grade energon, blabbed to you about everything and gave you some wonderful idea.
âWhoever completes as many of my errands as possible during the week will receive a special reward from me.â
You pause again for a moment, watching their reactions. Both of your best subordinates look startled, but, extremely interested. For that reason, you continue.
âI expect excellent results. Don't disappoint.â

Very excited for next summer. Got some tickets to go see Ghost. Gonna be looking forward to that, so it'll help me get through the incoming seasonal depression/work frustrations.
Only thing is not looking forward to potentially having to be the one to drive into the city. We'll see what happens, lots of time until then.
Just gonna focus on the excitement and anticipation. đ
#personal#just talking about stuff im gonna go do next year#as long as nothing catastrophic happens with work i can attend the concert without even having to adjust anything with my schedule#though it's far out enough and not near any holidays so even if i did have to take a day off work very little could stop me from going now#i WILL go have a good time and do something for once#was gonna go to a nearby convention mid october but didn't quite have the funds/transport and work was hellish so ended up not going#which is sad because some of my friends from out west flew out to attend and i haven't seen any of them in person for years#and i suppose will continue to not see them in person because of how things worked out#but yeah now i can't get a car as soon because i did just spend a good chunk of money on tickets#i am not going alone and the other 2 have said they'll pay me back and ive told them not to rush it we've got a year and i have the tickets#ill just have to save a little better over the next month or so#ideally get a car before it gets too cold and starts snowing and stuff#doesn't have to be anything fancy just something i can drive around town in and not cost a fortune to repair#still gotta figure out putting together comission stuff so i can earn a little more that way#maybe get the funds together a little quicker#anyhow ill stop rambling in the notes now#if you read this far in uhhh you are a star i guess lol

disabled intersex trans lesbian needs help saving up for rent while recovering from gallbladder removal surgery
hello, my name is equinox. im a multiply disabled intersex trans lesbian who had to get an emergency surgery to get its gallbladder removed on the 16th of October. i was unable to keep down food and was dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, and on the verge of passing out which forced me to go to the ER to get an emergency surgery. i had to spend 4 days in the hospital while getting this surgery. apparently, the surgeons could tell just how badly it was affecting me just by seeing how things looked on the inside
i have to rest for about 4 weeks to properly recover. i cannot do much walking, lifting, bending, or most other physical activities during this time. my abdominal muscles and organs need time to recover, so i'm mostly bed bound for a month while my body heals. fortunately the surgery went very well and so far i'm having no complications with recovery. it's worth noting that i cannot over exert myself right now to make sure that the recovery period continues going smoothly
i need help saving up for rent, as my ability to work and even promote my own posts was being hindered drastically by the pain the stone stuck in the neck of my gallbladder was causing me. currently i need to not exert myself and to sleep when needed. my rent is only $178/month thanks to having been accepted into a housing program for severely disabled people. currently this and a small order i need to place from the grocery store for some things to aid in my recovery (throat lozenges to help with the sore throat caused by the breathing tube used during surgery, toilet paper, etc.) are the only things i need help saving up for. thanks to everyone who reads, shares and support, i cannot thank you all enough for all the help
$0/$178

=================================
She sounds pretty.
It's the lilt of her voice, how it does a cute thing where she almost, but not quite rolls her r's and chews on her consonants. A voice that sounds like it belongs to someone small. Someone, you know - conventionally attractive.Â
Four minutes, fifty-five seconds. And that's pretty much all she has going for her.
"Let me tell you about my friend's vacation," she starts again, and you've lost track of if this is the same friend, same vacation - or a new one. They're all blending together.
you always thought the âblindâ was a figure of speech. it's fucking pitch black, you wonder if compared to the other guys you were underdressed,, you did see one guy with a blazer and jeans your paycheck couldn't even pay a quarter of it.
But back to the girl, her non stop ramble is now a background noise in your ears, not even sure you can recall who is the ex of who and which boyfriend cheated on her best friend with her sister. Your brain can't keep up.
but regardless, the first round is thankfully over, say your goodbyes to the first girl and stay in your chair.
you consider leaving right now to try and not get disappointed even more, howeverâŚ
âHeyâ The next girl is already here, it will be rude of you to leave just like that.
âHi I am Jakeâ you respond
âNice to meet you, my name is Chaeyoung, but you can just call me Isaâ she responds. The first impression you gather is her voice, Airy and sweet like honey
âHuh, it's a pretty name, First time I ever heard a name like that â you can hear a quiet giggle to your compliment.
âThank you, I am actually from South Korea, I came here to LA for summer vacationâ.
âThat's cool, I actually live in LA myselfâ You lean back in your chair, getting comfortable around the mysterious girl.
âOh wowâ you could hear the excitement in her voice. âDo you have any places you can recommend to me?â she asked.
âUhhâŚwell, Here in Santa Monica Pier it's always fun for tourists too walk around here, I assume you have already been at the walk of fame in Hollywood and Universal studiosâ you answer.Â
âI have to say though: this whole dating in the darkness is very fun, isn't it?â Fun is certainly one way to describe this, the other way is a gamble but for the sake of keeping the conversation fun you agree with her.
âIts like all of my other senses are much stronger, like some superheroâŚâ Isa giggles, it's addictive that you can't help but join, with the sound of small shifts on her chair you can imagine how she is doing some battle poses.
âHehe thats truuu-â quickly shut your mouth, that voice crack was the last thing you needed on a date but fortunately for you, Chaeyoung sounds a short laugh.
âNervous?â
âheheâŚYeah, been a while since i was on a dateâ you explain, recalling your experiences with your failed relationships, it still stings a bit.
"Let's play a game then." There's some faint sounds of movementâa ruffling of clothes and the creak of a chair. She sounds clearer now, her voice doesn't have to carry as far and she's far more pronounced.Â
"Help you relax a bit: What do you think I look like?â she asks, her tone is playful and happy as if she is the host of a game show, This second date goes better than you expected.
âHmmâŚlet me thinkâŚI am gonna guess that you haveâŚblack hairâŚis it long?â Your first answer is hesitant.
âNot telling~â she responds with a playful note. âHow about my clothes?â
There is curiosity in her voice, excited to see how you will respond, you could hear her fingers tapping on the table, remembering to not waste time. âWell, you sound like a sweet girl, like the simple things in life, soâŚâ you pause, trying to imagine her in many different styles and clothes that could fit her in the 5 or so minutes that you got to know her.Â
Remember who is wasting whoâs time so better lock in your answer now and say.
âMy guess is⌠a summer dress?â quite the answer you give out, and the way you say it like you are one answer away from receiving the grand prize of Chaeyoung's game show, but back to her answerâŚ
âYou think it's something I will wear?â Isa questions, her tone sounds like she is also imagining herself wearing one.
âYeah, it looks cute,â you respond. âAnd its not too crazy to wear on a first dateâ you add, hearing a small giggle after.
âOk, i will keep it mind next time we meetâ
âWill there be a next time?â
âI don't see why notâ
You're happy, a bit surprised it didn't take you that much time to find someone in this speed blind dating thing, expecting more or less what happened the prior date but here you are.
âIt's your turn to guess now?â You ask, already feeling comfortable around her.
âOk ok, so i-â
But sadly as if life has decided to cockblock you, the time is over as an alarm can be heard as a signal to switch, you can only look at the general direction of where Chaeyoung could be and sigh, showing your disappointment.
âWe can always meet later if you wantâ you can feel her wanting to continue her date with you but every good thing must come to an end
âOf course, it was very fun talking with youâ
âSame to you as wellâ you can hear Isa lift herself from the chair. âSee yaâ she added in a happy tone before leaving you at the lone table. You can't help yourself but smile.
âMaybe it won't be as bad as i thoughtâÂ
=================================
Time goes on and other girls come and go, however, you can't help but wonder more about Isa, what makes her laugh? What does she like to do on the weekends? what are her dreams, aspirations and everything in between, the curiosity killed you inside.
more importantly: you wonder what she looks like, outside of the darkness you were both in. If it wasn't clear enough: you are interested in her, they all say love at first sight doesn't exist but here you are, letting your mind fill with the idea of her.
You are set in stone of your choice, and there is no chance you will change yo-.
âuhm Hello? Are you there?â
Zoom out of your thoughts, focus on the husky, feminine voice coming from what seems to be in front of you. How long has she been sitting there? How long have you been daydreaming?? Thank god it's dark so quickly compose yourself before it can get awkward and start talking.
âOh hi, im jake. Nice to meet youâ
âUhh, nice to meet you too,â she responds, it's not hard to hear the shakiness and in her voice showing her nervousness to you, the small shifting sounds in her chair. âI am Chaeyoungâ.
You're caught off guard, the world is smaller than it seems with you meeting two girls Sharing the same name, âisn't that a Korean name?â
âUh, yeah, howâŚhow did you know?â.
âI actually met another girl named Chaeyoung before in hereâ you say, it would be funny if they actually knew each other but the chances are slim. It's not like you know every Jake either.
âOh, that's coolâŚâ she mumbled, sounding as if she was disappointed to hear it
The silence is now getting awkward, you both wait for the other one to start breaking more of the ice and it seems that she was the patient one between both of you since you are the first to give up and get the conversation going.
âSo what do you do? For a living I meanâ you are met with unintelligible mumbles as an answer, a bit unsure you ask her again to clarify.
âIâŚmodel, it's not super serious thoughâ Chaeyoung quietly answered, you could hear light, quick taps beneath the table.
âOh wow, I bet you are like, really pretty if you do modelingâ you dont know how much confidence you got to say such a thing but you are already mentally face-palming yourself. You could feel yourself gaining some creep points in her mind over this comment.
âOh, uhh ThankâŚthank you very muchâ Chaeyoung stutters, her tone jumps an Octave, sounding a small giggle. You can only sigh in relief that you didn't weird Chaeyoung out.
âI'm in LA for a photoshoot, since we finished earlier than expected i got a couple of days free to hang out around the cityâ she explains, still sounding nervous but much more at ease than before. âSo what do you do for work, Jake?â She returns your question to you.
âAh, I just work as a barista in a small cafĂŠ, nothing much.â you manage to say in a montone, unpleasant tone. You are a bit embarrassed that you have the chance to blind date a model while you are the equivalent of nothing compared to her
âItâs-Itâs okay, i'm honestly not some super popular modelâ her words quickly come out of her mouth. âBesides, I can imagine being a barista is much more relaxing of a job, not trying to get every deal possible just not to lose money.â
âI mean, it doesn't pay much but it is less stressful,â you respond. You can hear two glasses of water placed on the wooden table with one of them handed to you, together with a straw since you could imagine how drinking from the cup would end like.
âSo, what does a model like youâ you stop, taking a small sip of the water to refresh yourself. -doing in blind speed dating?â
âIt's just easier for me, usually when i go on dates I get nervous, and my eyes travel too much, and I kind of panicâŚâ Chaeyoung explains, lightly giggling at her own experience before taking a sip from her water glass as well .âSo I thought doing something like this could help me feel uhh you know⌠less stressed.â
âHey, you do you, as long as you are comfortable.â
âYeah, that's true,â Chaeyoung replied. Her voice turns less shaky and more clear than at the start of your date, it was clear that both of you had fun on that date.
So much so that in fact, you both were caught off guard by the timer for your date finishes and the lights suddenly turn up again, revealing the girl in front of you for the first time.
Right off the bat; you understand why Chaeyoung is a model.
A heart-shaped face and a delicate, soft jawline paired with brown, expressive eyes and Black shoulder-length silky hair that is enough to make every man look at her in awe, including you. Even her clothing is model-like with a Chic, stylish black off shoulder shirt and Denim jeans that show her features exceptionally well. By the way, you should say something before you will sound weird
âOh, nice to meet youâ stand up from your chair and raise your hand to a handshake.
âNice to meet you too, i gotta say that i didn't see that coming at allâ Chaeyoung cheerfully responded while shaking your hand, sounding a sincere chuckle while her eyes joined her wide smile.
âSame, i almost had a heart attackâ you jokingly say while you get your jacket off your chair. âSay, wanna go outside? Maybe get to know each other moreâ she only nods, taking her jacket from her chair as you both head out from your table toward the exit of the bar.
=================================
âOh, here you areâ you recognize this airy voice, taken aback as you look at where the voice comes from.
Though you were right about the black hair, you did miss the mark on Isa's outfit. Short crop top and tight jeans, that cute summer dress was nowhere to be found.
Her cat-like eyes lock onto yours, she flashes a sweet yet devilish grin before heading toward the two of you.
âGotta say Jake: i had a feeling you were good looking, but i didn't expect you to be this good lookingâ Isa compliments you, giving a small wink then her gaze turns to Chaeyoung with curious eyes.
âYour friend?â She asks you,
âHi, I'm Chaeyoung, nice to meet youâ She says, reaching her hand forward as Isa is suddenly taken by surprise.
âUm, I am Chaeyoungâ
âThat's my nameâ
âThat's⌠also my name"
âWhat's your family name?â Chaeyoung asks, now intrigued by the other girl.
âIts Leeâ Isa responds, now it's Chaeyoungâs turn to be surprised.
âthat's alsoâŚmy family nameâ
During this, you are just looking at what's happening in front of you. As much as you are curious, you are also worried since it seems like both were interested in dating you after this.
However, one quick look at each other, another one to look at you and then looking back at each other, the two girls started laughing, both covering their mouths to muffle the volume. You can only sigh in relief that it turned for the better.
Eventually they both let their laughs out as Chaeyoung speaks. âIt's quite a surprise to meet another Korean here in LAâ.
âPlease, call me Isa, and same, nice to meet you too Chaeyoungâ she replies, chuckling lightly as the other girl can't help but start chuckling as well before they reach their hand for a small handshake
âWell that went better than expectedâ you manage to slip in the conversation reminding them that you are still here.
âYou also met him on Speed dating?â
Chaeyoung nods. âWe were the last round before the lights turned on, you two met earlier?âÂ
âYeah, the other guys were kind of boring but he was a breath of fresh airâ Isa explains, turning her gaze to you and winking at you. You could swear your heart skipped a beat.
At this moment one question rose in your mind and as you looked at the two girls with an awkward look, they both realized what you were as they sounded a small âohâ before looking at each other again. As much as you didn't want you, you had to choose one of the girls to be your date.
âYou can go out with Jakeâ Chaeyoung quickly says, smiling sweetly and lightly pushing Isa toward you, both you and the cat-like girl are surprised.
âChaeyoung? Are you sure?â you question, why was she suddenly
âYeah yeah, I'm sure, You two met before I met you, so she should have youâ she explains, her eyes joining her smile. You did feel bad about leaving Chaeyoung out however an idea was about to be suggested that would fix that problem.
Then again, you aren't sure if this was an actual fixâŚ
âI dont mind you dating us bothâ
What
âWhat?â Chaeyoung raises her eyebrow in surprise at Isa, the one who suggested that idea out of the blue, you were not far behind Chaeyoung in your reaction as well, being completely confusement.
âI mean dont see why not, I like you, you like me, she likes you, You like her. I am bad at math but it doesnât seem too hard to solve this problemâ Isa explains looking at you, You and Chaeyoung swap looks, you can feel your cheek heating up and changing to a pink shade.
âI mean uhâŚas long as Jake doesn't mind, it's okay by meâ Chaeyoung stutters, Isa likes this response as she smiles at her new friend, her arm goes around Chaeyoungâs shoulder.
âIm sure it will be great, So what do you say Jake?~â Isaâs voice is sweet when she looks at you with her warm smile, Chaeyoungâs smile is also there but is much more timid.
The choice was now in your field, you didn't expect there to be a third option in the first place and all in honesty: That idea seemed like trouble. But when Isa looks at you with her cheerful smile, standing like that next to Chaeyoung with a smile that makes them look together like the next cover page for a magazine, it's hard to say no to them.
And deep inside: you don't want to.
âSure, if that's what you two wantâ you respond, it seems they are both satisfied with your choice as they look at each other with warm smiles.Â
you honestly didn't mind this idea as long as they were both happy, besides, what's the worst that could happen?.
=================================
âDang it!â Isa yelled, almost managing to block your hit of the air puck but it ended up inside the goal because of the unusual angle you shot it. âSoâŚa model, that sounds like a cool job to have, no?â She directed her question to Chaeyoung, giving her the mallet she was holding.
âHuh? Oh yeah, it's fine, I'm not getting many offers compared to the average modelâ Chaeyoung answers, half focused on aiming the first shot before quickly shooting it at your goal. âbut it's good moneyâ
You reflect the puck. âI mean, if it's something you like to D-â Stop what you are saying and block the surprise attack Chaeyoung does, look at her cheeky smile as you know she almost scoredâ-Do, you can do almost everything you wantâ you continue what you were saying as you send the puck toward her direction.
âYeah that's trueâ Chaeyoung smiled toward you, then quickly smacking the puck directly into your goal, getting herself a point. âSo, what do you two work at?â.
âA Gaming cafe, Came to LA as a summer trip with my friends after examsâ Isa replied, taking your mallet and shooting the puck from her side.
âDamn, compared to you two my job sounds boring as fuck, You are a model, you work at a gaming cafe, and i am just a barista at a cafeâ you jokingly roast yourself, eyes moving from side to side with each side the puck goes to.
âHuh, not my first thought when it comes to your job,â Isa says, a bit surprised. âButâŚi imagine you look quite handsome in barista clothesâ And there she goes again, with that flirty smile and curious eyes that you swear you fall in love deeper than you were.
Now look at Chaeyoung, not as flirty as the other girl but it seems that, unlike the first time you met her, she is much less tense, more at ease around the two of you, genuinely enjoying her time.
After the air hockey game is over and a quick stop to get some of LAâs finest street food (which the two seemed to really enjoy for their first time), the three of you are now sitting on the boardwalk, the sound of the waves going back and forth is singing in your ears, however now they topic of the conversation seems to get moreâŚlaid-back.
âSo let me get this straight: your best friend is Korean, right?â You ask, Isa responds with a small nod
âAnd she has a British accent?â Chaeyoung continues your question, getting Isa to laugh again.
âYes-â she stops talking to take a sip from the water bottle in her. âFully Korean, with a British accent, one time my friends and I were listening to a song called âRun 2 Uâ by some random group, and she said the name of the song asâ she suddenly released a small chuckle unable to keep her cool.
âAs what? Just tell usâ Chaeyoung comments, half smiling as if she already knows the answer, Isa meanwhile slowly downed the water so she wouldn't choke before finally saying after a deep breath.
âRaeun tew yewâŚâ The mock accent that Isa adds gives the punch line more of an oomph as you all start laughing, small tears of joy leave your eyes as you slam the wooden deck, meanwhile, Chaeyoung covers her mouth to hide the amount of blush she has on her cheeks from how hard she is laughing.
âOh that was good, I didn't expect to laugh this hardâ You exclaim, taking a deep breath as you now go back to staring at the waves. âHonestlyâŚthis date has been really fun, with both of you,â.
âLike-wise, we both enjoyed your company as wellâ Chaeyoung replies, sweetly giggling while her left fingers go to her hair, pushing it aside with the side effect of getting your cheeks slightly pink, luckily the weak lighting make it hard to see for the two girls.
âSame for meâ Isa chimed in with a smile. âSay, want to continue it somewhere else? It's getting lateâ she prompts as a soft yawn escapes her mouth.
âHuh? Okay, if you want my place is closeâ you say, standing up from the deck as you lend your hand to help her stand up.
âThat's greatâ She says as her gaze turns to the other girl. âYou're coming as well Chae?â.
Chaeyoung suddenly tensed up in surprise. âChae?â she asks, to which Isa just giggles at her rather cute reaction.
âYeah, it's a cute nickname, you don't mind it, right?â Her tone is sweet when she asks her friend with a warm smile, that way when Chaeyoung smiles, she mirrors the same warmth with her own smile.
âOf course i don'tâ she responds, standing up and lightly stretching to gain some sense of her body, âSo? Lets goâ
âGreatâ Isa comments before turning her gaze to you. âJake, mind leading the way?â
=================================
The ride home is quieter than usual.
Not that there were not any talks inside the cab you decided to take to your place, but most of the talking was done by the two girls, sitting on each side of you, only speaking in a language you can only assume is korean.
Itâs a simple loop: Isa says something, they look at you (which you could only smile awkwardly at their happy gazes), Chaeyoung answers with something else and they start giggling, sneaking another look at you and then it goes back again.
Eventually the taxi stops, leaving you right in front of your apartment complex. âHmm, it really is close to the pierâ Isa commented, easy for her to say when the entire bus ride has been ten minutes but for you it felt like an eternity.
As you scale the stairs up to your floor and walk to your apartment, you manage to fish the keys to your apartment out of your jeans pockets and open the door.
âWell here we are,â you say, getting inside and turning the lights on, revealing the living room, a couple boxes of instant-noodles on the table, the tv is on with a random news channel. âAs you can see, it's not that big but its co-â
As you turn around to look at the two girls, your mouth opens wide in shock.
In front of you is Isa, head tilted slightly to the side as her lips close the distance with Chaeyoungâs. Her hands are not left idle as they both smoothly travel across the olderâs back, feeling every inch of her partnerâs body.
Meanwhile Chaeyoung's eyes are wide open and her body froze, surprised by the sudden act of Isa. It's not long until she as well eases up into the kiss, gently closing her eyes and putting her hands on the youngerâs hips, you can hear how tongues slowly starts getting into the mix as the two girls vocalise small hums and whimpers. Eventually the torture comes to an end as their lips part from eachother but not their hands
âThat⌠was your plan in theâŚend?â Chaeyoung asks in between pants, trying to collect air to aid surprise
âOf course, and besidesâŚâ Isa answers, turning her head enough to get her eyes on you, more specifically a bit down from your eyes. âIt seems like he enjoys the showâ.
Look down at the visible tent that is forming inside your pants and your hand that is slowly stroking itself to the beautiful yet unholy sight in front of you, another look into their eyes and you can see the arousement both girls share at your own prize.
âCome behind her jake, she feels divineâ Isa elongates the last word-just the right way to get you Following her prompt, walking toward the two girls and getting behind Chaeyoung, your hands wrap around her midriff and your lips find themselves on the back of her neck causing her to quietly gasp.
With each second that your threeway makeout session was passing you could feel your pants getting tighter and your lust growing larger, enough that in a very bold move you let your palm find Isaâs right buttcock, giving it a gentle squeeze that makes her release a soft moan and take a look at you with a slutty smirk.
âYou sneaky motherfuckerâ she playfully said, getting one of her hands off Chaeyoung's hips and wrapping it around your length. âYou're hard alreadyâ she exclaims, leaving the two of you standing in front of her, wanting more from her, and from each other.
âI cant wait any longer~â Isa breathily says, giving you two a playful wink before disappearing into your bedroom. As lust quickly takes over your body you grab Chaeyoung by the hips and pull her into a kiss, and by how Chaeyoung quickly reciprocates the kiss and doesn't pull away, you can tell she wants it too.
You don't have time to process the texture of Chaeyoung lips, or how her long, soft legs are wrapped around your waist. Your only goal is to get the two of you into the bedroom, where Isa sits on your king sized bed with hungry eyes, licking her lips in anticipation.Â
You let Chaeyoung get on your bed as you quickly join the two girls while tossing your shirt off to the side of the bed letting the two girls marvel at your naked chest.
âFuckâ Chaeyoung mouthed.
âTold you he was hotâ Isa adds, scooting herself in front of you to get a hold of your chest before leaning in for a quick peck on your lips. âYou don't mind undressing yourself, do you? me and Chae here have a show we need to give youâ No answer was needed besides a nod as you went to the edge of your bed, letting the two girls begin.
It starts with kissing, slow yet sensual with Isa taking the lead by Straddling Chaeyoung's lap while one of her hands begins to glide across Chaeyoung's curves, ending at her left breast. âFuck unnie, the things i will do to have a body like yoursâ.
Chaeyoung elicits a muffled moan to the soft grope Isa gives her, eyes completely shut and her and head looking up to let the pleasure take over. Soon Isa begins moving her hands all around her body, giving every inch of skin attention until eventually she stops one hand on the hem of Chaeyoung's shirt, the other supporting her from behind.
âYou don't mind letting me take it off, right?â A quick nod of approval from the older one and Isa begins to slowly pull it up, moving to the right to let you see how slowly but surely more skin is revealed until finally the shirt is completely above her head giving you a clear view of Chaeyoung's black, lacy bra.
During all of this you are hard as a rock, can't take your eyes off from the two girls in front of you, even while you attempt to zip your jeans and rid them off your legs leaving you only in your briefs. You could swear you saw Isa lick her lips at the first sights of your briefs.
âCan I take yours too?â Chaeyoung's question is needy, eyes showing every sign of want to her Partner, hands are not left idle either with both of them resting on the upper part of Isaâs midriff, slightly below her two mounds.
âOf course, Unnieâ she responds, leaning her body back and relaxing herself to let the older begin a strip tease of her own, every second that passes raises the sexual tension between them to a new level.
Unlike Chaeyoung, Isaâs crop top is not as loose compared to her black shirt, revealing the younger's breasts, covered with a crimson colored undergarments of her own with nipples taut from the arousal.
âMuch betterâ Isa sighs in relief, feeling lighter without her crop top that is now thrown somewhere to the floor as once again she looks at you with a soft gaze however her mouth is anything but, painted with a sultry smile that can only speak trouble, finally with a breathy voice she playfully asks
âYou're coming, Jake?â
The way Isa says your name, it's enough to let your primal instincts take over you, every red light is now turned green as you quickly pull Isa from behind into your lap, feeling her naked skin in your palms, right hand rests on her breast while the left hand goes to her thigh, rubbing and squeezing it to your heart's content.
âOh god, yessssâ Isa hisses the last word, it was clear that she enjoys every second of this, enough so that she doesnt pull away but instead leans in, meeting you in a torrid, messy makeout session, you two don't notice how Chaeyoung has already got rid of her whole bottom, only with her bra on with fingers already inside her pussy, definitely enjoying the view.
âDon't just stand there Chae, join usâ This might be the most confident thing you have said this entire evening but it sure works on her since Chaeyoung now sits in front of Isa, palms massaging her clothed thighs, giving you a free hand to grope Isaâs other breast.
Those are not the same girls you met a couple of hours ago during that blind date, any semblance of innocence and fluff was left outside the door, now replaced with Lust and it's oh so clear with how Chaeyoung's eyes get aroused with each button she pops out of Isa jeans until eventually she finds her undergarment, same color as her bra with a wet spot in the middle.
Knowing what Chaeyoung was doing, Isa takes her hands into her denim jeans, lowering both the jeans and her own panties before throwing them away, leaving her creamy, thick thighs for both of you to revel in.
With the excitement in your body. You don't notice how Isa left your grasp, crawling away with a sway of her hips from side to side, now near her Chaeyoung they both look at you with an inviting smile, now giving you a chance to see both of them in their full glory.
With a devilish smirk Isa now moves behind the older girl, her eyes looking directly at you in an attempt to lure you in. Then a click can be heard as Chaeyoungâs bra now falls onto the mattress, Isa quickly joins her as now in front of you, two naked, gorgeous ladies sit in front of you.
And finally, knowing what the last piece is missing from the puzzle, you finally grab the hem of your boxers, pulling it down to let your Hardened cock stand strong and proud.
âTold you he was bigâ Isa exclaims, giving a small nudge to Chaeyoung with a small giggle, her friend quickly joins her.
âYeahâŚso bigâ she mumbles quietly, her finger inside her mouth, lightly chewing on it to hold in the excitement of seeing your size.Â
However, you didn't come this far with them just to watch each other naked, and they are not either as without saying a word, the two of them playfully shove you down into the mattress and get into their positions.
It starts off with Isa finding her place on your legs once again, looking directly at you with her thighs wrapped around your cock, only the tip is exposed to the air as after a flirty wink, she starts rubbing her thigh on you.
âOh shit, IsaâŚâÂ
You groan, the rest of your voice comes out as a moan that gets her excited, you could have witnessed the obscene act of her thigh job until the end of time, however it is quickly obstructed by Chaeyoung's ass planted on your chest, her rear side all for you to view how it moves, you are not surprised why she is a model with a body as divine as hers.
âJakeâŚi can feel you twitching â Isa whines, feeling your tip slightly touch her entrance is enough to let some precum leak out of your tip with you releasing another moan.
âHey, let me have some tooâ Chaeyoung interrupts, taking her thumb and brushing it over your tip and grabbing some of it as you could hear how she gives it a small lick before humming cheerfully at your taste.
âOoo, he taste good~â how the fuck did you even think this girl was innocent again?
âCan I have some unnie?â
âSureâ as if Chaeyoungâs timing was perfect, your first shot of cums leaks out of your member as she quickly gets some on her fingers.Â
âSay ahhhâ Chaeyoung prompts as Isa happily obliges, letting her fingers get inside her mouth, tasting . Its down right torture how you are not allowed to see what might as well be a scene from an adult film but regardless you can only enjoy the sounds, its not like you didnt do it before.
As your libido starts growing, so does your confidence as your palms firmly hold each buttcock of Chaeyoung, feeling its texture by softly squishing it, kneading it like dough causing Chaeyoung to utter a moan while arching her body back to give you all of the signals that she is enjoying it.
âOkay, this is enough teasing, we want the real thing nowâ Isa exclaims, Freeing your cock from the confines of her thighs giving it a breath of fresh air as now she squats over your face, giving you a clear view of her shaven pussy. Chaeyoung meanwhile heads over to sit next to your cock, still standing, waiting for the next storm to hit.
âI assume I am still not gonna get a look aren't i?â You ask, trying to sound cocky however Isa didn't say anything as she was slowly lowering her body, obstructing your view once again. With her thighs around your body and her pussy so close to your face, you let your tongue out giving her lips the first lick, just to test the waters.
âOh fuck, yessâ You hear Isa muffled moans from pleasure, feeling her ass gyrating on your tounge, enjoying every moment as you could feel the friction of her thighs on your face.
âYou should join us Chaeyoung-AH, i can see him waiting just for you~â you could feel yourself getting even harder than before by the way Isa playfully invites her friend, all the while she is overtaken by pleasure. you are excited to see how Chaeyoung goes off with you, however your thoughts are stopped with a loud groan, not expecting your cock to feel the tightness of her pussy wrapped around you.
After the first contact Chaeyoung starts slowly moving up and down, each dip takes your cock deeper inside her, you could feel how each time you were inside her fluids were coating you more and more. âOh my god Isaaaaa-â she stops her sentence, quickly releasing a sultry, husky moan. âHis f-feels so goodâŚâ.
âHis tongue too unnie, he is eating me out so wellâ Isa adds. It's nice to hear the compliment, so much that you get the confidence to start moving at your own pace, pushing your tongue inside. Meanwhile your hands grope Isaâs ass, giving you the grip to start pushing your hips in a matching pace to chaeyoungâs downward movement, Causing the two girls to scream from pleasure, holding each other in order to not collapse on the spot.
You could only Imagine how the girlâs lewd expressions were, just from the ungodly sounds, the scent of lust and cum, and the feeling of their curves on your body you could guess the fun they were having, but it would not be over until you all finally relieved yourself.
âAre you close Jake?â Isa manages to form a question while looking down, you could only respond with a muffled âyesâ and a nod of approval.
âI'm close too guys, i have to cumâ Chaeyoung replies, releasing another moan in between bohnces it seems like you were all in on the same train of thought as you could feel yourself getting closer to your climax, even without Isaâs Ass directly on your face your view was getting hazy from ecstacy.
âShit girls, i am going to-â you couldn't even finish the sentence before finally releasing your cum, thank god you pulled out of Chaeyoung just in time.
Your thick load goes all over their bodies, on Chaeyoung thighs, on Isaâs midriff, some even spills on your own abs, you are also not alone as they both get their own orgasm which goes all around your body, Chaeyoung coating your cock and Isa spilling around your face and abs
It takes a while but eventually you are all drained, both girls fall into each of your side, finally giving you a chance to see the two girls laid on the mattress, their bodies painted with cum from the three of you, their faces happy and satisfied.
For a couple of minutes it's quiet, the only way you communicate is with your eyes, looking at each other not with lust but instead with a warm, peaceful gaze.
Eventually Chaeyoung finally breaks the silence. âFuck, im not a virgin but i gotta say; that is the best sex i had in my lifeâ
âSame for me, i don't know if i want a round 2 or to stopâ Isa joins between heavy pants, her hands wrap around your body as she looks at you with the same warm smile she had back when you first saw her.
âI don't know about you two, but i need a good rest after thisâ you manage to say as you once again lay down on the bed, eyes looking at the ceiling with each hand goes behind the girlsâs back, pulling them closee to you.
âOkay then, we will start cleaning and then join youâ Isa replies, letting you close your eyes and get some rest. However not before you can hear faint sounds of slurping as you open eye and see Chaeyoung's lips wrapped around the tip of your cock, isa behind holding her hair and tying it to makeshift ponytail.
âHmm, it seems you two wanted anotherâ you say, smiling at the two girls.
âHey, you're still hard and we are still horny, you complain?â Isa asks, her eyes locking into yours paired with a flirty grin and a cute wink.
Something tells you that you wont get a good rest from those two girls.

SYSTEM! SHEN YUAN AU (Pt.2)
Pt.1
Im not done with this, so to the people that wanted more, here it is! I, fortunately or not, have thought way too much again, so once more this is going to be a very, very, VERY long post. If you guys have any ideas about this btw, please do share them! I really am just letting my mind wander a bit more than usual, so maybe someone else can have more structured thoughts than me lol. (Fair warning, there probably will be plot holes, so sorry in advance!)
Please read Pt.1 if you haven't, or this won't make any sense!
After SY warped away from his impromptu meeting with Binghe, the last place he would like to end up would be even deeper into the Endless Abyss, but according to his System, the next piece of the virus was here. While not happy, since his Personal System was (mostly) working as intended, SY managed to activate Ghost Mode and walk towards the next part without having to deal with any of the creatures down there. (He had to try very hard not to get distracted by the monsters, lest his supervisor thinks he also went missing.)
It takes considerably more time to find the virus this time, so much in fact, SY starts to recognize his surroundings from SQH's ramblings (not that he was interested or anything), and he feels a cold sense of dread running down his spine. There was no way he was that unlucky that the object that got corrupted this time was-
He was that unlocky. Lo and behold, after entering a run down ruin, SY is faced with the legendary Xin Mo, power so overwhelming it manifested as dark fire covering the blade. The only reason why SY wasn't immediately writhing on the ground from the sword's power was Ghost Mode, which he could not rely for too long, as his Personal System was displaying warning after warning about Possibility of Corruption and God Like Plot Point. It all meant that SY was on a timer, and if he took too long, the sword would start corrupting his System, which in turn could corrupt him.
Now, since this was a VERY important Plot Point, Luo Binghe had to find Xin Mo or else the plot would derail to an unfixable degree, SY couldn't just snip at it, which was a problem, since manual debugging took a considerably longer time! Still, he summons his Scissors and positions it so he can start at least trimming off the virus.
His plan immediately backfires however, as an ominous crack sounds through the air and he's suddenly pushed away from the sword by a gust of energy. A bit disoriented, he shakes his head and acesses the sit-
Xin Mo, the horrible sword it was, was apparently so OP that it seemed to detect the Scissors at the last second, and the thing attacked back! The metal of the Scissors was dark and broken where it came close to the sword, almost broken in half! Which, not good! It any other time, a pair of broken Debugging Sheers would be more or less fine, if not a major inconvinience (and pay deduction) for SY, but since he'd been warping all over the time for a while now, his Personal System's energy reserves were carefully rationed, and if he were to use a chunk to send the Scissors back for some emergency repair, he'd only have one chance to go back to HQ. Alone.
He couldn't delay it any longer, he desperately needed to find SQH and pray he still had some energy reserves left.
Setting his Personal System's next warp location to SQH's last known location, SY wouldn't have guessed in a million years that he would go back to Cang Qiong Mountain, but whatever; maybe SQH had wanted to start with fixing the bug on Binghe's pendant? Not that this was the right time since it was after Binghe fell into the Abyss, but SQH had never been good at warping. It takes a bit of wandering and going inside different buildings, but eventually his Personal System managed to get a dirrect ping on SQH's System, which sent a massive wave of relief rushing through SY, since it meant that SQH was still slive.
Though as to why he was at An Ding Peak, SY could only guess.
After a bit more wandering, SY enters on what seems to be a (very messy) office space, SY feels all the pieces coming together in his mind. Half sprawled across the table with piles of paper covering the entire table's surface lay the An Ding Peak Lord, which- was already weird, since wasn't this guy supposed to be an enemy of the Peak now? After the whole betrayal thing or whatever? But that would've been something to look into later, were it not for said Peak Lord casually scrolling through a Personal System screen. A Personal System that could only be used by the System's Maintanence Staff.
SY wastes no time in deactivating Ghost Mode, and when SQH's eyes snap to his, the man jumps so high from his chair he almost falls back. It's not a happy reunion by a longshot, since SY immediately jumped his friend co-worker and demanded an explaination, almost screaming about it was all his fault for doing shitty maintenence, and creating this shitty world if it's shitty OP sword which broke his Sheers? Do you know how expensive these are?? I know you do, cause the supervisor never lets you touch the good ones cause you keep cracking all the other pairs-
It takes a more or less one whole hour to calm down SY, but eventually the younger settled and lets SQH say his bit of the story: Apparently, in his messing around with the System's world creation program when he was trying to find the bug in his world, he'd accidentaly managed to get himself actually transmigrated to PIDW, though still with (limited) acess to his Personal System, which let him still send messages to their supervisor and pretend that everything was ok. He'd gotten so unlucky too! Out of all the people to accidentaly select, did it have to be the An Ding Peak Lord? Couldn't it have been Binghe? Or MBJ- (SQH cuts his lamenting when he notices SY's absolutely viscious death glare being stared right through his soul.)
Long story short, he'd initially did try to fix his blunder, but as more time passed and SQH's access to Maintenance priviledges went out one by one on his System, he eventually just... Started actually living there. In fact, he was living so well there that he dared say his life as Peak Lord was even better then when he was with the System! Of course, since he had been integrated as a 'character' now, he had his limitations, he actually managed to get to know his fellow peak lords! He knew the name of his character's family members and his disciples! He'd managed to build a life he never even thought he could have inside the System.
Sure, did he betray the Peak? Yes, yes he did. Were they all going to die in a few years time when Binghe came back from hell? Yeah, yeah they were, and he was immensely guilty and terrified, but! The plot could be changed! He already assumed someone from the System had popped up in the Conference, as when Binghe had recently made his alliance with MBJ, and had mentioned in passing this weird thing that had happened to him just before he fell into the Abyss.
Anyways, eventually SY begrudgingly accepts SQH's decision to stay in PIDW, but he still had to help SY; and so they form a plan: SY was going to transfer some energy to SQH so he could temporarily get his acess to the full version of his Personal System and use his energy reserves to send SY's Sheers and get them fixed. SQH was also going to properly apologize to their supervisor for suddenly quitting without notice AND order some more energy stacks to be sent to SY's System. SY on the other hand had devises a plan to get closer to XIn Mo without the sword exploding his face off:
Infiltrate Demon Emperor Luo Binghe's palace as a lowly staff member and slowly debug the sword from the inside.
A perfect plan! What could go wrong?
SY selects to warp to a time where Binghe had Xin Mo mostly in control, so it is to no surprise he warps to a place were the Demonic Emperor's Palace is absolutely filled with women. Not the best situation, since a lot of people could and probably would be able to see him, but with that many harem members, it wasn't too much of a stretch to assume there was also a considerable number of staff, which, to SY's luck, there was! In fact, after he managed to activate a disguise for his clothes so they matched the rest of the servants, no one bat an eye on his presence; at most someone would inquire about his short hair, but other than that he was as noteable as a fly.
The first phase of his plan was already a success, so now he had to move on to reconnaissance which was mostly easy and the worst thing in his life. He was mostly looking for Binghe's quarters could be as he probably kept the sword close to him at all times, though with how big the palace was, his objective had gradually shifted to mapping out the labyrinth of halls as much as possible (SY was very glad that the System allowed him to create a map in real time or he might have gotten lost in the first five minutes). He walks so much he even manages to catch a few pieces of gossip, though the most interesting one by far being one about Binghe:
Apparently, a year ago, the Emperor had a qi deviation where, for a day, he seemed to have completely shifted his personality; he refused to touch any of his wives and kept screaming for his long dead Shizun. SY doesn't really remember that plot point, though his wondering is cut short when he hears people walking towards his direction. instinctively he his behind a dark corner, momentarily forgetting that he 'worked' at the palace now.
At list his bad luck was finally turning over as the Golden Protagonist himself walked past him with one of his wives hanging off his arm, looking just as cool as SY had always imagined. He had to snap himself out of his stuppor though, as two things caught his attention: First, Xin Mo was, predictably, strapped to his waist, still glitched but at least the virus seemed more or less contained, which gave SY a bit more time to work, though the other thing he noticed...
Hanging onto an old-looking braid laid SY's missing tassle that Binghe had found for him all the way back at the Conference.
What the hell was Luo Binghe doing wearing that old tassle at this day and age??
A few days passed and the Tassle Incident (as he called it) had to be set aside, as it seemed that passing as a servant also meant that other servants and even some wives expected SY to actually work. Not great, he sucked at cleaning and the other servants spared no words to make it clear to him, but it at least gave him something to do while he waited for his Scissors to arrive. SQH had sent him a few messages saying he'd gotten his part of the deal done, so now all SY could do was monitor Xin Mo's condition (from very far away), and occasionally manually debug some small virus pieces that had fallen from the sword, which luckily were easy enough to deal with that he didn't need to cut them off.
The only thing that was worrying him now is how... odd Luo Binghe seemed. Of course, he was supposed to be the pinnacle of the Cool Guy trope, so some edginess was to be expected, but Binghe didn't look just Edgy, he looked straight up depressed. There were bags under his eyes, and he barely seemed to tolerate the presence of 99% of his wives, and that damned braid with the damned tassle was still there-
Point is, Binghe acting so weird really threw SY through a loop, and he may have gotten a bit careless. At a random day when SY was carrying some dirty laundry another servant had just shoved at him, he had no prior warning before a voice sounded from behind him: "You seem to have dropped something."
He barely managed to shake off the violent sense of deja-vu that had sucker punched him in the face before he realized what was happening; Luo Binghe was talking to him. Directly to him. Shit- shit! Did he notice? Was Binghe doing a clever call back, spider-man style?? Was SY going to die????
SY shakily turns to Binghe, keeping his eyes locked onto the floor, bowing as much as possible that he still seemed respectful but the bag of clothes he had didn't all just fall to the floor. Thankfully Binghe didn't seem to mind, and simply put the fallen piece of clothing on top of the others and walked away. Though, just as SY was regaining his breath, Luo Binghe's voice stops him again. "You... Have we met before?"
SY trembles something about only being hired recently and not having the opportunity to formaly meet Junshang, and it seems to be a decent enough that Binghe just stares at him for a while longer before walking away. He really should grow out his hair if even the Emperor got weirded out like that...
Binghe started eyeing SY way more after that day. The protagonist would rarely speak directly to him, but SY could feel his gaze as if it were burning; though, since Binghe never said anything, SY just assumed that whatever Binghe's problem with him was, it was likely nothing to worry about.
In fact, it probably was because one of Binghe's wives had used SY is an impromptu act to try to get Binghe jealous (he just frowned, separated the two and walked away) and after that she had gotten infatuated with him, so she'd turned SY into her personal servant. Because of that SY saw Binghe at most two times a week instead of the 50% chnace of seeing his shadow once a week. Wow.
Because of this, as much as Binghe noticed SY, SY noticed Binghe as well, the protagonist seeming to get even more down as the days went. The tassle was still braided in his hair (SY worried it was just going to become a lock at this point), his eyebags never seemed to leave his eyes, and he was always muttering about... something. (SY managed to overhear something about 'fairness' and what Binghe actually wanted...?)
It all culminated at a seemingly random night. Most of the wives and servants had gone to sleep, only the more in-human women still hanging around, and SY, of course, but mostly it was because he wanted to see how close he could get to Binghe's quarters (aka Xin Mo) at night. Not that it was necessary, as when he was walking his attention was adruptly caught by the strangest sight: Luo binghe, sitting on one of the stone stair that lead to one of the many courtyards, being absolutely drenched in rain. The weirdest part was that a few servants and wives had also passed this place, and they all seemed like they didn't see Binghe, or didn't care.
Hating to see such an usually proud man (not that he'd seen much of that either) just soaking outside as if he'd just caught the love of his life cheating with another man, SY decided that at least he'd do a good job as a servant and take care of 'his Lord'. He grabs an umbrella from one of the adjacent rooms and slowly walks outside, covering Luo Binghe's form, not really caring if he was also getting soaked.
They stayed silent for who knows how long, but eventually, Binghe's eyes that had been laser focused on the horizon slowly blink once, as if coming out of a trance, and slowly move to SY's face, up to his hand holding the umbrella. "My Lord should get back inside. He'll get sick that way." SY half murmurs.
Binghe doesn't respond, though after a few seconds, his eyes seem to widen a bit and his breath comes out a little shaky. SY doesn't dare comment on it.
"Have we met before?" Luo Binghe asks again.
"...Yes." Shen Yuan says.
Binghe closes his eyes, and they stay like that for another hour.

Youâd always heard the stories: the heiress of a Mafia bossâŚabducted for her fortune and held for ransom. You never believed it could happen to you. After all, you were always careful. Your father had made sure you were constantly surrounded by bodyguards. But nowâŚhere you were. Taken from your own bedroom in the dead of night. Tied up in some random basement. How was this even possible? This was your worst nightmare coming to life.
The coarse fabric of the bag over your head was itchy against your delicate skin. You tried to keep your breathing steady under the material, but your heart was racing with fear and adrenaline. Who were these guys? The weight of the unknown pressed down on you as the men spoke in a foreign language. Their voices were too low to understand, the only word you could make out was a singular curse in Italian. â-Cazzoâ
You tugged at the ropes binding your wrists, the fibers biting into your skin. You tried to steady yourself, Taking yet another deep breath. But the sound of footsteps on the floor startled you. Most of the men left the room but you could hear the sounds of chain jewelry rattling together. You werenât alone.
The bag was finally ripped off your head, revealing none other than Theodore Nott. One of the most notable members of a rival mafia organization. His cold and calculating gaze met yours. He let out a low chuckle while leaning against the brick wall, smoothly crossing one leg over the other. "Well wellâŚwell," His voice mixed with amusement and danger. "Look who we have hereâŚLittle miss heiressâŚ.caught like a rabbit in a trap."
You tried to keep your expression collected, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing you squirm. But you knew that he held all of the cardsâ tall, broad, muscular⌠and handsome. The sharp all black suit he wore only emphasized his intimidating yet seductive presence. "What do you want, Nott?" you gritted out, struggling against the ropes that held your dainty wrists behind the chair.
His lips curled into a cruel smile. "Oh, bellaâŚdon't play dumb with me. You know exactly why I've got you here." Theo paced the room slowly, circling you like a predator sizing up its prey, wanting to play his games with you first. But even if you didnât show it, you were filled with nothing but confusion. Why me? The two of you had never met formally but youâd heard of him of course. You kept quiet at first, squinting your eyes up to his.
"You think your little daddy can protect you?âŚ. Don't be so naive." Theo taunted as His hand reached out to grasp your chin roughly, forcing your gaze to his. That icy stare of his etching into you, for some reason making your heart flutter. What the fuck?
You tried to pull away, but his grip was too strong, his fingers digging into the softness of your face. "Let me go, Nott," you spat, your voice coming out almost growl-like. A rush of four different emotions starting to pump within you. Confusion, anxiety, anger, andâŚarousal. Why the hell am I feeling turned on by this? By him?
Theodore chuckled again, his eyes darkening with malice. "Oh, you're feistyâŚI like that." He released your chin, his hand trailing along your jaw, tracing a path until his thumb brushed over your lower lip. For a split second his cold glare softened as if he was admiring youâŚ.your beauty.
"I bet your father would pay a pretty penny to get you backâŚBut I'm not interested in money. I want something muchâŚmuch more valuable." he murmured, his voice low, hinting with something of danger. Your brows furrowed, once again unsure of where this was heading.
He leaned closer, his face mere inches from yours. You could smell the faint scent of his cologne, something rich and woody. His darkened stare trailed down your neck, lingering on the rapid beating of your pulse. Obviously, you were nervousâŚbut there was something else too. You swallowed hard and tried to keep your voice steady before repeating yourself. âWhatâŚwhat do you want?â
Theodore let his thumb play at your lower lip, caressing it before pulling it away, towering over you. He found this all too amusing as another deep laugh escaped his throat, letting it fade into a sigh. âYou.â He growled out with a need, your eyes widening with surprise. Me? The fuck? Was this really happening? âIâm not under-â Your words were cut off by Theoâs, a smirk tugging on the corner of his lips.
â-Ti voglio, Tesoro.â The Italian slipped through his lips with ease, his smirk only growing wider. But you? You werenât having itâŚnot yet. A brow shot up as annoyance painted your face. âI donât speak Italian, Nott.â You spoke through gritted teeth, trying to keep that power you always held together so well. But It seemed to crumble under his presence. You saw Theodore's jaw clench, clearly getting irritated with your behavior.
âI really have to spell it out for youâŚDonât I, ereditiera?â He shoved his anger down, swallowing it whole for the time being while he teased the Italian nickname for heiress. But still, you were unamused, rolling your eyes in the usual bratty manner. Theo started to pace around you once more, his internal hunger only growing.
ââŚIâŚâ
One of his hands dropped to your exposed shoulder, pushing over the silk strap of your nightgown. But you werenât hating this, not at all. Your gaze following his every movement.
ââŚWantâŚâ
His face grew closer to the crook of your neck, his breath hot on your skin. This sheer move causing goosebumps to prickle down your body. FuckâŚhe was attractiveâŚwould it be so bad?
ââŚYouâŚâ
He finally spoke the truth, the real reason for your abduction. It wasnât for money nor for fortune. It was all for you. You could feel your chest rise and fall with each breath you took while he grazed his hands down your arm, swiftly untying your now bruised wrists. Hissing from the blood flowing back to them you turned your head back to meet his blueish eyes.
âYouâŚ.you want me?â You asked softly, feeling your heart thump against your chest. Theodore bit his lower lip subtly but before he could get another word out, you spoke again, keeping that breathy manner. ââŚIn what way?â You asked him, your eyes flickering up between his. I could escapeâŚrun..but hellâŚnow I donât want to.
âWellâŚI could tell youâŚâ Theo stalked back around to the front of you, his hands trailing across your exposed flesh while he knelt in front of you. Now running his rough hands up your bare thighs, underneath the silk pajama. â-OrâŚI could show youâŚyour choice, Cara Mia.â
With the options he gave you, there was only one choice you wanted. Fucking hell, show me. Nodding your head slowly you felt him start to press kisses up your leg. ââŚShow meâŚâ You whispered as Theo parted your thighs, his gaze met with your leaking cunt. FuckâŚI wasnât wearing any panties.
âGood fucking girl, ereditieraâ
He groaned, his eyes fixated on your pussy finding nothing but perfection in it. He snaked his hand to his back, grabbing his Matte Black pistol and wiggling it in front of you with a mischievous grin. Your heart sunk. Fuck was I wrong about this? Is he going to kill me? Theo could tell you were spiraling in your mind, laughing under his breath and shaking his head. âIâm not going to hurt you with itâŚâ
A sigh of relief freed from your lips but now you were met with confusion again. Then what the fuck is he going to do with a gun? You tilted your head to the side, cocking a brow at him. âThenâŚwhat are-â He cut you off once more, his tongue gliding across the inside of his cheek while he teased the pistol up your inner thigh. âIâm going to fuck you with it.â His tone was alluring, slowly dragging you to the darkest and filthiest places of his mind. And soon enough? Pleasure.
âO-okayâ Choking your words out, you agreed to it. The danger of it fueling the arousal within you. Theo didnât hesitate any longer once you had given him the green light. He teased the muzzle of the gun at your wetness. The cool slick metal causing you to shudder from under it. âBreathe, Tesoro.â He mumbled before slowly pushing the barrel into your entrance, your head tilting back as you took in the foreign object. Inch by inch, he pushed the pistol in deeper just until the trigger touched around your hole.
Theodore dragged the gun in and out of you slowly at first, letting you adjust to the difference. But fuck, your little whimpers were already driving him mad. His lips fell onto your mound, smacking little kisses across it. âHowâs that feel, ereditiera? Howâs it feel being fucked by my gun?â Theo asked in a taunting tone, pumping the barrel faster than before. You never expected to feel this fucking sensational by being fucked with a gun, yet here you were.
âIt feels-Fuck!⌠It feels amazingâŚâ You shuddered, biting back a loud moan just as Theoâs lips found their way to your swollen little bud. Sucking on it with an aching need while he continued to pump that cold metal inside of you, your wetness coating around the black barrel. He could see itâŚfeel itâŚtaste it. The sheer amount of pleasure he was providing you. âI see Iâve found my new addictionâŚ.Cum for me.â Theodore demanded into your soaked flesh, knowing you were on the brink of climax.
The risk of it. The taboo of it. The spontaneity. This was something you could only ever read in books, yet here you were. In a position you could only dream of. The foreign sensation mixed with Theo sucking on your clit like a starved man was sending your body into overdrive. A pulsating, vibrating need coursed through your veins as your body complied with Theoâs words. Your juices spilling onto his gun while he watched it progressively get more soaked. Your moans you tried oh so badly to hide were slipping freely from your lips now.
âThe noises you make are incredibleâŚâ he husked out, his deep voice rugged as he slowly withdrew the pistol. A dragged-out whimper escaped from your throat as the afterglow began to hit you. Theodore stood up, unbuttoning his shirt quickly before letting it drop to expose his chiseled torso. He then moved over to his pants, unbuckling his belt and shuffling them right off, Theoâs massive length popping out fully erect, clearly turned on by what had just happened. He took his cock in his hand, stroking it slowly while his precum coated it. You were still trying to catch your breath, your legs already starting to shake from post-orgasm bliss. ââŚButâŚI want to hear those noises while I destroy you with my cock.â
You threw off your silk nightgown, tossing it to the concrete floor and leaving you fully exposed to Theo. His pupils dilated with desire as he strode toward you. Immediately picking you up as you wrapped your legs around his waist. âP-pleaseâŚ.please fuck me.â You gasped just as he teased the tip of his length at your slick entrance. A groan of approval came out from Theo. He wanted you. Craved you. Needed you.
âI love to hear those sweet lips of yours beg for me.â
With that, he slammed himself deep inside of you. Not giving you any time to adjust to his huge throbbing cock. The feeling was almost spiritual-like, sending you into another dimension of pure ecstasy. Your fingers found their way into his locks, tugging at them teasingly. But Theo fucking loved it, his grunts with each thrust getting louder by the second. âereditieraâŚ.you feel so-cazzoâŚ.so good-so fucking wet and tight for me.â
Your wet walls clenched around his cock as you slammed your lips to his, huffing into each other's mouths at this point. The sounds of groans and slapping of wet skin echoed around the dark basement. This kiss, this sexâŚit was as if it ignited your entire bodies, fusing into one. I have never experienced something like this beforeâŚTheoâs nails dug into the skin of your ass cheeks, helping you bounce on his cock right as he slammed you up against the brick wall. One hand remained on your now marked-up ass but the other snaked its way up to your neck, wrapping around your throat in the perfect amount of pressure. You never understood desire, that was until Theoâs hand was wrapped around your throat.
âT-TheoâŚIâm so close-fuck!âŚ. Can IâŚ.can I please-â Theoâs hand squeezed your throat a bit harder, causing your eyes to roll back. Again right on the edge of your sweet release. âDonât hold backâŚ.finishâŚfor me. Right fucking now.â With that, he tugged his hand away from your throat, bringing it up to give you two slaps across the apples of your cheeks. A yelp grasping from your lips, your moans turning into screams of pleasure. FuckâŚI really liked this..a little too much. Fuck.
Theo railed into you forcefully, his precum already leaking and dripping right along your cervix. He was close too but he wanted you-noâŚ.needed you to finish again. Wanting to see how HE made you feel. The power he held from seeing you squirm, moan, cumâŚ.from him. Your tired body erupted into overwhelming pleasure. Your wetness squirting out onto Theoâs shaft and the sound of it trickling onto the hard floor. âFuckâŚthatâs mia ragazza. Cumming all over me-Fuck!â He growled, pushing his cock as deep as he could inside of you, feeling it throb within your pussy.
A mess, you were a mess. Small little marks covering your body. You were barely hanging onto Theo as he mercilessly pounded into your limp body, not holding back. âIâm going to fill up that juicy little cunt-fill it with my seedâ his voice held that domineering tone that seemed to never stray away, Theodore thrusted inside of you a few more times before jolting himself against your body. Groaning through his gritted teeth as his seed exploded inside of you. Feeling the warmth of it spread and drip out the sides of his dick.
His length slipped out of you with ease, his sticky cum slowly dripping between your thighs before he shifted you over in his arms to carry you bridal style. He had worn you out and it was evident by your body's reaction. He stroked your hair, brushing it out of your face while he walked you two to a nearby bathroom. âFully mineâŚYou are fully mine now. Marked up by meâŚfilled by my seed. Mine.â He whispered but those once cold eyes seemed to soften as he fixated his gaze on yours.
Theo wanted to care for you now, making sure you were alright. But at those words you couldnât help but lazily smile, hearing the sound of water pebbling before he helped you into the marble walk-in shower. âAm I?â You teased slowly as you felt the hot water bead down your body, even tired, showing that bratty side that Theo oh so adored. He chuckled, grabbing some soap as he helped clean you up. Carefully tracing his hands around your entire body, taking his time to not miss a single section and to also provide you with relaxation. âYes, ereditieraâŚ.You are.â
Perhaps you had been taken, kidnapped against your willâŚ.but slowly you were starting to see Theodore Nott in a new light. He had a softness to him. A yearning to protect you, to please you, to be with you. For now, he may have taken you sexually, giving you a desire for new things you couldn't even fathom before, butâŚsoon enough he would also take your heart.

Relentless Conqueror [Sylus/Reader â
1790 words â
Masterlist â
Series Index â
AO3] To be wedded to the strongest warrior in the village was an honor and a blessing. A/N: I saw someone specified that Sylus is dressed as a Mongolian wrestler in the new memory. I am so excited for it, but umâŚthis fic has absolutely nothing to do with that. My mind just swerved completely off-course the moment I saw this man manhandling us again lmao AndâŚyeahâŚthis is based on this post I made earlier. Still in my â¨shameful Sylus posting era⨠đ
In the wide-open plane of the grassland, everything could be heard for miles all around. Stretched across the vast expanse, one area was occupied by numerous huts making up a small but thriving village.
Within the village, everyone had a role. The elders guided and led the villagers with their years of wisdom. The men were providers, hunters, and warriors while the women sustained the community and reared the children who would one day take over, thus continuing this cycle of life.
You were no exception. It was time for you to take your place among others with the new role you were about to take.
Fortune had smiled down upon you. Hushed whispers wove through the village, going from mouth to mouth, passing loose lips after loose lips, before the news finally reached you.
Sylus had chosen you to be his bride.
To be chosen by the strongest warrior in the village to be his bride was an honor bestowed only on you. He would provide you with a life of comfort and in turn, you were to bear him strong children. Many of the other maidens envied you, wanting to covet your place, to steal him away from you.
However, Sylus was truly the epitome of the ideal warrior: Large, strong, and imposing. He was unyielding on the battlefield, and he was unyielding in his decisions.
Of all the maidens who had crossed his path, only one had managed to ensnare him, to captivate him like no others.
You.
It was a prosperous union witnessed in a lavish ceremony by the entire village, cheered to be blessed by the gods themselves. A true match made in Heaven, many declared, as the wedding ceremony ended and the celebration began.
Arm linked with your new husband, you greeted and thanked the well-wishers, watching with wonders as everyone feasted and drank to your marriage. The merriment started from morning and continuing well into the late night. After nightfall had descended, Sylus led you away from the celebration. No one noticed the absence of the bride and groom, too drunk on alcohol and the festivities to even be aware of their surroundings.
Sylus whisked you away to his quiet hut, far from the music, laughter, and cheers. He towered over you, holding aside the curtain at the entryway to allow you entrance. As you entered, you could see the hut had been prepped for the wedding night.
It was a very comfortable living space, more extravagant than many of the other villagersâ homes. You barely had a moment to fully take in the sight of your new home before Sylus swept you off your feet, cradled in his arms as he carried you to his bed. He laid you down on fur, your beauty illuminated by the lamps within the hut. You could still hear the residual laughter and chatters outside as the rest of the villagers continued in their merriment celebrating this union.
âPay them no heed,â Sylus ordered, grasping your chin firmly and forcing your sight on him. âTonight, and for the rest of our lives, you are mine.â
He kissed you roughly, not minding your inexperience. It pleased him that your chasteness meant you were untouched, meant that he would have the sole honor of claiming you.
He disrobed his blushing bride, guiding your nimble hands to his toned body, letting you touched upon his firm muscles, feel the heat from his body. One by one, accessories fell, clinking and clanking on the ground. Then, his own ceremonial garments were discarded, tossed carelessly to the side and leaving him bare and nude, your eyes feasting on the wonderous sight of your new husband.
You swallowed slowly, feeling the gentle flutters of butterflies in your belly. He smirked at your nervousness. One hand cupped your cheek, pulling you closer to him. You whimpered when he claimed your lips again, his large body overpowering you in seconds. He had you spread beneath him, his own body looming over yours and keeping you trapped under him. He cupped your sex, startling you as his long, slender fingers worked into your folds.
You let out a sharp gasp, fingers finding their way into his hair, and tugging at him nervously.
âRelax,â he ordered, âYouâre not ready for me yet.â
He was well-endowed, his size intimidating, and you unconsciously clenched, only realizing when you heard Sylusâ deep chuckle. You blushed crimson, but your embarrassment soon passed the moment you felt Sylus working his fingers in and out of you.
âAhââ Your hips moved on their own, desperately meeting his thrusts, wanting more, just a bit more. Your toes curled, body tensing up when you felt his thumb brushing against something that was causing you to jolt in pleasure. âM-moreâŚSylusâŚpleaseâŚâ
âYou like that, sweetie?â
You nodded numbly, your voice coming out breathless. âYesâŚpleaseâŚmy husband.â
You didnât see the way Sylusâ eyes gleamed in satisfaction, didnât hear his quick intake of breath over your own helpless moans. He smirked.
He seized your mouth again, taking in your startled cries, his fingers slipping in and out of your wet folds faster and faster. âMy brideâmy wifeâŚâ he murmured back, nipping and sucking greedily, âYouâre so wet now, sweetieâŚDo you feel good?â
You sobbed and cried as his fingers curled inside. There was a tightening in your belly. You called out to him, scared. âSyâSylusâŚâ
He shushed you gently. âCome for me.â
You clenched around his fingers, your cries filling the room. Sylusâ smirk widened as he watched you come undone by his fingers alone. He kissed your lips, praising you softly as you panted and sobbed. You barely recovered when he withdrew his fingers, his length taking place.
You bucked in surprise, eyes widening. âSy-Sylus, noâŚâ
âYou are ready for me, my bride,â he assured. He pressed forward and you gripped a handful of the fur throw beneath you, your sensitive body feeling suddenly overstimulated by the massive intrusion taking place. Impossibly big, you thought, as your walls stretched around his thick length, taking him in slowly through much pain. He barely comforted you, seemingly enjoying the sight of you gasping and moaning as you were getting stuffed by him. His soft pants grew shallower, his eyes darkened with desire as he watched his beloved new bride taking him in inch by inch.
He praised you over and over once he was fully sheathed inside you, his deep voice comforting you in that moment. âYouâre doing so well,â he said, voice thick with desire, âI have chosen the perfect wife.â
You felt a warmth in your belly, his praise filling you with unexpected joy. âSylusâŚâ
He smirked.
He took you brutally, riding you as rough and hard like his faithful steed. You wept and sobbed as his powerful thrusts reached that euphoric spot that had you writhing and moaning, begging him for more and more of this sweet, agonizing pleasure. You had never known the touch of a man before this night, and from this moment onwards, Sylus made sure you never will. He was going to make sure your body learned that you were his, craved only him, and only satisfied by him.
He was wrecking you, ruining you. You moaned as his large hand covered your flat belly. âYou better prepare yourself, my bride,â he husked, âthe women in my family only bear large children.â
You trembled, unsure if what you were feeling was fear or otherwise. He slipped his hands under you, groping and grabbing your buttocks and lifting you off the bed, your legs instinctively wrapped around his waist. Immediately, your head lolled to the side, your moans resounded within the private space as you felt him penetrating you deeply, his pacing still unrelenting and unforgiving. This new angle had you calling out to him needily, feeling the second climax approaching fast.
CloserâŚand closerâŚand closerâ
âDear godsâŚâ he groaned as you came undone again, your walls squeezing tightly around his cock. He pressed you back into the bed, letting you ride out your high as he chased after his. His hand grasped yours, pressing them deeper into the bedding.
âGonna fuck my child into you,â he grunted, his hips slapping against yours, âGonna breed you, have you heavy with my baby in your womb.â
He fondled your breast, massaging it roughly under his calloused hand. His mouth was close to yours, his hot, humid breath fanned over your lips. âGonna have you swell, gonna have you bear me sons and daughters over and over againâŚâ
Your legs locked around his waist, pulling him in closer to his surprise. He smirked. His hand reached out to brush your hair out of your sweat-slicked face. He leaned in closer, kissing you briefly, and then he asked, âDid you like the sound of that, my bride? Do you like what I am saying? Do you like knowing this is your role from now on? To bear my children over and over again?â
âYââ you bit down on your bottom lip, embarrassed.
âSay it,â he demanded, thrusting in harder, eliciting more of your sweet cries.
He held you close and you sobbed into his shoulder, arms wrapped around his neck as you felt him still pounding into your pussy. âYesâŚYesâŚ!â you cried out, clinging to him, âI want your babyâŚI want to have all of your babies, Sylus!â
âFuckâs sakeâŚâ His eyes squeezed shut, feeling you come again already. This time, he also felt his own climax, felt himself pumping hot into you. He groaned again, âTake every last drop, sweetie.â
You felt so impossibly full, his seed flooding your womb. There was not a doubt in your head that this union wouldnât be fruitful. You were going to carry his baby, bear him large, strong sonsâfuture warriors to carry on his legacy.
âMy bride, my beautiful bride,â he murmured, lavishing you in his sweet kisses as he pulled out. He gazed down at you, taking in the sight of your flushed cheeks and doe eyes staring back at him. He hummed softly, his lips finding yours again, his large hand interlocking with yours.
âMine.â
Beyond the hut, the celebration continued. Laughter and singing continued well into the late night, but within this hut, there was only the labored breathing, desperate gasps and pleased moans filling the space for hours on end. Time seemed to have slowed down, the world quieting.
He took you, claimed you over and over again. Your body was his, and his was yours. From this day and onwards, in this life and all of the lifetimes to come, you were his bride, the only one capable of stealing the heart of the feared conqueror of the grassland.

/á Ëľ> Ë <Ëľă
You weren't best friends with your brother. As siblings, you had a tendency to bicker, picking fights over the smallest thingsâwhose turn it was to set the table, who had borrowed whose stuff without asking. It was just how things were, and neither of you made much effort to change that. So when the Hogwarts acceptance letters arrived for the both of you, the thought of being sorted into the same house made you cringe.
You couldnât imagine anything worse than sharing a common room with him, dealing with his sarcastic comments every day, or worse, being seen together like you were⌠friends. Fortunately, fate, or the Sorting Hat, was on your side. He ended up in one house, and you in another. The relief was instant. You thought that would be the end of it, and the two of you would drift along separate paths without much need to cross each otherâs.
At least, thatâs what you thought until you saw one of his friends.
It was always by chanceâmaybe you were walking through the courtyard or passing through the Great Hallâbut there he was, standing next to your brother, laughing with that damn dimpled smile. His laugh was low and smooth, something that caught your ear and refused to let go. Your gaze lingered longer than youâd care to admit, taking in the confident way he leaned against the stone wall, the way his eyes sparkled with mischief.
And you couldnât help but wonder why your brother, of all people, got to be friends with him.
You didnât really mean to end up meeting your brotherâs friendâdefinitely not after youâd spent years pointedly ignoring their group whenever you saw them in the halls. But here you were, sitting in the library with your brother, who had been pestering you for daysâbegging, reallyâabout helping him in Transfiguration. At first, you ignored him, telling him to figure it out on his own like everyone else.
He had struggled with some spell that McGonagall had been drilling the class on, and though you initially refused (because who really wanted to give up their free time to help their sibling?), his relentless begging finally wore you down.
"Okay, okay, fine!" you had snapped. "Iâll help you, just stop whining about it."
Now, watching your brother fail the same transformation for the tenth time, you were starting to regret your decision. "No, youâre flicking your wand too fast," you muttered, rubbing your temple. "Itâs not a race, slow down and say the incantation clearly."
He groaned, clearly frustrated. "I am doing it right! Youâre just a bad teacher!"
You shot him a sharp look, your patience already worn thin from the past hour of back-and-forth bickering. "Oh really? So itâs my fault you canât turn a teacup into a tortoise?"
He slumped further into the chair, muttering under his breath while absentmindedly tapping his quill against the desk. You narrowed your eyes at him, watching as he lazily flicked through his notes without even looking at you.
âAre you even paying attention?â you snapped, crossing your arms. âOr is this just a waste of both our time?â
He shrugged, not even bothering to lift his head. "Iâm trying! Itâs not like youâre explaining it any better than Professor McGonagall does."
You sighed, rubbing the bridge of your nose in frustration. "Maybe if you focused for five seconds instead of acting like this is some kind of joke, youâd actually get it."
He shot you a glare, the frustration clearly mutual. "Maybe if you werenât so bossy, I wouldnât have to!"
"Youâre the one who begged me for help!" you snapped back. "If you donât want it, just say so and Iâll leave."
For a second, there was silence between you, both of you glaring at each other.
âHey, sorry to barge in. I didnât know youâd be here.â
You looked up, and there he was - Yang Jungwon. He was standing next to your brother, a relaxed grin on his face as if he hadnât just disrupted the painfully slow progress of your study session.
Your brother immediately perked up. âOh, hey, Jungwon! Iâll be done in like⌠five minutes?â he said, casting a hopeful glance at you.
Jungwonâs eyes flickered over to you, curiosity lighting them up. âOh, I didnât know you had a tutor,â he teased, sliding into the chair opposite yours without waiting for an invitation.
You opened your mouth to retort that you werenât a tutor, but your brother jumped in first. âYeah, lucky me, right?â he said, grinning cheekily, ignoring the way you glared at him.
Jungwon chuckled softly, leaning back as though he had all the time in the world. âIâm Yang Jungwon, by the way,â he said, his gaze finally locking onto yours, and you couldnât help but notice the warmth in his voice.
âYeah, I know,â you replied, trying to sound indifferent but feeling a little thrown off. You hadnât expected him to show up here of all places.
âSo, what are you two studying? Transfiguration, right?â Jungwon asked, glancing at the textbook.
âTrying to,â you said, emphasizing the word as you shot a look at your brother. âThough, heâs not exactly the best student.â
Jungwon laughed, the sound easy and light, and you found yourself listening a little too closely. âIâm sure youâre doing fine. You always manage, donât you?â he teased your brother, though his eyes kept flickering back to you. There was something in his gazeâcuriosity, maybe, or amusementâthat made it hard to look away.
You tried to refocus on your brother, but the atmosphere had shifted with Jungwonâs presence. And your brother seemed all too happy to let the tutoring session come to an abrupt end. Before you realized what was happening, he had packed up his things, slipping his quill and parchment into his bag with quick, practiced movements.
âWaitâhey, weâre not done,â you said, standing up from your seat, your voice carrying more frustration than intended.
Your brother shot you a cheeky grin, already halfway out the door with Jungwon by his side. âIâll finish it eventually!" he called back, not even glancing over his shoulder.
You opened your mouth to protest further, but it was too late. The door shut with a soft click, and the sounds of their fading footsteps echoed down the hallway. You let out an exasperated sigh, sinking back into your chair, the weight of unfinished work settling on your shoulders.
Just as you were about to lay your head on the desk in defeat, you caught sight of Madam Pince, walking by with her usual stern expression. She stopped next to your table, clutching a book in her hands. âItâs a struggle, isnât it?â she said, her voice softer than expected, though there was an unmistakable air of disapproval about her.
You blinked at her, still frustrated. âYeah, something like that.â
Without another word, she handed you a thick, worn-out book youâd requested earlierâone you had specifically asked for to help your brother with his Transfiguration problems. The irony wasnât lost on you as you stared at the cover.
"Hereâs the book you asked for," Madam Pince added. "I hope it helps."
"Thanks," you muttered, though your enthusiasm had drained. The moment she left, you groaned and let your head fall onto the desk with a thud.
Typical. Your brother was off having fun while you were stuck with the work he was supposed to be doing. Just your luck.

The next day, you headed to the courtyard, spotting your brother lounging with a group of his friendsâJungwon included. You took a deep breath, trying to suppress the irritation bubbling up as you approached. In your hand was a rolled-up assignment for Transfiguration that he had yet to complete, and you werenât about to let him get away with neglecting it.
âHey,â you said, walking up to the group and dropping the assignment on his lap. âYou need to finish this by tomorrow, or Professor McGonagallâs going to have your head.â
Your brother groaned dramatically but grabbed the parchment anyway. You were about to turn and leave when you noticed some of his friends eyeing you, their teasing smiles quickly making you uncomfortable.
âHey, Y/Nâ one of them said with a sly grin. âWhy havenât we seen you around more? You should join us sometime.â
Another chimed in, leaning in slightly. âYeah, maybe we could get to know you better. Bet youâre a lot more fun than your brother.â
You rolled your eyes, already tired of their attempts. But before you could respond, your brother cut in sharply. âOi, knock it off. Sheâs off-limits,â he said, his tone protective. âNo guyâs good enough for her.â
As much as you appreciated his overprotective attitude sometimes, this was one of those moments when it was more annoying than endearing. You crossed your arms and shot him a pointed look. âExcuse me? I decide when I want a boyfriend, and I sure donât need your approval.â
He scoffed, leaning back as if he had the upper hand. âYeah, well, you canât just pick any random guy. Iâm only looking out for you.â
You raised an eyebrow, your annoyance growing. âLooking out for me? Youâre just trying to scare off everyone. I can handle myself, thank you very much.â
The bickering began to escalate, the two of you going back and forth as his friends watched with barely concealed amusement. It wasnât until Jungwon, who had been watching quietly, stood up and approached that the argument came to an abrupt halt.
âAlright, thatâs enough of that,â Jungwon said with a calm smile, but there was a glint of amusement in his eyes. He grabbed your wrist, gently but firmly. âIâm walking her to her next class.â
You blinked, momentarily caught off guard, but before you could protest, he was already leading you away from the group. âYouâwait, whatââ
âTrust me,â he interrupted smoothly, glancing at you with that same easy smile, âyouâll thank me later.â
You reluctantly let him guide you through the courtyard, your brotherâs protests fading behind you. As you neared the Charms classroom, Jungwon slowed his pace, releasing your wrist and turning to face you.
âWell, here we are,â he said, his smile softening. Then, with a teasing tone, he added, âThough if you want me to walk you to class more often, all you have to do is ask.â
You raised an eyebrow, feeling your face heat up slightly at the unexpected flirtation. âVery smooth,â you muttered, trying to sound unimpressed, though the small smile tugging at your lips betrayed you.
Jungwon grinned, taking a step back. âI aim to please. See you around.â And with a casual wave, he walked off, leaving you standing at the door, your heart racing just a little faster than before.
The day after, you found out your brother had failed his Transfiguration lessonâagain. Much to your dismay, you heard about it through one of his friends who casually mentioned it in passing, as though it was no big deal.
When you finally confronted him in the courtyard, his response was as nonchalant as ever.
âI failed, so what?â he said, leaning back and shrugging. âIâll figure it out eventually. Itâs just one lesson.â
You crossed your arms, glaring at him. âYou do realize that if you fail again, Professor McGonagall will send a letter to our parents, right?â
That seemed to get his attention, but only for a moment. He still didnât look particularly bothered, which only made your frustration grow.
âAnd,â you continued, eyes narrowing, âyou wonât be allowed to continue playing Quidditch.â
His expression changed instantly, the casual attitude melting away as panic settled in. âWait, what?â
You smirked slightly, leaning in as if to drive the point home. âYeah. You think professor McGonagallâs going to let you get away with failing and still keep your spot on the team? Good luck with that.â
Your brother sat up straight, the reality of the situation sinking in. âButâQuidditch is⌠I canâtââ He ran a hand through his hair, looking genuinely worried now. âIf I canât play Quidditch, Iâll lose my spot for next year, and⌠and Mum and Dad will kill me if they find out Iâve been failing.â
You raised an eyebrow, enjoying the shift in power. âSo maybe you shouldâve taken our last session a little more seriously, huh?â
He shot you a desperate look, his usual bravado nowhere to be found. âAlright, fine! I get it. I messed up.â
You tilted your head, waiting for the inevitable.
âI need your help,â he admitted, his voice quieter now. âI canât afford to fail again, not with Quidditch on the line.â
You were just about to refuseâafter all, you had warned him plenty of times before. But before you could get the words out, he pleaded, âNo distractions this time. No friends, no tricks. Just me, focused, I swear. Please.â
You paused, arms crossed as you studied him. His expression was serious, and the desperation in his eyes was hard to ignore. It was a rare sightâyour brother begging for your help without any sarcasm or half-hearted promises.
âI donât know,â you said, pretending to think it over. âWhatâs in it for me?â
He groaned but quickly recovered, realizing this was his last shot. âAnything! Iâll do anything you ask, alright? Just⌠please.â
You smiled smugly, relishing the moment. âAnything, huh?â
He nodded frantically, looking like heâd sell his soul at this point if it meant saving his Quidditch spot.
âAlright,â you said, a slow grin spreading across your face. âIâll help you⌠but Iâll be cashing in on that âanythingâ promise sooner or later.â
He sighed in relief, though there was a hint of hesitation in his expression. âFine, whatever you want.â
You smirked, feeling the upper hand. âDeal.â
True to his word, your brother showed up to the library that evening, looking more focused than youâd ever seen him when it came to schoolwork. He set his books and wand down on the table, already prepared to start, though you could still sense a bit of reluctance in his posture.
âAlright,â you said, sitting across from him and opening the Transfiguration book to the chapter on animal transformations. âNo distractions. No shortcuts. Youâre going to get this right if itâs the last thing I do.â
He nodded, swallowing hard. âIâll try.â
You pulled out a teacup, placing it in front of him as you tapped your fingers on the table. âOkay, you know the incantation. Focus on the form of the animal, not just the spell. Visualize it fully.â
He sighed, gripping his wand tightly. âI know, I know. Itâs just⌠hard.â
âNot an excuse,â you said, not letting him off the hook. âGo on.â
He took a deep breath, aiming his wand at the teacup. âVera Verto.â
The teacup shook slightly, wobbling on the table before it started to change shapeâslowly, very slowly. For a moment, it seemed like he might actually do it. But just as the teacup began to take the form of a small tortoise, it reverted back to its original state with a sharp clink.
He groaned, slumping back in his chair. âSee? I canât do it.â
âYouâre close,â you said, keeping your voice calm even though you were starting to get frustrated too. âYouâre overthinking the spell. Donât rush itâfocus on the animalâs form.â
He sat up straighter, taking a deep breath. âOkay, okay⌠letâs try again.â
Over the next hour, you guided him through the steps again and again, watching as he triedâand failedârepeatedly to get the teacup to fully transform. Each time, it got closer, but never quite there. Either the tortoise would have an odd shape, or the spell would falter halfway through.
Your patience started wearing thin, but you pushed through, determined to help him succeed.
âLook,â you said, leaning over the table and pointing at the page in the book. âYouâre rushing the incantation. Break it down, slower this time.â
He nodded, taking your advice seriously for once. He aimed his wand at the teacup again, this time speaking the spell more carefully, enunciating each word with deliberate focus. âVera Verto.â
The teacup quivered again, its edges shifting into a shell. Slowly, the handle morphed into a tiny, clawed foot. You both watched as the tortoiseâs form finally solidified. A small, slow-moving tortoise now sat on the table, blinking up at you.
Your brotherâs face lit up in surprise, his mouth falling open. âI did it?â
You couldnât help but smile, despite yourself. âYou actually did it.â
He beamed, picking up the tortoise carefully as if he couldnât believe it. âFinally! Merlinâs beard, I didnât think Iâd ever get it.â
âYeah, well,â you said, leaning back in your chair, âyou only got there because I was a great teacher.â
He snorted, setting the tortoise back on the table. âYeah, yeah, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night.â
You raised an eyebrow, playfully swatting him on the arm. âDonât push your luck. Remember, you still owe me for this.â
He winced, but a grin tugged at his lips. âAlright, alright.â
You smirked, already plotting.
The next day, your brother returned from his Transfiguration class with a huge grin plastered on his face. He practically burst into the Grand Hall, eyes alight with excitement, and you knew immediately that something had gone well.
âI did it!â he exclaimed, rushing over to where you were seated. âI actually did it!â
You raised an eyebrow, setting your book aside. âWait, you actually passed?â
âNot just passed,â he said, standing tall, practically puffing out his chest. âI nailed it! McGonagall didnât even have to correct me once. She even said it was one of the best transformations in class!â
You couldnât help but laugh at how giddy he looked, the tension from the past few days completely gone from his shoulders. âIâm impressed. I didnât think youâd pull it off, honestly.â
âHey, Iâm not that hopeless,â he shot back, but his smile stayed wide and bright. âBut seriously, thanks to you. If you hadnât made me practice all those times, Iâd still be failing.â
You smirked, giving him a mock-salute. âWell, thatâs what good teachers do. And, you know, you can keep playing Quidditch now, so I guess thatâs a bonus.â
At the mention of Quidditch, his excitement seemed to double. âYes! Merlin, if I had to quit the team, Iâd be dead. Thereâs no way Iâm telling Mum and Dad that I failed Transfiguration and got kicked off the team.â
You chuckled, watching him bounce on his feet like an overexcited first-year. âWell, you donât have to worry about that anymore. Now you can focus on your matches without McGonagall breathing down your neck.â
He nodded eagerly, practically vibrating with joy. âExactly! I canât wait for the next practice. Iâm going to crush it.â
You shook your head, amused at how his mood had completely flipped from just a few days ago. âJust remember to keep up with your studies, alright? Iâm not going to bail you out every time you forget to do your homework.â
He gave you a mock pout. âWhat, youâre not going to tutor me forever?â
âNot a chance,â you said, laughing. âIâve got my own work to focus on. Youâll just have to survive on your own from now on.â
He groaned dramatically but was clearly too happy to complain for real. âFine, fine. But seriously, thanks. I owe you big time.â
You grinned, leaning back in your chair. âIâll hold you to that.â
As he ran off to tell his friends the good news, you couldnât help but feel a little proud of him. Despite all the bickering and the endless complaints, he had finally pulled it off. And, in a way, it felt like a win for both of you.

The courtyard was buzzing with students enjoying a rare free afternoon, and your brother, now full of confidence from his recent success in Transfiguration, had taken it upon himself to show off his newfound skills. With a small group gathered around him, he cast spell after spell, transforming objects into animals with exaggerated flair. He was basking in the attention, especially from his friends, who cheered every time he succeeded.
"Watch this!" your brother said proudly, aiming his wand at a stray quill. âVera Verto!â
The quill shifted into a small, fluffy rabbit, hopping around on the cobblestone, much to the crowdâs delight. He grinned, feeling invincible now that he had McGonagallâs praise under his belt. Emboldened, he attempted another transformation, but his next spell shot out of his wand faster than he anticipated. It veered wildly across the courtyard, completely missing the intended target.
The errant spell flew in an arc, headed straight for the far end of the courtyard where Jungwon had just been walking, completely unaware of the chaotic show your brother was putting on. Before anyone could react, the spell hit Jungwon square in the back.
In a flash, the Hufflepuff boy wasnât standing there anymore.
Instead, a small black cat with bright, intelligent eyes stood in his place, looking confused for a split second. Jungwonâor rather, the cat that had been Jungwonâflicked his tail and darted away before anyone in the crowd could notice the commotion. He vanished between the hedges that lined the courtyard, disappearing into the maze of gardens beyond.
Your brother stood frozen for a moment, his eyes wide as he realized what had happened. One of his friends nudged him, oblivious to the seriousness of the situation. "Nicely done! What did you hit this time?"
âUhâŚâ he stammered, looking in the direction where Jungwon had been, but the cat was long gone. âI think I mightâve just⌠hit someone.â
One of the other students burst into laughter, thinking it was part of the fun. âWhat, you turned someone into a rabbit again?â
Your brother didnât laugh. âNo. Worse. I think I just turned Jungwon into a cat.â
The laughter around him died down quickly as the reality of what heâd done began to settle in. âWhat do you mean, a cat?â one of his friends asked, their tone becoming more serious.
But before your brother could respond, he was already hurrying toward the edge of the courtyard, scanning the area where Jungwon had disappeared. âWe have to find him before anyone else does!â he muttered to himself, a growing sense of dread filling him.
However, Jungwonâor the catâwas nowhere in sight. He had bolted the moment the spell hit, and now he had vanished without a trace, leaving your brother to deal with the consequences of his reckless display.
The problem was, turning someone into an animal was one thingâbut reversing it? That was a whole different level of Transfiguration.
Your brother searched frantically, darting around the courtyard and calling out for Jungwon. âJungwon! Where are you?â he shouted, a note of desperation creeping into his voice. The laughter from his friends had faded, replaced by concerned murmurs as they began to realize the seriousness of the situation.
He sprinted around the corner where Jungwon had vanished, scanning every nook and cranny, every shadow cast by the towering castle walls. âCome on, this isnât funny!â he pleaded, hoping that maybe, just maybe, Jungwon would pop out from behind a bush or the edge of a statue, ready to reveal that it had all been a prank.
But Hogwarts was vast, and as the minutes stretched on, the reality began to sink in. Jungwonânow a catâhad disappeared without a trace. Your brother ran a hand through his hair, panic rising within him. He couldn't afford to get caught for this.
Turning back to his friends, he lowered his voice, urgency clear in his tone. âOkay, listen. You canât say anything about this. If any professors find out Jungwon is missing, weâll all be in trouble. We need to find him before anyone notices.â
His friends exchanged worried glances but nodded in agreement. They understood how serious the situation was. âRight,â one of them said, trying to lighten the mood, though the tension was palpable. âLetâs just act like weâre studying for the next couple of hours. If we canât find Jungwon, maybe heâll come back on his own.â
Your brother nodded, but doubt gnawed at him. What if he didnât? He felt responsibleâif he hadnât been so eager to show off, Jungwon wouldnât have been turned into a cat in the first place. âWeâll check all the usual spots,â he said, determination sparking in his eyes. âHe might head for the Hufflepuff common room or the kitchens.â
They split up, your brother retracing his steps back through the castle, checking every corner, every common area, and even asking other students if theyâd seen a small black cat. But the castle was sprawling and labyrinthine; the longer he searched, the more overwhelmed he felt.
As the minutes turned into an hour, frustration bubbled up inside him. âThis is pointless!â he muttered under his breath, leaning against a wall in a deserted corridor. âHow could I let this happen?â
After another fruitless round, he finally returned to the courtyard, panting slightly. His friends were gathered in a huddle, whispering amongst themselves, and he felt a flicker of hope. âDid you find anything?â
One of his friends shook his head. âNo sign of him anywhere. Itâs like he just vanished.â
Your brother sighed, frustration and guilt mingling in his chest. âIf we donât find him soon, itâs only a matter of time before someone notices heâs missing from class. Professor McGonagall will have our heads.â
Just then, a flicker of movement caught his eye. He turned, but it was only a crow flitting across the courtyard, cawing loudly. Your brotherâs heart sank. Hogwarts was just too big; how could he possibly find Jungwon in a castle that could swallow whole entire groups of students?
With a defeated expression, he sank onto a bench, burying his face in his hands. âWhat am I going to do? I didnât mean for this to happen.â
His friends joined him, unsure of how to comfort him. âWeâll figure it out,â one of them said, trying to reassure him. âWe just need to keep looking.â
But deep down, your brother couldnât shake the feeling that they were running out of time. He was the one responsible for turning Jungwon into a cat.
/á Ëľ> Ë <Ëľă
You were sitting on the ground near the edge of the Hogwarts grounds, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the courtyard. The view was peaceful, and with a gentle breeze rustling the trees around you, it felt like a perfect moment to relax with your book.
Just as you settled into the first chapter, a small rustling sound caught your attention.. You looked up, surprised to see a small black cat making its way toward you, its greenish-gold eyes trained intently on you. The cat was sleek, with a slight glimmer to its fur under the sunlight, and it moved gracefully, weaving through the grass until it was at your feet.
âHey there, little one,â you murmured, smiling as the cat sat down, regarding you with an almost curious gaze. Without hesitation, it leaped into your lap, settling down with a soft, contented purr.
The book forgotten, you brought a hand up to stroke its head, running your fingers gently over its soft fur. The catâs purring grew louder, and it nestled into you, pressing its tiny head against your hand as if asking for more.
âWell, arenât you a friendly one?â you said, chuckling as it leaned into your touch. You hadnât expected it, but this little black cat was endearing itself to you quickly. Every time you paused in your petting, it would nudge its head under your hand, practically demanding more affection.
You laughed, charmed by the catâs insistence. âAlright, alright, you win. More pets it is,â you murmured, resuming your gentle strokes.
The cat sprawled out across your lap, stretching its small limbs and settling back down with a sigh, its eyes half-closed as it drifted into a state of utter relaxation.
Minutes slipped by as you sat there, the black cat curled up happily in your lap, and any thoughts of returning to your book faded completely. âWhatâs a cat like you doing out here all by yourself?â you asked softly, smiling as it nudged its head up to meet your gaze. The cat simply blinked at you, its eyes clear and bright, before it began to purr even louder, pressing its small paws against your legs in a way that was almost⌠human-like.
You let out a small laugh, rubbing your thumb over the top of its head. âAlright, alright, youâre stealing all my attention,â you murmured. âI should be reading, but youâre just too cute.â The cat looked up at you with an expression that almost seemed like a smirk before closing its eyes again, purring louder than ever.
With a contented sigh, you leaned back against the tree, unaware that youâd just found Jungwonâand that he was thoroughly enjoying your company.
Eventually, the afternoon sun began to dip lower, and you knew it was time to return to the castle. With a sigh, you shifted in your seat, giving the cat a gentle nudge to encourage it off your lap.
âAlright, little one. I have to get back,â you murmured. The cat gave a low, disappointed-sounding meow, but leapt gracefully onto the ground as you stood. Just as you turned to gather your things, however, the cat started to weave between your ankles, pawing at your robes with insistent little meows.
You tried taking a step, but the cat was immediately at your heels, pressing against your leg as though it had no intention of letting you leave. When you moved forward, it darted up and batted playfully at your robes, trying to climb up and cling on as you walked.
âOh, Merlin, you really donât want me to go, do you?â you muttered, bending down to scoop the cat into your arms. As soon as you lifted it, it relaxed, its head nuzzling against your neck as it purred deeply, seeming more than content to be carried. You couldnât help but smile, feeling the soft fur warm against your skin and the gentle tickle of its whiskers along your throat.
âAlright, you can come with me,â you said with a soft chuckle, the catâs wide eyes blinking up at you as though it fully understood. You held it securely, feeling the vibrations of its purring as it squished its head into the crook of your neck. It was surprisingly calming, and you found yourself enjoying the quiet presence of this affectionate little creature as you made your way back through the castle halls.
By the time you reached your common room, you had half a mind to keep it, especially as it snuggled closer, its whiskers brushing against your chin. âIâll have to find your owner,â you whispered, though the cat gave no sign it wanted to leave your arms any time soon.
With a sigh, you stepped into the common room, glancing around at your fellow housemates and wondering if any of them had ever seen this black cat before. But as you felt the warmth of its tiny body snuggled against you, part of you wasnât in any hurry to hand it over.
As you asked around the common room, you realized none of your housemates recognized the little black cat nestled in your arms. Some shrugged, while others asked to pet it, and each time you shook your head, a small part of you felt a guilty spark of relief. No one knew where it had come from, and no one seemed to be looking for it.
With the sky darkening outside and a long day behind you, you headed up to your dorm to change, gently setting the cat down as you pulled on your coziest clothes. No sooner had you settled onto your bed than the cat leapt up, its movements silent and smooth. It padded around your blankets, kneading the fabric with its tiny paws and purring so loudly you couldnât help but smile.
âOh, no, noâif the house-elves find fur on the bed, theyâll be madâ you muttered, making a half-hearted attempt to shoo the cat off your bed. But when it turned and met your gaze, its bright eyes watching you with an innocent curiosity, you found yourself softening. The cat tilted its head, curling up against your side, its eyes half-closed as if perfectly content in your presence.
âFine, you can stay,â you sighed, scooting over to make a little more room. The cat wasted no time, settling down right next to you and resting its tiny head on the blanket as if it belonged there.
With each slow, deep rumble of its purr, a calmness settled over you. You rested a hand lightly on its back, feeling the softness of its fur under your fingers. Soon, its gentle kneading softened, and the rhythmic rise and fall of its breathing lulled you into a state of relaxation.
Just as your eyes were beginning to flutter closed, the cat shifted, moving to rest its head against your hand, a contented weight in the dim quiet of the room. You chuckled softly, feeling the warmth of the small creature by your side, and drifted into sleep, the catâs purring accompanying you into peaceful dreams.

Jungwon blinked, his new vision sharper in the dim light, taking in every detail of your sleeping face. The feline instincts were strongâcomforting, evenâbut his human mind lingered just beneath them, stirring with a confusing blend of emotions.
When heâd first bolted from the courtyard, his mind had been clouded with panic. All he could think of was escaping, getting somewhere quiet, somewhere safe. But then heâd picked up on your scentâsoft, familiarâand without a second thought, heâd followed it. His cat instincts hadnât questioned why; they simply led him to you, to the one place that felt right.
Now, as he curled beside you, his heart pounded in a strange mixture of relief and guilt. He should be searching for help, finding someone who could reverse the spell and put an end to this humiliating predicament. But looking at you now, seeing the peaceful expression on your face and the faint smile gracing your lips, he felt something different.
You looked⌠happy. Content. The way you had opened your arms to him, stroking his fur and letting him stay closeâit had made his heart race even in this small, helpless form. In the past, heâd admired you from a distance, always caught off guard by his nerves whenever you were near. But here, under the guise of this small, black cat, he was finally close to you without the hesitance.
He felt torn, his human logic telling him this was ridiculousâhe had to find a professor, get back to normal, explain to you what happened. But another part of himâthe soft purrs escaping without his control, the way his little paws kept kneading against the blanketâwanted to stay just a little longer. Just until the morning.
For now, he let himself settle into the comfort of your presence, letting his instincts guide him. After all, you looked far too pretty to disturb with a frown when you found out the truth.
/á Ëľ> Ë <Ëľă
The days slipped by, and despite your best efforts, you found yourself no closer to finding the catâs owner. Youâd asked around, stopping classmates in the hall, mentioning the small black cat that had so readily taken up residence on your bed, but no one claimed it. Each time, you received the same answersâshakes of the head, puzzled expressions, a few amused smiles.
With every passing day, the cat became more of a fixture in your life. Each morning before leaving for class, youâd give him a little scratch behind the ears, feeling his soft purrs ripple through your hand. And each evening, youâd return to find him curled up in the same spot on your bed, his little form nestled in the blankets, his tiny paws tucked under his chest as if he owned the place. There was something comforting about his presence, and you noticed how heâd glance up at you with those intense, knowing eyes every time you walked in, as if heâd been waiting for you all day.
The catâwho youâd started calling âOnyxâ in your headâseemed perfectly content. Heâd stretch luxuriously when you arrived, basking in any attention you or your housemates would give him, blinking slowly and rubbing his head against your hand, as if he were marking you as his own. And he was endlessly spoiled by your housemates, who would sneak in to pet him whenever they could, laughing over his unusual attachment to you.
Meanwhile, your brother seemed on the verge of a complete breakdown. Every time you caught sight of him in the hallways, he was muttering under his breath, eyes darting around as if he expected Jungwon to materialize out of thin air. His friends could barely keep up with his frantic pace as he searched the school from top to bottom, interrogating classmates, making excuses to professors, and even peeking into the kitchens.
One afternoon, when you saw him dashing through the courtyard, you raised an eyebrow at him. âYou look like youâre about to explode. Whatâs going on?â
He ran a hand through his hair, clearly exasperated. âNothing, nothingâjust⌠I lost something really important. And if I donât find it soon, Iâm going to be in so much trouble,â he said, casting a wary glance over his shoulder as though he expected it to appear any second.
You patted his shoulder, offering him a sympathetic smile. âGood luck, then. Iâm sure youâll find it,â you said, trying to reassure him. But you had no idea that the âlost itemâ he was so desperately searching for was happily snoozing on your bed, completely unaware of the chaos heâd left in his wake.
Jungwon, or Onyx, stretched lazily, content to continue napping in the warm scent of your blankets, savoring each gentle pet and scratching his cheek against your hand whenever you came close. His human instincts occasionally tugged at him, whispering that he should reveal himself, that he should find a way back to normal. But the comfort of your presence, the gentle affection, and the sound of your laughter as you spoke to him were too good to leave just yet.
Four days after youâd found the little black cat, it struck you that you hadnât seen Jungwon around. Usually, youâd spot him at least once a dayâsitting with your brother at meals, laughing with his Hufflepuff friends in the courtyard, or even catching him in the hallways. But now that you thought about it, heâd been strangely absent, his cheerful presence nowhere to be found.
Curious, you tracked down your brother between classes, catching him just as he was shoving books into his bag. âHey, have you seen Jungwon? Itâs been days. Is he alright?â
Your brother stiffened ever so slightly before glancing up with what he probably hoped was a casual look. âJungwon? Oh, yeah, heâs⌠heâs fine. Just sick. Nothing to worry about.â
You raised an eyebrow at his rushed answer. âReally? I thought heâd usually be back by now. Heâs not usually the type to miss this much class.â
âHeâll be back soon, donât worry about it,â your brother said quickly, slinging his bag over his shoulder. âHeâs probably just lying low until he feels better.â
âAlright⌠well, tell him I hope he feels better,â you said, giving him a small smile before turning back to your own things.
Your brother nodded, though his face was tight with worry. But you didnât notice his nervous glances, already distracted by the thought of getting back to âOnyx,â who was likely curled up on your bed, waiting for you. You didnât give Jungwonâs absence much more thought, trusting your brotherâs explanation, but you made a mental note to check in with Jungwon as soon as he returned.
When you slipped into your dorm room, carefully unwrapping the napkin bundle, the savory scent of chicken filled the air, and the cat immediately perked up. The moment you set the pieces down, he eagerly devoured them, tail flicking with excitement. You chuckled softly, watching as he polished off every last bite, licking his lips in pure satisfaction.
As you turned to grab your bag, Onyx suddenly jumped up, landing neatly on your shoulder. Startled, you reached up instinctively to hold him steady, and he nuzzled against you, purring loudly. You couldnât help but laugh, scratching behind his ear. âYou know I have to go, right?â
Onyx blinked at you, his bright eyes wide, and let out a small, soft meow, almost pleading. His paws lightly pressed against your chest as he settled into your arms, curling his tiny body closer as if he had no intention of letting you leave.
âAlright, alrightâŚâ you sighed, giving in as he snuggled into your embrace. Muggle Studies could wait, couldnât it? What were a few facts about telephones compared to this soft, warm ball of fluff purring contently against you? You slipped off your shoes, set your bag down, and climbed onto your bed, pulling the blankets over the both of you as Onyx nestled against your shoulder, his purring a gentle hum in the quiet room.
As you traced gentle patterns along his fur, he stretched his little head up, his whiskers tickling your cheek as he nuzzled closer, eyes half-closed with contentment. The warmth of the moment filled you with a sense of peace, and you drifted off into a light nap, your arm curled protectively around him, wondering absently why this small creature felt so right here with you.
The following day, as you sat nestled in a corner of the library, flipping through your notes, your brother slid into the seat across from you, an odd look on his face. You glanced up, raising an eyebrow at his nervous expression.
âHey, I need⌠um, a little help with something,â he started, tapping his fingers against the table.
You set your quill down. âAlright, spill it. Whatâs going on?â
He cleared his throat, glancing around as if worried someone might overhear. âI just⌠well, I wanted to know the incantation to reverse⌠an animal transformation. You know, from animal back to human.â
âAn animal transformation?â you repeated, giving him a quizzical look. âWhy would you need that? UnlessâŚâ You narrowed your eyes. âDonât tell me youâve been practicing transfiguration spells on yourself or your friends.â
He waved his hand dismissively, though his nervous laugh didnât help his case. âNothing like that. Iâm just⌠curious! Thought Iâd get a head start, just in case we need it for class.â His voice was unconvincing, and you tilted your head, not buying it.
âUh-huh. Right. So you just need a random incantation for a transfiguration reversal?â you pressed, crossing your arms.
âExactly,â he said, nodding eagerly. âItâs really just for, you know, future knowledge.â
You werenât convinced, but he was desperate, and you found yourself softening under his pleading gaze. âFine, Iâll teach you. But you owe meâno, you owe me two favors for this.â You held up two fingers, your expression firm.
âDeal,â he said instantly, relief flashing across his face.
With a sigh, you gestured for him to take a seat beside you, flipping open your transfiguration notes. âAlright, listen carefully. The reversal incantation isnât simple. You have to focus on the original form of the person and their essence before casting. If you donât concentrate, itâll either fail or, worse, only half-work,â you explained, watching as he nodded along, his expression tense.
As you practiced the incantation with him, you couldnât shake the feeling that there was more to this story. But, for now, you focused on teaching him the spell, repeating it until he could say it smoothly, his confidence growing with each repetition.
"Just⌠remember, donât go using this on any poor creatures for âfun,â alright?â you added as you finished up, giving him a stern look.
âYeah, yeah, of course,â he replied, though his gaze darted away. You rolled your eyes, hoping heâd stick to his word.

As the days stretched on, Jungwon felt the line between his human and feline instincts beginning to blur. Heâd started feeling strange, odd urges pulling at him that he didnât quite understand but felt impossible to resist. The need to chase things that moved quicklyâflickering lights, loose threads, even the feathery tips of your quill as you wroteâall of it stirred a primal thrill in him. His ears perked up at the slightest sounds, and he found himself irresistibly drawn to the cozy comfort of curling up beside you.
At night, heâd stretch out over your stomach or chest, his paws kneading into you as he settled down. The warmth of your body and the steady rise and fall of your breathing soothed him, and he would close his eyes, purring loudly as he drifted off. During the day, whenever you studied in the common room, he would find a spot to settle between your thighs, his little head resting comfortably against your leg, peeking up at you whenever he wanted a little scratch behind the ears.
But the more he settled into his role as your personal shadow, the more possessive he became. If one of your male housemates so much as got too close, his eyes would narrow, his ears flattening as a low, warning hiss escaped him. His back would arch slightly, and they would back off quickly, shooting you wide-eyed looks as they muttered apologies. The second they were gone, Jungwon would leap up onto your shoulders, his tail flicking with satisfaction as he licked your cheek, snuggling against you as if to say, Mine.
When you wore oversized hoodies or sweaters, he couldnât resist crawling under the soft, cozy fabric, his little head poking out at your collar. It was his favorite spot, snug and warm, and heâd curl up contentedly, letting out a rumbling purr every time you scratched his head. Your housemates couldnât help but laugh, dubbing him âyour sonâ and teasing you whenever he was glued to your side.
âHeâs practically attached to you, isnât he?â one of your friends laughed as Jungwon, true to form, climbed onto your lap and lay there, eyes half-closed in contentment.
You shrugged, petting him gently. âGuess he just knows heâs found someone whoâll spoil him.â
He would chase after loose threads from your clothes, batting them playfully with his paws as if they were the most fascinating toys in the world. His playful antics brought you endless joy; you often found yourself laughing as he pounced and rolled, completely entranced by his own reflection in a nearby window.
When nighttime fell and you settled into bed, Jungwon would curl up on your chest, his small, warm body rising and falling with each breath you took. In those quiet moments, he would gaze up at you with wide, adoring eyes, completely mesmerized. In his cat mind, you were the woman for himâhis perfect companion. He would think about how soft your skin was and how lovely it was to be close to you, relishing the sound of your heartbeat beneath him.
He became clingier than ever, following you around the common room and weaving through your legs, his purring becoming a constant background noise in your life. If you left the room, heâd meow softly, almost in protest, as if urging you to come back. When you werenât around, Jungwon would curl up on your bed, his eyes half-closed as he waited patiently for your return. Each time he heard the sound of the door opening, heâd perk up, tail flicking excitedly, ready to shower you with affection the moment you stepped inside.
If you were studying or hanging out with friends, Jungwon would find a way to squeeze into your lap or snuggle against your side, his soft fur inviting you to pet him.
He would often steal your attention, meowing softly until you looked down at him, his bright eyes pleading for affection.
Your pet owl, however, became a rare source of conflict. The moment you started cooing to it, stroking its feathers, Jungwon would watch with narrowed eyes, his gaze intent, as if he were sizing up a rival. Heâd immediately trot over to you, swatting gently at your hand with his paw, a soft mrrp leaving his mouth as he demanded your attention. If you gave in, heâd snuggle close, basking in the affection as if heâd won some unspoken victory.
To everyone else, it was obvious you had somehow become this little black catâs world.
/á Ëľ> Ë <Ëľă
One crisp afternoon, you stepped out of your dorm with your housemates, the sun streaming through the tall windows of Hogwarts. You all laughed and chatted, excitement buzzing in the air as you discussed plans for the weekend. Just as you were about to leave the common room, one of your friends suddenly exclaimed, âOh no! I forgot my Potions book!â
âIâll be right back!â they called, dashing back inside the cozy room.
The rest of you continued down the corridor, blissfully unaware that the door had swung ajar, leaving just enough space for a curious little black cat to slip through unnoticed. Jungwon, feeling adventurous, seized the opportunity to dart after your friends, his instincts kicking in as he decided to trust his nose to find you. Your perfumeâsweet and comfortingâdrew him in like a moth to a flame.
Navigating the familiar halls of Hogwarts, he quickly made his way through the bustling corridors, weaving past students and ignoring the occasional glance thrown his way.
Finally, he spotted you in the courtyard, nestled comfortably on a bench with your favorite book in hand. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows around you, and for a moment, Jungwon was mesmerized by how serene you looked, completely absorbed in your reading. He couldnât help but let out a little meow, excitement bubbling up as he began to sprint toward you.
But just as he was about to reach you, your brother appeared out of nowhere, stepping directly into Jungwonâs path. The sudden block caught him off guard, and he skidded to a halt, a startled yelp escaping his mouth. Your brother crouched down, arms outstretched, attempting to scoop Jungwon up, but he had other plans.
With a quick flick of his paw, Jungwon hissed, his instincts kicking in as he squirmed to escape. âHey! No!â your brother protested, eyes widening as he struggled to keep a hold on the wriggling black cat.
Jungwon protested, hissing and wriggling in his grip, desperately trying to escape. The sound was startling and unusual, catching the attention of several students nearby who turned to witness the scene unfolding, including yours.
âWhatâs happening?â you shouted, your heart dropping as you recognized the little black cat your brother was trying to grab. âOnyx!â
At the sound of your voice, Jungwon's ears perked up, and he whipped around to look at you, desperate for help. Before your brother could fully grasp him, Jungwon managed to twist free from his grip, leaping out of his hands and bounding straight into yours.
You caught him with a gasp, the soft weight of him settling against you instantly warming your heart. âWhat are you doing?â you exclaimed, cradling him protectively as you shot a glance at your brother. Jungwon meanwhile purred loudly, rubbing his cheek against your hand as if to say, Yes, this is exactly where I want to be.
âWhatâs going on?â you asked, concern lacing your voice as you glanced at your brother.
âUh, itâs nothing, really,â he replied, attempting to brush off the situation with a half-hearted smile.
You narrowed your eyes at him. âCome on, just tell me the truth.â
Your brother sighed, his shoulders slumping as he relented. âOkay, okay! The cat youâre holding... itâs Jungwon. I, um, accidentally turned him into a cat during Transfiguration practice.â
Your heart sank as you looked down at Jungwon, who was nestled comfortably against your chest, blissfully unaware of the chaos surrounding him. âAre you sure this is Jungwon?â you asked, concern lacing your voice.
He nodded vigorously, a hint of guilt flashing in his eyes. âI swear! It was an accident! I didnât mean for it to happen, I justââ
With a deep sigh, you set Jungwon down gently, your mind racing. Pulling out your wand, you focused on the spell needed to reverse the transformation. âAlright, just hold still, Jungwon,â you instructed softly. âReverso Animus!â you said clearly, watching as the familiar golden light enveloped Jungwon.
In an instant, the small black cat began to shimmer and shift, growing in size until you were staring at the unmistakable form of Jungwon himself. Your eyes widened in shock as he stood up slowly, looking at his hands, then down at his body as if he couldnât believe he was back to normal.
âIâm back!â he exclaimed, a bright smile spreading across his face, laughter bubbling up as his friends and your brother rushed to surround him, excitement and relief evident on their faces.
âIâm so sorry, Jungwon!â your brother shouted over the commotion, his voice filled with a thousand apologies, clearly trying to make amends for his mistake. âI didnât mean to!â
Jungwon squirmed in the midst of his friends, a frown tugging at his lips as he watched you walk away. His heart raced, the familiar urge to be near you pulling at him like a magnetic force. He tried to push through the throng of excited voices and laughter, reaching out for you with desperation, but his friends held him back, oblivious to the intensity of his need to follow.
âCome on, Jungwon! Celebrate with us!â one of them cheered, clapping him on the back, but Jungwon could barely muster a smile. His eyes remained locked on your retreating figure, the sight of you disappearing into the building stirring a pang of disappointment within him.
âCome on, Jungwon! Youâve got to tell us everything!â one of them exclaimed, laughing as they playfully tousled his hair. Another chimed in, âYouâve been a cat for days! We want the scoop!â
He felt the playful nudges and laughter of his friends, but they only served to heighten his frustration. No longer just a cat who sought warmth and comfort, he was a boy desperate for connection, with you. He bit his lip, glancing between your back and the cheerful faces surrounding him, feeling an overwhelming urge to break free.
When you finally disappeared through the doors, Jungwonâs heart sank. With a determined huff, he pushed past the clutches of his friends, murmuring a half-hearted excuse that went unnoticed amidst their excitement.
âGuys, Iâll be right back!â he called out, his voice firm as he took off in the direction you had gone.
He navigated the winding corridors of Hogwarts, his mind racing as he thought of all the things he wanted to say. Iâm sorry for the chaos, he wanted to tell you. Thank you for changing me back, and more than anything, I love you.
However, as he rounded a corner near the Great Hall, he lost sight of you. The bustling crowd of students moved like a tide, and just like that, you were gone. A wave of defeat washed over him. He pushed through the throngs, glancing into classrooms and common areas, calling your name softly, but there was no response.
Frustration bubbled within him, mingling with disappointment. Why did I let them hold me back? he berated himself. He felt like a fool for not breaking away sooner, for not insisting on finding you right away.
With a heavy sigh, he leaned against the cool stone wall, he could picture the look of confusion on your face, the hurt in your eyes when you realized.
âIâll find you tomorrow,â he promised himself, determination creeping back in. It would have to be enough for now. He knew he had to make it right, to explain everything and show you just how much he valued you.
Resolving to make a plan, Jungwon walked back to the common room, his mind swirling with ideas. He would catch you after class, or maybe in the courtyard where you often read. Heâd find a way to make sure you heard him, no matter what it took. Tomorrow, he would not let anythingâor anyoneâget in the way of what he needed to say.
/á Ëľ> Ë <Ëľă
The next day, the bustling halls of Hogwarts seemed to stretch endlessly as Jungwon searched for you, his heart pounding with anticipation. After your final class, he spotted you in the corridor, laughter spilling from your lips as you chatted with a few friends. His heart raced at the sight of you, and he felt a surge of determination.
Summoning every ounce of courage, he quietly approached from behind, his nerves buzzing. Before he could second-guess himself, he gently pulled you into an empty classroom, the door clicking shut behind you with a soft thud.
âY/N,â he said, his voice steady yet filled with urgency, âwe need to talk.â
You blinked, taken aback by the sudden shift in the atmosphere. The moment felt charged, a whirlwind of emotions swirling between you. Jungwon took a moment to gather his thoughts, his gaze unwavering. âIâve wanted to say this for so long,â he continued, stepping closer. âI love being with you. These past days, especially with everything that happened when I was⌠you know, a cat. I didnât realize just how much I needed you.â
Your heart raced at his confession. âJungwon, I⌠I didnât know you felt that way,â you stammered, surprised by the warmth blooming in your chest. The memories of cuddling with him as a cat rushed backâhis soft purrs, the way heâd nuzzle against you, how safe and happy he made you feel. âYou showed me your vulnerable side. I cared for you so much, and I want to be with you too, but I need some time to process everything that happened.â
Jungwonâs expression softened, understanding flooding his eyes. âI get it,â he said gently, taking a step closer. âBut I want you to know how I feel. I loved every moment we spent together, even when I was just a cat. You were there for me, and it felt so real. Itâs like I could finally be myself around you.â
You felt your heart swell at his words, the sincerity behind them washing over you like a warm tide, glancing down at your feet for a moment, feeling the weight of your feelings pressing on your chest. âIt was confusing at first. But seeing you back as Jungwon⌠it feels so right.â
Jungwon stepped even closer, his hand brushing against yours, sending a spark of electricity up your arm. âI care about you so much, Y/N. Itâs like youâre my safe place, and I want to be able to share everything with you, the good and the bad.â
His sincerity wrapped around you like a warm blanket, and you couldnât help but lean closer, feeling drawn to him in ways you couldnât explain. âI feel that way too,â you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper.
âWe can take it slow, see where this leads us without rushing. I just want to be with you, no matter the form it takes.â
Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a warm embrace. You melted against him, feeling the tension dissolve in the comfort of his presence.
When you both pulled back slightly, Jungwon's expression turned serious. âIf you ever feel unsure or need space, just tell me, okay? I want you to feel safe with me.â
You nodded, appreciating his sensitivity. âI promise.â
He smiled, a mixture of relief and affection lighting up his face.

Over the next two days, your mind was a whirlwind of emotions. Every moment was filled with thoughts of Jungwon, replaying your conversation in that empty classroom. You knew you had to make a decision, and every time you thought of him, your heart swelled with a sense of belonging and excitement.
Finally, the day arrived when you couldnât hold it in any longer. After your last class, you took a deep breath, steeling yourself as you made your way through the bustling halls of Hogwarts, searching for him. When you spotted Jungwon leaning against a wall, laughing with a couple of friends, your heart raced.
âHey, can we talk?â you called, trying to sound casual, though your nerves were anything but.
His gaze shifted to you, and the moment he saw you, his smile widened. âOf course!â He excused himself from his friends and walked toward you, the laughter fading as anticipation filled the air.
You took a deep breath, glancing down momentarily to gather your thoughts. âIâve been thinking a lot about what we talked about the other day,â you began, feeling your heart race. âAnd I realized⌠I want to be together.â
Jungwonâs eyes lit up with joy, and before you could react, he stepped forward and twirled you around in an ecstatic hug. âReally? Are you serious?â he exclaimed, laughter bubbling in his voice.
You laughed along, feeling weight lift off your shoulders as you embraced the happiness of the moment. When he set you down, he looked into your eyes, a mixture of surprise and delight on his face. âI canât believe this!â
His joy was infectious, and you couldnât help but smile back at him. âI just⌠I really like you, Jungwon. Iâve felt it for a while now.â
His expression softened as he stepped closer. âSo, can IâŚ?â He hesitated for a moment, then grinned cheekily. âCan I get a kiss?â
Your heart raced again, but you nodded, feeling a rush of excitement. You leaned in, and as your lips met, the world around you faded away. It was gentle at first, but as you melted into the kiss, it deepened, filled with all feelings you both shared.
When you pulled back, breathless and smiling, your thoughts suddenly turned to your brother. You remembered his protective stance, always claiming that no guy was good enough for you. The sudden wave of worry hit you, and you glanced down, biting your lip. âUm, so⌠about my brotherâŚâ
Jungwon raised an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity in his expression. âWhat about him?â
You sighed, feeling a bit sheepish. âHe can be a bit⌠overprotective. Heâs probably going to have a lot to say about us being together. I just⌠I hope he doesnât freak out or anything.â
Jungwon chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. âI think I can handle him. Besides, Iâm the one who got turned into a cat. If anything, I should have some kind of clout, right?â
You couldnât help but laugh at that. âTrue, you do have a unique story. But still, I just donât want him to think poorly of you.â
âHey,â he said gently, lifting your chin so you met his gaze. âI promise Iâll do my best to win him over. I care about you, and I want him to see that. Plus, if he sees how happy you are, he might just come around.â
You nodded, comforted by his words. âYouâre right."
With a playful grin, Jungwon wrapped an arm around your shoulders. âThen letâs tackle this together. How about we talk to him after dinner? Just the three of us?â
âOkay,â you agreed, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. âLetâs do it.â
After dinner, you felt a mix of anticipation and nerves as you and Jungwon made your way to the courtyard to meet your brother. The moon hung high in the sky, casting a soft glow over the stone path as you approached the familiar spot where your brother usually liked to unwind.
He was leaning against a pillar, casually flipping through a book. When he noticed you both approaching, he closed it and set it aside, an eyebrow raised in curiosity. âSo, whatâs the big news?â
You exchanged a glance with Jungwon, and he gave you a reassuring nod. âWe wanted to talk to you about something important,â you began, your heart racing. âJungwon and I are⌠well, weâre together now.â
Your brotherâs expression shifted from curiosity to surprise, but instead of the angry outburst you feared, he broke into a smile. âReally? You two?â
You nodded, relief flooding through you. âYeah, we just wanted you to know.â
To your astonishment, your brotherâs smile grew wider. âHonestly, I couldnât have picked a better guy for you. I trust Jungwon. Heâs the only guy I know whoâs worthy of you because I know heâll treat you right.â
The weight lifted off your shoulders as joy washed over you. You turned to Jungwon, and without thinking, you both leaned in, sharing a sweet kiss under the moonlight. The moment was perfectâuntil your brother suddenly coughed, breaking the spell.
âHey! No kisses in front of me!â he declared, mock annoyance in his tone, but there was a teasing glint in his eye.
You and Jungwon pulled back, laughter bubbling up between you. âOkay, okay,â you giggled, feeling warmth spread through you at your brotherâs acceptance. âNo kisses in front of you.â
With a playful grin, Jungwon stepped forward and pulled you into a warm hug. You melted into his embrace, feeling a sense of comfort and happiness enveloping you. âThanks for being so cool about this,â Jungwon said softly, his breath tickling your ear.
Your brother crossed his arms, shaking his head in feigned disapproval. âJust keep the mushy stuff to a minimum around me, alright?â
You laughed again, feeling giddy. âWe will, I promise.â
As you pulled back from the hug, you saw the genuine happiness in your brotherâs eyes. âJust remember,â he added, a more serious tone creeping into his voice, "treat her right, alright?â
Jungwon nodded earnestly, a serious expression crossing his face. âI promise I will.â

Bonus!:
The day of one your brother's Quidditch match had arrived, and the atmosphere around the pitch was electric with excitement. You had made your way to the team tent, filled with an eagerness to support your brother. As you entered, the familiar scent of fresh grass and a hint of waxed wood filled the air, along with the chatter of the team gearing up for the game.
You found your brother pacing nervously inside the tent, his Quidditch gear scattered around him. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation, and you couldnât help but smile at the sight of him. He looked up, surprise washing over his face when he saw you.
âWhat are you doing here?â he asked, his brow furrowing.
With a playful grin, you pulled out a bright yellow chicken costume from behind your back, waving it triumphantly. âI came to collect one of the favors you owe me!â
His eyes widened in disbelief, and he groaned dramatically. âYouâve got to be kidding me! Youâre making me wear that? Right before the match?â
âAbsolutely!â you teased, stifling a laugh. âA chicken mascot would really boost team morale. Just think of it as a strategic advantage.â
He shot you a look that could only be described as a mix of annoyance and resignation. âYouâre going to be the death of me,â he muttered, snatching the costume from your hands. âFine! But if I get ridiculed out there, Iâm blaming you.â
âHey, at least youâll be memorable!â you shot back, unable to hold in your laughter as he started to put on the ridiculous outfit. The fluffy yellow feathers looked utterly absurd against his determined expression.
As he struggled to pull the costume over his Quidditch gear, you couldnât resist teasing him further. âCome on, embrace your inner chicken! Youâre gonna be the star of the show!â
âIâm going to be the laughingstock of the school!â he retorted, but you could see a hint of a smile tugging at his lips despite the exasperation.
Once he finally managed to get the costume on, you took a step back to admire the spectacle. He looked utterly ridiculous, and you burst into laughter, doubling over at the sight. âYou make a great chicken! Youâre gonna fly out there and peck the competition!â
âVery funny,â he grumbled, but there was a hint of amusement in his tone as he glanced in the mirror. âAlright, letâs just get this over with.â
âJust remember,â you said, suppressing another laugh, âyouâve got a chicken in your corner cheering you on. Youâll win for sure!â
With that, he rolled his eyes but couldnât hide the smile on his face. âI better not regret this,â he muttered as he headed out of the tent, his confidence bolstered by your playful energy.
/á Ëľ> Ë <Ëľă
You and Jungwon stood in front of your brother, a mischievous glint in your eyes. âSo, we have a bit of a favor to ask,â you said, trying to sound as innocent as possible despite the excitement bubbling up inside you.
Your brother looked at you skeptically. âWhat is it this time? Because I swear if it involves another chicken costumeâŚâ
âItâs nothing like that!â Jungwon interjected, stifling a laugh. âWe want you to turn us into cats.â
Your brother blinked in disbelief, processing your request. âSeriously? You two want to be turned into cats? Why would you even want that?â
âBecause it would be fun!â you replied, barely able to contain your excitement. âI promise, itâll be worth it!â
He hesitated, clearly torn between disbelief and amusement. âAnd why would I even consider this?â
You exchanged a quick glance with Jungwon before speaking up again. âRemember that second favor you owe me. This counts, right?â
He groaned, running a hand through his hair. âFine! But if this backfires, Iâm holding you both responsible.â
âThank you!â you both chimed, practically bouncing on your toes with excitement.
With a sigh, your brother pulled out his wand, muttering the incantation under his breath. A warm light enveloped you and Jungwon, and suddenly you felt yourself shrinking, your limbs transforming as your human forms faded away. When the light dimmed, you looked around with wide eyes, realizing you were both small, furry creatures now.
Jungwon turned to you, his eyes sparkling with delight, and let out a soft, inquisitive meow. You mirrored his expression, feeling the softness of your new form and the thrill of being a cat. You nuzzled against him, your whiskers brushing against his fur, and instinctively, you both began to purr.
Your brother, now looking utterly baffled, shook his head in disbelief. âYou two really went through with itâŚâ he muttered, a mix of amusement and exasperation in his voice. âJust be careful, okay?â
But before he could say anything else, you and Jungwon turned your attention back to each other. Without a second thought, you dashed over to Jungwon, who had already curled up on a nearby cushion. He looked up at you with bright eyes, and you couldnât resist the urge to snuggle up against him. You nestled into his warm side, feeling the comforting rhythm of his purring resonate against you. He responded by wrapping his paws around you, drawing you closer.
As the two of you settled into a cozy heap, Jungwon began to groom you, his rough tongue lapping at your fur in gentle strokes. You closed your eyes, surrendering to the soothing rhythm of his actions. You felt safe and content, purring softly as he continued to lick your fur, making you feel warm and loved.
Drifting off to sleep, you felt Jungwon shift slightly, wrapping his body around yours as if to protect you. He looked down at you, his eyes full of affection, and for a moment, nothing else mattered. You were just two cats, snuggled together, enjoying the peacefulness of the moment as you drifted off to sleep in the comfort of each other's warmth.

âGood morning. I'd like ube bubble tea, please.â
âName?â
You smiled, giving the barista your nickname instead before paying and moving away to wait.Â
It was not yet past 9 AM, but you couldnât help grabbing your work phone and activating the mobile data. Even though you'd be in the office in ten minutes, it couldn't hurt to already have an idea of what awaited you.
There was no surprise with the amount of notifications popping up; so many so fast, the expensive device froze for a second. You smirked as you reviewed the messages sent through the officeâs private chats, then scrunched up your nose at a few more serious emails. But as you dismissed one notification after the other, taking mental notes of what you should do first, one message made you topple all over yourself when you thumbed it away.
What was that?
CEO Jeon Jungkook is expecting you for a one-on-one call at 9:30 AM.
Your eyes widened impossibly, your perfectly manicured nails carding through your long hair for a moment. What did you just read?!
You opened a private chat with your team director, and your mentor, Yoon Minsik, and sent him a screenshot of the text message.
You scoffed in disbelief; you couldnât believe this was on the table again. Still, what was baffling was that the CEO himself wanted to talk to you about it. It was so ludicrous; it was nonsensical.
You started typing furiously to tell your mentor that he should have handled your rejections to move away with more grace when someone called your nickname for what sounded like the hundredth time.
You turned around on your high heels, your perfectly styled hair falling in long dark waves behind your shoulder over a white silk blazer. The barista staggered, looking at you above her eyeglasses with parted lips, before she blinked and hurried to bow and extend your ube bubble tea.
You were about to smile and thank her for her service when she tripped and lounged forward, scaring you into instinctively grabbing her forearm to keep her steady. Fortunately, she was smaller than you, and since the drink was closed, your white suit was purple-stain free.
Still, the barista fell apart in apologies and bows that left you baffled.
âThereâs nothing to be sorry about. No harm done, see?â You wished the people around you would stop staring and making her feel bad; it made the air too pungent for your sensitive nose. She reminded you of a younger you, going through part-time jobs to push you through law school. âThank you for your kindness.â
You made sure to bow and smile at her properly to put her at ease before heading to your office with a rushed pace. You couldnât risk being late, even if you already knew your answer to the CEOâs proposal.
The expansion of the Jeon conglomerate into Seoul was but a small reflection of the success the company was finding overseas. It made it impossible not to expand to the capital and, naturally, most of the executive and legal teams followed.
Only you had said no at the time, and again just yesterday, when your mentor brought it up again. He should have known better than to go directly to the CEO about something like this. You had no special rapport with the CEO; you were just part of the team that handled multiple international agreements, and you represented the company whenever necessary. You had been told the CEO resented not having his top legal representative more âat handâ, but you doubted he was even aware of your existence. Your work gave prestige to the Busan branch, and you were proud of it. You had even suggested training someone to take functions similar to yours in Seoul. That was still your answer â youâd help out in any way, but there was nothing that could convince you to go to Seoul.
You admitted you never thought youâd sway on that decision, not in a million years. But you had also never imagined someone like CEO Jeon Jungkook, and just looking at him, you thought you could be convinced. When you entered the video call with him, you were expecting a short five-minute call in which anything could happen, from a dismissive âI thought Iâd give it a shotâ, to âYou either do it or youâre fired.â You were ready for both, as adamant as you were about your position. Yet, neither happened.
He entered the call despite clearly needing time to finish a conversation with someone in the room, so you observed him while they talked on mute. His shoulders were wide, framed by a dark blazer that made him look the size of the world. His eyes were dark, introducing a harshness with his eyebrows as he debated something he clearly disagreed on with his interlocutor. His dark hair reached his eyes, falling on what you realized were soft features. CEO Jeon Jungkook was incredibly good-looking, making the blood rush to your cheeks in an instant.Â
You swallowed and tried looking away, grabbing a notebook and a pen just in case you needed to take notes. Unfortunately, it didnât give you much reprieve; your eyes found their way to his neck, thick with a prominent Adamâs apple. As he craned his head to look at something behind the camera, your eyes trailed happily down his throat to his collar bone, where a couple of open buttons revealed perfectly bronzed skinâ
You cleared your voice and started scribbling the date on the notebook; anything to keep you from staring. It didnât last long; a deep voice invaded your ears through your AirPods, âI apologize for the delay. Thank you for seeing me on such short notice.â
Your mind blanked as you stared at the screen with currents of warm, ticklish electricity running down your spine.Â
That was his voice. You could barely pay attention to what he was saying, which was so exceptional, it was unthinkable. His looks werenât the issue; your whole body was trying to pinpoint something, and not necessarily his figure. It was as though you were a radio, turning the knob to fine-tune the right frequency. One you knew was yours to attune to, you just needed a bit moreâ
âSo I wanted your opinion on the matter quickly before we meet in twenty minutes.â
You straightened your shoulders, and nodded, shaking those thoughts away. Your boss had a work-related request, and you obliged immediately.
While you resumed the current status of the agreement with an American company looking to use Jeon facilities to carry out research and development of a few products the Jeon conglomerate wanted priority access to, CEO Jeon Jungkook listened intently. You were used to talking and being met with skepticism or even indifference, especially by older stakeholders, who didnât always respect a young woman in such a pivotal role in your department. Yet, the CEO was listening to you with utmost seriousness, as if every word out of your mouth was worth his time and attention.
Because it was; he hadn't achieved his current level of success at such a young age without being highly skilled and intelligent, just like you. You gave him the run-down of the situation and brainstormed with him possibilities that could be included in the agreement with ease. It was frankly refreshing; not too often, you had to waste time reminding board members of concrete information, boundaries, and laws that they should be aware of. Jeon Jungkook wasnât there to waste your time or to scoff at your input; he was there to obtain advice on the best course of action, and it tranquilized you.
It impressed you, also. For someone only two years younger than you, he was phenomenal. Though, you didnât forget what he was. You wondered if the reason why you couldnât take your eyes off him and nearly stopped breathing to hear him attentively was because he was an alpha. You could only guess; to your knowledge, no one at the company knew of him or the Jeon family, and you had no way of knowing if you should feel any type of way about him.
According to your mother, you should. When you first started working for the Jeon conglomerate, she had almost lost her mind, wailing about the sacrifices your ancestors made to keep your family safe, only for you to work right under one of the Families. At the time, you knew better than to scoff at her; after all, you had already presented. It was a hard period for you, having grown up with stories the world told you were make-belief, only to turn eighteen and suddenly feel unexplainable things. The worst was that your sense of smell had evolved, picking up on the faintest scent. If humans could make the air change so quickly based on their emotions, you could only imagine how an alpha could influence a whole room, especially for you.
In the end, your mother had to admit that the Jeon family was too prestigious and far away to ever come into contact with you. That meant that Jeon Jungkook had never met you until now, despite your extensive work at his company. You were the middle person, the worker behind the scenes, writing the proposals, discussing, and bringing things to life. Yoon Minsik or other Seoul-based lawyers would be the ones to appear at formal events when things were done, which you didnât mind as long as you stayed in Busan. Safe.
So Jeon Jungkook had no idea about you.
Still, he sighed when you finished talking and leaned on his right side as he seemed to debate something with himself. âI must confess Yoon Minsik didnât do you justice.â
âIâm sorry?â
You blinked, caught off guard. He had a meeting in five minutes; you were expecting him to say his farewells.
âI knew the Busan team was holding someone exceptional, but Yoon Minsik should have warned me sooner. No one in this office can synthesize, analyze, and keep a high level of scrutiny like you just did on such short notice and in so little time. Not with me, at least.â
You didnât answer, opting for a silent moment to process what he just said. It was surely praise, but you were not about to belittle your Seoul colleagues by agreeing. You also didnât want to sell yourself; you were happy where you were. Finally, you had to stop your chest from swelling with pride. CEO Jeon Jungkook was telling you in so many words that you matched him skillswise, which was incredibly validating. He was also incredible, if you could say so yourself.
He glanced at the edge of the screen, then leaned forward, âYour talents are wasted in the Busan office. Come work with me in Seoul.â
Your cheeks blushed furiously as your body overreacted to his request. Fortunately, your makeup was perfect that morning, and so you could trust he had no clue how much he affected you.
âIâm undoubtedly flattered by your incredible remarks and for such an amazing opportunity, but I must politely decline.â
Your answer was automatic, even though your eyes watered, and your voice didnât hide a tinge of emotion. You were touched by the proposition, by the whole ordeal, really. But nothing could change your mind.
He pursed his lips, âIs there something about this office you dislike? Something youâd like to request? Iâm listening.â
Your heart raced in your chest and you swallowed. Your mind whipped out an impossible thought while you glanced at the clock â 9:58 AM. When you looked back at him, you were almost shocked; he was at ease, just looking at you. As though he didnât have another meeting in two minutes. As though you werenât a replaceable piece in the system. As though he actually was willing to stay there with you and negotiate the conditions that would change your mind and bring you to his side.
You swallowed dryly again, âThe office is great; like I said, itâs an amazing opportunity. I just donât wish to be uprooted.â
A few seconds ticked by in silence while you waited for those soft features to twist into petulance or anger at the rejection.
But then his lips pulled in a crooked smile, and you just knew he was amused, maybe even impressed by your resilience.Â
âItâs a shame, and an incredible loss for this office. But I donât plan on doing without you from here on out. Thank you for your time, talk soon.â
He bowed, and you hurried to do the same through your bewilderment, and in seconds the call was cut. You were left breathless and a little stupefied by CEO Jeon Jungkook.
You werenât sure how to feel about today.
As you shut the front door of your apartment with your heart in your throat and disheveled hair from running, you leaned your back on it as if your weight could stop whoever was chasing you from breaking it down.
Your first instinct was to push the camera button to see outside your apartment and of your apartment building, but it was all normal and quiet. Slowly, your heart calmed as you stared endlessly into such a peaceful and unmoving image, you wondered if it had been hacked to play on a loop.
But then you scoffed and reasoned with yourself; thatâs just an exaggeration. This whole thing was. This whole day was.Â
First, the CEO of your conglomerate all but interviewed you and tried to negotiate you changing offices to Seoul. Just that implausibility could have made that day already sound bonkers.
But then, because you had taken the metro that day, you had to walk a bit home, and you were almost snatched.
You swallowed, getting your heels off. That was exactly what it was â a car had stopped next to you on the street and two men had tried to grab you and push you inside. They must have been coordinated, because the men were following behind you, and the car knew exactly when and where to stop. Still, the nearing car alerted you, so as soon as you felt someone behind you, you were ready to fight. You struggled and managed to slip through their fingers, instantly running to a very busy street nearby. You knew no one would help you even if they saw it, but you were hoping it would deter them at least.
You ran straight home; you hoped they didnât follow you.
You went all the way to your fridge, grabbed a soju bottle in your shaky hands, then turned on the TV to create background noise. You were nervous, trembling, and you needed normalcy to calm down. The familiar sound of a journalist reporting the news allowed you to down half a bottle in a go before heaving a long sigh straight from your soul.Â
Abductions werenât common, but men or cults were known for unorthodox methods like those. You tried to shrug it off as being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it wasnât enough. The news wasnât enough, either. So you grabbed your phone and called your mother.
âHi, my butterfly. Howâs my precious daughter?â
She instantly started going on about what she was doing and her day, and you finally closed your eyes with a sense of normalcy. You managed to switch clothes while she talked, then went over the small and less impactful moments of your day for obvious reasons â the Jeon alpha and the almost abduction situations would just worry her terribly.
But then the TV reporter started speaking on a piece about a series of attacks targeting women in Busan, and you reached for the remote to increase the volume. Your mother kept talking, none the wiser, while you listened to the piece and noticed the similarities to what happened to you: men followed them on the street, shoved them into a car, asked a bunch of questions, touched them inappropriately, and then let them go.
Your mind was going over the motive of such a weird event when your breath caught. On the screen, the interview of one of the victims shocked you â it was the barista from this morning, eyeglasses and all.
Your alarms went off. âMomâŚâ you interrupted. âI need to tell you something.â
You started by commenting on what the reporter was saying, talking about the events happening locally, and your mother scoffed bitterly, âI told you not to move to the city.â
âItâs just Busan,â you argued, tired of that same old discussion.
âEven Busan is too big! Big cities are hunting grounds forââ
âDo you think thatâs what this is?â You asked more sternly, wanting her opinion without freaking her out.
âYes,â she sighed, knowing her daughter was dismissive of the subject. âIt sounds like theyâre scenting people.â
âWhat?â
âHunting for omegas.â
You bit your lip for a second, still hesitating, âAnd why do you think that is, all of a sudden?â
She hummed, âThey think omegas are extinct, but that doesnât stop them from looking.â
You sighed with exasperation; this was serious, âYou think theyâre hunting ghosts and risking lawsuits?â
âThese Families donât need to worry about petty things like lawsuits! You should know that!â
You groaned, rubbing your face. You had misstepped and given her even more reasons to be agitated, and she didnât know the half of it yet.
âAn omega is a powerful tool to exert control. Remember the legends? Seven great Families once controlled the nationââ
âYeah, yeah, omegas disappeared and now there are only four families,â you wrapped up dismissively. You didnât care about snobs or hierarchies, not even in what concerned your disconcerting CEO. You cared where that left you.
âWhether you want to bury your head in the sand or not, itâs still very much true. The four Families have four unmated alphas, itâs a wonder they didnât start searching sooner.â
âYou think this is them?â you probed, biting down your nail.
âOr someone who knows how valuable such a person can be.â
You scoffed, âHow would they even know who is an omega?â
âSome are trained to pick up the rarest of scents. Donât forget how invaluableââ
âRight, right,â you dismissed, hiding your eyes from the TV and the world. You could still see the barista giving her testimony to the journalist; there was no dismissing it anymore. Your mother was making too much sense, paranoia be damned.
âWhatever Family gets their hands on one will get the upper hand.â
âThis is fucking ridiculous,â you burst in a low hiss, angry at the world. You were not a tool or bargaining chip.
âYou say that because you donât know. You donât know what itâs like to be in a room full of alphas, the power thatââ
âNor do I want to,â you grumbled. âDo I have a reason to worry?â
Your motherâs tone was surprisingly calm, âNo, I donât think so. Our family is not in the registry, they have no way of tracking you down. Why?â
You went over the episode briefly so as not to shock her too much, though to no avail. âMomâŚâ you tried, but she didnât stop her litany of I told you so. âThereâs something else.â
You had to tell her about the barista because to you, that was the nail in the coffin. You were pragmatic and knew the law; regardless of the Familiesâ standing, you didnât believe they were above it. Maybe they did hunt for omegas in order to gain advantage over each other, you couldnât be certain. Realistically, alleging such things would get you nowhere, and you were living under the radar, staying away from the capital where most betas and alphas migrated decades ago. But the barista changed everything. Because you went to that cafĂŠ almost every day and this time, you had touched her. You could have left your scent behind.
It was just too much of a coincidence that the two things happened the same day.
âYou need to leave.â
Your momâs tone dropped, hinting at an incontestable seriousness. You still tried, âYou said Iâm not in the registry.â
âYes, but we canât risk it!â
You groaned, âWhat the hell will they do? Kidnap me?â
âYes!â You pursed your lips this time. âYouâll be seen as a tool! And we donât have the means to protect you!â
You rubbed your eyes but agreed, âI⌠I think I can go to Seoul for a while. For work. I know,â you continued, with a hint of frustration. âItâs the worst place to go, but I have my life, my work. I can't just disappear. Maybe if I leave for a week or so, it will be enough to throw them off.â
Your mother wasnât convinced, but she was reasonable â you could leave tomorrow and ask for vacation as soon as possible to maybe travel and lay low for a while.
It was nerve-wracking, but you were willing to do anything to stay safe and hidden. To stay autonomous and live freely, to not be used as leverage in power games that deemed you a worthless pawn. You just wanted to live your life, regardless of your blood or status.
You had a plan, so after booking a flight and a hotel room, and messaging your mentor about the sudden change of plans, you were able to sleep a few hours. Because you wanted to work the next day, you had an early flight that allowed you to arrive and get ready before starting within normal working hours.
That was how you left, waiting for a taxi in front of your building when the sun wasn't even up. And that was how you were shoved inside a car when you were distracted, and finally taken.

ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Once I found my seat, I sit down accidentally bumping into the women next to me. âIâm so sorry I wasnât paying attention. Are you okâ I asked her making sure to apologize since she almost fell over.
âIâm sorry my English isnât very goodâ she said to me not being able to understand a word I said. I just look at her apologetic and repeated what I said it slowly. âJe suis dĂŠsolĂŠ, je nâavais pas lâintention de vous croiser. Est-ce que ça vaâ I asked softly making sure she understands I was sorry.
She looked at me surprised thinking I wouldnât be able to speak French. I giggled softly at her surprised expression, making her join me as well as we are both just standing in front of our seats laughing together. Once we finally stop she puts her hand on my shoulder in a reassuring way.
âNo, itâs my fault I was in the wayâ she said with a bright smile making me smile at her softly. âNonsense, I should have looked where I was goingâ I said softly to her not wanting her to blame herself.
âYou are a beautiful darling girl, with a very beautiful personalityâ she complimented me with her bright smile making my day so much better. âThank you very much, you are very beautiful yourselfâ I complimented her back making her look at me with a grateful smile.
âWhat are you doing here darling, here to watch driving with your boyfriendâ she asked as we both sit down watching the track waiting for the race to start. âNo boyfriend, just myself. I am the only person in my family and friends to love f1â I replied to her question fixing my hat so the sun wouldnât get in my eyes when Iâm talking to her.
âIâm here because my son didnât have enough pass to get me into the paddock so Iâm stuck in the standsâ she said while laughing about her son and his actions. I laughed with her then remembering I have paddock passes that costed a fortune.
âWhich garage do you need to go toâ I asked her hoping and praying she said Ferrari since that was the only passes I had. âFerrariâ she said with a confused face probably wondering why I was asking.
âI have an extra pass for the garage, in fact, do you want oneâ I offered with a smile on my face not wanting it to go to waste. âNo, I couldnât take it, you spent your money on thatâ she says feeling bad for taking one of the extra passes I had. I smile at her taking out my pass and hers wanting her to take it.
âPlease take it, I want it to be used and in addition you have to watch it with your sonâ I say softly giving her the pass watching her give me a grateful smile. She takes the pass from my hands and give me a big smile. Before I know it sheâs taking me with her to the paddocks. âI want you to watch it with me so that you can meet my sonâ she said excitedly becoming very fond of me.
As sheâs taking me through crowds of people we get stopped by security. They asked to see our passes, when we show them she continued to drag me through the huge crowds. âAre you sure I donât want to be a botherâ I tell her not wanting to ruin her moment with her son. âNo I want you to come want you to get to know my sonâ she says before taking me in the Ferrari garage.
Once we go into the garage she takes me to a group of people who were next to the mechanics. âMon amourâ she called out to one of the boys who look around my age. Once he heard her voice he looked happy to see her and went up to her crying. Once I finally realized who it was I stood there in shock. It was Charles Leclerc. The Charles Leclerc that just won the Monza Grand Prix for his team. When I see him I instantly start walking away slowly not wanting to ruin their family moment.
But then I heard her call out for me I freeze again hoping she didnât feeing like Iâm about to faint. âDarling where are you goingâ she says before going to me and taking me to her son who happened to be Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.
âCharles this lovely girl gave me one of her extra passes to come see youâ she says to him before leaving us to talk. I look up at him nervously trying my hardest to seem cool but my hands shaking were not helping my case. âSo your the girl I keep seeing my mom with huhâ he said to me looking at me like how a lion looks at its prey. Once he said that all I could do was nod, not trusting myself to talk.
âYou donât speak princessâ He whispered into my ear while looking at me with pure lust in my eyes. âI- um yeah I doâ I stuttered not being able to make eye contact with him. âSuch a pretty girl, huh princessâ he says bring his hand to my face so I can look at him in the eyes. When I wouldnât make eye contact he got a bit frustrated wrapping his hand around my neck slightly making me gasp from the sudden touch.
âLook at me when Iâm talking to you. Donât you want to be a good girlâ he growled into my ear making me freeze before looking at him with pure innocence. When he saw the innocences in my eyes all he could do was groans softly wanting to ruin my innocence and make me his.
âThat look in your eyes is very dangerous petite fille. Wouldnât want you to start something you canât finishâ he whispered in my ear his hand squeezing around my neck a bit tighter making me whimper feeling extremely out of control, not being able to think properly. Once they call his name to go to celebrate, he didnât talk his eyes off of me and my body.
âWhen I come back youâre gonna be a good girl and come home with me. Gonna be my reward itâs also a thank you for giving an extra pass to my mom. Got itâ he growled sternly into my ear making me shiver from such power in his voice. All I do is nod making sure he knows I understand.
âWhen youâre with me you speak. Do you understandâ he says scarily calm making me want to obey him in an instant. âYes I understandâ is all I could say with a stuttering voice still feeling out of control like I was his doll. âThatâs a good girlâ he whispered to me before kissing my head before going out on the stage and celebrate his win.
After his celebration I just sit in the garage waiting patiently for him to come back. He comes back completely covered in champagne, he looks at me with a devilish smirk on his face making me thighs clench as hard as they can, feeling my panties get wet in an instant once again.
âLetâs goâ he spoke in a deep voice making me get up in an instant feeling him take control of me. I was walking in front of him feeling him pressed up against me as we walk to his car, feeling his hard-on every time I take a step. He goes over to my side opening the door for me. Once I step in he goes to the driver side and he just stares at me before grabbing my hand and putting it on his hard-on.
âFeel that. You caused that so when we go to the hotel your gonna help me fix it okayâ he told me making me rub it. I make a bold move and squeeze his clothed cock softly making his hips buck and him groan I pleasure. I stroke him through his pants, his hips following my strokes as he moans deeply loving my hand on him.
âC-can I see itâ I pleaded with an innocent voice wanting to see all of him and feel him in my hand, and mouth. Once I asked that he followed my request taking off his belt and sliding his pants and underwear far enough where he can take his hard cock out. His shaft a nice light pink and his tip being the color of his lips or a bit darker. I just look at him in shocked him being almost around 7 to 8 inches at least.
âT-thatâ I stuttered a loss of words from him being huge. âItâs what princessâ he said with a cocky smirk already know what I was gonna say before I said it. âThatâs not gonna fit in meâ I say nervously looking back and forth from him and his cock that stood proudly. Once I said that he chuckled darkly while stroking himself slowly.
âItâs okay, Iâll make it fitâ he stated darkly making me lose my breath just from his words and his hand moving up and down his cock. âGo on, taste it princess I can see you clenching your pretty little legsâ he grunted darkly putting his hand at the tip of his cock rubbing it softly.
Once he told me that I put my arm over the console wrapping my hand around the shaft, my hand barely being able to wrap around it. Not only was he long he was thick, the size of his forearm thick. I move my hand up and down his cock finding a good rhythm. He starts moaning and growing making my confidence grow a little making me move my hand faster, my thumb rubbing over his dark tip gently. I look up at him seeing his eyes closed in pleasure, and his thrown back moaning more and more.
Feeling bold I go over to him licking his tip softly making him buck his hips pushing his cock into my mouth forcefully. I slowly put my mouth around him running my tongue up and down his shaft earning me louder groans and moans from before. He opened his eyes looking at me suck his cock, grabbing my hair doing a makeshift pony tail guiding me up and down his thick cock.
âSucking me so good. Like your mouth was made to suck my cockâ he moaned guiding my head up and down faster, also making me take more of him. I stroke what I canât take in my mouth making him a bit pissed. âYour gonna take all of it got. Your my cock slut so act like itâ he growled pushing my head down more his cock feeling him at the back of my throat. I move up and down his cock gagging every time his tip hits the back of my throat, tears coming to my eyes and I breathe through my nose.
âAww is the cock to big for the cock slut to suck offâ he mocked me making me look up at him with innocent eyes as he basically fucks my throat making me gag everyone time his tip hits my throat. I tap his thigh asking for some air so he pulls my hair giving me a break. âWeâre going to the hotel I need to fuck your pussyâ he demanded before tucking his cock back into his pants making me pout slightly.
He starts driving to the hotel gripping my thigh for dear life. Once we made it he gets out quickly going to my side and opening my door and dragging me out. As we walk to the elevator his hand is wrapped around my waist almost groping my ass. We go in the elevator, the doors closing as they closed he pushed me against the wall kissing me passionately. Squeezing my ass his other hand pulling my hair so my head can go back. I gasp light as he pulls my hair hard so he can leave marks on my neck claiming me as his.
He sucked dark marks on my lick, making me hiss at the stinging sensation. He licked one spot that made me moan softly he started sucking a dark hickey on it making panties soaking wet. Once we heard the elevator ding he gets off of me dragging me to his room, taking out his key card and opening the door. We walked inside the room, he pinned me to the door kiss me roughly slipping his tongue in my mouth without a struggle. I moaned against his lips feeling his hand travel up my bare thighs. âGonna let me touch this pretty pussyâ he growled unbuttoning my shorts sliding them down my legs.
âY-yesâ I whimpered feeling him slowly stick his hand in my panties running his fingers through my wet folds. âWho made you this wet princessâ he asked me not taking his eyes off of me for one second. âWho. Made. You. This. Wetâ he demanded for my answer making me quiver in pleasure feeling his pointer finger circle my throbbing clit.
âYou didâ I squealed feeling him pinch my clit between his fingers. âThatâs right I made you this wet, you belong to meâ he claimed to me making me moaned when he slowly teased my tight hole. âSay it, say you belong to meâ he demanded me sticking a finger in my tight wet pussy, curling it inside me with out second thought.
I cried out feeling his fingers brushed a feign spot in me effortlessly. âIâm yoursâ I shouted crying from the unfamiliar pleasure never feeling this good before. âYour so tight princess, is my pretty little girl a virginâ he teased me thrusting his finger in and out of my puckered hole. âN-noâ I whined fucking myself on his finger. âAww my innocent little girl isnât so innocent huhâ he said possessively not liking his another guy has seen you before him. âDid he make you feel goodâ he asked me slipping another finger to join his first one in me.
I moaned out tears leaving my eyes from the intense pleasure. âN-no used m-me for his p-pleasureâ I stuttered shaking from his fingers abusing my g-spot making me scream in pleasure. âDid I find it princess did I find your special spotâ he grinned cockily fucking it hard and hard, making it difficult to stay up. âSo Iâm guessing that bastard didnât make you cumâ he wondered while pounding his fingers in me. All I could do was shake my head no feeling a familiar knot in my stomach that Iâm brought myself to. âOh youâre in for a treat, Iâll make you cum so many times youâll pass outâ he grinned to me making me clench my tight walls around his two fingers.
âMâso close, please let me cumâ I begged fucking myself on his finger, being on a brink of an orgasm. He chuckled at me seeing how desperate I was to cum all over his fingers. âIâm gonna count down from 10 and when I tell you to cum you cum got itâ he told me as his fingers were pounding harder and harder every time I moaned. âY-yesâ I struggled to say holding in my orgasm as hard as I could.
â10âŚâ he counted pausing before going onto the next number â9âŚâ he brings his other hand to my clit circling it slowly making me cry out in pleasure as he counted the next number â8âŚâ my eyes are rolled in the back of my head my hands gripping his biceps for support digging my nails into his skin. â7âŚâ he counted purposely going slower and slower mocking me. â6⌠your doing so good princess. Feel you clenching that tight pussy around my fingersâ he laughed at me before going to the next number. â5âŚâ I think about other things other than his fingers abusing my sensitive pussy, I look around the room but canât focus on anything other then this fingers hitting my g-spot over and over and over again making my thighs tremble insanely amount.
â4âŚâ he counted going even faster making me yell in pleasure almost cumming right then and there. â3âŚâ â2âŚâ â1⌠cum for me princess wet my fingersâ he whispered making me fly over the edge tears falling from my eyes, my legs almost giving out, my moans turning into screams, and my nails almost cutting his arm. He continues to fuck me through my high dragging it out. Once I came down from my high he slips his fingers out of me bring them to his mouth moaning at the taste of my juices on his fingers. âYour so sweet princess, canât wait to taste all of itâ he growled into my ear before picking me up and throwing me on the bed. He finally slides my soaking panties off of my legs and taking off my shirt from my body. âTake this offâ he demanded snapping the elastic of my bra onto my skin.
I do as he says without hesitation, when I took it off throwing it in the pile of clothing I see him stripping himself of his clothes. He takes off his pants and shirt just leaving him in his underwear. I bite my lip tracing his abs and v-line with my eyes. âLike what you see petite filleâ he asked cockily as he takes off his underwear giving me a view of his fully erect cock. Once we were both naked he went onto his knees in front of me and circled my already simulated clit with his tongue making me moan out and tugging his hair with forces.
âSo sweet my dinner and dessertâ he mumbled against my pussy sucking my clit. His tongue makes its way through my soaking folds giving him a proper taste of me. He groaned against it the vibrations being intense. âPlease please please, need you inside of meâ I cried out pulling his hair to take his tongue out of my pussy. âMy cumslut wants my cock huhâ he said before standing back up dragging his tio through my fold, slapping it against my clit making us both hiss.
He lined his tip to my quivering hole looking at me in the eyes as I gasp. He slides his thick cock into me making me gasp from the fullness. âFuck your so tight and Iâm not even halfway inâ he groaned before sliding all the way in making me cry out. He lets me adjust to his size before slowly thrusting in and out. He pushes my stomach his hand making me feel all of him. He grabs my hand and put in on top of the bulge caused by his size âfeel that, Iâm so deep Iâm in your stomach, can you feel me in your stomach my good girlâ he asked before slowly thrusting faster and faster, he ends up pounding into my pussy making my mouth gap open no noises coming out. âS-s d-deepâ I cried feeling him in my gut tears streaming down my cheeks as I meet his thrust.
âYour squeezing me so tight Iâm not gonna last very long if you keep doing thatâ he told me before his hand goes between us and circles my clit making me wrap my legs around his waist and my nails drag down his bare back creating marks. âgonna cum please let me cum canât hold itâ I babbled so cock drunk that I can barley form sentences.
âCum for me princess Iâm right behind youâ he said before making me cum all over his cock tighten my walls around him, which triggers his orgasm making him groan and moan in my neck. As we both come down from our highs he slowly slides out making me whimper from the entry feeling. He goes to the bathroom to get a towel to clean me up. He comes back seeing his pearly white cum dripping out of my sensitive pussy. He starts cleaning me is with his towel gently knowing how sensitive I am. I start whimpering when cleans me up. âI know baby I knowâ he whispered gentle before throwing the towel to the side and grabbing a pair of his boxers putting them on and a shirt for me to wear.
He grabs both of my arms and helps me sit up straight putting the shirt on me. I look up at him extremely exhausted and fucked out from the activities we just did. âCome here my loveâ he whispered pulling me into his chest to cuddled up with him. âDid so good love, you were such a good girl, my best girlâ he whispered to me rubbing my back as I slowly fall asleep on his chest listening to his heart beat.
The next morning I wake up to him kissing my neck softly and lovingly. âMorning my dearâ he whispered softly to me. âMorningâ I said back groggily still feeling a bit tired. âOrdered you breakfast, didnât know what you like so I ordered you everythingâ he stated softly while running my fingers through my hair lovingly âthank youâ I said kissing him softly making him instantly kiss me back. âMy mom is gonna be thrilled that Iâm with youâ he mumbled softly to me.
âWith meâ I asked confused not knowing he actually thought of me that way. âYup when I said you belong to me I meant it. Not letting you go anytime soonâ he confessed softly to me making me smile at his words âokay thenâ I said cuddling up with him more. Before we both end up falling back asleep.
ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ

progression | aventurine blurb
loving aventurine was as easy as breathing to you, something incredibly hard for him to grasp. he didn't get it at all. when he first walked into your life, he had this arrogant mask up, another one of his well preserved fabrications to protect himself. he was snarky to you. not necessarily rude, but he wasn't afraid to bare his fangs and show you that he was capable of hurting you if he needed to. he wasn't afraid of hurting anyone. another gamble he was putting his faith in, that he wouldn't be put in a situation where he would have to hurt you.
you loved him during that stage. every sarcastic 'friend' he tacked on to every sentence like it was more of an insult than anything else, every boundary that he crossed of yours, every little lie he spun to keep you at arms length, trying to protect you from his teeth. words hurt less than his bite. and yet, you were there for him even when he was sure he would have pushed you away, and it unnerved him.
" aventurine ~ " you called out from behind him to get his attention, before lightly jogging up to him, standing by his side. not in front of him, but beside him. " i know you might be busy today with business as usual, but i was hoping that you were free this afternoon ? there's this new coffee shop that opened up, and i though- "
" coffee ? sorry to disappoint you, friend, but i am busy this afternoon, " he shook his head, as if dismissing the idea outright entirely.
" oh, that's okay ! i'm still able to say hi right now while we're walking, so that's enough, " you chirped, but he could hear the unmistakable sound of disappointment and sadness in your tone, making the guilt inside of him at being the one who caused your unhappiness eat him alive. but the look on his face didn't change, his walls too big to penetrate.
he did find you at that coffee shop, though. " oh, hello, friend- " he had called out, approaching your table, sitting next to you without even asking. he saw your eyes light up, and for a second he felt the warmth in his chest burst forward, his heart beating against his ribcage. " what good fortune that i was able to finish my tasks a little while ago. i didn't think you would actually come here alone. " there was a hint of confusion in his voice, but it was masked just as quickly as it came.
after this interaction, aventurine got a little awkward with you. what was he expected to say ? what did he do if he wasn't trying to push you away ? he was clumsy with his words, often just silently nodding along as you talked, and sometimes bringing up tiny points. he wasn't good at conversation when it wasn't to serve an agenda. being in survival mode his entire life, he had no idea how to be social, much less to someone as kind as you.
no matter how much he stumbled and fell over his own words, you treated him the same. he approached you cautiously, as if he was afraid that one day you would get sick of him and throw him out of your life permanently. was his personality too much for you to handle ? was he doing something wrong ? he wasn't sure, this was uncharted territory for him. all he could do was throw his dice and hope for the best outcome, something that was so comforting now unnerving. he could bet every single one of his chips, every possession he owned, including his own life, but you ? betting on you felt like one risk he wasn't willing to take.
" hey- i was at this shop a while ago, and i was hoping that you'd want to visit ? with me, of course, " aventurine asked, trying very hard not to look how pretty you looked right now, how your smile made his heart flutter every single time without fail. " i saw something i thought you might like. i wanted to get it for you but i don't know your size. "
" oh ? yeah, i'd love to go with you ! " you agreed immediately, as if everything that you were doing before this was suddenly unimportant. " but you really don't have to pay for me, honestly. i can take care of myself. "
this through him for a loop, and he hid it well, but aventurine had no idea what that meant. did you not want him to pay for you ? or were you just trying to be modest ? it wasn't like he was hungry for money, it was fine on his pockets, and he didn't mind spending if it meant spending on you, of course. besides, what did you want from accompanying him if it wasn't to buy things ? that's what friends were for, right ? it was a mutual beneficial agreement between two people to be friendly with each other to gain something from another, right ?
he was pretty sure that was how it was to be friends, but you challenged all of that. especially when you bought him a drink from a shop. he'd just mentioned it offhanded that he could go for some boba tea, and you had agreed, saying that it would be really good right now. and then you bought him his ? that's not how that was supposed to work, he was sure of it. why would you go out of your way to pay for something for him that you yourself wouldn't even get to enjoy ? he was willing to buy you things to keep you around him, but you didn't need to buy him anything to keep him around.
the possibility that you didn't want anything from him other than his time and himself was confusion, but refreshing.
eventually late night outs became late nights inside, and aventurine found himself in a precarious position, on your couch, your body on the other side, cuddling up against a pillow. the intimacy of the situation felt like it was choking him. and he finally got the courage to ask you the question that plagued him - why ? why did you care ? why did you try so hard ? what was in it for you ? putting your bets on him was a foolish decision that he couldn't rationalize. even he didn't bet on himself.
" because you're worth it, " you shrugged a little, the answer's simplicity wiping everything from him. all of his fears, his confusion, his doubts, just for this moment. right now, he understood. you never pushed him out of his comfort zone, and let your companionship evolve naturally. he didn't even realize he had let you inside of his shell before it was too late. " because you deserve it. "
he thought you were worth it, too. trusting you, putting his faith in you even though you had the ability to hurt him. it was worth it. you were worth it.

I'm going on hiatus!
It was a difficult month (few months, really) for me in terms of work. I started an illustration gig in May, with a deadline in June...I ended up finishing in September due to client issues. This job broke me, or at least landed the final blow and I am completely burnt out. Looking at art, thinking about it, makes me feel sick. I've been burnt out over the years, but it's never happened to me at this level before!
I'm no longer posting on twitter, just looking at the platform makes me want to scream and throw up, so I'm mostly on bluesky these days. I've uninstalled most social media apps from my phone and tbh I'm enjoying the silence, even if it's disconcerting.
October is my birthday month, and my gift to myself will be a much-needed (and kind of mandatory) break. I live in a two-income household, but will have to depend on my spouse financially for a while, and I'm fortunate to be in a position to do that. Whatever extra I can contribute, will be from prints and book sales. We were already scraping by, so this burnout comes at a bad time haha.
I will be pausing October billing on Patreon, so paying members will not be charged for the month. (Those of you being charged right now are being charged for September!)
While on break, I'll be travelling to see my family and dealing with various health things. I may be a bit disconnected, but the idea is to use this time to make a plan about what I can do about work in the future...maybe get some inspiration and motivation. I feel like I've been forced into this situation by my own brain, so I need to pamper it for a little bit to say sorry for not listening đ

Build-A-Bride.
Enji Todoroki X F! Reader (smut)
A/N: i can't stop writing broken enji... he's so depressed and lonely i LOVE it ^_^ isn't he just so dreamy? all downtrodden and sad? anyways this is so half-assed, sorry!
Tags: dub-con, forced/arranged marriage (sort of), age gap, mostly plot tbh (minimal smut), brief mentions of dehumanization, breeding, creampie, p in v, size difference, language barrier
Wordcount: 1.8k
Women don't like divorcĂŠs. It's a mark of failure. It brings down one's stock value. Enji's mistakes with Rei were numerous. He knew it was for the best, that he had nothing to fight for when she had the papers mailed to him. Why would he argue with her about it? The kids had all grown up and moved out. Their assets were easily separable. She did not ask for much in the split, and even if she did Enji would have given it up without pushing back.Â
He was a man defeated. What point would there be in chasing after Rei again? He did not love her; not truly, at least, and she certainly did not love him. They had been living stagnantly ever since she was released from the hospital. It would be a feat for them to even speak to each other over breakfast. Idle chat about the weather or what their adult children were doing was a rare treat.Â
Enji's life had slowed significantly. No children to fill his too-big-for-one-man house and no woman to be kept company by. Work had slowed down. Younger heroes took the top spots, slowly but surely. Even his own son was predicted to soon surpass him. Old timers, or "Golden-Age Heroes", as the media titled them, were losing fame and fortune alike. No longer the hot commodity, old was out, new was in.
He expected it, really. His goal was to be the number one hero, and he was for a while. Was it his dream to remain number one? He didn't have time to think about it before he got knocked down to a measly third place in the ranks.Â
He had thrown so much of himself into the hero life. It crossed his mind a few times, it all ending, but he never realized that it would come crashing down so soon. What friends he had, using the term very lightly, were less than helpful in his condition.Â
None less so than Hawks, of course. That damned fool.
Keigo had been dragging Enji out to these annoyingly quaint cafĂŠs for a while now. He'd force piles of biscotti and scones onto Enji's plate while blabbing on about some new excursion of his or the other, taking up the prime hours of Enji's day in the name of socializing.Â
Seldom it was that Enji left the impromptu meet-ups with anything but slight annoyance at best and utter exhaustion at worst. He could hardly pay attention to the meaningless drivel Keigo threw his way. Sometimes it was talk of the current hero ranks, which Enji immediately tuned out. Other times it was about a concert or movie Keigo was going to.Â
Lately, though, Keigo had an interest in trying to play matchmaker for Enji.Â
"You should really get out there," he said, smug little smile plastered on his cheeky face while he sipped his espresso. "You aren't getting younger."
Enji's response was the same as always, in that he was too busy and too old to be worrying about such things. "I do not have time to woo a woman like a schoolboy. I'm fine where I am," he responded with his arms resting on the cafĂŠ's comparably small table.Â
Keigo chuckled, curling his lips upwards. "You can only spend so many nights with your right hand, Endeavor."
"Shut your damned mouth."
"If you won't let me set you up with someone," Keigo said, not taking Enji's gruff tone seriously, as usual, "there is another option."
Enji pressed his mouth closed tightly, eyes narrowing into a judgmental squint. "It had better not be online dating."
Defensive hands flew up. "No, no. You've made that pretty clear, man. I'm talking about getting, like, a mail-order bride or whatever they're called."
"You do realize how much that sounds like human trafficking, right?"
"It does not! They still do it, you know. There are websites and everything."Â
Enji sighed and leaned his head back to look up at the ceiling. The idea sounded horrible. God only knew how sketchy something like that would be, and besides, how horrible were the moral implications of that? Some old bastard like himself purchasing a young girl like a farm animal.Â
It wasn't completely unheard of. Plenty colleagues of his had foreign brides ordered for them. Even his own cousins had done similar things. Hell, he wasn't far off from trying it out to get the perfect quirk marriage before he found Rei.Â
But now? It sounded cruel. Unnecessary. He already resented himself for how he treated his familyâ he didn't need to ruin the life of some other woman too.
"I am not going to order a wife," he said, voice strained, "like a spare part off of eBay. Do you not see how horrible that would look on me?"
Keigo waved his hand dismissively, unbothered. âItâs not like that. These women are looking for a chance at a better life," he explained before teasingly adding, "just like the lonely men who send for them."Â
Enji stared at him, trying to decipher if he was serious. âYou really think I'm desperate enough to buy some random woman?"
"Don't think of it like 'buying.' Think of it as rescuing. How will the press feel about that, hm? Imagine the headline: âEndeavor, the hero with a heart, saves a foreign damsel in distress by bringing her to Japan to live a new life of riches and mind-blowing sex!'"
"You disgust sometimes, you little brat."
Keigo leaned over the table, teeth flashing briefly as he spoke. "Just think about it, okay? I'll send you some links tonight." He got up and pushed his chair in with his foot. "Besides, I'm tired of being your only friend. These little 'dates' of ours are cutting majorly into my work."Â
Keigo had compiled a ridiculously long list of websites and companies that specialized in international marriage deals. He had definitely committed to the bit too much or he had researched this topic heavily before presenting it to Enji via text.
Either way, Enji peered at his cell phone screen in distaste. Link after link, scrolling through the masterlist Hawks compiled, he just felt more unsure of the idea. The names of the sites left a strange feeling in his gut.Â
GoldenBride, Rose Brides, Latidate. For fuck's sake, UkraineBride4You dot com? "Legitimate & Cheapest Mail Order Bride Sites! Click here for more!"Â
He clicked his phone off. The light from the vibrant ads and taglines disappeared from his face as quickly as they appeared, leaving him in the dark of his bedroom. He didn't speak, he just stayed in his bed, leaning on the headboard in silence.Â
He had gotten used to his house being quiet. It was never especially loud, but at least when the kids still lived at home, he could hear the sounds of life. Of Shoto's feet padding through the halls. The sound of Fuyumi's books opening and closing. Natsuo's grumbling under his breath. Proof that he had gotten them all this farâ that he had done something right for them.Â
No. He couldn't stay this way, living in the dark silence, figuratively and literally. He turned his phone back on and clicked the highlighted link with the least concerning name.Â
Well, you were just the perfect little thing, weren't you? Young, pretty, doe-eyed, and sweet. After perusing a website that looked less criminal than he thought it would, Enji decided on you. He had to have you.Â
You stood out immediately from the pages of other women. All of them were, of course, gorgeous. They would not be advertised if they weren't. You, though. There was something about you. You were smallâEnji liked thatâbut not frail. Built for carrying children was what you were, he decided, with your soft curves and buxom build.Â
Your profile did not give much away. Basic information and a little greeting. It intrigued him enough, so clearly it worked.Â
The two of you chatted for a few weeks, if you could call it that. There was little getting to know each other and more plane tickets being purchased and pick up times being arranged. To say that you had him hooked was an understatement, especially considering the only tools you had to connect with him were shitty translations of your language to his from Google and emojis.Â
Everything about you read as gentle. Docile. Probably the only personality Enji was equipped to deal with. He would just die if married to a combative woman. His enemies would love to see him nestled up with a loud, abrasive one with a temper to match his own.Â
No, you would do quite nicely, with your limited speaking and non-provoking nature. You were the perfect escape, a blank canvas onto which he could project his hopes for a new life onto. He could start a family over again. He could fix his mistakes and move on. Maybe, just maybe, he could forgive himself.
The flood of ideas filled him each time his phone buzzed with your messages, even if they were often short and punctuated by misunderstandings and screwy sentences due to poor translations. He found himself counting the days until your plane would take off to bring you to him, to his home. He had plans for you.
Things moved quickly with your new husband. Just last week your flight landed. Then you were  saying "I do," and now he had you bent in positions unimaginable.Â
He worked fast. His hands were large and rough, but God, they were efficient. Thick fingers rubbed at your clit. A thicker cock  prodded at your entrance. You wriggled beneath him a bit, eyes widening at the stretch.Â
You didn't have the words to tell him you were a virgin, but you didn't have the desire to stop him either.Â
"Hold still, you," he said, voice gentle in comparison to how rough his strokes were. "You've got to let it adjust."Â
Even if you could understand his words, the heat burning your ears drowned out any sound completely. Fullness filled you everywhere. Like a missing piece you never knew you didn't have.Â
"Ah, you still aren't broken in yet for me," he muttered to himself. He watched as your struggles to swallow him into your walls. "Virgin, yeah?"
You mumbled incoherently to yourself, feeling his words cast over your face. More or less, you understood the tone of his words and hummed in agreement, hands playing with your tits absent mindedly.Â
Pain tinted moans escaped you. Enji felt good, sure, but a warmth of discomfort passed through you with every inch of him. Your mind told you yes, but your body tried to reject him. He was simply too big, and too much.Â
Not that it would stop him.Â
He spat on his length to ease the friction. A steady hand stayed over your clit, abusing it to the point of overstimulation. He wanted this to be pleasurable for you, but he had a goal in mind.Â
The load or two he had pumped into you earlier wasn't enough. He wouldn't dare give up yet, especially not with the adrenaline rush hearing you whine gave him.Â
Besides, your plane ticket was expensive. He planned on getting paid back in spades.

ââŚââŚâ˘ââŚââŚââŁâŚââŚââââ˘âŚââŚâ
NFL QB Jake 'Hangman' Seresin AU x Popstar F!Reader
Summary: NFL Quarterback Jacob Seresin is in hot water from a streak of bad decisions, just as you go through the worst public breakup of your life. With people slandering both of your reputations, your publicists hatch a plan to bring both of you back into favor and keep the heat off until spring - that is if you can keep up the facade.
Word Count: 5,334 words
Author Note: I know I have two other outstanding Top Gun fics and I swear I'm trying to get those going but I am writing what sparks joy and well.... this certainly does. || Also!! Reader's stage name is 'Celeste' with 'Este' as the nickname. So no one gets confuseddddd
ââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚââŚâ
You'd never anticipated to start the biggest year of your life absolutely gutted, yet here you are. Your boyfriend â well, ex-boyfriend, severed what you had thought to be a loving, trusting and safe relationship, rather unexpectedly on New Year's Eve. Then he'd gone to the press to relay that you were a horrible person, a terrible girlfriend, too involved in your work to even bother paying attention to anyone else. The timing couldn't be worse, since you were about to start your first ever stadium tour in the spring.Â
The result had been you hiding away in your little oasis that was your condo in Californiaâs southern escape of San Diego. Youâd stayed off the internet, binging TV shows that youâd been too busy to pay attention to and immersing yourself in anything you could, to erase the four year relationship youâd been splintered from. The garbage people probably wondered why there were a near dozen empty quarter pints of ice cream in your recycling bin, but that wasnât for them to care about. At least youâd recycled them.Â
Now, three weeks into the new year, with your favorite Chinese on the way, you sit on your couch going over tour visuals. Your lighting engineer is rambling on the line as you hear the gate buzzer go off. Youâre quick to collect your dinner as one of the others on the line gasp and quickly mute their mic. âWhat?â You quip, walking to your expansive kitchen and dropping the large paper bag down. Youâre half paying attention when the employee brushes you off, as your hand pulls container after container of food from the magical Mary Poppins-style bag. Getting to the bottom, you grasp for a pair of chopsticks, only to find several sets of them, along with a dozen fortune cookies. You take a moment to look over your four entrees and styrofoam container of sushi. The audacity of them to think you would be sharing any of this.Â
Finally, you address the matter of your dramatic tech director. âWhatâs the deal over there Hollywood?â You chide, before your phone is ringing, leaving you to hang up the video call to answer the phone. Itâs your publicist and you know better than to let her calls go unanswered.
âCheck your inbox.â Her voice is frigid instead of itâs usually cheery demeanor.  Â
âHello to you too?â Begrudgingly, you do as she commands, finding the email she sent to you.Â
Jonah Carter agreed to sit down for an interview with UsWeekly, post-breakup to clear the air and to make sure no one else would fall for his ex-girlfriend's (Celeste) playful, girl-next-door-ish facade.
"At first, it felt like a dream come true," Carter, an up-and-coming actor within his own right, said almost sheepishly. "I thought she was talented and kind, but I should've known it was too good to be true."
But there's more to this pop-star than Jonah says meets the eye. In addition to the vanity and self-importance that seems to plague this generation's starlets, Este was a vindictive slob who routinely talked behind the back of even her closest friends. "It makes me wonder what she's saying about me, now, after everything I've heard her say about those who think are closest to her." The concern for others is written very clearly on the actorâs face as he speaks. When I question the songstressâ messages about authenticity, the man adjusts in his seat as he holds back a laugh.Â
"She'd like you to believe she writes all her own music, but I'm not sure she could write a full sentence without the help of her team," Jonah chuckled nervously into his coffee. "Sorry, that was rude. I don't want to stoop to her level." Cowed brown eyes made me wonder what else he had endured behind closed doors. It struck a chord within me.Â
âWhy did you stay as long as you had if this was what you were facing?â I ask him. The expression of his kind features morphs into despair.Â
âWhen we first met, Celeste was someone I admired. Her compassion, her drive and her dedication to the things she valued spoke so deeply to what I did, what I still do-â he fumbles as he attempts to source the proper words, âThey just⌠werenât her beliefs. They were her teamâs.â Jonah lets out a pained sound, âI think when we got toward the end of it, I realized that she has this way of manipulating what she says, how she acts, to make herself look good. She puts on a show, on and off the stage and you pay for it one way or another. So, I knew what she was capable of. I knew she could be that person if she really wanted to and I wanted so badly to help her see that. I eventually learned that people see what they want to see.â
God, what a load of hot garbage this was. It was a particularly rare batch, clearly it had been baking in a dumpster in the scorching sun with the lid closed. All damp, with a horrendous mix of something rotting and old crusty seaweed.Â
The tour was supposed to be announced on the first of the month and here your ex was selling stories (horribly narrated and mangled stories) to the press. You might as well have been kicking puppies at this point.Â
âIsnât he just swell? Nothing but peak wisdom from good olâ Jonah.â Your eyes couldâve strained themselves with how far back they rolled. Probably the only time heâd ever made them do that too.
âIâve already called a team together to brainstorm. I don't want you to respond. Stay offline, away from all of it and don't entertain any of the discourse. Not until I have something to work with.âÂ
âNone of it is true we both know that-â You begin to laugh but she cuts you off.
âAs much as I want to be on your side here, we are working to put out a fire. Your silence the last three weeks has put you at a massive disadvantage and frankly? The public eye doesnât see you in the greatest space right now.â You know sheâs right. She always is, and right now âCelesteâ was synonymous with âcynical, fake and fraudulentâ. You wouldnât be shocked if the uproar demanded you be canceled based off of this testimony.Â
It wasnât all but two days later that you were called in by your PR team. Into the office in New York for the first time since before Thanksgiving. It had been a busy end of the year and now that the new one was coming in so ferociously you werenât looking toward any of the things you once had been. This was the first time back into the light and so you had made sure that the inevitable cameras had something to look at. Youâd dressed yourself in your favorites, in an effort to boost your confidence as best as you could. Putting on a show, just like you had been when things had been on the rocks with Jonah.Â
ââŚââŚââââŚââŚââââŚââŚâŁâââŚââŚââââââ˘âŚââŚâââââŚââŚâ
Getting to the office, youâre nearly trampled with the amount of people that swarm you. Itâs not normally this bad - hell itâs never this bad. It isnât until you catch sight of a football jersey and an ESPN logo that your brow furrows. Odd.Â
Stepping into the building, youâre pushing your sunglasses up onto your head, looking down at your ringing phone and trying to slide your coat off simultaneously. Instead, you crash right into what you think is a wall, but is instead a broad man, looking rather lost.Â
âEasy there, Twinkle Toes.â You guffaw and look up at the blonde man before returning your eyes toward your feet. Of course, the bedazzled statement boots on your feet call attention to themselves before the rest of the outfit can balance itself out.Â
âAlright, Prince Charming, you first.â You snicker before stepping out of his way and start to the elevator. Unfortunately for you, heâs apparently heading your way as well, needing access to the lift to the next floor.Â
âPrince Charming, huh? I mean Iâve been called worse.â His shoulders roll backwards as the elevator dings to one of the other floors. You keep your head trained forward, suddenly remembering the rule youd been given. Stay quiet, donât engage. And here you were giving sass to a stranger and showing up in bedazzled booties. You were really digging this grave deeper than necessary. So, instead of giving him another sassy response, you keep your eyes locked to the neon numbers as the elevator passes each floor. âOh so, now Iâm getting a cold shoulder? Darn, I was really ready to ask you all about the boots on your feet, too.â You canât help but let your eyes move back over to the broad male, just out of the corner of your eye. His face is completely locked on you, shamelessly at that. âThey expensive? They got that waxy red paint on the bottoms of âem?â Silently, you turn one of your feet up to give him a glimpse at the blue bottom of the shoe. âHuh, blue. Thatâs fun. That more expensive than the LouButton or whatever they are?â Finally the elevator reaches your floor, hopefully shutting this chatterbox up for the time being. Yet the questions continue like an immature toddler as you rise up the floors - going to the same floor nonetheless. âHey, youâre that Celeste chick arenât ya?âÂ
âYes.â You finally answer one of his questions, his face lighting up.
âOh look at that, she cracks.â Another eye roll times well with the sound of the elevator reaching the desired floor. Instead of responding, you quickly find your way through the glass hallways and to the desired room. You are so glad to be in the presence of the familiar group, the stranger in the elevator having rattled your composure somewhat. Your manager comes in with a cup of coffee and a smile, which immediately puts one on yours.Â
âYou didnât have to do that!â You cheer, reaching out for it as she sits beside you.Â
âWhen you see what Rachel has come up with, youâre going to need it.â Oh. Reassuring.Â
You see her point when Prince Charming steps into the board room, followed by a host of men in dress clothes and suits, all matching the blue soles of your boots. Charming sits directly across from you, a hand wiggling his fingers as he waves at you. Oh good.Â
âThank you everyone for coming. I know this is a very polarizing group, so before we get ahead of ourselves, I want to introduce Celeste, or Este as we all have come to call her over the years.â Awkwardly, you wave at the foreign men. They grunt and nod. You were already having doubts and not a word had been spoken on their end. âI also want to introduce Beau Simpson, public relations coordinator for the San Diego Sea Lions, Coach Natasha Trace, and Sea Lions owner, Tom Kazansky.â
Sea Lions? As in the NFL team that had been built not even three years ago but had made it to all three playoffs in their short time? The one that Jonah had ridiculed immensely when it joined the league because âCalifornia doesnât need another group of inflated egos in the leagueâ?Â
âIâm really feeling the love here, Rach.â Charming speaks up and the raven haired woman on the other side of the table sighs.Â
âThis is Jacob Seresin, starting quarterback for the Sea Lions.â The coach speaks, the blonde man brushing off her introduction.Â
âNo need for full names, Trace. Clearly we only do the stage name around here.â That was a clear jab to you if youâd ever heard it. âHangmanâs what they call me.â His hand juts across the glass, toward you. Your hands stay tucked under your biceps.Â
âPleasure to meet you.â Itâs passive, turning to your team leader. âRachel. Iâm not seeing a connection here.âÂ
âJacob is in the same pot of hot water youâre in.â Your attention moves to the similarly broad man who stands up, towering over Rachel. âWe feel as though we can spin this to both of your advantages. Jake needs to stop sleeping aroundââ
âEasy now, Simpson.â The eldest in the room stands up and he gives you a kind smile. Itâs not a farce though. Youâre not entirely sure what makes it so genuine, but you smile in return of seeing him stand, despite it taking a slight bit of effort to do so. âWhat he means is, Jakeâs professional status has changed due to the words of someone else and weâre determined to alter that. Rachel identified this and made quite the proposal.â The young woman seems all too cheery to cut off the old man.Â
âYouâre both having relationship woesââ The raven haired woman on Jacobâs team speaks under her breath.Â
âWouldnât call them relationships.â
âAnd by putting you two together, we feel as though we can put you into a positive light. Letâs face it, putting two very successful, and attractive people who are already in the spotlight allows people to follow the developing love story. Este attends games, plays the WAG card, has an opportunity to be seen in the public eye more frequently and dispels the ill-spoken words that were published about her this week. Jake gets the proof that he isnât just a love-em-and-leave-em type.â Your eyes spell out the doubt youâre feeling, looking at your team who is just as skeptical. âThatâs just the beginning! Celeste is going on tour this year. Stadiums all across the country have her booked and ready for the summer. We have a captive audience already following these games to see Este and Jake together, and we get brand recognition. The conversations that will come as she gets to witness her betrothed play in a stadium she would be performing in that very summer.â
Now you see where the benefit actually is. Clearing your name while simultaneously promoting your tour in the process. Seeing stadiums youâve booked and would hopefully sell out.Â
âSo how are you proposing this works? Weâll need a start, an end - a story on how we metââ
âWell,â Beau settles in his seat, twisting in the desk chair as he draws in the attention of the group, âwe have the major details hypothesized. Rachel and I will work with one another to get the rest of it together. For now, you two met at a New Years Eve party.âÂ
Oh joy. Now you get to remember that bitter break-up that led you here, every time you speak about him.Â
The man looks like he walked out of a surfing magazine, as it were. Now, the scowl on his features paints him as a devil. Long hair, muscular arms on display as he leans into the table in front of him.Â
âIf we donât do this?â Jake leans back in his chair, a hand coming to fiddle with the lingering 5 oâclock shadow that he has omitted in his morning routine.Â
âWe donât do this and there will be a lack of support for the Sea Lions. Youâll have painted the entire team as jackasses who canât focus to save their life, especially if you continue to party and hook up with whomever your dick has the hots for that night-â Beau has gone off the handle and Tom speaks up again.Â
âThe point is, public favor will stay low and it will not bode well for the team. With a lack of support, we have empty seats. Empty seats translates to less viewers, then to less money and you know the song and dance. Not to mention morale for the upcoming playoffs. We need to keep the team happy, Hangman. Itâs time to do something to benefit everyone.âÂ
Jakeâs expression deepens, as though he was a young child just scolded by his father for his poor behavior. Green eyes shift and face you, his hand jutting out toward you.Â
âIâm in.â His hand hovers. Waiting for you to join him in this grand scheme. Glancing at your own team, they look rather haunted. At this point, it was this or to hope that a long string of possible good stories and fan interactions can redeem you.Â
You want this to pass. And if this would make it go faster⌠you grab Jakeâs hand firmly.
âWhatâs there to lose?â
ââŚââŚâĄââââŁâŚââŚâââŁââŚââŚââââââŚââŚâ
You went back onto social media. Posted some photos youâd taken with friends back at the beginning of the month, from the worst party of your life. The photos at least were cute and you loved the dress youâd gotten to wear. Luckily these photos were all taken prior to midnight. So there were no red eyes. No ruined mascara and glitter across your cheeks. No freezing car rides home and empty beds.Â
Mindlessly, you scroll through the comments.Â
Flameth: can still make the whole place shimmer â¨
RunTao: phony photos
Romanacent: so glad to see youâre not letting him get to you!
H_ngm_n: youâre still gonna let me borrow those boots right
Itâs the last one youâd been keeping an eye out for. Boots? Looking back at the photo, you scroll through the carousel until you spot them.Â
The same shiny sparkly rhinestone boots youâd worn to your meeting.Â
Celeste: @h_ngm_n Iâm a woman of my word, of course đ¤
Not even a week goes by before youâre âspontaneouslyâ at a bar in LA. Jake has been there for the last two hours, as he insisted you both show up alone and then end up leaving together. You eventually found him in the VIP section, drinking with his buddies.Â
You made sure to keep your distance for a few minutes - after all, his friends had no idea this was going down. The only people who knew about this little arrangement were your respective PR teams. That was it. No one else from your teams, your friends and family, absolutely no one knew what your little plan was. Maybe you should just leave. It was a verbal contract, you didnât sign anything, you were just trying to make this work for the two of you-
The bartender pulls you from your deliberations. There is now a drink that you certainly didnât order sitting in front of you. Well there was no going back now. Jake had likely made a show of sending over the drink and now you had to go through with this. Glancing over your shoulder, you see the jock, legs spread, arms resting on the back of the booth chair. Green eyes lock in your direction and send a cocky wink as a garnish to your drink.Â
You are about to win your first Oscar with this performance. Throwing on a grin, you pick up the drink and easily sashay your way over to him and his football buddies. Some flash titanium wedding bands, some platinum. Some arenât wearing them at all, like your date, mister 83 who leans forward upon your approach. âWell, well, well, long time no see hot shot.â
âSpeak for yourself, pop star.â Jake stands to greet you, his arms coming around you, carefully as to not spill either of your drinks. You catch a whiff of his cologne when he does so. Itâs rich, familiar in the way it reminds you of summers camping. Bonfire smoke and smores. Yet clean, like when you came home to a clean house, citrus floor cleaner lingering in the halls. Pulling back, you almost move forward again to sit in it. Easy does it.Â
âOh come on, three weeks isnât that long.â You chide. While most of his body has pulled away from the hug, his free hand still sits on your waist, warm against the AC of the exclusive bar.Â
âTechnically it was a year ago.â Jake smirks before taking a sip of his drink and you want to groan. So you do. But spin it into something more playful.Â
âObservant, are we?â You nearly snarl as you take a sip of your drink, Jakeâs colleagues standing up. The one whoâd sat right next to him grins and extends a hand. Heâs tall, lean but has a stunning smile as he steps your way.
âNot sure weâve met. Javy Machado, running back, San Diego Sea Lions-â the blonde looks at his friend with an amused scoff.Â
âI think she knows who the Sea Lions are, Jav.â The look on the captainâs face is one of skepticism and amusement. You were here to dispel rumors. So, as much as youâd like to smack Jake for being a dick to his friend, you shake his teammateâs hand insteadÂ
âIn passing. I donât follow football closely, but I get by. Celeste.â The smile on your face is genuine as the next player stands. Kind eyes, a domestic bar of hair on his upper lip and the build of a pickup truck, he goes for a quick one armed hug. When he lets go, you have to wipe the temptation of any swooning you were compelled to do. Especially since a gold band glistens on his left hand.Â
Youâre here for Jake anyways.Â
âNameâs Bradley Bradshaw. They call me Rooster.â Your eyebrow furrows as your head twists. Before you can ask, another man on the other side of the room laughs.Â
âYou should hear him on the field when heâs sacking someone.â This one, curls and meticulously groomed facial hair to boot, leans forward and shakes your hand kindly. âIâm Mickey. That back there is Bob.â Â
True to his word, at the end of the bench is a long haired man, tucked into his phone and fiddling with a ring. He doesnât seem to match the energy of the rest of the group. Curious. âBob!â He glances up at the sound of his name, blue eyes flitting from face to face before spotting you. When he does he breaks out into a smile.Â
âCeleste! Gosh, wow itâs so cool to meet you! My girls adore your music.â This catches Jakeâs attention, a brow popping up.Â
âArenât both of âem less than five?â He asks and Bob looks between the two of you.Â
âYeah? Itâs never too early to introduce them to great music and influential women.â Thereâs no faking the smile on your face as you reach over and shake his hand. When you do, you look at Jake with a âwould you look at thatâ coded grin.Â
âThatâs amazing to hear! Iâm glad they have fun with it! Thatâs why I do it.â You glance back at Jake as he comes behind you, hand shifting to the small of your back.Â
âPayâs in the bathroom, Iâm sure youâll meet him sometime later tonight.â The quarterback gives a nod to his group, before guiding the two of you to a high top table not too far from them. When you sit down he looks at you with a laugh. âFlirt much?âÂ
âExcuse me?â Jumping to the defense, you watch Jake roll his eyes and then look back at Bradley, before facing you.Â
âYou were practically eye-fucking him.âÂ
âWas not.âÂ
âHeâs happily married, leave him be.â The blonde sips at his drink and you canât help but laugh when you realize heâs giving you a hard time.Â
âRight, right, guess Iâll bother you instead.â The tease is off your lips in two seconds. Maybe he was right, you were coming off strong. You huff and sink into yourself briefly. âI donât know if you realized this, but I havenât had âflirtâ,â your fingers mark the quotation marks in the air, âwith anyone in a while. Let alone fake it.âÂ
Jake leans back in his chair, downing the rest of his beverage a smirk making way when he sets the glass down.Â
âDonât worry, you wonât be faking it for long.âÂ
The two of you sat at that table for probably an hour, bickering over which of the Pirates of The Caribbean movies were the best, and why glitter was a detriment to society. Another round of drinks and the football star return to the table as he laughs when he spills a little of your overflowing drink.Â
âNo, no I assure you. Glitter originated in some high tech nuclear weapons factory to make the enemy go insane upon introducing it to an environment.â He pushes your drink toward you as you pull your hair back. Not only were you not anticipating for him to be this passionate about it, but you werenât planning on the night going like this.Â
You were enjoying yourself. Jake had told you about his time at UT, six years spent studying communications no less.Â
It made sense when you really dissected it. Jake had the ease to hold someoneâs attention: heâd held yours this long after all, and he was well spoken. Both were things that were shocking to you. He soon enough revealed the plan had always been football. Communications was for post-retirement, when he got tired out and wanted to be back in the stadiums.Â
Stories of his dad commentating his high school games came fondly before he asked about your background. You were a bit hesitant to divulge too much, but what you had was pretty bare-bones.Â
Music had always been a hobby but never a career choice. Youâd planned to go into school for a degree in education, a masters in English. Go and teach for a bit before getting your PhD in some niche of the world of writing and then become a professor at your alma mater.Â
With the rise of social media and the multitudinous connections of the internet, a little original song of yours got popular. Local radio picked it up and then your label signed you.Â
âIt all was pretty spontaneous, really,â you answer. âMy career was in no way by design, but⌠I wouldnât change it.â The smile on your face is small, but genuine as your hair falls back around your face. Tracing the rim of your glass, you keep your eyes down before a hand pushes your hair out of your face. Coming eye to eye with him, he grins.Â
âGuess it was written in the stars then.â His response catches you. Jakeâs eyes are much softer than when youâd approached him earlier. They were dark, focused and possibly a little mischievous. Now? They were gentle. Every shade reassured you that the boisterous man youâd seen in the office and the press was nothing like the man under the helmet.Â
It made far more sense to you now. How heâd gotten women hooked on him. The abrasiveness and bold exterior was the casing to the real character.Â
How many women had actually made it past the outside?
The rustling of a fabric on leather comes from in front of you, watching as the blonde pulls out a wad of cash from his pocket.Â
âPlease tell me this isnât you trying to buy my affection there, Seresin.â As he stands up, pushing his wallet back, the grin carved on his face doesnât leave when he shakes his head.Â
âNo, no, princess. This is for the bartender. Turns out youâre not a cheap date.â His knuckles wrap onto the table briefly before he disappears. You blame the blush on your face on the humidity inside the building.Â
The two of you bid your goodbyes, before starting to the front of the bar to exit. Reaching the street, itâs expectantly empty. He takes the side closest to the street as the two of you head down the way, toward the row of restaurants and shops that were quiet for the night.Â
âAre you hungry?â Jakeâs voice breaks through the cold of late January air, looking at him quizzically.Â
âIf youâre hungry we could go back-â His hand comes to your back again as he shakes his head.Â
âOh-ho, no maâam I promise, Iâve got something way better.âÂ
ââŚââŚâââ¤âââŁâŚââŚâ¤ââŚââŚâââŚââŚââŚââŚââââââŁâŚââŚâ
Unfortunately, he was right. The two of you stand in the glow of food truck lighting, beyond messy tacos in hand. Heâs watching you with a smirk on his face, obnoxiously chewing the fish taco in his hand.Â
âIs that not the best taco youâve ever had?â Again, his voice is filled with ardor as he watches you attempt to maneuver the soft corn tortilla that seems to be spilling into your napkin.Â
âItâs⌠a taco.â You shrug, looking down at the brown beef meal in your hands. Jake shakes his head, still chewing.Â
âNo, no, I will not have you slander Gansoâs Tacos. Absolutely not.â He sets his red basket down on a table, hand in a vice grip around his taco. âHere, open,â he maneuvers closer and you shake your head, backing up.Â
âI am not eating your taco!â
âEat it!!â The two of you laugh. Finally, you concede and take a bite of the hand fed taco. When he finally takes it back to his plate, his expression eagerly waits for your reaction. One hand covers your mouth as you chew, nodding as Jake looks like he just stole the Mona Lisa without getting caught.Â
âYouâre right.â One singular fist to the air and heâs back to scarfing down his tacos.Â
âI told you. Way better than bar food. This is by far the best taqueria in all of California. And I stand by that.âÂ
With full stomachs and messy hands, the two of you start back toward the bar, where Jakeâs parked. When you do, you finally notice a car has been tailing the two of you since you ordered your meal.Â
The crowd in front of the bar proves that your teams were certainly on to something. Flashes of light start in an onslaught, your hand coming to block your eyes. Still, you keep walking toward them, only for Jake to grab your hand and guide you toward his car.Â
ââŚââŚââââ˘âŁââââŚââŚâââŚââŚâ¨ââ¤âĄâŚââŚâââââŚââŚâ
Voices shout, questions sail through the air, your name, his name, Jonahâs, more questions about football- it all gets crammed into the cacophony before the passenger door opens under Jakeâs hand, guiding you to your escape pod.Â
The driver side door causes the car to shake with an unceremonious thud. In seconds, the engine to the sports car is ignited and the two of you are underway.Â
It isnât until you get about two miles out that one of you finally speaks.Â
âHow long do you think itâs going to take for those to show up online?â White lines on the road disappear as you head further and further from the bars and closer to the hotel you were staying at for the weekend.Â
âI give it maybe six hours. Four if weâre lucky.â He laughs, but it doesnât match the hearty ones he shared with you earlier.
A sports broadcast plays lowly on the radio, both of you overwhelmed by the cameras that stimulating conversation was far from what either of you were concerned with. It isnât long until you spot your hotel. Jake navigates into the lane closest to the front of the building, pressing down on the brakes. Youâre just about to unbuckle when he pulls back out into the other lane, lurching forward and away from your accommodation.Â
âUm. Hello?â You question. The car whips around a turn, green eyes fixated to the rear view. Shifting in your seat, you glance behind you.Â
âWeâre being followed.â Jake just barely makes the light before it turns red, leaving the tailing SUV behind.Â
âItâs probably just paparazzi, no big deal.â Itâs easy to shrug off for you, but Jake huffs.Â
âYeah. And Iâm not dropping you off at a hotel alone with vultures circling.â Navigating the CarPlay in the vehicle, he quickly moves to messages and asks his phone to send someone to your hotel to gather your things.Â
âJake, Iâm-â
âYouâre staying with me.â

continuing my read of Anne Lister's diaries, now up to 1820 (part 1 here).
It has to be incredibly awkward at these houseparties where Anne has had liaisons with multiple women there, but I'm given to understand this is also how modern lesbian socializing works
It gets brought up that the only thing preventing Anne and Mariana from living together (at least in retrospect) was money, with Anne needing to be able to provide ~30 pounds a year for Mariana, which sheds a new light on how focused Anne is on her financials and potential inheritance
Class keeps coming up! Mariana would be okayish with Anne having a lowerclass girl on the side, but not someone in their social circles
Notably Anne did not encode this passage: "Sat up lovemaking, she conjuring me to be faithful, to consider myself as married, & always to act to other women as if I was M---'s husband." And from then on she does! They talk it over a bit more through the next few days, and from then Anne focuses on how in time they may live together, and refers to Mariana as her wife
Mariana's later letters also reflect this: "I shall not lose you, my husband, shall I? Oh, no, no. You will not, cannot, forget I am your constant, faithful, your affectionate wife."
It is noted again that Anne has a gentleman's manners towards other women, and there's a bit where a woman stops to visit Mariana and says that other girls are scared of Anne, particularly citing her "deep-toned voice as very singular"
"Yet my manners are certainly peculiar, not at all masculine but rather softly gentleman-like. I know how to please girls." No one every accused Anne Lister of lacking self-confidence! Also, interesting to see the Takarazuka-style butch ethos of "woman who is better at being a man then men are" already present here.
"Musing on the subject of being my own master. Of going to Buxton in my own carriage with a man & a maidservant. Meeting with a elegant girl of family & fortune; paying her attention;taking her to see Castleton; staying all night; having a double bedroom; gaining her affections, etc. Mused on all this but did not let it lead to anything worse."
one of Anne's acquaintances mentions a local cook/housekeeper, Mrs Ruspin, who after several years "turn[ed] out to be a man", and then eloped to London with the housemaid and opened a shop
The most common word in this book is probably vulgar. Anne thinks everyone is vulgar: her neighbors, her family, random townsfolk, girls she's flirting with...
We now come to the house party from sitcom-hell: present are Anne Lister, Isabella (her longterm ex who she's trying to extricate herself from), Isabella's sister Charlotte, Nantz (the sister of Anne's wife, who Anne had a brief fling with), Nantz's sister Harriet, and Miss Vallance (new and pretty).
I truly cannot summarize the amount of fuckery going on in this section. Anne spends every evening hanging out for a bit in someone's bedroom, then she'll switch rooms and whoever the new room belongs too will pout about her having been somewhere else beforehand. Anne is paying a lot of attention to Miss Vallance, Isabella and Nantz are jealous, Anne is trying to console Isabella without changing any of her behavior, Charlotte is indignant on Isabella's behalf, Anne is half-heartedly and smugly sleeping with Nantz, etc
And of course Anne caps this off by starting to flirt with Harriet, meaning that she has now hit on all four of her wife's sisters
