Verbena (or Ver), my "main" Rook and a Shadow Dragon from Minrathous, I picture with a wavy shag of messy chestnut hair, warm autumn skin, and striking grey eyes that look almost colorless, as long as there's nothing for them to reflect. (I wanna call them her dagger-greys mostly, but there's so much room to play with reflections and metaphors and stuff with a color like that!!! and, with that darker border, it calls back to Ray's blues a bit, since they are sort of distantly related.) She'll have a longer nose (slightly hooked if I can get it in a way I like), a scattering of freckles, and a rounded cupid's bow but a somewhat more squared jaw- this face looks way more sculpted than what I'd like for her to have, but none of the others worked even this well. :/ I'd like her to look younger than she is- like she's supposed to be roughly 32, but looking at her, I kind of want people to not think her much older than 25. She's somewhat short, but wiry-strong, with toned limbs and a very straight spine. She'll be a sword and board warrior, as I usually go lol.

Tristan, my Fereldan Grey Warden, will, on the other hand, look older than he is: at ~40, he'll easily seem middle-aged (undeath and general warden-hood will do that for you). His eyes are somewhat vacant, smeared in tired purple, and a vaguely unsettling sort of brown that seems almost red if the light hits it just right. He's overall tall and broad (if carrying himself somewhat crooked), and I kind of want him to have some sort of body modification, maybe body tattoos (for battles he's been in, general reminders) or a number of discreet piercings, kind of to make his body feel more his. Might give him a facial tattoo too, just for fun. Probably a great weapon warrior, something long and heavy like a greatsword.

Coris, my Antivan Crow dwarfette, will get sort of unremarkable, but somewhat feline, playful-looking features, with upturned eyes, and lips that seem to be always smiling. I want her eyes to be so dark that they seem to be lacking a pupil, and I couldn't quite get the skintone right, but I want her to be sort of olive-skinned, with thick, dark hair she'll keep just long enough to pull back and out of her eyes. No visible tattoos or notable piercings (an assassin can't afford to stand out), but I really like that mole right under her right eye, I want to keep that if I can. She'll be agile, and pleasantly plump, with quite generous curves- probably an archer rogue.

and "Tanner", my Lord of Fortune dwarfette, will be an ex-Inquisition agent (probably from Orlais) who adopted back her old name assigned by Sister Nightingale for this (and will only reveal her actual first name to Harding once they're together ❤️❤️❤️ thinking something very Orlesian, like an Elise or a Jeanette or something) - I want her to have sort of the sunkissed, if slightly ruddy appearance of someone who spends a lot of time outside (or at sea), a fuller, friendly face, kind hazel eyes, and a mass of slightly coarse, dirty blonde hair. Her time adventuring (as well as spying) has likely left her with a few notable scars, but I'll want to figure those out once I'm there in the cc. (I may want her to have a pirate/sailor/adventurer type of stick and poke tattoo or two, something that looks wonky but has a lot of emotional significance to her.) She'll be kind of robust, and rather tall for a dwarf. I'm very undecided on the class yet, I kinda don't want to romance both rogues with other rogues, but the concepts just lend themselves well to being rogues.

ok so everyone has their dumb nevr gonna happen theories sooooooo mine is that what if maybe this new hot man of color isnt actually nancy's second love interest destined to die or disappear from this realm??? what if he isnt actually a temperance plant? WHAT IF hes gonna help her break the curse?? like yah he has a crush, who wouldnt? and nancys got eyes, yknow? BUT they never date hes just got an in with magical relics and tristan is just a guy who really wants to be friends with nancy? and actually ships her and ace together?

and maybe im on drugs? but i think i can write a better next episode where tristan and nacy look like theyre dating but theyre just trying to break the curse without anyone knowing cuz they got so mad last time. and like we still get angsty ace for only like half an episode and tristan and nancy break the nace curse and she comes back by minute 19 all tada we can kiss now. and then they all live happily ever after for the next couple of episodes, the end.

Favorite thing about them: His personality. I know many people joke around about him just being sad but he is more than that. (He is also insane-) What more can I say, I just love people who are very thoughtful and calm.

(Also his bow/harp its design is really beautiful)

Least favorite thing about them: I actually don’t really have one… maybe let him be more insane like he is shown in the movie

Favorite line: his voice line for Lancelot 😭 „Let us once again converse in elegance about forbidden love together! Though now I suddenly feel though all eyes upon us“

BrOTP: Lancelot and him are funny as friends and I think together with him he can often let his rater cold and distanced personality set aside.

Random headcanon: as someone who did archery I just headcanon that he actually put his hair in a ponytail cause shooting with hair open is absolutely annoying. I know he doesn’t do that but I shall teach him the benefits to it.

do y'all think max has realized he was flirting with tristan HARD in the first episode or nah? Because I think, arguably, that tristan is the one that's the most blind about their whole throuple situation, with avery clearly being the one most aware since she's doing everything to make it happen (hell yeah, get it), but max is also clearly not fully aware of his attraction to men.

But his and tristan's discussion in his room in the first episode screamed "please let me fuck you, pretty please, you're so pretty omg" which is.... definitely not very heterosexual of him

(although to me tristan is very aware of his possible bisexuality, he's just blind about max specifically, partly because he has an avery filter on and partly because of the whole max is their superior thing)

Nova Vivienne-Taylor Crosby is her father's pride and joy, born February 2nd 2005, Sidney was completely unaware of her existence until an hour after little Nova entered the world.

Nova Crosby - Facts!

The girl stands at 5'4 and barely reaches 135 pounds soaking wet and is not afraid to bite!

Known on the ice as firey, quick witted and someone with her father's fighting skills, she is not to be messed with!

She has always been a troublesome baby, toddler, kid, teenager and now, adult. Everyone around her seems to be drawn in by her charisma or what her father describes as 'alluring psychoticness'.

She was drafted 5th overall in the 2024 NHL draft to the New York Islanders and has formed a 'concerning' relationship with Mathew Barzal.

Nova met Luke at a Women in Hockey event her father was hosting when she was 16 and Luke 17, going on 18. Luke's mother Ellen was invited to speak and Luke had begrudgingly chose to come with.

He is very glad he did though, because that's where he met his best friend and unknown at the time future girlfriend who was trying in vain to escape her baby sitter for that night Tristan Jarry.

Luke was thrilled when she was drafted to the Isles because it meant his then best friend was only two hours away.

She has always been super close with the Penguins entire team, she hangs out with the guys in the common room, sometimes joins in practice if Sully lets her and joins in on the team wide prank war. More often than not targeting Dan Potash like Flower taught her so many years ago.

Sidney and Nova are what they would consider the bestest of friends. They tell each other everything. Most of the time. Sid helps Nova through everything and is her biggest supporter and protector. For reference, Sid use to play baseball, he makes sure he keeps his bat polished and on hand especially when Nova brought over her first boyfriend.

Nova also loves music! She is really into Benson Boone at the minute but her go to team karaoke is Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley. (Mainly because Tanger always willingly belts it out with her.)

A sigh of relief finally escaped you as you lifted your arms in order to shoot a three pointer and successfully scored making your team win the game. You were currently in Louisville going against the Cardinals and as good as a team that they were, tonight you had proved to be better.

Currently, you played for LSU in the position of point guard on a full scholarship and you were in your sophomore year. Even though you grew up in Maryland, this was the only school that you had your eyes set on for as long as you could remember. 

Your teammates quickly crowded around you and embraced you as the buzzer went off signaling the end of the game. 

As you walked off the court, different people were congratulating all of you, but all you wanted to do was get food, go back to your hotel and sleep all weekend until you boarded a plane to go back to Louisiana.

Studying for your midterms would also be thrown in there somewhere.

But it was Friday night and more than likely your teammates were not about to let that happen.

You quickly showered and got dressed, but as you were putting on your shoes, one of your best friends, Kelsey, sat down next to you and simply eyed you.

She played center and towered over you at 6’4 even though you were 6 feet yourself. 

“Why are you just staring at me you little weirdo?” You asked when she finally caught your eye.

“Uhh did you see your boyfriend staring at you tonight?”

“Who?!? Me and Tristan broke up so what in the world is your ass talking about? Was he here?!”

“Not him! Jack Harlow!”

“Girl, what?! Now, I know you’ve lost your mind.”

The entire team knew how big of a crush you had on him and would tease you about it all the time, and you would constantly be fighting for your life in the group chat. Kelsey had actually gotten you tickets for your birthday to see him in concert before.

Multiple times.

“He was staring at you the entire time!”

“Uh, because he was watching us play?” You responded as you put your curly hair up in a bun on top of your head.

“Nah, not us, YOU!”

“I second that!” Screamed Ebony from across the room, but you just looked at the both of them dumbfounded.

“If you two say so, now I’m hungry so where are we about to go and eat?”

“Zombie taco, I think we should be able to walk to it from here. I looked it up before we even got here."

The restaurant wasn’t far from the arena and you and a few of your teammates walked a few streets over. As you were all standing in line, your other best friend Briana pinched you and told you to look to your left.

“Ow! What the hell Bree?!”

“Your husband is over there and so is his fine ass best friend Urban. I’d do anything to kiss those lips of his.”

“First, he’s my boyfriend and now he’s my husband? I’m going to need for the two of you to make up your mind!”

“He obviously wants you since he keeps staring at you.”

“Everyone stares at me. I’m used to it. I’m tall.” You replied while shrugging. 

“Bitch, we’re all tall! You’re actually one of the shortest ones on the team!” Kelsey quickly said and all you did was roll your eyes and playfully push her.

You were the last to order and as you went to take out your card to pay, the girl at the cash register quickly shook her head.

“No need, someone already paid for your food for you.”

Kelsey and Briana heard this and you quickly looked over at them to see them both smirking.

“It wasn’t us. We’re broke college students, bitch.” Briana said while taking a swig of water from her courtesy cup that she had gotten and all you could do was laugh.

“I got you when I make it to the WNBA.” Kelsey added and you just smiled at the cashier.

“Do you mind me asking who paid for me?”

“Dude with the curly hair sitting in the corner. I think you already know his name.” She replied as she smiled at you.

You looked in the direction where she pointed and of course, she was pointing to no one other than Jack himself and your eyes went wide.

“We told you.” Was all Briana said as the three of you waited for your food. 

“I hear wedding bells and Harlow babies in the future.”

“I will make you walk back to our apartment.”

The three of you found a table not too far from where Jack was sitting and Kelsey and Briana sat on one side making it so you actually ended up facing him and you quickly rolled your eyes at the two of them.

“You two get on my nerves.”

“We just want to see this love connection unfold. Don’t be mad at us!”

“I’m not mad at all, but come on. He’s tall himself, what does he need with a tall girl too?”

“You’re a catch and I’m going to need for you to stop talking about yourself that way.”

“I’ve hardly met any guys who want to date tall girls. Tristan doesn’t count because that relationship was a dumpster fire on wheels.”

“The team celebrated when you dropped him.”

“WHAT?!”

“Come on, he treated you like shit. You deserve happiness and we can’t understand why you of all people can’t see that. You have the biggest heart and we’re tired of seeing you get hurt. Take a chance with him because his number will definitely be in your phone by the time we leave. Mark my words.”

“Bree, unhand my nacho before I stab you with my fork. If you wanted some, you should have gotten some.” You responded as you avoided what she had said before. The thing is that you knew that she was right, but now that basketball and school took up most of your time, doing anything else with you was like pulling teeth.

“Didn’t I tell you I was a broke college student?”

You wanted to thank Jack, but didn’t want to interrupt him with his friends, however Kelsey and Briana could tell you were trying to make your way out the door before saying anything to him and they weren’t having it.

“Nope, come on. Let’s go right now!” Kelsey said as she tugged at your arm.

“What?! No!”

Before you knew it all three of you were in front of Jack, Urban, Clay, Ace, Sunni, Cope, and Nemo with you in the middle and Kelsey and Briana on each side.

“Hey! Our best friend just wanted to say thank you for paying for her food. Right, Y/N?” Briana said and you quickly smiled at him.

“Yeah, thank you. I appreciate it.” You quietly said and Jack couldn’t take his eyes off of you.

“Anytime, pretty girl. You three played a hell of a game tonight.” Jack answered and you could feel yourself getting hot.

“Well we have no choice when we have a captain as good as she is. We have to do our best to keep up with her.” Kelsey said while looking over at you.

“Well, Y/N, I want to be able to keep up with you too, so put your number in my phone if you’re up for it.” Jack replied while handing you his phone and you quickly took it. You already knew Kelsey and Briana were internally screaming and you wouldn’t hear the end of this for weeks.

As you finished putting your number in, you quickly handed him back his phone.

“You doing anything tomorrow?” He asked and you started to answer, but Kelsey quickly cut you off.

“Being with…”

“NO! SHE’S FREE! Pick her up at 8! We’ll send you the address. Come on Y/N!” Kelsey said as she pushed both you and Briana out of the door. 

“See you then gorgeous.”

“Okay, can’t wait.”

When the three of you got outside, you all looked at each other before collectively screaming.

“Bitch! What did we tell you?!”

“Okay, I admit you two were right because a lot of times yall aren’t.”

“That was one time on the sociology final. You aren’t going to keep hanging that over my head, Y/N! That was freshman year!”

“I- you know what Kelsey, I forgive you for that. Even though that was just literally last semester.” You said while laughing.

“Oh shit, I can’t wait to pick out your outfit!”

Suddenly you had stopped walking and when they both noticed that you were behind them instead of beside them, they looked at you concerned.
