Valentine from the count of Monte Cristo anime. She's my second favorite character in the book so I'm really happy she's so pretty in the anime AND I like her English VA
Bonus pretty woman
Eugenie, also from CMC anime. In the 1844 book, she's canonically a lesbian and it's seen as good!!! Her parents are controlling and abusive so her and her gf run off together to become musicians in Italy. I'm not too far in the anime so I'm not sure if they keep her subplot, but they've done an excellent job of portraying her as an intelligent independent woman which is super cool :]
woemenwn.... weomen.. wemnon
pie you've managed to send me two ladies that are EXACTLY my type in two distinctly different ways and i may very well start watching the count of monte cristo anime some time soon

i dont know how many people who follow me played shovel knight but i still think the body swap feature they added was very neat... basically it started as a standard gender-swap where all the male knights were just going to have female versions
But then they decided to let you pick and choose who you wanted swapped. And they added in the choice for whichever pronouns you wanted the knight to have, which were not bound to whichever sprite you were having them use. (ie. you could use the "female" version of the sprite but give the character "male" pronouns.) They added gender neutral pronouns eventually too.
It was a nice way to modernize the gender-bend type concept I think.

I wanted to draw my own take on ART-as-a-presence-in-the-feed but struggled with what path to take for A While bc all I had was that I was adamant about a winding, serpentine body, too large to take in at once and So Good at piling upon your shoulders with weight that's either overwhelming or comforting, take your pick
And then I brought in the hexagons and everything just worked
(They let me give it a face without an actual face, make for a good shorthand to show that it's talking/present in potential future art, and as a bonus serve as an homage to JWST bc hey, science!)
Partially brought to you by a whole lot of listening to Satellite by Starset
