May I ask what softwares or programs you use to draw, especially if you were taught in school some but then you started using others.

Sure! Thank you for the ask!

I started learning digital on my own and taught myself Clip Studio paint. Photoshop is the industry standard (sadly), so I always recommend having a bit of knowledge of it if you want to professionally work in art.

Recently I moved to procreate, which is really intuitive.

I don't know if you're interested in animation, but I was taught Toon Boom Harmony (industry standard) in school and switched to Procreate Dreams. (Won't recommend the app yet, a lot of things missing but a lot of potential).

In general, I recommend clip studio, especially for the one time purchase and the store full of free assets and brushes.
