That lovely season between summer and winter that keeps everything on track and in balance -Liyue is more of a temperate region, so often you can’t tell that summer has ended until autumn is already half over -But oh boy, when the weather changes, it CHANGES -One day it’s sunny and mild, the next day it’s pouring rain, you and Foul Legacy staring out the window in disbelief -He then nudges your shoulder, glancing from you to the rain and back again with a pleading expression. With a sigh you allow him to pull you back into bed, snuggling up to you with a happy chirp -Taking the first rainy autumn day off from work becomes a tradition for the two of you -And when it’s not pouring, walks outside the city are an absolute must! Liyue is a sight to behold in autumn, with the leaves turning vibrant colors and slowly falling from their branches- you and Legacy happily crunch many, many leaves underfoot, relishing the crispy crackling sound they make -It’s also harvest season, so there’s plenty of apples and other fruit growing from the trees for you to snack on -SPEAKING OF APPLES, you and Foul Legacy could harvest some to make cider, he is very enthusiastic when helping you!! Occasionally an apple will fall and bonk him on the head, and you have to bite your tongue to keep from laughing at the chagrined trill he lets out -Warm drinks aplenty, especially during cooler days. You make tea, hot cocoa, the aforementioned cider- but not coffee. Never coffee. Have you ever seen an Abyss monster on caffeine? Do not give Foul Legacy coffee -You’ll curl up with these warm drinks together, cuddled under a blanket as you watch storms and wind from the safety of your home. Sometimes there’s thunder and lightning, and Legacy quickly hides under the covers and presses himself up to you with a slight shiver, but he slowly begins to purrs when you run your fingers through his hair, tense muscles loosening -The colder season also means thicker clothes, which means comfy sweaters!! You take great joy in wrapping yourself in cozy coats and scarves -Unfortunately shops don’t make sweaters in Legacy’s size, which he is very sad about :( So you decide to make one for him! It’s a deep blue color, made with yarn that has little silver threads in it so it glints when the fabric moves -He absolutely adores it, chittering in delight and running his claws delicately over the soft cloth before very carefully putting it on. Now he’s warm and comfy and so much better to lean your head against :) He treats that sweater like it’s made of gold -The nights also get chilly, so there’s a 95% chance you’ll end up with a moth in your arms and vice versa. Abyss creatures get cold (and lonely) too! -If you’re out for a walk and a particularly biting wind comes by, he’ll bury his face in your neck or put his claws against your warm stomach- he never admits how much he likes the startled shriek you let out -Occasionally it will start drizzling during your walk and you have to run home, getting to witness Legacy shaking out his wings and hissing in displeasure, pouting until you smile and give him a tight hug of reassurance -Autumn is the season of cooking and baking, and Foul Legacy LOVES peeking over your shoulder to see what delicious treat you’re working on. He’ll even dare to sneak a taste here and there, letting out low, rumbling laughs when you catch him in the act -You also make jam together!! There’s plenty of fresh berries growing, so you’ll pick some and preserve it in jars for the winter (Foul Legacy likes strawberry rhubarb) and the whole house smells DELICIOUS -He’ll keep any pretty leaves he sees and give them to you as a gift :) And if you press and save them, he’ll be so incredibly happy

-Of course, not everything is sunshine and rainbows- a lot of rainstorms and thunder, honestly. Some days you have to sneak out of bed before Foul Legacy’s even awake, leaving only a gentle kiss on his forehead as you head to work while it’s still dark and raining -Those days are hard, having to file reports and attend meetings with your shoes soaking wet and sleep still in your eyes, because everyone at your job always wants something -But it’s alright, you can handle it, because you know that there’s someone waiting for you at home, someone curled up on the couch and looking at the window to try and catch sight of your figure walking back -And the moment you open that door, you’re scooped into his embrace, your Foul Legacy’s arms snaking around you and giving you a tender hug. You hug him back as your heart warms, the first smile of the day creeping onto your face when he carries you to his blanket nest for snuggles, so you can feel warm and toasty and happy again on this dreary autumn day

It’s winter now and almost time to start my advent calendar which means it’s hot coco season which means it’s “my brain that’s obsessing over Sanji is now thinking of which hot coco recipes he would use for each strawhat” season I guess

So without further ado, here are the hot coco recipes (with links) I think sanji would use for each straw hat

Luffy: pioneer woman crock pot hot coco, because 6-8 servings is one Luffy serving. Sanji can also set it up over night so that it’s ready in the morning for Luffy to sneak in and drink

Zoro: Spiked Dark Chocolate Peppermint Hot Coco. He’d switch milk chocolate for dark and use extra peppermint so 1) it appeals to Zoro even though it’s sweet and 2) so he tastes like peppermint when they kiss later

Chopper: cinnamon roll hot coco, because chopper is Sanjis little cinnamon roll ❤️❤️ also it’s sweet as all get out

Robin: Mexican Hot Chocolat, I think this woman likes spice and I don’t think I have to explain that. It just makes sense.

Nami: obviously Orange Hot Chcolate, but with the tangerines from her trees

Franky: hear me out, Sanji bought a limited supply of this weird Pepsi Coco flavor soda just for Franky. He tried it thinking he could recreate it and hated it so much he didn’t even try

Brook: no recipe, he’s just giving Brook hot milk with a little vanilla for his bones

Usopp: I can absolutely see Sanji making Usopp whipped hot chocolate, just for the adorable foamy mustache it would give him

Jimbei: Sanji found an obscure Coco recipe from the Caribbean that he wants to use for Jimbei. It uses bay leaves and cocao nibs and it’s generally just something I could see appealing to him

Update:

While this series originally started as fandom cookbook-exclusive, my visit to Hell’s Kitchen in Vegas (and subsequent purchase of one of Gordon Ramsay’s books) has opened my eyes to how restrictive that requirement was. While I’ll definitely continue working out of my collection of fandom cookbooks— there are plenty of recipes I still want to try— I’ll be branching out to other books and maybe even the internet. I love cooking, and I really enjoy sharing it with people like you. Thanks for sticking around as long as you have! (And if you’re new, I hope you stay awhile if you like this review!) While I’m far from a professional chef, food has long been an inspiration for other forms of my art, and this summer has really cemented its place there.

Other changes to this series will include reducing the amount of Chef Leuci’s logs (they’ll still show up in more fantasy-based reviews, don’t worry!) and a different review scale for dishes like the ones I’m serving tonight (similar to the original review scale, just lacking the ”Immersion” rating). Again, the more fantasy-based reviews will remain the same.

This dish… was something completely different than I expected. In a good way. It’s a very thin soup with a HUGE amount of ingredients. It made seven servings when the recipe said it would make 6, and I’m serving 4 people. Not complaining, though, everyone enjoyed it, and it seems like it’ll be good hot or cold. The flavor is super complex— every ingredient NEEDS to be in there, or it doesn’t work nearly as well. It’s delicious, full of vegetables, and the nuanced flavor makes you want to eat slowly in order to really experience it. Also, the thinness of the soup is absolutely deceiving. It’s super filling. It only loses one point because of the sheer amount of vegetables we had to chop (big thanks to my dad for helping out, or it would’ve taken forever).

Main Dish: Coronation Chickpeas

Before you ask, this loses the same point that the soup did. Lots of vegetable chopping. That’s not a bad thing by any means— I love vegetables (and enjoy chopping them too), but for someone less experienced, I think it’s important to note that and reflect it in my assessment of the difficulty. Anyway— this vegetarian (we made it vegan) take on coronation chicken was incredible. I’ve never had coronation chicken before, but if it’s anything like this dish, I’ll probably enjoy it. This is a salad, served cold, made up of cauliflower, carrots, chickpeas and green onions, with a yogurt-based dressing (which I mixed myself) mainly flavored with curry powder. While, as I’ve said, I normally despise cauliflower— I think I’m learning to like it. Between last review’s wings and this delicious, crunchy salad, who knows? Maybe I’ve just had bad cauliflower all my life.

Dessert: Chocolate and Avocado Mousse

This mousse… was incredible. Like, when I told my partner what I was making for my family tonight, she was skeptical of this (as was I, a little bit.) but WOW. Simple, only four ingredients and an hour in the fridge, and it sets right up just like a normal chocolate mousse. I didn’t use raw cocoa powder, so it was a little bit on the dark chocolate side of the taste profile, but when we actually ate it, we put a little bit of Coco Whip (not pictured) on it— the sweetness of that picked it right up. I’d love to make this again, maybe with some raspberry or orange flavoring added— it was rich and decadent while also being surprisingly healthy. Only vaguely related: I got this really cool tool for opening an avocado that removed all of the danger of cutting yourself open while trying to get that tasty tasty green mush. Thought it wouldn’t work, since it was $3. But it was super effective, and I’m looking forward to making something with that second avocado we’ve got on the counter… I love avocados. 🥑

Day 2: More Hot cocoa headcanons

A/N: As much as I love Thoma, my brain was kinda empty for writing about him, its always I either write a whole novel's worth of commentary about him or its just tv static but pink and full of hearts. Holiday king, that’s it, that’s the post.

No, but he is extraordinary in making things feel so gentle, warm, cozy, and full of care.

Often bakes little treats so that the two of you can enjoy the homemade hot chocolate. Bonus points if the two of you bake together.

These moments of bliss would often occur in the evening. The sun bids you goodbye early, cold wind picking up outside, but the heat from the oven is warming up the kitchen. But nothing warms you up as much as hanging out with Thoma. Everything he says and does always has a certain charm to it that just shows how much caring he has. His smile always manages to melt everything away.

The two of you would often bundle up together in a pile of handmade blankets the two of you like to make together. Sometimes one of you would be reading a book out loud while the other listens. Sometimes a conversation would spark up.

It was just about being in the moment, being able to wind down for the day, but also spending a tender moment with someone so special.

He definitely brings you over to his family’s house to spend the holidays.

You + his family? in one roof? = absolute win in his books

Loves making hot cocoa in the morning for everyone.

He melts when he sees his brothers and sisters gather around you and pile by the fireplace. You’re sitting in the middle of all of them, mug in one hand while the other is mindlessly playing with the hair of one of his siblings as they fall asleep in your lap. Another will beg you to tell them a story and you smile contently ready to make up a fairytale for them.

He can hear the sounds of giggles and laughter from the living room as he heads back in the kitchen to make everyone pancakes.

Its moments like those where he can physically feel weight being lifted off his shoulder and he can indulge spending time with the people closest to his heart without worries.

His chest puffs out in pride at your smile full of delight as you giddily exclaim that breakfast is here and their strong big brother brought them extra special pancakes.

After such a delicious breakfast you would lay your head on his shoulder, watching everyone excitedly play with their toys. His arm would always tuck you in closer and press a gentle kiss to the forehead.

Anyway.

For your TWST ocs, what do you feel would be their favorite snacks? EXCLUDING HUMANS. Like do they have a quick or filling comfort snack or meal after a long day or maybe when they’re down?

Well, in the case of three of my six canon pred OCs, humans actually ARE their favorite snack or meal, although I don't necessarily know if they count as "comfort food" for any of them. XD For Billy, I think his favorite type of treat would be chocolate. In terms of a full meal...he has a family recipe for a chocolate-glazed pot roast that he finds absolutely delicious (as well as massively fattening). That's not really a snack, because obviously it's something that takes time to make, but it is a meal he loves making from time to time. Chocolate, in general, however, is definitely something he enjoys. He also likes marshmallows, which...given how squishy he is, that seems only fitting. Ha ha. For Nakoda, he likes sweet breads, pastries, and pudding. As I said in an Ask a while back, his "comfort breakfast" is a dish called Puri, which is an Indian staple that consists of light, airy sweet bread served WITH pudding. When he can't get that, he just likes that kind of stuff in general. It's light, sweet, and simple. Elias LOVES bacon. He will buy packs of pre-made bacon strips, and just...have those, the way a person might eat sticks of jerky or something. He's a dog boy, after all, and we all know how dogs get over "Beggin' Strips." ;) Reno is a junk food addict. He loves cheeseburgers, fries, potato chips, onion rings, all that stuff. He likes sweet things too, especially mellowcreme candies (such as candy corn or mellowcreme pumpkins), but he's happiest with food that is thick, juicy, savory, and more than a bit greasy. Also drinks a LOT of soda. James I don't think DOES comfort food. Not in the TYPICAL way, anyhow. There's nothing he considers truly "comforting" that he can just...sort of buy at the store really quick or whip up in a few minutes. About the closest thing that probably comes close is good old bread-and-butter with jelly. He does, however, very much like seafood, and also poultry-based dishes, of various sorts. (Much like Ace, though, he isn't a fan of oysters.) Speaking of seafood, this is also a favorite for Smitty and Maelstrom. Smitty's "comfort food" is fishsticks: while he does like more "sophisticated" forms of fish-based cuisine, fishsticks are something of a childhood favorite, hence why I classify them, for him, as "comfort food." Maelstrom prefers sushi, sashimi, and ESPECIALLY kalimari, although it's hard to say if that last one qualifies as typical "comfort snack" type stuff. Theodore has a sweet tooth. He particularly loves hard candies, such as lollipops and gobstoppers, as well as red licorice, and a few forms of sweet bread, such as gingerbread. It's something a lot of people don't expect when they first meet him, but he REALLY enjoys sweet and sugary stuff. It's a combo of a fast metabolism and him keeping himself decently in shape that prevents him from gaining about a billion tons of weight. XD Finally, Grit has a love for lime creme pie and hot cocoa. This is actually a reference to "Return to Oz," where the Nome King - his inspiration - dines on "Limestone Pie and Hot Melted Silver" in front of Dorothy and her friends. Since Grit is only HALF Nome, I figure he'd prefer the more human-friendly version of the same. XD In-canon, the reason he loves these so much is because of his Mom. No one makes them the way she does, but he loves them even when they are "inferior copies." Ha Ha.

idk if you've read it already, but i did write a der katzenprinz but-what-if-they-kissed fic from jester's perspective, which might give you some of what you're looking for. alternatively, may i recommend the fic "you are in love" by the ever lovely jade? it is a similarly der katzenprinz begun but then has continued on for so many lovely chapters exploring what could have (SHOULD HAVE) happened next. additionally: snowed in, by snurtz; for every road we can't retrace by elsinorerose; and word of recall by wretchedartifact (though i can't exactly remember if this takes place before or after the kiss? but it is eiselcross adjacent, and so so good)(and also anything else by any of these wonderful writers, who are all SO GOOD).

top 5 desserts 🧁

ice cream cake: i'm not sure whoever invented the ice cream cake knew how much of an impact it would have on me however-many-centuries later. i mean, come on—it's cake, but with ice cream. neither of these things are incredible just on their own—delicious, yes, but life-changing? nope. plus i have some nice memories attached to them (see: my 13th birthday and the chocolate-strawberry ice cream cake my mom surprised me with <3)

fudge brownies, but specifically the ones you can get from the cafe in my uni's library: my dependence on these (especially last semester god) should be studied actually. they not only give you the slice piping hot, they also melt lindt chocolate onto it! and it's the perfect amount of bitter cocoa and sweet milk chocolate too—good job [redacted] cafe.

gajar (carrot) halwa: i like this one a) because it reminds me a lot of home and b) because carrot-flavoured desserts get an unfair rep for no reason. it's sweet and rich, and when warmed up? absolutely wonderful. don't hate it 'till you try it

oreo-flavoured anything: i just like oreos

french hearts: a slightly unconventional choice, perhaps, but i love having these with tea! only at the bottom of this list because they need to have just the right amount of sweetness to be truly appealing

Heartslaybul - Strawberry Custard Tart

Strawberries just suit Heartslaybul in my mind along with tarts! What's nice about this tart is it's easy to make! You can make the tart dough in advance and freeze it or make it fresh. Custard fillings are ridiculously easy and adding some fresh strawberries on top for a pop of colour and deliciousness fits Heartslaybul's style!

Savanaclaw - Chocolate Malva Pudding

According to my search this is a simple dessert with apricot jam and cocoa in the cake. It is served hot and with vanilla ice cream to bring out the chocolate of the cake. It's simple but I think that suits Savanaclaw, where even if the dish is simple it has a variety of flavours to bring people back for more.

Octavinelle - French Macaroons (Lavender Earl Grey as their specialty)

If there are two flavours that will get me to open my wallet to purchase it's lavender and earl grey. I adore the combination so much and the colour fits Octavinelle's palette perfectly. Anyways, Macaroons in general, while finicky to make, can come in a variety of flavours, meaning you can make some popular ones in limited quantities and watch the mad race to purchase them skyrocket your sales... I mean encourage people to visit your bakery :)

They're also easy to eat, are usually purchased in half a dozen or a dozen so you can get different flavours to try, and allow creativity for limited time flavours. However, the Lavender Earl Grey ones are the specialty and Azul makes sure they're aesthetically pleasing and perfect.

Scarbia - Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

There is something about citrus and Scarbia as a combination that make my mind very happy. Anyways, like my pick for Savanaclaw sometimes it's about the simplicity of the dessert that draws people in. Lemon poppy seed cakes are soft, light, with a lemon twist that isn't too sour or sweet. It can also be a layered cake with icing between to add some sweetness should someone want that.

Pomefiore - Handheld Apple Pies

Yes, I'm also going for an apple theme for Pomefiore. No, I'm not ashamed. I saw this recipe for apple pies that are not only handheld but shaped like apples with a little heart cut out piece? Absolutely adorable. They're so cute and would fit Pomefiore's style. Plus, they're a small snack with just the right amount of sweetness to fill you up.

Ignihyde - Tiramisu

I picked this cake because it has coffee in it. Look, Idia is up all night gaming anyways. He probably drinks an unholy combination of energy drinks and coffee on rotation. The dorm had to do something about this and if your dorm leader is up at 2:34am making another pot of coffee, why not take advantage and bake too? Thus, Ignihyde's signature dessert is tiramisu because if they bake with the coffee, there is less for Idia to drink and MAYBE he can go to sleep at a proper time.

Diasomnia - Dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake

I think dark chocolate suits Diasomnia. Cheesecakes can be made to be as dense or light as you wish so they can cater to people like me, who can't eat a lot of dense cheesecake less I feel gross. The dark chocolate adds a bit of bitter to counter the sweetness along with raspberries that are a tart berry. This cake is made by the only person in Diasomnia that has some cooking sensibility, Silver (who is supervised by Trey). Lilia is forbidden from the kitchen.

Smell Like Chocolate🍫.

Dear Twenty-Ones,

It’s only reasonable that your fragrance scents change with the seasons. You don’t exactly want to smell like “Fiji” or “Coconut Hibiscus” in December. Many people opt for sweet holiday scents such as peppermint and vanilla bean. I grew up with those particular scents being widely popular. Large bottles of perfume and lotions would be displayed at the very front of Bath & Body Works each Christmas.

One scent I never really thought to look for however…is chocolate. This season I did plenty of research and found some of the best products to layer to smell like a walking mug of hot cocoa. Not only will you smell delicious but also very different than the rest of the girls.

Here are my top picks for layering the chocolate scent:

Philosophy: Pink Frosted Animal Cracker. ($17) This sweet vanilla, cracker scented body wash/shampoo is my top recommendation for the first step. This body wash soothes the skin and establishes a nice vanilla base scent. I found this in Marshall’s and TjMaxx!

B&BW: Vanilla Mocha Martini Lotion. ($14) The name is as accurate as it gets. This lotion can be layered above your normal body lotion to lock in hydration and a mocha scent. It smells super sweet but doesn’t last on the skin long so you may have to reapply. This is a cheaper option for lotion.

Fenty: Butta Drop Limited Edition. ($45) Now ladies, hear me when I say that this is the absolute best body cream I have tried in a while. It smells like cinnamon and butter. It has a nice shimmer and also makes your skin soft. I layer this after my standard lotion in areas, such as my arms, neck, and chest, that may be exposed to others. This is a more pricey option for lotion but is highly recommended. Mind you that the Butta Drop Limited Edition is only in stores for a select amount of time!

Choco Musk Al-Rehab. ($12) Arabic perfumes have become well known within the last few years. Choco Musk by Al-Rehab is a staple perfume/oil. It smells like powdered hot chocolate with melted marshmallows on top. It has notes of vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon, white musk, sandalwood, etc. This is a cheap option for perfume and can be found on Amazon!

Eilish by Billie Eilish. ($68) This is an amber gourmand perfume with hints of warm berries, vanilla, cocoa, warm musk, and soft spices. This is on the pricier side of perfumes. It can be found in Ulta!

hello darling wife<3 i’m assuming that by the time you read this it’s morning or afternoon, if that’s the case i hope you slept well and had a good fill of breakfast and fluids to start, unless you don’t eat breakfast:) i have arrived for my bi-weekly(?) delivery of love and kisses for my pretty, pretty wife 🥰

one day until friday and then we have the weekend, whether or not you have plans, i hope it’s well spent ...cuddling me, duh. and nanami.  here’s a reminder to do something extra nice for yourself today, and tomorrow, and the day after:) and of course bundle up, blankets in the dryer, and have some hot cocoa. my brain’s been kind of slow to process the change in seasons and colder weather conditions, and it’s just now starting to hit me lol. 

i hope your spirits are kept high even with the colder weather, but if not it’s okay too! <3 i’d very much appreciate it if you’d do for yourself what you wish upon others. tend to your innermost needs, spoil yourself (i will accept no counterarguments 😶), and if it doesn’t financially compromise you, just do it. with work, social life, and this hellish app:/ i hope that in the midst of everything you find yourself and your needs a priority of utmost importance 🫶🏼

my sincerest apologies if the words are not wording, this just reeks of chaos and randomness it's 5 am and my bilingual brain has been brawling with itself lately and my English is actually starting to deteriorate 🫠, i’m also sleepy (i told you your wife is a sleepy girlie, it’s literally morning lol)

snookums! my precious angel, my most decadent sweet! sorry this is a late reply! I've been out all day, but I'm back now, ready for your cuddles! I usually drink iced coffee as my breakfast in the morning whenever I'm working in the office, but tomorrow I wfh, so I may treat myself to a home cooked meal of some sort :)

I treated myself today! I went out with a friend for dinner and we shared chicken karaage, okonomiyaki, and takoyaki! here's pics of it to whet your appetite 😋

we also got boba and chatted in the car for hours, so it was very nice to catch up! I imagine this would be a typical date for you and I, indulging in delicious food, then some sort of dessert after. ♥️ and of course, snuggles to end the night!

make sure you bundle up too! it's been very cold where I am and I have finally broken out the hoodies and sweaters. don't forget your fuzzy socks and beanies (if you wear those)!

thank you for always reminding me to be kind to myself! I've been in a bit of a funk lately, but seeing you in my inbox is a huge help, more than you know. also, please never ever apologize because you are so eloquent and I'm always in awe after reading your lovely messages to me. 🥹 I hope you were able to get enough rest today (you were up early/you stayed up late!), but if not, I hope you can use this weekend to do so.

Kochen für kleine und große Champions

I am currently traveling with the DFB team in the USA, but I would like to use the time to present something very special to you today:

My new cookbook "Kochen für kleine und große Champions" 👨‍🍳 📖

Together with nutritionist Dr. Matthias Riedl, an absolute expert, I am now launching my first book on the subject of nutrition. For me it is important to bring nutrition knowledge to the forefront. The book should not just be a collection of great recipes. It should be a practical guide that helps you to understand the topic of healthy nutrition and to integrate it into your daily life.

I was able to learn a tremendous amount from "Doc Riedl" during the joint making of the book. You will find much of this in the first half of the book. From my point of view, this is an enormously important part.

Did you know that many foods have real "superpowers"? With this book you can awaken your children's curiosity and learn a lot yourself.

Nutrition is not just a fashionable topic, but an essential part of a healthy life. And if we transmit these values to our children at an early age, we prepare them for a life full of vitality and well-being.

Overnight oats with nuts and cocoa

For 4 persons

Preparation time: 10 min

Resting time: 2 hours or overnight

200g Oat flakes

½L unsweetened soy drink

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 tablespoons defatted cocoa powder

1 tsp cinnamon powder

4 tbsp cashews

1 mango

4 tbsp. hazelnut butter (alternatively almond or peanut butter)

4 tbsp. cocoa nibs

1. in the evening, mix the oatmeal with soy drink, maple syrup, cocoa and cinnamon powder in a bowl until smooth and all the lumps have dissolved. The oatmeal mix above night - or at least 2 hours - covered in the refrigerator.

2. the next morning, coarsely chop the cashews and lightly roast them in a pan without fat over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove and leave to cool

3. In the meantime, peel the mango, cut the pulp from the stone first into wide strips and then into cubes.

4. To serve, spread the oat flakes, decorate with the mango cubes and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of hazelnut butter, toasted cashews and cocoa nibs.

Cooking tip:

If you prefer a hot breakfast in the morning, you can heat the oat flakes overnight in a saucepan or in the microwave before sprinkling them on top.

If the oat flakes become too hard when reheated, add an extra splash of soy beverage.

Blueberries can also be substituted for the mango.

In the book you'll find more than 50 everyday-friendly, quick-to-prepare and tasty recipes for the whole family. From clever ideas for "sneaking" something healthy into kids' mouths to tips for staying fit with healthy food, it's all here.

We have tried to design the book in a way that is understandable and easy for everyone to put into practice. No complicated recipes, but simple, delicious, fun and healthy dishes.

I am convinced that healthy eating is an important key to a fit and happy life. With this book I want to motivate you to try new things in the kitchen and show you how much fun it can be to cook with fresh ingredients.
