Please can we hear your thoughts on what Bruce does/thinks when being confronted with his neglect by Jason (and maybe the other boys too)??
Thank you, and have a nice day!
Bruce is the one I have the hardest time characterizing tbh.
I think his first reaction would be denial? He hasn't been the best father, but even he wouldn't go as far as to forget his own chi...
Oh my god he doesn't know how old you are. You were...you were older than Tim but younger than Dick, he thinks.
Wait.
When was your birthday?
Did he ever give you a birthday party?
What wing of the manor did you sleep in?
Where were you right now?
Unlike Tim who starts the unofficial search, Bruce heads right to the batcave to find your official records. Social security number. If you worked anywhere or has anyplace legal to stay, you'd have to input that. He's ashamed he has to go through a government database to find it, rather than simply knowing it.
And just like Tim, he finds nothing. Which scares him beyond belief. Had he lost you already? Did he actually forget about one of his children and then unknowingly replace them? Was he actually guilty of what Jason had accused him of years ago, albeit to a different child?
In reality, you're living solely through cash. Plenty of individuals are eager to avoid paying all their taxes, and are thrilled to accept cash only payments on your rent, or paycheck. Legally, you haven't done anything since graduating high school.
Not necessarily hiding from them, per say, as you don't think they'd go looking, but just because you don't want to be known as a Wayne.
And god, there is so much guilt, fear, and anguish rolling around inside that man. He needs to find out where you are, and if you're okay, and if anybody had done anything to you.
He swears if they have, he'll rip the motherfucker to pieces-
No. That isn't going to help. So instead he checks every reported death within not only Gotham, but any city within a 50 mile radius. For the last 10 years.
As well hidden as you are, nobody can hide from Batman while he's concentrating every effort to find you.
He's hesitant to bring you home at first. How can he call himself your father after forgetting you for your whole time living with him? But his regard for your safety eventually wins out. Until then, you just get a concerning amount of money just...stashed in your apartment??? What the fuck??????
Dick also feels a lot of guilt, but he somewhat subconsciously channels that into abundant overeagerness. Instead of focusing on how many important moments he missed...that he can never get back with his first baby sibling...
...ah, he should focus on all the memories you can make going forward! He has to take you to all his favorite spots, and you take him to yours!
What interests do you have? Are you a go to the aquarium person? Family movie night? Spa night? Just having fun with everyone at dinner? He has to do these things with you! And then you'll be his family again, and he'll love you, and you'll love him-
In spirit, he shows up outside your door like Damian. But he is self aware enough to know that'd freak you out, so instead he 'coincidentally' shows up at your work...in the bad side of town...and his attitude definitely gives away it was planned.
He messes up your "I'm a nobody like all of you" persona you'd spent years cultivating, and by the time he leaves, all your coworkers and customers know that you're Dick Grayson's sibling...which means Bruce Wayne's child, but he likes saying you're related to him more.
Tim doesn't give a fuck at first, like I established. It really is a game to see if he can find you before anybody else does. When he loses that to Bruce (damn it-), he decides he'll just know you BETTER than the others to win.
So he starts literally stalking you and making a psyche profile, like you're a case rather than his sibling. Any interest you've ever listed in your social media is cross checked with any belongings of yours. Merch or posters? Songs you listen to? Any of that content, he consumes as well. He's going to need conversation topics with you.
I'm not entirely sure if he actually loves you as family, or if you're just a hyperfixation that's consistently buzzing at his brain. It's like he wants to dissect, then digest you. Pick you apart piece by piece so he sees every last skin cell, then make that information a part of him
Though, he'd claim it's the former. To him, there's no discernable difference.
He's the one who meets you at your hobbies. Claims an online friend brought it up, but hey, it's crazy to see you again!
Even though it's your first conversation...maybe ever?
He's chatting to you like you haven't been estranged your whole life.
And the look in the eye is...a little unnerving.

JayTim omegaverse AU where Tim presents as an omega when he’s stalking Batman and Jason-as-Robin. Jason finds him collapsed on a rooftop and tries to help him but the proximity triggers his own presentation as an alpha. From there things go to hell in a hand basket and they ride out their first heat/rut together. In the immediate aftermath, once they have both recovered enough presence of mind, they agree that this is no one’s fault but it doesn’t stop Jason from feeling guilty about taking advantage of Tim so he escorts Tim home (in the process finding out they’re neighbours) and asks if there’s anything that he can do for him to make up for whatever the hell just happened.
There’s a lot of trauma to unpack here for the both of them but Tim is barely a teenager and Jason has emotionally repressed Batman for a parental figure so they just mutually decide not to mention it ever again because if you pretend it never happened then it can’t hurt you right? (Wrong.) Anyway, Tim tells Jason that if he really wants to do something for him then maybe he can just not tell Batman that Tim was on a rooftop at night, pretty please? At which point Jason, horrified that a boy Tim’s age is running around on rooftops unsupervised in the most crime-ridden parts of Gotham at the most crime-infested time of the day, makes it his personal duty to figure out why Tim does this and also how he can convince him to NOT do this. What he did to Tim was wrong on so many levels but oh god, what if someone so much worse found Tim instead? He agrees to Tim’s request on the condition that Tim carries a beacon at all times during his nighttime extracurricular activities.
Jason brings the beacon over as soon as possible, which turns out to be the next day after school (as Robin of course), and the sight of Tim alone in a giant house compels him to stay for a while, and a while turns into the rest of the day. Tim shows off the photos he’s taken of Batman and the Robins, and Jason is reluctantly but appropriately impressed by Tim’s stealth.
A friendship grows between them.
And then Jason dies.
And Batman grows too reckless.
And Dick refuses to be Robin again.
And Tim becomes Robin—
Except he doesn’t. Not really. He wears Jason’s Robin suit for a very short time before random bouts of nausea take him off the field. But Batman is still beating the shit out of petty criminals and Tim is desperate to help, so he allows Alfred (bless him) to call him a discreet doctor to ensure that his illness is not due to anything he was exposed to while Batman-wrangling before he’s allowed back on the field. Tim just wants it over and done with quickly so he can get back out there and—
He’s not allowed to back on the field.
He’s holding a little black-and-white picture of a literal human growing inside him and he is absolutely benched until there is no longer a literal human growing inside him.
Doctor Thompkins lays out his options, is brutally honest about how his body (too young, too small) will handle a pregnancy (not well), and asks if there is anything he wants to tell her (if there’s anyone Batman needs to put in jail for touching him). Tim doesn’t have long to consider his options—he’s nearly too far along for most clinics to be comfortable performing an abortion (although, given his age, they might be sympathetic enough to bend the rules if Doctor Thompkins can’t perform the procedure for him).
He decides to keep it, a parting gift from his friend Robin to be cherished beyond his death. There is a difficult conversation with Bruce about the child’s father (no, you can’t arrest them, they’re already dead, no, I’m not defending a heinous rapist, it’s your goddamn son, Bruce, this is your grandchild). An unforeseen but extremely welcome consequence of this is that Batman starts pulling his punches, now that he has something to live for again. He looks only half-broken now and he offers Tim a room at the Wayne manor when he finally learns about Tim’s extremely absent parents.
(Tim worries about how to break the news to his parents until he no longer has to worry about it because his mother is dead and his father is in a coma and god he wanted to avoid having that conversation with them but this wasn’t how he wanted it to happen.)
Properly benched now for the foreseeable future, Tim picks up remote vigilante-wrangling instead (from Babs?) and makes headway in some cold cases. He pulls out of school to be homeschooled instead, keeps out of the public eye, and generally avoids leaving Wayne manor because a thirteen-year-old pregnant omega living alone with an adult alpha (and his butler) is a Very Bad Look even for Brucie Wayne and Tim would rather not be known as Bruce Wayne’s child bride thank you very much.
Life proceeds in this manner, the child is delivered by Caesarian with very little fanfare. It is, unfortunately, very difficult to hide the presence of a whole infant. The public settles on the theory that the child is Bruce’s illegitimate son from one of his many dalliances and Tim allows the misconception to propagate simply because no good can come out of him, all of fourteen, publicly claiming his child. But it still stings, just a little. He made this child, held him safe in his womb for eight months. He puts him to bed and nurses him and loves him so much but nobody outside the manor will see it.
Tim bursts back into society when he’s officially adopted by Bruce. He refused to register his son as Bruce’s (it takes some extremely deft work by Oracle to file the appropriate documents for Tim’s claim on his child to be legally valid without alerting the press) but he also understands that Bruce wants a legal connection to his grandchild, so he becomes his son’s dead father’s legally adopted brother. It’s a mess, but at least people who should be are allowed into hospital rooms. It’s not like it will matter, right? Jason’s dead, right?
Wrong.
Jason is very much not dead and very much bewildered by the presence of a baby Wayne that isn’t Damian and it completely derails his plans to exact revenge on Bruce for not killing the Joker. It fucking hurts to see that he’s been replaced by not one but TWO new children but at least they aren’t Robin. At least no one is Robin. At least one of them is Tim, his lonely friend who deserves a family. He returns to Gotham, heads to Crime Alley, becomes Red Hood, and buries himself in shooting out enough kneecaps to push Bruce and Batman from his mind. That was another life. He’s fucking furious at Bruce and his replacements but god the baby has the same curly hair that Jason did and Jason can’t help but think that Bruce might actually have missed him, at least a little.
But probably not enough to love Jason as he is now, full of anger and rage and impulse to hurt hurt hurt the people who hurt others. He channels it all into cleaning up the Alley, perhaps more aggressively than Batman would (should) have, but Batman doesn’t give enough of a shit about the Alley to know that what he’s doing isn’t enough and it’s up to Jason to get his hands downright filthy if he wants to make any changes around here.
Tim notices Red Hood, because of course he does. And it takes him no time at all to realise, oh, that’s Jason. That’s Jason.

Clearing up misconceptions and such about Tim Drake for all you non-comic reading fic-writers and people that just don’t know. Mostly chronologically
Under the cut, cause this is gonna get long ,,
While Tim isn’t my favorite batfamily member, or even robin in particular, he is the one whose comics i’ve read the most of and know the most about.
If i’m wrong about any of this, please let me know!
- Tim’s parents weren’t especially abusive. they were neglectful, as in leaving him with the nannies and sending him off to boarding schools when they were out of the country, which was frequently. also, they did love him. i don’t even know where people got the idea that they didn’t.
- Tim did not stalk the bats, until he noticed Batman’s grief-driven violence and decided to follow, photograph, and gather evidence
- he also didn’t just go up to Bruce and ask to be Robin, he actually tracked down Dick Grayson to the circus and tried to convince him to come back to being Robin. Dick drove him to the manor, and then found out Tim’s whole story.
then Alfred let him down into the cave, Batman and Nightwing got captured by Two-Face, and Alfred practically threw the Robin costume at him and they went to save Batman and Nightwing. THEN Tim told Bruce that he was Robin. (— A Lonely Place of Dying, Tim’s 13)
- Before even becoming Robin fully, Tim’s parents were kidnapped and held for ransom in Haiti by a man called the “Obeah Man” (“Obeah” translates roughly to black magic, I’m pretty sure). Batman finds them by following the people that were going to pay the ransom, and they were being kept in some underground place? I’m not sure, but it was really really hot. There’s a pitcher of water, and Janet drinks it, and Jack starts drinking it, and Janet dies near-instantly, and Batman smacks the water out of Jack’s hands but Jack still ends up completely paralyzed and put into a coma. (— Rite of Passage)
- Fun fact: Janet’s funeral was Christmas eve
- it’s only after his mother’s death and father’s hospitalization that he goes to Paris (keep in mind, Batman did not force him to go, Tim wanted to!) to train under Rahul Lama, and then with Lady Shiva. (Robin mini 1)
- he doesn’t actually get trained by Shiva in the run, but it’s vaguely implied
- Fun fact: Tim actually kills Lady Shiva once (i forget what the storyline’s called, but it’s somewhere in Robin 52-55 ish)
- OH YEAH, Jason Todd was NOT Tim’s Robin. Tim Drake has been Dick Grayson’s #1 fanboy since the circus. He could not care less about Jason
- Fun fact: early in his Robin career, he hallucinated Dick and Jason as Robin (even though Dick was very alive) giving him advice
- He had friends outside of YJ. Like his best friend Sebastian Ives, his friend Callie, his (ex) girlfriend Ariana Dzerchenko, and a good bit more.
- he started dating Steph as Robin while dating Ariana as Tim, but Ari and Tim broke up like the day after Steph and Tim got together (not because of Steph, Ari didn’t know Tim was Robin, but because of other stuff that happened. go read Robin.)
- fun fact: Tim actually didn’t have contingency plans for Young Justice/the Titans, because he actually trusts them, unlike his mentor. (this is mentioned sometime in Young Justice 1998, but I don’t remember the issue)
- Tim’s 16 (not 14 or whatever THOSE tim stans try to say) and on the Teen Titans, when the fabled and constantly over-exaggerated “Titan’s Tower incident” occurs. Tim is fully suited up in the Robin suit, he puts up a good fight with Jason (who is in an adult-sized Robin costume, by the way) until he gets knocked out. This fight leaves no lasting injuries on Tim. (Teen Titans (2003) #29)
- the whole Jason slitting his throat thing happens in a different comic. (Batman: Hush, i’m pretty sure, correct me if i’m wrong)
- Tim also kicks Jason in the nuts the next time he sees him, so there’s not really any hard feelings there.
- Tim’s dad finds out he’s Robin and makes him quit, and Steph becomes Robin. Then Steph dies and Tim’s school gets shot up and he becomes Robin again.
- Tim leaves Jack alone at their home to go find the man sent to kill him. While he’s gone, the man (Captain Boomerang) kills Jack. (— Identity Crisis #5)
- after Jack dies, Bruce offers to adopt Tim and Tim turns him down and creates a fake uncle. Batman finds out the uncle is fake, commends him on his good job of making a fake uncle, and helps him make it better. Bruce later offers again to adopt Tim and he accepts. Damian literally shows up like the very issue after this in Batman
- Kon dies, then Bart dies a bit after. And, not to hate on yall TimKon shippers out there, but he also planned to clone Bart, and also in TT03 like 50-53ish, when him and the other Titans run into their future evil selves again, their Superman (Kon) and Flash (Bart) are clones.
- All those deaths happen relatively close together and in that order, I think, when Tim’s 16-17. But comic timelines are weird, like how Tim was 15 when the Quake hit and for the year-long duration of No Man’s Land (from New Year’s to New Year’s), he stays 15.
- When Bruce “dies” and Dick (Batman) makes Damian Robin. Damian needs guidance, and Dick wants him and Tim to be equals. Dick had good intentions and did the right thing! He just didn’t have the best execution.
- When Tim finds the painting and tells Dick about it, Dick DOES NOT THREATEN TO SEND HIM TO ARKHAM. He, reasonably (considering all the losses Tim has just faced) assumes Tim needs mental help and grief counseling, and recommends him a therapist in Metropolis.
- Tim decides to just go find evidence that Bruce isn’t dead by himself, and steals the Red Robin suit and runs off without even telling Alfred (Red Robin)
- Ra’s al Ghul sends people to kill Tim at first, but Tim obviously doesn’t die and breaks Pru’s nose twice. Eventually and reluctantly, Tim accepts the League’s help and resources.
- Tim finds his best piece of evidence in a cave in the desert with Pru, Z, and Owens. right after leaving the cave, an assassin attacks them, killing Z and Owens, slitting Pru’s throat, and stabbing Tim. Tim, ACTIVELY BLEEDING OUT, brings himself and Pru to the car they used to get there, drives to a hotel, CLIMBS UP THE BUILDING TO ONE OF THE TOP FLOORS WITH PRU WHILE THEY ARE BOTH BLEEDING OUT, and passes out on the bed, where Tam Fox (sent by Lucius to go find Tim) finds them. and so do a bunch of ninjas.
- Tim had to have his spleen removed because it was kebabed with a sword and was going to rupture. Ra’s also does NOT keep it in a jar.
- during the whole LOA part of RR, Ra’s is NOT preying on Tim. there is NO ROMANCE THERE. (no offense if you see it or think it’s implied, but to me it’s just really not?) its just RESPECT.
- with the whole bases exploding thing, its because the Council of Spiders was there and also he just doesn’t like the LOA. he gave them like 15 seconds to get out, obviously all the assassins managed to get out of the massive, complex bases in 15 seconds. (comic logic: if it’s not specified that it did kill them, then it didn’t.)
- the whole “Damian cutting Tim’s line” is also very exaggerated. Damian did it because of Tim’s “Hit List” and because Damian was on it. and Tim fell a few feet, caught himself, then fought Damian (neither won because Dick broke it up because they were literally right in front of THE alley.)
- not really a timeline thing, but in general, tim is VERY against murder. Part of the reason for this is Batman’s morals, which he built his own around, sure. But I think an even BIGGER part of his moral code is just to not become evil future gun Batman. And evil future gun Batman has no qualms against murder, he even killed Damian.
that’s pretty much the main stuff i wanted to touch on. LMK if i should add anything else or if i got anything wrong, thanks!!
No hate if u use the fanon stuff btw, i just know that a lot of people don’t read the comics and don’t know the actual information.
If you want pictures of some of these events from the comics, just lmk and I’ll provide

Tim who thinks he time traveld but in reality he dimensiond traveld.
The reason for the confusion? This reality is way back in the timeline so when he got killed in his own dimension and woke up in his kid body he immidently assumed time travel.
How he found out that it wasn't time travel? Batman and Robin don't exist here. There are only villains in Gotham. Naturally this means that the Wayne family are just normal civilians and are therefore in danger constantly because being the richest family in Gotham means that they are constantly kidnapped.
So, Tim decideds that he really doesn't have any choice here, befriends the Waynes(He missed his family too much to wait, even if they can't fight crime together like they used to. It doesn't really matter beacause the Waynes appear so much happier here. Way more affectionate for sure. Did Jason's death change them that much or was it their vigilante ways?) and begins his training(He can't go out to fight crime if his body can't keep up with his brain).
From his resarch it seems this dimension villains aren't that diffrent from his own. With the exepction of 3 new ones, Peace,Shriek and Crow.
(If you want an explanation for the choice of names its bc in this alt reality Bruce wanted to bring peace to the underworld by taking it over thereofore the name. Dick didn't want to stain his parents memory by having criminals say his nickname and if there is no Robin Jason will just pick a diffrent name lol)
Tim still didn't know what was the deal with these 3. Sure they were villians but they were uncomfortably competent for him to deal with them on his own without his gear and with a body that wasn't up to standard. Also for some reason when Poison Ivy attacked and he inhaled cuddle pollen Crow decided to help(?) him. Althought he still couldn't see why taking off his clothes when it was so cold was done. He knew from experience that being dressed or not didn't change the effect that much, or maybe it is another form of divirgence?
It's not the only time Tim was helped by the villians either. Although he blames it on him getting slopy when stalking them to find out more ways to take them down. That is probably why he finds himself holding some form of affection for the 3 villains, with Crow being his favorite due to him being around Jason's age.
Was it concerning that a child was causing crime? Yes, but that also meant that rehabilitation was more likely so Tim takes what he can get.
The Waynes also always found out when he got injured from him stalking the members of the underworld. Guess the alternative version of the best detective will always have a good intuition and smarts. Althought he wishes they wouldn't overreact.
After witnessing a kidnapping gone wrong for Jason(his kidnappers turned out worse than him, but that information wasn't really processed by Tim because Jason could have died!) Tim decides that waiting for his training to be done when there is still crime is morally incorrect so he decideds to debut as soon as his gear is done.
Echo should be a good vigilante name.
👀👀👀 tim ending up in a different dimension where all the bats went into crime rather than heroism but tim still tries to uphold the origional values they held but still growing affectionate for the villain version of his family!!

Part 3 of the au my brain worms gave me 😔
Part 1, 2, 4
=====
"I keep forgetting about you being a literal trash rat," Jason scoffs, poking at the single pitiful skillet at sat innocently in the giant pantry. He sighs, taking it out, rinsing it, before setting it on the stove.
"Shut up," Tim sighed, pressing his face into the countertop, "You're such an asshole."
"Language, birdy," Jason scoffed, grimacing as he looked through the fridge, "Is there nothing organic in here? You're supposed to be rich, Tim!"
"It's too much work!" his brother complained, "I can't bother with cooking when there are Batmen and Robins to stalk!"
Jason deadpanned, turning over to pin Tim with an unimpressed stare, "Really, kid?"
He shrugs, "You called me a stalker, Jay, I'm just leaning into it! Also, do you want to deal with Dick or Damian next?"
Jason scoffed, "You're the genius, figure it out."
"You lie to Batman once!"
"Oh shut up," Jason rolled his eyes before deciding to make scrambled eggs, because those were the only thing in the entire fridge that were even slightly healthy. Everything else was either frozen meals, exotic fruit juice, and even more frozen meals. God the amount of salt here is atrocious, "We both know you've lied to all of us at least three times."
It was very telling when Tim didn't respond.
"Alright, you make the plans, I make the eggs, and I'll veto anything that sounds utterly batshit insane."
"Do you want to call your mom first?" Tim offered, "She's probably worried sick."
Jason turned, his expression pinching as guilt churned in his chest... He... He doesn't know if he should. He knows she'll die, that someday she'll overdose and leave behind a shaking, trembling, wide-eyed and fearful son, but- but he doesn't think he could deal with it again. Sure, she's his mom, but he- he doesn't know her, this version of her, at least.
"It's okay if you don't-"
"Shut up," he hissed, shocking himself at how strangled and strained his voice sounded, "I- I don't know if I can."
And Tim, with an infuriatingly patient expression, nods.
Jason sucks in a breath through his teeth. He came to peace with her death all those years ago, the faint memory of his previous life overlapping with this reality's.
But... he still owes it to her...
"...Do you want to come with me?" Jason asks after a few seconds of silence.
"Yeah," Tim responds, "Let me go grab some money, and we can buy something instead."
Jason nods shortly before shoving the skillet back into the pantry before going to wait by the door.
A few moments later, the pair of boys sat side by side on the back of the bus. They made have been at each other's throat all those years ago, but now- god help those who ever try to sever them.
As the bus slowed to a stop, the pair wordlessly stood in tandem and strode off the bus. Years of carefully ingrained memory allowing the pair to work together like a well-oiled machine.
"What are you kids doing out here?" a strange man drawls, striding forward to stand in front of the two.
Jason tensed, shifting forward to place himself between Tim and the strange man, "It's none of your business."
"Don't be like that," the man continues, stepping forward with hungry eyes trawling down Jason's face, "are you two brothers?"
Tim's hand pressed against his shoulder, and Jason relaxed to allow Tim to work his stalker magic.
"Yes, we are!" Tim chirped brightly, his currently tone at complete odds with Tim half an hour ago, "I'm so sorry about my brother's attitude. He didn't get enough sleep last night, you see, so he's just a little grumpy."
"I can speak for myself, Al," Jason huffed, feeling acutely aware of the eyes pinning against his skin.
The man looked interested. It was all Jason could do to keep himself from lashing out at the man for his predatory gaze, "What's your name, kid?"
"I'm Alvin John," Tim says brightly, nudging Jason's side with a careful look, "What's your name?"
"How about your brother first?"
"...Thomas," Jason huffed.
"Why are you two out here all alone? Where are your parents?"
"We were out on a walk," Tim nods, "Don't worry, we're safe! Our mom is expecting us, so we should really be on our way."
"You still haven't told us your name," he interrupts.
"Bright kid! You'd be great if you smiled more," and Tim's hand tightening around his arm was the only thing keeping him from brandishing his pocket knife and pulling a Damian, "my name is Derick Gleisner."
"It was nice meeting you, Mister Gleisner," Tim smiles, "I hope you have a good day!"
"You too, kid."
Jason allows Tim to lead them into the crowd. The pair losing the eyes against their back before heading toward Jason's child hood home.
"Robert Shawn," Tim hisses, barely loud enough for Jason to hear, "arrested on account of human and drug trafficking. Batman will find him six days from now and turn him in to the GCPD."
"You want to use him?" Jason replied tightly.
Tim, to Jason's chagrin, nods, "It's the fastest way, short of breaking into the manor, which would just raise their suspicions. If you want to do this another way, I don't mind."
"You already have plans in place, don't you?" Jason groaned, swatting at Tim's arm with a tired sigh. Tim gives him a side-long look, and Jason's question was promptly answered.
They reached the house a minute later, and Jason pushes open the door with his spare key.
"Mom, I'm home!" he calls, freezing as he received no response, "...Mom?"
Tim freezes suspiciously beside him before cursing under his breath, "Jason!"
"What?" he snaps.
"You were here last time, right?" Tim says softly, "You were home."
Jason nods jerkily, dread pooling in his chest as he sees Tim's expression pinch in worry.
He tears away, the carpet bunching under his feet as he scrambles toward the kitchen.
"MOM?" he calls. She wasn't in the kitchen. Maybe her room? "MOM! MOM, WHERE ARE YOU?"
Jason shoves open the door, scrambling at the doorknob in his haste. He bursts in only to see Catherine slumped over on the floor.
This- this wasn't supposed to fucking happen yet! What the FUCK.
He screamed. His knees aching as he lunged forward to grapple with his mom's body. Her skin cold and limbs stiff- his mom- his mom.
Shit- what- this wasn't supposed to happen yet! It- it was august, she wasn't supposed to die until february. God DAMNIT.
"I've called the ambulance," Tim says from the doorway, "Jay..."
"Shut UP. SHUT. UP," Jason screams, shoving his forehead against chilled cold skin as hot tears burned against his eyes, "Mom...This- this wasn't supposed to happen yet! Tim- what- why?"
"It's... it's most likely because of the disparities between timelines," his brother says, somehow making his technical blabber sound fucking sympathetic, "i think in this timeline, since you weren’t here to stop whatever from happening…”
“…Fuck,” he hisses, flinching slightly as he hears sirens wail in the distance.
“Do you need some time alone?” Tim asks hesitantly.
Jason grits his teeth. He- he doesn’t want to leave her alone- but, but damnit, Tim. Knowing the stupid little fucker would skitter off and do something so utterlyfucking effective yet idiotic. He sucks in a breath, “Just- just give me a sec, kid. I- i need to say goodbye…”
“Okay. Take your time…”

Background on the Tim hiring Deathstroke thing in this https://www.tumblr.com/toomanyfandoms11/749474013724721152/toomanyfandoms
In my little universe that I like to maladaptive daydream in basically, Janet Drake, Slade Wilson, and Wade Wilson are all siblings.
Janet is the oldest child, and thefore according to family tradition the only child that cannot legally be linked to any crime (plz ask me about the Drake family lore. Also, Jack was the one killed by Captain Boomerang ).
Slade and Wade are twins, (their father had a sense of humor and their mother was too out of it to complain.) and bear the title of murder uncles.
Getting to the Joker bit: when Jason was being killed by the Joker, Tim was on a “family holiday”(training trip) to upstate New York (X-Mansion, most of the X-Men were too afraid to ask about the 10 year old that followed Deadpool around except for Wolverine, who taught him how to skin a moose, and Madelyne Pryor for some reason) and as a result did not learn about his death until about a month or so after it happened.
When Tim learned about his death he decided to wait a bit for Batman to settle down, thinking that he just needed to get the anger stage of grief out of the way and then he would go to therapy like a normal person. Tim was the sort of kid that would read the picture books about getting over grief when he was waiting in the doctors office.
Unfortunately, there were no picture books about superhero phycology. After about few months, Batman showing no signs of stopping and expressing his grief like a normal person, Nightwing finding out about Jason’s death through a newspaper tabloid and the two of them having an argument on top of the Gcpd station that was live-streamed by anyone with a phone and became headline news for a week, Tim decided to take matters into his own hands and hire his current favorite uncle (Wade had recently given him a pair of socks as a gift instead of the forensics book he wanted) and ask him politely (blackmail him with the time Slade had given him coffee while babysitting) to kill the Joker, “Pretty please Uncle Slade? I’ll make you cookies!”
Slade accepted this offer and went (with no small amount of glee/relief) to finally put a bullet through that waste of carbon’s skull. But, alas, Paul Verlaine (King of Assassins, Executive in the Port Mafia, Ex-Titans member and former boyfriend of Nightwing) got there first. After this, Tim’s story goes the route you would expect (with a twist~). After one too many times of Batman putting criminals in the ICU instead of talking to a therapist, Tim decides enough is enough and goes to Nightwings apartment in Bludhaven to ask him to arrange an intervention for Batman with the Justice League, or he will release Batman and Nightwings identity’s to the public.
Dick Grayson, after hearing this, dose not go “This seems like Bruce’s problem” and drop him off at the Batcave. He instead goes “who’s sassy lost child is this”, has the Bat-adoption gene arise for the first time, and decides that he will adopt this child who ran around Gotham alone stalking Batman and Robin, or die trying.
Janet, after talking with the man who drove her child back from Bludhaven at 4:30 am, is slightly leaning towards the second option, but she knows that A. Jack is a terrible father, and while she tries her best, she is also not winning mom of the year anytime soon and B. Shared custody is a thing.
And so, after 3 sword fights (one for each Drake-Wilson sibling), 5 panicked calls to Alfred about “Holy frick I’m turning into Bruce”, many late nights studying “how do I parent a 10 year old”, 1 realization of “holy **** I really do want to be a parent”, and a very well paid lawyer ( Matt Murdock), Dick Grayson becomes the legal parent of a one Timothy Drake, with the media explanation (that is true, but deleteing the superhero parts) being that Janet and Jack realized that they could not be the parents the Tim deserved to have, and that Dick Grayson could. (They got alternating weekends and cultural holidays (Jack is Chinese).
After a month or so, Dick takes Tim to meet Bruce (Dick did the intervention thing, it took the combined forces of Superman, Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Alfred, and Catwoman to get him to go to therapy.) and in the meeting Tim cheerfully reveals that A. He had figured out Batman and Robins secret identities when he was 9 (He went to a gala that the Wayne’s were at, and Dick did a quadruple somersault off of a chandelier that Tim remembered Nightwing doing) and B. He once hacked into Shield on accident when he was looking for a website that had a show he liked on it

I also have an AU of the AU where Dick finds Annabeth running away with Thalia and Luke and ends up her unofficial guardian when she isn't at Camp (where she still has to live most of the year due to Dick's profession and her seemingly being a monster magnet even that young).
And like.
I'm not sure what Dick and Tim's interactions look like in that verse.
But Jason's reaction would have to be more complicated right?
In canon , from my secondhand understanding, he goes after both Dick and Tim. But now Anna is in play and she isn't Robin and Dick took her away from Bruce, so what does that even mean for the original three siblings?
Does Jason break into Dick's apartment, see Anna in a cast or with a healing wound that will scar, and get furious because he assumed Dick took Anna away to prevent her being Robin and now thinks Dick threw her into the vigilante life after all?
Does Annabeth, with her new attunement from Camp Half-Blood and her demigod training catch him skulking when before she wouldn't have and draw a knife on him because she thinks some monster was cruel enough to wear her dead brother's face? Except now Jason can see the knife because after the Lazarus Pit he's better at seeing through the Mist?
Does he go stalking to find more information about what exactly happened following his death only to catch Anna on her way home, attacked by a monster, and is forced to choose between revealing herself early and letting her get hurt? Does she get hurt either way, catch sight of him, and ask him if she's dying and headed for Elysium? Because of course that's where her brother, the second Robin, would have ended up.
Does Jason even care about the strangeness of Anna's role in everything, present-yet-separate for the entire shit show that has been Batman and Robin, or does she get equally swept away in his grief-rage, no quarter given for her age now that she has begun to pick up a knife?
(and if it's that last one, does it ever help her see the writing on the wall with Luke? Or does her love-anger-desperation remain too much a part of who she is, the stubbornness practiced on Jason Todd well before Luke Castellan?)

The next Potted Fanon History is Robin II: JASON TODD.
Jason, 9-10: Willis Todd was abusive and goes to jail due to henching. Catherine Todd was addicted to drugs and dies from cancer. Jason ends up homeless. It is very tragic.
Jason, 12ish (extra angst edition): He may have done sexwork on the streets for food.
Jason, 12-13: found on the streets after jacking the tyres off the Batmobile.
Jason as Robin: Robin is Magic! The intelligent Robin! Extremely literary! A sweet innocent child! Cared about children and sex workers and those affected by drugs! Simultaneously, the only storyline anyone has ever heard of is Garzonas’ death.
Alternate Jason as Robin (less common): Jason always had an angry side. He was enraged by the hardships of the world and by people committing crimes against children and sex workers. Also the only storyline anyone has ever heard of is Garzonas’ death.
Jason around 14: goes on ski trip with Dick.
Optional Jason and the Titans: Jason meets the Titans as Dick’s brother. He may go on one or two missions with them. The entire and only point of this event is for Jason to encounter Roy and Kory. They are fairly close in age. Do NOT think about this too closely.
Jason, 15: A Death in the Family, Which hurts more, forehand or backhand, etc. Harley may be present for this. Harley may have tried to talk Joker out of this.
Jason, 15.5: digs himself out of his grave. USUALLY found immediately by Talia and dunked in a Lazarus Pit. Ra’s Al Ghul is extremely unhappy about this.
Jason, 16-18: PIT RAGE. World training trip sponsored by Talia. May spend time with Damian. Frequently killed his teachers for being bad people.
Jason, 18-21: returns to Gotham as Red Hood with a sportsbag full of mob boss heads and many guns. Moves immediately into Crime Alley and it becomes ‘his territory’. All the Bats avoid it. SLITS TIMS THROAT. This might just be from Jason stalking Tim or it might occur in Titans Tower.  Face off with Bruce over killing the Joker, Bruce slits Jason’s throat.
Jason, Titans Tower: Jason goes to Titans Tower and beats Tim up. This is due to PIT RAGE as Tim is his REPLACEMENT. Exclusively calls Tim that.
Jason, 18-21: Following UTRH, Jason continues crime lording around Crime Alley. The small street children and sex workers all trust him. He has RULES and they WORK. Nobody sells drugs to children or hurts them. Anyone hurting a child sets off Jason’s berserk PIT RAGE. Torments Black Mask.
Jason, 18-21: At some point following UTRH, Jason (re)encounters Roy and Kory and forms the Outlaws. It may take place while travelling through the multiverse for unspecified reasons. (Basically this encounter replaces Jason’s 52 arc).
Jason, 20-21: When Bruce dies, Jason is in jail because someone (usually Bruce or Dick) locked him up for being a Crime Lord. Tim breaks him out and Jason has the first kind thought towards his Replacement ever. If we do Battle for the Cowl Jason argues that he should be Batman as he’s the only one who can clean up Gotham. His offer to have Tim as his Robin shows how much he now respects Tim. Alternatively, Batarang to the chest and trying to kill Tim again.
Jason, 20-21: Jason eventually realises that he has PIT RAGE that makes his eyes glow green. All the Bats and other heroes who encounter him understand how hard it must be to have been in a Lazarus Pit, because of the unstoppable and constant permanent rage afterwards. Jason manages to suppress this rage and he is a hero for it. He immediately feels intense guilt for hurting Tim as the Pit has made him do many things. However if he ever gets angry it returns. (Yes. He’s the Hulk).
Jason, 20-21: While Dick is Batman, Jason starts feeling more guilty and helping out occasionally. He may have Fond Memories of training with Damian in the League. He starts using rubber bullets in his guns when working with the Bats, or just shooting people in the knee. Everyone else thinks this is a reasonable non-lethal compromise. He has his own patrol route around Crime Alley that the Bats STILL do not enter without asking his permission.
Jason, 20-21: Apologises to Tim. This happens after rescuing Tim out of some peril. Tim immediately accepts the apology and they start hanging out together. They are now Best Brothers because Tim just can’t trust Dick anymore, but Jason apologised.
Jason, early mid 20s: On some space mission with the Outlaws, Jason acquires the All-Blades. These are magical glowy space swords that can only harm evil.
Jason, early mid 20s: after Bruce’s return he and Jason make their peace with each other as long as Jason does not kill. Jason is still mad Bruce won’t kill Joker for him. There are periods of angst about this.
Jason, currently: Jason is the Family Black Sheep but has agreed to not shoot people lethally in Gotham. He is invited to family events, but publicly he is Still Dead (TM). He may still be doing some Crime Lording on the side for money. He has not been back in jail. In the midweek, Jason can be found going shopping with Alfred for groceries, cooking with Alfred in the kitchen and discussing historical literature and Shakespeare.
Jason, currently: is either Best Friends with Roy or dating him. They are buddies who are rarely seen apart in superhero contexts. Lian (who is 7-8) thinks of Jason as her other father. He is close to Tim and they team up often in Gotham, unless he is alternately close to Damian or Steph. He’s the Other Big Brother of the Bats.

Happy birthday Tim 🥳🥳 (ik it's late but still)
Here's some tim fic recs :)
Cards on the Table:
A Tim Joins Batfamily Late fic, has stalker-tim, and has the fanon idea of Tim following around the bat's with a camera, Tim never becomes Robin, Tim needed a way to make money after his parents faked their death (they were con artists in this and were almost found out so they had to leave) and left him, so he became a fake fortune teller by stalking the elites of gotham, eventually the bat's find him and bam family
1-800-GOTHAM:
Another Tim Joins Batfamily Late, also has stalker-tim and tim following the bat's around with a camera, bad parents Jack and Janet Drake (im usually not the biggest fan of but it works in this), Tim never becomes Robin, he instead started a hotline for the people of gotham to call when in trouble, nicknamed "Angel", he gets a call from Nightwing at one point, and then many miscommunication and misunderstandings ensue (UNFINISHED, NOT ABANDONED)
The Drakes Spoiled Brat:
Tim Joins Batfamily Late (again), time travel fic, Tim died on a mission as Red Robin at some point, woke up as him a year after Dick Graysons parents died, decided to fix everything as time goes by, Jason Todd doesn't die, he does this for many things, he doesn't become robin, he avoids the bat's like the plague, he becomes Cardinal
(UNFINISHED, NOT ABANDONED- I think)
The Very Unfortunate Death of Santa:
Silly fic of Tim telling Damian of when Young Justice met Santa, and Santa may have died
Lesson Learned:
Haven't read this one in awhile, it's 1 chapter, Joker Junior Tim, I think has a lot of fanon ideas, Tim gets kidnapped and Joker Junior comes out, Only Batman Dick Babs amd Tim know of Joker jr before this
His Mother's Son:
Honestly don't remember much about this fic, 1 chapter, focuses on Tim and Damian, Tim is scary like his mother, someone makes a comment towards Damian

As someone whose read Tim Drake comics can you answer a question for me? I've seen two troubling tags about Tim on AO3, Stalker!Tim and 'Tim's incel tendencies', and I was wondering are these purely fanon characteristics? I only read Tim's robin run through Identity Crisis before getting out of comics and into manga (I did read his Red Robin run as well later). And from what i read, I never got stalker or incel vibes from him. Like at all.
I read Tim following Dick to NY as showing off his detective skills and not stalking; He wasn't actively following Dick (or keeping track of where Dick was) before he decided to ask Dick to be Robin again.
And Tim stalking the bats on rooftops as a kid is purely fanon.
As for the incel thing... I can't think of anything from the comics I read that could explain this. He never pressured his girlfriends for sex (quite the opposite actually), and he never shown any signs of hating women as a whole.
Did they make changes to his character after Flashpoint that would explain the prevalence the stalker and incel tags for Tim?
Thanks for asking!
The short answer: of those two characterizations, I’d say that Tim being a stalker has sort of a basis in canon but is mostly down to interpretation, but Tim being an incel directly contradicts canon.
Please note that this is referring to post-crisis continuity because after flashpoint I stopped reading 😌
The long answer:
Part 1: Tim a stalker?
It’s a matter of perspective, but you’re absolutely right that most of that stems from events in and around A Lonely Place of Dying. What I mean by that is that Tim essentially got the job as Robin by proving to Dick that Bruce was going off the deep end after Jason’s death and subsequently impressing Dick and Alfred enough that they vouched for him as being Robin (though he still had to go through a bunch of training before he was allowed on the streets rip).
Things that qualify as stalker-ish that Tim’s done
Took pictures of Batman to prove that he was going off the deep end so that he could make his case to Dick (Batman #440)
Tumblr media
Went to New York and Titans Tower to look for Dick, but didn’t find him. Ft. Creeping on the Titans (Batman #440)
Tumblr media
Went to Kory’s apartment to ask her where Dick was, leading to her being fairly confused and kind of worried (Batman #440)
Tumblr media
Broke into Dick’s apartment and went through his stuff/broke into his safe in order to steal the picture of him and Dick and the Circus (New Titans #60). Which is kinda creepy, not gonna lie
Tumblr media
From there, it was following Dick to Haly’s, recognizing him when he’s dressed as a clown, Judo flipping him before Dick flips him right back, and helping him solve a crime/freaking him out enough that he brings him back to the Manor (New Titans #60)
Tumblr media
He also has a somewhat later tendency of figuring out peoples’ secret identities (i.e. Huntress, Wildcat, others), but that kind of comes with the territory for Bat-adjacent people So, there’s an argument to be made that he has some stalker-ish tendencies, though they tend to be overblown by fandom (including me, because I think it’s fun lol)
Part 2: Is Tim an incel?
No.
Tim being an incel has no basis in canon. While an incel is a person who is involuntarily celibate, a direct reading of the text would mean that he’s voluntarily celibate; like you said, people have often pressured him for sex and he keeps saying no. It’s worth noting that a lot of this is pretty much Chuck Dixon’s ideas about sexuality and purity coming through a Tim-shaped mouthpiece. In his mind, Tim not having sex with his girlfriends made him a good person/hero, so Tim would therefore not express an interest in having sex with his girlfriends. This also had the side effect of making Tim read as having no interest in women, which many queer fans picked up on. (It's also worth noting that now that Tim is canonically queer, Chuck Dixon is throwing a fit about it because he’s a homophobic asshole).
Dixon is also pretty sexist, though arguably not much more so than most of the people writing comics in the 80’s and 90’s. As far as hating women, in some Chuck Dixon issues, Tim says some mysoginistic things on page, though I’d also chalk that one up to Dixon being insufferable.
Examples of Tim not having sex when it was directly offered and/or when others are trying to pressure him into it:
In Robin #40, Tim’s girlfriend Arianna Dzerchenko tries to pressure him into sleeping with her for a variety of reasons, none of which are relevant here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So I suppose it’s most accurate to say that he’s waiting for marriage or something. (And also accurate to say that Dixon doesn't understand how doors work).
Their relationship doesn’t really go anywhere, and Tim goes on to date a variety of other people including Stephanie Brown (on and off throughout Robin), Zoanne Wilkins (late Robin), and Tamara Fox (Red Robin).
But, while we’re on the subject of people offering to have sex with Tim and him turning them down, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the time that he walked into his room in Titans Tower and Ravager was naked in his bed (Teen Titans 2003 #35). She clearly has excellent timing, since this is in the middle of Tim’s repeated (and failed) attempts to clone Kon after he died in Infinite Crisis:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway he handcuffs her and puts a stop to that. Sort of.
(Dis)honorable mentions go to both Steph (Robin #37) and Darla Acquitsa (Robin #126) for non-consensually kissing Tim and not knowing how to take no for an answer. And an extra dishonorable mention to the Daughter of Archon who tries to rape Tim in Red Robin #25 before Cass fights her off.
It’s possible that there’s some basis for either of this in post-Flashpoint continuity? I’ll have to throw that one to the comments, though, since I haven’t read much of DC’s post-flashpoint stuff and tbh I don’t really intend to.
tl;dr: in post-crisis continuity, Tim could arguably be seen as a stalker for how he got Robin, but anyone arguing he’s an incel probably hasn’t read the source material. Like, at all.

I had an awesome idea for a “Robin” swap.
I think Tim is Barbara swapping roles would be so fun. The two are both excellent hackers and support for that rest of the bats in different ways.
Tim Drake receiving an invitation to a costume party and going as “Batboy” (or even “Red Robin” or whatever you want to call him). Then him becoming tangled up in the mess and stepping in to help Batman and Robin. With Batboy eventually becoming as much of an Icon as Batman and Robin in Gotham.
A young Babs stalking Batman and Robin after she over heard a meeting between them and her father?? Give it to me NOW please!
Tim working with Dick for a while and helping Jason settle into the role. Then Jason dies and the Joker attacks the Drake family. Kill Janet, Kidnapping Jake and finally paralyzing Tim.
Little Preteen Babs stepping up into the Role of Robin after Jason’s death and Tim accident. She is spunky and more than ready to take up the challenge. Unlike Tim she isn’t there to play the perfect soldier.
I don’t necessarily want to Kill Jim off but a coma scare would certainly do the trick.
Tim coping with the sudden loss of function in such a important limbs and trying to get back into the game and struggling. Only to realize he can do a lot even if he’s not out in the field. There are things no one else but him CAN do. Taking on the role of an aggressive hacker, digital security, support and digging through different things online to gather clues from the internet. Dawning a new name he once again became a a crucial part of Batman’s team. (I also personally believe he would make his presence known unlike oracle, who isn’t a Public hero and isn’t wildly know about Tim would make it known someone’s always watching)
When Jason comes back as Red Hood it’s not Tim he’s fighting against. He will come face to face with Babs.
Oml speaking of. DAMAIN TRYING TO FIGHT BABS WHEN HE FIRST SHOWS UP!?!?

Yandere!Damian Wayne x Reader Pt.3
Tumblr media
⚠️Warnings⚠️: Mention Of Rape/Murder, Stalking, Abuse, Death, & Anorexia
🇺🇸Word Count🇺🇸: 666
👾Characters👾: 3,631
But little did you know that none of the males in front of your unconscious form where going to keep that promise.
************************************************
“Uhhh Bruce”? Cyborg spoke.
”Yes Victor” Batman sighed deeply.
“Where did you find her again”? Victor asked.
“I told you already, Joker decided to keep a few girls hostage and she was the only one who survived” Bruce answered.
“I don’t think she’s the only survivor of just one of Jokers attacks” he mumbles barely herd by Batman.
“What”?! Batman asked in a high pitched tone yet slightly shaky.
“According to her file she’s been through a lot. From rape to body damage”. Cyborg answered slightly scared of what Batman’s response would be.
“What the hell does that mean”? Batman asked.
“According to her file, when she was ten years old she was taken for two and a half years by some man named Chris Peterson. It says he brutally raped her, but she found a way to escape. He is currently spending a life time in prison. It also says this isn’t the first time Chris has taken girls and raped them. Some of them were even unfortunately killed”. Cyborg answered in a shaky voice.
Batman could only wonder to himself what more you could have gone through without a single word being brought to him, the justice league, or even his civilian form.
“What else does it say”? He questioned.
“It says that she did (s/n) since she was kid. Her coaches forced her into eating less, and she even received a few injury’s on her body from the sport”. Cyborg said with a “damn” placed after it.
“But that’s not all. Her mother went missing when she was a baby, and apparently because of that she doesn’t have the best relationship with her father at the moment”. Cyborg once again spoke.
“Maybe we could get her into therapy. Or something that will help her relax into her life”. Cyborg suggested.
“I swore to my family that we were never to meet or speak of her” Bruce said quietly.
“The kids only thirteen, Bruce. She needs a proper adult to take care of her.
Then it hit Batman. Maybe you didn’t need a parental figure, but more like a friend (or a new family). Someone around your age who could get you the help you needed. And who was better then his own son. The best of the best.
Damian Fucking Wayne.
_________________________________________
“Boys” Bruce shouted in the house.
They all came in to the room a little confused on why Bruce was yelling at 1 in the morning.
“What’s up”? Jason asked.
“That girl we saved last night, she….., she needs our help. I know I said that we shouldn’t speak or see her ever again, but I have come to the realization that it is best for everyone if we keep a close eye on her. At least for now”.
“Why, what happened”? Dick asked.
“She is going through some pretty damaging stuff right now. I won’t get into to detail right now because when she speaks to you. All of you. That is how you’ll know she trusts you. Tim, I want you to send a letter to [Address]. This letter will include that all expenses of her new school at Gotham Academy will paid for. I want you to make it look like the government wishes for her to go there. In the letter you shall not state who the money is coming from, just make sure she comes to this school”. Bruce said firmly.
There stood all of the boys smiling like idiots (some smiling on the inside) ready to take on who might become like a little sister to them. Or more.

My Batfam AU part 6 (pt 1, pt 5)
(Sorry it’s been a minute, life got CRAZY - hope y’all like this next part! 😁)
Tim likes to think he’s pretty good at reading people.
But right now? He has no idea what Jason’s thinking.
And that scares him.
Based on what he knows about the man in front of him, he doesn’t think Jason’s going to start swinging at him or anything but… he doesn’t actually know the man, does he?
Jason doesn’t hurt kids but does he really count?
Is this a test? God he sounds like Bruce, he doesn’t want to be at his level of paranoia but he also wants to be prepared… for well, anything.
Jason died and came back and stalked him and yeah he was nice about it but when he wasn’t making sure Tim was okay he was beating men sometimes literally into the ground.
He wishes he were a kid again, following Batman and Robin on patrol. It was also so much easier then, when his only interaction with his heroes was snapping photos of them from across the skyline.
Now he’s sitting here, waiting for his Robin to make a final judgment… on Tim.
He knows what Jason is capable of…
The man rises to his feet and…
His eyes are glowing green.
At Barbara’s apartment, Bruce almost collapses on the floor next to his oldest son.
Dick he whispers desperately.
He knows it’s not impossible, others have risen from the dead.
But this is not just anymore, this is his son, and if he believes, if he accepts the hope of his boy coming home, and is wrong…
He will break.
He only barely held himself together in the months after Jason’s death.
He knows he messed up with Dick, both before and after Jason. That Tim is the one who not only brought him back from the edge but also back to his oldest.
That he failed Tim too, before being put back together by his youngest, by Tim, his oldest, and Alfred.
He’s been trying, he’s been doing better.
If he allows himself to hope, and they are wrong… he will not survive the set back.
So he ignores the hope that wants to build up in his heart and focuses on what he knows for sure.
We can talk about that later, for now…
For now? Dick whispers, distraught at the idea of doing anything but looking for his brother, now that he knows he’s alive.
For now, we have to focus on Tim. He’s been taken.
Dick shoots himself upright.
Tell me everything you know, now.
Jason stares into Tim’s eyes. He doesn’t blink.
Tim closes his.
The door slams behind Jason.
Tim flinches at the sound.
Then he buries his hand in his knees.
He sits there waiting, for the rest of the night.

Back at it again with Civilian Tim AUs because there is so much Spicy Fun that can happen there? Like? Bby Tim realizing that he has itty bitty noodle arms and can't be the Robin, Jason was? But Batman NEEDS a Robin. Hmmmm he thinks to himself. He's got it! He'll be "Robin" not Robin! He's GREAT at stalk- *cough* he means FOLLOWING some of the best trained people in Gotham. How hard could NORMAL people be?
So he starts collecting information on drug rings and police cases etc. Then? "Robin" the informant... waits for Batman on one of his routes, which he SHOULD NOT KNOW, and tosses him the information! It's the perfect plan!
Except Batman chases him. Wants to know how this small child in his dead boys colors GOT this info. Timmy doesn't want to go to jail OR the hospital... or worse, have his PARENTS get called! And runs. Tim escapes.
He KEEPS escaping.
Gets faster. Smarter and more flexible. Learns the terrain better. Batman all the while keeps chasing him. Even after he gets an ACTUAL Robin. Even when Jason comes back. Batman is both an obsessive man AND incapable of letting things go. He also has a Thing for the chase. Wires start getting crossed the longer it drags on, the longer and more near misses there are. Those moments where he ALMOST pinned this "Robin" or ALMOST got a restraint of some kind on them.
And let's be real, Batman is DEFINITELY Tim's sexual awakening here. The thrill, the muscles, the "what if he catches me?"
Then he DOES. He finally, finally DOES pin that squirming little escape artist beneath him. Gets him tied in a way he CANT escape. And he just... God he DEVOURS him. Maybe it's all the "chases" with Selina. With others. But one moment he's pressing the false Robin to the roof top, the next he's ravaging his mouth and balls deep. Taking all those YEARS of chases ended in failure out on that sweet hole and sensitive little clit.
He won't be running after this, that's for damn sure. No more escapes. Bruce has WON, damn it. He's gonna drag the little bird back to the cave, ID him, fucking CHIP HIM, the up to his room to personally insure he won't be LIMPING anywhere either. Yes he realizes he's probably not thinking clearly, but YEARS of this chase! Worth it. The false Robin hot and tight and almost sobbing on his cock, gushing wet and twitching from how many times Bruce has brought him off. Bruce is gonna make him INCOHERENT.
Might even fuck a kid into him. Can't run if you're pregnant. His, his, his. This maddening focal point, this anchor of sanity, during his lowest point. A mystery to chase that he finally solved and CAUGHT. It held him together. Pulled him back from the edge. Now? Now he can barely stop rutting his hips into that blissful heat long enough to drag him to the bat mobile. Long enough to chip him and drag him upstairs.
Tim's in for quite the marathon before Bruce calms down enough to talk. But regardless, Tim's not going ANYWHERE.
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bruce's sexual attraction for someone like catwoman is at least 85% the thrill of the chase and with tim whose not "hurting" or "stealing" or really a rogue in the strictest definition but does have an apparent fixation on bruce- it would absolutely fill his mind with obsession for him. and it would be made worse because bruce is in a delicate position after jason's death and tim's existence gives him purpose and something to occupy himself like a caged lion that's been given a live animal to toy with with the live animal keeps getting away from him. initially bruce has genuine anger towards tim because he's in robins color and knowing things he couldn't but for the longest time tim is his only constant companion or presence that doesn't actually....harm him. and bruce is a creature of obsession so he can't help but fixate on tim more and more until his perception shifts and the chase and need he has to get tim and pin him down takes on a different...tone.
bruce is so fixated on tim he barely gives mind to his other distractions- selina, other rogues. bruce deals with them efficiently and with none of the dancing around each other because bruce is so locked onto tim completely. bruce is more efficient as batman, better, faster, and its because he needs to be ready and available when he finally spots tim on one of the numerous cameras he's using to monitor gotham. when he catches tim- when he FINALLY catches tim it's a rush of euphoria and years of being constantly taunted and teased by just barely catching him.
so bruce fucks him. of course he does, how can he not. he's pleasantly surprised to find a cute, pink, little pussy when he rips off tim's pants. but that little cunt is practically glistening from the bit of light from the streetlamps nearby so bruce barely has a hard tim working off his cup and letting his hard cock flop out because something strange happened usually. whenever bruce would spot tim he'd start getting and by the end he'd be growling and grunting about losing him and furiously glaring down at his throbbing cock that he'd take care of in the batmobile before returning to the cave.
but now. when he GETS tim he wraps a gloved hand around his hard cock and pushes into that tight little cunt that goes even tighter around him as he starts immediatly rutting and fucking in. bruce is letting out grunts and curses and feeling victory course through his veins as he finally catches this little fake robin who is writing and squirming under him. bruce feels him bucking under him and holds down those little hips, forcing the legs to wrap around his lower back as bruce speeds up and starts fucking harder and harder so that this little fake robin can understand exactly what bruce had been dealing with for years. people like selina never changed and never understood no matter how many times bruce tried to get the lesson through their heads but their little robin? bruce would make sure they learned their lesson even if it meant he had to tie them to a bed until they were fat with his child- give the kid a bit of responsibility, make him understand what it really means to be a functioning member of society. when bruce cums inside that tight little pussy he's been after for years, he feels decades of relief and satisfaction flood him as he jolts and pumps his hips to make sure every single drop is pressed into this pussy he's determined to make his.

Part 2!
On to Jason Todd, the second Robin. After Dick left, Batman caught a street kid stealing tyres off the batmobile and pretty much picks him up like a raccon and goes "you're coming home with me" thus he gains Jason as a son. Jason becomes Robin at age 11 and is desperate to live up to the expectations Dick set before him. When Bruce and Dick make up, Jason and Dick become close as brothers
Jason is murdered by the Joker at age 16 and we will come back to him in just a second
But first I need to bring up Tim Drake. Tim is a child genius who figures out Batman and both Robin's identities at a young age. When Jason died, Batman spiralled into a pretty bad place, becoming violent and despondent and Tim decided to stalk him about it
Tim stalks Bruce for a while and then demands he be allowed to be the third Robin. Batman is very against this, his son just died because he failed to protect him as Robin. But Tim does what he wants and pretty much bullies Batman into letting him be Robin at age 13. Most of Tim's job as Robin is to keep Batman in check while he's grieving and make sure he doesn't go off the deep end
Remember Jason? Surprise! He's alive again! A year later, Jason is revived by Ra's al Ghul (remember him for later), the head of the League of Assassins that first trained Bruce. Ra's has access to the Lazarus Pit which keeps him immortal and can revive the dead
But Jason comes back angry. Not only because the Lazarus Pit does that to you, but also for two personal reasons: 1. Batman did nothing to avenge his death. Joker is still alive because of his "no killing" rule. 2. He was replaced as Robin, as a son, as if he didn't matter
So Jason takes on the persona of Red Hood (an old alias of Joker's) and becomes a crime lord in Gotham to get Batman's attention. He also starts killing the villains that Batman refused to. He gets in many fights with Batman and tries to murder Robin a few times. It takes a good while before they actually talk and get anywhere, Bruce apologising and Jason realising how much influence the Lazarus anger is having over him
Very very very slowly they start to repair their relationship a little. Jason is still pissed, Bruce is still guilty, but over 4 years they are starting to be family again. Jason calls Tim "Replacement" as a nickname but they have more of a tense sibling relationship now. Red Hood considers himself an anti-hero but still presents himself as a crime lord to the rest of the world as a cover. Jason Todd is still legally dead but it's an open secret that he's alive bc he's just walking around Gotham the past 4 years
Jason takes every chance to guilt trip Bruce about his death to get his way and any time someone mentions death he's obligated to chime in "I died once"
He hardly hangs around Wayne Manor, and is not over for dinner as often as Dick, but will make appearances for the sake of Alfred's cooking and the kids sometimes
Once again back to Tim, at 15 his (neglectful, rich) parents found out about him being Robin and made him stop. They died 9 months later and he once again becomes a vigilante, now Red Robin because Robin has just been passed to someone else
Tim still lives at Wayne Manor and runs most of the tech and security systems in the Batcave and the Justice League watchtower (the Justice League think this is Batman running it alone. They are wrong). As a day job he is co-CEO of Wayne Enterprises despite having never completed high school
Ohhh thats cool!
Jason is honestly such an icon for that lmao
Keep em coming!
