Liking alt rock/rock music is such a wild experience when you’re also a reader.

‘Cause I’d be reading an angst fic, where the main character is closed off and somewhat numb in their responses and emotions, and then the song I’m listening to will go something like “I feel like a rock, but there’s no stability” and I’m just gonna have to pause for a moment because that’s somehow deep.

But it’s like all of them.
