Look all I’m saying is as the centuries pass after the events of bg3, I choose to believe some bard is going to make a really god awful cheesy opera or musical about the tragedy of durgetash. Forbidden lovers doomed from the start? Practically writes itself. It’s has to be so obnoxiously over the top melodramatic. It barely follows any of the actual events. Like it’s just so bad that Bane makes Gortash’s afterlife punishments even worse because of it’s existence.

apart from seeing heiji in action i think the part of the million dollar pentagram i'm looking most forward to is the intro sequence...i really appreciate how creative the anime team has gotten with the intros over the years like i loooove black iron submarine's intro so damn much it's so perfect (except for the part where they forgot to explain what the aptx is lol)?? the part where it transitions to the inside of a torpedo tube as the flute starts playing which makes it sound like the music is actually playing inside the tube and echoing off the metal walls like WOW

the bride of halloween's intro was also pretty good albeit a little difficult to follow especially if you're a new watcher, but i still really liked the transitions. million dollar pentagram i am counting on you to blow me away with the intro 🙏

I did not understand Hidan girlies back in the day but I was a manga & dubbed Naruto watcher so I'm only just getting around to watching the subbed anime for the first time and by god Hidan's Japanese VA fucking ATE! INCREDIBLE performance!!! 10/10!!!

#this man is SO unhinged and the VA REALLY captures it!!#Pretty sure they cut back on swearing in the dub DEFINITELY the use of the R word if my memory serves. Man that is SOOOO dated 😭#giving me whiplash remembering the jerkoffs trying to bring it back. NO! >:( Leave that bullshit in the past where it BELONGS!#anways yeah big props to Hidan's Japanese VA during the Asuma dies arc 10/10 incredible I can't even be sad besides #feelings sad for the InoShikaCho trio because the Hidan and Kakuzu characters are so fun and their VAs are EATING #I mention Hidan but the Kakuzu guy is really good too so I KINDA get the Kakuzu girlies a LITTLE bit more than I used to #The English VAs for them are also good but the Japanese VAs are on a different plane of existence from the rest of us 👌👌👌#The animators for this arc ALSO popped the fuck off too and the intro and credit songs slap this is overall a really good arc #why dubbed only? Finally watched Dungeon Meshi and I like it. Not that I didn't think I wouldn't, I'm just not into anime like I used to be, can't stand the long, mainstream ones anymore that are just, let's fight the thing, oh here's a thing that's even stronger and it just keeps going on forever, so the last few things I watched were like-Beast Stars and My Love story. Does restort pokemon count? Or Rilakkuma and Kaoru, I'm counting those, good stop mo and cute as heck too.

english prof just left LOADS of feedback on my essay omg this is so exciting

#personal #the english chronicles #FINALLY!!!!!!!! someone who doesn’t just slap an a on it and call it a day #most of it is picking at me for passive voice use and my really shitty conclusion paragraph BAHAHA we were limited to 3 pages #and i was really struggling to cut it down bc. the prompt i chose involved 7 different concepts like give examples of these concepts in this #short story but i also had to Define and Explain the concepts and then there was also the intro and conclusion and header block and it’s #double spaced like 3 pages is rlly not enough for this prompt if you want to give a genuine critical analysis. so my conclusion was #extremely short and shallow lmfao but yeah. he also left lots of praise 😌 AND! he left audio recording for everyone?? like damn okay you are #a prof who genuinely wants to see his students improve thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏻 yes i only got a 90 which i think is the lowest ive #ever gotten on an essay but idc my respect for him just Shot up. also only four of us got A-range grades so i still feel p okay abt that #and i started the essay night of so all things considered this could have gone worse lol #also i got the top score on the exam last week so still riding that high (i needed the ego boost so bad guys 💀) but anyway. i think he’s #retiring after this semester tho this is so tragic he’s also just a rlly fun nice guy in class too like i would 100% take him again #but yeah. i will concede that i fall into passive voice a lot without realizing it so glad he said smth abt it i will be more mindful 🫡#also i guess i did a couple page citations incorrectly it has been a minute since i touched mla and i thought you could either segue into a #page citation like on so and so page they say this OR do parenthetical in-text citation at the end of a quote but he only wants the #parenthetical type ever. not sure if this is a flat rule of mla or just teacher preference i will b looking into this #edit okay looks like flat rule for mla. my bad 🙈 i only did the segue thing twice instead of the parenthetical citation thankfully

#castlevania #castlevania music #curse of darkness #music of the day #otherwise known as young nobleman of madness #isaac joins alucard and joachim as the characters named 'young nobleman' and he's the oddest one lmao #if the title is meant to mean 'prince of madness' then it's quite the badass title for a villain #in any case #this slaps ass hard #it's probably *the* rockiest track in the whole series #complete with chanting that somehow fit #it's nothing but constant intense energy and it's really fun to listen to as a boss theme #fitting the high octane fights with hector's rival and his innocent devils keeping you on your toes #but it can also represent the violent vicious hatred isaac has succumbed to #to the point that there's no room for anything else in his heart #yamane said it herself: 'insane yet with a tragic fate'#the tragic part of his character is more evident in the solo #that changes chords from major to minor #it's like it's saying 'you have to kill him because he's too far gone'#and it's so good that the same melody is present in the intro cutscene #of all parts i absolutely adore the guitar screech at the end of the solo #it sounds like isaac's war cry at the beginning of his second boss battle #all his fury and grief concentrated in one note #it's beautiful
