Doey headcanons bc my son is crying

Doey cries offscreen and when he does, his tears are either red, yellow or orange based on what hes feeling: angry + crying = kevin (red), sad + crying = jack (yellow), emptiness or burnout or regrets + crying = matthew (orange) he usually cries during the first months after the hour of joy

Kevin—the kid/humanoid with the angry eyes in Doey's monster form—glows the brightest among the three cuz he's consumed by anger (ik it doesnt exist in his model but imagine💔)

Altho its already shown thru a tape, Doey often does self-therapy and self-talking to comfort himself whenever he's distressed. Since he's the role model of the safe haven (after poppy was captured), he was always expected to remain calm in most situations. And he does it so well that almost no one can sense whether he's stressed or not. He may also not talk much about his feelings cuz he doesnt want to cause any more distress among the already distressed toys.

Blud is ALWAYS confused at what he should feel or think but he just hides it well in the game. And before being promoted as the leader, he mightve always answered "i dont know" to most questions he has no knowledge to answer to or whenever he's in a new situation. Jack is panicking badly but Matthew also tries to calm him down and take reign of Doey. Until anger reaches his head for Kevin to move,,,,, He's just as distressed as the other toys, he was just used to it

He hugs himself cuz he has no one to hug 😭😭😭 he's often outside, searching for scraps of food

He prolly hates himself too, adding his confusion with himself

Also i have a lil bit of observation for the experiments nos. Those with 1100 to 1199 seem to have no ability to talk while those above 1200 have it so. Meaning their experiments were getting more advanced and painful😭😭 (1006 aint counter cuz he has some kind of robotic voice box mimicker)

The fact that some of Macaque's "clones" are so weirdly affectionate of Wukong and MK only serves to confuse them more. Like, it gets to the point that every time Macaque appears in S1-S3, the two little shadows can and will tackle either Wukong or MK for cuddles. In the scene where Macaque attacks them while in Sandy's airship and is focusing entirely on MK because he now knows Wukong is pregnant, the cubs have the job of keeping Wukong occupied and they do so by, what else, pinning himnto the ground like Baba-Macaque wants and full on nuzzling and purring as they don't get to see 'Wukong-Mama" a lot because Baba is so mad/sad whenever Wukong comes into conversation altho it doesn't stop him and them from spying on Wukong-Mama from a the shadows. MK and Mei are fighting for their lives in the episode where they get separated, and Rumble and Savage are hanging around Pigsy, Tang, and Wukong and enjoying seeing him acting so silly with Amnesia. It's only during the Lantern City Talent Show that Wukogn realizes they aren't just weirdly affectionate clones.

these clones do seem to pin/tackle Wukong a lot.

I imagine in the SlowBoiled au - the tackling is a little more gentle given what Macaque knows by then. Wukong def notices that the two clones are still very affectionate to him and MK - and has his suspicions all the way back during S1.

In S3 when the gang gets separated; Macaque instructs the "clones" (even he's figured out that not true) to stay with Wukong while he chases MK. The Twins are delighted! Papa is giving them time to spend with Wukong-Mama! Clearly, their plans to repair the troop is working.

Pigsy, Tang, and Mo quickly notice the two stowaways and at first react with fear/anger at their presence - only for the two Macaque-shaped shadows to cock their heads with confusion, chirping like baby monkeys as they shrink to the size of cats. Wukong had already been in astral meditation at this point, so he's not able to recognise the twins' presence, even as they curl on his crossed legs and pick through his fur. The twins hoot sadly, thinking that their new "Mama" is ignoring them.

As Pigsy and Tang try to wrap their heads around the situation, the twins accidentally wake Wukong from his meditation, trying to get his attention. Tang is ofc kidnapped by Scorpion Queen in the confusion. Wukong awakens, memory fractured, and sees what he thinks is part of his Pilgrim troop, and a pair of unfamiliar baby monkeys.

Amnesiac!Wukong: "Oh! When did you two get here? You smell awfully familiar." (*sniff sniff*) "Macaque! You smell like him! Did he send you ahead to make peace?" Rumble & Savage: (*delighted chattering!*) Amnesiac!Wukong, with a wistful/worried tone: "Oh plums... do you... have a mama? Or another parent?" Rumble & Savage: (*look between each other, confused. Both shake their heads and leap into Wukong's arms, chattering a short explanation*) Amnesiac!Wukong, shocked: "Ehh?! He brought you into this world himself?! Then he managed what I've been trying to do! No wonder he sent you to find me! Oh I'm so happy!" Rumble & Savage: (*chirp a cautious question*) Amnesiac!Wukong, smiling: "Of course! I'd be delighted to be your Mama! I can't wait for Macaque to arrive so we can all be together as a family! The Stalwarts will be so glad!" (*Wukong cuddles the twins tight, all three monkeys purring*) Pigsy: "Err... Monkey? "Master" is still missing." Wukong, sighs: "Okay... c'mon cubs, I need to save Master Tripitaka. The rest of the Amnesia Rules episode becomes more focused on Wukong's interactions with the Pilgrims, and how he's at his core a gentle, motherly monkey. Pigsy sees a side of Wukong he never knew existed.

Once Wukong's memory returns, he is very confused by the baby shadow monkeys clinging to him, calling him "Mama". He sniffs and looks them over in Gold-Vision (the twins giggling the whole time), and with a shocked expression declares;

Wukong: "Macaque brought these two back from Diyu!" Tang: "What?! Is that even possible?!" Wukong, thinking hard: "It shouldn't be. Unless... they were hanging around the Underworld, unable to reincarnate because..." (*suddenly gets really sad/guilty look on his face*) Pigsy: "Because how?" Wukong: "If they weren't registered in the Book of the Dead... or if someone accidentally erased their names as he was going through the list of monkey demons..." Tang: (*covers gasp as he realises*) Rumble & Savage: (*confused chirps?*) Wukong: "I'm so sorry babies. I don't know why Macaque brought you back with him, but I'm glad he did. He's always had a soft spot for cubs. I hope in a... weird way, that this is a sign that he wants to repair things." Rumble & Savage: (*delighted chirping & hugging Wukong as they chatter about their "Papa"*) Wukong, chuckling smugly: "Oh really? He's been saying that about me? I just knew he couldn't get me out of his head." Rumble & Savage, both mimicking Mac's voice: "Peaches!" Wukong, slight blush forming: "He still calls me that?" Once the gang reunites after catching up with the Demon Bull family, MK sees the twins and splutters out;

MK: "Monkey King! They're-!" Wukong, twins clinging to him: "It's ok MK. They're just little demon monkeys. Macaque picked himself up some strays while he was in the Underworld. And super cute ones, might I add!" (*blows raspberries on the twins' faces*) Rumble & Savage: (*delighted giggling/shrieking*) MK, Mei, & Sandy: (*look to the others for an explanation*) Pigsy, shrugs: "He's good with kids."

Pigsy ofc starts to recognise some similarities to how the twin monkeys act, and how MK was when he was little. But that can of worms can be opened later. Now they've got Rings to gather and a bone demon to defeat.

Lantern City doesn't go as smooth as planned for Macaque. LBD has figured out that his two "persistent clones" aren't actual clones, and threatens them as collateral to get Macaque to comply.

The twin baby monkeys shriek when they glimpse at the Samadhi Fire. Almost as if they've seen it before...

ok here it is. these are in roughly chronological order. the third one is a moment from a RP I'm in, basically Threnody sort of sploded Ven a little to prove to her that she's not human anymore (Ven was just knocked out a little, a normal human would have been killed) and it's a big turning point in their relationship, marking them as equals. (I don't remember how much I've posted about the lore of this AU, but there's a lot going on with their relationship. they're both Desolation avatars but Ven didn't know she was one, believing that Threnody would eventually kill her until this point. so basically it starts out kinda toxic yuri and becomes wholesome yuri! well, wholesome except for all the arson.) and also Ven gets some cool new accessories to signify that change. (she also gets a new jacket at some point. because hers exploded.)

I'm still learning more about the condition btw,but from what I could tell (pls correct me if I'm wrong I dont have POTS) standing and sitting upright for more than a few minutes is what can cause the episodes. Because all the blood kinda stays at the bottom of the body and ur brain doesn't get enough air? So thats why the dizziness, vision darkening, possible fainting, and other symptoms occur. There's other symptoms as well but I'm just talking about in regards to fainting.

This got me thinking though, in my au shellington came from a sea otter town, and half the town was basically floating above the kelp forest while other parts (like family spaces, social areas, and etc) were in the water. Apparently (correct me if I'm wrong) swimming is a common treatment for developing strength for people with pots since you don't have to be standing up. Not to mention apparently the cool water eases pain and the blood vessels are compressed by the water pressure?

Even so its still alot harder for him to do missions, especially since well... not only is there ALOT of swimming for extended periods of time- but...the GUPS (most of them, not including the gup d) dont.. have seats for the steering wheels...

I was thinking maybe tweak make him one that folds even better or something so he can fit it in his satchel? Ik sitting up for a while can cause issues but a mobile chair, electrolyte drinks, mobility aids, and compression socks are all things I think he would use. They're all probably pretty used to him just sitting anywhere and everywhere too. I'll probably start drawing him with a cane more often as well.

I do wonder if when the vegimals were little(like verryyy little), if they misunderstood his condition, maybe thinking he got scared sometimes and fainted kinda JUST LIKE THEM (altho theirs is def more of a playing dead survival response lol) ? I'm sure once they got old enough they could understand his explanation though lol. In my au they're just as intelligent as people, but very much are Just Kids.

Having POTS definitely would've made leaving his swimming sea otter community like.. really hard...

Anyways over time they definitely do their best to accommodate whatever needs he has (like with what he can and cant do on the job or just in the octopod) and are very chill and accepting about it 👍it can suck for him sometimes but no one gives him any flack about it.. its not a big deal to the octonauts cuz its just part of his life and they accept him entirely

Altho, he did say "In the afterlife, anything is possible." So, it's entirely possible that Morro can come back at some point. I really hope so bc he does not deserve to go out that way. It'd just be terrible writing.

Rogue confirmed that Arin's parent are still alive, and he knows where there are. It has something to do with the weird cemetery. I think I mentioned in a response to someone or in a reblog, but I'm thinking that they've probably lost their memory and are being kept somewhere.

Also, on Rogue, I wrote something up on my main account a while back. It's about how his mind was shattered and how there might be a way to fix it. But his mind will never be the same again. It's all based on kintsugi, which is this art form and a way to repair pieces of broken pottery. If they ever do manage to cure his shattered soul, I do believe he will never quite be the Jay we all once knew and love. Bits of him will shine thru, absolutely, but there will always be pieces of him that will never quite be whole.

I don't know if they'll go that route with him - or if he'll ever truly be Jay again - but for me, personally, it'd be a very interesting way to kill of the old Jay and bring in the new Jay. If all of that makes sense.

And Arin. I'm am going to say this loudly, with my whole chest here: All of this feels like it's setting up Arin to be the next Green Ninja. It really feels like with him going off and wandering around with an antagonist and being a part of releasing an ancient being that can create mass destruction and death, they're setting it up for Arin to eventually take on Lloyd's mantel of the Green Ninja.

Stories, especially in Ninjago, are circular. Like a snake biting its tail. Things have a habit of repeating themselves in odd ways. And just from what I've particularly seen in this season - especially towards the end - it really does feel like it.

We'll see Morro again in the Spectral Lands. We did!

Rogue will try and stop Arin and Ras from reaching the Temple of the Dragon Cores. And there will be this whole big fight. And he did! Well, try, that is. They still got there, in spite of him.

Arin and Sora will have a conversation in ep8. They did! Not the conversation I expected them to have, but they did converse. Which means Ras got to keep the rest of his fur.

Arin is going to go back to Ras, and Sora's going to join them. I was right!

Pixal will have more information about Wu, but it's going to take her some time to sort it all out. This really would have been a good way to hint about what's been going on with him.

The prismatic blade with Ras and Arin will be the last 1 the Fab 5 go after. Technically, Drix got a 2 for 1 deal by going after that 1 and the 1 Lloyd had. While it was the last blade gathered, it wasn't really the last 1 they went after.

Arin will be the 1 to cut the last chain and free Thunderfang. Thankfully, no.

1 of the ninja will manage to track down Arin, Ras, and Rogue and participate in the fight. Sadly, nobody did.

Nya, Kai, and Wyldfyre will find Jay. I mean, they were all there at the arcade, and at the very end. But it was really just Nya who truly found him.

Nya, Kai, and Wyldfyre are going to find Jay in an arcade. Sort of. They did go to an arcade, Kai beat Jay's high score, and Jay beat Kai's high score without even having to be in the room.

Zane's going to stumble across Pixal, altho her memory's going to be a little scrambled. He did, but her memory wasn't scrambled. She was powered down for over 6 years.

The Fab 5 have a connection with the Oni. I'm getting the feeling this is incorrect, but it was never confirmed in canon.

Ras's master is Thunderfang. Nothing has been confirmed or denied about this. Yet.

Roby looks ok, but he's still sick internally. Most likely incorrect, but I'm getting the feeling that he's still not fully cured.

Something in the Spectral Lands will cure Roby. Goes along with the previous.
